I like curry very much because there was one time when I went abroad and ate curry in the hotel. That was amazingly good. Curry is also very convenient. You only need to put in sauces and ingredients and it can be very delicious. I am a lazy person so I always use the instant pack. My fans, especially in Japan, know that I like curry. When I was in Japan or else where for the promotion, they sent me few boxes of delicious curries. There were many kinds of curries, spicy, black, vegetable, and lots of more. I personally prefer heavy curry flavor. There was one time when I was in Japan, also in hotel of course, I had that kind of curry. I think Japanese curry is better than other places because the flavor is excellent. There are also some curry restaurants which I go often in Taipei. They are good too, with Japanese flavor. I hope everyone can prepare curry for me, packs are better. I like them very much.

This time to I-Lan, I would like to miss the old days, including the beach where I used to watch the sunrise. I want to go there, take a little walk, and find back the feeling. The weather is not nice now. I hope it will become better tomorrow morning so that the sunrise will be very beautiful.

I used to pass here very often before. I just pass through the house of one of my friends. He lives right next to the sea-front. His family is in fishery business and built a house right here. We are getting close to I-Lan.

This is my old school, junior high. We come in quietly this time because many people crowded and affected the classes when we were here shooting last time. We can take a little time to wander around today. This is the gymnasium. We used to play basketball at the gym if it was raining and we couldn’t play at the basketball court. That was one of the places where I went the most often. Do you see that building? That was the classroom when I was the freshman in the school. However, the building has been re-built, the classroom doesn’t exist anymore. This was the classroom when I was in the senior year. I can show you later on. The school has almost no change at all. I-Lan is still beautiful and clean, full of green plants. It has only built few more new buildings after my graduation. Now I am going to show you the place where I had the classes, a very secret place.

Students were naughty before. We were too. We sometimes liked to show off. During the lunch break, students usually climbed out from here, pulled there and pushed themselves up. It is a very dangerous action. It is better not to learn this.

Um…where is the classroom…everything changes…

School usually break the environment into some areas and classes in the school break into some groups for cleaning the school surroundings. Because my class was right next to the toilet, in addition to the classroom, our cleaning area was the toilet. Here is the place where I had the classes. Wow…It has been changed a lot. I sat here, the seat right next to the window, in the first semester. This window was open every morning. When I came to the school every morning, I got chocolate or love letters if girls liked me. If I came to the school too early, I always napped a little. I often heard a “BANG”. It was the sound that girls dropped their chocolates or love letters and ran.
They ran too fast to catch them. There was one time that I pretended to sleep and tried to catch them and wanted to know who they were. I heard a “BANG”, shouted “Who is there” and ran out to see who the girl was. However, she ran down to the second floor, where girls’ classrooms were, so fast that I still couldn’t catch her. This is a nice seat.

I have been waiting for too long…here…this is the place where I studied in my senior year. This is teacher’s platform(dais). I sat there in the first semester. We changed seats every one or two weeks. The seat which I sat the most often until my graduation…seems to be here…or here…Here is where I sat the most often. I had many good friends in elementary, junior and senior high. I made a very good friend, a boy, in the first year in junior high. We were very close. He looked very much like me and we both were thin and tall. I was darker then. He was a bit taller than I. We were very close. Um…I got a little feeling back about my junior high…I was too afraid of teachers, and I was too well-behaved. If I had the chance to be a junior high school student again, I would make a little jokes and would be a good friend of teachers. The thing which I impressed the most was in the English class in the junior high. We might be asked by English teacher to make an English speech at any time in the class. Well, it was not really a speech. It was more like to memorize the book content. One day I didn’t prepare at all. Our English teacher was not really that strict. Sometimes even if you didn’t prepare, you could always wait till the next time. However, I was joking and fooling around with classmates when I was called to be on the stage. Teacher asked me if I was ready. I said I didn’t prepare at all. He got really mad and hit me really bad. He kept knocking my head like this. I was even slapped on the face. This was the most memorable thing of me being a high school student. I understand that teachers sometimes are doing for students’ own goods. I got the lesson for my action of not respecting my teacher enough. However, I also think that nowadays we should educate students by love and patience. I sincerely hope that there won’t be any physical punishment and the relationship between teachers and students should be soft. After graduation and being an office worker, when you think of what had happened before, you will realize the life of being a student is the most memorable and friends made in schools are truthful. Friends made after graduation sometimes intrigue against each other. There are so many unexpected things in the society. Life in schools is when one should enjoy and cherish. Thus, I really feel enjoyable of being here today…I am serious. Thank you all very much.

