On the Golden Bell Awards nominee list, to everyone's surprise Alan Luo (Xiao Zhu) was nominated as the Best Male Lead for his role in "The Outsiders II," but Vic Chou (Zai Zai) and Lan Zheng Leng, who everyone had high expectations for, didn't make the list. Yesterday a judge revealed that Xiao Zhu's undercover cop role was very rich and his character was deep. Lan Zheng Leng's overall performance fell short, his role was at a disadvantage. As for ZZ, "Was never discussed," and his "speech didn't express enough!"

Idol war
The drama categories for the Golden Bell Awards have been put on hold but list that had been announced has caused people in the circle to pay close attention. The majority of idol dramas, which usually receives high ratings, were not considered, except in the "Drama Program" category, "Say Yes Enterprise," directed by Niu Cheng Ze and in the "Male Lead" category Xiao Zhu represents young idols.

Lan lacked layers
Xiao Zhu plays an undercover cop in "The Outsiders II." His character was quiet but he many emotions inside. Although it's his first time playing a leading role, but the judges believe that a "performance that is able grasp two personalities is more mature." The originally favored Lan Zheng Long was counting on his role in "Say Yes Enterprise" and "Blazing Courage" but both were taken away by Xiao Zhu.

The judges think that Lan Zheng Leng's role in "Say Yes Enterprise" was better than "Blazing Courage." In "Say Yes Enterprise" he and his ex-girlfriend Barbie Hsu (Da S) portrayed a couple. Later Da S dies from a car accident and he's devastated and also vented out by shaving his head. Many spectators were touched by this scene.

But judges say, "Lan Zheng Long was indeed discussed but perhaps the way his role was presented was a bit different from Xiao Zhu. He didn't have enough layers."

For the drama nomination list for the Golden Bell Awards the committee of judges had all reached a consensus and insisted to have at least one idol drama to encourage the development of idol dramas in Taiwan and walk away from Taiwan's representation. The candidates in the end were Lee Wei, Li Kang Yi, Niu Cheng Ze, and others that acted in "Say Yes Enterprise" and Vic Chou (Zai Zai) and Barbie Hsu (Da S) who acted in "Mars." "Mars" became the biggest lost pearl, losing by one vote.

Judges reveal
"Mars" was adapted from a Japanese manga and was directed by Golden Bell Award winning director Cai Yue Xun. Producer Angie Cai also spent lots of money to send the drama crew over to Japan to film racing scenes. Although after its broadcast the ratings weren't high, it was praised by the world. But they were completely annihilated from the nomination list.

Yesterday judges revealed that "Say Yes Enterprise" only won "Mars" by one vote. The reason was because "Say Yes Enterprise"'s script is an original Taiwan script while "Mars" was adapted from a Japanese manga. "Say Yes Enterprise" won by one vote because they wanted to encourage originality.

Director's technique added points
Furthermore, Niu Cheng Ze's directing techniques were very detailed, including more, therefore giving it another plus.

"Say Yes Enterprise" has seven stories starring Vanness Wu, Wu Bai, Da S, Xiao S, Lan Zheng Leng, He Jun Xiang, Liu Ming Jun and other idols. The story is about a group of young people trying their best to fulfill the love wishes of people around them. The judges also mentioned that for the two dramas, the actors' performances were very average as a whole.

Admitted naman ng camp ni ZZ yun but that was when he was just starting. He has greatly improved. Whatever flaws he has in speaking Mandarin was not noticeable in MARS. That was what our Mandarin speaking clients told me.

I share your sentiments zaichos. I don't understand why ZZ wasn't nominated. not even Barbie. I was really moved with the way they acted. Talagang mafifeel mo yung drama. Pero bat ganon. di nanominate. :( *sigh* so NOT fair.

The first hu dong movie's dart is shot at Supergirl, Li Yu Chun, while the fliming crew have found her 2 handsome hunks, Zhang Zheng and Vic Zhou. One would be playing a cool guy while the other one is a gentle type.

