5/13 Guangzhou Mars meet-and-greet postponed

The May 13 Mars meet-and-greet in Guangzhou has been postponed. The artists’ management will give CETV the reasons in detail on Tuesday. We will inform everybody when that time comes!

The postponed date is tentatively set on May 27 (5/27). Pepsi will inform everyone tomorrow the details on how to obtain the admission tickets on Tuesday as well.

JMs who have already bought plane or train tickets, or who have already reserved hotels, please take care of the necessary documents according to the change in schedule as soon as possible. And those who have already asked for leave, please ask for a change of the date of your leave.

I feel very helpless to learn about this news, but we’d still like to ask everybody to please remain calm!!!

Except for the Sun newspaper, all other H.K. newspapers have said that the director wants his own son to act one of the two brothers in the movies, and will choose either Vic Zhou or Jay Zhou to act the other brother.

I think the news is just for publicity. The director doesn't even have the money for the movie yet. It seems that he wants to promote his own son but uses the three stars to raise money for the movie.

We don't know if Zaizai will still be in college in the coming fall.
If he does stay in college, it doesn't sound feasible to have Zaizai on locations such as Hong Kong and China in fall w/o disrupting his school schedule.

F4 come to Hong Kong to shoot a commercial. The day before yesterday, they spent the whole day in a studio until after midnight, 1 AM. When they finished shooting, Zaizai looked low-spirited when he got on the van. The shooting must have tired them out.

Over 50 fans seeing them off

Yesterday morning Zaizai and Ken Zhu left Hong Kong first whereas Jerry Yan and Vanness Wu arrived at the airport in the afternoon, about 2 PM. There were over 50 fans to see them off. More than 20 security personnel were dispatched to lead their way. ......more here that's not zz related anymore......

Last night F4 and Louis Koo shot a Pepsi commercial. To prevent their new images to be exposed, security guards were on guard. They also used towels to wrap their heads and avoided the media. They filmed until 1:30am in the morning. Louis and Vanness Wu seemed the friendliest, both greeting the media. But Vic Chou seemed sneaky, always covering his head and then getting in the car and leaving.

After finishing the commercial, F4 left separately in pairs. First was Ken Chu and Vic, who left at 8am yesterday arrived at the airport with the protection of 20 security guards. The 2 seemed cold towards the fans waiting at the airport, not saying a word the entire way. Ken didn't wave goodbye until he was about to enter the gates.

I was not able to watch ASAP yesterday wherein they featured F4 daw. Most of the feedback I got was Hero looks like Zai Zai. I agree that during Star Circle Quest, Hero had shots that makes him look like Tai Lang :D because they are both slim but now I can't see any similarities at all especially if candid shots. Our Zai Zai is definitely more handsome and gifted in the right places.

This is my own way of contributing to the thread, no updates, just my thoughts on our favorite man. I don't have my computer at home yet and I'm going to miss this thread during my forced leave next week.

Working Zaichos are probably very busy today being a Monday. As for me , Mondays are my most relaxing day of the work days. Fridays and Saturdays being the busier days.

Here's some comments from Vicpower members


He was just tired. He worked long hours.

Just like Taiwan (e.g. Taiwan Apple Daily), not all newspapers in HK are friendly to Zaizai.

The two Hong Kong newspapers, Oriental Daily and Sun, seem to be related to each other because their articles look almost exactly the same. I wonder if the two articles are actually written by the same person. Too bad, the news articles don't include reporters' names.

Zaizai was the last person to arrive in HK and he worked until so late and then had to leave early in the morning. You can tell the reporter(s) deliberately picked on Zaizai. He, she, or they must know that Zaizai was exhausted.

On the other hand Mingpao says that Zaizai looked tired after finishing the shooting and they must have been exhausted from the shooting.

Singpao says that Jerry and Vanness planned to leave around 11:00 AM but were too tired and postponed their leaving until 2:00 PM.



yeah he was probably just tired and oriental daily and sun didn'tmention that zz also waved goodbye to fans, i saw in the video fromfc-f4ever.

btw, i think oriental and sun are related because when i go tooriental's site and go to the online news section they give you 2choices to go to, oriental or sun so they probably are affiliates orsomething.

