Magandang pamilya, pangarap ni Vhong

NANGANGARAP din si Vhong Navarro magkaroon ng isang magandang pamilya. Gusto niyang magkaroon ng isang masaya at buong pamilya na hindi nangyari sa kanila ng ex-wife niyang si Bianca Lapus kahit biniyayaan sila ng isang anak na la-lake. Humantong sa hiwalayan ang kanilang relasyon at hinihintay na lang ni Vhong ang desisyon ng korte sa annulment case na ipinayl niya.
He is not allowed to talk about it kaya non-committal si Vhong kapag tinatanong siya tungkol sa estado ng relasyon nila ni Desiree del Valle. Baka raw kasi makaapekto sa proseso ng annulment ng kasal nila ni Bianca.

May isa pang anak si Vhong sa isang non-showbiz girl. Nalulungkot daw siya na may kahalong guilt dahil hindi niya madalas nakakasama ang mga anak niya. Super busy siya sa kanyang work kaya hindi niya halos nagagampanan ang pagiging daddy sa mga anak niya.

Tulad ngayon na busy si Vhong sa promotion ng "Supah Papalicious" na showing on March 22 (Black Saturday). Aniya medyo nahirapan siya sa movie na ito dahil apat ang kanyang characters. Four hours ang make-up sa bawa’t character. "Nakakapagod dahil parang four times ng work pero grabe ang feeling ko kapag pinapanood ko ang pelikula. Natutuwa kami sa iba’t ibang characters na ginagampanan ko," sey ni Vhong.

“Priscilla is wife material” – John

“Priscilla Meirelles is like a Filipina. She knows how to cook, she loves her family and very maasikaso,” revealed John Estrada who came with Willie Revillame, Dinky Doo and Katya Montenegro during the Belo activity at Trinoma last night. He said that his four children by Janice de Leon had met her and they hit it off beautifully. John added, “They call her ate. Remember that my eldest daughter is 16. Priscilla is 24.” John met Priscilla four years ago a party for the 2004 Miss Earth which she participated and proceeded to win. They met again last year and he reintroduced himself to her. When he learned she’s no longer with her boyfriend, that’s when he courted her And won her as girlfriend.

If she is wife material, when is he planning to marry her? John answered, “We’re not in a hurry to do that. Priscilla said she’ll think of marrying when she’s 28. I don’t think we’ll marry after five years. We’d like to pursue our respective careers, get to know each other better and enjoy what we have right now.”

John Estrada revealed he’s leaving on the 17th for the UK to start shooting “Caregiver” with Megastar Sharon Cuneta playing as his wife and Makisig Morales as their son. He’s also attending an F1 car racing event in Malaysia with Richard Gomez, Lucy Torres and girlfriend Priscilla.

Willie to co-produce movie with OctoArts

As the fireworks bloom in the sky during the opening of the Belo Medical Clinic in Trinoma and the launching of the second edition of its “Skin” magazine, guest Willie Revillame revealed to Yehey! Entertainment he is co-producing and starring in a movie entitled “Mister Housewife.” Based on the screenplay of Mel del Rosario, Willie will play the role of a househusband forced to take his wife’s duties when she started working abroad. This will be Willie’s comeback movie since he his last movie with Eddie Garcia as directed by Jun Aristorenas. Best friend Randy Santiago will direct. He and other best friend John Estrada will do cameo roles.

The new Belo Clinic is located at the 3rd level of Trinoma.

Breaking buzz: Willie categorically stated he’s not courting anybody right now. He mentioned Christine Reyes who said he’s old for him.

Excited si Ms. D sa role niya bilang gangster head, pero naloka siya na at her age, pag-aaksyunin siya with matching barilan at takbuhan.

Anyways, can’t help but ask her kung totoong hindi siya pabor sa relasyong Tintin and Oyo, and this is not true raw.

In the first place, wala naman daw relasyon ang dalawa at si Oyo na mismo ang nagsasabi sa kanya nito.

Say pa ni Ms. D, her son would tell her naman daw kung meron and she wouldn’t mind at all dahil malaki na raw ito.

CHITO Roño was at the presscon for his ward Vhong Navarro for “Supah Papalicious” and he said they’ve shot all the scenes here in Manila of Sharon Cuneta for Star Cinema’s “Caregiver”. “That’s only about 20% of the film,” he adds. “Ang 80% will be shot in London. Dapat, may scenes din sa Prague but may problem daw sa permits with their Artists Union, so we’ll just focus on London.”

The Megastar herself confirmed this. They’re leaving for London after the Holy Week with other members of the cast that include John Estrada, Rica Peralejo and Makisig Morales. London is a very expensive city so they have to maximize their stay there to save on production cost. The movie is meant to be Star’s Mother’s Day presentation in May, just like “Anak” of Ate Vi before.

“This is my comeback movie so gusto ko maging maganda talaga,” adds Shawie. “It’s only when I faced the cameras again that I realized how much I miss doing movies. Grabe. Inspired din ako dahil first time ko to work with Direk Chito and we’re all pleased with the rushes of the scenes we’ve already shot.”

Shawie is sad that some writers seem to want her and daughter KC to fight. Someone wrote she was seen crying because KC doesn’t want to consult her anymore regarding her own career decisions. It’s said KC didn’t even inform that she’ll guest in “Maalaala Mo Kaya” and that she’ll do a sexy pictorial in swimsuit that was published in some papers.

“I really don’t know kung bakit pati kaming mag-ina, iniintriga pa,” she sighs. “KC even dedicated her first appearance in ‘Maalaala’ to me at kung ako man, may katawang kasingganda ng sa anak ko, aba, ’di magpapa-pictorial din ako. The truth is I’m not managing my daughter’s career kundi si Sandra Chavez, kaya hindi ako nakikialam sa kanya. I can share my thoughts but I will never make pakialam, kaya huwag na lang sana kaming intrigahin at pag-awaying mag-ina.”

The derogatory remarks made by Lolit Solis against Ruffa Gutierrez qualifies for a court case but Annabelle Rama’s daughter decided not to file. Being a Christian, Ruffa turned the other cheek, so to speak, by forgiving her. As evidenced by this incidence, Lolit is capable of stepping on the rights of others as she did in the case of Piolo Pascual and Sam Milby who she accused of engaging in homosexual act. Whether the joint libel case filed by them against Lolit has prima facie evidence will be decided soon. The buzz is that it will be released between March 15 to April 15. Ruffa’s case should tell the fiscal who will decide on this that Lolit has the habit of maligning stars but this should have on basis on his decision.

Natigil ang taping at agad dinala si Sid sa ospital. Ngayon ay nakasuot siya ng leg immobilizer at kasalukuyang nagpapagaling. Naka-schedule rin siyang magpa-MRI para malaman ang tunay na lagay ng kanyang binti. Babalik siya sa paggawa ng sariling stunts kapag gumaling na ang binti niya.

