3/18 Students unhappy with Zaizai's bad habit, skipping lessons. School purposely covers up

Zaizai is currently promoting Mars in Japan, his appearence which looked gentle and handsome, recieved lots of love from the girls. Being able to be able to be popular in Japan, he is of course in a great mood. However, in the eyes of the students in his school, they were furious because of the "privildges" he gets in school.

Recently, there were students who lodge a complain of Zaizai in the school he was studying in, Hsing Wu Xue Yuan. Saying that Zaizai have been skipping lessons, and that there were numerous students and teachers who were fans of Zaizai in the school, thus helping him to cover him up with not following the school rules.

Ever since he has step into the entertainment circle, Zaizai's results have not been very good. When he first entered Hsing Wu, it caused a debate and a blur scene within classmates because he could not carry on the next sentance from the famous poem "Chuang Qian Ming Yue Guang".

After this thing happened, it was being spread to China. The China media even gave Zaizai a nickname, "Bai Ding" (a illiterate person). Not only is he not in a good level, his pronounciation isn't good either. He would pronounce "Guang Mang" as "Guan Man" , "Wan Ju" as "Wang Ju". Zaizai was even happy with it and even poke fun of his own chinese by saying , "Shan Ni Liang Ba Si" (Shang Ni Liang Ba Zhang).

Before he enterted Hsing Wu, Zaizai was a student at China Gong Shang School. At that time, F4 was famous at it's highest peak and Zaizai kept skipping school. In the end, the school swept him out but Zaizai told the outside world that he "stopped school automatically". Reporters observed that whenever Zaizai was working in the studios and recieved news from the school that he had to do a post-test, his face would look down. Afetr he is out of school , he has to face the army problem, thus, in order to let his career go on, Zaizai can only find another school.

After Zaizai entered Hsing Wu, he still continued skipping lessons. Year 2003, there was once when students were furious and told the media the percentage of Zaizai skipping school was 1/3 and that his chinese marks got deducted even before he sat for it.

However, 2 years after it happened, Zaizai made people furious again because he skipped school. Reporters went to Hsing Wu, most students have commented that they have not seen Zaizai coming for lessons. And the staff at Hsing Wu commented in a very low-profile way, saying that Zaizai's skipping classes situation isn't as bad as what the outside is spreading. School has reopen for 3 weeks. For the first 2 weeks, he has come punctually for classes. However, he took leave for the 3rd week cause he had to go to Japan for promotion. Hsing Wu emphasised that, they have already communicate with Zaizai's management company, as long as he doesn't go beyond the limits of deduction for the exams, and not give the school any trouble, the school would not benefit from anything out of it because of him.

first of all... it's not a habit. It's an obligation. I'm sure his management had dealt with his school in the first place.

Moreover, it's college man!!! it's not as if they're in high school that attendance should matter that much. All it matters' that he's willing to study more... Few people as successful as him would continue schooling yknow.. Give him credit for that.

He did admit he's not that good and with his career, naturally, would make it more difficult.

They are just prolly missing him when he's not in school :p

The DVD is the same as the VCD that came with the Taiwan version of the book, except that it has Japanese subs whereas the Taiwan version didn't have any subs at all. That's the main difference, I guess. And of course it's has DVD quality.

BTW, they also released a Japanese version of Meteor Rain the TV series. There's still no HZL story (hehe, obviously), but in the BTS ZaiZai made a short introduction to one of the stories (just one sentence lang daw) which was done fairly recently because he was in his Mars-long-haired-Ling look. :D

Okay, the source of that article is a magazine under the umbrella group of Apple Daily. And we all know how “reliable” (yeah, right *rolls eyes*) Apple Daily is, right? It's considered a trashy tabloid in Taiwan. Not once in the past few days did it report on Zai’s Japan trip, and now they suddenly come up with this???

