News of the flight was tentative.

Me, WenWen and the rest waited at the airport for more than 2 hours, walking back and forth between the 2 airport towers.

ZaiZai finally took the 4:30pm flight

But checked in very early, around 3:00pm

The company car they used today carrying ZaiZai was, surprisingly, a Benz (not bad)

ZaiZai is in a very good mood today¡­there were two assistants with him (one of them is the hairdresser)

He brought very few things¡­the company probably sent the things over to Japan together yesterday.

Before ZaiZai went in, he turned back to the fans and with a sincere smile, thanked all those JMs who were there to see him off: Thank you to all of you.

Sorry¡­by that time I was already in a daze, and wasn¡¯t able to get a shot...

According to her, Zaizai walked rather fast. They saw him for only about 40 seconds, but she was very satisfied to see Zaizai who seemed to be very happy. The plane arrived at Narita @ 20:23, Zaizai came out @ 21:00, Japan time.- luckycharm

Zaizai got to Japan with CI106, and arrived at Narita around 20:20pm.
There are probably more than 200 people there at the end I think,
because Ken's fans come to terminal 2 after they saw Ken at terminal 1.
Everybody was being really good, and I think we could be able to
show zaizai a big support of Japanese fans!!

ZaiZai was wearing a red jacket with a pink tshirt inside when he came out. He was also wearing shades.

ZaiZai dresses very casual everytime he departs from Taiwan, but as soon as he arrives in Japan he looks like a superstar!

Looks like he treats his job very seriously! He was in perfect form when he came out.

Sorry, I only managed to take one photo, but forgot to turn on the flash!! So all I got was just a big black photo.

Doesn’t matter, someone took video. I think we could ask permission from them and upload it. But that might take awhile.

It wasn’t unruly today.

Everyone was well-behaved just like before.

Those in front squatted down, and those at the back didn’t push.

ZaiZai came out of one gate, and then exited through another.

The sole purpose of this was just to let the fans get a glimpse of him.

The entire walk took about…1 to 2 minutes only.

There were endless shrieks and screams as soon as ZaiZai came out. I screamed until I lost my voice…

ZaiZai didn’t stop waving, didn’t stop nodding and acknowledging the fans.

He looks to be in good spirit!

When zai came Tokyo last month, all fans panicked and confused. so this
time many security guard came and control us. after the passenger the
flight from Taipei ,they made 1-3 line fans to sit down on the ground

4/26 F4 silently goes to Japan to get some money


F4's wish has been fulfilled, with all 4 members going to Japan. The shooting of their first Japanese pictorial has already silently started in Tokyo. They are scheduled to have an official press conference in Japan on the 27th.

F4 has never appeared in Japan together. Zai Zai Vic Chou had once gone to Japan's Xian Tai to film the scenes of the drama "Mars." He also went to Tokyo in March to build influence. At that time ZZ saw how fans were so enthusiastic and wished on the spot, "Hopefully I can come with F4 next time!"

Until lastnight, F4 granted ZZ's wish. However, because each person were all in different locations, they all went to Tokyo separately on Saturday and Sunday. But coincidentally, when they arrived there were hundreds of fans at the airport welcoming them. F4 fans really know their idols' whereabouts, even F4 and the staff were suprised.

Because they were touched by their fans' enthusiasm, each member was very courteous to Japanese fans. When they greeted fans it led to endless screaming, especially when they used Japanese to reply, "Thanks for going through the trouble!" Further exciting fans.

Recently F4's exposure has been really low. Besides Ken Chu having a mini concert in HK, the other 3 are no where to be seen. Jerry scarcely announces his travel route after intimate pictures of him and Lin Zhi Ling were exposed. Japanese fans are luckier than Taiwan F4 fans.

F4 is going to Japan for 5 days to shoot a new pictorial, expected to release around summer vacation, and attend an international press release. Afterwards Ken will be staying there alone to go to Osaka to promote "Meteor Garden," Vanness Wu will fly to HK to film his movie while Jerry and ZZ will return to Taiwan.

