Greetings from Collectibles Unlimited!

It has been our pleasure to hold the annual Philippine Toys, Hobbies and Collectibles Convention in the Megatrade halls for the past four years. We have enjoyed four years of unparalleled success as far as this gathering is concerned. Almost 20 thousand people have been a part of this event since it began in 2002, and enjoyed the diversity of collecting as a hobby and the enthusiasm of the toys and gaming communities.

Now on its fifth year, we are gearing up for the biggest Toycon yet, as 2006 is the year of the Supercon, as we have chosen to call it.In line with the showing of two superhero blockbuster flicks, Superman Returns and X-men 3: The Last Stand, we are organizing the most awesome, exciting and activity-filled event of the year!
In this regard, we would again like to invite you and your family to be our valued guests for this auspicious event.

I hope you guys won't mind me sharing my sentiments on this special day.

Di ko nasimulan ang MG from the first episode pero lhat tlga ng friends ko pinipilit akong manood. So kahit mdami na kong na-miss, I started watching kc na-curious ako dun sa 4 guys na kinababaliwan ng lhat [tska di na ko mka-relate sa kwentuhan ng classmates ko kc puro Meteor Garden!] But when I watched it, there were only 3 guys! I asked my friends "asan ung isa?"...... Yup, it was Zai Zai who's missing. "Nsa paris cya kc cnundan nya c Chin" un ang sagot sakin. So prang ako... "OK" Ang di ko alam, I was missing a lot dahil cya pa ang hindi ko nakita...

I remember featured cla every night sa TV Patrol. Tumatakbo ako noon papasok ng bahay when I laid my eyes on the super shuai guy on TV, they were featuring VIC ZHOU that night... Mala-soap opera ang nangyari sakin *BADUY* pero bglang nag-slow mo ung kilos ko, I stopped right in front of the TV and just stared at him... na-weirdohan cguro sakin ung mga tao sa bahay namin but hey, he had that irresistable charm and he looked sooooo shuai [kahit payatot]... I can't explain how I really felt that night seeing him for the first time but I know u all understand. The words that came out of my mouth was "cya ba c hua ze lei?" That's how it all began for me.

Nung una tawag ko sa knya LEI... dun cya kilala ng lahat those times...Tapos nlaman ko ung whole name nya dahil dun sa mga cards that my young cousins were playing with... "ZOW-YU-MIN" I read... or mas mdali, his "english name "VIC". He was really interesting for me that i wanted to know him more. From reading his biographies, now waiting for every update that happens in his life.

I can't remember all the things that had happened after that but here I am today, still loving Lei...Tai Lang...Lu Ying Feng... Ling...Vic Zhou...Zhou Yu Min...Zai Zai...Xiao Min... =) It seems crazy for some people to love a TV personality this much but I do, we all do. I've gone from one idol to another... Brad Pitt, Nick Carter, and even Richard Gomez... :P Pero none of them seemed to ever be this special in my heart ike Zai Zai is. Not even close. He is not just an idol to us... He is............. how do I put this........... "The Prince Charming whom we [ladies] have always wished for to sweep us off our feet" I know it's corny but it's true --He is.

It has been an amazing journey and we have always been by his side sa lhat ng nangyayari sa buhay niya. No compensation but it makes us happy. He truly is heaven sent.

Today is Zaizai's 25th birthday, Xu Xi Yuan, as his girlfriend, will definately celebrate his birthday for him. Thus, she specially went out to buy balloons yesterday. Being in love made Da S who had a strong character to be softer. As long as she has her boyfriend by her side, she would even become a flesh and blood standboard to take pictures with people at Wei Feng Guang Chang. Da S's mom, who actually didn't agreed to let Da S get married this year change her words yesterday, "We cannot predict everything, it depends."

Zaizai spends his birthday. Even though both Da S and him had to film and go for other events, she still took time out to the 6th floor of Wei Feng Guang Chang's Tai Long Shou Chuang shop and bought presents and balloons. Even if Zaizai says he doesn't like to celebrate his birthday, Da S will still give him a suprise.

