S- sacrifice
I am a vegetarian because two years ago one of my dog was very sick and almost died. I was very sad and decided to be a vegetarian for one year hoping that can help my dog recover. I liked to eat meat before. But now i feel that it's right to be a vegetarian because other animals like my dog, they all have life and life is very important.
S- sad
The saddest moment in my life was four years ago when my grandpa passed away. I really admire my grandpa. He was very generous and have a great sense of humor. A wonderful grandpa. Before his death, i didn't have any close relatives who died. So his death was a big hit to me. There was a period of time when i still couldn't believe that grandpa has passed away. Because of his death, i came to understand that it's a regular pattern. Now, I am more closer to my family and friends. Before i would fight or argue with my mom and sister(s), now i learned to control my temper and i am no longer too particular about trifles. If i am out, i would buy gifts for them.
S- sensitive
I don't like sex jokes. I don't like to hear them cause i don't think it's funny. If friends talk about sex jokes, i would just turn my face away.
S- safe
My mom gives me the most secure feeling. She is also my spirit pillar. She takes care of lots of things for me and Dee. Me and dee are "living idiots." We have no brain for numbers. Even now, i have problem remembering my cellphone number and home phone number. One time while i was filming in China (eternity), i felt so insecure. I had not been home for a long time. I only slept 4 hours total for one whole week and only had instant noodles to eat. I felt pain and sick. My body got thinner so my mom flied to China to accompany me for two weeks.
S- satisified
Although Barbie did a very good job in hosting and acting, the most satisfaction she gets is from her family. As long as i see that my family and my dogs are healthy, i could be very satified and happy. Now i have 3 dogs and rabbits. Everytime i am sad, angry or sometimes come home late and everybody is already asleep, i would chat with my dog. I don't know whether they understand me, but i feel that they are so embarrassed to look at me.
S- sorry
The only thing that i feel sorry for myself is i didn't do well in school. I told my boyfriend once that i regret of not putting more effort on the book or with my studies. After i grew up, i found out that i am interested in science and the universe. But now, i could not be in this area. If time can go back, i like to go to America to study science and wish to have a chance to be a scientist to save the earth or study aliens.

update on Barbie's new series Phantom Lover:

Huang Lei, director of the recently finished "Phantom Lover" series, is facing a big problem. Because of the editing staffs' carelessness, almost all of the 25 episodes of the said series was erased.

It is reported that during his Television interview, he breakdown in tears. According to him, since it was his first Chinese New Year being married, he set the date of editing the show after the celebration. And when he returns for the edit on the 6th day after the Chinese New Year (Feb 15), the unexpected occurs. Only the 1st & 2nd episode is left of the 25 episodes, nearly half a year of filming is lost.

Supressing his anger, Huang Lei talked to the editing staffs and the big mistake they have committed. And wasting no time, he held a general meeting and discussed how they can solve their problem. Reporters seek for him for updates, if they already recovered the data, the staffs says, they are still following a brilliant plan.

zashibear - i agree wid u, 4 lbs. ang nadadag sa weight nia at bagay talaga sa kanya na may kaunting laman. Gusto ko ung cheeks nia ngayon, i remember na meron ciang mv and pic na kaparehas ng itsura nia ngayon. Yung mv with her sis, i don't know the title. Tumawa cia sa vid and kembot lang ang sayaw nilang dalawa ni dee pero naaliw ako sa vid nilang iyon : )

Hi...bago ako dito, pero eversince na ipalabas ang MG last May 5,2003 ay inlove na talaga ako kina Dao ming sz at shan cai...kahit na anong mangyari sila parin ang dapat na magkatuluyan. I cried when i discovered that bie has abf already at yung blue pa na iyon...Sori but i rili hate him alot. Barbie belongs only to Jerry. I pray that they will still end together. Yung tipo ba na para akong nakipag-break sa bf ko kahit di pa ako ever nagkakaroon ng bf hehehe...pero feel ko talaga yung pain...kasi naman nong ininterview si bie, yung first time na ma-interview sya nasa bolinao me that time, na yung mga cousin me eh ayaw sa channel 2, 7 hrs ang byahe mula bolinao hanggang manila, hinabol ko yun para lang mapanood ang interview ni bie sa the buzz, tapos biglang ganon. What do Taiwanese singer Elva Xiao, Filipino model Isabel Roces and Hong Kong actress Maggie Q have in common? They don't eat meat and they're vying to be the world's sexiest vegetarian.