I think the author (I can't bring myself to call him/her a 'reporter') just based his/her article on that photograph alone, threw in the barest of facts then filled in the blanks here and there, and what do they care if ZaiZai was exhausted from working until the wee hours of the morning. I doubt that he/she was even there at the airport. It was probably only the photographer there, and of course all he would care about is getting a nice, clear shot, what with all the other photographers all jockeying for position and elbowing each other out. It's like playing the caption game. You look at a photograph and make up a story to fit what you see in the photo. But photographs don't always tell the same story. It depends on what context you put it in. What you capture at this moment may just be the opposite at the next. Another side of the story is always just a shutter away.

The fans have video clips and accounts from people who were actually there to back our story. What about them?

The truth is not what is reported in the papers at all. Because I was also there that day! ZaiZai came out at a little after 7am. There were only about 10 fans, and 20 securestar!

(According to a reliable source, ZaiZai and Ken only went back to the hotel at around 2am *after working the whole night* and after that they didn’t get to sleep!)

It’s true that ZaiZai was very tired and was not very high-spirited (he was at least in better spirit than Ken), but he was in a good mood~

ZaiZai walked very,very slowly, smiling all the while. When fans would call him he’d nod his head in acknowledgement

His head was bowed, but not very low, both hands in his pockets~~ he wasn’t cold to the fans at all!!

And he also accepted gifts and then turned around and bowed to the fans and waved!!!

P.S. Zai was talking on his phone with his head bowed the whole time he was inside the immigration area!!

Three years age, Zaizai Zhou YuMin applied to Chung Kuo Institute of Technology for suspension of study because of excessive absences. Later he retook entrance examination and was admitted into the extension division of Hsing Wu College. But lately his study has run into problems again. He may not be able to graduate in June for the same reason of excessive absences. In the year book just published yesterday, Zaizai is in group photo and head shots of graduates wearing gowns. You only find him in the activity photos.

Zaizai's company says frankly that Zaizai has tests being withheld from at least one subject. Nothing can be done. He just has to study one more year.

May 1 was the day Hsing Wu College held the event of welcoming newcomers and say goodbye to graduates. Everyone had to attend by school rules. Otherwise the penalty was one minor demerit and 8 session's absences. Zaizai was one of the absentees.

On that day, Student Affair section head Lin CongZhao asked the student union through a microphone in his hand to do the roll call and handed in the attendance sheets. A raffle was held; the prizes included NT$5000, NT$10000 and refrigerator, water dispenser, DVD, and what not. Students who won prizes went up the podium to collect their prizes gladly; some absentee students had also won raffle prizes. Lin CongZhao said, "The worse tragedy in life is that your name was drawn out to win a prize of NT$1000, but you were not able to collect the money. Instead you would get a minor demerit and 8 session's absences.” Students laughed at the teacher's joke. After the raffle, Lin CongZhao said that students could read the demerit list of students the following week on the bulletin board.

But it's been a week; the demerit list still hasn't been posted. It's as if Zaizai and other students have been spared. But some students are not pleased with it. One student reveals, "I and my classmate didn't attend the event last year, we had to donate blood 3 times to avoid the minor demerits"

After being informed of the contents of the exposé, Lin CongZhao is not pleased, "I've been holding this position for 6 years and I have never issued demerits to any students. This year I hope the absentee students will personally hand in 100 invoices to the Genesis Foundation. If Zhou YuMin was not present on that day, he would not have any special privilege. He will have to do the same thing. If anyone in his class acted falsely to protect him, I will definitely investigate it. As for last year, I asked the absentee students to clean the communities. Where did the blood donation coming from?" With respect to what Lin CongZhao has said, the student responds, "I swear I donated blood to waive the minor demerit. If I lie, I'm willing not to graduate, just like Zaizai!"

Zaizai's manager Zhi XiangLi says frankly, "He was indeed absent on May 1, but we haven't received any notice of donating invoices Zhi XiangLi says that Zaizai has been missing a lot of classes this semester because of sickness and work. And it all happened on Sundays. Since he thought he couldn't graduate because of tests being withheld, Zaizai had overlooked the significance of attending the event of welcome new students and saying goodbye to graduates.."

Hsing Wu College has a few student artists besides Zaizai: He JunXiang, Yuan JingTian, Zheng YuanChang etc. Lin praisesHe and Yuan a great deal, "Those two are well-behaved good students. Like regular students, they have attended the last 3 on 3 basketball tournament."

