But what really matters now is for Ogie to "finish whatever he has to finish first on his side", she tellingly reveals. "Pagkatapos nun, kami naman."

SURPRISE, SURPRISE! "It’s me in the 90’s," Regine quips. "For the first time, this haircut has nothing to do with sama ng loob." As it is, people know by now that something big is happening in her life whenever she gets a drastic haircut. In this instance, she was simply tired wearing her hair long. Before rushing to her stylist though, she had to convince Ogie for two months first! The latter didn’t know however that she would have it really short.

DEEPLY IN LOVE. After five years of being committed with Ogie, the glow of love in Regine’s eyes is still in plain sight and her child-like delight is certainly infectious. But who wouldn’t be that elated when both their families are very supportive of their relationship? The glamorous singer-actress further boasts of her newfound passion for cooking especially for Ogie. Lately, she has just learned how to make "caldereta" but Italian food is still her specialty.

May bagong TV show sa ABS-CBN na pattern sa The Biggest Loser sa States, ang Got To Be Fit: The Fit and Right Challenge na siyempre pa ay sponsored ng juice drink na ini-endorse nina Richard Gutierrez, Marian Rivera at Mariel Rodriguez.

Pero ang sistema nito magsisimula palang magtaping ang show sa Lunes at ipapalabas na ito sa Feb. 23.

Kumbaga ura-urada ang lahat kaya naman hindi na sila pumili ng mga supertaba na mahihirapan papayatin sa loob lang ng isang buwan lang.

Pumili na lang sila ng mga contestants ages 18-29 na kasing-chubby noon nina Judy Ann Santos at Geof Eigenmann.

At siyempre pa dapat kasing-beauty at kasing-gwapo rin sila nina Judy Ann at Geof kasi may balak din silang gawing artista ng ABS.

Medyo nahirapan nga silang pumili kasi karamihan sa mga nag-audition ay mga supertaba at wala pang mga itsura. ‘Yung mga nag-audition naman na may mga itsura ay mga hunks at sexy na kaya inadvice nila ang mga ito na magpataba muna for the show!

Ang mga nasabing challenger ay dadalhin sa Fit n Right camp at doon ay susubukan ang kanilang endurance and will power sa mga task na ipagagawa sa loob ng isang buwan.

Siyempre, ang mga napili ay ’yung medyo may malulusog na katawan para makita natin kung sino talaga sa kanila ang puwedeng tawaging the next Del Monte Fit n Right Ambassador.

With Del Monte’s aim to improve the participant’s physical appearance, well being and character, they will soon emerge fit, firm, fab and famous.
Magsisimula na sa Feb. 23 ang nasabing reality show at iere ito for four Saturdays, 9:30 p.m.

Obvious na nakagawa na siya ng desisyon tungkol sa gagawin niyang paglipat sa ABS CBN para sa aniya ay growth ng kanyang career gayong only a day before, sa presscon ng Maalaala Mo Kaya na siya ang tampok next week, ay inamin niya na may alok sa kanya ang ABS CBN pero wala pa siyang ginagawang desisyon.

MUKHANG hindi na naman maganda ang relas-yon ni Angel Locsin sa kan-yang manager na si Becky Aguila.

Pero, hindi na rin bago ang mga ganyang usapan. May panahong talagang nagbanatan silang dalawa sa TV, on national television pa, nang pagbintangan ni Angel mismo ang kanyang manager na dinadaya siya sa kanyang talent fee.

After some time na nagkaayos na ulit silang dalawa, tumahimik.

Ngayon, ganyan na naman ang mga kuwento. Hindi rin naman maganda iyan.

Magkasabay nilang hinarap ang controversy ng gi-nawang paglipat ni Angel sa ABS-CBN.

Kung totoong siya mismo ang gumawa ng gano-ong desisyon, masasabi ngang pati ang manager niya ay natangay sa masamang epekto ng lipatan isyu.

Pati na iyong mga ibang alaga ng manager niya na-pahamak, lalo na nga si Jen-nelyn Mercado. Doon sa process of eli-mination, dapat nga sana ay iyang si Jennelyn na ang papalit sa puwesto ni Angel sa GMA-7, pero dahil sa ginawang paglipat nito sa kalabang network, naipit din si Jennelyn, at ngayon nga ay talagang mukhang eliminated na ito, lalo nga’t nabuntis pa.

