they may have not been reprimanded because the mods were not informed about the violations- one way to do it is to click the red triangle icon located at the right hand corner of every post.

every reported post is sent to every mod via email.

mods like me frequent the threads and as in my case i log in every day (except when i am away from keyboard when i'm on vacation,) , but quite unfortunately i and the rest of the mods also have responsibilities in life outside of tsinoy.com and so that's why members of the forum are encouraged to click that "report bad post" icon.

also, you may have been referring to the Personalities threads... we mods are not allowed to edit/delete posts in that section, that is why we also inform the admin of tsinoy.com about bad posts in that section.

Ako I dont mind the ratings ever..basta pinapanood namin since the time I could remember watching television ay puro abs shows..im not saying from morning till night pero kung local shows lang,abs na(except pala basketball games)..kaya pagdating sa mga ratings,kahit siguro 99% yung kabila it really doesn't affect us at all..

Ako I dont mind the ratings ever..basta pinapanood namin since the time I could remember watching television ay puro abs shows..im not saying from morning till night pero kung local shows lang,abs na(except pala basketball games)..kaya pagdating sa mga ratings,kahit siguro 99% yung kabila it really doesn't affect us at all..
same here! i watch abs-cbn shows pag may time ako. kahit sobrang inis na sa pagiging unfair ng pbb, abs-cbn pa rin. there are still other shows worth watching, hindi tulad sa kabila corny at paulit-ulit na lang.

ngetpa and ji-eun0119, don't worry guys! i love sam and lloydie, they're two of the greatest actors we have on tv and movie. i'm concern though with the story. i hope it will be as intense and intriguing like the earlier parts of MSKM. i admit i was dissatisfied of the story during their extension, nawala ang direction and it got draggy. i really hope the book 2 will improve a lot storywise and follow what the originally plan plots and scenes. NO EXTENSION PLEASE...:D

But even Park and his angel-to-devil transformations hasn't been able to overshadow actress Park Jin-hee, who's been drawing avid praise for her performance of a righteous woman facing a slew of financial hardships.

Park Jin-hee, who returned to the small screen after a four-year break with last year's 25-percent-ratings hit "Please Come Back, Soon-Ae", has become the queen of the tube with the runaway success of "War of Money."

The actress, who is a bit of a straight-shooter, said, "When I first got the script I was surprised to find how small my scenes were. But now I've changed my mind. Park Shin-yang acts so hard and so well, he's certainly the one who should be in the spotlight."

The actress first came to stardom with the 1998 movie "Whispering Corridors", but the path from there wasn't so smooth. She was praised for her emotional performance of a single mother in the KBS drama "Silk Flower" in 2001, but had found few other successes in films or TV. She decided to take some time for a little introspection. "I asked myself if I had honestly put in the passion to really light up my work. And the answer, shamefully, was no."

In her latest hit "War of Money", nearly every scene is full of talk about money, so the question had to be asked -- has Park ever suffered true financial hardships? "Of course. My dad suddenly quit his job when I was a student, and I dreamed of a prince charming when we had no money."

Park got her start as an actress when she was selected to play a role in "Start," a drama for teens. "At the time, it was more of a curiosity rather than thinking of acting as a career." And what about now? Has she come to see acting as a real career? "My earning is way too high to not think that way. It'd be irresponsible to think otherwise, wouldn't it?"

Update on Drama ‘Gung’ Stars Ju Ji-Hun and Yun Eun-Hye

Ju Ji-Hun, after recently finishing the drama ‘Devil’, has gone home to take a rest. A representative of Ju Ji-Hun stated, “Although Ju Ji-Hun is not a particularly an easily exhausted person, his role in ‘Devil’ was one that required an enormous amount of concentration and effort that seems to have effected him quite a bit”, he continued, “He is not hurt or sick. He just needs some rest.” On the evening of May 27, Ju Ji-Hun attended the KBS 2TV ‘Devil’ after-party with the fans, at Seoul’s Coex Auditorium, where he was seen to be somewhat exhausted.

On the 24th of last month, the KBS drama, ‘Devil’, ended at episode 20. ‘Devil’ incorporated a solid storyline different from the common Korean drama and received great support from diehard fans. Ju Ji-Hun showed great acting in his role as Oh Seung-Ha, a lawyer after revenge after the person responsible for his older brother’s death.

