yup tapos na ito ipalabas yung war of money.,..cast park shin yang,park jin hee,shin dong wook, at kim jung hwa.....meron xang 16 episodes....dahil sa mataas ang ratings at madaming fans ang nagrerequest na habaan pa ang WOM kaya naextend ito ng 4 episodes...war of money bonus round ang title,...may mga bagong casts na kasama and iba na yung story nya...starring park shin yang pa din...c shin dong wook nandun din...new casts kim ok bin...sorry d ko na kilala yung ibang casts na kasama sa WAR OF MONEY bonus round....matatapos ipalabas ito sa korea this coming july 19,2007...last 2 episodes nalang....:D

sobrang nagustuhan ko si Park Shin Yang sa 'War Of Money' I think that's his best series yet. Galing niya talaga.... at yung ratings sa Korea sobrang taas. Nakakaawa though kasi parang lagi siyang nabubugbog every episode...

yup royalpotato, though i love him in the lovers in paris, acting wise mas challenging yung role nia sa WOM. mag kaiba lang ng genre yung dalawang series. the latter is more on a love story, while the other is more focused on financial aspect, tragic ang dating, but then, since a lot of fans reacts when 'Nara' died (PSy's name on the series), probably that's the reason why they produced the additional 4 bonus rounds, changing some of the characters & making a different story. Have you seen that?

Summary of the UGA Lecture

The beginning of the lecture had an introduction about him in English(you might watch that video in youtube), appreciation about his opportunities to give this lecture to UGA students, appreciation to the audience, and special thanks to Professor Lee who was translating his Korean to English for some audience who cannot speak Korean.

He wanted to be an engineer when he was in high school because most of his family members were studying in science field. However, the problem was his math skills. When he had that problem, his classmate told him that “Why don’t we go to major in Theater?” That was the first step of him to get into his actor life. Like this, he realized that coincidence can become a big stream of the life. By the way, the classmate who told him went to Engineering school.

When he was studying at College, major in Theater, his professor told him that he had bad (not terrible though) voice and recommended him to practice his voice. After his professor’s advice, he was practicing his voice everyday for 10 years. If he did not do this practice for 10 years, he could not be here as an actor, Park Shin Yang.

When he was acting, sometimes, he was asking himself that “Why am I doing this? What is life? Where is life going? Etc.” He was seriously thinking about these topics. These questions gave him the reason to act.

There was another coincidence that became another big stream of his life which was meeting his wife, “Soul mate.” And, he wanted to tell us that “make sure that you find somebody who you love!”

When he wanted to concentrate on study to enter graduate school, he went into a temple to study (This is part of a Korean culture what we used to do at that time. Koreans are still going into temples to live and study there, but frequency is a lot less than before now.) He told us about an episode that he was ringing a BIG bell in the temple and practicing his voice in the bell to make a sound like the bell makes. Also, the other episode was that he was eating barbeque with drinking some Soju(Korean Alcohol) with other friends and monks in the temple (In the temple, you cannot eat meat nor drink alcohol in Korea.). And he told us few other stories.

He decided not to go to graduate school in Korea, and he went to study abroad to the Soviet Union at that time, to learn and know more about how the Russian artists were thinking and living in the nation that was collapsing.

And, after he finished his studies in Russia, he was busy to shoot some TV dramas and movies. Since he did not have much time for himself, he decided to give him some time to relax in Thailand. When he was swimming in the ocean in Thailand, he realized something was going bad. He could not touch the bottom, and he could not breathe well neither. When he felt that he could not breathe anymore, he started to look inside of himself like he used to do in Yoga Class. He was looking and listening what was passing by and telling him. At that moment, his parents and family were passing his mind, one movie that he got a contract but did not shoot was passing, and the LOVE, GOD gave us, was passing his mind. He realized that he was blessed with full of LOVE from the others and he did not give LOVE back to others. Somehow, he got help to survive from that accident, and he came back to Korea without any harm.

From that accident until now, he is shooting some dramas and movies.

Finally, he was telling the audience (most of them were UGA undergraduate and graduate students.) that whenever you face the hardness of life (ex. Identity…), please think about what he said in this lecture and if that can help you to get over your hardness, it will be the greatest lecture that he did and be the most happiness thing ever he made. And, he wanted us to succeed on what we are doing, and PLEASE meet somebody who you LOVE. This was the last comment of his lecture.

The “shout messages” all of you have sent me through professor Yi, Hyangsoon, truly encouraged me, too.
Because it was a first time, it has been a quite nerve-wracking experience.
I was truly lost at times as to what needs to be done and said

Thinking of what to say at the lecture went on for over a month and it continued ‘til the very moment before the speech.
Thankfully, the event went well, and I believe the many students at the event enjoyed it as well.

I thank the students at the University of Georgia Athens for listening to the speech with such an interest to me and to what I had to say.

And, also, the friendliness and the hospitality of Georgia have left me a big and lasting impression.
This have been an unforgettable experience.