Ngayon, kung magkakagulo sina Angel at ang manager niya, ewan namin kung ano pa ang mangyayaring kasunod sa kanilang dalawa mismo.

Kung magkakaroon ulit ng gulo sa pagitan ng talent at manger, walang dudang sasaluhin ng ABS-CBN pati na ang management ni Angel Locsin.

Hindi naman maila-laban ng manager niya ang kontrata nila, eh, dahil iyon lamang simple ‘loss of confidence’ sa parte ng artist ay sapat nang dahilan pa-ra makakawala siya sa kanyang kasalukuyang manager.

We talked to Richard during the party about his being linked to KC Concepcion and he admits they’re good friends.

“I gave her a gift for Valentine,” he says. “She asked me to watch her in ‘Maalaala Mo Kaya’ and I did. Ang galing niya.”

Is he really courting her? “She just came from a relationship and I also just did. I think it’s too premature to jump into anything. Basta happy ako with our friendship now.”

Everyone says they’ll be the ideal love team in a movie. “It’s a great honor for me kung magkakatotoo. She’s talented and has a great personality. Sana nga, mangyari even if we belong to different networks. Malay natin, di ba? I’d really love to work with her.”

A star is born! KC Concepcion’s acting debut in the “Mansyon” episode of “Maalaala Mo Kaya” last Friday proved that she’s a chip off the old block. She’s beautiful from any angle, has a winning, totally engaging screen presence and star quality written all over her. She can act, shedding copious tears effortlessly in her various dramatic scenes and delivering all her lines with touching conviction.

ABS-CBN has chosen a good vehicle for her first try as an actress. She plays Darlene, a spoiled carefree rich girl whose life turns upside down when her dad dies in an accident that also maims her mom. Their family goes bankrupt and they lose everything, including the mansion where they live. She is forced to find work and decides to break up with her boyfriend. In the end, she learns to stand by herself and helps her family pick up the pieces of their shattered life.

KC shines in several scenes, notably when she tells her mom not to lose hope and encourages her to walk again and in her farewell scene with her boyfriend when she asks for a cool off. She’s also great in her solo scene where she cries silently while looking at the belongings her dad left behind.

KC is ably supported by Agot Isidro and Ricky Davao as her parents, Martin del Rosario as her brother and, most of all, Derek Ramsay as her very understanding boyfriend who has good on-screen chemistry with her.

The only hope of ABS to have a high rating show now is for them to convince KC to topbill her own teleserye.

But before that, she should first star in a full length movie. The ideal leading man for her will really be Richard Gutierrez. Too bad they belong to warring networks.

There are reports saying there’s a plan to pair Richard with KC Concepcion in a movie project. But how can they when they belong to the warring networks?

Single and romantically unattached at the moment, Richard Gutierrez has been vocal about his special friendship with KC Concepcion. But he keeps mum on whether he is courting her or not.

"Ako masaya ako kung ano ang meron kami ni KC. Kung ano ang friendship namin ngayon I’m very happy...tignan na lang natin kung ano naman ang susunod na mangyayari malalaman naman ninyo," he shared.

He also saw KC Concepcion’s first acting experience in "Maalaala Mo Kaya" last Friday and has only good words for her.

Close this MANILA, Philippines—Soap operas continued to top local TV prime time favorites in 2007.

A study released by AGB Nielsen Media Research, a global TV ratings company, showed that more women aged 20 to 34 were drawn to romantic dramas last year.

Viewing levels in this age group increased from 13.9 percent from January to March to 15.5 percent from October to December when more soaps were aired. The group joined the sector of females aged 35 and above, which had the highest viewing levels among women last year.

An average of 5.07 million Filipinos watched TV daily.

Urban Mindanao showed the highest viewing percentage, with 550,000 average daily viewers or 16.2 percent of 3.4 million. Urban Luzon and Urban Visayas showed the same percentage levels at 14.5 percent or 3.8 million and 725,000 viewers, respectively.

The survey showed that a twist on romantic viewing took place when GMA 7 launched the local version of the Mexican hit “Marimar.� It became the network’s first prime time soap to become a daily top-rater in AGB Nielsen’s Nutam (National Urban Television Audience Measurement) late last year. “Marimar� peaked from October to November.

But ABS-CBN still had the top three prime time shows: “Kokey,� “Princess Sarah� and “Sana Maulit Muli.�

ABS-CBN is the country’s top Nutam channel, with an 8 percent lead over GMA 7’s viewing level, 46 to 38.

