I saw in the SPCNET forum that Alec and Ruby was caught dating in Taipei from 6 pm to midnight, they went to eat, shop, chat at starbucks and watched a movie.

hi! :) thanks for the files! i was able to download some of them already... alec and ruby dating? hmmm... tagal na nila dinedeny yan eh! well if she makes him happy, i'm happy! pero i still want to see alec do a movie or series with vicky! :D

i was able to watch alec guested in dee's talk show (i'm just not sure if it's new, first time ko lang nakita eh...). ang daldal niya! and dee's so funny! fan pala siya ng xiao hu dui dati, hehe... she even know the dance steps of their old songs... waahhh! alec looks so good! ;)

Noon AV fan din ako, kaso ngayon Alec fan na lang ako. Di na ako ganoon ka interested sa activities ni Vicki. Noon 2 talaga sinusubaybayan ko... Napagod na ata e. Pero I like Vicki pa rin. Kaso mas like ko na si Alec... :) Pero if ever may series uli sila magkasama, manonood ako for sure. Malaki na inimprove nila sa acting, so I'm sure magiging maganda...

Puro Alec-Ruby na lang lately, after magician, may isa pa ata silang dalawa e. Ok lng din, pero mas ok siguro kung Alec-Vicki

:) ayoko si ruby for alec. alec is for vicky and ruby is for jimmy. hehe! grabe galing kong mag-rhyme. although, hindi ko rin maiwasan baka na-develop sina alec and ruby pero i've been watching ruby for several years, sa observation ko wala naman nagbago sa kanila ni alec. she's more nervous pag si nababanggit yung pangalan ni jimmy ( kaya madalas siyang tuksuhin ni alec pag ganun reaction ). napanood niyo ba yung happy sunday ni ruby last year? ang lakas mang-asar ni alec. such an admiring friendship, walang halong ere. inisip ko din na if totoong nag-dedate sila, sana kasing explosive yun like jay chou and patty hou scandal. minsan inisip ko din kasi meron silang upcoming series, pero they've known each other for so long kaya natural lang yun. even me nanunuod ako ng sine with a guy friend kami lang.

about happy sunday... ewan ko kung fate yun pero alam niyo ba na yung first commercial ni ruby (back in 1994) si alec (nasa little tigers pa siya nun) ang kumanta ng jingle. hindi daw kilala ni ruby si alec that time and tinutukso siya ni alec na isa lang naman ang kilala niya among four heavenly kings of taiwan... Lin ang apelyido.. tapos sabi ni alec nakalimutan daw niya ang name (nag-flash sa TV picture ni jimmy lin).

The filming finale of DMGZ drama serial on the 11th afternoon was, awaiting the birth of Emperor Su¡¯s new born babies¡¦.yes, Emperor Su got a pair of twins – a boy and a girl. The news reported that Alec had commented that in all the roles that he had acted, besides being promoted from a magistrate to a prince to now an emperor, this was the first time that he became a full-fledged father!!!

In a nutshell, in Papa Jang¡¯s Thank You Note he said the following

He thanked Alec, all other actors, all the Chinese and the Korean filming crew, the cooks, etc. etc.

According to Superstar Company, the post editing works would take about 2 months. Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Guangdong, Hei Long Jiang and other Provinces TV stations have already bought the first airing rights of the serial as well.

The original make-up filming/wrapping up of filming was scheduled for the 15th of July. As the director of photography was wary of the summer rains and hence cramped and completed the filming by 3 days earlier instead. Nara wept when everything came to a stop.

It was reported in the news that she had commented, ¡°I think I can never forget the days spent with the filming crew of Diao Man Gong Zhu. As the end of the filming draws nearer, the more I would feel void and afraid cos I have grew deep-seated attachments and sentiments with them all. Hope that when the time comes, we would not just part our ways immediately but that we can still stay back a day more to chit chat.¡±

There was a post-filming party on the 11th night with 200 filming crew attending it with the actors. At the party, Nara¡¯s fan club distributed out their club¡¯s calendars and a human figurine gift to all attendees; the actors¡¯ collected money awards were converted as lucky draw prizes.

Papa Jang had a cameo role on the last day of filming – it was a very humourous character, which sent everyone on the set rolling with laughter.

