If Filipino fans abroad can’t wait for the coming of GMA International to their respective countries, local fans on the other hand is eagerly awaiting for the coming of the newest soap of F4’s Vic Zhou entitled “MARS”.

About a year ago, news about a part three of the phenomenal hit series “Meteor Garden” which starred F4 circulated in Taiwan and China. MeteorGarden was also a phenomenal hit here in the Philippines when it aired at ABS. The project did not materialize but in replacement is the return collaboration of the original producer, director and two of the stars of "Meteor Garden" Vic Zhou and Barbie Su, about a love story between a silent girl (Barbie) and a young man (Vic) with a dark past about his twin brother. This series was an instant hit when it premiered in Thailand and in other Asian countries like Singapore, Indonesia, and recently in Korea it was just as big. Mars is also set to air in Japan and Greater China next week. GMA was able to buy the broadcast rights to MARS (also known as “Mars God” or “God Mars”) here in the Philippines and as early as December of last year die-hard Vic Zhou fans held a Pep-rally in a swank restaurant along EDSA Ortigas followed by two separate big Christmas parties. But until now fans are still waiting for news as to when GMA will air the series because there is still no definite date of airing in the Philippines. Of course Filipino Vicpower fans are envious of their co-members from other countries -Vicpower.net International Fan Club has chapters all over the world, because they have already seen Mars broadcasted in their local TV Stations but is yet to be aired here. Last we heard, GMA is set to air Mars this month so the prayers of Vic’s fans is for him to visit the Philippines as part of the promotion.

sinabi mo pa girl...:( naku! last year pa din kami ni Marzz nagta-try nyan. dun pa lang sa vicpower launch sa PGA cars, pero bigo dahil down ata ang system nila that time. they promised to have a separate registration...but i don't have any idea na talaga kung pano.

hirap umintindi ng chinese no? but am really planning to learn mandarin in the next month or so...bahala na.:D

Mars is also set to air in Japan and Greater China next week. GMA was able to buy the broadcast rights to MARS (also known as “Mars God” or “God Mars”) here in the Philippines and as early as December of last year die-hard Vic Zhou fans held a Pep-rally in a swank restaurant along EDSA Ortigas followed by two separate big Christmas parties. But until now fans are still waiting for news as to when GMA will air the series because there is still no definite date of airing in the Philippines. Of course Filipino Vicpower fans are envious of their co-members from other countries -Vicpower.net International Fan Club has chapters all over the world, because they have already seen Mars broadcasted in their local TV Stations but is yet to be aired here. Last we heard, GMA is set to air Mars this month so the prayers of Vic’s fans is for him to visit the Philippines as part of the promotion.

The third type of works is movies and TV series. Mother of F4, Chai Zhi-Ping, says that she is planning to have the four of them shooting TV series together. Zaizai says, “I watched the movies the other three made and make me want to in movies! I hope this year I have the opportunity to act. I’ve always wanted to be in comedies. But I’ll leave it to the agency!”

Cai Zhi Ping is biased, only loves Zaizai Vic Zhou? Meteor Garden . F4 World which would be held in Japan next thursday is obvious that it was F4 who shared the results, but only Zaizai and Cai Zhi Ping would be going. Streets of Tokyo have also placed more than 20 over boards with Zaizai's posters. To this, Cai Zhi Ping says, "Zaizai is most popular in Japan, his works and pictorial is really on fire in Japan."

Opening up the schedule of Zaizai in Japan next Thursday and Friday, Mars, Meteor Garden.F4 World's event, would be Da S and him doing the job, adding Shoan An & Megan Lai. Only Zaizai was the only representative from F4. So how popular is Zaizai in Japan, causing F3 to be neglected ?

But, Meteor Garden was obviously hitting Dao Ming Si and Shancai and that was Jerry Yan and Da S , Vic's role as HuaZaLei was only okay, Cai Zhi Ping said, "That's why, Meteor Garden plus Mars, these 2 promo events, Zaizai's role in Mars was heavy, he was playing 2 roles."

In the conversation, Cai Zhi Ping definately loves Zaizai more, However, as she've said, F4's reports were all released at the same time in Japan, the pages were equally big. However, some magazines did specific reports on individual, some like Jerry while some like Zaizai. However, Zaizai's works appeared in Japan more, audiences have a deeper impression on him.

