Love Storm, which made the whole Asia crazy one year ago, will be storming its way into Rong Cheng tonight. Zaizai would call and chat with Vanness as and when, but Vanness just wasn't moved to get the role.

Because of a car accident, Da Zai Lian have been exposed. Da S and Zaizai's way of being in a relationship have changed for a more courageous way! According to reporters who saw it, he treats Xu's house as his own, and stayed overnight the day before. For his convenience, but it caused inconvenience for Xu's house, the whole family has nothing to eat!

Zaizai and Da S is hot in love, they would meet one another everyday. However, his times of going in and out of Xu's house have been several and it makes it that the reporters have to film it down. As to whether did he spend the night at Xu's house, she emphasis that the company doesn't intefere in the celebrity's private lives. Afterwhich, she added, "You all should be more sure than us!" Taiwan media started talking about the kiss mark yesterday (2005/09/21). Because of the time lag, it makes me wonder if the original source is outside Taiwan.

honestly, i was just stating it subtly. baka kasi magkaron ng not-so-good reactions here coz some naman don't like da s (i think) for him. i didn't want naman din to start a fit or something with someone just with a mere opinion (not that someone will, but who knows, hehehe).

Seeing everybody’s messages, yes, there have been lots of reports on F4 recently, but they are not work related for the most part. This is a result of the media’s culture, a sad but helpless truth. F4 being artists managed by us, our company will respect their privacy and give them freedom as long as it does not affect their work. We hope that fans can try out this kind of management system as well.

Vic has been filming in QingDao for a while and work is tough. After returning to Taiwan the entire working team had a few days to rest. During these few days the company will not interfere with where he goes, or whom he is with. Pretty soon Vic will once again focus his attention back to filming.

Basically, F4 are all completely drained in their works, however the media tends to steer their focus in other directions. This makes us infuriated, of course, we just wish that all the people who support them can understand, F4 works hard in return to your support and trust, let us work together on this!

I like Da S. When rumours of their relationship broke out I was one of those jumping with glee. She's a helluva lot better than XWL, that's for sure. But right now I don't care about other people. My only concern is ZaiZai, and that he's happy. However this turns out, whichever version is the truth...I will say only one thing ---

it's only now that i got time to read all the news posted and to browse vicpower. kudos to laiou and grendel for keeping the english section updated. i'm getting a little emotional here. gomen everyone. as i look at the pictures of zz during the accident and what happened after, it's evident that he was not feeling well. and the media, i hate them for taking advantage of zz...for invading his life just to make a quick buck...yes, i know he is a public figure...but he has a right to his own peace of mind, he has a right to date his girlfriend and to enjoy life.

sighh, well what can we do? i suggest we pray for zz. personally, i believe in the power of prayer. and it works! i can attest to this but that is another story. lol. but seriously, let's say a little prayer for zz, pray for his happiness and well being. pray to that Supreme Being up there to look after this shuai guy who makes us happy.

no jezzy. hindi naman. the members of vicpower are numerous and a big majority are zai zai fans. every month talaga it increases by a big number. We just used to kid zaifreak, because she's fond of monitoring the number of members every now and then. minsan nga all of us were online (http://tsinoy.com/forum/editpost.php?do=editpost&p=233616#) there tapos pag refresh mo pa lang ng page nadagdagan na ng members.

it's just that there was someone in the chinese section who posted saying that the membership increased from 20k ata to its present because of the zz-daSissue. this raised brows because we know that that's not true. talagang marami ang membership ng vicpower. it reached 50,000 members way before pa. so i was kidding grendel that they should verify with zaifreak because she monitors the membership in vicpower.

personally, i am not surprised with the large number of members. lol, sa dami ba naman ng chinese sa mundo. sa china pa lang bilyon na sila. so i am not surprised that zz has that many fans whether registered in vicpower or not.

if you want to be a member jezzy, i could help you register. kindda hard at first coz it's in chinese. but you will get the hang of it. i was like that before. I go kia kia going to a chinese site pero you get the hang of it eventually. ask zaifreak, she goes everywhere there. even the japanese section. malakas ang loob ng batang ito. :D

the famous grendel and laiou2002 are moderators there. IMO, that site is the number one source of zz pics and news. that's where we get most of our updates.