In about 10 days¡¯ time, the serial would be sent to Shanghai for dubbing. In October, the serial will be examined by the Authorities and will then be broadcast IN JANUARY 2006 on China¡¯s TV stations as well as other Chinese communities. It would be aired in Korea just as early.

Nara will leave for Beijing on the 12th for the recording of the theme song with Alec.
[¡¦Afternote: A message was posted at Nara¡¯s official website on the 16th that both Alec and Nara had completed recording the theme song on the 14th of July¡¦The song is a bright and chirpy song. In one of the news report, the Show Host asked Chae Rim who is her next
co-star lead, she replied out of context, "Be it in Korea or China, have
not met such a good man like Su Youpeng before." In order not to have
any misunderstanding, Alec quickly interceded, "Let's have the facts right,
I am older than her and it is purely siblings feelings only."

Throughout the interview, both of them were singing praises for each other.
Chae Rim also said that Alec is a very nice guy, very charming and she
extremely likes his personality and looks. Alec "confessed" that he truly
likes her and if she was not married and she is willing to come to China
to learn Chinese for 3 years, he would pursuit her as he said, it is no
fun dating with an interpreter tagging along. Chae Rim retorted, "zhen
de ma? (is it true)" and he look into her eyes with earnest, "zhen de" !!!

Having collaborated twice, inevitable intimate scenes are abound, would
her husband be jealous. She responded laughingly and revealed her "secret
weapon": will try with utmost not to express too much and so hubby would
not misunderstand.

However, she was more reticent at an exclusive interview later, unlike earlier
intervies, probably cos her mum was sitting beside her...when she was asked
whether her husband or Alec was more good looking and which of the two sing
better, she replied cheekily, "this is a rather difficult question. It
would be best to ask it when I am alone."

Magic Touch of Fate is currently being telecast on Channel 2 of Wuhan TV
Station. What are Su Youpeng's feelings with regard to collaborating with
An Qi Xuan and his "old partner", Lin Xin Ru. The reporter had a telephone
interview with Su Youpeng yesterday, (7th) who was in China. Su Youpeng's
voice was very cordial over the phone interview. The feeling was just like
a big sunny boy - when touched on a happy subject, he will guffawed with
loud laughter.


MAGIC FACINATED ME

Reporter:
In this drama, you portray as a commoner which is different from your past
characters of coming from a wealthy home/idol type roles. How would/do
you see this character?

Alec:
Actually discarding the external extrinsics, I am even more willing to try
different character roles. This is a story about the struggles of the young/
youths. I feel that this character is somewhat akin to my own experience.
From being obscure to widely known; put in a lot of hard work. I was
truly touched when I read the script.

Reporter:
In your opinion, what was the most captivating factor for you in this drama?

Alec:
Cos has my old partner, Lin Xin Ru, in it, (guffawed with loud laughter
after he said it). Actually, it was me who had recommended Xin Ru to read
this script and she then accepted it too. This drama's theme is a bit
out of the ordinary. It is about magic and thus find it interesting.
Also, it has Kangta, such a great Korean actor, in it too. Can be considered
as crossing the borders ba (laughs). Is just too familiar with Xin Ru le.

Reporter:
About Lin Xin Ru, this is the 6th time that both of you are collaborating
together. What are your feelings? Any novel feelings?

Alec:
haha....I have also forgotten the number of times that we had collaborated
together le. (in a jesting tone)...I am just too familiar with her le....probably
might not be collaborating ever again in future ba. Actually the feeling
is very much at ease de, unlike when collaborating with new [...unfamiliar...]
actresses which need a prior period to get acquainted with each other.

What about Kangta?

Alec:
I reckon that he is a very hardworking and talented artiste. Probably cos
he is a singer and has to practise dancing thus he has very captivating
movements when he performed magic on stage. It gave me a feeling of watching a musical.

Reporter:
How's your relationship with him? Heard that there were reports that both
of you were at each other's neck?

Alec:
No such thing la. We are under the gentlemen category ba, ie working colleagues.
He is very tolerant, courteous and pretty withdrawn; has a mysterious feel.


A Challenge to act a Villian...