Same pleasure as the original comic book

There is a girl who is shy but cute. Her name is Kira. She paints very well. In her class, there is a dandy whose name is Lei. He is hansome and good in every sports. Being a GP racer is his dream. The first time when Kira met Lei is unusual, so she can't stop thinking of him.
That is the beginning part of the comic "MARS" written by Soryo Huyumi. If you read this comic at first, maybe you will regard it as a boy-meets-girl love story and you may say 'It will certain that Kira and Lei fall in love each other and nothing more.' and 'Does it need to have 15 books for that kind of banalities?'.

But Mars is quite different from other romantic stories. Kira was sexually assaulted from her stepfather. Lei had a brother who commited suicide. Their story is far from the other love stories. It depictes how two tortured souls take care of and heal their hurt each other. Mars produced in Taiwan as a drama described the progress.
After Meteor Garden, Poor prince, it is another Taiwan drama based on the popular Japanese comic. Absolutely, the name of characters and situation is set in Taiwan. The high school students in Japan changed into college students in Taiwan, Lei and Kira also changed into Chen Ling and Qiluo.
Zhou Yumin who is one of the member of F4, turned into a motorcycle racer and played Chen Ling. Barbie Hsu who was ShanCai in MG played the role of Qiluo at this time. As always there is almost nothing changed from the original except that it is set in Taiwan.
Ling bothers Qiluo during the class,borrows some money and fillet from her just same as Lei did in the comic. Zhou Yumin and Hsu played naturally.
The story of Ling and Qiluo will be shown through the television tube.

It is glad to see Zhou Yumin and Hsu again after quite a long time. Nowadays, a lot of Japanese daramas have been broadcasted on the TV in Korea, but we haven't seen Taiwan dramas for so long. During that time, Zhou Yumin who was a pretty and cute boy became a man. He fully took in the character of Ling who stands out his strong personality. And he showed his masculine appeal on Mars. Hsu still looks young but she acted the different character from her earlier works. Now she is not ShanCai who yelled at Dao Mingsi desperately but Qiluo who has a long and lugubrious face. Even if televiewers did not read the original comic, Mars will give them great pleasure of watching it, including the comic fans.

hallo leianne! sarap mo naman, naka-tulog ka ng maayos. had badminton lang last friday...uhmmm...my weekend? hmmmm....what weekend? LOL! well, my weekend was tiring but fun. when you have 2 chikitings (both boys), no time for yourself talaga. but of course, that's my only time for them kaya naman mega-tired ako coz puro lang play and of course may halo pa yang mga sigaw sa kanila ng "hey, don't do this, don't do that." tapos meron pang "better eat this otherwise you have no candy as prize.." yan ang aking mga ginagawa pag weekend, plus do household chores. kumbaga, "tanging ina" ako pag weekend. :p tapos malling din with my family, that's if kung kaya ko pa, hehehe...:)

that's why i enjoy it also when i'm in the office kasi i get to relax by reading stuffs like these and just looking at ZZ's shuai pix, grabe, okay na ako...bwahaha! :o

Japan turned out to be a Zai Zai country. Japanese have good taste. Too bad the Philippines did not turned out that way except for Zaichos.

two updates:

1. 流星流星 posted that the flight number on 3/9 should be BR2198, leaving Taipei at 9:00 and arriving Tokyo at 12:55.

BR2198 is probably right; its schedule matches what has been announced by f4.tv mail magazine.
ft.tv knows that some fans plan to welcome Zaizai at the airport. If Zaizai will arrival at a different time, ft.tv should make an announcement. So far ft.tv hasn't issued anything.

2. nhumy posted in the fan club that the internet radio Tokyo FM we can hear via media player is a recorded program, not live stream.

BTW, it's because this radio program that milky figures out, before peggypeggy, where the Mars fan meeting will most likely be held. Even though the location of the fan meeting has not been officially announced, she has been guessing it will be held at Parco Quattro. There's only half an hour to spare between the end of the fan meeting and the start of the radio program, so the location of the fan meeting must be really close to Spain Zaka.

She also checked the schedule of Shibuya club Quattro (http://www.net-flyer.com/s/live_search_place.php3?search=place&area=%B4%D8%C5%EC;%C5%EC%B5%FE;%BF%C0%C6%E0%C0%EE;%BA%EB%B6%CC;%C0%E9%CD%D5;%B0%F1%BE%EB;%C6%CA%CC%DA;%B7%B2%C7%CF&house_id=1).