No, what casey meant was just the opposite.

Some "fans" (mga ilusyonada, not zaizai fans) had the misconception that the number of registered members was that high because of the rumours, when it fact the number of registered members was already 50,000 in June 17,2005 - almost a month before the first accident happened and the rumours came out. By the time the accident happened the number was around 60,000 already. Right after the accident there was a bug in the registration page and registration was disabled, unless you know someone who's already a Vicpower member who can register for you. That bug was fixed just a few days ago on 9/19 and registration was again enabled. So the high number of members was definitely NOT because of the rumours.

of course not... before i used to check vicpower's no of members.. last october/november, during mars rally it was 30g's

around feb/march, it was already 40gs, i think around may/june- it reached 50 already.

everytime i refresh vicpower like 20 min after, there's always like 5-7 new members.. even way back... not becuase of this dazai thingy

well, here's a very brief translation and i know alot ppl here would be very displease with this report. well here it is:

It said that zai has the greatest suspicion of cheating on his ex- with da s. Said something like he's so luckly that no-one had actually made a big deal by others unlike the guy (who dated little s before and cheated on her)...said it just the matter of luck.

They said ppl are puzzled by the actual time that zai and that xxx broke up...it's seem to be in the early may....both friends from both side was shocked because they thought they were going really steady and suddenly zai zai initiated the break up. Coincidently, da s broke up with blue in june. It's suggested that the relationship btw zai and da s has changed from sis-bro type into something different as early as april...it's just that zai didn't tell xwl so she didn't suspect anything....now that the accident had brought out the speculation of a romantic link btw the two. It pointed out that the fact da s and her sister didn't make any ill-comment on blue which they would if they felt any wrongdoing, so it obvious the problem is not on blue's side.

All in all, this stupid report says zai cheated on his ex to be with da s and likewise. What can i say? this news is just too old....saying over and over again....they are never going to let the couple to rest in peace. Always protraying zai being the heartbreaker and da s being the home wrecker.....where is the justice? No one see the effort and energy that zai puts in with his previous relationship...no one see how sad and how much weight he lost during the late april and may (suspect to be cooling off period)....no one see how much he has been used to publicise her so-called series. no one see how devoted and loyal da s was with her ex....

these two people just wanted to seek contentment and love from a relationship....if they don't get it from their previous, is it wrong to move on? to find their own happiness? It's just so happen that they find happiness in each other...is it wrong to grasp with what's so right for themselve? There's no right or wrong time to love a person....should that person wait for a period of time before he/she should go look for what they desired? one day? one month? one year? no one has the right to lay such boundaries.....

Even if they had develop feeling for each other during the time that they are both involved, i think it was no wrongdoing of them to break up with their respective partners....they know it's unfair to them so breaking up is a wise and right step to do....If this is the case, I truly believe that the both had end things before they get into a relationship.

Q: TV series 'Meteor Garden' has been a big hit in Asia. Even now it is still receiving great responses. What do you think of its having such lasting influence?

"That's so, isn't it? At the beginning I had never thought that it would have such a great impact. However, 'meteor Garden' turned out to be a big hit and was particularly favored by young people. So Taiwan's TV production industry increases the production of idol dramas and now it has been established as a separate genre. Young people are quickly trained and engaged in the business of TV series. Young actors and staffers have been provided with good opportunities, but they are still not experienced enough. It's still rather difficult to produce dramas at professional level."

Q: Do you have some ideas about it?

"Yes. For example, for scripts, besides those of Taiwan's writers, we have also used scripts written by Korean writers and adapted from Japanese comics. I want to make a go of it together with experienced people from Taiwan, Hong Kong, and China. Languages and nationalities don't matter; I want to work together with them to create good Asian dramas."