In the first place...
...the incident two years ago was misreported (if there is such a word) by, who else, Apple Daily and it claimed that Zai’s school, Hsing Wu, had forbidden him to take his finals because of too many absences. It took another reporter from another newspaper to doubt the veracity of this, and this nice reporter went to the school itself to interview the students and the principal. He found out the truth: that, while ZaiZai has a number of absences, it is not, and never has been over the school quota of absences allowed. In fact the students (Zai’s classmates) were very angry at this rumour. A few days later, ZaiZai turned up in school to take his finals, disproving Apple Daily’s claim. Zai himself mentioned in Taozi’s show when she visited him on the set of Love Storm, that the student who allegedly accused him has, in fact, been absent more than him! But these kind of rumours, once spread, get stuck in people’s mind, even if it’s already disproved. That’s why it’s being dug up over and over again and touted like it’s the truth, which is really so unfair and ZaiZai certainly doesn’t deserve that.:(

This article even poke fun at his mispronunciations, which, I can assure you, is something that most Taiwan youths suffer from. To tell you the truth, ZaiZai IS the norm in Taiwan, but he has strived to improve himself a lot since then. And they had the gall to laugh at him? Gah!:mad:

...excuse me, but are they saying that ZaiZai is TOO BUSY??? You know, I'd laugh out loud if it wasn't so ironic! IF he is indeed so BUSY then we wouldn’t be here sitting around waiting for his next project! What work has he done the last 8 months?! Unless it’s some secret project that we don’t have any knowledge of, then apart from dating XWL:p, he’s only got school to attend. And talk about error in getting information! The original report says that most of Zai’s work abroad is from Thursdays to Sundays, which incidentally is also when he has classes. At least, that's what it says. In actual fact, Zai’s classes are at night and on the weekends only. His work schedule revolves around his school schedule, not the other way around! If you look at this sched below, you’d see that there are only a few instances where there’s a danger of his work overlapping with his classes, but most of them are in the mornings, not nights.

First off I'd always admire Zai Zai for his determination to finish college! With his wealth, he can afford not to study anymore and continue his career as an artist which we all know is the most profitable career. I have a feeling that ZZ is the type of person who NEEDS to finish his education to feel complete. He values his education which indicates that he has been raised well. sighhh! much as i miss zaizai immensely i'm glad he has time to focus on his studies. at least he has more time for himself and have some semblance of a normal life...visit his family, go to movies, date (arghhhhhhh :p ) he's young after all. he should enjoy his youth while he's at it because that is indeed fleeting.


Sorry for rattling on and on, but I am so pissed off with this report. Oftentimes ZaiZai has to go to the airport coming from school, or go straight to school after just coming off the plane. And they accuse ZaiZai of NOT being a good student???!-grendel

one thing that zaizai NEVER lacks is dedication! given a task, he does it well and pushes himself to the limit...not to mention that he takes everything with all humility.

I've no time to read backlogzz, saka naliligaw na ako sa pinaguusapan dito sa bilis ng new zaiwan (pero mabilis naman ang pick-up ko sa mga bagay-bagay.. a zaicho is always a zaicho) kahit one-page lang ang madisplay ko every visit, gets ko naman how zaichos think. Mababait talaga ang zaichos, hehehe :D .

Zai in Japan...a first timer's report...

Figured since I wrote this in english, I'd post it in here too for those who don't read chinese or don't go to the Chinese board...Not terribly well written but hope you guys enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed being there!-

It’s been a long time since my first (and only) encounter with Zai during his MAW album signing all those years ago, and after missing him by a mere 30 minutes in Taiwan (a judgment error that I will probably rue until the day I die), it was almost imperative that I not miss out on a chance to see Zai in person. I still don't believe that I had to go all the way to Japan to see him...


It was truly a marvelous stroke of luck that led to me being able to go to Japan. What are the chances of there being an exhibition in Japan during the exact days that Zai would be in Japan...what more the chances of me being able to go to the exhibition (without my boss breathing down my neck, and all expenses paid no less!) and get to see Zai...in Japan?? It really felt as though someone up there was hearing my fervent prayers. After all, chances like this really don’t come everyday.