The stars are among many others from the region competing in the contest organized by People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, or PETA.

Taiwan had two more entries _ actress Barbie Xu and singer Meng Tingwei. But stars in the hugely popular TV dramas from barbecue-loving South Korea were conspicuously absent from the list.

Hollywood actresses in the race included Alicia Silverstone, Reese Witherspoon and Natalie Portman.

Yesterday Barbie attended the Avon Star Search and this is her first public appearance after she announced the "break up". Because of traffic jam, Barbie was late for an hour and she was shocked so many reporters were waiting for her in the entrance. Da S’ Plans Made Xiao S Cry

Yesterday, Barbie called over Mike (Dee's boyfriend) to their house. With a bouquet of fresh flowers and a 5 karat diamond ring, he knelt down to the ground and proposed to Dee, "Can you please marry me?" Dee was so touched that she broke into tears at the spot. Their good friend Fan Wei Qi (Fan Fan) was also invited and she recorded the entire proposal. Fan Fan said, "When Mike proposed to Dee, Barbie said that it reminded her of the movie 007 because it was so romantic."

The night before, Fan Fan received Barbie's call, asking her to come over. Fan Fan didn't know why but when she got there, she saw Mike there as well. Barbie had asked Mike to hide his shoes and hide inside a closet and not to come out. After Mike went inside the closet, Barbie called Dee and said, "Quick! Come home! Something terrible has happened! Come home quickly!" Dee quickly returned home and Barbie told her that there was a special guest in their house. Dee right away guessed Alexander Wang Lee Hom. As soon as Dee finished guessing, Mike came out with his flowers and ring, knelt down and proposed. "I know we haven't known each other for a long period of time, but I love you and I know you are the one I want to spend the rest of my life with, will you marry me?" Mike put the ring on Dee's finger and Mother Hsu came home. When she saw the scenario, she burst out crying as well. After everyone hugged, Barbie said to Dee, "You are so gullible." After that, Mother Hsu treated everyone out for dinner. During dinner, Fan Fan commented, "See Hei Ren. Next time, I want a romantic proposal too."

(Question. 1) If you were to use an animal to describe each other, what will it be?

B: Probably a cat, because he's very capricious, changing every once in awhile. I think he's more like a cat.

Z: Once she spreads out her wing, she's like a devilish bat. Sometimes when I hear her laughing at me, i can feel that evilness in her laughter, it's indescribable. It's like after her laughs, something horrible will happen. She really likes to make prediction of my life; she would say, "Mm, you don't look too good today. You must be extra careful these days." Such a crow mouth, everything she predicts is usually right. So since then, everytime she's about to say, "I can see..." I would say, "Mm." (Puts his index finger against his lips) Signaling Barbie to keep
quite. Then she would be like, "Ok ok..." And that's how everything end.

(Question. 2) Do you know which animal each other has used to describe you?

Z: It's probably a pig! Because I love to sleep!
(Host): It's a cat.
Z: Oh really?
B: I have a feeling that he must have used a deadly snake, a beast, lion, tigers...these type of stuff to describe me, since he must have used a fierce looking animal to describe me.

(Question. 3) Can you describe some of the special characteristics that your partner possesses?

B: I think...I think ZaiZai is a really adorable person, that's why I can easily get along with him. It's probably because he resembles my little sister a lot, so no matter what he does, I would think of him as my sister and I can always bear with him. For example, he would get really
naughty and then he would start acting dumb, acting really cute. And then sometimes he would get really moody and would even want to cry. That's what makes me think he's a really cute person.