As for the copyright of their Japanese pictorial, after the two big Japanese publishers, "Jiao Chuan" and "Jiang Tan She," fought for it, in the end it was decided that "Jiao Chuan" would recieve the copyright.

The Osaka F4 exhibition will be held during the Golden Week: Friday 4/29 - Mon 5/9.

The first 800 people, spending more than 8000 Japanese Yen at the F4 official shop, will get a Zaizai poster specially made for the exhibition.

F4's Tokyo press conference held at the Westin Plaza Hotel attracted a large number of media and reporters. All the four members of F4 arrived in Japan recently for the principal photography of their new photo book. Principal photography is at present already finished, and is scheduled to be released in July this year by Kadokawa Publishing. Simultaneously, F4's song "Meteor Rain" is also being released in Japan today, April 27.

Today, there was a press conference. Aside from selecting the media who will be entitled for an interview, those who involved are not even allowed to get in. So most number of fans are heading to the airport as Ah Xu and Zai Zai will leave for Taiwan this afternoon.

We also heard that on April 28 at 8.30 a.m. there would be news coverage of press con on Fuji channel, and on May 1 at night time would be broadcasted news of them taken at the airport (by EZTV)

At the Japanese Press Conference "Aishteru!"
(NOTE: "Aishteru" means "I love you" in Japanese)

Taiwan's super idol group F4 arrived in Japan. They held a sudden press conference on the 27th at a Tokyo city hotel.

All the members - Vic, Ken, Jerry, & Vanness - participated in the news conference. The 4 members greeted the reporters in fluent Japanese. During the conference they talked about the Japanese release of their album "Meteor Rain", the upcoming release of their Japanese photo album "F4 @ TOKYO" schedule for mid-July and also the various movies which the members are appearing in. On top of this, the members also spoke about their thoughts on their upcoming activities in Japan, and sent a "message of love" to their fans.

More detailed information about the press conference will be released later today.

Zaizai already left Japan today, went inside the airport around 4:00pm Japan time (3pm, our time). So he's expected to be in Taipei around 6:30-7:00pm.

ZaiZai left together with Vanness.

According to report, they left separately in 3 vehicles…

The first is Ken who left for Osaka for a meet and greet with the fans (limited to 300 fans)

The second was probably Zai and Vanness…

Japanese Zai fans said that the T-shirt-clad ZaiZai turned around to wave to the fans just before entering the gate, and looked at each of the fans…

"When finally we couldn’t even see him anymore, ZaiZai turned around and waved his hand once again.

We stared at him wordlessly until at last we burst into tears and cried."

Some Zai fans said that they “broke down (collapsed) and cried”.

The highly successful Chinese guy group F4 are in Japan They held a press conference in a Tokyo city hotel on the 27th April.

All the members - Jerry, Vic, Ken & Vanness - participated in the news conference. In the beginning of June this year they will establish the first of their world Official Fan Clubs in Japan, and each member gave a message to their fans in Japan.

The comments were given from the person sitting on the far right ¨C in order Vanness, Jerry, Vic and finally Ken.

First Vanness said "Ai****eru" (I love you) in Japanese. It seemed as if this were all Vanness was going to say as hewaved his hand in a playful fashion, leaving the reporters ready to call out "One more comment, please!". But then he added "The 4 of us are really happy".

Next Jerry also said, "The 4 of us are really happy. From now on we won't let any more chances slip away, and I want to try my best to show you good results", showing a strong conviction towards their upcoming activities.

Then Vic said the exact same comment as the two members before him "The 4 of us are really happy now", gaining unexpected laughs from the other 3 members! At that he went on to say "It is the same as what the others said, but...". He also gave the F4 fans plenty to look out for by saying "I want to make time and come to Japan. I'd like to have the chance to mingle with my fans here"

Finally Ken spoke, asking the other members, "I'm really happy that we get to work in Japan this time. I haven't just repeated what you all said, right??!!". He then returned to his serious expression as he spoke of his impressions of coming to Japan: "The Japanese staff members are very serious in their approach to their work, and I think they have an amazingly high level of work ethic. I think I gained a lot of insight from coming to Japan".