In this drama, Yun Eun-Hye takes the role of Ko Eun-Chan, a good-looking man trained with the Taekwondo martial arts. ‘Coffee Prince Store Number 1’ is currently in filming, and is planning to air their first episode in June.

“ASAP is being unfair to Visayan artists”

This is to express my opinion and sentiments about “ASAP 07.” We are always waiting for other artists to showcase their talents in the show, but instead it’s always Sarah Geronimo. I’m sorry to say this since I’m a certified Kapamilya, but I’m very much disappointed with what “ASAP 07” has been doing. I’m not accusing them but it’s pretty obvious that halos wala ng exposure ang mga Visayan artists na sina Jed Madela, Mark Bautista and Sheryn Regis on “ASAP 07.” I hope Jed, Mark and Sheryn’s managers would do something about this—even the staff and directors of “ASAP.”

Even if Sarah is flying high in the Philippines, still Jed and Sheryn are soaring high abroad and favorite pa rin ng karamihan dito. I think what ABS-CBN is doing—giving almost all airtime to Sarah—is unfair. ABS-CBN, if you believe so much in Sarah and you want her to showcase her capabilities as a singer, why don’t you give her her own musical variety show similar to “ASAP”? That way she won’t monopolize “ASAP’s” airtime. There are also fans of other artists who watch “ASAP” not because of Sarah.

As for the Music Room segment last Sunday, I could not understand why the Four Champions who were taken out of Music Room to have their own segment would be thrown back to MR to take the spotlight away from those who were left behind. Take the case of Jed and Sheryn. Wasn’t it bad already that they were asked to sing a duet again when some of the artists at MR were singing solos? The song that was assigned to them was the simplest song there was. They could have been assigned powerful songs, but instead they were then given to Erik and again to Sarah, who already had their chance to shine via the Grand Face Off segment with Rachelle Ann Go and Christian Bautista.

I also think Jed and Sheryn deserve so much more than the Music Room. In all fairness, sila ay nakapagdala na ng dangal para sa bansa sa mga international competitions na sinalihan nila. World Champion and Crystal Voice of Asia lang naman ang laging pine-pair sa pagduduet. They are among “ASAP’s” best singers. But the exposure is too short for them to showcase their singing abilities. “ASAP” would be more commendable if we knew that these talents been given enough exposure. Many are CEBUANOS here in California, and many of the TFC subscribers are avid fans of Sheryn, Jed as well as Mark Bautista. I am one of them.

I have heard many of them saying that they subscribe to TFC just to watch these great Visayan talents. The way “ASAP” treats these Visayan artists is an insult to these subscribers. We don’t want to lose the subscribers, don’t we? “ASAP,” please make the show worth our TFC subscription and worth-watching. I myself only subscribe to TFC for “ASAP” and to watch Jed and Sheryn. But “ASAP” has not been giving them what’s due to them. Same with Mark. Why? Kasi Bisaya ang tatlong ito? I hope it’s not the reason, but please note that in the Visayas and Mindanao, ABS-CBN is #1—unlike in Luzon wherein palaging kulelat ang ABS-CBN in the ratings.

Please take care of these people. They are one of those MANY reasons why
OFWs subscribe to TFC. They deserve more. Aren’t they just wasting their make-up and get-ups by singing for two minutes only? Underrating such talents is not acceptable to us!

I know that ABS-CBN respects their viewers and I hope that my remarks are taken seriously. We also know that the rival network is now marketing their International Channel in the United States and gradually marketing worldwide. I have dedicated myself to defend the Kapamilya network for the more than six years that my family, relatives and friends have been subscribing to TFC. I hope I will still be able to keep my loyalty to ABS-CBN. Ako po ay dumudulog lamang para marinig ang panig ng mga TFC Subscribers. Sana po ay panindigan ng ABS-CBN ang “Naglilingkod sa inyo, Saan man sa mundo.”

ABS-CBN Bayan's 10th year concert to air Sunday


ABS-CBN Bayan Foundation, Inc. celebrated its 10th anniversary through a momentous event held at the Araneta Coliseum on May 29, 2007.

With the theme, “Ang Galing ng Pinoy, Isang Dekada ng Bayanihan," the event highlighted the milestones of Bayan as it embarks on a new direction of becoming a social development institution. Indeed, the organization had made a mark in history and its 10th year celebration was a memorable and inspiring one.