Dalawang teleserye, isang sitcom at dalawang pelikula ang kasalukuyang di umano’y alok sa actor. Kung sakaling tatangapin daw ito nang actor ay makakasama ito sa teleseryeng “Betty La Fea” at isang fantaserye na wala pang title, pero malamang na si ms. Gretchen Baretto ang makasama niya dito. Sa sitcom naman ay makakasama niya ang sina Ms. Gloria Romero, John Estrada at dati niyang nakaalitan na si ms. Ai Ai Delas Alas. Sa pelikula naman ay ang megastar na si ms. Umuwi mula sa ibang bansa ang isang dati nilang kasama, ito ngayon ang inaakit nilang bu*ma*lik sa kanilang grupo, pero mukhang hindi sila ma*pag*bibigyan ng dati nilang kasamahan.

Ayon sa aming source, “Masyado kasing main*triga sa grupong yun, lagi silang nagkakaroon ng argumento, wala silang nagtatagal na bokalista dahil sila-sila ang naglalaglagan sa loob.

“Hindi sila makasikad nang husto ngayon dahil wala silang pampain na bokalista, tanggapin natin ang katotohanan na magagaling man silang musi*kero, e, bokalista pa rin ang dinadayo ng audience.

“Yun ang wala sila ngayon, sila-sila lang ang kuma*kanta, kaya hindi sila maka*laban nang saba*yan ngayon. Tina*wagan nila si ______ (dating boka*lista ng banda), baka raw gusto niyang ku*man*ta muna sa grupo habang nan*dito pa siya.

“Ngayon nila maiisipang imbitahin yung tao, saman*talang nung magka*ka*sama pa sila, pinag*kakaisahan nila yung tao? May sarili na siyang career ngayon, hindi na pambanda ang lebel niya,” kuwento ng aming source.

Sayang ang grupong ito, nakiki*pag*hatawan na sila noon sa iba pang mga sikat na ban*da, pero ang problema lang ay palagi silang ina*alisan ng ka*nilang bokalista.

Nakakuwentuhan namin nung isang hapon ang mga magulang ni Toni Gonzaga, sina Daddy Carlito at Mommy Pinty, na basta may libreng panahon sila ay hindi nakalilimot na mangumusta sa kanilang mga kaibigan.

Dahil sa sobrang pagka-busy ngayon ni Toni ay simple lang ang aming tanong sa mag-asawa, nakikita pa ba nila ang kanilang anak?

Sabi ni Daddy Carlito, “Kaninang umaga, ako ang gumising sa kanya, pero yung regular na pagkikita, hindi gaanong nangyayari sa amin yun, dahil kapag umuuwi siya, tulog na kami ng mommy niya.

Ngayong Semana Santa ay magiging abala ang pa*milya sa gaganaping Canta*ta sa kanilang church. Sa mga hindi pa nakakaalam, sina Toni at Cathy ay lumaki sa kapilya, Kristiyano sila.

Nung hindi pa abala sa kanyang pag-aartista si Toni ay guro ito sa CYF (Christian Youth Fellow*ship), meron silang Bible study, nagtuturo ring kumanta ang dalaga sa mga ba*tang miyembro ng kanilang church.

Pero sa kabila ng pagiging abala ni Toni ay nagagawa pa rin nitong maglaan ng panahon sa regular na pagpunta sa simbahan, pagka*ta*pos ng ASAP ’08 ay sabay silang nagsisimba ni Direk Paul Soriano, pareho silang Christian.

Miyembro ng choir ng kanilang church sina Daddy Carlito at Mommy Pinty, kapatid ng ama ni Toni ang kanilang conductor, may pagma*ma*nahan ang ganda ng boses ng sikat na aktres-TV host.

Sa mga kasama sa hanapbuhay na kung minsan ay hindi gaanong nabibigyan ng panahon ni Toni, sina Daddy Carlito at Mommy Pinty na ang humihingi ng dispensa, sa kanila, sila na ang humihingi ng pang-uunawa.

Ayaw na nilang magsabi pa ng mga dahilan, basta ang sa kanila, sana raw ay mapagpa*sensi*yahan na ng mga kapatid namin sa hanapbuhay ang kanilang anak sa mumunti nitong kaka*pusan.

Nagiging daring na si Angel Locsin ‘huh! Pumayag siya na revealing swimsuit ang isuot niya para sa isang magazine pictorial at ngayon, two-piece swimsuit ang kanyang outfit sa mga eksena niya sa Lobo.

In fairness, maganda ang katawan ni Angel at agaw-pansin ang kanyang nagmumurang dibdib.

Maraming sexy star ang patataubin ni Angel kapag nagpaseksi ito sa pelikula dahil likas ang kanyang kaseksihan.

Vhong is ‘Supah Papalicious’

Vhong Navarro is undeniably the most successful young comedian of his generation.

This dancer-turned-television star has been getting leading movie roles in "Gagamboy," "Mr. Suave" (inspired by the hit song), TV’s "Lastikman" and now, as the title role in Star Cinema’s comedy-romance "Supah Papalicious."

When Vhong shifted from dancing to acting, starting as a sidekick of action stars (Cesar Montano, ect.) and as "support" of comedy icons like Dolphy in the ABS-CBN sitcoms), people predicted that was not another flash-in-the-pan star.

"I learn from my idols," said Vhong explaining why he has lasted this long. "I don’t take things for granted. For me, every role, every assignment, is a challenge and I can hurdle the challenges only by constantly growing. You grow by observing and learning from the pros. Besides Dolphy, my favorite comedians are Jim Carrey and Adam Sandler. I watch their movies and I learn a lot from them."

In "Supah Papalicious," directed by Gilbert Perez, Vhong plays, as the title implies, a ladies man who appears "super-delicious" to women. In fact, the character he’s playing is named Adonis (so nobody misses the point), an orphan who grows up in an orphanage and, in the "outside" world, falls in love with a "supah delicious" girl who’s a single mom, played by Valerie Conception (with Makisig Morales as her son). Inside the orphanage, Adonis would play make-believe with his fellow orphans by creating their own imaginary families from cutouts of magazine pictures and from their own.

Vhong said Adonis is one of the most interesting characters he has ever played.

WOULD you believe that Vhong Navarro’s real name is Ferdinand Navarro?

He was named after late President Ferdinand Marcos. His nickname is Bong, after the name naman of President Marcos’ only son, Bongbong.

Bongbong is currently Ilocos Norte congressman.

Vhong changed the spelling of his nickname when he became a comedian.

His stepping stone to being the comedian to reckon with now was when he played sidekick to the late Rico Yan in Got to Believe.

His first starring role was in Mr. Suwabe.