The conference proceeded with an air of calm from start to finish. During the photo session cries from the cameramen in Mandarin and Cantonese brought a smile to the boys' faces.

F4 risks danger, Goes to Japan to film Pictorial

F4 reunites and goes to Japan to flim a pictorial. Today, they would even be holding a press conference to meet the Japan media. Under the "anti-Jap" wave, F4 went to Japan for work and it's a little sensitive no matter what. However, F4 only puts their attention on work and will not answer any questions regarding politics !

With Meteor Garden, F4 went popular in Japan. The 4 of them gathered together and went to Japan and to flim the first themed pictorial. As the 4 of them had jobs on hand, they flew in from Taiwan and HK to Japan. Jerry was on the first, he arrived in Tokyo on Saturday, more than a hundred fans awaited and many Japan televisions went to the airport to do interviews. Jerry, who is nearer to the folks shook hands with fans while Ken and Vanness came from HK. Zaizai, who is still a student, rushed onto the evening flight to Japan after he finished his exams on Sunday. In order to greet the fans there, F4 specially learned "Da Jia, Xin Ku Le !"(Everyone , worked hard !) in Japanese. And, this Japanese line, made their fans screamed !

Before F4 appeared in Japan, they held a Meteor Garden exhibition for two weeks in Tokyo. At the same time, they released their single in Japan and all pictorials they have flimed before were released. The sales went up to 10,0000 books. The results were good, thus, the publisher invited F4 to Tokyo once again to flim the first themed pictorial. It's scheduled for release during the holidays and 1 000,0000 books would be printed and the amount of profit would come up to a million.

For this trip, F4 would be in Japan for 5 days. The main motive was to flim the pictorial. After which, Ken would be proceeding to Da Ban where the Meteor Garden exhibition is held. At the same time, he would be holding 2 autograph sessions for his personal solo album. As Zaizai had earlier on been spokesperson for Parco, as the response was good, 2 kinds of posters have now been released, in which one showed a wild side of Zaizai.

Going to Japan for work during the "anti-Jap" wave, they'll become the sensitive people. Today, F4 will be holding a press conference to meet the Japan media. However, the 4 of them had in mind, they will only put their attention on work at this time , concentrate on fliming their pictorial and will not answer any political questions at the press conference in order not to cause any sensitivity.

Other than that, the Taiwan government is considering to get F4 to be the spokesperson for the tourism board in Taiwan, using their popularity in Japan to attract Japanese tourists. And Taipei minister, Ma Ying Jiu have said gave his support, agreeing that F4, who is popular in both Japan and Taiwan is a great choice. F4 hopes to become the spokesperson to introduce the Taiwan's tourism.

Press Conference

I got news of the press conference in the middle of the night last night, went there early in the morning the next day

The venue was the Westin Tokyo Hotel, the same hotel ZaiZai stayed when he came here just this March

The press conference started at 10:30 am

At first there were a lot of reporters waiting outside, leading us to believe that ZaiZai will go in from the main entrance

Sigh…looks like we still don’t have enough experience.

It’s unlikely that they will use the main entrance…

And then the reporters suddenly disappeared!!!!

We all panicked, it's nearly time…

We waited by the entrance of the parking lot..

But there was no one..

Suddenly

We saw a reporter!!!! So we followed him surreptitiously!!!

We followed him to the ground floor. So this is where the press conference will be held!!!

Aside from the 3 of us, there were also around 20 other fans

The reporters came out one after the other. And then I saw Xiao Zhi has also arrived!!!!

I am so nervous!!!!!

And then Xiao Zhi went up to the first floor. We thought it was to get them…

But then he didn’t come back..

Suddenly, loud cheers came out from behind the closed room on the ground floor!!!

They’ve gone in without our knowledge!!!!!

Ah! I didn’t see them…..