The event also showcased a concert of ABS-CBN talents like Toni Gonzaga, Iya Villania, Sheryn Regis, Verni Varga, Dulce, Christian Bautista, Mark Bautista and Jed Madela. Korina Sanchez and TJ Manotoc hosted the program.

During the program, ABS-CBN Bayan acknowledged and paid tribute to four of its exceptional clients who had been outstanding in terms of entrepreneurship, leadership, loyalty and community service.

A total of 13,000 attendees came and celebrated with the foundation. Most of them were selected microfinance clients of ABS-CBN Bayan, valued partners and supporters.

Since its establishment, ABS-CBN Bayan has been serving poor but enterprising Filipinos through its microfinance services.

From the 25 poor female microentrepreneurs in Loyola Heights, Quezon City to almost 50,000 families all over the country, ABS-CBN Bayan has expanded and has improved the lives of many.

Apart from providing economic opportunities, ABS-CBN Bayan is also in the business of educating microentrepreneurs and providing jobs to other family members.

The 10th Anniversary of ABS-CBN Bayan will be aired at 9:45 p.m. Sunday on ABS-CBN.

Dancing up a storm & loving it

They say dancing is not their cup of tea. But former Viva Hot Babe member Sheree and Games Uplate host Jaymee Joaquin head on with the challenge of moving their feet and grooving to a beat that could make anyone of them a dancing queen.

As two of the 15 celebrity finalists paired with professional dancers, Sheree and Jaymee will strut their ballroom dancing stuff on ABS-CBN’s U Can Dance Version 2. The Kapamilya network brings back the dance show with more rhythm after the success of its first edition.

Although ballroom dance is different from the sexy routine Sheree does on TV, her flexible persona prevailed when she auditioned upon the invitation of Maribeth Bichara, one of the show’s jurors (the other is Jhong Hilario).

“My mom used to nudge me to go ballroom dancing with her, but I didn’t expect that one day it would benefit me,” Sheree relates.

Her dance partner, Sergio Machon Jr. of Irong Irong Dance Company Iloilo, will help her perfect routines through practice and unwavering effort in creating a ballroom dance fusion that the show requires from contestants.

“This time, it’s not just a simple ballroom dance. Finalists can make a combination like salsa, tango and jive in a dance routine to make it more appealing to the young audience,” Maribeth says.

Contestants can hire choreographers to come up with a style that would stand out from the rest. Every week after the show primer Saturday, July 7, five pairs will compete and a pair or two will be eliminated until the best pair emerges as grand winner.

“Right now, exercise is a must like stretching, so my body won’t ache while doing lots of splits and lifting,” Sheree declares.

Among the finalists, Sheree considers Pinoy Big Brother Season 2 housemate Saicy Aguila stiff competition as the latter moves distinctly.

Aside from aspiring to be a dance queen, Sheree will also be seen soon in a digital film titled Roxxxane with Elizabeth Oropesa and Jay Aquitania. It is written and directed by Jun Lana.

Jaymee, on the other hand, was not initially included in the final list. But she can dance and has rhythm. So, when Cherrylou backed out due to other commitments, Maribeth got Jaymee as replacement.

“I only had dancing experience when I was in high school as part of a cheering squad, and getting in for the competition is a challenge,” Jaymee says.

The Development Studies graduate of De La Salle admits she feels intimidated by other finalists. But the rocker that she is, Jaymee would rather hone her dancing talent to the hilt.

Besides, the show aims to train every celebrity contestant’s dancing feet by teaming them up with professional dancers who could teach them as the competition goes on.

“As the most inexperienced of them all, I shall speed things up by catching all those dancing styles I have to learn so my partner won’t be ashamed of me,” Jaymee states.

Her partner, Marlon Aballe of Dancesport, is helping her discover a dance step that would complement her personality. For the initial presentation, the two will do a combination of rhumba, tango and jive.

To be hosted by Iya Villania and Derek Ramsay, U Can Dance Version 2 airs at 10 p.m. with new twists and variations in ballroom dancing. Dina Bonnevie is guest celebrity juror for July.

ALTHOUGH SHE hasn’t been very visible on her home network lately, Star Circle National Teen Quest finalist Paw Diaz says there’s no truth to the rumours that she left ABS-CBN. “As a matter of fact, I just renewed my contract for another year,” says Paw...

