ABOUT FLYTOTHESKY
http://geocities.com/flytotheskyonjena/images/ftts-profile.jpgTheir group name, FLY TO THE SKY, was created by their producer Lee Soo Man (Creater of S.M. Entertainment). He came up with the name predicting that these two would show music lovers that they would go high up in their success, high as the sky. The group, which includes Brian Joo and Fany (Hwan Hee), is mostly R&B oriented and also has minor influences of hip hop and pop music. Brian and Fany both perform vocal parts in their music. Brian, on the other hand, also writes and performs his own rap lyrics.

Before their first album release, FlytotheSky debuted at the S.M. Festival Concert, and the LOG-IN H.O.T. SHOW. In less then a year of their debut, FlytotheSky gained global stardom in Korea, Taiwan, Singapore, China, and some parts of the United States. They also took part in numerous interviews with various magazines in Korea and Taiwan. In their first month of album sales and performances, they obtained the title of Artist of the Month in January for MTV Asia.

this is what i've concluded of the video.

all the 'black & white' flashbacks are Brian's memories of him and his girlfriend. so, what HwanHee and his gf are going through, Brian have already gone through. there are two different girls (obviously). Brian's girl is played by Bomi (member from the group M.I.L.K.) and HwanHee's girl is JiYeon (from IsakNJiYeon).

from the beginning...HwanHee's girl is refusing a shot that will stablize her cause she has cancer and once it spreads to her brain...she won't be able to remember. she runs off and bumps into Brian...he asks her if she wants to go the the beach with him. he is still grieving over the loss of his gf. Brian takes her to the beach cause that's where his gf wanted to go before she passed away. Brian overhears what the doc (or her father) telling HwanHee what's happening to his gf. after being told that...HwanHee then finds them at the beach.

Fly To The Sky Breakup?

R&B Duo Fly To The Sky is surrounded in a breakup scandal.

They debuted in 1996 and released 5 albums. The rumor of a breakup came out last year and the fans are wondering about this issue.

Last year in November, FTTS released their 5th album 'Gravity" and returned to their fans. Last year in December their contract with SM Entertainment ended.

The possibility of renewing their contact w/ SM has not been decided as well as signing with another company.

Since Brian has a U.S Citizenship, it will be hard for him to perform in Korea. FTTS's contract with SM has already ended and there is no news whether they will be going solo or not.

SM Entertainment said "Nothing has been decided with FTTS's contract yet."

FTTS's contract has ended but since the contract goes up to their 5th album, they are allowed to finish their activities for their recent album. Right now they are concentrating on their activities for the album.

If there is a possibility of renewing FTTS's contract, they want us to wait until they officially announce it.

Last month at their fanmeeting on the 29th, Hwanhee and Brian said "We really don't know much about our contract issues. But we think it will be hard for us to release our 6th album this year.

After the fanmeeting, fans reactions were "We don't want FTTS to breakup. We want a good company who can give strong support to FTTS so they can continue their singing career."

FTTS has gained lots of popularity throughout the 7 years since their debut.

SM Entertainment says "The rumor of the breakup is different from the truth. Its a rumor that is spreading because FTTS's contract has ended and there was no official news about their contract renewal."

FTTS has finished their 5th album activities in Febuary and is officially going stop their activities with the game shows and their solo activities.

Why would we break up? It's still the beginning for us. It is true that our contract with our label is over but, that does not mean that the group automatically just breaks up...HAHAHA