Homes in Urban Visayas gave ABS-CBN a 60 percent level; GMA 7 got 26 percent. Urban Mindanao gave ABS-CBN a 66 percent share to GMA 7’s 23. GMA 7 had a slight edge in Urban Luzon, 42 percent to ABS-CBN’s 40.

“Marimar’s� ratings feat strengthened GMA’s overall lead in audience share in Mega Manila. Last year, AGB Nielsen’s Megatam or Mega Manila Television Audience Measurement posted for GMA a 47 percent audience share, from 45 percent in 2006. Audience share for ABS-CBN was pegged at 34 percent, from 31 percent in 2006.

AGB Nielsen said both channels’ audience share grew at the expense of cable channels and other free channels. Audience share of cable channels decreased from 10 percent in 2006 to 8 percent in 2007.

In Nutam, ABS-CBN’s “Wowowee� peaked March-May, with a rating of 11.8 percent. “Eat Bulaga’s� ratings were steady at 7.8 percent on the national average.

Ad support

Advertisements of shampoos and conditioners posted the biggest number of commercial minutes. Five of the top 10 most advertised brands were in this category. Fabric care products followed in terms of commercial time.

Others in the top 10 are powdered milk, skin care, cellular phone services, fastfood, oral care, proprietary drugs, cough and cold remedies and vitamins.

Chances (Sana Maulit Muli) airs in Taiwan

Now entitled Chances, Filipino drama series Sana Maulit Muli has just premiered in Taiwan Monday, February 18, 2008.

I'm not sure if it's the first time Taiwan has aired a Filipino show, but I find it interesting because it's about time that the Taiwanese people admire Filipino talents after the sucess of Taiwanese shows in the Philippines, like Meteor Garden and It Started With A Kiss.

On the website Taiwan Public Television Service, Kim Chiu and Gerald Anderson, stars of Chances (Sana Maulit Muli) are on the front page and treated as main attraction for the site.

The premiere of the show yesterday was even tagged as an "international day of love" and describes the show as a quality drama and Philippines' most popular show in 2007.

According to the site, Kimerald has become a household star and top screen couple because of the show's success in the Philippines.

Chances also uses the theme song, Sana Maulit Muli, sang by Gary Valenciano.

ako ilang titles lang natatandaan ko like yung Sapatos(I think this is the very first episode), Piso,Rehas...yung iba alam ko yung story pero forgotten yung titles.
Every episode ng MMK nagko-contest kami ng sis ko kung anong tamang title pero after ilang weeks or month nalimutan na yung title but not the story.

ITINANGGI na ng Star Magic ang balitang nag-attempt ng suicide si JayR Siaboc.

Pero totoo man o hindi, hindi ito magandang publisidad para sa young actor, lalo pa nga’t sunud-sunod lately ang negative issues sa kanya.

Another thing, hindi rin maganda for his image na masyado siyang nagseseryoso sa pag-ibig to the point na nagkaroon ng report na tinangka niyang magpakamatay dahil sa girlfriend na si Irish Fullerton.

Mabuti na lang at hindi naaapektuhan ang teleseryeng Palos, kung saan kasama ang young actor.

Gusto naming isipin na sumisikat na nga si JayR kaya lahat ng ginagawa’y napapabalita, pero he should take it easy, dahil baka kapag sumobra na ang nega issues, baka maging dahilan ito ng kanyang pagbagsak.

Teen star Kim Chiu has nothing but praise for actress Claudine Barretto after working with the latter for their upcoming project with ABS-CBN's soon to be shown horror TV series "Maligno."

Chiu revealed that she was at first hesitant after learning that she would be working on the series with superstars like Barretto.

"Nakakahiya lalo na kay Miss Claudine. Nahihiya kang magkamali kasi di ba big star na baka ano pa ang masabi niya (I felt shy especially with Miss Claudine. I was afraid of what she would say in case I make a mistake)," Kim Chiu told abs-cbnNews.com inside a makeup room at ABS-CBN compound.

Chiu was relieved however, when she began working with Barretto and found out that the latter was such a kind person. She also reported having a good working relationship with director Wenn Deramas and the rest of the cast.

"Maligno" the second installment of the Susan Roces Cinema Collection, a TV series anthology based on Roces' past films. The first TV series based on a Susan Roces film shown on ABS-CBN was the highly successful "Patayin sa Sindak si Barbara."

