Andy Hui mentioned about Zai and Silence on TV

Andy Hui made a guest appearance on Entertainment News of Pheonix TV just now and had mentioned some tidbits about Zai and <Silence>. Andy said Zai is a sincere person. He's very quite but his jokes are very funny. Also, he said that based on what he knew filming of <Silence> has been completed, including Zai's part. The opening theme of <Silence> will be sung by Zai Zai, and Andy will sing the ending theme for the drama. He also said that the shooting at Chengdu was most unforgettable.

In a separate thread Andy reportedly said <Silence> will boardcast in middle of next year.

Inside scoop 3: "Very exciting about the heavy snow" at the Sendai location

Because it hardly ever snow in Taiwan, it was the first time that Xiaoxiu saw snow, so he was really excited about it! Although Zaizai had seen snow in New York, it was still a rare experience for him. The first two days after they arrived in Sendai, they built a small snowman and played snow fight. They were having a great time. But on the 3rd day the snow continued falling. They looked at each other's face and whispered, "hope it wasn't snowing like this...” Wasn't it nice to get to experience both the fun side and the harshness of snow?

Inside scoop 4: The penalty for the game at the party was to act a geisha!?

The cast gathered together and held a party at the Sendai hotel. In the party, they played a game called ‘Chou Gui Pai’ (The game is similar to the Japanese card game ‘Babanuki’, ‘Gui Pai’ means the joker card.) The penalty for the loser is to mimic a geisha. At the end, poor Zaizai was the one with the joker. He begged mercy, "I can't do it. Please spare me." Instead of imitating a geisha, he was allowed to drink 3 cups of beer. After that, Zaizai, who was already pretty drunk, got so dead drunk that people had to drag him and throw him into his bed.

When they were together, they always behaved like two elementary students who were close to each other. It seemed that other staffers constantly commented coldly (?), "really, very energetic..."

Inside scoop 6: On the beach, some had fun, some took a rest

The location for the double-dates beach scene in episode 14 is the Kending beach located in the southern part of Taiwan. To shoot the scene, they drove from Taipei early in the morning; the cast had only about 3 hours of sleep. Even so, Megan felt instantly revitalized when she saw the beautiful ocean and beach. She played around and had a great time on the beach. On the other hand, Zaizai and Xiaoxiu rested whenever they could. They slept deeply in air condition, like two tunas unloaded.

Director Cai Yuexun rocketed to fame because of his work in 'Meteor Garden.' Xiaoxiu is the only actor with a contract with him. When Xiaoxiu was 19 year old, he was discovered by director Cai's sister on a commuter train. At first, he thought she was lying. Later, after Xiaoxiu talked to director Cai in person, he made his decision! Officially he started toward becoming an actor. Xiaoxiu has been learning the basics of being an actor directly under director Cai's instructions and you have seen his acting skills. We're looking forward to seeing him more active.

Inside scoop 8: Zaizai woke up the set!

Zaizai always came to the set in sports wear. Then, the first thing he did was to crack jokes to wake up people. One day Megan asked him, "We have stayed up late last night for shooting, how come you could start telling jokes from the morning?" "You guys wouldn't have woken up if I hadn't done it. Then, how are we supposed to continue the shooting?" answered Zaizai. He told jokes just for the sake of filming! But, it seems that they weren't very interesting jokes (Laugh).

Perhaps he's been to New York during his F4 days when they went to Disneyland for Lilo and Stitch.Wasn't it F4 had concerts in the US or something? Maybr they perfromed in New York or it was a stop-over. Not sure though, wasn't into ZZ much during F4 days.

hmmm, perfrume brand..honestly don't know. i haven't read interviews where he mentioned his perfume brand. But rest assured that from what I heard from those who met him, ZZ always smells divine.

I was smitten from that point forward.

what i mean was i didn't know zz much during the height of f4 since i was not an f4 fan, just zz. it was only after i got my pc and started updating myself here in tsinoy and eventually became a zaicho, where i can say I was really into him.

what captivated me about ZZ at first was his heavenly voice. even before he released his 1st album, his voice just stands out among the others in their songs. i couldn't believe that such a rich, deep voice comes from that skinny kid they call WACHILEY in ABS-CBN. i then started watching MG, listened to his songs, etc. and when Mars came out, i got hooked. :p

Now Vanness and Vic have finished their movie (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=292887#) and TV drama filming respectively, together with Ken, all of them are focusing on the group album and some training course of other areas. Ken has been going to gym, so don’t need to worry about him.

