A brooding prince? Wrong! He is Stephen Chou’s successor!

When Zhou Yu Min is mentioned, one might think of the melancholy Hua Ze Lei in 'Meteor Garden', or the news that blew out recently just after his car accident that he is suffering from depression. All this earned him the fine reputation of a 'melancholy prince' in the entertainment circle.

This title, however, is in fact a beautiful mistake. We were recently surprised to discover that this handsome young man with the sad, melancholy look in his eyes has already become the most popular 'silliest king of comedy' on the internet.

In private, Zhou Yu Min, also nicknamed 'ZaiZai', actually talks very humourously, and his brain responds amazingly quickly. In every kind of variety shows and public appearances, he would often use his silly style of joking and everyone present couldn’t help but burst out laughing. A great number of his fans compiled his silly jokes together and classified them, the number of jokes reaching more than several hundred over the last few years. At first, these jokes merely circulated in a small scope just between loyal fans of Zhou Yu Min. But recently, some net surfers posted these jokes in a famous entertainment website, immediately obtaining an extremely high number of page hits and causing widespread attention to be focused on it.

"I laughed so hard!" “I really never thought ZaiZai is this kind of person!” Regarding these jokes, the multitude of net surfers expressed being pleasantly surprised, and Zhou Yu Min’s reputation of being the 'King of Comedy' also spread rapidly along with it.

■ Our interview

Zhou Yu Min: Actually, I don’t think I’m humorous at all

After discovering that Zhou Yu Min has become all the rage as the king of silly and inane jokes, in order to corroborate the authenticity of the several hundred 'ZaiZai' jokes compiled by the fans on the internet, and at the same time to hear what Zhou Yu Min’s own reaction is to his immaculate and perfect image as an idol being 'destroyed in a split second' and with the blink of an eye turn into the king of comedy in the hearts of the fans. Our reporter contacted Zhou Yu Min immediately. Unfortunately, just then the news about ZaiZai figuring in a car accident came out, and also dragged in news about his confusing new romance, making him the person all the Chinese-language media are fighting to interview. He has refused almost all requests for an interview, but through persistence, our reporter finally won an interview with Zhou Yu Min. He expressed extreme surprise at being given the title 'king of jokes'. But when our reporter inquired if he has considered making a foray in the direction of hosting, he once again revealed his 'Zhou-style humour': “I’d have to talk a lot! It’s too difficult!”

Reporter: May I ask ZaiZai have you always been this humourous when you talk?
ZaiZai: Some of them, I just blurt them out as soon as I think about them, I didn’t really think about them too much. Actually, I don’t think I’m very humourous!

Reporter: When did you discover you have a natural talent for being funny?
ZaiZai: I’m not sure. I’ve always talked like this, actually. Until recently when everyone keeps saying that I’m very humourous, that was when I knew that everyone in fact, likes this way of speaking……haha……

Reporter: Is your talent for speech related to your family background in any way? Did you have any related learning experience during childhood?
ZaiZai: No.

Reporter: Are you the only one in F4 whose style of speaking is so full of cold humour?
ZaiZai: I think Vanness’ American-style humour is also not bad!

Reporter: When you tell your cold jokes, do you do it consciously? Or do you yourself not realize it when you say it?
ZaiZai: Depends on the situation. Mostly I don’t do it consciously when I say them……I can’t help it if everyone wants to say that they are cold jokes….sigh

Reporter: Which one of your jokes made the deepest impression on you?
ZaiZai: I don’t know. Because I mostly don’t say them consciously…I don’t particularly put them much in mind.

Reporter: After reading your jokes, a lot of people think that you are too pure and innocent for the entertainment circle, but a few others also feel that you have become slick and insincere. What do you think?
ZaiZai: I think that the way I talk didn’t really change much. It’s just that at the beginning it was nearly always the four of us together promoting. With F3 doing the talking, I just let them talk even more! When I released my solo album later and I had to face the crowd alone, that was when everybody started noticing what I say. I don’t mind how everyone sees me, because I think that the way I talk has always been the same!

