Pepsi Fliming News

Popular group F4 once again gathered to flim the new season of the soft drink advertisement. Before this, the manufacturer was protecting their appearence at all costs. That's because all the 4 of them had dyed their hair blue, showing the futuristic feeling.

The futuristic tight fitting clothes, adding to a head of blue hair. F4 had p*** across the past appearences they had for the endorsement of the soft drink for the new season's commercial, giving a airy look for the summer.

When shooting the promo pictures, F4 member each gave their handsome and attracting pose. Vanness used his dancing and kungfu skills as a base, posing all kinds of actions energeticly. As for Jerry, all he does was to just simply lift his head, his electrifying-killing eyes, his hunkness was forcing upfront.

Zaizai also worked hard to fufill the camera man's requests, waving his both fists to show energy and beauty. As to Ken, while he was doing his make-up, he showed his adorable expression at times, lightening the mood at the shooting scene.

F4 have worked hard to flim these promo pictures and commercial and this shall be the soft drink company's main hit this summer. Following on, F4 would also be attending a string of promo events together with the other spokespersons.

Dyed Blue Hair, afraid others would call them "Tai Ke"

F4 once again gathers, to change their outlook for their commercial. Not only had they dyed their hair blue, they even changed the colour of their eyebrows. Ken Chu even purposely slimmed down on 5kg.

For the Da Zhong Hua area of Pepsi endorsement, F4 specially flew to HK to flim for 2 days. At first, when all the 4 of them heard that they had to dye their hair blue, they were afraid that they will become "tai ke". They spend 30 hours, re-arranging the colours and doing extensions, Zaizai laughed and said, "Oh ! The scalp really hurts when dyeing the hair." Other than their suffering scalp, they were hung on strings in the commercial, their body suffering. After they finished fliming the pictures, they flimed a commercial with Louis Koo. Vanness said, "The commercial is like a movie ."

In order for their bodies to look fitter in the commercial, the 4 of them specially went to the gym to train their bodies, allowing their muscles line to look even more beautiful. Zaizai and Ken even specially slimmed down. Zaizai's body changed the most, he even had to alter the clothes that was specially made some time ago on the scene itself, making him exposed the most among the 4. As to Ken, facing the relationship problems, he seemed to have slimmed down alot. He went down on 5kg, making him more photogenic. Ken's work is now to a stop, he have also put down his relationship problems and headed to Jiang Hu to dive and relax with his friends.

Zai & F3 to start the Blue trend

Recently, for a photoshoot with all having blue hair, F4 individually spent 4 days, 30 hours to dye their hair. And then, they spent 4 days to flim, tiring all staff at the manufacturer's side.

After some time, F4 would be meeting Louis Koo at HK. All the 5 of them would be doing a promo event for Pepsi. It's predicted that once the commercial is launched, it would start a blue trend in HK.

However, mentioning about the blue hair process, each of F4 never forgets. Vic's scalp hurt when he was dyeing his hair. All of them spend their time by reading magazines, watching television, going online or they prepared their own DVD player and MP3. They could have almost fainted from Ah Mo Ni Ye smell. As this process was huge, the end cool result could only be fixed together with the computer effects.

Right now, Jerry is preparing to act in Bai Se Ju Ta, he's armed with his script. Zaizai's holidays were coming, he's relaxed with his school and have accepted to flim a tv drama. He had knew long time ago he would not be able to graduate as a few subjects have been blocked many terms ago. His manager emphasised, "It's not because he did not attend the important stuffs, it's because of his attendance thus he cannot graduate."

Ken is not free either. He would be fliming a drama soon. Vanness have already flown back to US to meet up with a famous producer. This might be the first time Vanness has an album that's produced by a famous producer from overseas.

F4 grouped again for Pepsi; Use 30 hours to become blue fairies

After the new Pepsi image of Louis Koo and Jolin Cai exposed, now the most expected F4's newest Pepsi images are out after spending 30 hours of preparation. Ken was the first to try his image. He said, "Luckily Pepsi's color is blue, otherwise, it will be a disaster."

Zai wore the least clothes this time when compared to his previous Pepsi images, as during trying his outfit, the production team found out that Zai's figure has improved a lot, so they don't want to waste his fitness training. Zai said, "Actually my scalp hurt when I dyed my hair."