Some good movies for Vic are under negotiation (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=292887#). Yet it becomes a problem as Vic needs to spare time for his study, it’s too harsh for both Vic and the filming team if Vic needs to travel every week in and out of Taiwan. We are still striving for the best solution, will update you once confirmed. By the way Vic’s Pepsi fans gathering is coming this weekend, don’t forget to join and support Vic!

F4 concert tour is another big issue that fans are paying close attention. The original plan is to hold the concert by mid to end of March next year. However as Jerry’s filming of White Tower has been prolonged; it’s still a question whether the concert can be held on the proposed period. Hope there will be a clear picture by mid Dec.

The "School of Witchcraft and Wizardry" theme in this meet-and-greet event also came up based on ZaiZai's idea. The sponsors specially decorated the stage of the meet-and-greet and turned it into a school of magic. ZaiZai, dressed as a wizard, will descend from above riding a broom. ZaiZai's unusual entrance will make the audience present at the event marvel in wonderment. The theme of the meet-and-greet will have the opening day of the school of magic as its background. ZaiZai will be the headmaster of the school, and will select some fans to go onstage to take on his "stern" wizardry exam. For the fans to pass the exam by headmaster ZaiZai is not easy at all. Not only must one know how to "Disapparate" (to disappear at will) and how to be "immobilized", they should also know how to "transfigure”. Fans who pass the exam and "graduate" successfully will not only receive a precious School of Witchcraft and Wizardry badge which will be given personally by ZaiZai, they can also sign the "Graduation Commemoration Book" together with ZaiZai. Furthermore, a lucky fan will be able to win this "Graduation Commemoration Book" with ZaiZai's autograph signed by his own hand. Of course, as the headmaster, ZaiZai will also demonstrate and perform magic at the meet-and-greet. ZaiZai has practised magic and trained hard for this event, making every effort to give the fans a new kind of experience.

Tickets weren't sold externally for this meet-and-greet event with Zhou Yu Min, they can only be obtained from promotions through certain channels. The passionate response from the fans towards this meet-and-greet is extremely great. The 3,000 tickets have all been exchanged and redeemed early on. Lately, Pepsi's hotline was almost blasted with calls from ZaiZai's ardent fans, and fans asking for tickets to the meet-and-greet are countless, among them are not a few calls coming from Beijing, Shanghai, even Taiwan, Thailand, and Japan. Some fans who missed the promotion and weren't able to exchange for tickets even proposed to buy 300 cases of softdrink in exchange for a single ticket. Many fans also braved hardship and discomfort standing by guarding the entrance to the Pepsi office, inquiring about ZaiZai's schedule during his stay in Guangzhou. That the fans are this crazy is only so that they can personally experience ZaiZai's captivating charm. One can see that the power of ZaiZai's appeal is really out of the ordinary.

Ever since XiaoS announced she was pregnant, and got married, the Hsu's family has had luck coming their way. Just yesterday, the Hsu family has had another happy incident.

HsuMaMa laughingly says: "Ha ha ha, i finally got rid of my eldest daughter!"

In one year, the Hsu family has held two weddings, one for XiaoS, and one for their eldest sister, DaDaS. When witnessing their sister and daughter get married, the Hsu family cried tears of joy.

This is such a lucky year for the Hsu, so lucky it's unbelievable. Orginally, DaS was supposed to go to Japan to promote her Barbies Essence pictorial, but because of the wedding, she has postponed it. When asked if there will be a 3rd wedding held for teh Hsu's, hinting at DaS and Zai, HsuMaMa replies: "No, this year no way for sure. Next year we will treat everyone to red eggs."

Zaizai to become 'Harry Potter' & Play Games in Guangzhou

Recently, when Harry Potter is released, it immediately hit the whole world again. Just on the screens for 2 weeks, it have already easily hit US4 million. The appearence of Harry Potter brought back magic, even celebrities are using Harry Potter's magic school to do some new tricks.

On the 3rd of December, Pepsi star, Vic Zhou, would be holding the anticipated pepsi meet at Zhong Shan Ji Nian Tang. For the time being, Vic Zhou would be transformed into the principal of the magic school and to play magic games with the 3000 audience to spend the magical night.