They revealed that, they didn't announced the news earlier because they have not sign the contract while Zhang Zheng and Vic Zhou were negotiating for a long time. The show would arrange for a scene for the male and female lead to be intimate. As to whether is it Zhang Zheng or Zaizai, they'll keep in secret for the time being. However, if Li Yu Chun were to really act in the show, they will have to handle it carefully as she might mind being a freshie.

...maybe because they did not spare a little time in watching it or
...maybe because they were afraid it will get most of the major
awards once it is nominated...
...I agree that it is a wonderful story and the actors were all
great in portraying their roles.
.. so what we could do is to vote for it in the Most Popular Drama
category to show them how much the audience love and appreciate Mars.
In this way, they shall notice it for what it's worth.

zhang zheng is an actor from Taiwan.

Have you watched the movie, "Crouching Tiger and Hidden Dragon"?

He is the tiger in the movie, i.e. the last Chinese character in the Chinese name of the role he played is "tiger" (虎 pronounced as hu).

But I think this is all just publicity.

Zaizai shoots a film in China while attending school. Very slim chance.
If he does participate in the movie, he probably has a minor role.
He has been screening scripts for his first movie.
I don’t think the story would sound very appealing to him.

The reporter has checked with both actors' managers.

Zhang Zheng manager says that they are discussing.

Maybe there's truth to it...they really did not watch MARS in it's entirety.

Isn't it it was reported that ZZ is choosing the script for his first movie carefully? From the looks of it, I doubt that kind of movie would be zz's first flick.

As for that supposed actress who will star opposite zz, nye!! e lamang pa ako ng marami-raming paligo doon. payat lang yon. from her look alone, she's not apt for zz. aesthetically, zz's partner should have at least pleasing looks. e nakakatakot naman yon! :eek:

Supergirl hot on heels. The first China's hu dong movie have fixed the female lead on Supergirl's champion, Li Yu Chun. They even found Zhang Zheng and Zaizai Vic Zhou, these 2 hunks to act along with her. Zhang Zheng's manager, Dong Bao Xu have admitted that both sides were negotiating. However, Zaizai's manager, Zhi Xiang Li expressed, "Haven't heard of such a thing."

The movie team emphasised that they didn't release the news of getting Li Yu Chun to act in the show because they have not officially signed the papers. Zaizai releases Album, Japan fans looking foward

Japan is now blowing the Taiwanese trend wave. Taiwanese boyband F4 who had great results in the Japanese industry, Zaizai, Vic Zhou, would be releasing his first album, Make A Wish in Japan on the 19th. This made many Japanese fans looked foward and wondered if it would beat the Japanese heavenly kings and queens and to create another miracle.

Taiwan's idol drama Meteor Garden is popular in Japan and it brought the start of broadcast of many other Taiwanese dramas in Japan. There is even a magazine which specially introduces Taiwanese people. This years autumn Japanese drama which starrs many new handsome hunks would be competeing with Taiwan's F4.

Although car accidents and relationship have been exposed with Da S for Zaizai recently, his release of album in Japan made fans excited as well. The Japanese media titled him, "Youngest of F4", "The gentle and quiet Hua Zhe Lei in Meteor Garden", "Prince Charming look-alike". In the Make A Wish album going to be released in Japan, it also includes songs from Lai Wo Jia Ba and Poor Prince and another 10 songs.

During year 94 Jin Zhong award's website for the most popular drama, as Mars, acted by Da S and Zaizai have been leading the votes. However, when the nominations were announced, they didn't get nominated before. Director Cai Yue Xuan and his wife were shouting wasted for him, unbelievable that Zaizai wasn't nominated.

Mars was edited from a Japanese manga and directed by Cai Yue Xuan. Producer, Cai Zhi Ping even invested millions to flim at Japan's Xian Tai's outdoor scenes. Mars was actually being thought as the most popular thing including the lead actor and actress , Zaizai and Da S. Drama variety shows, Director and the outside world all saw that Zaizai and Da S would walk down the red carpet together.