F4 have sacrificed a lot for having the blue hair. Pepsi indicates that F4 actually dyed their hair blue during photographing the new Pepsi promotion photos. This led to damage on their hair. However, when they filmed the new cm, as there were a lot of actions, they could wear the fake blue hair/wig, as audiences won't notice that.

Vanness was the first to be photographed and he also provided ideas to F3 on posing. Vanness said, "This year's image is really cool. With the blue hair, it is like in a movie, very cyber feel."

According to source, Pepsi will have a ceremony/performance in June
for the release of the new cm.

F4, the explosively popular super group across the whole Asia, has come to Japan

It's the early summer of 2005 and the Korea Wave still shows no sign of abating. A new wave has come to Japan. It comes from Taiwan and is named Taiwan Wave. Its top gun, super group F4, has finally started its activities in Japan in full blown.

At the beginning of 2001 in Taiwan, an adaptation of Yoko Kamio's popular comic "Hana Yori Dango" into a TV series was being planed. Four gorgeous young men were to be picked out to act the leading actors in the TV series. Four fresh young men were discovered: cool Jerry Yan, a former model; Vic Zhou, with a smiling face of an idol; happy Ken Zhu, scouted while working part-time at a restaurant; and international Vanness Wu, born and raise in Los Angeles, USA.

Their heights are all of 180 CM but their personalities are different. At that time Vanness wasn't even good at Chinese. As soon as the drama was aired, they got their big break. They started various activities in the showbiz using the name of the group in the series, F4, which means a group of four people as pretty as flowers.) Their popularity spread across the whole Asia. They sold more than 4-million CDs and completed a successful concert tour. They were in high demand and appeared in Pepsi commercials. In no time they had become the super stars representing Asia. In fact, up until then, Japan was the only place in Asia not knowing the existence of F4.

Earlier, F4, Jolin Cai, and Louis Koo were photographed for a Pepsi print ad sporting a secret blue-haired look. Following the exposure of Jolin Cai' and Louis Koo's look, F4's blue-haired pixie look are also revealed.

The four boys spent quite a lot of time transforming their hair. First they bleached their hair white, and then dyed it. Because bleaching the hair is very harmful to the hair and the scalp, Zhou Yu Min later said: "I didn't realize that when bleaching hair the scalp would hurt so much!" Zhu Xiao Tian bravely took on being the first test piece. When he saw the finished work ¨C a head full of blue hair, he joked that: "Fortunately it's Pepsi blue, we're finished if it's some other colour."

When the four of them were trying out their look, their image consultant discovered that the usually densely-clothed ZaiZai's (Zhou Yu Min) physique has become very fit, and so he quietly revised the design of his outfit, therefore making ZaiZai the one to wear the outfit which used the least cloth, and revealing the most skin among the four. Yan Cheng Xu said: ¡"Making a Pepsi ad makes you very pressured. The look is very unique every time. We needed to prepare earnestly ¨our hair, our physique, expression, posture ¨C all these have very high standards. It makes us nervous. Every one would go to the gym to build up the week before the photography starts.

But the Pepsi spokesperson indicated that they used blue-coloured wigs in the recently finished F4 TV ad, because the medium of TV uses moving images, there would be no problem if they used wigs. But because the print ad has a more detailed sense of reality - they have to dye their hair. Even though their hair could suffer damage, F4 is very professional and never complained.

I can't forget the experience of staying outside drinking cold beer when it was freezing cold in Sendai.

Translation, starting from the last paragraph of the previous page

"As a teacher, he spent time with me discussing in detail about how I felt about the role. This time, besides dealing with a difficult role like Ling, and directed us in acting, he also spent time simplifying the styling of our images and said encouraging word to keep us going. Moreover, Director Cai is a very good at telling stories. He himself started as an actor. So he understands very well how to direct actors. No matter what the current emotion is, he would come up a way to express it. When performing the scene, the emotion gets transmitted across. There was a scene in the Meteor Garden where cried and kissed Shancai played by Barbie Xu. When shooting the scene, Director Cai told us a story; his eyes turned red as he talked. My tears came falling down when I heard that story, too. We have learned many things from Director Cai's passion for work.