From the Pepsi crew who arranged this revealed, Vic Zhou have always been a Harry Potter fan. This time, the theme of the Pepsi meet is thought by his ideas and opinions. They would be decorating the whole place into a magic school and Zaizai, who would be dressing up as a magician would be appearing lowered from the top. Zaizai's special appearence in the event would suprise everyone. The theme of the meet the fans session would be the warm opening of the magic school. Zaizai, as the principal of the magic school, would have pick fans upstage to go through his "serious" magic test. For fans to go through the principal's magic test would not be easy. They would need to know how to dodge, fixed and the curses magic skills. Those who pass will not only get the pass certificate from Zaizai's magic school, they can also fill in the graduate booklet with him while one will win a autographed graduate booklet from Zaizai. Of course, as the principal, Zaizai would be showcasing magic tricks in the event. For this event, Zaizai have been practising magic for a long time, hoping to give his fans a different feel.

This time, Vic Zhou's meet the fans session tickets would not be sold to the public and only given out in some promotions. Fans is very warm towards this and have already exchanged all the 3000 tickets. Recently, the Pepsi hotline have been almost bombed by Zaizai's fans. The amount of people calling to get tickets included people from Beijing, Shanghai, Taiwan, Thailand and Japan. Many who didn't manage to get tickets even suggested Pepsi to give one one ticket by buying 300 cases of Pepsi. Many fans even waited outside Pepsi to ask Pepsi staff about Zaizai's schedule. Fans, being so crazy only to feel Zaizai's charm, Zaizai's skills are really different.

The venue was decorated with lots of new photos of ZaiZai. ZaiZai made his appearance riding a small scooter (like those that children play with?), and went around the venue circling it once, so cute! As he came out onstage he said to the host, "Wow! So many people! Tidbit #1: When ZaiZai saw one of Vicpower's neon signs that said "仔你好甜~~~" (means Zai, you're so sweet!), as he read it he did it out loud, then with a surprised look on his face he said, "Are you saying I'm sweet? Tidbit #2: Performing the first magic trick, ZaiZai got two pieces of handkerchiefs but mistakenly called them tissue paper~~~. Then he started to do the trick. The first time around, nothing happened. Tidbit #3: Game playing. The game is "splitting image" - the person in front of you must do the mirror image of whatever action you do. Zai would stretch out a hand, and then extend a leg, he even turned around in a circle and then posed. So shuai and adorable!

Tidbit #4: When ZaiZai was playing a game throwing cans of Pepsi to the fans with his back to them, by the time he threw the fourth can ZaiZai said, "So tiring, really so tiring. I'd rather not throw anymore. You throw and I'll catch." Tee-hee~~~ ZaiZai very earnestly lobbed the cans to the fans one after another. He threw with both hands, of course it's tiring. When it came to the last ones, perhaps ZaiZai's hands were numb from throwing by then,the more he threw the shorter the distances get. One of them he tossed directly in front of him. (Those were empty Pepsi cans. But ZaiZai still went about it very carefully. He urged the fans several times to be careful, and to pay attention to safety. How considerate and caring!~~~ One fan was indeed conked on the head when she tried to catch one. Zai and the host both immediately expressed concern. Such a kind-hearted boy!)

Tidbit #5: While the host was explaining the rules of the game, ZaiZai stood beside him listening to him earnestly. Suddenly, from the right side came the voice of a fan shouting, "ZaiZai, you'e so shuai!" Ding! Zai -that cheeky boy- then turned around, widened his eyes, looked at the where the audience was~~ Haha~~~ he looked startled!!!! Everyone started to imitate the strategy to attract his attention~~~

Tidbit #6: While performing a magic trick to turn a flower into a small colourful ball, ZaiZai, holding a flower, asked everyone, "What am I holding?" Answer: Fake flower! Hahaha~~~~ ZaiZai said, smiling: "This flower...well, we needn't say it then if it's fake." When he put the flower in his pocket, he started chanting incantations. But the spells he was chanting were actually: "ZaiZai's so shuai!" "ZaiZai's so cool!" He chanted them in a soft voice and with a very intonation! Everyone shrieked and exploded with laughter~~~~~

Tidbit #7: The surprise gift for a Hong Kong fan who won the raffle is a broomstick. ZaiZai said that, "This is a magic broom, one that you can ride. Everyone knows that it hasn't been safe for me lately driving cars. So I've switched to riding broomsticks."

