I like Amazing Twins. Frog prince? Teka tignan natin.

Ang motto kasi namin dito sa bahay kung hindi talaga worth it panoorin, turn-off na lang TV. At nasa news na naman kanina na magtataas na naman ng .15c per kwh ang kuryente. Kaya nga we make sure pag nood ng TV at worthwhile panoorin, kahit hindi nagrerate, kahit kami lang ang nanonood ng show na yun, pinapanood namin.

Anyways, pansin ko lang, pagsilip ko kanina sa GMA, bakit ganun? 8:10pm na 24 oras pa rin? Actually ilang araw ko na napapansin. 20 mins ang delay ng telecast ng shows ng GMA. Diba strategy rin nila ito nung panahon ng Mulawin- Marina? Musta naman ang ratings pala sa 720 tv sets sa Mega Manila? GMA pa rin ba no.1? Tsk tsk tsk. Although, we cannot discount the fact na nag improve naman talga ang "ILANG" shows nila.

Interactive masyado forum natin, sana walang intruder na naman na magpapapansin.

I'm so happy with the new improvements on TV Patrol World. The scrolling news was back! I sent them emails before that they need to reformat their show, with scrolling news of course. I just hope soon they'll eliminate the word World on the news show.

And you are right stan19, GMA 7 delayed their shows since Monday for Sassy Girl not to be pitted directly to Pinoy Big Brother. They don't want Pinoy Big Brother to win in the ratings game that's why they did this kind of strategy. For ABS-CBN, they should air the first 2 Primetime Bida series for about 45 minutes each, so that Pinoy Big Brother could reach and beat Sassy Girl's full timeslot and ratings.

Pansin ko lang, hindi tumatapat ang GMA sa tamang tapatan ng shows like Sassy Girl and Pinoy Big Brother, so naapektuhan ang ratings ng Pinoy Big Brother. http://www.pinoyexchange.com/forums/images/smilies/frown.gif

Dapat i extend ng ABS-CBN ng tig 15 minutes ang first 2 Primetime Bida shows para makatapat directly ng Pinoy Big Brother ang Sassy Girl.

And I believe, better na ngayon ilabas ng ABS-CBN ang Panday, pre- programming ng Pinoy Big Brother, para makatapat ng Sugo kung patuloy na iiwas ang Sassy Girl. Kasi on this case, puwede ma curious ang mga people sa show, at mahatak pababa ang Sugo dahil puwedeng makakuha ng potential viewers na dating loyal sa show. Yup! pero minsan nakakatawa talaga yung mga dubbers , you can easily notice it lalo na kung napanood mo na yung series.


ako naman nadi-distract sa boses na ginagamit ng 7. most of d time kc hindi swak ang boses dun sa itsura nung dina-dub nila. this is more noticeable sa dubbing ng boses ng lead actors ... minsan parang hindi natural dating ng boses ...

but this is much better than reading d sub-titles ...

kaya tenk u pa rin sa lahat ng dubbers.

mystery--- ang nababalot na hiwaga sa casa buer, ang sikreto ng pagkatao nila jsutin charlie at gary...isama mo pa ang tunay na pagkatao ni camille....dapat abangan ng mga viewer...ang misteryo ng bahay kalakal

fashion----cute ng damit nila esp ang kamahalang mingyue...ang cap ni charlie na kahit nakabaligtad e di naaalis....ang mga accesories ni camille at bianca...saan kaya pwede makabili.. at ang nacklace ni gary.. ang cute...ang headdress ni mingyue...ang suot ni charlie na may isda na design..ang outft ni justin na lalong nakadag dag sa appeal niya. among the 3. sia pinaka maganda angf suot..

drama---ang pagkatuklas ng pagkatao ng bwat bida...ang pagkamatay ng magulang ni gary...ang unconditional love ni gary kay bianca...ang mga buhay na isinakripisyo.. like meegee..at ni ..ooopps wag na.. watch nyo na lang...

espionage--kung papaano natuklasan ang mga misteryo, dito nyo makikita ang talino ni gary at charlie sa pagtuklas ng misteryo..mag iisip ka dito....galing nila...

friendship---- ang pagkakaibigan nila gary, justin, charlie at dr. chan...walang iwanan to grabe......

jenny and justin---- eto medyo action ang love story pero cute. bndang gitna na sila nagka developan ...hayyyy..ang guapo ni justin sa outfit nya...abngan kung paanong ang kaisng tigas ng bakal na puso ay mapapalambot alang alang sa pag ibig.. naks ang drama ko.....

dr.chan and kamahalang mingyue----how will i explain this...ummmm...medyo sad kasi story nila.. unconditioonal love din kay dr. chan....superior kasi si mingyue at doctor alng si dr. chan...mrami sia sakrifice apara gumaling si carmen....