But the voices could be heard outside

So we concentrated very hard and tried to listen to what they were saying

They were asked to introduce themselves first

ZaiZai spoke in Japanese "Minasan konnichiwa, watashiwa Vic desu. Yoroshiku onegaishimasu."

Just that one sentence.

Other than that I couldn’t hear anything else he said clearly.

Well, you know ZaiZai. He speaks too softly…

What’s more, there were a group of fans who couldn’t stop chatting and laughing! Really wanted to slap them silly

There was a part where Zai was asked something

Zai replied, "I’ve discovered a very peculiar thing. We arrived here separately. Don’t know why…"

I couldn’t hear thelast part….!!!!!

Probably wondered how the fans were able to get ahold of their itinerary.. Zai, was that really so very peculiar?

When asked about some of the amusing things that happened at the photoshoot, Zhou Yu Min couldn’t help laughing and said, Wu Jian Hao and Yan Cheng Xu arrived in Japan first. They shot for a whole day in Tokyo and the sun shone all day long. Who would have thought that as soon as he arrived in Japan it immediately started to rain heavily and all they could do is change their original plan. He said with embarrassment, "That’s because everyone in Taiwan all call me 'The God of Rain’ ! "

The press conference ended about 30 minutes later

After that we went outside to the parking lot entrance to wait.

I don’t know why, but when we got outside, the number of people increased!!!!

There were around 50 people there!!

And also a lot of reporters!!!!

Azio was also there!!! We learned afterwards that it was also Azio who went to the airport for ZaiZai’s arrival

We waited for a long time, baking under the blazing sun.. and still they didn’t come out…

About one hour later, we suddenly noticed the car carrying Fanny passing us by!!!!

Everything happened so quickly, we couldn’t even see who was inside!!

So we went back to waiting…

But because we still had to get to the airport, we had to give it up…

Just like that, we then went straight to the airport

Airport account from YLING of VICPOWER

It’s really a difficult problem to see him off at the airport…

Because there are two entrances at the Narita airport…and they don’t segregate it by airline..

Moreover, the two entrances are very far from each other..

That was the reason why we didn’t see ZaiZai the last time..

And so we waited for ZaiZai with much uncertainty…

Waiting…waiting…

Suddenly, I saw Xiao Zhi!!!! Xiao Zhi is really very easy to recognize!!!

He always wears a blue plaid shirt!


Zai was beside him, not far from us!!!!!!

When we saw ZaiZai, the others hadn’t seen him yet!!!

We dragged the others to get near ZaiZai from another side!!!! We strived hard to keep up with ZaiZai’s footsteps!!!!!

Trying not to panic, and trying to avoid catching his attention!!!

I finally saw ZaiZai!!!!

ZaiZai is so shuai!!! His hair looks good, haha! Of course, he just came from the press conference
wearing a light blue t-shirt.

He is in excellent spirit!!! This is probably the first time I’ve ever seen ZaiZai so high spirited in airports!!!!!

There were probably just 5 other fans with us

ZaiZai prepared to check in. Everybody waved at him

Zai smiled so radiantly

Vanness was expressionless….

I said to ZaiZai over and over again, Zai, can I shake your hand? Can I shake your hand?

Just like that, ZaiZai prepared to check in..Everyone kept following. Although there were only a few people, there was quite a commotion…

I stumbled and almost fell…

Then the security people arranged for ZaiZai to enter using the secret passage

When they started walking towards the secret passage, I managed to say to ZaiZai,

"Zai, it’s really so exhausting and difficult to see you…"

Zai smiled

Was he smiling at me??? Was he??? Zai, I’ll imagine that you indeed smiled at me!!!

When ZaiZai entered through the secret passage way everyone dispersed

But actually… no one was guarding the passage way….

The 3 of us then followed ZaiZai inside………..

Even though we could only stay in one corner, we could still see ZaiZai’s back!

Watching him check his bags

It was only then that I had time to take out my camera and take pictures..

Even if it’s only Zai’s back view….