He directed each actor one by one regardless if the actor has a leading or a supporting role. The director is really a wonderful person. No one hates him or says bad things of him. I really respect him for that"

TV series Mars went to Sendai for location shooting in March 2004. It seemed that it was rather tough for those actors growing up in Taiwan, where the weather was different from Sendai.

"For this TV series, there are two memorable things. We had shot on location in Sendai. At the time, Sendai was freezing cold and snowing, but I and the other four actors, wearing summer-like light clothes, went outside the hotel drinking chill beers. It is something I won't forget. (Laugh). Another one is all the kissing scenes with Barbie. She was really into it and the mood was right. I'm just kidding! Just kidding. Laugh)"

He said mischievously with boyishness that he displays from time to time, which I think is one of his appeals. So, check out the kissing scenes of beautiful Vic.

Zaizai - Went to Beijing this morning 26th May 2005

Taiwan Airport

Zaizai arrived at the airport around 7.30pm. He waited in the car till the assistants were ready. I got a shock when he got down the car because a very thin Hua Ze Lei appeared. His whole face was so thin. His mood is normal today (quiet). Asked whether he would be acting in Xiang Ju Yi Ke, but it was Ah Juan who answered for him. Zai smiled at the side. It's not a high percentage that he would be accepting that show. When Zai went in and saw Gao San Feng, he automatically greeted. He was quite happy at that time, Zai's a very polite kid. Saw Da S too, her mood was normal too, but her hair seems to have become a little shorter. She was alone, with no assistants by her side. The funny thing was, Zai didn't seemed to have seen her.

5/26 Zai arrived Beijing around 16:00

According the Telephone conversation with Maruoko of Hong Kong Vicpower:

A group of overseas fans - Weewee of S'pore, Pretty and kate of Thailand,

Maruoko, Edvic,Myting and Lizama of Hong Kong-- They've got a chance to chat with Zai at the restricted area of Beijing Airport.

Zai is wearing a brown T shirt, grey pants and Addidas Jacket in white color. He looks handsome and slim indeed.

Maruoko asked zai if he losts weight...and Zai said he did. And Maruoko praised Zai he looks "FIT" in the Pepsi CM....

Zai smiles with her and thanks for her compliment.hehe...

There were over 120 fans from vicpower and other fans in the airport...it was packed with the crowds!!

[5/26] Beijing Presscon & meet-n-greet


Just called BJ… two bags of the small gifts that Flowersmile was planning to give to Vicpower VIP and non-VIP members were stolen.

They are now still waiting outside the venue. There’re a lot of people. It is said that the stage is very low. The staff organizing the event told Vicpower girls to remain calm when they see ZaiZai and to not climb up the stage. No cameras or DVs are allowed inside. No bags either.



7:30 Beijing press conference starts (from edvic)

The press conference started at 7:30

With the exception of around 10 media groups, there’s the owner/ photographers of Sino and Wan Ren Mi (stores in HK selling stuffs about celebrities) and around 10 Vicpower members.

ZaiZai’s khaki(?)-coloured clothes were very casual and simple. There was good interaction with Megan Lai and Da S, and a lot of humourous quotes from ZaiZai. Unfortunately, edvic’s view was blocked by the media in front of her, and she couldn’t hear what was said clearly enough, so she can’t understand everything.

8:00 Press conference finishes (from edvic)

Those who were at the presscon are now on their way to the meet-n-greet venue. The host of the event arranged for a group of muscled men to go onstage, to be part of a guessing game where ZaiZai, Da S and Megan Lai would guess what accent the men are speaking in.

ZaiZai recognized one of the accents, and he said it was a Shandong accent. But he started having doubts a little while later, muttering to himself that he himself is of Shandong descent, and that man’s accent doesn’t sound like one.

Finally, with clues and hints from the fans from China, ZaiZai maintained his original answer – Shandong accent. And of course, the answer was correct!

ZaiZai is wearing a yellow(?)-coloured suit over a white shirt, very handsome, reddish-brown soloured hair with a little curl.

Host: Do you know about Vicpower?

Zai: Yes, I know about them.

Just received a call from Beijing jm. I can hear ZaiZai answering reporter's questions!

His voice is so familiar!!!!!!