Remembering Amazing Twins!

I remember the first time I watched Amazing Twins; I was so amazed of watching their fighting scenes. Well just a little background why I am hooked with this series. I am fond of watching Chinese series even if it was on Chinese language. I loved to watch their fight; it’s so “kakaiba” – their martial arts per se. That’s why when I changed the channel on the television, I saw their fight scenes and I was curious what was that series, then they talked – it’s tagalog. Oh..oh…it’s tagalog.. a Chinese knew how to talk Filipino…that’s unbelievable! That’s awesome! That was the pilot episode of Amazing Twins – the fight between Don Renato with Jiang Fei Yu and Feng Wu Que. That was March of 2003, 6pm before Star for a Night!

From then on, I religiously switch the channel on the television to watch the series. Unfortunately, it stopped airing. I don’t know what happened. And when it came back, it aired 8pm every Saturday. Well nice timeslot coz a lot of people could watch it. I can’t forget the series coz I started to gain friends and know a lot of people from different walks of life, but of course with a common denominator – Amazing Twins fanatics. And also, who will forget Walter - that when they started airing AT, the only advertiser who supported them is Walter. Remember WALTER – the bread commercial. But as time goes by, there’s some advertisers who believed in AT, we thanked them all – the COKE, PEPSI and HOPE. If I forgot the others, I apologized.

October 15 – 17, 2003, the most unforgettable experienced we ever had. For all the Amazing Twins fans who go over gaga following Gary of Amazing Twins. Settawat “######” Sethakorn went here in Manila to promote the Amazing Twins VCDs in the market and also his series “Secretly in Love”.

Some of us followed him from SM Megamall to SM North Edsa to Creative Office even at SM Sucat. Hay…it’s really such a beautiful experienced – picture taking and autograph signing with GARY. Although he doesn’t know how to speak our language, his kindness was very much appreciated.

And because of that, ATFC/JTFC has been established where in once in a while, all AT fans out there met their fellow AT fans. Now we were celebrating our 2nd anniversary…that would have thought it would happen. And with a very big reason to celebrate!!!

We kept on posting in different forums, threads, even on Hong Kong series thread. We never get tired of telling others our thoughts and feelings about AT – that we wanted to watch it again. And true enough; it aired again but in different station. From IBC 13 to ABC 5. AT started airing in ABC last April 12, 2004, four months of waiting. Unfortunately, I haven’t been able to watch it. It ended July 30, 2004.

From then on, we didn’t lose hope that it would be aired again. AT became the biggest part of our lives. We bought VCDs, but the excitement we felt on watching it on television was incomparable.

Until September 19, 2005, a year after AT ended in ABC5 here comes the news from one of our friends. AT will be shown on ABS-CBN. Well, we all felt ecstatic, that all our AT stuffs came out in the box again – the pictures, the compilation stories, the music of Jimmy Lin and ######, the AT soundtrack, the pins, the t-shirts, etc.

All our excited to watch it all over again…again…and again. Again 3x, well that’s because AT will be shown for the 3rd time. Imagine from IBC13 to ABC5, now at ABS-CBN2 – that’s really amazing!

Some people asked “What is it in Amazing Twins that ABS-CBN prioritized it? Though they have so many Japanese Doramas , beautiful Chinovelas and Koreanovela lined up. Well, WATCH IT TO FIND OUT WHY AMAZING TWINS RULEZ!!!!

from what i read, the technique being used in VR is called SURREALISM, wherein real happenings in the life of the characters are metamorphosized with the nature.

i think it's called MAGICAL REALISM..we've studied it before. The novel we analyzed, Like Water For Chocolate exhibits this kind of technique. It's not really fantasy, so people should not compare Vietnam Rose with other fantaseryes because it is really not their focus. I think this technique is meant to reflect through the environment the feelings of the characters..or something like that..

ei guys, i saw something that really irritates me yesterday..it's the teaser for frog prince in GMA..while they were showing their other koreanovela shows, (All For LOve)..there's some line below saying, 4 na tulog na lang, palabas na ang chinovelang TUMALO sa ratings ng Meteor Garden! like they have those letters in bold p. duh?!!!
sobrang layo naman ata ng year para ikumpara..2001 ang MG, 2005 nman ang Frog Prince..parang cnabe mong "Darna, ang tumalo sa ratings ng Mula Sa Puso!" wahaha!! galit tlga sila sa MG..

ewan ko lng..ung Jewel in the Palace din sabe highest rating daw sa history ng korea..tpos i watched some news on Martin (Lovers in Paris) kanina sa MUP, tpos sabe ni bianca ang Lovers nga daw ang highest rating at tumalo sa iba, kabilang na ang Jewel in the Palace..haha! ano ba yan..