Reporter: With the natural talent you have for speaking, did you ever consider to take a stab at hosting?
ZaiZai: But I’d have to talk a lot! That’s too difficult! I think there are so many other people with more talent in that aspect than me. I’d better just concentrate on singing my songs and acting in my dramas! Haha……

Reporter: Have a look at some of these jokes about you compiled by fans on the internet. Are any of them made up?
ZaiZai: Wow! Someone has even compiled it. I don’t remember a lot of them. This could actually help me reminisce a bit……
　　

Reporter: Your way of thinking is a little bit quirky and whimsical. Is this the true characteristic of your personality?
ZaiZai: Probably!! Haha……

Reporter: Is it hard for a person who talk this way like you to find a friend in your life who can understand? I heard that during “Meteor Garden” Da S was the only one among the cast and crew who could understand your humour? Was it like that? Did you develop feelings for her then because of that?
ZaiZai: When we were filming “Meteor Garden”, we were a bunch of young people who often hang out together chatting and laughing, whether it’s onscreen or offscreen. We were all like brothers and sisters, and because I was the youngest, everyone looked after me. It was very simple, nothing else.

Reporter: The past few years after F4 advanced separately, how do you think you progressed?
ZaiZai: Thinking back, I’m actually the one with the most projects and works among us four. I have two solo albums, a few TV series…from “The Poor Prince”, "Love Storm" to “Mars”, all of them are attempts at portraying entirely different roles. I am very glad to have this kind of opportunity, but I will still strive harder to turn out even better work to show everyone.

Reporter: How do you look at your (F4’s) career prospects now and how it was before when the four of you were still together? Do you regret separating?
ZaiZai: No, I don’t regret it! The four of us, it’s impossible for us to always be together filmingin the same production forever! If there’s an opportunity for each of us to do things separately and try out more things, I think that there will be more room for growth for everyone this way. We could work together again if there’s a movie or TV series appropriate for the four of us. We will then feel each other’s obvious growth and transformation. I think it’s very good this way.

Reporter: Among the four of you, you are the one considered to have had the most success after flying solo. Everyone said that your acting in “Mars” was quite good. Have you found your own path already?
ZaiZai: I’m very glad that everyone liked “Mars”. Most importantly, I want to thank director Cai for teaching me so much in it. In many aspects of acting, I feel that I still have a lot to learn, to discipline myself and to train for. Hopefully I can present everyone with even more good TV series in the future.

Reporter: You’ve been involved in quite a few gossips and rumours these past few years. As an artist, how do you see the relationship between the rumours and one’s popularity? Do you mind that people pay so much attention to your private relationships?
ZaiZai: I’d still much rather people pay attention to my work!

At a certain autograph signing session, a Hong Kong fan said to ZaiZai very earnestly: "Zai, I came from Hong Kong!" (looking at him joyfully)

Aya was making fun of ZZ because he pronounces "let" as"fan" instead of "fang.") Everytime ZZ didn't pronounce correctly shewas say this. Then ZZ actually said very calmly, "Fang kai wo!" (let goof me!) making Aya not able to cry or laugh.

When talking aboutZZ's sensitivity seen through his hair (ZZ pronounced wrong), Tao Zisaid that she wanted to touch ZZ's hair and then told ZZ to act a bit.(That is looking excited) When Tao Zi was touching ZZ's head, ZZ'sexpression was very awkward, staring at Tao Zi. (Up 6/27) Collection of ZZ's jokes/fun facts

I saw this thread by zhenzhen here with a ton of zz jokes/fun facts
and i attempted to translate them, but some of them are really really
confusing lol so i skipped some of them, others i directly translated
so they won't make much sense...anyway i thought i share them here, my
friend and i started to translate the first 100. (note: i might have
translated a few things wrong because there might be some slang terms
in chinese i'm not familar with^.^;;;;)

1-50

#1.
During the 7th episode of ABCDEF4, ZZ brings back a lot of food from Yi
Lan to give to F3. There was this bag of some type of fruit. ZZ said
that it's better eaten when it's frozen and also asked Bao Long if he
knew what would come out after you eat it frozen. Bao Long and the
others guessed that it was fruit juice. ZZ said it was wrong, the
answer is tooth!

