Reporters of Hong Kong Oriental Sunday weekly followed F4. They got to photograph Zaizai's underwear in a hotel room of the Tokyo Westin hotel where F4 stayed. The reporter poked fun at Zaizai and reported that he wore boxer because it's more airy. The reporter also considered Zaizai's habit of throwing away worn underwear a little bit wasteful.

Moreover, Oriental Sunday made fun of Zaizai who is not fluent at English, saying that the English newspaper was placed on the desk facing the other direction. On the desk was also an empty box of a PSP game which Zaizai loves to play, the weekly said that obviously he is a big boy who plays games everywhere he goes.

Zhou YuMin (Zaizai) is considered by fans the shiest and cutest one among F4. We never think that Zaizai in real life is also pretty childlike. We searched his hotel suite where he stayed in Japan and have found out that he likes boxers of cartoon patterns. He took time off from his tight working schedule to buy a red-hot PSP game device. Indeed, he didn't forget to entertain himself while working.

Boxer short was left behind

We raided the hotel suite where Zaizai stayed when he was in Japan. We found a pastel blue boxer short hanging over the edge of a trash can. Looking closer, the design was a cute Monkichi pattern. Reportedly, Zaizai loves to collect cartoon-pattern boxers, especially when he is outside Taiwan for business or travel. He buys them whenever he gets a chance. Probably because of convenience, Zaizai threw away his boxer; it seemed to be a little bit wasteful.

Besides that, the desk seemed messy, covered with newspaper, snacks, and teabags. There were also takeouts from MacDonald and an empty PSP box. It looked that this time it was a trip for fun.

According to a staffer, Zaizai said that he wanted to buy some PSP game device as soon as he arrived in Japan. After he bought one, he would play the game device whenever he had time -- indeed just like a little boy who loves to play.

F4are finally together and are currently in HK to film a new Pepsicommercial. A new publishing company took advantage of the 4 when theywere in Japan and Shanghai to go into Jerry Yan and Vic Chou's rooms.................. (NEWS NOT

ZZ didn't arrive until the day beforeyesterday. Once he arrived he went to the shooting location to meet upwith F3. Because he had classes, time was very tight. ZZ was quitefunny at the airport. To catch the flight to HK ZZ didn't even havetime to put his luggage in storage and had to carry it himself. Duringthat time his cellphone, which was in his bag, started ringing, causingZZ to be very distressed. In a disorderly state he mistakenly took outa toothbrush thinking that it was a cellphone. Very funny!

If ever I'm going to have a baby boy, I will give him Zai Zai as a nickname but I will not name him Yu Min or Vic unless I married a Chinese guy. :) . Maybe her husband is Chinese. ( no offense meant to the Zaicho who named her baby Yu Min) Just my opinion.

5/4 ZaiZai came alone to HK to meet up for the new ad

At around 9:40 last night, F4’s Zhou YuMin (ZaiZai), arrived in HK under the company of his assistant and wearing casual clothes. There were more than 30 fans waiting at the airport. As soon as they saw him they immediately rushed toward him to hand him their gifts. ZaiZai who was in a very good mood personally took the gifts and kept saying hello to the fans.

His private car then went straight back to the hotel, and we didn’t see him come out and appear after that.

Yesterday morning at about 7, F4 boarded different company cars separately to go to Li Gong Meng Min Wei Building to film the ad in secret. The car windows were all covered with black cloth, they were very low key. Until they left one after the other at around 1:00pm. From what we learned, the four of them are shooting their solo individual scenes, and will stay at the hotel to attend a meeting afterwards. Filming of the big scenes will only start days later. The theme this time is “going back to the way it was”, which will present the “real” them.

But because the shooting location is open and public, the advertisers yesterday implemented even tighter security measures, to prevent exposing ZaiZai’s new look.

Yesterday morning at around 7, ZaiZai arrived at Li Gong University in the company car. The staff immediately arranged for the car to drive right up to the entrance of the passage, and then opened the car door to prevent the reporters from going near ZaiZai. ZaiZai put on a hooded t-shirt immediately after and hastily alighted from the car and went inside, using the hood to avoid the reporter’s camera. Around 1:00 pm the staff came to secure the scene because the advertisers had arranged for ZaiZai to use the secret passage again to return to the hotel and hold a meeting with F3.