I can't really hear what was being said, but it seems that a reporter asked him what TV shows does he like to watch. I also heard Da S say that Mars is one of her favourite mangas.

P.S. Da S's voice sounds different over the phone, but ZaiZai's voice was just the same as always!
A reporter asked something, but ZaiZai couldn't hear it clearly. He said: "I'm not even sure what you're asking¡­?" The room erupted in laughter.

Zai mentioned that he almost got hurt in a dangerous scene they shot in the university. (I really couldn't hear very clearly because there were a lot of screaming at the presscon)

ZaiZai was asked if the fans would like to see him get married earlier or not? ZaiZai said that his fans would all like to see what baby ZaiZai would look like, he even joked that they all want to be the nanny!!!

During ZaiZai's birthday celebration tonight some kids went on stage and said the cake is shaped like a rooster, because ZaiZai's sign is a rooster. ZaiZai exclaimed, "How did you know?" He sounded a little surprised, but also pleased. So cute! He called himself Uncle ZaiZai and as soon as everybody heard the "Uncle" everyone started laughing! ZaiZai also ate some cake.

Beijing Airport News - Have recieved Zaizai

Today, the Beijing airport is in chaos. There were too many people and too little securities, even for glass door have been damaged. Such a big Shou Du airport and they only had a few securities, they have underestimated Zai's charm and the crazy fans craze. Luckily, the few overseas jms had the chance to chat with Zaizai when there wasn't much securities and chaos in the VIP area. His clothes was obvious that Zai had gone out of the house early as he did not make any colour management to his clothes. He's wearing a white addidas jacket, orange teeshirt and grey exercise pants. He's not wearing any shades and we could see a few short strands of his moustach. However, he's still handsome and have slimmed down. Marouko asked Zaizai whether he did slimmed down a little , Zaizai replied saying yes, he did slimmed down a little. Marouko of course praised him of his pepsi new look, saying that it showed his fit look out. Zai laughed and said thanks.

From the meet-n-greet

ZaiZai was in a great mood today. During the meet-n-greet, they played a VCR of children greeting ZaiZai a happy birthday. He laughed happily when he heard the children say "Uncle Zhou Yu MIn, happy birthday!" and "Happy birthday, Uncle Xiao Min!"

Then when two kids pushed the cake up the stage and called him "uncle", he "threatened" the kids saying, "I'm warning you, don't call me 'uncle'."

And those kids were also very cute. They reacted quickly and changed to calling him "ZaiZai xiao peng you" (which literally means = little friend ZaiZai. It's how you sometimes call little children.)

Guangzhou and Singapore JMs are now at the GZ airport to welcome ZaiZai. Zai's flight will arrive at 11:40 am. GuangXi and Shanghai Jms are inside the restricted area waiting for him. ZaiZai will use the ordinary exit...

btw, how do you make screencaps? what program do u guys use? para makagawa rin ako ng screencapZZ sa ating beloved ZZ.


there are several ways in making screencaps. I use either Virtual Dub or Power DVD. Virtual Dub opens the vid clip in frames so you can just choose which frame, press crtl + 1 and then paste the captured frame either in adobe photoshop or paint. I use photoshop though, seldom use paint. In power dvd, it has a captured scene feature. pause the vid, click the camera icon then paste either in photoshop or paint.

i think tempgenc may also be used for screencaps. :D

i use tempgenc for screencaps or when there's only a certain scene i want to capture, i do the "mano-mano" way of pausing the vid in windows media player, pressing the printscreen key then pasting it in adobe photoshop

WanQing (Singapore coordinator) was able to see ZaiZai at the airport. Because it was said that ZaiZai will use the VIP passage, Happy (GZ Vicpower coordinator) thought that they wouldn't be able to see ZaiZai, and so didn't wait near the VIP passage. By the time WanQing called them to say that they saw ZaiZai and they rushed over there, all they saw was the back of the car.

ZaiZai wore black today. He looked very thin, and slept the whole time on the plane.

Anyway, I used the ever "reliable" Alta vista Bable Fish translation. lol (vicfren ito!) and here's some info I got. Again the same is not an exact translation and I'll immediately edit this post once a more accurate translation is posted at vicpower.net or from other sources.

Zhou Yu Min and DaS promotes Mars in Beijing,China

Sina Entertainment News, May 26, evening.