This was the gymnasium. There is no change at all. I have a lot of memories here. We played basketball here in physical education class. Everyone had to line up and exercised a little to warm up the body. However, I always sat here, very close to this 3-point line, and laze a little with my good friends. I just recall something funny. This gymnasium is also a place for students to hold weekly meeting. On weekly meeting, there would be some famous people to give speeches or student groups to perform. We would be assigned to sit on the hallways on the side. The most special area was the center. The band was always assigned to sit there. My elder brother was in the band. I remember that my classroom was there, so I would sit there. When the band played the National Flag Song, I tried to find where my elder brother was and what he instrument he played. I looked and looked but couldn’t find my brother. There were to many instruments there, trumpet, flute…so many. I just couldn’t find my brother. I finally found a person who hid behind and played a triangle. That was my brother. It was a funny memory.

Basketball is an intense sport. When I was little, I was in a track and field team. I played so many sports and I was also a long jump player. I used to jump with my right leg before I got my right leg injured before the game. Then I changed my jumping leg before I got it injured too. Then I changed it back. It turned out that I didn’t have a good record on long jump. I was around the eighth place in I-Lan County. When I was in the elementary school, I could really jump far. I didn’t perform well. If I did, I could probably in the top 3 places. After then I started to play basketball. I realized that basketball required strong muscle. I was a good jumper when I was little, but I totally lose the ability right now. When my physical was at the peak, I could almost dunk. I had very small hands. I couldn’t hold the ball with one hand; I could hold a volleyball with one hand though. I was young and full of energy. I really can’t do it at all now…I can hardly touch the board. I was strong when I was young.

It is 5: 50 now. It needs another 10 or 15 minutes until we see the complete sunrise. It is getting lighter. Although it doesn’t rain, it is cloudy. It is still beautiful to see the sunrise like this. I hope we will see the sunrise, rising smoothly above the sea line.

It is about the time. Let’s take a little walk on the beach. The weather is nice today. The sea wind is not strong. The dog got up earlier than we did. It is beautiful. This is the most beautiful timing to see the beach.

It is a pity that we don’t see the sunrise. Never mind. Whenever I come back here, no matter it is in the day time or at night, alone or with friends, I always release pressures. So do I today. Although we don’t see the sunrise, the scenery here is wonderful. This is the way for me to release my pressures and I really wish to have it when I am in Taipei. I-Lan is such a wonderful place. The air here smells particularly fresh. I hope I will see the sunrise next time. It is a pity today. But I am contented.

Finishing the shooting of “Silence”, Park has become a “Taiwan-phobic”. In order to get more information about Taiwan, Park applied to be a member of Zai Zai’s fan club. She had an interview with Taiwan’s media two nights earlier wherein she was in high mood and disclosed that she just had ended a relationship.

“I really miss Taiwan and want to visit friends there,” said Park when she had an interview with Taiwan’s media in Seoul. She was very excited as if she was meeting old friends. She even had spicy fried rice cakes at street vendor with Taiwanese journalists. During the chat, she said she seemed to have homesickness and missed everything about Taiwan. Whenever she heard people speaking Chinese in street, she would rush to them to say hello.

At present, Park is hosting a quiz show in Korea, signaling her multiple talents in the entertainment industry. She disclosed that she suddenly broke up with her boy friend who had a relationship for 6 months without any reason. Journalists asked whether the break-up was caused by shooting in Taiwan. She waved her head and said “No way.” She said the cause was a book called “Norwegian Forest” written by Murakami Haruki. She felt very sad after reading the book. Her boy friend called her in mid-night and she asked to break up. Although she regrets her impulsive action, it doesn’t help. Korean men have strong self-esteem. Thus, if women want to break up with them, Korean men will not go back.

In her new role in the ETV’s 9:00 pm drama of “Spark Game”, she dates with Yin Shan Hsien in order to forget brother-in-law Jiang Chih Huan. She said most women would keep finding Mr. Right after breaking up with befriends, hoping to find a better man. To be honest, it is better to tidy oneself up and acquainting more men. The realy happiness will arrive after having several experiences.