Two of his biggest hits were D’Anothers and Agent X-44. Vhong had Pokwang and Mura as co-stars in both movies.

“Feeling ko, lucky charm ko ang dalawang iyan,” he declared.

Pokwang and Mura are again with Vhong in his soon-to-be released comedy movie, Supah Papalicious.

So I missed the camera so much! Na-miss ko sobra yung taping, shooting… At bored din ako. Kaya nung tumawag manager ko na shooting na agad bukas, tumalon ako sa tuwa!"

In Korea, it's a common practice to get artists to star in another star’s music video. Sandy considers herself doubly lucky not just to get the lead role in the video, but also to be paired opposite Top, a member of the popular band Big Bang. She and Top also have a kissing scene in the music video. When news of the kiss spread online, it caused a major uproar among Top's rabid fans who were curious to find out who she was, making “Sandara Park” the most-searched name in a Korean entertainment portal last week.

A Kapuso watching Kapamilya dramas? Grabeh!!! Nanonood siya ng Maging Sino Ka Man at paborito si Sam at Lobo? WHO’S IN, WHO’S OUT

IN the Fit ‘N Right camp last Saturday, two “pasaway” challengers of Got 2B Fit were booted out. First was Fil-Italian Alex Linderberg, who’s called Lindenburger by other campers because of his huge appetite for food. Alex couldn’t help but cry as he was leaving. “I’d miss waking up early in the morning to work out at ‘yung kulitan namin ng iba pang campers,” he says. “I’ll also miss the challenges that we’re asked to do each week. Most of all, I’d miss Joanne, who became my best friend in our camp in Laurel, Batangas, kaya inihabilin ko siya sa mga kasama naming sila na ang bahala sa kanya.”

Alex was voted out as he is reportedly always late during workouts. “He’s just playing and not serious with our fitness program,” says Gayle.

This is why when he got nominated again, the Fit ‘n Right Council of Precious Lara Quigaman, Zanjoe Marudo and Paolo Villarroel (brother of Carmina) eliminated him. Also voted out was single mom Amy Macuto from Davao. Other campers say she doesn’t follow their fitness instructors “at madalas magdabog at maging emotional when she doesn’t get what she wants.”

Amy graciously accepted the decision that she be ousted. She even wore her traditional ethnic Mandaya outfit that was her signature get-up inside the camp. “Finally, I’ll see my baby again who’s back home in Davao,” she said. “Thankful na rin ako sa Fit ‘N Right dahil sexy na ako uli and I got a headstart in showbiz with my exposure in three episodes of the show.”

The remaining six contestants in Fit ‘n Right Challenge are Joanne Ignacio, Gayle Valencia, Julie Puentenegra, Elmer Sanga, JR Marfori and Jim Oller. Two of them have lost their ka-love teams. Elmer lost Angel while Joanne lost Alex, both voted out. The remaining love teams are that of Julie-Jim and JR-Gayle. Julie openly says Jim is her boyfriend, but in a joking manner. JR and Gayle are often teased for having a crush with one another and they really look good together, being tisoy and tisay.

One more pair will be eliminated this weekend and the two remaining pairs will then be brought to Boracay for the Grand Finals. Find out who’d be eliminated tomorrow at 9:30 p.m. on ABS-CBN.

After the much publicized announcement that she is going to be the playing the female lead role in the Philippine adaptation of the Koreanovela My Girl, she granted an interview about how she felt. Of course nasulat na naiyak sa tuwa ang batang aktres upon learning the good news nga. And that time, hindi din niya alam na si Gerald Anderson ang magiging kapareha niya.

Siyempre, Kim said na gusto niya si Gerald daw ang ka-partner niya kasi magaan na daw ang loob niya sa actor at talaga nga naming may rapport sila at tanggap na tanggap ng mga fans. Pero we posed the question kung hindi pwede si Gerald, say niya na she finds Sam Milby cute at second choice niya ito.

O diba? Parehong Fil-am actors pa ha!

Pati si Makisig Morales, iniintriga na insecure daw siya sa success ni Jairus Aquino.

You see, Jairus was just Makisig’s sidekick in the successful Super Inggo `serye pero ngayon, binigyan na ng starring role si Jairus sa Kung-fu Kids which incidentally, is the no.1 show nationwide in the ratings.

Sikat na sikat si Jairus ngayon at talagang patok na patok sa kids at sa lahat ng Kapamilya ang Kung-Fu Kids.

Samantala, nawala naman daw sa limelight si Makisig.

But that’s not the case. Makisig is part of Super Papalicious, Star Cinema’s latest comedy offering also starring Vhong Navarro and is also doing Caregiver with no less than the Mega star Sharon Cuneta. Of course, busy din ang bagets sa upcoming `serye na Utoy.

Anyway, Makisig himself says na happy daw siya sa success ni Jairus at hindi totoong insecure siya.

According to a source, Star Cinema executives are still deliberating on the possible Richard Gutierrez and KC Concepcion movie.

Nagdadalawang isip ang drama muna ng Star Cinema because they are really hell bent on pushing through with the initial project of KC with John Lloyd Cruz. Baka naman daw kasi kung mauna ang Richard-KC project ay medyo hindi na tangkilikin ang John Lloyd-KC movie kasi they will clamor for more. Or even other male stars who are lined-up to be paired with KC might suffer too.

So the pair’s grandiose dream of ending the network wars might be on hold too hehehe

Eto naman eh. Whatever or whoever the pair or stars in a movie are, as long as it’s a good movie that boasts a brilliant storyline and script, sterling acting and excellent directing, people will line up to see your movie.

Nakakakilig nga ang Richard and KC movie if ever the movie pushes through, don’t get me wrong.

But if it pushes through, make sure lang na hindi siya half-baked. Yun’ tipong ginawan ng movie to strike while the iron is hot. Pag-isipan ng mabuti how to allocate the star power of the two and how to put it in good use.

Maybe it’s not to end the network wars but hopefully, the Richard-KC project would be something that would spark the interest of moviegoers and bring back the heyday of people lining up in theatres to bring back the true movie experience.

Medyo nagka-slight ugong ang showbizness nung lumabas ang balita na si Jason Abalos ay may anak na daw. If the tabloids were correct, then jason has fatherd a child out of wedlock with a much more mature and older lawyer.

But the young actor flatly denies this and says, “Wala po akong anak. At kung totoo man pong meron nga akong anak, aalagaan ko ang bata. Hindi ko siya ipamimigay kahit kanino. Ako pa mismo at ang family ko ang magpapalaki sa kanya.”

He is even ready to undergo a DNA test to disprove the allegations. “Kahit po sa korte pa kami makarating, kaya ko pong sabihin na wala akong anak!”

He also cleared the issues that he doesn’t know the lawyerpersonally. He says that if the lawyer has the guts to spread this issue, then he too has the guts to deny all these.