Last sunday, reporters saw Da Zai shopping at Wei Feng Guang Chang. Both walk the same route, and was generously shopping. Their way of holding hands went from ten fingers locked to walking slowly, holding hands, it seems that their relationship have come to a steady stope. They were all very nice and accepted people's looks and requests to have pictures taken. When Da Zai was having their picture taken with a mother and son, other than smiling, Zaizai would look at the little boy at times, face shown with love, it seems like their marriage won't be far.

In the past, whenever Da S sees a camera pointing towards her, she'll get angry. Now that shes in love with Zaizai, her temper became better. Xu Mama, who insisted that Da S will not get married this year yesterday changed her words when she saw her daughter so happy, "Everything changes everyday, most important thing is that my daughter is happy, so whether Da S will get married this year, that depends. I hope my daughter can be happy being in love with him, as long as she doesn't come home crying." As to whether they'll hold a party for him at Hsu's house, "The kids' birthday, they'll play themselves, i won't join in."

when i learned that this year's Vicpower birthday Book is in the form of a book/organizer, i thought it was such a great and creative idea! i'm quite a busy person so now I can use it to put in my schedules and take notes during management meetings at the office.

but I didn't know it would look like this.....waaaaaa! :D

errrr...now it's a bad idea...i won't be able to keep my schedules, it would be difficult for me to concentrate on what my colleagues are discussing during meetings much more jot down notes with this distraction...lol.

on second thought...hmmmm..meetings are boring! at least I now have someone to keep me occupied...*giggles*

Vic said that he doesn't have much ambitions and since becoming an artist, he has a lot of pressure. He is the type who would prefer to receive the cup of water when given to him and when fed, he would open his mouth type of kid.

In private times, he likes to play video games. "Once I didn't go out for a whole month and all three meals were delivered by friends. In the end, they thought this wouldn't work and so dragged me out for a car ride. As I looked onto the Taipei streets, I suddenly felt that everything was like a dream." He likes to drive fast which seems different from his sitting at home playing video games. He explained, "Not really. Both are things done by the same person."

He being the quiet type, when faced with Barbie Hsu, how does he handle it? Vic said, "That is the requirement of the show. Privately, she is not like that." Since he became an artist, he had no lack of girlfriends. Asked if he would enjoy a single life, he said that he was an emotional animal. "I need love. Generally, I'm very tired after work. I would like someone to comfort me when I get home."

Dai S in Ang Lee’s new film“色，戒” is the highest leading lady, boyfriend Zaizai becomes optimistic, but suggest s Dai S to first look at 張愛玲 novel, then can she be better. Zaizai also believes that Ang Lee would have appropriate filming angles, so he won’t be worried that Dai S might expose herself in the movie.

Ang Lee’s criteria for selecting the lead actress includes, “appearance, body shape and will power?”, Dai S fits the criteria. Zaizai says that he knows Dai S is going to audition, the two have discussed it at home. Recognition as an actor, being able to star in an Ang Lee film, means having an international opportunity, so everyone made the most of their audition. But after hearing this, Zaizai lost his temper a little, he said “This way of thinking is a little unrealistic! Dai S’s aim is no to become an international film star, also not for advantages or a fame. Being able to work with an internationally renowned director, being able to create spark, that is the main point.”

The 2 female leads in “斷背山”(Brokenback Mountain?) for their roles exposed themselves, in “臥虎藏龍”(Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon), Zhang Ziyi and Chang Chen had a passionate bed scene in bed. This time round, according to 張愛玲’s “色，戒”original, the female lead“王佳芝”has a bold passionate scene. When asked would Zaizai accept Dai S exposing herself in a scene?, he answered “I believe in Ang Lee’s directing, he isn’t directing a passionate film!”

Lately, Zaizai due to increased pressure, has severe insomnia, causing him to lose weight, accentuated facial features, body weight is continuosly 64Kg. When asked about the chef in “美味關系”, should have many good ingredients to try, why isn’t he getting fat rather than slimming down? He replied, “Although French ingredients is a small bowl, but cooking process is complicated, by the time I’ve finished I’m so tired I don’t want to eat.” Although suffering from insomnia, he refuses to take sleeping pills, rather just go on the net all night, making himself all too tired to go to sleep.