She also mentioned that she wasn’t very happy about the media report suggesting that she was dating Zai Zai. She joked, asking the journalists not to make up stories because she will often go online to check news reports. Or she will never disclose her life to the media.

When shooting “Silence”, Park An-Hui and Zai Zai was reported to be together. After the end of shooting, Park could not stop missing everything about Taiwan, not Zai Zai. At the same time, she dumped her boyfriend for “Norwegian Forest” written by Murakami Haruki.

That is a book which makes people fall into deep sadness. When Park was reading the book, her boyfriend called her. She told him that they should break up. The words came from nowhere. Korean men have strong self-esteem. Although she called him the next day to apologize, he didn’t want to get back with her. This is how the relationship came to an end.

Park was interviewed in Soeul because she played a role in the ETV’s 9:00 pm drama of “Spark Game.” May be it’s because it’s late or her closeness to Taiwan. She disclosed to Taiwan media the end of her love affairs just two minutes into the interview. She added, “the Korean media even doesn’t know about it.”

Afterwards, she returned to her nature. She said that she would go online to check how Taiwan’s media report this news. If the report is exaggerating, then she will never disclose her own affairs. In fact, she often do online search by entering her name and locate reports concerning her, and even join Zai Zai’s Korean website in order to view all reports.

When asked whether she kept touch with Zai Zai, she waved her head. She said that she even didn’t have his phone number. Last time, when Zaio Zai and her were invited to be guests in “Apricot Protein,” she burst into tears when she realized that it will be very difficult for the two to meet again. This interview has been uploaded online by fans. She watched it and felt very “embarrassed.”

Vic Chou, a member of the super group F4, popular not only in Taiwan but in Asia as well, starred in Meteor Garden as Huazelei and made female fans all over Asia fell in love with him. He stole hearts with his large eyes, perfectly (my added adjective, hehe) proportioned face and melancholy expressions. He likes sleeping and eating and being the youngest of F4, is especially loved. Although he’s gorgeous, he has a forthright personality and comes across as very approachable and at ease. He is able to let anyone who meets him to be open and frank with him. Although Vic exudes a princely aura, he is down to earth and his favourite food is curry. Smiling shyly, “I received so much curry mix from fans from Japan I won’t be able to finish eating.” “What other Japanese food do you like?” Vic told us with a contented smile: “Roast meat is especially good, and oh, today when we arrived in Japan, I went shopping in a convenience store, and found that....อ่านไม่ออก is also very good. Vic, who has been straight forward and forthright during the interview interspersed with humorous responses, is affectionately referred to by fans as “ZaiZai”. Translated into Japanese, this means “little boy”.
This is what my grandmother called me when I was little. But I am already 25 years old. Although I may still be childish in certain aspects, I know I am an adult now, and I feel that I need to progress and mature.

So what is his personality like? He’s the youngest member of F4 and tends to be spoiled. When the four appear together in press conferences, he always manages to liven the occasion and atmosphere up with his smiles and jokes. And because of ZaiZai, other members of F4 can respond to reporters’ questions with relaxed and happy state of mind. “People around me tend to say I am able to liven up an occasion, in Chinese we usually refer to someone like this as..ตัวจีนอ่านไม่ออก(a person who is able to make people around him happy), and I have been referred to as a ตัวจีนอ่านไม่ออกtoo. Apparently ตัวจีนตัวเดิม..55 is a kind of food that can make people feel happy. Because I am the youngest of the 4, I can joke in interviews and be light hearted, and probably because of this, people tend to think of me as an adorable little brother.”

In addition to this innocent side, as an actor, his improvement is extensive and obvious. As widely known, when he entered the profession 5 years ago, he had no interest in the entertainment world, and was discovered by the producer of Meteor Garden coincidentally when he accompanied a friend to the audition, to become HuaZeLei.

In the beginning when I first entered this profession, I didn’t really have any goals to work towards as it was not something I had wanted to do in the first place. After Meteor Garden was aired, all of a sudden as if overnight, there was a lot of commotion around us. Thinking back, I felt as if I was at loss of what I should be doing (smile). If I can say something to the Vic then, I would tell him to be articulate with his dialogue.