Kim Chiu or Kimberly Sue Yap Chiu in real life rose to fame after she was voted as the Big Winner of the Pinoy Big Brother Teen Edition.

The plot thickens when Aira accepts a two-year job assignment at Gold’s Gym Japan to earn more money. Habang wala siya, Macky achieves his goals and wins Nina’s heart. An unexpected encounter between Aira and Macky rekindles old feelings and Macky has to make a choice between two loves.

“This movie brings back memories of the movie Pumping Iron which featured Gold’s Gym and launched the movie career of Arnold Schwarzenegger and Lou Ferigno. That film showed how body builders all over the world flocked to Gold’s, the Mecca of Bodybuilding. She may have been absent from the limelight for more than four years when she decided to focus on her family some years ago but the Megastar has long since picked up her momentum again ever since she stepped back to show biz.

Sharon Cuneta made herself active in 2007, she even held a major concert at the Araneta Coliseum. This year, the megastar will make her presence full-blown, with many product endorsements, and a line-up of movies that fans will surely watch out for.

The first is a film about a socially-relevant issue, where she will be playing a caregiver, to be directed by top-caliber film director Chito Rono. She is so excited about having the chance to work with direk, whom Sharon greatly admires. “I’m learning a lot from him. With him it’s the authority you respect,” explained the megastar. “You know what, he is just amazing. You see his hand on every scene. Pati yung hindi na niya dapat department.”

Having done more than 50 movies, one would think that the likes of Sharon can instantly deliver whatever it is required of her in just a single take. But with Direk Chito, Sharon just had to ask the director to ask more of her so she could deliver more and perform better.

“Sasabihin niya, ‘I want this, this focus,’ pag na-hit mo, you know, (you get) that sense of fulfillment when you get it because you were able to deliver. Parang may na-accomplish ka hindi pa man. So ako enough na yun, ang dami kong natutunan,” the megastar shared.

Taking on the role of a care-giver, Sharon shared that she underwent a series of lessons about care-giving on the first day of shooting. Care-giving instructors gave her the necessary lessons, which she said made her understand the sacrifices of care-givers take to give a good life for loved ones.

“They never rang truer and they never mean anything unless you’re there,” the megastar emphasized.

The megastar feels so privileged to portray the lives of these “modern heroes” inasmuch as it is also a source of pressure for her to effectively portray the role.

“I hope I do justice to this role. Because it will reflect what every OFW goes through.”

ABS-CBN reaps 14 plums in USTv Students' Choice Awards

ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corp. won 14 trophies in the fourth USTv Students’ Choice Awards, a pioneering endeavor of the University of Santo Tomas (UST) to recognize artistic excellence and to promote Christian values in television programming.

"TV Patrol World" won as student's choice of local news program while TVP World hosts Julius Babao and Karen Davila were chosen as the students' choice of male and female news and public affairs hosts, respectively.

Daily talk show "Boy and Kris" was picked as best variety talk program, "Pinoy Big Brother Season 2" won as students' choice of reality show; "Maalaala Mo Kaya" won students' choice of drama program and "That's My Doc" as students' choice of sitcom.

ABS-CBN entertainment show "The Buzz" was chosen as the Most Popular Entertainment News Program while "ASAP '07" won as Most Popular Variety Show.

Two shows on Studio 23 - "Sineskwela" and "Y Speak" won awards for students' choice of education program and public affairs talk show program, respectively. Studio 23 was also chosen as the country's most responsible youth-oriented TV station.

Koreanovela "Princess Hours" won as students' choice of foreign soap opera while "Salamat Dok" was adjudged students' choice of public service program.

GMA Network won eight trophies for the programs "I-Witness", "Kapuso Mo Jessica Soho", "Wish Ko Lang", "Marimar", "Bubble Gang" and "Slam Dunk." Marimar lead actress Marian Rivera was picked as most popular actress in a drama/miniseries while her leading man, Dingdong Dantes, was chosen as most popular actor in the same category.

The annual awards is organized by the Office of the Secretary General in cooperation with the Office for Student Affairs, Central Student Council, the Student Organizations Coordinating Council, the Office of Public Affairs, the Social Research Center, the Institute of Religion, Educational Technology Center and other related offices.

The exclusive interview in The Buzz, the special appearance in Sharon and the lead role in Maalaala Mo Kaya were supposed to be “threats” from Regine. Then there was the supposed “farewell” appearance in SOP as the “ultimate threat.”