In an episode in ABCDEF4, when ZZ was packaging the gifts for F3, he
used a saying of Tai Lang (his role in Poor Prince), "If you despise me
now, in the future you will weep because of me." Haha...Also, when ZZ
was testing out the food, he was really just like Tai Lang, endlessly
eating. He said that he was helping F3 to test out the food because he
knows their taste, so cute!

(really ZZ, is that the REAL reason? hmm...i'm not sure if this was a joke...but i'm just translating whatever they have)

On a Spring program, he visited a haunted house. He asked the female
ghost if she wanted an autograph. That female ghost, who seems like she
is a ZZ fan, says she wants a handshake. She also said to ZZ, "san ni
liang ba zan" (don't know what this means...) ZZ smiled, "go to the underworld," and also warned the ghost, "in the underworld, you can't buy a pirated version. "

#5. When eating puffed rice, Tao Zi laughed at ZZ's panting sound, it's like playing an A movie.

In an episode of ABCDEF4, F4 has some awkward silences. Vanness took
the action figure in ZZ's hand, Jerry also shoved ZZ's leg. ZZ looked
down and protecte the toy in his hand and shly defied, "Don't break my
leg, i'm a girl! It's really strange!" F3 dropped down laughing. endemo--> What? he's really random lol)

At a press conference, a reporter asked him when he had his first kiss.
ZZ shyly said, "Kiss the face?" Reporter said, "Mouth." ZZ was very
uncomforable (seemed like he couldn't remember) and said, "I think it
was also guo er." Words said: Aftermath of having too many girlfriends.
ZZ suddenly said, "However, I first kiss the face." The reporter
fainted. ...?

this one part where Vanness and ZZ greeted in English. ZZ shyly said,

Guan Zhong, Ah Bao asked ZZ, "What would you do if a girl chewed
areca?" ZZ suddenly said fiercly, "Chew areca, then I hit." This scared
Ah Bao and made him laugh saying, "ZZ, fierce." ZZ laughingly said,
"How can a girl chew areca."

#26. In Ming Xing Zhou Ji ZZ
tried Xi Er Dun restaurant's delicious salmagundi. At that time he ate
his favorite fish and kept on praising it saying that it's very good.
But he couldn't eat it all, he also needed to share with the staff
members. Therefore when he announced that he finished his last bite, he
suddenly pointed to a distant direction and said loudly, "Look! A UFO!"
Then, while everyone was distracted he quickly ate some more.

the camera, "I just took pictures at the construction site, buxiao xin1...
(I wasn't careful)....bu xiao xin4 (xin4=letter)...and
smashed my finger...so...so..." While saying that he slowly lifted up
his hand..."it got swollen..." What he lifted up was a "big dinosaurs"
paw. It indeed is very swollen. At that time the 3 idiots that hosted
the program, 2 of them actually didn't pick up ZZ's cold joke and said,
feeling sorry for him, "Aiya, he just smashed his hand, so
pitiful...being an actor is hard..." The other host was Qing He. He
didn't give any face and laughed making the other 2 hosts absentminded.

Zai Zai then puts the chocolate in his mouth, as if intending to kiss Ken and pass the chocolate to him. Ken wakes up to the sound of Zai Zai and crew's laughter. Zai Zai says, "I'm filming as a lan2 yu." Ken shows a 'i've lost to u' expression, and Zai Zai happily returns to eating his chocolate. however, he sits down in his chair again, and sits on chocolate crumbshe has left there. A lady (crew member) must then wipe his pants clean for him.

62. In an F4 interview, they were celebrating Vanness's birthday. Vanness sings the first line "Wish me a happy birthday" R&B style, with a high note, and they took turns singing. When Zai Zai's turn came, he tried to mock Vanness, and he does it over-dramatically. Everyone says "Doing it again?!" Then, F4 had to imitate something from each other. When it came to Zai Zai's turn and he is to imitate Ken, he turned sideways from the camera, put his hand behind his back like a pregnant lady and sticks his stomach out to imitate 'big belly'. Vanness and Jerry laugh very hard, and Zai Zai ends up getting beaten up by Ken.

The funniest is Zai Zai's expression, his face was all wrinkled up. And he still remembers to tell everyone not to buy pirated copies! Borrow a line from Tao Zi jie, "Really want to give him a beating!"