However, when the nomination list was announced, Mars was empty, they was not even nominated for one award. The thing that Director Cai and his wife couldn't stand was that Zaizai wasn't even nominated.

In Mars, Zaizai plays 2 roles, one who loves drawing and the other who loves racing. This, to Zaizai, who is already closed to himself and lagging is a big challenge to him. In the show, Zaizai is labelled as a walking shen zhi qi. In order to hide the soft side of him, it became hard for him to show his "wanderer" side. However, he still managed to hit the Director's request and he managed to stop the joke that everyone have been talking about these years for his wrong pronounciation of words.

Cai Yue Xuan finds that Zaizai has rather high level of acting skills in Mars, the high life spirits that he shows in the show leaves an impression. They find that everyone can don't be nominated but not Zaizai.

A judge from a TV station divulged a few days ago that 'Mars', adapted from a Japan manga, failed to make the nomination list by losing one vote to 'Say Yes Enterprise' because the latter is based on locally created original script. But Azio TV's 'Leng Zhi Shi Hong Pa,' a show boasted of buying Japanese copyrighted stuff, is nominated for best variety show! 'Leng Zhi Shi' host Hei Ren admitted that it indeed looked controversial.

This year, Hei Ren has the momentum with him. He is nominated for best supporting actor for his role in Public TV's 'Zai Jian Zhong Zhen Er Cun'. 'Leng Zhi Shi' which he hosted also makes the list of best variety shows. Although the show has been terminated, he said excitingly last night that he planned to use the Golden Bell to reverse the fortune and resurrect the show.

When asked about that 'Mars' fails to be nominated because it's not based on a locally created script whereas 'Leng Zhi Shi' is nominated even though it is not an originally created show, he laughed awkwardly, "It looks controversy if using the same criterion. But the show has already been nominated, it's not appropriate for me to say anything." Rumor has it that he is not paid for hosting the show. But he strongly denied it.

[10/17] Da Zai Lian gets more Support from Online Fans than Da Lan Lian

They even expressed, "I really don't want them to break up, not just like Lan Zhenglong, once they breakup , they won't work together." Yesterday was the end of voting for this year's Jin Zhong award "Year's best drama". Online votes were that Mars was first.

Yesterday, many fans of Mars and Zaizai Jia Zu all posted and said hoping that everyone would support Da Zai Pei and to quickly cast their votes. Compared to Da Lan Lian which wasn't seen good, Da Zai Lian was getting lots of support. Online fan, Mayo said, "If they continue to go steady, there'll be chances that they will work together, hopefully it is like that!" Although there was someone who finds that Da S isn't the kind who won't work with the person if she breaks up with him, "clever kid" replied, "You think she would work with Lan Zhenlong again ?"

Mars is not re-broadcasted in Ba Da. Although Mars has no fate with Jin Zhong awards, ratings went up one level when it was re-broadcasted. It went up to 0.5 from 0.2 . Mars and Dou Yu 2 were from Ba Da, Huo Xian Ren Wu were all under the favourites list. These 3 were fighting up and down. Ba Da expressed that they would not specially start up their people to vote, they hope it would really bring out the audience's voices.

Up till yesterday, not in line, Mars, Dou Yu 2. Huo Xian Ren Wu, Ge Dou Tian Wang & Ai Qing He Yue were among the year's most popular drama.

The online poll for the 94th Annual Golden Bell Awards’ “Most Popular TV Series” has ended the day before yesterday. “Mars”, starring Da S and ZaiZai, leads the Guo PinChao, Luo ZhiXiang and An YiXuan starrer “The Outsiders II” by 5,000 votes. The results from the online voting will be tallied with the “Da Cheng Bao” postcards sent in by readers, and the number of total votes and the top 5 vote getters will then be announced on the 20th. The judges for the Golden Bell Awards will evaluate them and select a winner. The award will be presented on the day of the awarding ceremony on November 12.