Tidbit #8: The game: they will ask certain questions, and whoever answers them first (correctly, of course) is the winner. There's an elderly man in the audience who kept raising his hand, but when the mic is given to him he goesn't even know what the question was. ZaiZai said, laughing at him: "Actually, he doesn't even know what it is happening. He just loves to raise his hands naturally. It's inborn."

Tidbit #9: ZaiZai is attempting a tongue-twister. It goes: Bai bu bao bai guo, bai guo hen bai bu etc, etc. It went quite smoothly. The next one was more difficult. When ZaiZai saw it, he said, "Actually, when F4 was just starting, as you all know we hosted a show called ABCDEF4. This tongue-twister was the one that was included in that program. ZaiZai reluctantly started to read. It was so funny! "He shang duan tang...etc, etc" Nobody understaood what he was saying! Haha! The host then said this one's too easy, let's read that more difficult one, and then went back and continued the first one that went "Bai bu bao bai guo..." Looks like ZaiZai's old problem still exists! Haha!

Tidbit #10: They pushed a blackboard onstage and wrote the tongue-twister on it for the whole audience to read. Audience from the right side went first, then audience from the left. Some people from the left side shouted that they couldn't see it because of the light reflecting. ZaiZai seemed startled, and then with the host, hurriedly moved the blackboard a little. Then he said, "Students nowadays are really the biggest. Even professors have to obey the students!" (Today's theme has ZaiZai as the professor of the school of magic.)

Finally, ZaiZai wrote his feelings on the carboard commemoration book: "This year's batch of the school of magic is very successful. Thank you, all. Wishing everyone safety and happiness." He kept discussing with the host how to write the word “届” (batch). When he finished writing he said, "I really didn't expect so many people would come today. Thank you, everybody. I will keep working harder and bring more good projects to all. We F4 will also work hard together. I hope that everyone will continue to support F4 (Zai seemed to mention F4 especially), and then was whisked away by the staff. It was obvious that ZaiZai didn't want to leave yet, he kept stopping, but the staff also kept trying to drag him away. When he reached the side of the stage he turned around and said once more: "Bye! See you next time!" and waved. ~~~~I am so, so touched~~~

"It's because I think current dramas should not regionally targeted. I want to produce a drama not specific targeting at a certain area. So, in order to produce a drama reaching the wide level of Asia, I went beyond the framework of Taiwan and gathered stars from China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, and Korea. Moreover, the drama is not adapted from a comic series or a novel it's based on an original script."

A love story of searching for happiness

Q2: What are your intentions for the drama?

"The title 'Shen Qing Mi Ma (Deep Love Code)' means that we each have a secret code (a code number or password) inside our hearts which makes our life meaningful. We discover the value of our existence when we decode the code. For example, a drama producer conveys his or her own ideas and makes people happy. This is one kind of secret codes. By the same token, a pastry chef creates a delicious cake which gives people happiness and warmth. This can also be called a secrete code. Modern people live in a complex world. Many have lost themselves. Through the love story, I would like people to have a grasp of where their happiness lies.

I'll be very glad if the audience can search and find their own secret codes after watching the drama. We're confronted with many frustrations in our lives. Sometimes we lose contacts with loved ones or even lose our loved ones. The characters in the drama encounter various experiencing various for the first time and start searching for their own secret codes."

A beautiful and sad code of deep love between a man and a woman

Q3: Please tell us the drama's story.

"The main character (Vic) is inflicted with a terminal disease and will not live long. He realizes that he has failed to keep a promise he made nine year ago and decides to pursue the memory of his youth. A beautiful and sad love story develops around the love and complications between a man and a woman born with different family backgrounds."

"Park Eun Hye who played the heroin can't speak Chinese. I feel that dubbing would make the drama look unnatural and the audience wouldn't be moved by it. So she played a mute in the drama. Park Eun Hye acted wonderfully in the drama.

Q7: What is the scene to watch out for?

"In Qingdao, the main character who Zaizai played prepares a Christmas-themed snowy room for the heroine played by Park Eun Hye. It's a very romantic scene. Then, he remembers vividly that they had spent a snowy Christmas together when they were little. After he grew up, the memory of it has finally returned. It is the scene where he's startled when he shows the snowy room to the heroine."