Q: Have you by any chance already started preparing for it?

"Yes. The latest 'Silence' is produced with international cast and staff. It also includes a Hong Kong production firm and Korean staff."

Q: Is it true that you place great emphasis on dramas you produce carrying messages?

"Yes. Indeed. In the dramas I've produced, each has its own embedded message. For example, for 'Meteor Garden,' the message is that no matter how rich a person is, one can still have true love as long one is sincere. In today's rapidly-changing society, some young people collapse under pressures and some can't get along with their families. For 'Mars', the theme message is how one living in such a difficult society shares precious love with someone else."

Q: What is the theme message of the current 'Silence'?

"For 'Silence,' we each in our lives have our own personal password, a password to open doors. But we don't know what our own personal password is. Modern people live in economically affluent societies. Many of us don't know what we are looking for in life. Some don't know if they will be happy once they reach their goals. Some successfully exert themselves in their professions, but feel very lonely. In our lifetimes, we are influenced by various environmental factors and may feel lost in various situations. But if we just look inside ourselves, we will find our own personal password. As for me, I feel contended and happy as long as I get to enjoy delicious food everyday."

Q: How do you decide on a theme?

"This time, I decide it while discussing with the staff. The character Vic plays is a young master who has everything. Everyone around him envies him. But, one day, he was told that he had only 3 months left to live. Looking back at his life until then, he realizes that nothing he owns is what he really wants. He wants to live a life without regrets. It's a story about him searching for what he really wants in life in the last remaining 3 months."

Q: Has he found what he wants?

"That is a secret (Laugh). When I produce a drama, of course I always want it to be watched by many people. But it's not my utmost consideration. Da S, ZaiZai – this couple is just at the sweet stage in their relationship! The two were witnessed having a secret date by our reader the night before last at the Zoom Hair Salon in eastside.

According to the reader, some time past seven the night before last, Da S first entered Zoom Hair to prepare a change of hairstyle. After half an hour, ZaiZai walked in the hair salon. But because this hair salon has VIP room separate from the lobby, our reader was unable to take a peek at the situation inside the VIP room. At around 7:40, (our) reporters rushed to the scene, and happened to see a casually dressed Da S walking out of the guest room (VIP room?), said something to the staff at the counter, then immediately walked in the VIP room.

It is reported that Da S went o the hair salon this time to make another change to her new permed hairstyle. What’s strange is, roughly a few hours has passed, and still no dight of Da S and ZaiZai leaving the place. hallo there miss zhou! welcome back! i agree he does not need publicity. and knowing zai zai..(lol, parang ka-close ko no?) He is not the type to publicize his romance. Just look at what happened with his relationship with Wei Lun. He never really admitted that she was his girlfriend. Never said the actual words, really. He always prefer to stay silent and would rather the media just interpret his actions. Remember the paparazzi pics of him and wl, you know talking in front of her apartment, the foursome date at the moviehouse, perhaps allowing himself to be photographed is impliedly admitting to the relationship. This shuai guy indeed prefers to keep his private affairs as private as possible.

Report on the Beijing TV Festival held at the Beijing Exhibition Center

Starting from Aug. 24, Beijing TV Festival was held for 3 days to show the current trend in the Chinese TV programming. Taiwan's Comics Ritz which produces F4 TV series such as 'Meteor Garden' also attended the exhibition. The publisher of official web site f4.tv, Bohemian, does a field report on the exhibition.

Every time I come to Beijing, a city with chronic traffic congestion, a new wave of buildings has been constructed. The venue was at the Beijing Exhibition Center near Beijing Zoo. Do you know that there are over 2000 television stations in China? With that many TV stations, now they are consolidated into 8 media groups. At the venue were big TV stations such as China Central TV station (CCTV) to show dramas, variety shows, and music programs which are currently gaining popularity in China.