They were so unfair! From the start, they should have set criterias already. If god mars is not an original Taiwanese script, then they should have disqualified it beforehand. For me, they dont have any plans recognizing god mars as a great series. They just used the fans so there will be people voting on-line..

The first to lead the way releasing solo albums was Vic. He has already released two albums. He is the youngest among F4, but is the senior in debuting solo albums, compared to the other 3 members. Vic albums challenged a wide range of music, from ballads, which seems to be the rule of right for Taiwan pops music, to rock, and even R&B.

By the way, their solo albums are planned to be released in Japan too. It has been decided that as early as October, Vic's album, 'Make A Wish,' will go on the market.

I have liked Zaizai for more than 3 years. I like Hua Ze Lei in manga 'Hana Yori Dango'. When I knew that a real-person version of it was aired in Taiwan, I started searching on the Internet. Large eyes, well-featured mouth, shapely nose and handsome features and a smiling face full of gentleness. He impressed me strongly as someone jumping out of girl mangas. I fell in love at the first sight. From then on, I thought of F4 daily day and night. The first thing I watched was 'Poor Prince.' Seeing Zaizai continuously looking so cute that you couldn't help wanting to take him home with you that I realized there was no return for me.

As for Zaizai's charming points, first of all, he is so out-of-this-world good looking. The real person is so gorgeous, many times better-looking than what you see on TV; especially he has such strong eye power. Just gazing at him, you feel healed and at peace.

He is such a nice person that nothing can be complained of. There is a line in the 'Poor Prince,', 'You're really a kind person,' which is exactly what Zaizai himself is. Even though his hands were injured at the time when the function for stamping photo books was held, he still shook hands with all the fans with his hands in casts. It snowed heavily at the Mars filming location, Sendai. In the fiercely cold weather, he wore a racing-rider suit and came out to greet the fans in Japanese. Facing the extras and standing behind director Cai, he assumed the role of cheering everyone. I was moved by the look of him cheering and rooting for us.

Acting capability is also one of his charms. So far he has been acting in different roles; you get to enjoy different faces of Zaizai. If you want to see a cute Zaizai, watch 'Poor Prince.' If you want to see a tough Zaizai, watch 'Love Storm.' When the counting started '5, 4,...' at filming set, Zaizai who was still smiling and joking up until that point immediately became serious. Instantly he was immersed in the role he was acting. You feel that there is an actor's soul inside Zaizai. Last but not least, the voice, his deep voice is very soothing to the mood. It calms you down when you hear Zaizai's songs.

My favorite scene based on my own subjective and biased point of view is Hua Zelei's driving scene in Meteor Garden II since Zaizai likes cars a great deal.

The scene was really short. However, you get to see the real Zaizai for an instant, so do don't miss it. I also recommend Lu Yingfeng in 'Love Storm!' When he used his foot to stop the bike, he looked so manly. He looked very cute with his hair disheveling and with candy in his mouth. For Mars, it is the twin brother Sheng who has few scenes in it. He looked so transient and fleeting that your heart is suffocated and feel like crying for him. Of course, the unforgettable 'Fantasy 4ever,' Zaizai waved the sunflower in his hand singing 'Can't Lose You.'. And Zaizai did box dancing while singing Andy Lau's song; he looked to be in such terrible agony and was about to faint but yet so cute. Zaizai is so nice that everything seems okay with him. I couldn't help smiling at how Ken cooked and looked after Zaizai. I'm looking forward to many more from Zaizai in the future. I'm waiting for the day to meet him in Japan in some event functions.

Hsing Wu School Celebrations , Zaizai still did not attend

Hsing Wu Institution where many stars gather, the topic person, Zaizai, still did not appear. by the way just a clarification, the peeps here are known as zaichos, while zz's thread is otherwise known as zaiwan. ika nga the country is zaiwan while its citizzens are called zaichos. getzz?