So, armed with a DV and tasked with the mission to grab good footage of Zai’s Japan trip, and the Parco ads, I reached Japan a day before Zai. I had time to check out the bus schedules and time the journey from Narita to the convention center area of Makuhari in Chiba. The Japanese VP fans I got in touch with all told me that Makuhari was close to 2 hours from Narita, and that really depressed me because ultimately I had to squeeze some time in to actually go to the fair and fulfil my work obligations.


Initially I wanted to give up, but the overriding thought was that I was more than determined to erase the ghosts of January’s missed encounter. I was not going to repeat being in the same country at the same time as Zai and NOT see him.


March 9, 2005 – Narita Airport Terminal 2
The Japanese fans arranged to meet at the airport at 10am to blow up the hang-held balloons and to hang up the banner. Even though I really wanted to be there as well, I could only target to reach the airport at 12:30pm (and hopefully manage an hour or two at the show first before rushing to the airport). Throughout the morning, Yling sent me updates on the situation at the airport, and I was so worried that things would go wrong and I’d miss out on seeing Zai.


I left the show at 11:45am and got on the bus bound for Narita. All the way, I could barely sit still. Thoughts of finally being able to see Zai kept running through my head. With a pounding heart, and keeping my fingers crossed, I fervently hoped that Japan wouldn’t throw up one of her massive traffic jams at the very moment. At the same time, as I had never met any of the Japanese fans before, I was also a little worried about being able to find them among the crowd. Yling sent me a message saying that Zai would be arriving at Lobby A of Narita Terminal 2. She wasn’t sure that I would be able to make in time, and to be honest...I wasn’t sure either.


Thankfully, I reached the terminal at 12:30pm, just like I had hoped. I rushed into the terminal and made my way down to the arrival hall. When I reached there, I was so surprised to find the whole place empty. I stood there stunned for a moment, and the first thing that went through my mind was “Oh no! I’ve missed him!”...then reason took over and I looked up and realized that I was at the wrong lobby. I had gone to B instead of A.





Five minutes later, I was greeted by a sight that was more familiar...hoardes of fans sitting patiently outside the arrival gates waiting for Zai to appear. There was a barricade all around the area, making a wide path for Zai to walk into the restricted area from the arrival hall. Policemen were stationed at intervals, repeating every now and then “Sit down please!” I still marvel at the restraint and orderliness of the Japanese fans, because everyone just sat there really patiently and quietly, waiting. Watching.





The whole lobby area was surrounded with fans, all sitting in line about 7 rows deep. Young girls, working women, even grandmothers and mothers with children...it just showed how universal Zai’s appeal is. 850 people? Perhaps. It’s hard to tell, but one thing is for sure...there were a LOT of people there, more than I had ever expected.

I scanned the crowd for a sign of the Vicpower banner and finally found them all sitting near the center of the lobby, about the second row. Having arrived late, there was no way that I could get in there to sit with the rest, so I had to content myself with hanging around at the back. Not being very tall, I was really worried that once Zai appeared, everyone would stand and I wouldn’t be able to see a thing.

Periodically, we would glance up at the board listing the flight times...watching as the status of Zai’s flight changed from Arrived, to Customs, to In Terminal...there were a couple of false alarms as we weren’t sure whether Zai would exit from the left or right side of the hall. Any sign of security mobilizing sent a ripple of excitement through the crowd waiting, and you could feel the tension and frenzy of anticipation build as the time dragged on and there was still no sign of Zai.

Then all of a sudden, at around 1:45pm, the security started moving towards the right hand side of the lobby...standing in a line and talking on walkie talkies. Sensing that the time was near, the murmuring and whispering soon gave way to wild screams of joy as Zai appeared.