The car carrying Zhou Yu Min drove straight up to the entrance of the passageway, and there were several staff members using the car door to block the reporters from getting too near. Zhou Yu Min, who was wearing hooded clothes, hurriedly went in as soon as he got off the car. Up until around 1:00pm did the staff pack up and left. But Zhou Yu Min had already left earlier through the secret passage and returned to the hotel, where he will hold a meeting with the remaining F3.

we didnt mean to offend you and yes you are welcome here in zaiwan. it's just that we have been to crucial times with regards to mars airing here in the philippines. with those feud with mars detractors and such plus the fact that until now there's still no news as to when MARS is goin to air here.. so in a way, we're definitely frustrated with the local airing of it that we tend to focus on other stuffs on zaizai or prolly the promotions of mars in other countries.

as for posting updates and sharing what you have. we really appreciate it also, the thing about Zaiwan though is that we encourage Responsible posting. As the most active thread in Tsinoy, we have encountered lots of problems before. We are mostly the cause of why our thread is not accessible. So right now we try to limit what we post and as much as possible avoid reposts. it just happened that your update was already posted before but it doesnt mean we're holding a grufge whatsoever. i believe there's a meteor garden thread and f4 thread here in tsinoy. with the upcoming mg rewind on abs-cbn, this is the time when they can resurrect those threads and make them active again. i just think it's not proper for peeps to post in zaiwan getting excited over this mg fever or f4 fever being revived. we are way past that. we are more concerned about zaizai's latest series, Mars and his other projects now. i'm sorry to say this but some of us just don't share their excitement over mg's being aired on local tv again. i don't mean to offend anyone but that's just how i feel.

First and foremost, Zai Zai fans are very much welcome in this thread. This was why the thread was created in the first place to show our love and support for Zai Zai Vic Zhou Yu Min. I agree with Zashi that the F4 thread and the Meteor Garden thread are the proper venues for F4 and MG respectively. Same goes with Mars. I remember back in the old tsinoy, we would refrain from posting Mars screencaps and translations in Zaiwan because the same are appropriate in the Mars thread. Ika nga, there is a proper thread for such posts.

Personally, (and this is my personal sentiment), I too am WAY past this Meteor Garden thingy. Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed the series, it made me discover Zai Zai but I'm not jumping up and down now that it is being revived. There's so much more to focus our attentions on. Call it my continuous craving for something new. ;)

As always, Zaiwan is always welcome to ZZ fans. We welcome them with open arms. :D But I beg to differ on the use of the term "need". Actually, (again this is my opinion) a thread does not need numerous members for it to be a quality thread. It does not need to be on page 1 all the time. What matters most is the content of the posts. Is it updated? Does it have the latest pictures? Do the forumers express their views with a dash of wit and creativity? Is there a sense of belongingness in that thread? I say Zaiwan answers these questions with a resounding YES! That's why I keep coming back here. Zaiwan is all for Zai Zai and more...much much more.

And honestly, sometimes it even just takes two or only a handful of people to make a thread really bitchin' *winks at grendel* *winks at BSBers* But that is another story and totally OT. ;)

A request to all the regulars of the thread:

I know you might get mad at me again for saying these things but I still like to try. We all know how much effort you put in this thread to make this the most active and the most updated tsinoy thread but with the Meteor Garden rewind fast approaching, I am sure that many new or 'recycled' Zai Zai fans will come post in this thread and some of them will not be to your liking. I request everybody to please be lenient with them. Because like in the past you might scare them away and the result will not be that good. Let's admit that we are not always available to put the thread on page 1 so we need the new members as well.

ZaiZai has already flown back to Taiwan. He checked in at around 8:00am this morning (5/6).

There were only about 10 fans. Nobody knew about it because FuLong only got tickets when they were already at the airport.

Ken went back to Taiwan with them as well.

ZaiZai was smiling and in good spirits. Just guessing: maybe it was due to the new look the past few days, hood from his shirt (?) was up and he was wearing shades. (*to avoid revealing it prematurely) Hong Kong was so hot...

ZaiZai has already arrived in Taiwan at around 10:00 this morning.

ZaiZai was in quite a good mood today. There were only about 4 fans waiting at the airport (*again, because nobody knew the plan beforehand ~ grendel). Good thing me and my friend managed to get there at the last 15 seconds, or else I'd have taken a leave today for nothing. Because I was too out-of-breath from running, I didn't get to ask ZaiZai anything ~

I think it was zashi who was asking what kind of food Zai was eating in one clip, the one in barbecue sticks. It's a street food in Taiwan. Those are small tomatoes fried with sugar. Found that out in a local show Pinoy Abroad when they featured Taiwan.

At tat time when Vic Chou left Yi Lan and went to Taipei to study, and within 2 months, he became Hua Ze Lei of Meteor Garden. Now, when u mention Meteor Gardem, he'll say "remember 3 yrs ago, there was a group called F4 was very popular oh"

After Vic & Barbie have conquered China fans in Meteor Garden, they'll collaborate in another drama MARS which have received good reviews in Taiwan when it was broadcasted. Lately, both of them went to Japan to promote. And China's version of MARS DVD has been released. Vic seems to always link to comics, besides Meteor Garden & MARS, b4 tat there was Poor Prince Taro and Xiang Ju Yi Ke which will start filming soon. All are adapted from comics. And in the latest issue of comic magazine Dian4 Man4, Vic talks to reporter abt comics and relationship with F4

Prefers Hong Kong comics to Japan manga

Reporter: U became famous due to television series adapted from comics, but disregarding tis fact, do u like comics? Which kind of comic characters do u like?