Z: A really reasonable and mature woman. An excellent person! Because she said I'm as tame as a cat, so I must have to praise her. Oh nvm, this is BS, I have to praise her, because she knows a lot of stuff about me. Director, can you cut this part of the clip away?! (I think ZaiZai
is confused here, I'm confused too...)

(Question. 4) When there are times that you two would have different opinions, what would you do?

Z: We often have arguments, of course, usually these arguments start off from very minor problems, so why do we still argue because of these little problems? Afterwards, I started to realize that arguing is a way to get us along together. All along, it's because of these conflicts
that strengthen our friendship. Because she's a very witty person and she talks very sharply. Whereas I'm a person who has a lot of ideas, but has difficulty in expressing myself. So everytime, she would hold on to this weakness during our arguments. So afterwards, I'd always be the one to obey her, letting her get her way.

B: Not true! He never lets me get my way, he's usually the person who wins over me! Don't accuse me...haha! It's always me who obeys him, because he would always call me sister, so how can I not obey him? Afterall, being with him is like being with my sister, so I would always bear with him, root for him, comfort him...etc. So if we have different opinions, I'd let him get his way.

(Question. 5) Do you know what each other likes to eat? And what do you like to eat?

Z: Personally, I like to eat pork rib w/ rice. And because Barbie is a vegetarian, so I believe she likes to eat anything that only has veggie in it.

B: Because I'm a vegetarian, so I can eat anything that has veggie in it. As for Zai...he likes to eat pork rib w/ rice. He needs to eat a lot of rice and a big piece of meat.

(Host): So he's a meat eater.

B: Yes, he's a meat eater.

Z: Actually, there are many vegetables in pork rib rice! So my diet's really balanced! But she always denies it, nun!

(Question. 6) In <Mars>, which shot has the most NG takes? And why?

Z: I didn't make any NG takes! Fine, it's me. In <Mars>, the scene that has the most NG takes is actually an unimportant scene. That is when I had to say something to Qi Luo in the corridor of Ling's dad's house. Actually, I didn't have to say a lot of stuff, but that day I...I don't know what happened to me, probably I was too tired due to either filming too late, or I played too much. What happened was I kept on getting tongue ties! We got about 30 NG takes!..I believe. It really got on the director's nerve until he finally sai, "Good! Cut!" Then I felt really bad that I just wanted to jump into a river right at that instant.

B: Um..everytime Zai got to say a little bit more, he would get a lot of NG takes. (Laughingly said) Then he would get so many NG takes that he would start to get speechless or he would start to make up his own long dialogue. As long as the director doesn't cry, "Cut!" You can see
Zai continuing to make things up and he would go nonstop. (Laughs)

Z: I know! And so what? That's because I'm a person full of creativity and I don't like to memorize my dialogue, you know, it becomes very stiff if you memorize it. Personally, I like to read over my dialogue and I would express it using my style. They always say I make things up,
but I didn't! I'm protesting!

(Question. 7) Being able to work with each other after two years, what difference do you find in each other?

Z: The difference is...both of us got old! (Laughs) No...the difference should be found on her acting. (Clears throat), When I was acting in <MG> with her...I didn't know what acting is all about, so I didn't even know if her acting is good or bad. It's after <MG 1 and 2> that I started to act in other series and once I accepted <Mars>, I finally realized...Wow! Barbie is really...I've mentioned it before! I said she was....mm..within our age range, she is the most stabled actress, she can keep her acting skill really well and steady.

B: After working with him in <Mars>, I realized he's totally different. Even his facial appearance and body structure has totally changed. When I was working with him in <MG>, he didn't have a beard yet, and now that I work with him in <Mars>, I can see a beard coming out from him,
also he has become really strong, really manly. I can also see that he has done a lot of homework before accepting <Mars>, for example, his pronunciation and acting skill has improved a whole lot. There had been a few times that I got scared by him due to his excellent acting, I felt like I wasn't acting WITH him, but was actually WATCHING him act.

(Question. 8) If you get a chance to work with each other again, do you still wish to act as a couple?