Reporter:
Before, had seen you in a lot of period dramas and now more in modern day
dramas? What gave rise to it?

Alec:
I personally like modern day dramas as after all, period dramas are too
distant from present life. Moreover, too much of it would not be good as
then would be typecast for it. Of course, having a good modern day drama
script, comes with luck and not by searching for it e.

Reporter:
All your past character roles are all kind and good, have you every considered
acting as a villian?

Alec:
If were to act as a villian, I would prefer true to life type; must be
clear to the cause and effect, eg. some characters are bad/vicious with
no rhyme of reasons so I would probably not consider them. Will depend
on the scripts I received. If it is a good script, may give it due consideration
de. This is also a challenge to me too.

Reporter:
You are now more focused in your acting. What then are your plans in the
music industry?

Alec:
Presently in discussion with a pretty big collaboration. When the time
is ripe, it would be duly announced. Actually, all along, I had never
abandoned singing. I simply love singing.

Reporter:

What are your plans in life? What is your tendency towards acting and singing?

Alec:
Plans in life, would probably be, to be even more hardworking ba; to act
more good quality TV serials; to release more albums. As regards to tendency,
I reckon would be putting in more time into acting ba cos acting takes
up a lot of time; and sometimes it would clash with singing. I often
felt that 24 hrs a day is insufficient for me!

SU YOUPENG'S PRIVATE LIFE REVEALED

SHI DAI YING SHI - WEEK 162

Su Youpeng was barely two days in the beautiful springs city, Jinan, and
he had to leave in a haste after the "Female Rep for Shi Dai Ying Shi" Finals.
In this hurried two days' stay, Youpeng left us with a very deep impression,
not only with his professionalism towards his work; the love for his fans;
his candidness to all but his numerous wisecracks. Just like the habits
of any ordinary person as well as some little annoying flaws would have. But yet,
all these only let us felt that Youpeng is all the more real, adorable and
mischievous.

1, Love to drink soya milk...

Youpeng's favourite beverage is soya milk; even when on the way to the
TV station for recording, he would be holding a cup of it - just like a
small kid holding and drinking it wherever he goes; truly "dou jiang dou
jiang wo ai ni - jiu xiang lao shu ai da mi aka soya milk soya milk, I love
you - just like mice loves rice grain"


2. I love Sweet Corn Creme Soup and Sunny Side...

Youpeng also loves to cook. His favourite is Sweet Corn Creme Soup. His
best cooked dish is sunny side. Youpeng claims that he does it better than
his mum. hee...what a braggart!


3. Ni de gang hao wo de gang shuai...

Youpeng has an extremely natural gift for languages. During the finals,
Karen, the Malaysian finalist taught Youpeng a shoddy Jinan word, "Su Youpeng
gang shuai lai, An [...aka I...] xiang he ni yongbao. [...literally
saying, Alec you are so good looking, I want to hug you...].

However, the Host mistranslated it in jest, "Youpeng you are so good looking
that your home's gang is also good looking" [...gang means a vat...but
supposed the Jinan dialect means "you are very.." that sort...]

After that, Youpeng time and again used the Jinan dialect word "gang"...he
would say, "ni chang de gang hao aka you sang very well", "Jinan gang piao
liang aka Jinan is very beautiful", "Ci ci dai yan gang kai xin aka very
happy to be the spokesperson for this"


4. Can't be without the mirror...

...probably has too high an expectations of his image/looks. Before he
leaves for any destination, he would look left and look right at himself
in front of the mirror; so much so have to hurry him at least 3 to 4 times
before he take leave unwillingly like. The zeal he showed into the mirror
only make one wish that one is his mirror in order to be able to smile back
at him every day. Who asks that he "gang" shuai had come!


5. A mysterious call...

Having been in showbiz for so many years, Youpeng would naturally have made
a lot of friends in the entertainment circle and they too would often play
some practical pranks.