The current trend of Chinese TV programming is a music audition show, similar to the star discovery show of Japan's popular 'ASAYAN.' It has been receiving high ratings and has become the place where new stars, selected from 1.3 billion people, are born. Big booths were set up to promote shows. In addition, Korea, Taiwan, and Japan's NHK and Dentsu also took part in the exhibition.

The most promoted on the booth of Comics Ritz was Silence starring Taiwan F4's Zaizai, Korea's Park Eunhye of 'A Jewel in the Palace,' which has become a hit in several Asian countries, and Hong Kong's Andy Hui. Megan Lai who acted the part of Qingmei in Mars also stars. They are currently filming in China's Qingdao which is famous for its beer, so they couldn't come to Beijing. Instead producer Angie Chai arrived to promote the drama.

Now Silence is being filmed in the Qingdao location by two separate teams, on streets with beautiful Germany-look and in alleys where you get a glimpse of daily lives of Chinese people. According to the news from the shooting location, it is packed with fans from China and Korea. There are as many as 100 fans staying in the hotel. Though Zaizai was sick for not being used to the place, he is now in good health and starts filming from early morning. He says to the Japanese fan, "Watch it!"

In the coming spring, before unveiling the series to the public, there will be promotions in various Asian countries. Starting from China and Taiwan, the series will be aired in various Asian countries. Like Jerry Yan's 'Giant White Tower Hospital', Silence is one of the highly anticipated Chinese TV series in 2006. It's expected to be aired in Japan.

This is extracted from today’s news (9/26) in Lian He Bao. (just a summary, not a direct translation)

On the topic of military service…

The original length of service was 1 year and ten months. Last year, service time was reduced to 1 year and 8 months. This year, starting July 1, it was reduced again to 1 year and 6 months.

Starting January 1 next year, the length of service will be reduced further to 1 year and 4 months. This will continue until Min Guo ‘97 (3 years from now, or year 2008) when service time will be even further reduced to just one year.

Original service time = 1 year 10 months

2004 = 1 year 10 months

July 1, 2005 = 1 year 6 months

Januray 1, 2006 = 1 year 4 months

2008 (Min Guo ’97) = 1 year

thanks grendel, if zz goes next year, that would be 1 year and 4 months wait... not to mention, the time he'll prolly spend resting or something (that is IF, he decides to make a comeback, which i HOPE and PRAY).. but im glad it's not two years anymore :) if he goes to military on 2007, 1 yr and 2 months.. but i doubt that unless, he goes for grad school :D

Laiou2002 posted her opinion on the issue of zz's military service:

If he graduates next year, he should receive a notice from the army sometime in the 2nd half of the year. I don't think it's that exact like July 1st, 2006.

But we don't know if he will graduate next year. Suppose he fails one subject.... It's difficult to regain popularity after absenting from showbiz for a long period of time.

I think he must have factored his showbiz career, schooling, and army service into his marrying age when he said he would marry before 30 in the Japanese SPUR interview. But at the time, XWL was the girlfriend. XWL is older than him but younger than DaS. So marriage might not be such a pressing issue.

But if he wants to get marred with the new girlfriend, he should finish the army service ASAP.

It's absolutely not a good idea to marry before his army service.

He might just join the army next year.

Sighhhh, personally I don't discount the possibility that ZZ will get married at a young age considering that he always wanted to do so since he wanted to have grandchildren when he's still relatively young. Plus, the guy's a romantic, he has this "you and me against the world" thing goin' when it comes to his lovelife. Here's one who is not afraid of commitment.:D

And then there's DaS, who has her biological clock ticking, not to mention this desire to settle down. Wasn't it this was the reason she and Blue broke up? They were at that "it's either we get married or we break up stage".

but looking at the military service factor...most likely it's not that soon,,,give or take two years.. (*mcbeal wonders if she'll be over zz by then*:D )

Sana naman may makapag-advice kay Zai Zai na he's too young to get married. Sa babae OK yung age na 24 pero sa lalake bata pa yun. Dapat after military duties na lang nga sya magpakasal.