Pero aminin niyo. Medyo weird itong statement na ito ha about him being intimate with the lawyer: “Hindi po totoo yun. Hindi ko po siya kilala. Kung nagkita man kami nung minsan, hindi ko po alam na siya yun. Matagal na nga hindi gumawa ng project together si Piolo Pascual and Judy Ann Santos. Many miss their loveteam, whether in the big screen or on TV.

Which is kinda sad because ever since the two were brought together, talagang patok na patok sa lahat ang kanilang tambalan. Well of course, Alfie Lorenzo, Judy Ann Santos’ manager is still adamant that the two will not do anything together.

Well in fairness naman even if they’re doing their own thing, successful naman si Piolo and Judy Ann on their own. Of course, Judy Ann is still enjoying the tremendous success of Ysabella with her real life boyfriend Ryan Agoncillo and their movie Sakal Sakali Saklolo made a killing in the box-office in the recent Metro Manila Film Festival.

While Piolo is riding high in the success of Lobo, and based on the recounts of his last trip in Dubai for TFC, confirmed na hit na hit din sa ating OFW sang tambalan niya with Angel Locsin.

Lumabas sa mga dyaryo dati that the first Pinoy Dream Academy Big Winner na si Yeng Constantino ay tumakbo sa dati niyang manager at may utang daw siya dito ng milyon-milyones.

Ang manager na ito ay dati pa daw manager ni Yeng even before she joined the reality show at nung nanalo siya, Dream Big Productions ang nag-handle sa career niya at ang manager na ito ay co-manager niya.

Pero one year lang ang contract niya with Dream Big and together with selected PDA scholars, she was turned over to Star Magic who is currently managing her career.

Baka naman since Star Magic artist na siya deadma na siya sa dating manager niya kaya din a niya binibigyan ng commission.

“Hindi po totoo `yun,” says Yeng. “Hindi ko nga po alam kung saan nangaling ang mga tsismis na iyun eh. Regular ko nakikita manager ko at binibigay po namin ng papa ko ang commission niya.”

nung kapuso pa ako, marami sa mga friends ko ang nagsabing magaganda ang teleserye sa dos. wa ako care siyempre puro ratings din lang ang pinagbabasehan ko. pero nung lumipat na si angel sa dos at sobrang demolition ang ginawa ng gma sa knya, naawa ako. then i slowly inched my way back to abs programs. at nakita ko ang malaking kaibahan. good storyline, great actors, superb production values. tama lang naman pala na ginusto ni angel ang career move for her professional growth. di sya nagkamali ng desisyon. LOBO is her finest tv project ever. kaya kung sinasabi ni lolit na mas pinapanood nya ang MSKM and LOBO, sya man ay aminadong mas pulido gumawa ng teleserye ang dos.

i have my reservations though. kc puro #1 daw sa ratings ang corrupted tagalized marimar at kahit mga tsinoy forumers dito ang syang nagsasabing pumangit ang story pero kahit na insensitive sila sa mga viewers nito, making them dumber and dumbest, patuloy na pinagyayabang ang ratings nito. kaya nga lagi kong sinasabi, sa kanila na ang ratings, sa dos ang quality programming. kaya nga pag pilit na pinagsasabong ang marimaw sa lobo, parang nagkumpara naman ng isang basura sa isang obra maestra. sa tutoo lang. bato bato sa langit, ang tamaan dapat imbes na magalit ay mag-improve.;)

A Kapuso watching Kapamilya dramas? Grabeh!!! Nanonood siya ng Maging Sino Ka Man at paborito si Sam at Lobo? Kung nanonood siya ng mga ito, sana huwag na lang siyang nagsulat ng article na gay sina Piolo at si Sam. Then sasabihin niya na paborito niya si Sam na nag-demanda sa kanya at ang show ni Piolo. We don't know!!!

In fairness, may point siya na magaling gumawa ng dramas ang dos especially iyung Primetime Bida nila.

kaya nga when i read this, i had reservations. kc unang una bakit kung hinahangaan mo ang isang tao ke artista yan o hindi, maingat ka na magsalita ng makasisira sa kanya. pero inspite of the number of witnesses who stood by piolo and sam, nagpapatunay na nung mga oras na sinabi nyang nakita nyang magkasama ang 2 sa sofitel, ay wala sila dun pero sige pa din si lolit at pinagpipilitan at pinaninindigan ang kanyang naisulat na. para ngang kung hihimayin ang story, mukhang hindi 1st person account. maaaring me makating dila lang ang nakakita sa maaaring look-a-like ng 2 ito pero dahil sa naipublish na, hindi na binawi at tlgang AYAW MAGRETRACT. yan kc ang condition na hiningi ng 2 para iurong ang demanda. imagine si piolo kasama si angel sa timex pictorial shoot. si sam ay tila kasama si toni para sa shooting ng movie nila.

hay naku manay lolit, magbago ka na kc lola ka na. matagal tagal na din since the MMFF scam. hindi mo gugustuhin kung makulong ka pa.

same here. almost all of my 7 kaberks ay kapamilya pero we never got into a heated argument over sthg as trivial as network war. kc aminin b4 tlga ng marimaw, halos di ganun katindi kung meron man. they got to watch mulawin pa nga pero ako tlga i never watched marina nor krystala khit na yung 2 kong super close friends gustong gusto yun. what is funny though, i never got to appreciate how good an actor piolo is until i jumped ship, kasabay ni angel. he is my best pal's super fave. ako kc nun si echo lang. madaya nga ako kc she went to watch SANTA SANTITA with me pero never ko sya sinamahan pag manood sya ng piolo film. now i couldn't help but be amazed how far he has gone in this industry. kung di pa dahil sa LOBO, di ko malalaman ang achievements nya na sangkaterba na pala. now i am a fan just like my best pal. unfortunately, she has migrated to OZ but we exchanged pleasantries thru eml and super watch sya ng LOBO and other tfc programs. at tska, back in the good old days, my family watched all the good teleseryes of the past, our favorite being PANGAKO SA YO, kaya nga naging fan ako ni echo. sayang lang, kung kelan balik dos ako, wla sya kahit isang show.

yah malapit lang ang ABS sa UST. maybe 10 minutes sa ABS-CBN ka na..:cool:uy hindi ah! haha! mga 20-30 minutes ang byahe papuntang ABSCBN from UST... depende sa traffic pa yun at depende rin kung madali ka makakasakay ng fx papuntang sm fairview... hindi pa syemre kasama ang paglalakad mo from quezon avenue going to mother ignacia... even at night, in a car, hindi pa rin kaya ng 10 minutes travel ang UST-ABSCBN promise... :D

Angel Locsin is obviously unlike the other girls Luis "Lucky" Manzano used to date because we have never seen him this frank and honest about his feelings for a girl.