The phone rang and it displayed that it is a private number calling. Youpeng
answered it suspiciously without speaking. Two sweet coyly said "wei, wei"
was heard from the calling party. Youpeng hung up in shock. A few seconds
later, the phone rang again. Youpeng decided to let his assistant answered
it. When the caller didn't hear that it was Youpeng's voice, quickly identified
herself, "aiya, I am Ruby ya". Youpeng heaved a sigh of relief, smiled
and joyfully took over the phone, "Hah!! it is you. I am now in Shandong
ne. There is Da Ming Lake over here. It is your, Ziwei Ge Ge's, hometown
ne......"


6. Inherent lazybones...

Youpeng sure have lots of luggages, 6 big bagfuls of them, thus the room
is all over with them. And, Youpeng is a inborn lazybone; he just don't
know how to keep his room tidy hence it was messy like a doghouse.


7. Occasional muddleheaded...

Youpeng is happy and joyous everyday but he sure can send everybody to panic stations
when he is in a daze or muddled. Sending him off at the
airport, the whole entourage was getting out their passports to check in but Youpeng
couldn't find his. He thus had to open up all his luggages meant to be
checked in. The seconds ticked by and Youpeng began to suspect that he
might have left it in the drawer in the Hotel. Just as everybody thought
they have to cancel the flight back, Youpeng suddenly yelled out, "It is
here, it's in here." He found it in his hand-carried bag.

Yung pinakagusto kong period drama ni Alec ay yung Heavenly Sword and Dragon Saber. But the other period dramas comes close too. Puro ko sila gusto. Now that you mentioned HZGG, dami yatang nabaliw sa kanya in that series. Pinapalabas sya sa Taiwan that time I was there with friends and yung isang roommate ko, kinikilig sa mga scences nila ni Zhao Wei! Pinanood ko sya pagbalik ko dito and I can understand why everyone liked Wu Ah Ge. Sayang nga lang nung ginawa yung part 3, di na sya kasama.

[¡¦A BRIEF SYNOPSIS OF THE PLOT¡¦]

Su Youpeng¡¯s ¡°Special¡± on Desert Felony Pursuit

¡°Wu A Ge¡±, Su Youpeng, came yesterday, (10th Oct), all because of a movie titled, ¡°Taklamakan¡± which officially rolled off its camera.

Yesterday, under the ruckus of the media and fans gathering, the two main leads, Su Youpeng and Qin Hai Lau appeared at the press conference. Su Youpeng, the main lead, is Police Officer, Cheng Cheng and Qin Hai Lu will act as his girl friend, Ya Dan. This is their first collaboration together.

The movie is about the grass-root unit of a people¡¯s policeman, Cheng Cheng, acted by Su Youpeng, in a local police station, entered Taklamakan Desert in hot pursuit of an escaped convict. The director and script writer is the new age director, Zhen Ren. He had worked and lived in Xinjiang for many years and was a policeman for more than 10 years. The movie will have location shoots in Devil City and Tian Shan Lake (see picture below)¡¦for about 18 days. It is estimated to be completed by year end and be screened in the new year.

Su Youpeng Special Interview: For the sake of movie, I have to learn the Xinjiang dialect!

¡°This attire of mine, I had bought it at the night bazaar de. Last night was having a location shoot in the street and even my personal assistant couldn¡¯t even recognize me!¡± When Su Youpeng appeared in a light brown jacket, he looked extremely like ¡°one of the locals¡±. He really made us dropped our jaws in stupefaction. He explained, ¡°As the weather is about to change, hence the filming unit bought this for me. A lot of lads in the local police station also wear like this.¡±

¡°Guai guai hu¡± grinned adorably, said, ¡°ha..ha..I was not even recognized when walking on the streets. For the sake of the role, I had even cut my locks! It was such a heartache to me ah.¡±

Our interview was thus conducted under such a relaxed and easy going atmosphere.


About TV/Movies: it is a great honour in one¡¯s life time to act in Jin Yong¡¯s works¡¦

Reporter: Let¡¯s talk about this movie of yours.,

Alec: I was captivated by the script. I had never portrayed the role of a policeman. In this movie, I am a small village middle-level police officer. This is very challenging for me; have to chase thieves in a SUV. When my brother heard that I will be taking up this role, he extolled that I was cool! In order to be as realistic as possible, I not only made a break through in my persona but also put in a lot of efforts in my lines. In order to avert my Taiwan accent, I have to learn and emulate the Xinjiang dialect . However, I believe there is nothing that cannot be learnt. Before I came, I had especially watched the movie ¡°Liu Lian Piao Piao¡±. I reckon that Qin Hai Lu had acted very well. Believe that our collaboration would be a success.