Tomorrow is Zaizai and Dais S first time celebrating a birthday together since they’ve started dating, how would the two be celebrating? Zaizai says under his breath “ we should be working! Anyway I’ve never been used to celebrating my birthday, because I never liked being a host of these kind of events.”

Zaizai's Birthday, Da S presents two pepper biscuit

Zaizai's birthday just past, what present did Da S give him excatly ? Yesterday, her answer almost broke the spectacles of people. Two pepper biscuits and a card filled with love notes.

Da S said, while Zaizai is filming Delicious Relationship, he have been having lunchboxes all the time. Since he was already afraid of lunchboxes, she asked him what he wanted to eat as it was his birthday. In the end, Zaizai said he wanted to have pepper biscuits. And, he doesn't want the big kind, he wants the smaller one, traditional type.

Da S specially went to Taipei's Da An Road to look for it. Zaizai was very happy when she gave it to him. Just like that ? Da S said, Geminis doesn't like people to give them presents. Facing the people's expressions who can't believe her. She said she gave him a card but she couldn't talk about the details. As she said, she even said, "I'm perspiring!"

Johnnie To Kei-Fung's films never have women playing the lead role. However uncharacteristic, recent reports say Johnnie To will shoot a movie featuring a female lead this year.

Xu Xiaoming, CEO of the film's investment company, revealed to the Oriental Morning Post that Johnnie To has decided to invite Chinese mainland actress Li Bingbing to play the lead in his new film.

The male lead will reportedly be filled by Taiwan actor Zhou Yumin.

A far cry from his famous gangster movies and comedies, Johnnie To's new film is an art house love story. Hong Kong Film Award-winning screenwriter An Xi has revised the script seven times.

The name of the new film has yet to be decided. Shooting will begin this August.

LH: They are known collectively as F4 -- pop idols who have been inspiring fan frenzy all through Asia since coming onto the scene in their native Taiwan in 2001.

Jerry Yen, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu beat hundreds of other candidates in a casting call for the drama series "Meteor Garden," based on the wildly popular Japanese comic "hana yori dango."

The TV series and its sequel became such hits that it made superstars of the group overnight, leading to more drama roles, product endorsements and a string of successful albums and concert tours.

Gentlemen, welcome to Talk Asia. Thank you very much for being here with us. Its good to see you all.

The series, Meteor Garden, that made you virtually instantaneously famous, did that come as a surprise to you?

LH: Right, and Vic how close is your character, for example, to your true self?

VIC: I actually feel like the four characters in Meteor Garden are quite like our personalities, in real life. And that's the reason we were chosen. I had accompanied a friend to the audition and was waiting for him in the corridor of the office. The light was very dim and I hid in a corner against the wall. And when the director was going into his office, he saw me sitting there and thought, "Why is this person here?" And then he looked again and said, "This person's manners really seems like the character of Hua Ze Lei!" So he invited me to the audition.

JERRY: Actually I think that it's just a television drama, not something that anyone should be taken too seriously. It was a bit of entertainment and escapism for some people. At best it gave some viewers something to think about.

VIC: That's Jerry's lifestyle! (laughs) Actually, it really is just a drama. You won't find many people in society like the ones in the show. Really, it's just entertainment, something for viewers to enjoy.

LH: Now all of you have sort of gone off, as you mentioned to me earlier, gone off and done your own work right? You come together for F4 and then you go off to do your own work. Why do you do this? Why don't you just stay as F4?

VIC: We don't really split up. After Meteor Garden, the four of us were offered a lot of other projects. And not all the projects were appropriate for the four of us. So we had to be selective. Like when I go to do a drama, maybe Ken would make an album instead, or maybe someone else would go and make a movie. We each have our own interests, our own strengths. I guess we all just got busy. But we always make time for F4. Like for this concert tour, we made an effort to clear our schedules so that we can do this together.