At a recent gathering where Luis was invited as host, he reportedly kept referring to someone who is currently making him happy. Luis didn't mention Angel's name but he did not really have to.

Even his mom, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos-Recto agrees that she has never seen her firstborn so happy.

nung kapuso pa ako, marami sa mga friends ko ang nagsabing magaganda ang teleserye sa dos. wa ako care siyempre puro ratings din lang ang pinagbabasehan ko. pero nung lumipat na si angel sa dos at sobrang demolition ang ginawa ng gma sa knya, naawa ako. then i slowly inched my way back to abs programs. at nakita ko ang malaking kaibahan. good storyline, great actors, superb production values. tama lang naman pala na ginusto ni angel ang career move for her professional growth. di sya nagkamali ng desisyon. LOBO is her finest tv project ever. kaya kung sinasabi ni lolit na mas pinapanood nya ang MSKM and LOBO, sya man ay aminadong mas pulido gumawa ng teleserye ang dos.
Uy docirene natutuwa ako sayo...super converted na sa kapamilya.
Sad nga lang kase marami pa rin silang naloloko dahil sa ratings na pinapakita..:(

siguro kelangan niya mag-"praise" release ng mga gma programs kc andun ang mga alaga nya. kapag wlang projects mga alaga niya, wla din syang raket. tapos me show pa sya dun.

i have my reservations though. kc puro #1 daw sa ratings ang corrupted tagalized marimar at kahit mga tsinoy forumers dito ang syang nagsasabing pumangit ang story pero kahit na insensitive sila sa mga viewers nito, making them dumber and dumbest, patuloy na pinagyayabang ang ratings nito. kaya nga lagi kong sinasabi, sa kanila na ang ratings, sa dos ang quality programming. kaya nga pag pilit na pinagsasabong ang marimaw sa lobo, parang nagkumpara naman ng isang basura sa isang obra maestra. sa tutoo lang. bato bato sa langit, ang tamaan dapat imbes na magalit ay mag-improve.;)
tama ka naman eh..ipagkumpara ba ang ginto(LOBO) sa tanso(Marimaw)??????unfair naman yun sa ginto di ba???
Lahat ng aspect sa Lobo ay pinaghirapan at pinag-isipang mabuti kaya naman ang result eh satisfaction ng viewers...wala tayong pakialam sa ratings!!!

Saturday, March 15, 2008 Ang bilis kumalat ng balitang hindi tuloy si Gabby Concepcion sa GMA Films movie na pagsasa*mahan sana nila nina Jolina Magdangal, Mark Herras, Rhian Ramos, Eugene Domingo at Rufa Mae Quinto. Kinumpirma ito ni Noel Ferrer, ang Project Development Manager and Head of Synergy Department at ang sinabing dahilan ay nag-decide ang GMA Films at si Gabby na ibang project na lang ang gawin ng actor.

Nakapirma na ng kontrata sa GMA Films at tumanggap na si Gabby ng down payment para sa comeback movie niya, kaya kailangan pa rin niyang gumawa ng pelikula sa kompanya ni Annette Gozon-Abrogar.

Si Dennis Trillo ang ipinalit kay Gabby at siya na ang makakapareha ni Rufa Mae Quinto. May interest at curiousity ang tao sa tambalang ito’t na-link sila dati at bale ba, pareho silang single ngayon. Kundi March 31 (kasabay ni Rufa Mae) ay sa April 4 (kasabay nina Mark at Rhian) ang alis ni Dennis.

Dahil sa pagbabago ng cast, hindi na rin My Holiday-Off (The Love Cruise) ang title ng movie, kundi ITALY o I Trust And Love You, pero si Mark Reyes pa rin ang director.

ABS-CBN inks deal with PBA for Ateneo-La Salle benefit game

ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. president Charo Santos-Concio and Philippine Basketball Association Chairman of the Board of Governors Mr. Antonio Chua (Red Bull Barako) led the contract signing for the 1st PBA Ateneo-La Salle Showdown - a benefit game for the Players' Educational Trust Fund.

Also present were Peter Musngi, ABS-CBN Vice-President for Sports; Alberto Dy Sun, President and CEO Yakult Philippines Inc.; and Ricky Santos, PBA Technical Operations Director.

Former Blue Eagles and Green Archers currently playing in the PBA will make up the rosters of the teams that will play on March 23 at the Araneta Coliseum, Quezon City. The game will be aired live on Studio 23 at 3:30 pm.

The Ateneo team, coached by Talk N Text mentor Chot Reyes, will be composed of players Enrico Villanueva, Larry Fonacier, JC Intal, Paolo Bugia, Wesley Gonzales, LA Tenorio, Doug Kramer, Macky Escalona, Magnum Membrere, Gec Chia and veteran Olsen Racela.

On the other hand, the La Salle squad will be coached by Barangay Ginebra's Jong Uichico and have La Salle players RenRen Ritualo, Don Allado, Mark Telan, Mark Cardona, Mike Cortez, Adonis Sta. Maria, Ryan Arana, Carlo Sharma, Willie Wilson, Joseph Yeo, JunJun Cabatu and JR Aquino.

The benefit game was conceptualized by PBA Commissioner Sonny Barrios and the Board of Governors with the project's proceeds going directly to the Educational Trust Fund (ETF).

The Ateneo-La Salle charity game will be presented by Yakult.

ETF, which handles the tuition fees of the children of former PBA players, is more important now, after some basketball celebrities got embroiled in yet another investor scam.

Some of those affected by the latest scam involving the Royal Manchester Five Trading Corporation include Ginebra Gin Kings players Rafi Reavis (P8.9 million); Johnny and his wife Mary Ann Abarrientos (P6.9 million, with another P2.5 million from Johnny); Mark Macapagal (P2.5 million), former Purefoods Hotdogs coach Eric Altamirano and his wife Marissa (P1.2 million and P0.889 million, respectively), and Alaska cager Edward Juinio (P7.2 million).

Along with almost 3,000 other investors, they claim to have lost at least P2.1 billion in a currency investment scam allegedly engineered by RMF's President Cyrus Yap Hao, who hails from Pilar, Sorsogon; and Renato San Juan, Vice President for Marketing.

"It (the benefit game) is timely, considering the recent news about scams," said Dizon.

Sa latest ultrasound test daw ni Kris, six weeks preggy na siya’t nakita na ang gestational sac sa kanyang sinapupunan. Pero, wala pa ring makitang fetal pole.

“However, while hCG levels do rise in blighted ovum pregnancies, they increase very slowly and will actually begin to taper off eventually. Falling hCG levels is often the first sign that something may be wrong with your pregnancy.

“Unforutnately, the exact cause of a blighted ovum is unknown. However, most experts reason that some sort of chromosomal abnormality with either the egg or sperm prevents normal development from occurring.

