Big S returns with a bad cold

Big S (Barbie) returns from mainland China on Saturday night, Feb 5, 2005, and the first thing she wanted was her mother to cook the Chinese New Year Cake. After 3 months of filming in China, she finally comes back to Taiwan with a bad cold. Her mother urges her to go to the hospital the moment she arrived, but it was only yesterday afternoon she dragged herself to see a doctor.

After wrapping up Phantom Lover last Monday, she went on tour to Guangzhou and to Hongkong for a photoshoot of two new advertisements. Maybe because of fatigue, lack of sleep and the clothing she wore on the shoot, her cold got worst.
These advertisements are for summer spring release so she wore those clothes in a winter environment. (Brrrrrr.)

According to Mommy Xu, she will take a rest in Taiwan, and if all is well Taiwan audience will be able to see her back in their show, the soonest will be 22nd.

But if the cold get serious, is the plan of vacation to Japan with the boyfriend Blue will not push through? Mommy Xu said that “Let her rest again and she would be good. The sisters worked for a very long time, they should relax and go abroad.” Asked about the intense bed scene of Blue with Li Kang on his “The Lover” series, Mommy Xu said that, “Big S was not happy. It’s unavoidable.” Since she’s mad with Blue, is the trip to Japan cancelled? “No. I see the two of them are okey now, I heard her say she’s still going to Japan with Blue.The plan won’t change."

S- sacrifice
I am a vegetarian because two years ago one of my dog was very sick and almost died. I was very sad and decided to be a vegetarian for one year hoping that can help my dog recover. I liked to eat meat before. But now i feel that it's right to be a vegetarian because other animals like my dog, they all have life and life is very important.
S- sad
The saddest moment in my life was four years ago when my grandpa passed away. I really admire my grandpa. He was very generous and have a great sense of humor. A wonderful grandpa. Before his death, i didn't have any close relatives who died. So his death was a big hit to me. There was a period of time when i still couldn't believe that grandpa has passed away. Because of his death, i came to understand that it's a regular pattern. Now, I am more closer to my family and friends. Before i would fight or argue with my mom and sister(s), now i learned to control my temper and i am no longer too particular about trifles. If i am out, i would buy gifts for them.
S- sensitive
I don't like sex jokes. I don't like to hear them cause i don't think it's funny. If friends talk about sex jokes, i would just turn my face away.
S- safe
My mom gives me the most secure feeling. She is also my spirit pillar. She takes care of lots of things for me and Dee. Me and dee are "living idiots." We have no brain for numbers. Even now, i have problem remembering my cellphone number and home phone number. One time while i was filming in China (eternity), i felt so insecure. I had not been home for a long time. I only slept 4 hours total for one whole week and only had instant noodles to eat. I felt pain and sick. My body got thinner so my mom flied to China to accompany me for two weeks.
S- satisified
Although Barbie did a very good job in hosting and acting, the most satisfaction she gets is from her family. As long as i see that my family and my dogs are healthy, i could be very satified and happy. Now i have 3 dogs and rabbits. Everytime i am sad, angry or sometimes come home late and everybody is already asleep, i would chat with my dog. I don't know whether they understand me, but i feel that they are so embarrassed to look at me.
S- sorry
The only thing that i feel sorry for myself is i didn't do well in school. I told my boyfriend once that i regret of not putting more effort on the book or with my studies. After i grew up, i found out that i am interested in science and the universe. But now, i could not be in this area. If time can go back, i like to go to America to study science and wish to have a chance to be a scientist to save the earth or study aliens.

1) all the vegetarian restaruant in japan has to be reserved first, since barbie didn't reserved, she ates lots strawberry pie, cake, etc. (it's strawberry season over there), and gained weight, more than 4 pounds. since she was very exhausted due to film the drama, this time when she was in japan, she just stay at tokoyo, didn't go other place. she putted on pretty clothes everyday, and went out to search good foods. she was backed today's 100% show.
2)she became avon china spokesperson, and got paid almost 10 million dollars (taiwan yen).
3) she will go japan in march to promote mars, and go china in april to promote mars. and she will also go china to promote her first movie " ghost inside".

Da S and Xiao S are rumored to be signing a new contract with SET's affliated management company(the same company that produced Dolphin Bay). If the deal is sealed, then Da S will host a new cosmetics/beauty talk show while Xiao S will host a new variety show with 5566 on SET. Apparently, Mrs. Xu does not approve of this idea, as Da S has just finished filming a new drama in Beijing, and Xiao S has two shows to host, Mrs. Xu doesnt want her daughters to spend all their time working. update on Barbie's new series Phantom Lover:

Huang Lei, director of the recently finished "Phantom Lover" series, is facing a big problem. Because of the editing staffs' carelessness, almost all of the 25 episodes of the said series was erased.

It is reported that during his Television interview, he breakdown in tears. According to him, since it was his first Chinese New Year being married, he set the date of editing the show after the celebration. And when he returns for the edit on the 6th day after the Chinese New Year (Feb 15), the unexpected occurs. Only the 1st & 2nd episode is left of the 25 episodes, nearly half a year of filming is lost.

Supressing his anger, Huang Lei talked to the editing staffs and the big mistake they have committed. And wasting no time, he held a general meeting and discussed how they can solve their problem. Reporters seek for him for updates, if they already recovered the data, the staffs says, they are still following a brilliant plan.