Nabsa ko na rin yun ang bilis ng flash nila sa pagka2intindi MG ang naging #1 series ng taiwan wala pa ang frog prince at ngayon dumating na nga ito na ang nakatalo i think real na to sa television history nila record breaking nga daw wala sa network na gustong ipaghambing ang 2 series at least matagal clang naging no.1 dba ilang years din ang binilang para matalo ang MG so ako tanggap ko na pagkaintindi ko lang naman .:D

i've read johnston's posts here and i find nothing really offensive in any of them ... i mean nothing that would show na wala syang modo ...

i was just browsing the newspapers today and the fullpage ads of gma7 caught my attention. abscbn is still losing the ratings game and they don't seem to be countering the punches of gma7. the absence of koreanovelas in their programming mix is telling in their ratings. look at gma, beautiful days, my sister in law is 19, attic cat, all of these figured in the ratings game and abscbn is still stubbornly clinging on their nonrating programs. we must be given variety not just the usual tiring teleseries. when will they ever learn and realize these programming boo-boos.

I'm sure when any ABS executive reads your responses, they will indeed be touched by your concerns. But the problem is, the people running the show at ABS now are "manhid" to the preferences of televiewers. As such, we should now learn to admit that their programming only exists to "dull" the minds of Filipino televiewers.

Huwag na natin silang pansinin if they won't listen to us. Ganyan talaga naman sila. Ever since the Kapitan (Geny Lopez Jr.) passed away, ABS was simply a different ABS-CBN from what it used to be.

It’s final. At four o' clock this afternoon, Big Brother has decided to evict Bob from Pinoy Big Brother due to his unstable medical condition. The aspiring politician failed to go back to the house within the 24-hour deadline that Big Brother set yesterday. because of this unprecedented event, the viewers now have the chance to choose who among the previously evicted housemates they want to bring back in Pinoy Big Brother.

Starting tonight until Saturday (October 15), viewers can text their votes for ex-housemate that they want to serve as Bob's replacement. The choices include Rico, Jenny, JB and Racquel. This is in accordance to the Big Brother House Rules, which states that “A new housemate may be called in to replace any person who leaves voluntarily or who has been disqualified by Big Brother. I know johnston's friends are really upset with what had happened, but let's make things clear, hindi po namin sini-single-out c johnston. marami na pong nagrereklamo about him and we just made a necessary action para masagot ang reklamo nila.

We are flooded by complaints that johnston is offending not only the moderators, but some forumers as well. We sent johnston an email not only once, but he seems to fail to send us a reply regarding his suspension. Then, complaints continue to come so we decided that it's high time to ban him.

If you know forumers na gumagawa din ng offensive posts, you are free to email us so that we will be informed and so necessary actions will be imposed on them too...

We are just doing our job. We hope you understand.

I strongly agree with you, they do not need 2 mention na tinalo ng FP ang MG just to promote FP and attract viewers. this technique s what we call dirty politics. Let d viewers discover by themselves what is worth and interesting to watch for. Lesson learned: Do not pre-empt!

Well, no one will deny Darna has a huge fan base. I'm in full support on this strategy by ABS-CBN. So, 1 na langh ang threat sa ABS-CBN, it's Encantadia, which will end also on November, pero may prequel yata yan. Pero don't worry, may sponsors na ang Panday. Have you seen the Panday-themed commercial of PLDT and Smart? Was this shown on GMA 7 also?

Expect also last minute changes. ABS-CBN might air an Asianovela on Primetime Bida before the year ends. Hopefully next month.

I just had information on GMA 7's newly acquired J-Doramas. Well, I'm a bit sad, but that's life. Not all will be given to ABS-CBN. In fact, ABS-CBN stopped acquiring J-Doramas for now.

I'll update you guys with the future SBS series which will be aired on ABS-CBN.

So, 1 na langh ang threat sa ABS-CBN, it's Encantadia, which will end also on November, pero may prequel yata yan. Pero don't worry, may sponsors na ang Panday. Have you seen the Panday-themed commercial of PLDT and Smart? Was this shown on GMA 7 also?