As for Meteor Garden being broadcast in Japan again, zaizai blushes, drops his head and said “It’s a bit embarrassing; I somehow can’t bear to watch my performance”. Zaizai’s charisma comes from consistently treating people with sincerity and being genuine, unchanged even though he has already become a superstar. So which aspects would Zaizai prefer to be complimented on?

I have often received compliments on my looks and being cute/adorable, etc, these being more superficial aspects. Of course I am happy since people are sincere in their compliments. However I would prefer to hear people’s compliments about my acting, such as how I have acted very well in a certain scene.

Although he entered this profession with absolutely no prior training and foundation, Zai Zai is raising the bar on himself as an actor. And as a matter of fact, after Meteor Garden, Vic starred as the main character in Poor Prince, and he also showed his serious acting skills in Mars. As an actor, his improvement is obvious to all. Currently, Vic has a challenging role in Silence, which is being broadcasted on BS TV, as a young man with only 3 months to live. Being a drama series about a couple that fate has played a joke on, Zai Zai hopes that the series can show the intense belief about love. This leads to our interest for zaizai’s views on love that are consistent with his age.

What is love? This is a difficult question. I think it is about facing it with courage but this is not enough. I am not qualified to elaborate on the topic of love. (Smile) I think love is a topic that a life time may not be long enough to understand. Silence talks about obstacles to love, I am a person who dares to take on and face the obstacles around me. Even if it is not very romantic, I think some kind of obstacles to love may happen to anybody. I am a person who is loyal to my own feelings, and will not be influenced by opposing views around me. Other that this, I think it is important to be confident. If there is no confidence, everything will be difficult to achieve.

Ny aspiration is to be a responsible and reliable man

Although Vic chooses his words carefully, he still comes across as sincere and genuine with no pretence. We are deeply attracted by such a straightforward person. More importantly, his charisma is complemented by the masculinity that is increasingly emanating from him. During the F4 concert in HK this spring, as if wanting to be rid of his princely clean image, Zai Zai will show audience a sexy and bold performance of dancing off his clothes while he sings.

I admire men with marked individuality, very masculine. In terms of appearance, they should have telltale signs of age on their forehead and eyes. For the middle aged men, they don’t need to do anything except stand in front of the audience and they can exude their charisma. In terms of acting, my current exercise is how to project and express a mature image beyond my age through changes in inner expressions rather than through appearance.

Zaizai is concentrating on working concurrently on his debut movie and another drama series. So what are Zaizai’s dreams for the future?

I am actually quite greedy (smile). I want to try out all kinds of things. I want to challenge the roles that I have not played before. I want to play somebody who has been deeply pained, or try playing someone who is abnormal psychologically. Through books and reports, I know that these parts cannot be fully and effectively portrayed without the prerequisite good acting skills. So I hope that one day I will have the opportunity to take on this type of roles.

From his earnest and sincere attitude towards acting, I believe the day that ZaiZai can play this type of role will not be far. Lastly, in terms of goals as a grown man, Zaizai said a bit shyly:

First of all, I hope I can become an upright and responsible person. I hope I can be regarded as trusting and dependable by the women and everyone else around me. I will work diligently towards this goal.

In the Park

This is the I-Lan Sports Park. It was built when I was in the junior high school. My classmates and I came here often because we could play basketball on basketball court there. That was when we were so crazy about basketball. We always played in the morning, after the school, or even in the midnight. We sometimes played all night long. We were often like that. At that time, bicycles were our transport back then. I remember there were always tourists visiting here. Cooking Curry

Hello, everyone who is watching the DVD gets lucky, because for the first time I am going to cook curry on TV, just for you, those who are watching the DVD. Ingredients are ready here, including onions, potatoes, carrots, curry block, and butter. We are now about to start. Firstly, we peel onion skins. Onion skins are hard to peal. When ZaiZai is around, DaS turns weak

DaS and ZaiZai have been going out for more then a year, and have even rumored to have been engaged back in October. Everyone thinks that in this relationship, the male is the weak and teh female is the strong one, controlling and making all the decisions. Yesterday DaS was filming a scene from her new drama and it was a propsal scene and leaked out the "male strong, female weak" side of their relationship. The jealous ZaiZai who loves to keep an eye on DaS was on set as well as a visitor. During break, DaS was run to ZaiZai's side and suddenly turn into a little woman, being warm and sweet, telling jokes and whispering in his ear

On the 23rd, DaS and her costar, a male who resembles ZaiZai, were are Cartier filming for a scene of the drama. In the scene, the guy had reserved the entire store and brought out the ring that DaS designed and proposed to her.