B: I really want to work with ZaiZai again, doesn't matter if we act as a couple, enemies, siblings, or mother and son...as long as I get to work with ZaiZai again, I would really look forward to it. Because there is a sychronization between us, so whenever we act together, the whole atmosphere would become really delightful. Also, since we are really familiar with each other, and personally, we're great friends, so working with him makes me really happy.

Z: That's right, because we both are really tacit, so I believe no matter how intimate our scenes will be, or even no limitation, we can surely make a breakthrough performance out of it.

(Question. 9) Do you think he/she wants to act as a couple with you again?

B: I think he surely will. Because he doesn't like to work with strangers, so he would feel more comfortable working with me. I believe he wishes to work with me again, so that he doesn't have to handle strangers.

Z: Mm! She would surely want to act as a couple with me, because I know her, and she really likes to act as my partner.

Zaizai changes Heart, Don't Love Xu Wei Lun

Zaizai and Xu Wei Lun's relationship of 2 years comes to an end. Last month, Zaizai's attitude towards her turned from sticking with her always to being very cold towards her. Zaizai's friend couldn't take this scene and exposed that Zaizai has a new lover and pointed out that the lover was either Da S or Xu Ru Yun.

The year before when Xu Wei Lun and Zaizai was working on the drama, Love Storm, Zaizai succeded in wooing her. After which, it was rumored that Zaizai would go to the scenes where she was fliming every now and then to watch her flim and tan ban. Zaizai's friend said, he used to miss Xu Wei Lun all the time in the past, the phone was even worse,we could see Zaizai was rather "sticky" in his relationships.

Zaizai's friend said without hesistation, he said the reason of the change of relationship was because there was a 3rd party who came in and the other party could be Da S, who flimed Mars with Zaizai. At one time, he said it could be Xu Ru Yun too. The most coincident thing was that, the time that Da S broke up with Lan Zhenglong was about the same, causing people to feel suspicious. Da S's mom was driving when she heard the news yesterday, she said, "I can't answer you." Later, she added, "Their just on working terms."

As to Xu Ru Yun and Zaizai, they have worked together in year 2002's Lai Wo Jia Ba and became good friends. They have always kept in contact and there were even rumours that Zaizai have been going to her house for drinks very often recently and that would last till morning. She replied through her manager, "No means no, he did come to my house before once or twice, but it was with his other friends." Zaizai's manager, Yao Yi Jun, yesterday said, "We will not ask much about the celebrity's private life unless he talks about it himself but we really did not hear about this." Xu Wei Lun's manager, Sun Fu Hua said, "I didn't hear that they broke up, it could be the calm period, i don't know about any 3rd party thing."

Barbie Got There in 20 min. Yet Girlfriend, Hsu Wei Lun, was Nowhere in Sight. Change of Heart or Triangle Love? It's Still a Mystery.

Yesterday, ZaiZai (Vic Zhou) got into a car accident. A witness revealed that the first person to have come was not his girlfriend, HWL, but it was Da S (Barbie Hsu). During the accident, ZaiZai had to be pulled out from the damaged car by other people, it was rather shocking. When Da S had arrived, she instantly hugged ZaiZai to comfort him.

Around 12 o'clock in the morning, ZaiZai was driving his 50 million worthed race car, from YiLan raced all the way back to TaiPei (at a speed of 120km/h). Because ZaiZai lost control of his car, he first crashed into the car in front of him, but his tire slipped, so he then crashed into another red car. Soon, his car finally stopped and the air bag instantly inflated, the front of the car was quite damaged.

After the alcohol testing, ZaiZai was provened that he did not drink any alcohol. ZaiZai's manager responded that it was because ZaiZai wanted to go home and on the way, there were very few cars, so he decided to drive fast. Earlier ago, ZaiZai was rumoured to be undergoing depression plus he and HWL were rumoured to have broken up, thus it might be the cause of this accident. ZaiZai's assistant explained that usually ZaiZai is very careful with his driving, this time, it might be because wanted to get home soon.