A Rap Song for the Rival Station

Talented Jason and Franzen continue composing the rap version of “Pinoy Ako,” which they will perform together with the other housemates for their first major concert this Friday.

The rappers are not only creative in inventing playful and weird games but also in composing rap songs. They are currently writing a stanza that seems to pertain to the rival station.

"Siguradong nanonood ang kabila, sila talaga'y hindi makapaniwala. Mata nila'y lumuluwa at Nagtataasan ang kanilang balahibo na parang nakakita ng multo. At pagpasensyahan niyo na kung bababa ang inyong porsyento, Wala kaming magagawa kung kami'y talentado."

Franzen comments that his kakosa will surely like their upcoming single once they get to listen to it. "Siguro lahat ng mga kanto boys niyan, maglalabasan yan," he tells Jason.

Jason, on the other hand, thinks that the words included in the stanza are too harsh and that the rival station might get offended. But Frazen feels otherwise. "Humingi naman tayo ng pasensya," Franzen tells his best friend.

Rappers Jason and Franzn compose their version of Rappers Franzen and Jason have started composing the rap version of “Pinoy Ako”



They are in the garden writing the lyrics of the song. Here is the song’s first stanza:

"Sa araw-araw na lagi naming kayong kasama, siguradong kilala niyo na kami isa’t –isa.

Bago kami napili ni big bro, sa pag-audition naming sa kanya ay di biro

Halos maraming sumubok na Pilipino, kung bibilangin mo’y libo-libo”



After listening to Jason sing the first stanza, Franzen comments, “Saktong-sakto.” The two try to combine the original lyrics of “Pinoy Ako” with their composition. They use the beat of Queen’s “We Will Rock You” to create a rhythm for their song.



While helping Jason compose the song, Franzen recites some parts of “Me Ultimo Adios.” Apparently, he’s afraid that he might forget the lines of the poem if he concentrates too much on their rap song. The self-confessed jologs is scheduled to recite the poem, together with Nene, tonight in front the housemates.

I called up ABS-CBN 30 minutes ago. Sabi nga nung friend ko from Acquisitions, sobrang promo ang ginawa ng GMA sa teaser nila sa Frog Prince, kesyo tinalo daw nito ang Meteor Garden, pero ngayon, nasaan daw ang series na ito? Hayun, dikit sa ratings sa Amazing Twins na isang re-run. What more kung 1st time pa lang i- air sa Philippines ang Amazing Twins, ano ang sasapitin ng Frog Prince?

Sabi pa niya sa akin, ang Sassy Girl, hit sa Korea, pero dito hindi. Kaya kahit na hit sa Korea ang isang series, may chance na lumagapak dito sa Pilipinas sa ratings. After ng Full House, tumamlay na mga Koreanovelas dito, kaya hindi sila makapaglabas ng bago. Kaya kahit na super sikat ang isang series sa Korea, puwedeng hindi nila ito kuhanin kasi magkaiba naman ang taste ng mga Pilipino sa mga Koreano.

That's the reason why hindi sila makapaglabas ngayon. Kasi siyempre, sayang naman kung hindi papanoorin ng mga tao. Sa dami ng mga problems ng bansa ngayon, hindi sila makapagpalabas ng melodrama like Spring Day.

Actually, hindi si Hero Angeles ang problema. The problem is his manager who happened to be his brother. Demanding ang kuya niya, tapos hindi pa marunong sumunod sa usapan.

Kung sana, ipinaubaya na lang ni Henry Angeles ang pagma manage sa Star Magic, sana Hero Angeles would be the the next bright star. Look at Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales. Star Magic ang may hawak sa kanila.

Masyado kasi ambisyoso si Henry eh. Ngayong nasa GMA si Hero, ang deal eh kailangan hindi si Henry ang manager niya. So, papayag din pala. Kung dati pa sana eh binitawan na niya ang pag ma manage kay Hero sa Star Magic, eh di maganda ang career ni Hero ngayon.

Knowing GMA 7, baka kung ano mangyari sa career ni Hero. Sana hindi matulad kina Richard Gomez, Jolina Magdangal and sa iba pang dating Kapamilya na kung maliitin ang ABS-CBN ganun ganun na lang.

Hi luvfirefly26, yep abs ang nag-start ng mga Asianovelas na talgang nag-HIT and eto nga yung METEOR GARDEN pero in fairview GMA ang nag-start ng Koreanovela tama ba ako? yun e nung pinalabas nila yung Endless Love.