These “threats” were strong enough to make GMA biggies such as Atty. Felipe Gozon to react by calling Cacai to a rush meeting last Monday afternoon where she was offered a juicy contract which Cacai accepted.

Regine was with boyfriend Ogie Alcasid in Thailand when the meeting was held.

Angel and I are ‘bonding' for the moment. We enjoy each other's company without being committed to each other. We go out with friends whenever we have time. Last Sunday, we were at EDSA Shangri-la Plaza, Angel was accompanied by two persons.

Are you M.U. (mutual understanding)?

I don't believe in labels. I may claim we're M.U. and she comes around stating that we're not.

You've introduced her to your family, right?

My family has met her and my mom adores her. I've met her father, Mr. Angel Colmenares. Such a kind man!

Are you exclusively dating?

Soon I hope we can discuss about exclusive dating.

Are you dating anybody else?

I'm not dating anybody except Angel.

How about the "user" issue?

In fairness to me, after 26 years of existence, I was hurt to be called a user. Whoever started it really turned me off.

Why did you refuse to talk about Angel when your friendship was just new?

I was hurt by the user issue. That's why I opted not to talk about issues involving Angel when our friendship was new. But now I'm more open about it as the issue had died down. I think I have sufficiently proven that I'm not that kind of guy.

Why are you "career-less" now?

That's no longer true. Yes, I opted to lie low for the last months but my eyebags are about to get bigger.

What are your new projects?

Besides ASAP and Entertainment Live, I've just signed a two-picture deal with Star Cinema and another two-picture deal with Viva Films, one of them to be directed by Wenn Deramas. VIVA Entertainment’s Boss Vic del Rosario has always been friendly to everybody. His lines are always open, especially to old friends from the industry. So, our column headline a few days ago caught him by surprise. It read ‘Viva breaking up ties with ABS-CBN.’

He immediately called and invited us to his office in Tektite Towers in Pasig City.

He was as usual in a good mood when we arrived. He said there is no truth to the rumor that he is transferring to the other station with his talents. Boss Vic has always been of service to both the two big networks it is not necessary to jump from one fence to another.

Viva talents Sarah Geronimo, Mark Bautista and Rachelle Ann Go and Anne Curtis are regular ABS-CBN stars. It would be remembered that Regine Velasquez, that time under the wings of Viva, also did a movie for Star Cinema.

Anne was said to be transferring to GMA7 to do the remake of “Darna.” But according to Boss Vic, that is remote to happen now because she’s going to start the principal photography for Star Cinema’s ‘Waiting for Love’ opposite Aga Muhlach under the direction of Joey Reyes. Viva on its own will start shooting Regine Velasquez and Ogie Alcasid’s movie, ‘Love is Blind,’ a co- venture with GMA Films.

For TV, Viva has agreed to use titles of its blockbuster movies which enjoy high ratings with GMA and ABS-CBN. The titles include Pedro Penduko, Maging Sino Ka Man, Babangon Ako’t Dudurugin Kita, Mahawi Man Ang Ulap, My Only Love, Pasan Ko Ang Daigdig, Paano Ba Ang Mangarap, Gumapang Ka Sa Lusak, Nakagapos Na Puso and on planning stage is a remake of Bagets by Mario J de los Reyes.

Viva is also shooting Maui Taylor’s “Torotot,” also directed by Maryo J. de los Reyes with Baron Geisler and Yul Servo and Rufa Mae Quinto’s Single Girl by Joey Reyes.

In the concert scene, another concert Viva is now preparing is “Golden Divas,” featuring Pilita Corrales, Carmen Soriano, and Carmen Patena, set for March 7 and 8.

Pastry chef Macky (Sam Milby) has struggled with his weight for most of his life. "Well, I’m happy for her," says Joseph. "Sana, magtagumpay siya sa sarili niyang bayan. Sayang nga, wala na kaming communication at all, unlike before na nag-i-email pa kami."

Joseph has not renewed his contract with ABS-CBN and is now managed by Manny Valera. "My last show with them was ‘Margarita.’ But every now and then, they still get me to guest in ‘ASAP.’ Siyempre, may utang na loob pa rin ako sa ABS as I started with them," Joseph adds.