65. In fantasy, Zai Zai and 'Jia Qian' (Dunno who this is..sorry!) were trying to comfort a fan, and this 'Jia Qian' person says "Should we give her a surprise?" Zai Zai's expression was very serious when he said "When she enters, we'll put a bucket of water above her." The screen shows everyone in the room with 3 black dots of speechlessness.

66. When comforting a fan, Jia Qian mentioned 'want Zai Zai', and Zai Zai mistook it for wanting his body, and he said "My body what?! Insane!" (Shen jing bing) Zai Zai really likes to say these three words.....so cute!

After discussions with ZaiZai’s manager, it is decided for the time being that ZaiZai will come to Shanghai in September and take part in the new product release of WoWo. He is like the role of Mei Zuo who cares and is candid with his friends. He started dancing when he was thirteen and dancing is now one of his specialties.

Seems like the craze for <Da-Zai Romance> is starting fade out, but maybe it was just an introduction.

'Worker Spilled Everything Out'

Not long ago, Barbie's older sister, Xu Xi Xian, drove Da S to <North Hua Li Wei Xiu Road>, whilst Zai Zai was filming on the other side of the road. Da S and her older sister suddenly stopped the car, making the workers to be mistaken them as paparazzis.

Ever since both Da S and ZaiZai had admitted that their relationship has surpass boyfriend and girlfriend, this news made <Da-Zai Romance> more popular within the entertainment circle. Because this rumour didn't seem to be mysterious anymore, thus people lost interest in this rumour.

Although this rumour has cooled down, but that doesn't mean Da S and Zai Zai aren't going out. Instead of attracting attention on their romance, they're now trying to hide it from everyone. Da S' love for ZaiZai is guiding him through darkness.

'Da S Secretly Visits ZaiZai'

Reportedly, Da S can't bear to be separate from ZaiZai, so earlier ago, she secretly went to visit ZaiZai, where he was filming <Silence>. No matter how hard she tried to disguise herself, people could still easily recognize her.

After realizing the girl with long hair was Da S and the driver was her sister, the worker didn't know whether to let her stay or tell her to leave. At the end, the worker acted as if he didn't see anything and left the car, so that he could let ZaiZai see Da S once he's finished.

'ZaiZai Responded: That's Pathetic!'

Reportedly, Hsu Wei Lun has finally overcome the pain from the break up and has lost 3 kg, while Da S and Zai Zai are developing their romance, looks like they're both maturing too.

Yesterday, ZaiZai was asked by reporters about Da S visiting him, perhaps he was busy with his filming or was too tired, he said, "That's pathetic..!" As for Da S, her manager could not find her, so there's no response from Da S yet.

There might be some truth to it. Hindi ba nuong accident a black car din ang naghatid kay Barbie. Hsu mama denied it but it could be Barbie's older sister who drove her there. At first, wala ding maniwala na nagpunta si Barbie but it turned out that she really went there.

Wala naman masama kung dumalaw si Barbie di ba? :D Kailan kaya natin mababalitaan na dinadalaw ni ZZ si Barbie? :)

This 30-episode Taiwan idol drama “Shen Qing Mi Ma” which has just started filming in Singapore at the end of July has plans of filming some parts on location in Korea and mainland China. Qingdao was chosen as one of the said drama’s locations in mainland China. Yesterday afternoon, “ZaiZai” Zhou Yu Min coolly appeared on the wooden plank road in Qingdao’s Tai Ping Jiao driving a Benz. Xu Zhi An and Wang Xiu Lin filmed their scene until dusk. Seeing these idols and celebrities up close acting their hearts out lets those tourists passing by and this paper’s reporter who went to visit the set look their fill.

ZaiZai speeds by in a car

Showing up on the seashore yesterday, ZaiZai wore a business suit looking casually elegant. Under the sunlight of Qingdao’s seashore, his handsome countenance shines even brighter. But the scene ZaiZai filmed yesterday was only a "passing by" scene – driving his Benz along the shoreline.

Even if they only saw ZaiZai’s handsome form when getting into his car for a moment, the tourists gathered around them watching still burst out time and again with exclaims of: “ZaiZai is so charming!” “No wonder girls all like him!”