“As a result, your body senses that something is not quite right with the fertilized egg and stops developing it. Many consider this to be your body’s natural way of ensuring a healthy pregnancy and baby.

“Although chromosomal abnormalities are suspected, they are not thought to indicative of future problems. Additionally, a blighted ovum usually happens no more than once. Therefore, you will not be referred for genetic testing unless you experience two or more consecutive miscarriages.

“In some cases, a blighted ovum may occur in a twin pregnancy. In this instance, one of the fertilized eggs fails to develop properly while the second does. However, the blighted ovum does not interfere with development of the second fertilized egg. In a twin pregnancy, a blighted ovum may also be referred to as a blighted twin.

“Symptoms of a blighted ovum pregnancy include spotting, cramps, vaginal bleeding as your hCG levels begin to fall, and/or failure to detect a fetal heartbeat by the 12th week of pregnancy. Additionally, an ultrasound showing an empty gestational sac can confirm that you have a blighted ovum.

“Pregnancy after a blighted ovum is usually no problem as a blighted ovum does not affect your fertility. However, most doctors will recommend that you wait anywhere from one to three months before trying to conceive again.

“You may choose to wait even longer than that, though, as experiencing a miscarriage can be emotionally upsetting. Even if you are physically ready to conceive, you may not be emotionally ready. Take your time to grieve if that is what feels right for you.”

Sinasabi nila na ang loveteam na nakapag-akyat ng pinaka malaking pera, ibig sabihin ay nakagawa ng pinaka malaking hit sa una nilang pagtatambal ay sina Sharon Cuneta at Gabby Concepcion.

Pagkatapos ng kanilang blockbuster na Dear Heart, nasundan pa iyon ng marami pang hit movies na pinagtambalan nilang dalawa, at siguro nga kung hindi nagkaroon ng problema at nagkahiwalay sila, baka hanggang ngayon hit pa rin ang kanilang love team.

Ngayon naman, ang mismong anak nina Sharon at Gabby na si KC Concepcion ang sinasabi nilang posibleng makasira ng record sa takilya ng kanyang mga magulang kung magagawa nga niya ang pelikulang kasama si Ri-chard Gutierrez, na itinuturing namang pinakasikat na matinee idol sa ngayon, at tinatawag ding prinsipe ng prime time television.

While we are on KC, she seems to have become the country's leading product endorser whose commercials dominate the TV screen.

In less than a year, the lovely and unarguably talented KC has become a star on her own. She has definitely come into her own, ceasing to attract attention as the daughter of the once massively idolized couple Sharon and Gabby. The 23-year-old beauty has even been asked to be the Unicef's ambassador for hunger prevention among the world's children.

She will most likely be seen on the big screen soon as.KC is now doing an acting workshop for film under actress Malou de Guzman. Star Cinema seems to be the one paying for the workshop as the film company has signed her up to an exclusive movie contract. Her first movie is likely to team her up with John Lloyd Cruz. Star Cinema has yet to reveal the complete details about the first movie project for their prize property who is now tagged as the ‘'Princess of Philippine Showbiz."

GMA Films is actually raring, if not lusting, for KC to do a movie with their very own Richard Gutierrez after Annette Gozon-Abrogar learned that Richard is crazy about KC and that the dashing matinee idol even sent KC imported long-stemmed roses last Valentine's Day.

KC has thanked Richard in public for the flowers. But when asked if Richard is courting her, the demure young lady declared, "Ask him, ask him na lang. I don't know what his intentions are, but we're friends. If there's anything more that he wants out of it, then that's for him to answer, not for me."

Gozon-Abrogar admits that they have sent a feeler to Star Cinema about the possibility of jointly producing a KC-Richard movie. Divulged the lady producer: Kami namang mga film producers, nakatuon sa ikakabuti o sa gusto ng mga manonood. Kaya yung network war, wala naman talaga ‘yan."

KC opined, " It would be great for me and Richard to do a film together in the sense na may bigger purpose than just a loveteam. If this will end the network war, I would gladly do it. Wala namang nangyayari, puro sa diyaryo lang ‘yan. Sana mangyari sa totoong buhay para masimulan na."

It sounds at most quixotic for the lawyer-turned-film producer to dream of a co-production between Star Cinema and GMA Films at this time. It also seems naive for her to say that there really is no network war when the two networks are actually in the midst of a court battle.

We simply don't think Star Cinema would allow KC's launching movie to be a co-production with rival GMA Films. That would be the most stupid thing to do.

Stars usually deny their romantic relationships for fear it will affect their career, but that does not stop reporters from asking. When asked, however, Vhong Navarro, lead star of Star Cinema’s Black Saturday release Supahpapalicious, readily admitted that Desiree del Valle is his girlfriend, confirming the fact for the first time.

This effectively quashed the buzz that he’s courting Valerie Concepcion, his lead actress in Supahpapalicious. Why Desiree? Vhong confesses, “She understands me as an actor, probably because she’s an actress herself. She knows who I am. She loves my two sons. Alam niya na package deal kami when she took me as a boyfriend. She’s always there for me. She does not make unreasonable demands.”

Vhong married an actress with whom he had a son. Their marriage has been going through the process of annulment for four years now, which is why he could not be as open about his relationships as he wants. He also has a son by a non-showbiz girlfriend, which a genetic test confirmed as his child. A girl also claims that he is her father, but when he asked for a genetic test, the alleged mother lost interest. He and actress Diana Zubiri were an item for some time. Desiree was the Star Magic premium talent, who has since transferred to the Viva Artist Agency.

Why is he so attractive to women? Vhong thinks it’s his sense of humor. This may not necessarily be accurate, however, considering he’s the only Streetboys member who has a viable career now. He agrees it must have something to do with his height, which he jokingly compares with John Lloyd Cruz’s. He’s the tallest member in the dance group, which is managed by director Chito Rono. And though he denies it, he’s the most good-looking in the crew.

Whatever the reason is, Vhong has had several movie and two television starrers. This should be proof enough that he’s a star.

LUIS Manzano is mad about accusations that he is using Angel Locsin and other female celebrities linked to him to boost his career.

“I was really turned off,” he said. “I would gladly talk to whoever started this ‘user’ issue and contradict whatever mentality he has. I could explain each and every thing he may hurl against me.”

The “user” issue first cropped up after he was linked to Toni Gonzaga and later to Mariel Rodriguez.

“Let’s admit, Toni was not yet that big then and the issue between us was just blown out of proportion when she transferred here (ABS-CBN). My first team-up with Mariel was in CloseUp when I was not totally into showbiz. So how can people say I’m using them?”

Luis admits the allegations have affected him so much that kept his friendship with Angel away from public view. But is profise with his admiration for her.