But then, when the accident had happened, why was Da S the first person to have arrived? Witnesses pointed out that Da S had arrived within 20 min, plus it was her mother who drove her there. Once she had arrived, she instantly hugged ZaiZai to comfort him. ZaiZai, in return, told her that he's alright and he's very actually very lucky that he didn't get hurt. Barbie's manager said she knows nothing about this incident and Barbie's mother is still not willing to answer the phone.

When ZaiZai and Da S were filming <Mars> together, ZaiZai had once admitted that he was too into his role and fell in love with Da S. Earlier ago, during a press conference, Barbie had joking asked ZaiZai, "You won't interupt between me and Blue right?" and ZaiZai humourously answered, "I promise I won't get between you two, but I can't promise that by the end of <Mars>, you won't fall in love with me." But during that time, Da S was deeply in love with Blue, so no one really paid attention to what they have said.

When Da S and Blue broke up, she went to <Mars> promotion in mainland with ZaiZai, thus ZaiZai could have the chance of comforting her. Earlier ago, ZaiZai and his girlfriend, HWL, were also rumoured to have broken up plus ZaiZai underwent depression (Da S had also undergo depression), those two are surely getting closer and closer.

Last year, ZaiZai was said to be interfering between HWL and Li Wei. ZaiZai didn't only drive HWL to work, but also continuosly sent SMS to her. Li Wei had tried to redeem his love with HWL, but finally failed, yet all three of them had denied this. During 2004, paparazzis took pictures of ZaiZai hanging out with HWL at night, although there were other friends with them, but both were acting very intimate, thus they had to admit that they were dating.

When HWL was filming <E Nan Zhe Ji Dian>, ZaiZai often brought junk food to visit her, even the director got used it, everytime he saw ZaiZai, he would say, "There he comes again." But last month, ZaiZai was rumoured to be undergoing depression and HWL had complained to her friends that ZaiZai is always sticking around with her. Usually, HWL would go on a date with ZaiZai once she's got time, but recently, she would initiatively ask other people to have a meal or watch movies with her.

Yet, two weeks ago, someone had seen ZaiZai and HWL eating together in a restaurant, then they went to hang around, their relationship sure is confusing.

Yesterday, HWLdidn't film, her manager didn't respond to anything, but only said ZaiZai and HWL are only getting some time to cool down. As for ZaiZai having another love interest, rumoured to be either Da S or Valen Hsu, no one has responded to this rumour yet.

Don't know whether I should be happy or unhappy about this news. I was really shocked when I heard Zai got into a car accident. But happy that Barbie went to comfort him. Also, now, it's not only Apple Daily that is publishing this rumour. Glad to see other newspapers publishing it too. More news, but see if they're worth translating.

But, the fact was that, their work schedules were not affected at all. Da S had gone to Shanghai early this morning to attend a top notch party at 8.30 in the night. Zaizai is resting at home and paying attention to the start production of a new drama, Silence.
As to Zaizai's rumours, it would definately be the attention of the party tonight and Da S has already knew it. Her PR company is having headaches as to how they should allow the media to interview but not move the attention point. As to Zaizai, his manager, Yao Yi Jun expressed, korean actress, Li En Hui have already come to taiwan's comic ritz to make preparations for the new drama and Zaizai and Li En Hui would be starring as the leads in the show. However, although Zaizai was not injured in the recent car accident, his mood have more or less been affected. He's resting at home now waiting to flim with Li En Hui.

On July 13, ZaiZai, Vic Zhou, got into a car accident. There were some media that reported that the first person to have arrived was Da S, Da S and Zai's relationship seems to be very mysterious. Another news was that ZaiZai and his girlfriend, Hsu Wei Lun, has broken up. Regarding this news, Da S, who is attending an Avon promotion in Shanghai, finally responded. She said that she and ZaiZai are very very good friends to start with. As for ZaiZai cheating on HWL, she said 'I don't know' twice.

Da S especially went to Shanghai to promote Avon. Wearing a baby purple gown with colour makeup, which is this year's favourite, Da S appeared to be shining throughout the event. After Zhou Yu Min “ZaiZai” had a car accident on the national highway, it also brought out the rumour that he was being unfaithful with Da S.