Zhou Yu Min, Big S and Lai Yayan attended the Mars Meet and Greet in Beijing. Nearly thousand of fans arrived to support, the scene is exceptionally irritable with dozens of media covering this grand occassion.

Zai Zai's entrance before the stage snatches the biggest attention. Big S first enters the stage, the crown immediately erupts in a loud cry. When Zai Zai and Lai Yayan entered the stage, the fans immediately chanted his nickname "Zai Zai", the sound nearly drowning out the host's voice. The scene was exceptionally crazy.

Big S and Lai Ya Yan wore tinted gauze skirts (lol!) , looking fresh and elegant. While Zai Zai was extremely graceful in brown, western style clothing. x x x

The host asked DaS for any message she has about Mars to which she replied: "I must tell everybody that no matter what pain they experience in life, they must be brave and stand their ground."

A large screen shows clips from Mars. When it showed scenes with Zai Zai on it, the fans screamed hysterically. Zai Zai smiled and laughed at their reaction.

Zai Zai fans have especially prepared a video (VCR) for him. When this was shown on the large screen, a child appeared on it calling Zai Zai an "uncle". Zai Zai was unable to refrain wrinkling his brow. He replies, "Very few people have called me uncle. But later I will possibly hear people call me "Uncle Zhou" or "Granpa Zhou". "

Then the host asked the fans, "Should ZZ marry early or late?"The fans did not think and immediately exclaimed "Early!". ZZ replied with a smile, "They hope I marry early, so I can have little Zai Zais and they may work as their nannies (note: babelfish translated the "nanny" word as "wet nurse" lol!). The venue was filled with laughter.

This year is Zai Zai's Zodiacal Year (year of the rooster). Next month happens ot be his birthday. The sponsors of the meet and greet specially prepared a cake for him and this was brought out. The entire audience sang Happy Birthday. Zai Zai's grinned from ear to ear. He then made a vow: (not sure of the translation but it seems he wished joy for all those who supported him).

While the host was speaking, Zai Zai secretly uses his finger to taste the cake. Bis S seemed to prevent him from doing so (not sure though) to which Zai Zai said, "It's a real cake!" The expression on his face is extremely lovable.

(The last paragraph I sort of can't figure out but it seems Zai Zai was joking or making funny antics of stealing a taste from the cake with Da S sort of preventing him from doing so.)

5/27 Feelings went down with Xu Wei Lun? Zaizai sees doctor for uncomfortable chest

Zaizai and Xu Wei Lun (XWL)'s deep relationship had gone down ? Because of this, Zaizai's moods wasn't good, he revealed to his friends about "Miss Xu" problem, and he felt stuffy in his chest. The day before in the afternoon, he went with his friends to Guo Tai Hospital to see the doctor and the reason was because his chest was feeling uncomfortable. Yesterday, XWL became angry after her talk. She said, "We are very good, when did we quarrell ? Why are there such rumours ?"

Zaizai's friend revealed, Zaizai felt that it was hard to understand XWL while XWL feels that Zaizia was watching her while in love. In order to catch this relationship, whether XWL was fliming in Liu Fu Chun or Yang Ming Shan, Zaizai would make the effort to be her driver or he will appear at the scene to "tan ban". It was even rumoured that Zaizai was working so hard because he was afraid XWL and her ex-boyfriend, Li Wei might go back together. To others, this relationship was like watching flowers.

Regarding this, XWL's manager, Sun Fu Hua denied this matter,she said, "Li Wei taught XWL alot, but ever since they broke up, they did not keep in contact." According to what is known, XWL intends to sell her beige Mini Cooper car and buy a new BMW, the brand of car which Zaizai is owning now. When XWL first bought that car, Li Wei, who had a grey Mini Cooper helped her in both effort and money. And now, XWL decides to sell the car, it seems like the both of them had already ended in a full-stop.

Sun Fu Hua expressed, "XWL tells me everything. But, i have never heard of her grumbling about Zaizai before. Before that, XWL even asked me whether she could attend Zaizai's brother wedding. I told her not to in case the outside world starts talking again. It'll be okay just to have a meal privately." She said that XWL have attended the Physcological growing up class, she can handle her own problems as her emotion opinion is very mature too. As long as it doesn't affects her career, she will not intefere.