Recently, ZaiZai encountered a series of problems like getting into an accident as well as his romance with Da S. At the press conference of "Shen Qing Mi Ma", ZaiZai admitted that in his heart, Xu Wei Lun is already “in the past”, and although Da S can not be said as “currently in progress”, he doesn’t exclude the possibility of a “future development”. Chai Zhi Ping’s "Meteor Garden" let ZaiZai and Da S have this chance. This time Chai Zhi Ping brings ZaiZai to Qingdao for "Shen Qing Mi Ma", she still didn’t forget to protect her favourite pupil. It is reported that in the series ZaiZai will play Qi Wei Yi, the scion of a rich family, who is the childhood sweetheart of ShenShen, the mute girl played by Park Eun-Hye. But in the scenes that will be filmed in Qingdao, the two will have a "break up" twist in the plot.

Xu Zhi An’s emotional dialogue

Xu Zhi An possesses the reputation of being one of the kings of the musical arena in Hong Kong. Yesterday he showed the audience who were present his acting skills. On the wooden-planked road in Tai Ping Jiao, wearing a white shirt and blue trousers, Xu Zhi An had a long dialogue with the second lead actress in the drama, Wang Xiu Lin.

Because Wang XiuLin is a newcomer, she was slightly nervous in front of the camera. Compared to Wang Xiu Lin, Xu Zhi An displays the manner of “an old hand”: stretching his arms out wide and half leaning on the wooden fence, walking about slowly waiting for Wang Xiu Lin to memorize her lines……

FAN UPDATE ON SILENCE

3pm: report from the front line

The weather today in Qingdao is very comfortable…gorgeous ZaiZai plus the scenery ~ envy…

Wanted to ask if my friend has arrived in Qingdao already? The answer I got was that my friend is already at the filming location…

My friend says: He is currently shooting a scene, wearing a suit and tie, just like what he wore on the day of the Silence presscon. Holding damaged shoes in his hands and strolling on the street…what kind of image is this? Is it in the screenplay?

There was a scene, he talked and mumbled to himself the first time he went through it. Finally the director said that ZaiZai is adding and making up lines. Everybody laughed…

Today they filmed several scenes at the counter of Bally inside the Yang Guang department store. Looks like they’re buying shoes. Andy Hui is also present. After that they went to the seashore, sitting at the back seats of a champagne-coloured BMW…

He relates very well with the production unit. Everyone is very relaxed when talking, and the atmosphere is very good. When they were leaving the Bally shoe counter, Ah-guan told him “let’s go”. He gaped: Go? Even repeated it once more, laughing hard many times in between…

Will stop here for now and update once there’s more news…the leading lady hasn’t appeared yet…

Second update:
ZaiZai has changed into a suit and a fine-striped grey shirt. Filming the driving scene on a road shaded by the forest…after the accident, this should appease his fascination with cars.

Now it’s Andy Hui driving the car. ZaiZai films the part where he gets out of the car, then seem to ponder and walked into a small forest…Acting very cool and suave!

Funniest thing is: There are two groups of people beside them taking wedding photographs. The brides and the photographers all came running to watch what's happening.

After passing through the woods to the man-made lake, the scene is him discussing with Andy Hui about their dreams. They NG-ed twice at first, the entire set laughed…

There are ten or more fans present, 3 pairs of newbies, standing in rows watching ZaiZai filming…At last I have the time to go all fan-girly: ZaiZai is really so handsome! That pointed chin and lean face…Chai jie is also present…

ZZ is known to be afraid of horror movies. One time Ken said that there was one day when ZZ was watching movies at home and suddenly ZZ screamed, "Ken, Ken, come quick." Ken ran there to see ZZ widening his eyes, pointing to the TV and said stuttering, "Explode, exploded." Ken looked and saw that there was an explosion scene of a movie

how cute is that! i can just imagine him looking frightened! matatakutin pala tong si zz. explosion lang, nagsisisigaw na! :D

F4 will not attend Sep 9 Thailand activity since each of them has his own jobs on hand, it's too hard to group them together at the moment. Hope that they will have the chance to meet fans in Thailand soon.