Paw will be one of the 15 celebrity dancers who will square off in the dance showdown that was won last year by Arron Villaflor who, like Paw, was also a product of Star Circle National Teen Quest.

Paw recalls with amusement how she supported Arron during his run on the show. “We even voted for him via SMS [during the grand finals].”

Now it’s Paw’s turn to strut her stuff on the dancefloor. U Can Dance is currently her only regular show on ABS-CBN after the reality dating show Qpids, where she was paired with Mikel Campos. She guests on other shows occasionally, but outside of that, her only other regular show is on ABC-5. It’s a show called Teens, and it’s a tele-magazine show on subjects of interest to teenagers, such as the latest hangouts and fashions.

Paw says that ABS-CBN’s Star Magic, which manages her career, allowed her to do the show. “That’s why I so appreciate them,” she says of her home network. “Because they allowed me to take on this project, even if it’s for a different network. They’re very understanding about it.”

She downplays rumours that she is disappointed over the way her career has turned out. “I’m very happy with Star Magic. I won’t leave them, because we’re like family,” says Paw. “I don’t have that many projects, but at least, I’m constantly working. Besides, I’m not the type who expects things. It’s nice to hear, and it’s flattering that people think I could really make it big in this industry, but it’s not really my dream to make it big. The fact that I’m still in showbiz, that’s enough to make me happy.”

Indeed, because at one point, Paw even became the subject of some very nasty pregnancy rumours. People pointed to Cueshe lead vocalist Jay Justiniani as the culprit. Eventually, time proved that the rumours were just that — rumours. “People were starting to talk, and that hurt, because the rumours weren’t true,” says Paw. “Jay and I are friends, but we’re not even that close.”

She is happily single at the moment. Right now, she is focusing all her energies on the upcoming U Can Dance celebrity competitions. “I’m so scared,” said Paw nervously at the press conference to launch the show, where she and her partner performed a brief routine. “I’m not an experienced dancer. Fortunately, I have a great partner who’s very patient with me, knowing that I’m a beginner at dancing.”

Despite her relative inexperience, Paw intends to keep going. If she does what Arron does and wins the grand prize, well and good. If not, she’ll just chalk it up to experience. “But I’m not going to give up,” she promises.

Have watched MUP everyday...UKG is ok naman... pero felt lang na indi masyadong smooth ang flow... medyo bulol pa si donita, though in fairness to her, she tries so hard to the point na nagmumkhang OA cya....ABS appears to have lessened her exposure (maybe I am wrong), giving Pinky Webb the female anchor role beside Edu... I do not know if the portion of Amy Perez is part of the show... pero para sa akin distracting ito...sorry pero this is just my opinion... :D

Hi, ewan ko ha? kc ang alam ko inere na ng siyete ang cinderella na anime, ewan ko kung may konek kung nsa kanila ang anime version. Dami nga anime ng 2 na napunta sa kanila.... cinderella, charlotte, heidi, nelo, samurai x, sakura, pati ata lihim na hardin. Pati pagkakaalam ko ung grims fairy tales pinalabas sa 2 as simmm salagrimm....bka pati snow white. ewan ko lng kung ano season ng jackie chan ung sa 2 at kung nakuha ng 7 un. kulang na lng kunin ang cedie, sarah, peter pan, von trapp, little women 1&2, julio & julia, huck finn at tom sawyer!!! hehe

ang bagal kase ng abs mag-adapt...kaya tayo natatalo ng gma...infairness to gma...ang bilis nila mag-isip... nung nakaramdam silang nagsasawa na ang tao sa fantasy...nagshift sila to action...tpos ngyon biglang drama (although bobita talaga sila dito :D)... tpos naging marimar naman....(feeling ko papatok to)... tpos shaider...

nung downfall ng fantaserye, anung ginawa ng abs.?? nilabas ang rounin... wrong timing at super flop tuloy..nasayang...

ok for me ung ysabella...mejo bago ung mood ng serye na yan... ung walang kapalit...typical abs drama... ung mga koreanovela...unti unti na ring nakakasawa...

the creative team of abs should think outside the box... with the strong competition, dapat u're ready to offer new tricks...(nagmamarunong lang) :)