“She’s one of the very few celebrities who do charity work without telling anyone. I just learned about it recently when she asked for some advice,” he said. His mother, Batangas Governor Vilma Santos, speaks highly of her, he added.

Asked if there’s a developing romantic relationship, he replied,” Well, we’re going out but it’s hard to put labels kasi and whatever we have right now definitely makes us happy. It’s too showbiz if I use ‘friends’ so I would say ours is more of a bond.”

Now he's talking. Luis Manzano has finally broken his silence about everything that concerns Angel Locsin, after he has been accused of using her and other female celebrities linked to him to boost his career.

Like his dad Edu Manzano and mom, Batangas Gov. Vilma Santos, Luis is not spared from wagging tongues who have accused him of being a "user."

"I was really turned off. I would gladly talk to whoever started this ‘user' issue and contradict whatever mentality he has. I could explain each and every thing he may hurl against me," Luis said at the presscon for his second time endorsement of Kremil-S.

The "user" issue initially stemmed from his being linked to Toni Gonzaga and Mariel Rodriguez. Luis relates he has been close to Toni even prior to her transfer from GMA 7 and before she became a shining star of the Kapamilya network.

As for Mariel, Luis says he knew the Backroom talent even before she set foot in showbiz.

Even his mom, Luis relates, has nothing but good words for Angel when he formally introduced her to his family.

Though the two never got the chance to be together last Valentine's Day as they both were tied down with work, text messages made the occasion sweet and meaningful.

Does this confirm the romantic relationship between them?

Aside from feeling in love, Luis has lots of reasons to smile from ear to ear these days. The Year of the Rat is leading him to the lucky path with lots of work on his shoulders. Unilab, which gained a sales increase of 15 percent in its antiacid brand Kremil-S, renewed its contract with Luis as its endorser. Aside from hosting MYX, the new season of Big Brother Teen Edition is another task waiting for Luis to handle. Acting will keep him busy, too as he will star in a dramaserye soon and topbill Komiks sometime in March. Two movies from Star Cinema and another two from Viva will surely put his acting skill to an acid test.

"Before, I only had one or two (shows) but now pataas na ang eyebugs ko," Luis quips.

Does being the son of good actors pressure Luis?

"My parents never made me feel pressured. They just told me that whatever I want to do, I should give my best. Life always has pressure. It's up to the person how to deal with it. In my case, I always try to put ‘pressure' in a constructive side," Luis replies.

No wonder Luis wades in the intrigue-laden showbiz waters so effortlessly.

Despite your famous family, you have been pretty much sheltered from the nastier side of showbiz. Still, surely there have been stories that have left a bad taste in your mouth. What do you regard as the worst that's been written about you?

Gossip will always be gossip, and stories will always continue to come out regardless of what I or anybody in the industry does. I guess all of us who have been the topic of such bad stories will-up to a certain extent-find them bothersome. The important thing for me is that when I know that my conscience is clear, and I have made my side of the story clear, all else will be left for the public to decide whether to believe you or not.

Not unlike your famous mom, you have been signed to be the local face of a Sony product line, the Cyber-shot digital cameras. Besides the familial connection, what made you commit to the endorsement deal? (Sharon Cuneta is the celebrity endorser of Sony Philippines' WEGA line of TVs.)

Sony Philippines has always been very close to my heart in so many ways, from all their products that are nothing short of amazing, to their very pleasant executives and personnel. I'm really happy that they found me fitting to be the face of Cyber-shot, and have welcomed me to the Sony Philippines family. As for the endorsement, I'm a big travel junkie, whether it's a local or foreign destination. For years and years, I have always used Sony Cyber-shot cameras to capture and store all my pictures and even videos. In short, I love my Cyber-shot because with it, no precious moment is missed. That's what made me agree to do this, I never leave home without it.

Of course, the Sony Cyber-shot cameras are not the only products you are endorsing. There's Globe Telecom, among many others. Is there any concern that you may be spreading yourself thin, or that all these endorsements might result in KC fatigue among consumers?

When it comes to endorsement deals, I never agree to promote any product that I don't personally use or believe in. I might have a number of products that I currently endorse, but I would like everyone to know that who they see in all those billboards, print ads, etc., is really who or how I am. So when I say that I love to use Sony Cyber-shot, you can expect to see me out there with my family or friends taking pictures with my own Cyber-shot camera.

You are now doing goodwill work for the United Nations. How did that come about, and how does it feel to be doing such work?

Aside from dancing and acting, I have always had this certain calling to do my part in the fight against hunger for Filipino children. Even when I was studying abroad, I couldn't help but think about the rising poverty rate in our country and how it affects countless young lives. So I was thrilled when I got the news from the World Food Program (WFP) of the United Nations that they have selected me as their National Ambassador against Hunger after undergoing a rigorous screening process. I feel so blessed and honored to be given this responsibility by the UN, and I'm so glad that I cannot only bring my share of the work but also encourage Filipinos everywhere to help as well. It's a dream come true for me.

As an Ambassador Against Hunger for the WFP, I will get a chance to use my so-called celebrity status to go to many different places in the country, and create an awareness about hunger and, hopefully, spark some resolutions in the battle against this problem.

Your father is reportedly in the middle of making a movie comeback. How does that sit with you?

If the reports are true, I'm sincerely happy for him. He's been out of the country for quite some time now, and for him to just come back home, even more so to return to do the thing he loves, is really something. I couldn't be more content for him if he gets the chance to do both.

Finally, KC Concepcion remains firmly attached to her megastar mom, Sharon Cuneta, which is to be expected, of course. Still, do you look forward to arriving at a time when you come to your own person and persona; when people would see you as a person singular and separate from your famous parents?

Of course, comparison cannot be helped since I'm the daughter of a respected figure in the entertainment industry, just as me driving to make a name for myself cannot be helped as well. But I think the main difference between how I look at things and how most people perceive me, is that they might think that I'm doing my own thing to "break out of a certain shell" made by the image of my mother. But the reason I got into the business is to make myself the best performer I could be, and to make my loved ones proud of what I chose to become.

By Gerard Ramos KC CONCEPCION is an anomaly, especially in the current landscape of celebrity routinely littered with tawdry tabloid news of the latest and increasingly notorious hijinks of wayward progeny of the rich and famous. Especially given the fact that this very beautiful and very rich young woman grew up amid the insane circus that is show business where the marriage of her very famous parents-Gabby Concepcion and Sharon Cuneta-unraveled and dissolved, with her father later taking flight on the heels of a national scandal.

If there was any child of showbiz with the license to act up in the most licentious ways, it should have been KC, born on April 7, 1985, and christened Maria Kristina Cassandra Concepcion.