Vic is now filming in China, we know that lots of his fans are planning to follow the filming team. The filming team and Vic himself have discussed about this and come up with a preference, which we prefer to have a carefree environment for filming. Too many onlookers
will more or less impose pressure on both staff and actor/actress, hence affecting their performance on the spot and inevitably slow down the filming process (which is a main concern as filming budget increase with time). Further, it will draw paparazzo whom generates all kinds of negative reports, in which we are trying to avoid all the time. Therefore we are calling fans here, please try not to go to the filming spot, let the team and Vic have a less pressurized working environment and mood at work. Thank you for your cooperation.

By the way fans can see Vic in his upcoming public activities. His endorsed candy meeting session in early Sep is confirmed already, we are waiting for the detail rundown. Following this will be the large scale Pepsi fans gathering.

There’s no reason or thought in my mind right now. Let me first say that I’m not responsible if no one can understand what I wrote below. Right now my brain is full of ZaiZai waving and crooking his finger at me. (I say that my eyes see only you ~~~ there is no way to describe this kind of paradise)

At last…at last…ZaiZai finally arrived…(maybe around 2 pm? We didn’t even have time to look at our watch) Me and Xiao Bai, and two vanness fans very wisely guarded the back door. Some Vanness and ZaiZai fans already went to the Bally counter where ZaiZai will be filming. Hahaha~~~ZaiZai finally arrived just in front of us! There were not too many people following. But the staff wouldn’t let us take pictures. So I very obediently obeyed~~~

We then followed ZaiZai to the Bally counter. Walking behind him quietly, I feel as if I’m acting too sensibly. Arriving at the filming location, Zai started to go into character. First they filmed him entering the store. Waaaah…so thin! (how come he’s so thin, like he’s just sporting a large head on his shoulders.), deep, deep dimples (much more evident than on TV), really large, luminous eyes (please give half to our Vanness, they’re really very large), very elegant, refined features (drooling…), yellow-golden coloured hair (slightly wavy), wrinkled dark blue suit (like it’s just dug out of some box from a warehouse), face powdered thickly with make-up (but still much less than Andy Hui. I saw two small pimples at close range. There was less than 20 cm between our faces at the time. I even heard him say something to the staff. I don’t remember what he said, or maybe I just didn’t understand it at all. It doesn't matter. I would forever remember that beautiful voice), stopped a bit, and also his V-shaped foot stance. This guy stands like that. During breaks he would intentionally point it outwards even more [grendel: maybe means walking like Charlie Chaplin?] ~ really so cute.

A while later, they went in to film the scene of him buying shoes. During breaks he wouldn’t stop laughing, rolling his eyes, he was even chewing something inside his mouth. Just as I was trying to figure out what he was eating, he used a tissue to take out the bubblegum inside his mouth (Don’t know when he stuffed that piece of gum inside his mouth). He stealthily put it inside the pockets of his suit while people weren’t paying attention. Ha! I saw that! That action was just like a little kid’s, it’s really too wonderful!!! Soon the scenes inside the store were done. Zai’s group left quickly. We still followed behind. (This time there were a lot more people following, not just the five of us when we first came in) Some people called out his name. Some said they were from Vicpower. I followed very closely behind, quietly looking at him. As we arrived at the door, I wisely rushed out from the side doors, coming face to face with ZaiZai just as he was coming out of the front door, I called his name softly. He clasped his hands together and thanked us. But it felt like he said it to me, because I was just opposite him. Hahahaha…

Zai got into the car to go to the next location. We quickly followed in 4 cars we hired. We arrived at out destination by the sea, by this time the crew already recognized us. When I poked my head outside to check, someone came and said, here you are again. We got out the car and found a good place to sit. Next up is filming ZaiZai driving the car. They filmed him driving the BMW back and forth. We waited beside the production unit. A while later ZaiZai’s car came to a stop. We gathered together on the stairway watching him. Everyone kept waving at him, but didn’t see it. Luckily he saw a Vanness fan beside me waving and responded to us. Both of us were so happy we were hugging each other and jumping. And then everyone just watched and watched and watched…once again I tried to crook my index finger at him waving. He imitated my gesture and responded back to me! Dear heaven~~~this interaction is just between me and him! I almost died from happiness! At the time, I could feel the blood rushing to my head!