He’s now cultivating his own career as a singer-dancer, being a part of Manny’s boyband, Boyz.com. They will have their next show with singer-comedienne Rubirubi, called "Rubirubi@Boyz.com" on March 1, Saturday, at Zirkoh Greenhills, 9 p.m. Since his solo Justin Timberlake number, "Sexy Back," was a hit with the crowd in their first concert, this will have a reprise but he will be adding new songs. Anne Curtis is not moving to GMA-7, renews contract with ABS-CBN

Matagal nang kumakalat ang usap-usapan na hindi diumano maganda ang relasyon ngayon sa pagitan ng Viva Artist Agency (VAA) at ABS-CBN. Dahil daw sa conflict na ito kaya binabalak daw ng VAA na ibalik sa GMA-7 ang mga talent nilang nasa Kapamilya network, gaya nina Sarah Geronimo, Rachelle Ann Go, Mark Bautista, at Anne Curtis.

Ayon pa nga sa nakarating na impormasyon sa PEP (Philippine Entertainment Portal), si Anne daw ang ang napili ng Kapus network na gumanap bilang Darna sa pagbabalik ng Pinoy superheroine sa telebisyon sa pamamagitan ng Captain Barbell Meets Darna.

Kung saka-sakali, makakatambal pihado ni Anne ang ex-boyfriend niya na si Richard Gutierrez na siyang gaganap ulit bilang Captain Barbell. Ang Captain Barbell Meets Darna raw ang next project ni Richard pagkatapos ng Kamandag.

Nang kausapin ng PEP ang isang opisyal ng Viva Artist Agency upang kumpirmahin kung totoo ngang in-offer-an ng GMA-7 si Anne na gumanap na Darna, ito ang naging sagot sa amin trhu text message: "Wala naman formal offer sa amin, sa diyaryo ko lang nabasa."

So, some things are really not meant to happen. Hanggang ngayon kasi ay nananatiling haka-haka ang sinasabing pagbabalik ng Viva artists sa GMA-7.

Sa katunayan, napag-alaman ng PEP na pumirma na pala ulit ng kontrata si Anne sa ABS-CBN noong nakaraang linggo. At noong Linggo nga, February 17, ay binigyan pa ng special tribute si Anne sa ASAP ‘08.

Kasama raw sa bagong kontratang pinirmahan ni Anne sa ABS-CBN ang isang fantaserye na pagbibidahan niya, kapalit ng hindi na raw matutuloy na The Wedding. Tatapusin din daw ng young actress ang pelikula niya with Aga Muhlach as her leading man, ang Waiting For Love.

A Viva artist ever since, Anne started her TV career with GMA-7 in 1995 appearing on the following shows: TGIS, Anna Karenina, Ikaw Na Sana, Mornings@GMA, May Bukas Pa, Beh! Bote Nga, Kakabakaba, Ang Iibigin Ay Ikaw, SOP, Love To Love, and Nuts Entertainment.

Kasabay ng iba pang Viva artists, lumipat si Anne sa ABS-CBN noong 2004 pagkatapos ng hindi pagkakaunawaan ng GMA-7 at Viva Films. Ilan sa mga naging unang shows ni Anne sa Kapamilya network ay ang musical variety show na ASAP at ang soap opera na Hiram. It is safe to say na sa mga programang ito ng ABS-CBN nahasa nang husto ang hosting and acting skills ni Anne.

Then in 2005, Anne got her biggest break when she reprised the role of Vilma Santos in the TV remake of Kampanerang Kuba.

Napapanood ngayon regularly si Anne sa ASAP '08 at sa Book 2 ng Maging Sino Ka Man.

AGB Says ABS-CBN is No. 1 Nationwide in 2007, ABS-CBN Says AGB is Fraud

According to a recent report by AGB Nielsen Philippines regarding the over-all tv ratings for the year 2007, ABS-CBN is the number 1 network in National Urban Television Audience Measurement or NUTAM with 46% against GMA’s 38%. But ABS-CBN believes that AGB Nielsen is no longer accurate as the gathering of ratings were already tampered.

Nevertheless, here are the figures for Luzon, Vizayas and Mindanao:

ABS-CBN 60%

URBAN MINDANAO
GMA 23%
ABS-CBN 66%

The figures show that ABS-CBN is the undisputed leader in Vizayas and Mindanao by a landslide. However, GMA was able to take the lead in Luzon by only 2 percent. But Mega Manila remains GMA’s stronghold as the kapuso network garnered 47 percent while ABS-CBN is at 34 percent, a gap of 13% between the rival stations.