The "fake ZaiZai" (DaS's costar) had to act sweet and play hanesome in this scene, but the "real ZaiZai" (ZaiZai) stood there watching the entire time. To make himself feel better and mark his stand, he went to watch the filming of this scene to watch over DaS.

When ZaiZai has kissing scenes in "Flying Butterfly" he said that he would ask for permission and let DaS know beforehand. Then whenever he was asked about DaS's cooking skills, he would always reply "Good!" because he was afraid of getting in trouble. This made the outside world have the idea that DaS is a "control freak" and is in charge of this relationship. But that is what the viewers see. It was said that whenever DaS has kissing scenes, she also must report to ZaiZai because he will get jealous and in their relationship, ZaiZai is the one who likes to play the "strong" character.

Vic's 'Silence' Autograph Event in Taipei

Even thought the summer heat was scorching hot, fans' enthusiasm was not affected by it at all. When we arrived at the venue of the autograph function, we saw many fans holding tickets and following the rules waiting for Vic's appearance. On July 29, Vic held a "Silence" pictorial book autograph function for supporting fans.

When the vehicle Vic rode arrived at the venue, fans' enthusiasm got even higher. Besides Taiwan's fans, you could see fans who came from Japan in summer kimonos to support Vic. The most surprising part was an Italian female fan went on stage to present a bouquet of flowers to Vic. The photographing session took place in Taipei in August. The stylist had prepared a Polo shirt for Vic. When Vic changed into the Polo shirt, the staff immediately asked the stylist, "Where can we buy it?" Vic is an excellent model of whatever he wears.

Seeing him nicely attired in casual wear, the photographer requested Vic to use the sofa to do relaxing poses. He then posed on the sofa and off the sofa. He also did a pose of shooting a pistol towards the ceiling. Seeing him doing all these, you couldn't help wanting to play with him in his world.

During the interview, as usual he was a little bit naughty and answered the reporter's intriguing questions rapidly. When asked "What is the thing you must take along with you on overseas trips?" Vic's answer was "My soul." Hearing of it, not only the reporter, so were the staff around, they all laughed. One day in August. As soon as he entered the studio, Vic immediately started to get ready in the dressing room. Vic's punctual, professional attitude has always been highly praised by the staff. Seeing the concentrated expression on his face, the staff didn't want to bother him. After saying hello to him, the staff returned to the studio to wait for him.

After a little while, Vic appeared wearing the clothes he wore while filming the DVD in Yilan. The making of Vic's Solo Photo book

The long-awaited 2nd solo photo book 'Vic Chou Taipei & Tokyo 4Faces' is now available and it was shot in Taipei at the end of July and in Tokyo at the end of August.

This time, Vic himself has participated starting from the planning meetings. To fulfill Vic's wishes of "I want to challenge themes and situations that I've never done before," four themes - natural, cool, stylish, and fashionable - are chosen and shootings were conducted in various locations and sets. Therefore, Vic probably had to put in four times as much as the efforts needed for one photo book.

Vic is not the kind of leader who just says "I want to do it!" Regardless of the situations required of him, he immediately and completely turned into the roles with the correct expressions required of for the themes. Without specific, detailed instructions from the photographing staff, he naturally created the atmospheres that matched the themes. The mischievous gestures and facial expressions seen at concerts and fan meetings may be what his charms are, but what impresses me was how he tackled the tasks on the scenes professionally, both as an actor and as a model.

Photos included here show how the shooting looked like. Based on the locations, clothes, facial expressions, and poses, can you match the photos with the theme? For details, please check the photo book itself which is already out for sale.