ZaiZai then got out of the BMW and went to rest inside the company car. I said we could try asking Zai for an autograph for Vicpower and Sunshine-Vanness, those ungrateful louts I call my friends pushed me forward to ask Ah-Guan. There’s no way out of it. I could only thicken my skin and explained my purpose to Ah-Guan. Ah Guan said very nicely and gently that it’s not allowed, and said a lot of things, all very sincerely. I understand. Finally I asked her to please tell Zai that Vicpower sends their regards, and Sunshine-Vanness JMs will also support him! Ah-Guan said, I will, I will! We were standing just outside Zai’s car while talking to Ah-Guan and someone inside the car rolled down a window. Don’t know if ZaiZai was watched or listened. I had many close-range contact with ZaiZai today. I’m going to faint from happiness! After that he drove the car once more. But this time Andy Hui is driving the car. They left after they finished filming. Probably to eat. We didn’t follow anymore. Later tonight at around 10 ZaiZai still has to return to the Sunshine department Store to continue filming. There won’t be anybody after the store is closed so we can’t go in anymore. That’s about it. My head is aching terribly today. I slept only 4 hours yesterday, and I was running about the whole day today. I still have to keep my strength so I could continue tomorrow!

While the Chinese newspapers used to say Dalian was Silence's overseas filming location, the Korean media have always said that Qingdao is the filming location, except for one article published on the "Sports Today" web site, dated Aug. 8, 2005, in which Singapore was mentioned the first time as the filming location.

Since Qingdao is so close to Korea, maybe the reporter got confused and thought the Silence crew indeed had gone to Singapore.

Doesn’t seem to be restrained by the language barrier. Andy Hui meanwhile is wearing a blue-grey t-shirt and casual clothes.

The gist of what they’re filming right now is: PEH storms into the room and flung the money towards ZaiZai…and then Andy Hui follows behind her and barged in as well, probably to intercede the fight…

ZaiZai has now left the location wearing a black suit and silver tie. He was very polite as he was going in the elevator and said goodbye to the staff.

My friend stayed to watch Andy Hui’s scene and to chat with the staff…

1. During the scene of him buying shoes at the Sunshine Department Store, as soon as he took his cue he started biting his tongue. The director saw it and yelled, “ZaiZai, don’t bite your tongue lah!”

2. In Ba Da Guan (one of the filming location where the man-made lake is situated) while the hairdresser was arranging his hair, the cameraman said, “Okay, that’s handsome enough already!” Then ZaiZai said: “Then let’s be a little bit more handsome.” The cameraman then retorted, “A little bit more handsome and they (the fans) would faint!” (I say: even if ZaiZai is not handsome we still fainted lah)

3. At the seaside, ZaiZai sat inside the BMW waiting for his scene. He kept glancing out the window and smile at us.

4. After they finished filming the scenes in Ba Da Guan, ZaiZai suddenly started jumping up and down a few times, which looked a little bit like a dance step. All of us watching from the side almost went giddy with happiness.

There was less than 20 cm between our faces at the time. I even heard him say something to the staff.

I followed very closely behind, quietly looking at him. As we arrived at the door, I wisely rushed out from the side doors, coming face to face with ZaiZai just as he was coming out of the front door, I called his name softly. He clasped his hands together and thanked us. But it felt like he said it to me, because I was just opposite him. Hahahaha…

Luckily he saw a Vanness fan beside me waving and responded to us. Both of us were so happy we were hugging each other and jumping. And then everyone just watched and watched and watched…once again I tried to crook my index finger at him waving. He imitated my gesture and responded back to me! Dear heaven~~~this interaction is just between me and him!

I had many close-range contact with ZaiZai today. I’m going to faint from happiness!

all i can say is.. if envy has a face, it would totally have mine.:o

• ZaiZai arrived at the set at 7:30am wearing casual clothes. He apologized to the director because he was a little late. JMs who stayed to watch the filming the night before said that ZaiZai filmed until 2, 3am, which means that he only had less than 4 hours sleep that day.