As to Zaizai's uncomfortable chest and seeing the doctor, XWL was very anxious. She said, "He could have accompanied his friend there. But, why ask me such questions ? Go ask Zaizai !" Zaizai's manager Zhi Xiang Li said, "Zaizai will not drope to such circumstances for a girl. That doctor is his friend. It's not embarassing to see a doctor."

Vic Zhou, Da S, promotes Mars, Near to thousand fans went crazy

On the night of 26th May, Vic Zhou, Da S and Megan Lai attended Beijing's Mars - Qi Luo Xin Yu meet-the-fans session. Near to a thousand fans came to support and it was "bursting" at the scene. Around ten media stations saw this grand event.

Although allof them act in Mars, all 3 had different treating when they came out on stage. Da S was first to came out and there was a shout scream from the crowd all of a sudden. When Megan Lai and Zaizai came out, "Zaizai", "Zaizai", was screaming in a mess. It almost covered the hosts' voice and the whole scene was just crazy.

Da S and Megan Lai were both wearing light coloured sash dress, light and classical. Zaizai was wearing a brown suit, very handsome. The few of them started to think of the memories when they were fliming and laughed together. When the host asked Da S what was Mars trying to potray ? Da S said, "It's to tell everyone no matter what difficulties u meet in life, you have to face it bravely." When the huge screens showed Mars, fans seem to have gone crazy. As long as the screen showed Zaizai, they would scream at the top of their voices. Zaizai would giggle secretly onstage and secretly greeting fans who were downstage.

In order to show support for Zaizai, fans specially prepared a pre-recorded video. When he saw the little child on the video greeting him as Uncle, Zaizai scratched his head. He said, "Very few people call me Uncle. But in future, i'll hear lots of people calling me Uncle Zhou, Uncle Xiao Ming or Grandpa Zhou, Grandpa Xiao Ming. " When the host asked fans, "Do you all hope for Zaizai to get married earlier or later?" Their answer was actually, "Earlier !" Zaizai laughed and said, "I think they hope to see Xiao Zaizai sooner so they can be the nannies ! " and the a string of laughter begin.

This year's is Zaizai's chinese horoscope year and next month was his birthday. The host specially prepared a huge cake for him and everyone sang a birthday song for him causing him to laugh so much he couldn't close his mouth. He wished, "I hope those who support me will be happy !" When the host was speaking, Zaizai secretly dab some cake with his finger and ate it. Da S immediately slapped him and Zaizai exclaimed, "It's a real cake !" His expression was very adorable. When the host announced the ending, Zaizai continued to eat the cake and played around with Da S. It was so different from when they just came upstage with such nice suits.

The original date for the Guangzhou promotion of Mars with Zhou Yu Min and Da S was supposed to be on May 13, but the postponement didn't in any way lessen the fans' fervour. Zhou Yu Min involuntarily "electrified" the female host

Zhou Yu Min appeared in an all-white suit. The moment he appeared he incited screams and shouts. Although he didn't speak much, his kind and friendly smiles and look in his eyes still made the fans present go wild. This wild, exhilarating mood seemed to have infected the female host as well, the tone in her voice sounding very excited. She even discussed how good looking ZaiZai is with the fans, and thought that ZaiZai's eyes are his most beautiful feature. Although the fans thought that everything about ZaiZai is good looking.

Zhou Yu Min also talked about what he feels he has achieved and also some anecdotes. Zhou Yu Min plays two drastically different roles in the series ¨C Ling and Sheng. Zhou Yu Min said frankly that he committed a lot of bloopers while they were filming because he was too immersed in the role. Da S also revealed that Zhou Yu Min is sometimes jealous of himself. When she praised Sheng in front of ZaiZai while he was playing Ling, he would become disgruntled. Speaking about ZaiZai's personality in real life, Da S feels that ZaiZai is an combination of the two characters, Ling and Sheng, sometimes he would laugh so much, and other times he would appear cool and detached. But when she speaks about Zhou Yu Min's performance acting-wise, Da S, who has already worked with him in Meteor Garden 1 & 2, commends the speed of the improvement of ZaiZai's acting. Not only was he more mature inside, he also matured a lot in his appearance, even growing some stubbles.