Because we were trying to keep up with ZaiZai earlier, so we couldn’t take photos

But a Japanese Zai fan did manage to take a photo up front!!

A bit blurry, but so precious!!!!!!!!

That’s how we saw ZaiZai off

So happy!

It was so easy

And we never thought that Zai will pass by where we sat waiting!!! We caught him alright!!!!!

Was supposed to report this in Vicpower at once, but I couldn’t get online at the airport…

F4 lands in Japan, “God of Rain” ZaiZai upsets the neighbourhood

F4 officially enters the Japanese music arena, releasing an album, a photobook and others for promotion. Yesterday they held a press conference in Tokyo. Zhou Yu Min reveals that it rained every single day since he arrived in Japan to take photos for the new photo book, upsetting the progress of the photobook. No wonder he is being called “The God of Rain”.



Reporting from Tokyo

Taiwanese all-male group F4 held a press conference yesterday in Tokyo, officially announcing their intent to enter the Japanese music arena. The Japanese version of F4’s CD “Meteor Rain” was also released yesterday.

Mutually imitating each other’s dialogues

F4’s press conference attracted around 100 Japanese reporters. Wu Jian Hao spoke Japanese to greet the reporters present when he entered the room, and even sneaked a peek at his cheat sheet to say “I love you" in Japanese. But the opening statement of all four of them is “I feel so lucky”, thereby being laughed at by the Japanese media that they were imitating each other’s lines.

Yan Cheng Xu disclosed that he hurt his left eye during the photoshoot the day before, that’s why he had to wear sunglasses, and apologized to the reporters present. Zhu Xiao Tian praised the Japanese staff greatly for their earnest and serious work attitude, which he benefited from a great deal.

But the funniest had to be Zhou Yu Min (ZaiZai). He said that Yan Cheng Xu and Wu Jian Hao has already arrived in Japan on Saturday to start work on the photobook. The weather was excellent at first. But after he and Zhu Xiao Tian joined the team on Sunday for the photoshoot, it started to rain incessantly, and would even encounter thunder. The photographer could only change plans and take the shots indoors, affecting the progress of the photoshoot. Zhu Xiao Tian interrupted and said, “It also rained during the photo shoot yesterday, but when it was my turn, the weather suddenly changed for the better.” Hearing that, ZaiZai said, “No wonder in Taiwan everybody calls me “God of Rain”.”

Yan Cheng Xu, Zhou Yu Min, and Wu Jian Hao went back to Taiwan immediately after the press conference. As for Zhu Xiao Tian, he will remain in Japan, and will also be interviewed by a radio station in Osaka on Saturday.

Will hold a filmfest

F4 will release their new photobook "F4@Tokyo", published by Kadokawa Publishing. Starting July 2, the Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography (http://www.syabi.com/schedule/schedule.html) will hold the“F4 Film 2005”which will show movies that F4 has participated in, as well as clips of F4’s concerts in Taiwan and Hong Kong. On the other hand, the Association of Tourism for Taiwan has invited F4 to take the post of ambassadors of tourism to attract even more Japanese tourists to travel to Taiwan. F4 will also establish a Japanese fan club in June, but only Japanese fans can join.

There are some discrepancies that I’ve noticed

- Except for Hong Kong newspapers, all Taiwan and Japan news articles, which have mentioned the number of press groups, say there were 300 press groups attending the press conference.

- All the Chinese news articles say Zaizai is the god of rain. But, in those Japanese news articles, which have mentioned the weather part during the press conference, Ken is said to be the god of rain. I’m curious about this part.

I watch the puipui video clip which happens to have included the part where Ken talked about the weather.

But the translation on the screen was wrong.

きのう撮影で雨が降って中止に でも
ボクがいなくなった日が出てきた

It means:

Yesterday when we were being photographed, it rained so we stopped. But, when I wasn’t there, the sun came out.
-----

The part of translation about the sun coming out was exactly opposite what Ken had said. Since Japanese media all think the same. I think the translation error might have been made by the interpreter.