Vic: Comics, i like them all. But don't read those that i acted in. I prefer Hong Kong comic, for example Feng Yun. There used to be a comic magazine called shao nian kuai bao which was very in. Comics can be considered my old fren, accompanied me for a period of time in my life.

Reporter: Having successfully acted as so many comic characters, which character do u resemble to in reality? In real life, is there a comic character that is similar to u?

Vic: I feel that Hua Ze Lei is a calm & steady person, but i've not reached that standard yet. Ling (his character in MARS) is a rather violent person, that's totally different from me coz i'm a peaceful person. Perhaps i'm more similar to TaiLang.

Reporter: How did u enter the showbiz?

Vic: Actually, i don't have any ambition towards the entertainment business. Once, i accompanied a fren for audition and Chai Jie tot i was the best person for the role. that was how i happened to join the showbiz. I feel that i'm very lucky, it was my sweetest accident in my life. As to wat the future lies, i'll let nature take it's course. When i do things, i don't have a sense of direction, don't know wat's the reason for working so hard now. But as time goes by, hearing fans support n encouragement, i began to feel that if i don't do my best, i'll be letting down those people that have been supporting me. I begin to wanting to achieve my best in my work and have greater breakthrough. This is the difference btw now and when i juz entered this industry.

Reporter: What influence does friends have on u?

Vic: In the beginning, working with F3 & Barbie, i don't know how did we become so close. I feel that having these friends is a fortunate thing. From not knowing each other to now tat we can talk abt anything. I'll tell them my true feelings, and everyone of them will concern abt me. This is very hard to come by. When i 1st came to Taipei from Yilan, perhaps i had trouble accomodationg, i was quite troubled. I used to tell them, i feel like going back to be a farmer. Although we have different works, but we are not considered disbanded. As long as we show our individual forces, there will be a greater impact when we reunite.

Reporter: Wat kind of gals do u like?

Vic: Listen carefully! Actually it doesn't matter, (laughs) Perhaps when u 1st talk to a person, u'll 1st look at their appearance. They need not be very pretty, as long as it's pleasing to the eye. In tat way, i can communicate with her. Tis is the 1st step. The most impt is her heart, if she has the heart to be with u. In fact, i like those who are filial. Coz i often hear pple say, looking at how a person treats her family will sow how she'll treat her partner in future

Reporter: What influence does friends have on u?

Vic: In the beginning, working with F3 & Barbie, i don't know how did we become so close. I feel that having these friends is a fortunate thing. From not knowing each other to now tat we can talk abt anything. I'll tell them my true feelings, and everyone of them will concern abt me. This is very hard to come by. When i 1st came to Taipei from Yilan, perhaps i had trouble accomodationg, i was quite troubled. I used to tell them, i feel like going back to be a farmer. Although we have different works, but we are not considered disbanded. As long as we show our individual forces, there will be a greater impact when we reunite.

Vic: I feel that Hua Ze Lei is a calm & steady person, but i've not reached that standard yet. Ling (his character in MARS) is a rather violent person, that's totally different from me coz i'm a peaceful person. Perhaps i'm more similar to TaiLang.

Vic: Actually, i don't have any ambition towards the entertainment business. Once, i accompanied a fren for audition and Chai Jie tot i was the best person for the role. that was how i happened to join the showbiz. I feel that i'm very lucky, it was my sweetest accident in my life. As to wat the future lies, i'll let nature take it's course. When i do things, i don't have a sense of direction, don't know wat's the reason for working so hard now. But as time goes by, hearing fans support n encouragement, i began to feel that if i don't do my best, i'll be letting down those people that have been supporting me. I begin to wanting to achieve my best in my work and have greater breakthrough. This is the difference btw now and when i juz entered this industry.

NT$100 million to shoot a modern kung fu movie "Shao Nian Kuang"
(Juvenile Madness). He plans on finding Jacky Chan, Vic Chou and Jay
Chou to star. The movie talks about a father and his two sons and Jacky
Chan's salary exceeds 50 million dollars.

Except for the Sun newspaper, all other H.K. newspapers have said that the director wants his own son to act one of the two brothers in the movies, and will choose either Vic Zhou or Jay Zhou to act the other brother.

I think the news is just for publicity. The director doesn't even have the money for the movie yet. It seems that he wants to promote his own son but uses the three stars to raise money for the movie.

We don't know if Zaizai will still be in college in the coming fall.
If he does stay in college, it doesn't sound feasible to have Zaizai on locations such as Hong Kong and China in fall w/o disrupting his school schedule.

Yes BZ, it turned out well! some of the Zaichos made it to the video greeting which was shot in the picturesque grounds of Fort, Santiago in Intramuros. The sun was sweltering hot but nevertheless, Zai Zai supporters got to express their greetings to him for his birthday.