Hey! This is the sina news that I posted earlier! Lol! My version was not that bad after all! :D Although honestly, figuiring out the babel fish translation kindda gave me a nose bleed.

There's still other versions of the accounts of the meet and greet. One from sohu.com and ent.163.com. Hope it gets translated soon but if I have some time I'd do a little deciphering later. (ala Da Vinci Code ito!)

Yep Marzz!! that's the jacket all right, the one he wore in Mars. Grendel shared to us once that Vicpower got the jacket on auction and they intended to give it to ZZ as a bday gift!

almost causing a riot at the Beijing airport

ZaiZai, Da S and Megan Lai went to China to promote Mars, the local fans all went wild and nearly caused a riot in the Beijing airport, just like the golden days of F4, it is apparent that ZaiZai is the most popular. Da S chatted and laughed with him, seemingly unperturbed by the rumour of her and Lan Zheng Long’s change of heart. Lan Zheng Long is now in Taiwan, and his manager tried to disperse the rumour of their breakup, “Who said Lan Zheng Long usually picks her up at the airport? And even if he doesn’t, it doesn’t mean that they’ve broken up!”

There had been press conferences and meet-n-greets for Mars both in Beijing and Guanzhou for the past two days. ZaiZai was obviously the most popular. With his birthday on 6/9, fans prepared a cake and celebrated his birthday in advance. In Guangzhou yesterday, the host jokingly suggested Da S and Megan Lai to give him a birthday kiss. As soon as she finished saying it, the fans offstage started protesting loudly. Da S’ reaction was quick, and immediately said to Megan, “Maybe we should just kiss each other then, to avoid being beaten by the fans”, and then they hugged each other. Facing such a big challenge, Da S had already witnessed F4’s power in Meteor Garden, and she also has many loyal fans of her own already. When she worked with ZaiZai before, she would often laugh at him for being childish, pouting whenever he gets unhappy, but now ZaiZai is already 24 years old.

F4 member Zhou Yu Min (ZaiZai) and Da S, Megan Lai attended the Mars meet-n-greet with the fans in Beijing the day before yesterday, which attracted nearly a thousand fans who were there to give support, and they were wild. When Da S and ZaiZai appeared on stage one after the other, screaming from the fans who were there reverberated throughout the place, entirely drowning out the host’s voice. Whenever ZaiZai appears on the big screen, the fans would scream loudly. ZaiZai would then surreptitiously wave at the fans with a smile.

ZaiZai wore a light brown suit, while Da S and Megan Lai wore light gauzy dresses, looking fresh and elegant. To express their support for ZaiZai, the fans made a tape especially for him. When he saw the little children included in the tape calling him “uncle”, ZaiZai puckered his brow and said that it is unusual for people to call him “uncle”, but in the future there’s a possibility that he could be called “Uncle Xiao Min” or “Grandpa Zhou”, etc. The host asked the fans if they want ZaiZai to marry early or late? ZaiZai took the 11:55 flight and left GZ already.

First Megan, then Zai, then Da S entered the airport. Zai attracted the most attention from the people. Vicpower girls surrounded ZaiZai in a circle entering the airport, protecting him. Although there was still a little chaos, in general the order was very good. Zai was smiling as he entered the gate, and also waved at the fans. Today he is wearing a white sport jacket/ sweater over the pink diamond-studded t-shirt he wore to Japan, blue sweat pants, and rubber shoes (not sure), the straps of his bag on one shoulder. He was also wearing those big sunglasses, his face very small, you can see stubbles so he probably didn't shave, and hair like Tai-Lang.

After he went through inspections he turned around and said bye bye to the fans, waved, and made a gesture with his palms together, once touching his forehead, and once touching his lips.

Ah-Guan accepted gifts. Gifts from Beijing and Guangzhou JMs were successfully given.

Lee Wei and ZZ are not only fighting over Xu Wei Lun but also for roles! Angie Cai's production "Xiang Ju Yi Ke" has been officially named "Silence" and will start filming in July. Besides "Jewel In the Palace"'s Lian Sheng (Po En Hui) and HK star Andy Hui, it's been said that the other male lead will be Lee Wei, replacing Vic Chou. But the male lead won't be officially announced until June 8th.