• Zai filmed from 7:30am to later than 7pm last night. Filming locations are at the lobby of a certain building by the seaside and outside the said building. They even put up a sign with the company name used in the series – "Yi Yang International Business Group, Qingdao Division".

• In one of the scenes, Manager Qi (for Qi Wei Yi) waits for his car at the door of his company’s building, accompanied by a group of his employees. A while later, Manager Qi got rid of his employees…perhaps to hail a cab or to walk? Among ZaiZai’s costumes today are 3 different coloured but same-styled business suits. (You didn’t think it would be anything other than business suits, did you? Dark blue or black, very light indigo-blue (another fan said cream-coloured and dark grey. He wore black leather shoes for the dark-coloured suits, and khaki-coloured ones for the light-coloured suits which is more casual.

Weather: clear and very hot

We found out yesterday from a young guy in the production crew that today Silence would be filmed at Haifeng (See breeze) Villa on Haiqiang Road.

Today, I went there with two Vanness fans. After we arrived, we found the villa was tightly secured. There were several production crew members sitting outside. We dared not go near.

When we were to discuss what we were going to do, a middle aged man walked up to us and asked what we were doing. We got nervous and thought he was a crew member and came to chase us away.

What we didn't expect was that the man's daughter and I not only attend the same school but also are in the same grade. So we asked him if we could go inside the villa. He said that we couldn't get in because there were many crew members. Even if we had gotten inside, we wouldn't have been able to see Zaizai. We had no choice but thanked him and left.

Tomorrow Silence will shoot outdoor scenes. I hope we can get to see Zaizai.

When Zaizai and Da S was fliming Mars last year, their acting became genuine, they became from good friends to lovers and started a Jie Di Lian. Recently, Mars have started its broadcast in Japan, the oil painting that Da S have drawn in the show was arranged to put up for bidding in Japan. This oil painting was named as Ling De Xiao Xiang. Starting from the 27th June 2005, it started it's bid from 2000Yen. After more than 200 hundred times of bidding, it was sold for HKD7,0000. This "heavenly price" made the crew go wow !

Although this painting of Zaizai topless isn't the real works of Da S, Da S gave lots of opinions about it when fliming. When she knew that the fliming crew would be bringing it to Japan for bidding, Da S joked that if no one bids for it, she'll be willing to buy it home. In fact, for half a year, F4 had already marched into the Japan industry. When the 4 of them released their pictorial F4@Tokyo there, it broke the 5,0000 sales record for the first week. Recently, there have been someone there who have been inviting them to have a concert, and they're making arrangements right now.

Seeing that Zaizai have successfully hit the Japan market, Da S have gone to Japan secretly to flim her personal pictorial. She chose a Japanese cameraman just like F4 did. Also , she goes to XinSu streets, Mu Yu Bai Huo, Tai Chang, Cai Hong Da Qiao to shoot. They actually decided to go to Tokyo's Tie Ta. However, as F4 have been there before and took many pictures with many areas, Da decided to cancel the place so as not to be pointed as copying.

Da S's pictorial is scheduled for release in October and also to be released in Japan while Zaizai's solo album, Make A Wish has coincidently to be arranged for release in Japan on the 19th of October. This couple group can make money in Japan together.

Ever since the accident which exposed their relationship, they have been experiencing the media's interviews. Right now, they have left Taiwan for the time being, to leave this gossip land. Zaizai, who have gone to Qingdao for fliming with Andy Hui and Li En Hui, would be there for around a month. As for Da S, she would be going to Jie Ke Bu La Ge to flim a commercial after she completes shooting for her pictorial and would not be returning to Taiwan in short time.

Makaapekto kaya sa popularity nya sa Japan yung love rumor? Dati rati lahat ng mags from Japan say na ZZ is the most popular F4 there. Meron na nagmention na isang mag na medyo pantay na sila ni JY although sa isang F4 thread ko nabasa yun.

Hey barbie11, Thanks a lot for the news... i was waiting for the translations of that news when i saw it this morning!! thanks thanks... though im quite confused with the figures... must be the commas.. i havent tried converting it to NT or HKD... :D Hope ZZ will go back to Japan... eventhough that country's already friggin lucky..

I dont know why... there's something about japan and zz.. they suit well for me :p