I have no idea how I managed to keep sane enough to press the record button and film it all...Instead of making a beeline for the safety of the holding area, Zai stopped a while to greet the fans. He seemed both pleased and a little surprised to see so many fans waiting for him, screaming his name. He waved and gave a little bow, smiling shyly. It was a shame that his “fly sunglasses” covered his eyes...but you could see that he was relaxed and in a good mood. His hair had undergone yet another transformation, the copper brown tones giving way to a more subdued black. (Thank goodness I didn’t give in to my initial impulse to dye my hair the same colour as his, way back in January.) Standing head and shoulders above the rest of his group, he looked fit and slim and just downright gorgeous, as always.





I managed to get a few seconds of close-ups before pandemonium broke out and fans started standing and losing control. I have to say that Japanese fans really are an orderly bunch...they didn’t stand until Zai started walking towards them! ^_^ Which was wonderful because that gave me a clear view of him for that brief moment before they stood and I lost sight of him...





Frantically, I moved a little, avoiding jabbing elbows and flapping hands...and kept the camera trained on where he was sure to appear next. I managed to get more footage of his profile as he walked by, smiling that sweet, cute smile of his and waving to the fans. I lost sight of him altogether as the fans started converging on the door he was disappearing into, and I got shoved out of the way. Sometimes I hate being short...

It must have taken about a minute to walk from one end of the lobby to the other, but to the fans, it was all over in a blink of an eye. One minute he was there, and the next minute he was gone...but it was worth it just to catch that little glimpse of him...to see him in the flesh...to just be a part of the whole crowd of fans who share a common love for Zai...it was exhilarating and wonderful.













Almost immediately after he left, the entire lobby area had cleared. Some fans were getting interviewed by tv crews, but the majority of fans had disappeared, almost as though they had never been there. Pretty amazing...













I managed to find the Vicpower people, and heard from them that they didn’t get to see much of Zai, even though they were in the front. Perhaps it was a blessing in disguise that I was late and saw everything from a pretty clear vantage point at the back of the crowd.













As we gathered around the DV and played back the video, I heard someone comment that they only saw Big S...and I was like “Huh? You mean Big S was there?” Then it hit me...I had eyes for no one but Zai...I didn’t even realize that anyone else was with him, not even after I had replayed the video back twice! Yes...I was much to busy taking in every little detail of Zai’s to notice anyone else. It was only on the third playback that I saw Big S walking next to him. And it was only much, much later that I found out that Lai Ya Yen and An Jun Cai had also been there...













The timing was perfect coz I was just in time to catch my bus back to the convention center at Makuhari (and put in an hour or two at the show). Even though I had to rush off without getting a chance to even get to know the other fans at the airport much, I did manage to take a couple of photos and video clips for remembrance of the event together with the Japanese fans. I also arranged to meet Yling the next day for the press interview at Parco in Shibuya before rushing off.













In the bus all the way back to Makuhari, I just couldn’t believe that I had finally seen Zai...the feeling was just...indescribable. All I can say is, I felt like I was on top of the world...I couldn’t stop smiling...and when I got back to the hotel, I rushed up to my room and played the video clip back again and again...just to convince myself that I had actually seen him. It was so difficult to go back to work after that, but there was still the day after to look forward to...

i just realized it's been more than a year since I became an active forumer here in Zaiwan! a lot has changed since then especially with the new tsinoy but one thing that is a constant is that Zaiwan goes out of its way to be updated on ZaiZai. I give props especially to zaifreak and zashikibuta who do their best in updating zaiwan! both have very busy schedules but they make time to post...and even if ZaiZai is in this sort of hiatus, you can read posts of humor, of evident friendship, and plain and simple oggling fest over the Lord of Shuai! :D Like most of the sentiments of veteranzz here (now i'm a veteranzz) I miss the old zaiwan: *waves at backpacker, rsalv, daschazhou, brin, dyeng, shey, shanerei* though there are newbies here who post and they are most welcome, we miss your company...

as for me: zashi and zaifreak!! thanks for updating this thread as always!! your efforts are very much appreciated.