Sana lang gayahin ng mga kapamilya ang fave network nila na di pumapatol sa mga pasaring ng kabila.

kung pwede lang i-post d2 ang mga tunay na pangyayari ... i doubt if u could still put all the blame at abs ... or even blame abs at all.

as regards the advertisements ... i know 4 a fact that hero was offered a lot ... but henry has other agenda for his brother ... not totally in synch with star magic. and its also totally untrue that advertisers wanted sandara more bcoz she's MORE popular than hero ... she was just a novelty then. and just like any novelty ... her popularity has a shorter "lifespan".

anyway ... everything is water under the bridge now. i just wish hero all the luck in his new "home".

Last comment ko lang about dun sa issue ni Hero...He is not as bankable as Sandara is..but when you come to think of it..it's clear that something is not right about his dismisal..This is not about his brother as his manager..ABS will hold Hero if he is as bankable as Sandara but the thing is..he is not..and that's a fact!! Now, though he is not as Bankable as Sandara..it is also a fact that he has so many supporters..old and young..:(confused why he was dismissed...:confused:

I am not ignorant about the issue..according to a source Hero was dismissed because he refused to say sorry to Cristy in public as what ABS wants..do you think it is fair that Hero should be sorry for Cristy or the opposite??:confused:

It was Henry's fault and his family why Cristy tuned her dirty and powerful fists on the face of Hero..I understand that!!

Sometimes ABS can be very dangerous and very unpredictable..I really feel bad about it..BUT THEN I'M A KAPAMILYA BLOODED AND I CAN'T RAN FROM IT!!!

kung pwede lang i-post d2 ang mga tunay na pangyayari ... i doubt if u could still put all the blame at abs ... or even blame abs at all.

as regards the advertisements ... i know 4 a fact that hero was offered a lot ... but henry has other agenda for his brother ... not totally in synch with star magic. and its also totally untrue that advertisers wanted sandara more bcoz she's MORE popular than hero ... she was just a novelty then. and just like any novelty ... her popularity has a shorter "lifespan".

anyway ... everything is water under the bridge now. i just wish hero all the luck in his new "home".

Hayaan na lang natin siya, baka sa paglipat niya sa GMA dun niya makita ang hinahangad niya. Just want to wish him goodluck. Sa tingin ko kasi masyado naman yatang pinaboran ng ABS si Cristy Fermin. I don't know kung ano talaga ang nangyari sa kanilang 2 at sobra ang galit niya kay Hero, kung tirahin niya sa mga column niya sa tabloid si Hero ay parang last na niyang pagsusulat yun. I guess if magpalabas ang ABS ng gaya ng Panday(not Gulong ng Palad) it will work very well on the ratings...I really like the special effects of Panday..am sure ilalampaso nito ang katapat nito...whatever it is...

i share the same sentiment like yours. viewers may be overfed with so much news or buzz about PBB. if this happens, overgratified na ang mga viewers, mananawa na sila manood. i believe, enough na ang primetime and uplate shows about PBB.

i believe it's not a loss for ABS for letting go of Hero, who has rough attitudes in dealing with his co-stars. try to think about this, why would Sandara, his ex-loveteam pretended of liking him then when in fact she didn't lyk his pagiging ungentleman. and i believe ABS is fair enough in dealing with both Cristy and Hero, it's just that mataas ang ere ni Hero. He should have shown some patience during the times na binabatikos sya... he should have clarified himself first and not impulsively sueing Cristy. well, this is just my opinion. hope he'll now learn.

considering hero's fan base and mass appeal ... i think he is a loss to abs. but then again ... who would want a talent you cannot even control. hero's family is really one for the books ...

i think hero's a loss to abs, yeah, considering how big his fan base is, and even gma7 was surprised when lots of fans came to gma just to wtch hero, even fans of some gma talents commented hero that he is indeed GWAPO, and was cheering for him and even follwed him in his interview in sfiles.....the problem was not hero, its his brother....and think about this too.. :D hehehe, why would you blame hero for what happened when its sandara who broke up their loveteam, hero protected sandara from their fans, he tried his best to please the fans and save their loveteam for their fans sake, pero parang binalewala pa nga ni sandy, to the point na maraming herosan fans ang ngtampo sa knya, di daw niya pinaglaban, hindi naman ungentleman si hero e, inaalagaan pa nga niya si sandy pag mgkasama sila db, i shuld know that, ive met them several times already,i saw how hero was so caring about sandy and the same with sandy, they were really ok and caring but then just some arguments had happen which broke them up, but it was not because of hero's being ungentleman....:)