There is one more surprise for the photographing staff. Last year during the time taking photos for "F4 @ Tokyo," Vic would say, "Maybe it is because I'm the rain man." when the weather turned bad. However, this time, both Taipei and Tokyo had nice weather for taking photos. Even though it was still raining outside before taking photos, the sky cleared up once Vic came out and started shooting. "Quite an achievement!" When asked of "Maybe you are not the rain man, after all?" he replied merrily, "That is right. Recently I have given up being the rain man." (Laugh.)

Vic in Tokyo Tokyo Fan Meeting

On Aug. 24, Vic held his first ever Japan fan meeting in Shibuya, Tokyo. He showed up in Polo shirt and jean. When the images from his private DVD and photo book, both of which are currently available for purchasing, he commented in Japanese, "Vic, cute." As usual, he was being mischievous.

During the question and answer session, a long-kept secret was revealed in his confession when a mother fan asked him, "What was the most difficult homework assigned during school's summer break?" Except for the drawing assignments, all the homework was done by his cousin. Sensing his answer wouldn't be useful for fans, Vic looked embarrassing and apologized. Moreover, fans who were lucky to be on stages hugged him one by one. Vic said, "I feel like I'm the principal at some graduation ceremony (Laugh). I'm delighted to see the contended looks on fans' faces."

The game played was the 'Pop Up Pirate.' After the last sword was used, the black-beard pirate still didn't pop up. The staff hurriedly replaced it with a new one and the game continued. Finally the pirate popped up. The instant it popped up, Vic and all the fans cheered loudly. And, Vic made a curry dish on stage! Three lucky fans were invited to the stage. When Vic said 'Aaan," to them to feed them, the venue was filled with loud screams from the fans! Finally, 5 fans went on stage to sing 'Meteor Rain' with Vic. Some fans were so moved and cried on stage. The atmosphere at the event was very heart-warming.

He immediately started rehearsing after he finished the press conference and TV tapings scheduled ahead of the fan meeting. It's been two months since his last visit to Japan. Vic has become manlier within such a period of time. His cheek lines are more defined and he has a more adult-like aura around him. However, seeing him rolling about with laughers between Angie Chai and Wang ZhaunYi at the press conference, the boy side of him is still alive and kicking.

Act a role with life turned upside down naturally

While cute and beloved, Vic holds a hard-line attitude toward acting. He has been constantly challenging different types of roles in dramas, ranging from comedy to serious dramas. In 'Silence' which is currently being aired in Japan, he plays WeiYi, a competent businessman and an heir to a big corporation.

On one glance, he looks cool and proud. But actually there is such tenderness inside him that he hasn't forgotten the appointment he made with a little girl when he was little. Then he is struck by illness. It's a difficult role: The character is complex and moreover, he changes as the terminal illness condition changes.

"To make a character alive, I think the first thing is that an actor must understand the character. However, I think it's not good that an actor thinks that what he wants and his own mood should have higher priority over others'.

The script writers have their own thoughts on how the character should be acted. A director and a producer each have depicted their own image of the character in their own minds. This time I'm very lucky. How I designed and my thoughts on the character are not too different from others'. I was able to act a character full of drastic life changes naturally.

As the story develops, WeiYi's life has turned upside down. Accordingly, his love life also makes a 180-degree change. He has a cruel side, but on the other hand, he also touches people's hearts. One by one as it unfolds is the best part of this drama. I heard on the internet there are comments such as: after watching this episode, you will attach even more to him (WeiYi)."

ZaiZai spends Christmas Eve with DaS

ZaiZai has been busy filming for "Delicious Relationships," plus he needs to attend school every Thursday of each week to catch up on homework. Ontop of work and school, ZaiZai has to find time to spend with girlfriend, DaS.

On Christmas Eve, ZaiZai spent it with DaS's family, including her 80year old grandma, HsuMa, and XiaoS and Elly. HsuMa says: "Christmas Eve is best spent inside, to avoid all the reporters outside!" XiaoS also brought Elly for grandma to play with.

During the filming of "Delicious Relationships," ZaiZai would frequently talk to AlanKuo about cars, music, but he would rarely interact with Patty, making people wonder if he is afraid. The director says that ZaiZai is very serious about his work and has his own ideas and thoughts when filming. "Delicious Relationships" was supposed to be finished in November, but it was delayed due to some issues, but the director said that for sure it will be done filming in January.

