Yep, she is. She played the supladang spoiled child ng isang underworld leader who is actually related with the character played by Zai Zai in the series. Siya yung kumidnap kay Zai Zai sa series to force Vivi's character to give up on him.

One thing about Wei-lun and the roles she play in pop idol dramas: she does the "taray" roles so naturally. It can be said being beautiful doesn't mean you're kind. Wei-lun's roles fit that perfectly.

Wei Lun was one of my favorite actresses, in fact she’s the first actress I wrote about when I started this site back in 2005… so it’s kinda sad really.

It’s sad to see her died at such a young age; she’s a good actress and got some good talents… she was actually planning to release her debut album later this year.

I bet her fans will be sad with the tragic lost, just like I do. Hope that Wei Lun will find peace in heaven. RIP my dear Wei Lun.

Celebrity, Xu Wei Lun, got into an accident yesterday, and her condition did not improve at all. This afternoon 1709, her heart beat stopped, after 2 hours of rescuing, certified death at 1937.

The doctor said, because of the water-swell in the brain, all this while, her condition did not improve. At 1709, she had a cardiac arrest. After the doctors' rescue, they could not revive her, and she's certified dead at 1937.
Her family is handling the matters, and wil lsend her body back to Taipei tonight.

1) the assistant was driving the car, XWL was the passenger
2) car lost control and hit the mid section of the highway which divides inbound and outbound traffic.
3) car spun out and finally pulled to a stop on the other side of the highway
4) XWL thought it was safe for her to get out of the car and she unbuckled her seat belt
5) this is when the truck rear ended them and this is why she had severe injury whereas the assistant still had her selt belt on and suffer minor injury.. NOTE*THIS IS A DOWN HILL HIGHWAY. (this is my assumptioni... "the trucker if loaded with stuff cannot pull to a complete stop even if it wasn't speeding. also this was 5 oclock in the morning...")
6) apparently all cars that get rear ended don't deploy front airbags. the only reason the two side airbags came out was because the assistant hit the car by the side on the mid section
7) passerby-ers tipped off the police that they saw the car going 120km/h--130km/h and pass them. but minutes later they saw the car stopped again on the right side of the road not moving. at that time the back of the car didn't show any sign of a crash. they later found out that the car sat XWL when they saw the news at home

"Daughter" WeiLun is gone, and the crew for "Sun's Daughter" stopped filming yesterday to discuss how they would handle this. They also revealed that the parts that were already filmed by WeiLun will be made into a DVD and burnt for her, leading her in heaven. Producer Wang says that WeiLun really like this script, so although she has left them, he wants to finish it for her, and they have decided to ask WeiLun's good friend Ariel to take on this role.

I'm not really a fan of her and i didn't like her much because of her special relationship with ZaiZai but this is heartbreaking. I've heard of the news but i didn't expect that she's really in a critical condition. I thought she just had minor injuries or bruises of some sort but never have i thought that it was serious. This news is so shocking.

She just left like that, a friend whom I've known for only a small period of my life.
The few days after she'd left, I've yet to feel the impact of the truth. theyre two different personalities, i like them both. theyre both pretty and talented....am glad though that Penny accepted Wei Lun's role...am sure wherever Wei Lun is right now she has smile in her lovely face.

Xu Wei Lun turns 30, 50 fans give cake to console her parents, Sunday November 9, 2008, Taiwan
13th of this month is Xu Wei Lun's 30th birthday, her parents, brother, best friends Xiao Gui, Chen Yu Fan etc, and plus 50 loyal fans gather at her columbarium "Dan Dan Miao Ju" to celebrate an early birthday for her. Some people brought cakes, some brought flowers, the table is filled with presents, everyone talks and laughs, just like they are really celebrating her birthday. Xu's mother felt very sad when she saw this, "Seeing that everyone is so considerate, i'm very touched, it will be better if Wei lun is here too."

She should be turning 30 this year if she's alive, but on the january of last year she met a car accident and ended her 28 years old life. When Xu's mother went to the columbarium yesterday, her expression seems to be very depressed. When she was asked, "how is she doing recently?", she replied that it's still very hard for her.

Xu's mother said that, "Wei Lun's this bunch of friends are really good, whenever there's a festival or celebration, they will call us to ask how are we doing and some even visit us. There's so many people that came today, i'm glad." Everyone gives greeting to her ashes and her brother gives money paper offerings to her. Many people put up many pictures of her, small glass house, piano models and sheep doll for decoration.

Xu's father was very touched, he cried and wiped off his tears silently when he saw the friends of her daughter giving her so many presents. He organize the table to put the presents up and keep saying, "Thanks for coming." He cut the Mickey mouse cake which the fans brought and share it with everyone.

Not long ago, Xu Wei Lun's grandfather passed away. His ashes were stored in the same floor as where her ashes were stored so that both of them have each other's company. Ariel Lin who just won Golden Bell's best actress award said that she want to visit Xu Wei Lun with Joe Cheng. but both of them weren't there yesterday. The company said that both of them will find other time to visit her. Wei Lun's boyfriend, Xiao Pai who is now in China also said that he will find other time to visit her.