昨天，「風塵三俠紅拂女」監製楊登魁大讚女主角舒淇的好：「她在香港打拚很辛苦，黎明摳得要命，不會幫她什麼啦。」接著楊登魁努力介紹新戲，「舒淇演『癟三』的角色。」大夥兒面面相覷：「癟三？舒淇演癟三？」楊登魁氣呼呼說：「吼，我『狗椅』有這麼爛嗎？」哎喲，原來是「悲傷」啦。

「風塵三俠紅拂女」由帣N、姚采穎、黃曉明等人主演，昨天，影視大哥楊登魁成立「第一媒體控股公司」，姚采穎和新人胡宇崴成為旗下第一批藝人。楊登魁告誡姚采穎「假的給人看，真的擺家裡。」意指做藝人就要「虛假」一點。


姚采穎一簽給楊登魁，立刻出任「風塵三俠紅拂女」女主角，和大美人兒舒淇媲美；但這幾天，老菸槍姚采穎擔任戒菸大使，卻又頻頻抽菸的新聞在熱頭上，楊登魁訓了她：「妳好憨，到了外面，再假也要做出來，做得很美很美，啊要抽，在車子裡抽，幹嘛把菸頭丟出來！」傻妞姚采穎臉一陣青一陣白，點頭如搗蒜。

楊登魁入行數10年，閱人無數，他笑說：「啊女藝人都嘛要假假的，台上台下，要兩個樣啦。」至於女一號舒淇假不假？楊登魁衝口而出的是：「哈哈哈，不要套我，我已經不是８年前的楊登魁嘍，我不說，會得罪人。」

此外，楊登魁表示，會成立經紀公司，主要是「找人」方便，過去，他曾經找過「仔仔」周渝民擔任男主角，但經紀人使出拖拉術，搞得他很難過，「人要同等對待嘛，我以前對邱復生、葛福鴻（仔仔老闆）好90分，回報個60分我可以接受，但卻只有20分，我會不高興嘛，為免以後發生類似的事，我自己來培養新人。」

予告されていた通り、p8～11まで見開きでどーんと。最初が来日レポで、後半が「戦神」。展覧会で撮影シーンを見た写真です！ショーンとメーガンが映ってるのはめずらしいかも。プロフィールも掲載（何故か大Sだけ生まれた年まで書いてあって・仔仔の体重は70kgになってましたよ・笑）「戦神」はあらすじと主演2人のインタビューでした。あと、隅に「貧窮貴公子」の今月の見どころ。和夫パパと綾子ママの青春編は削られないのですね（まあ、あれだけ飛ばせばな）
予告では来週も「F4最新情報」と書いてありますし来日レポに小さく「ファンミを次号で完全再現！」と書いてあったので要チェックです。

4月発売の方に台湾ニュース掲載とのことでしたが、今回もありました。ページ半分F4紹介に使っており、さらには仔仔と大S来日ニュースもちょこっと掲載。F4紹介といいながら「流星花園」「日本でビューシングル」の他は「戦神」に「流浪夢」で仔仔びいき（笑）来日効果ですね★
これだけなら買わないんですがツボにきたものがあったのでこの雑誌を買ったわけです。

"Meteor Garden - F4 World" exhibition - opening reception

Four years ago in Taiwan, the very popular girl manga "Hanayori Dango" was adapted with great success into a TV series called Meteor Garden with real actors and actresses. The actors, who played the group of four beautiful men called F4 in the TV series, also became tremendously popular at the same time. The debuted their CD using the name F4. Their popularity expanded into Asia as the TV series was broadcast in other Asian countries. Now F4 has become a super popular group across the whole Asia.

One of its members who acted the role of Rui Hanazawa in the TV series is Vic. He came to Japan to commemorate the opening of "Meteor Garden - F4 World" exhibition at Shibuya Parco and the publishing of "Meteor Garden - Hanayori Dango - F4" photo album by Shueisha Monthly. This report is about the opening reception at the exhibition.