Patty and ZaiZai kiss, she thinks of DaS

Patty, XiaoZhu, DaS and ZaiZai all have been linked together because of their serials that they have filmed, "Delicious Relationships" and "Corner with Love."

Yesterday, DaS was on Patty's show and during the recording, Patty said that when her and ZaiZai had a kiss scene, she would see DaS, so when they saw each other that day, Patty said that DaS seemed quite familiar.

During the show yesterday, XiaoZhu prerecorded a VCR tape and said: "When DaS and i have kiss scenes i get nervous, thinking what can i do, but i still need to finish filming." XiaoZhu was also said by the crew that he tried to take advantage of DaS, but XiaoZhu explains that because he was so nervous, before they kissed he would close his eyes, but right when he was about to kiss her he'd open his eyes, causing the director to yell out "cut!"

Vic leads 2006 HuaLiu (It means Chinese Wave.) with releases of his personal DVD and solo photo book. His long-awaited Movie 'Hu Die Fei' is getting ready to be unveiled in 2007. It looks that he will attract even more attention.

In 2006, Vic, a.k.a Zaizai, has been active in Japan with fan club events, a DVD, and a photo book. He plays an arrogant heir to a conglomerate in TV drama 'Silence,' in which he shows charisma never seen before.

WeiYi is a role with depth. Please watch the changes in him

"I consider WeiYi has great depth. Both his outward appearance and inside emotions have gone through drastic changes. At the beginning, people don't like him because of his arrogance, but actually he is kind inside. You will see the kind side of him in the second half of the drama. Please watch the changes in him."

He met ShenShen by chance, a girl who couldn't talk. When they meet again, his dormant kind heart gradually comes back alive. ShenShen is played by Korean actress Park Eun Hye who became famous from 'A Jewel in Palace.'

Zaizai at Beijing
A synopsis:

Due to flight delays zai was showed up around 9 and within minutes he appeared on stage. Press con immediately followed; and he was on stage for about 40 minutes or so. Tidbits were that he was waiting at the airport during the delay (what else can he do really...) and he rushed over to where the function was in harsh winter, snowing conditions. According to jms there he was very thin, and his hair wasn't styled much (i.e. his natural straight hair) and he rushed to meet the audience without spending much time on makeups, etc....He wore a shirt and sweater only in spite of the low temperature but he looked very good in this outfit. He also looked rather tired according to jms but still was smiling and joking around with the mc. I think that's it.

Zaizai in Bejing on 2006.12.30

English Excerpts of the accounts:

The organizer agreed to let us bring some people in first hand for the standing area which meant our jms would have been able to stand at the front row; however due to staff misunderstanding, people were allowed to enter the area way ahead of time so as a result those people were able to stand at the front row.
The mc was a pro; under these circumstances when the function was delayed by almost 3 hours, he was able to keep the atmosphere warm. For instance, he arranged for us to grab free posters, but because of that, people were totally geared up. HAHA

The Japanese fan there could read and write Chinese, but she couldn’t understand nor utter a word! So we were communicating with her via the “33 way”, i.e., using a pen and notebook, just like how 33 and 77 communicated in Silence. This fan flew in from Japan and was scheduled to leave in the morning of the very next day. She brought a dozen of one of the pictures she took of Zai during the Japanese baseball game in November. What a nice person.
There were a lot of guys and these are not boyfriends of Zai-mis. Rather, they came in company. At any rate, this strongly proved zai’s unisexual appeal to both men and women!

The mc interacted quite a bit with the 24 jms who got the reserved seats. He told us to raise our signs up and when he learned that we had a Japanese fan among us, he greeted her in Japanese.
Before Zai came out, there was a catwalk session that lasted for another 30 minutes. Of course we were too anxious to see Zai that we could hardly enjoy the show; albeit a splendid one.

Zai finally appeared on stage; and our breaths were taken away! Dressed in earth-toned casual wear, his hair was smooth without excessive styling; Zai looked gorgeous and like a cute teenager, especially when compared to those models! He didn’t look as skinny anymore as compared to how he was in August, and his skin was clear and shinning!

Zai was so lively tonight; he kept apologizing, and he held his fists and greeted us Happy New Year. The mc led him to say hello to the audience; again it’s his usual 3 gestures: waving both his hands, holding his thumbs up; and pressing his hands against each other when saying thanks…how cute!
Zai and the mc seemed to know each other; the mc had participated in “MARS and “Poor Prince”; their interactions were lovely!