And yet, here she is finally embracing the spotlight that had courted her from birth, but which she had studiously shunned throughout much of her young life-save for forays into theater, most notably the musical Little Mermaid-coming into her own self and celebrity amid the sort of gossip and intrigue that won't even yield a dozen pages of search results on Google. No doubt, her mother is to be credited for how admirably KC has grown up, but-and we're quite certain that Sharon will agree with us-this young woman of precocious maturity deserves plenty of taps on the back as well. After dabbling in the performing arts through theater, you have recently ventured further into showbiz with a guest appearance on ABS-CBN's Maalaala Mo Kaya? What convinced you to go further into an entertainment career?

There are actually two reasons for my decision to further immerse myself in the entertainment industry. The first is because it is a great opportunity for me to improve all aspects of my life. I grew up in a family that has been in the business for such a long time, and simply being given this chance for me to prove my worth in the arts, and this early in my career, is such an immense honor. Second is that I like being challenged when it comes to my love for performing. Everyone knows that I act, sing and dance onstage, but TV is a whole new thing for me. I loved every minute I was doing Maalaala Mo Kaya, and I hope people were also happy with my debut performance.

Of course, from your mother and your father, you know the downside of a full-blown entertainment career. Are you prepared for the eventualities?

I believe that when people decide to enter something they would like to consider as their "career," everybody would really have to sacrifice certain things. In our case, these might be the times when we lose the free time we once had, or the privacy that everyone else enjoys. But my mom has taught me throughout the years that along with these sacrifices, I will find more ways to value what I have, the people around me who care, and the people I have yet to meet. So I have to say that with this kind of upbringing, I'm more than prepared to face the future.

Together with the limitations that this kind of life sometimes has, it also brings limitless opportunities to do so many worthwhile things.

Ate Vi, tanggap na manugang si Angel

MUKHA ngang tanggap na ni Ate Vi, Vilma Santos to you and me, si Angel Locsin bilang future manugang.

Not only does she have nice words to say about the female star of Lobo, noon palang Pasko, niregaluhan niya ito (Angel) ng panyong Ferragamo.

Alam naman natin na ’di buo ang pagiging fashionista ni Ate Vi without her famous panyo. Kering-keri niya talaga ang palaging pagdadala ng panyo.

Sa sobrang pagpapahalaga raw ni Angel sa panyong ibinigay sa kanya ng future mother-in-law, ayaw niya itong gamitin at itinago lang.

Sobrang naexcite ako kanina kse napanood ko na din ung trailer ng HANAKIMI.. pero so sad na ang panget ng time slot.. di lng dapat students ung target market nila dito.. even yuppies watch koreanovelas/tsinovelas.. kaasar tlaga.. grrrr.. may pag asa pa kaya na magbago isip nila.. pero in my opinion kaya nila pinaaga ung oras kse since sabay na ipapalabas ang hanakimi taiwan and japanese ver gusto nila maunang ipalabas to since the jap ver eh 530 pm pa? tingin nyo? then thereafter isasabay na nila ng oras? i hope so.. mejo maaga pa nga ung 530 pm pero ok na din un basta wag lng sa hapon.. sana kagaya na lng oras nung Meteor Garden nun.. hay...

Synopsis

After watching a high jump competition on TV, Lu Rui Xi was so inspired by a jumper named Zuo Yi Quan that she decides to transfer to his school, which happened to be an all-boys school; therefore, she disguises herself as a boy to get accepted. At the school, Rui Xi befriends Jin Xiu Yi. One day during a friendly soccer match, Rui Xi is knocked unconscious by Xiu Yi. Quan carries her to the infirmary and realizes that Rui Xi is in fact a girl! However, Quan keeps her identity a secret. At the same time, Xiu Yi starts to question his own sexual orientation when he finds himself having feelings towards Rui Xi.

Actually, wala ako idea about this series...marami lang ngsasabi sakin na maganda nga... pero i've tried to watch the first episode pa lang kanina...WOW

uber ganda nga nito...nahook agad ako...kakatawa ung girl...

so sad about the timeslot..sana magbago...sana primetimebida na lang...para mapanood ko ung tagalized version.

ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation on Friday declared its full support for the Kapisanan ng mga Broadkaster ng Pilipinas’ (KBP) call for broadcast networks to strictly abide by the KBP rule limiting the commercial load of programs to a maximum of 18 minutes per hour.

Bong Osorio, head of ABS-CBN Corporate Communications, said the Kapamilya network is committed to following KBP’s commercial load limit in order to give better value to our advertisers and viewers.

He pointed out two reasons why adhering to the KBP’s 18-minute per hour advertising rule is important.

“First, the limit safeguards the public from possible abuse by broadcast organizations in shortening programs to accommodate more airtime for commercial loads. Sacrificing program content for profit is doing a disservice to the public,” he said.

“Second, the cap prevents broadcast stations from flooding the market with excessive commercials. Limiting the number of TV and radio spots lessen the advertising clutter; thereby, making the ads more effective,” he added.

According to Osorio, ABS-CBN will comply with the commercial load limit despite the huge demand for ad placement reservations in our programs.

“As a long-standing member of the KBP, we are committed to the principle of self-regulation. We thank the advertisers for their trust and support in our programs and the public for their continued and unwavering patronage,” he said.

The KBP recently issued a statement announcing that it will strictly implement the 18-minute per hour advertising rule among its member TV networks. Its officials said the move will promote public interest by preventing advertising clutter.

Consistent ang sagot ni Bianca sa mga nagtatanong na press. Hindi pa raw sila nagkakabalikan ng direktor at hindi niya rin masabi kung nanliligaw ito sa kanya.

Pero inamin niyang nagpadala ng maraming pagkain si Direk Lino sa bahay niya nu’ng mag-birthday siya last Tuesday.

Kahit wala ang direktor sa bansa, nag-effort ito na mapadalhan ng gifts si Bianca at na-appreciate naman daw ito nang husto ng TV host.

Sa ngayon daw, ayaw niyang magmadali and she’s just taking her time. Basta masaya raw siya ngayon.

Ayaw nang magbigay pa ng reaksyon ni Bianca tungkol sa patuloy pa ring love triangle issue sa kanilang tatlo nina Lino at KC Concepcion.

“Eversince naman ang sinasabi ko parati, anything that has to do with the both of them, it’s really none of my business,” sabi ni Bianca.

Wala rin daw siyang maibibigay na sagot sa tinuran ni KC in her latest interview na “alam ba ni Bianca na nag-text sa akin si Lino?”

Para sa kanya, wala raw meaning na negatibo ’yon.

LIKE Bianca, Mariel is also vocal in saying na masaya siya ngayon.

Obviously, ito ay dahil kay Zanjoe Marudo, na bagama’t wala pa namang pag-aming naririnig mula sa kanila, halata sa mga kilos nila na sila na.

Ang importante na lang daw ngayon ay happy siya.