Tungkol pa rin sa military duties---pwede naman kasi na magpalabas sila ng TV series ni ZZ habang nasa military sya para hindi sya makalimutan ng tao tutal one year 4 months na lang pala yun o sana nga umabot sya sa one year na lang. dapat pag-isipan ng company nya yun. At wala pa syang movie.

you've got a point there jezzy. before zz goes on military service he should come up with a third album, his first movie and another series. I heard that the filming of Silence will be done by October. So that leaves his album and movie. He can make another series again next year and when he graduates july next year then it's off to military service for him.

Mukhang wala pa kong nakitang Zai Zai fan na natuwa sa marriage plans na yan.

This is one time that I wish na maging pakialamero uli ang manager ni Zai Zai. Hindi ba nuon pinagbawalan syang maging gf yung unang chaka nonshowbiz gf nya. Dapat kasi gumawa sila na special contract na bawal muna mag-asawa:D
katulad nung mga contracts nung mga female artist dito na bawal magbuntis for a certain period of time.

Zai Zai, lagi mo naman pinanenerbiyos mga Zaichos, 2 accidents then this marriage plans. Isip-isip muna.

Yes barbie11, we know media tends to exagerrate. that's why we're taking everything with a grain of salt. actually we're just reacting to some nasty rumors we have been hearing and pray tell it isn't true. i assume that Barbie has a sensible head on her shoulders. I also hope that she is the type of woman who thinks things through. We cannot deny that the media is portraying her as a woman who is in a hurry to get married, considering that she is not getting any younger, that she's racing against the biological clock, and that media is making it appear that a lightning marriage is in the works. as to why this is happening, we just don't know.

i only hope that when zz decides to marry, it's really his decision and that he's emotionally mature enough when it comes to women. he may be experienced and mature enough on other things but whenit comes to women.. sigh......he's overdoing it, that most of the time, it's to his disadvantage already. i know you're just here to defend barbie but you have to understand that as supporters of zaizai who are concerned about his well-being, it's just natural for us to react negatively on the issue of a possible lightning marriage. we're just voicing out our opinions (even if they don't really matter :p). after all, we are in zaiwan and i believe we are in the right place to express our thoughts on anything regarding zaizai.

exaggerated news or not, i just can't help but worry because i think that zaizai is indeed capable of doing something this rash in the name of love. at the risk of repeating what i've said earlier (and what others have said here), i feel that zaizai is not yet emotionally ready to marry someone at this time, be it barbie or some other woman and i'm not just saying this as some jealous fan because i'm well aware of the fact that he'll eventually have a family of his own someday.

Maybe Zai Zai thought that the fans would not mind really if he has a kid this early :( I hope Taiwanese fans will voice out their opinion against this. got my copy from zaizaiclub too. they aren't that clear.. well not as clear as the taiwan version vcd that i have. and yeah, mama shuo isn't included there. wo hu xi ni too.

wanna see hu ran mv though it's my least fave song in jdwan :p (as opposed to it being zai's fave in the album). wonder if it's really an mv or it's just like the wo hu xi ni mv which is more of a "slide show" mv.

got my copy from zaizaiclub too. they aren't that clear.. well not as clear as the taiwan version vcd that i have. and yeah, mama shuo isn't included there. wo hu xi ni too.

wanna see hu ran mv though it's my least fave song in jdwan :p (as opposed to it being zai's fave in the album). wonder if it's really an mv or it's just like the wo hu xi ni mv which is more of a "slide show" mv.

I've heard that it's the UHF channel that GMA will launch in November, GMA had a UHF channel before, citynet 27, if I remember it right, but it failed to gain popularity just like Studio 23. Examples of UHF channels include Studio 23 (which is by far the most popular), Net25, RJTV. Actually one can access UHF channels even if you don't have cable TV. All you need is a cable ready tv.