We could hardly hear what Zai said during the press con. After the event, jms who sat in the front said reporters asked lame and pointless questions, as expected.
Summary as follows:

1) Is da S pregnant?
Zai: No, she really isn’t. Even I, who is directly involved don’t know anything about this – we heard this on news.

2) Will you get married next year?
Zai: No. If I plan to get married I’ll let you know; I’ll be very busy at work next year.

3) Did da S do any skin care on you?
At this point fans really couldn’t take such irrelevant and stupid question so we yelled: can’t you ask an intelligent question please!!?? Reporters turned around, and so neither us nor them heard exactly how Zai responded.

4)What are the promotional plans for the movie “The Butterfly” (tentative)?
Zai: This is up to the production company and my agency, but I haven’t heard of any specific plans and timing.

5) When will “Delicious Relations” air?

Zai: Sounds like mid of the year.

6) When will you release a new album?
Zai: All the songs were recorded and ready. It now depends on the agency and Sony BMG.

Patty doesnt dare to get close to ZaiZai, afraid of DaS. ZaiZai fleds reporters for DaS

ZaiZai and Patty are filming for "Delicious Relationships," but because ZaiZai's "real" girlfriend DaS would get jealous, Patty keeps her distances from her costar. ZaiZai also doesnt make any moves to talk to Patty, when he has time he would text and call DaS.

During filming, ZaiZai is very serious and into his work, having hardly any NGs. Being so serious about this work, he doesnt even take the time to interact with his female costar, Patty.

That day, there was a scene were it had to film ZaiZai walking into a resturant. ZaiZai only needed 1 take to make the shot okay. After that scene, Patty and ZaiZai walked their own ways.

Because DaS always sleeps until 12 in the noon, ZaiZai doesnt dare to call any earlier. He talked to her on the phone, and was heard saying: "Finally finished, so happy!" After filming, ZaiZai went to see DaS, but was blocked by reporters. To get rid of them, ZaiZai had to leave through the back.

i hope zaizai will soon recover... it just so sad reading that zaizai locked him up and i really felt that he is mourning and grieving for losing wei lun... we too was so sad and i prayed her soul to be rest in peace.

Yesterday ZaiZai was dropped off at DaS's house by a friend around 8pm. Because of "good friend" XuWeiLun's death, he seemed very lost and low in spirit. He didnt shave and was face was full of saddness. When the media asked him if he has contacted WEiLun's family, he quietly replied: "Thanks, i have asked a friend to contact them for me." ZaiZai is not admitted to see WeiLun

XuWeiLun's death has made a big impact on her friends and family, especially her exboyfriend ZaiZai ZhouYuMin. ZaiZai's manager has not kept in contact with him for the past few days, and is afraid that ZaiZai will one again fall back into depression. WeiLun's funeral will be on the 8th of Feburary, and on the 9th there will be a concert held in memory of WeiLun.

ZaiZai was seen at DaS's house the other night, and he was asked if he would visit WeiLun at her funeral and wake, and his reply was: "It's still in planning." Yesterday, ZaiZai and his friend were at WeiLun's wake, but ZaiZai denied entrance to see WeiLun. Because ZaiZai started a relationship with DaS while still with WeiLun, WeiLun's family and friends had to think twice before allowing him in. ZaiZai's friend first went in to give his prayers, and he also asked WeiLun's close friends if ZaiZai could come, and in the end, the answer was "no." ZaiZai was waiting outside the entire time, hoping that he would be able to see WeiLun one last time. When ZaiZai's friend told ZaiZai the answer, they both left quietly.

HsuMa, DaS's mother, was asked about this, and she replied: "Whatever, we respect their decision."

DaS had a presscon today (feb6) for corner with love. her questions all related to Zai : (just copy/pasting what i posted in barbie thread) DaS was talking about zai. she said that indeed zai is unhappy the past 10 days but he is healthy. he most especially regrets not having to pay respects properly to XWL. he's still not allowed by xwl family. reporters asked if the couple plans to attend funeral. Xu mama persuades them go. DaS will not. she'll just send something..(i didnt get that part).