I was not able to watch ASAP yesterday wherein they featured F4 daw. Most of the feedback I got was Hero looks like Zai Zai. I agree that during Star Circle Quest, Hero had shots that makes him look like Tai Lang :D because they are both slim but now I can't see any similarities at all especially if candid shots. Our Zai Zai is definitely more handsome and gifted in the right places.

We don't know if Zaizai will still be in college in the coming fall.
If he does stay in college, it doesn't sound feasible to have Zaizai on locations such as Hong Kong and China in fall w/o disrupting his school schedule.
hmm... i dunno what to feel about this.. one quality that i admire about ZZ is that he could be in showbiz and stay in school at the same time... hmmm.. hmmm... pretty sure that his classmates ('specially yung may mga HD sa kanya) wont be too psyched about the idea... hehe.

The zaichos were camera shy as usual, but for once zaifreak was one-upped by mia and I would just like to say that we now have clear footage of the elusive zaifreak caught on video! Yes, ladies and gentlemen! The DVD (playable in all regions and in widescreen format and Dolby Digital sound with english subtitles) will be out in stores real soon! Watch out for it!

Hi Recluzze and Freakzz! Yup, twas really nice meeting some of the Zaichos -- finally talaga! :) Hope to be seeing more of you guys in the next activities (if there may be any...prolly the bday celeb na for our beloved ZaiZai...)

Freakzz -- yeah, you all looked really tired from the trip, but I'm sure "for the love of ZaiZai Zhou Yu Min from the Philippines", syempre GO pa din sa video shoot maski dead tired na kayo, diba? Me nga, i just made takas from my kids. Sayang, we didn't get to chat na coz we had to leave na din. Grabe ha! It was terribly hot nung video shoot! I was sweating like hell kaya that time! Yucker! Parang I took a bath with my own sweat, grabeeee! I wanted to make an individual greeting pa naman sana for ZaiZai, kaso jahe na no! I was like soooo wet...lol!

the zaizai bug that gave us the cancer in which we weren't able to recover from.
me too!! i'd pick chen ling over hua ze lei anytime

hua ze lei was my ultimate favorite. i like the character very much. mysterious, clever, patient, understanding.. but when i met chen ling (naks, closeness ever!) i loved the character immediately. and zaizai did a very good job portraying it. i can't think of any actor that could've done it better than him. it's like the character was made just for him.

Gu Tianle instantly becomes the darling after he officially joined the big Pepsi family. He is the leading man in the latest Pepsi commercial. Pepsi has even got F4 to shoot the commercial together. It is the first time the five handsome guys working together in a commercial featuring a story of sci-fi fantasy transcending the boundary of time and space.

The four F4 members came to Hong Kong a few days ago to shoot the commercial. Reportedly, the theme of the commercial is sci-fi based, aided by some air ship props and shot using movie production techniques. Both F4 and Gu Tianle appear in looks never seen before. Pepsi had asked them to keep their new looks secret. They spent several days shooting the commercial, but none of their new looks had ever been exposed. For days, F4 stayed inside the studio, even for their food and rest room visits.

The night before yesterday the five handsome guys shot the commercial together at the Sheng Feng studio. The reason why this time five men are invited is because the commercial's contents are more suitable for them. Maybe because it's difficult to schedule them together, they started working at 8 AM on the morning before yesterday and shot until 1 AM after midnight. Gu and F4 left in two vans. None of them responded to reporters' questions.

hey ancesluv, it's been posted yesterday but thanks for reposting.. wit regards to this issue.. most of us think that it's Fu Long's doing.. i mean delay zaizai.. as grendel said in Vicpower. Zaizai still has 1 more year before his contract ends with fu long and with f4 making big bucks in japan thats why they are making sure zz will still be available no matter.... coz once he graduate this year, then he'll definitely go staright to military school. zz can't do anything about it :( though he can go for grad school, with all this promotions lately for japan and other stuff.. he might not have the enough time to study for the entrance.. if he fails, then you know what'll happen.. delaying him is the easiest way they could find... scumbags... oh well :( ZAIZAI JIA YOU zAIZAI JIA YOU!!

Actually, (again this is my opinion) a thread does not need numerous members for it to be a quality thread. It does not need to be on page 1 all the time. What matters most is the content of the posts. Is it updated? Does it have the latest pictures? Do the forumers express their views with a dash of wit and creativity? Is there a sense of belongingness in that thread? I say Zaiwan answers these questions with a resounding YES! That's why I keep coming back here.