JER: (teasing) Actually, what happens is that Vic is always going off to make movies and the three of us would be left here with nothing to do. So we'd have to find our own projects... just to keep busy! (everyone laughs)

LH: Vic you were studying engineering. What did you want to do? Did you really want to be an engineer?

VIC: Actually there's a funny story in that. At the time, the reason I chose to study engineering was because of my older brother. I was lazy, and I thought it'd just be easier to just follow in his footsteps. Whatever he did, I just did the same. Whatever school he went to, I wanted to go too (laughs). Then in the third year of studying engineering, when we were about to graduate, I realized I didn't really want to be an engineer! I thought, why did I choose this course? (laughs)

In the end I think I was lucky that in my first job, I met these guys, the other 3 members, and I found them inspiring... All these years, I've learnt so much from them.

LH: Great. Was it worth it gentlemen. Is it all worth it?

VS: For me it is. I think so. I came out with three good friends, a career, you know, a chance to travel and meet new people.

VIC: Yeah, it's worth it. It actually hasn't really impacted my life. I'm the sort who would normally stay home quietly anyway! (laughs)

LH: What is the best thing about being in F4?

VIC: I think the best thing about being in F4 is the sense of unity that we have among the four members. I've never felt like I was alone or had to do a job by myself. Regardless of what challenges I face, I always have three other people whom I can go to for help. These people also inspire me to do better. And their inspiration has been what's helped me grow and improve.

At Zaizai’s 25 birthday, receiving fans efforts in wishing him a long and prosperous life, and has found a new work goal, this summer vacation he will give his film 「第一次」 to杜琪，coming to film a love story!

9th June was Zaizai’s birthday, fans all over the world did good deeds under the name of their idol, one of which 「仔仔動力聯盟」 initiated an activity「仔仔愛心工程」, giving 30,000 $ to 「中國兒童少年基金會」plan, and another 100,000$TW (HK$25,000) to 「台灣宜蘭家扶中心」helping poor children, Zaizai knew about about fans making good deeds on behalf of him for 4 years, felt extremely happy, thinks that doing charity is better than spending the money on buying gifts for him.

Currently filming a new drama 《美味關係》, guessing that he will have to work on his birthday, temporarily doesn’t know whether he celebrate it with girlfriend Dai S. Commone knowledge that Zaizai’s plans for this years birthday is to break into the movie world, because since the start of F4 until now, Jerry Yan, Vanness Wu and Ken Chu have already appeared in their own separate movies, leaving Zaizai the only one not to have one to his name. But, after his 25th birthday Zaizai dream will be fulfilled, because during the summer vacation he will begin shooting a love story, also it’s Zaizai’s admired杜琪 as the director, the film will start shooting in August, the female lead is still being chosen.
　　
Early 2003杜琪 asked Zaizai to guest star in 《柔道龍虎榜》, last year November杜琪 went to Taiwan to attend the Golden Horse Awards, Zaizai’s manager constantly met to chat, at that time杜琪 again asked, but Zaizai was filming《深情密碼》, finally waiting until this year August can they finally co operate.

Finally a chance working with杜琪 on a romantic film, Zaizai is very enthusiastic, but is not willing to reveal anything about the script or his role, 驕陽 films have not denied this “your right! In the future杜琪 eill be helping us direct a romantic film, (is the male lead Zaizai?) at the moment we can only reveal it’s a Taiwanese person!”

last school year, magkaklase kmi ni batchmate, ok i'll tell the name.. its saniko, it's dismissal time tpos d pa ko umuuwi coz dismissal time is chikahan time for busy students like me *wink!* haha! edi magkakasama kmi ng barkada ko sa room namin, then i found saniko staring at something.. he was in front of me.. then i stared at him. tpos biglang my nag flash sa mind ko.. after a few minutes of staring at him, i realized na kamuka pla nya c ZZ.. then i said to him " uy saniko may kamuka ka.." sabi nya " cno?" (w/ a soft voice just like zaizai) "c vic zhou, kilala mo un c lei sa meteor garden?" sabi ko nmn.. then he nodded.. tpos sabi nung mga kaklase ko "oo nga ano!!"