Reporter: Having acted in so many TV dramas, which is your favourite?

Alec: Should be Yi Tian Tu Long Ji. To be able to act in one of Jin Yong¡¯s works, it is a great honour in any actor¡¯s life time.

Reporter: All these years, you have been striving towards TV dramas and Movies. Seems like you are a bit lacking in your music?

Alec: I had always been persistent to release at least one album a year. The theme song for Diao Man Gong Zhu, a duet with Jang Nara, would be released at the end of this year.

Reporter: Do you like acting or singing?

Alec: Acting allows me to understand different types of people. When singing, I feel that I can be myself.

Reporter: It looks as if the movie industry in Taiwan is not too prospective in the last 2 years. Except for Director, Cai Ming Liang¡¯s movie ¡°Tian Bian De Yi Duo Yun¡±, there aren¡¯t many box office movies at all.

Alec: Taiwan people like to watch Hollywood¡¯s blockbusters. There are 80 TV channels. To compete with each other, they would often air some overseas blockbusters. This sort of scenario could also be felt in some smaller towns as well. The Taiwanese production costs are relatively on low budgets and thence they are not able to contend with big budget productions. Thus, internationally, they can only gear towards the path of arty shows.


About Re-grouping: Often hope upon it but has to depend on a lucky chance¡¦

Reporter: Presently, The Little Tigers are each going his own way. Will you all re-group again?

Alec: In actuality, we have been in constant contact all these past years. It is just that the three of us had never appeared together in the media¡¯s presence. The other two are actually doing pretty well too. Wu Qi Long has also put his fingers in TV/Movie production works ne. He is also a boss of a restaurant in Beijing. Earlier, I had celebrated my birthday in his restaurant. As to re-grouping, I had always been looking forward to it but it has to dependent on a lucky chance.

Reporter: Not long ago, you had established a Su Youpeng Heart of Love Charity Foundation, what was its original intention?

Alec: 17 years since the establishment of the Little Tigers, we have received lots of rooting, care and love from one and all. Hence, today, I am dedicating myself to public good/welfare as a way of pay back to all.


Romance: Date how many times? Ever hurt by it?

Reporter: How would you evaluate your beleagured rumours linked with Zhao Wei and Lin Xin Ru?

Alec: (Laughed and shook his head in bewilderment) I don¡¯t have any beleagured rumours la. Zhao Wei is intelligent and is playful but during the recent meet up, felt that she has matured a lot. Xin Ru is very amiable; is more easy to get along with; has a very straight forward personality.

Reporter: Men are able to establish themselves at 30 – a right age to marry and embark on a career and yet you are still single. Is your ideal partner in life like the gentle Lin Xin Ru type?

Alec: She is not what she appears like ne. She is very¡¦.(laughs). It seems like it is difficult to find a girl friend. To find one is easy but is difficult to maintain the relationship. Have to leave it to destiny ba. Everyone is changing every day. To step into marriage, both parties have to be united in action. In actuality, it is not important to have a beautiful girl friend. Had gone into a couple of love relationships but was scarred deeply by them. (laughs)

Reporter: Had collaborated with Chae Rim in Qing Din Ai Qin Hai and Jang Nara in Diao Man Gong Zhu, discuss on your collaboration with both of them.

Alec: Both of them are very professional. Jang Nara is the adorable, simple and unaffected type. Chae Rim just got married for two weeks and was with me filming Qing Ding Ai Qin Hai. (Reporter: Isn¡¯t her husband jealous about it?) Her husband dotes on her extravagantly. He is of good morality quality. Moreover, I am not a casual person either. Just that the language barrier was a barricade in our collaboration. Chae Rim¡¯s first spoken Chinese words were, ¡°Chicken and Duck talk¡±


Re Korean Wave: Don¡¯t be envious¡¦.must produce good shows

Reporter: What do you think of the craze over ¡°Da Chang Jin¡± in Mainland China.

Alec: I reckon that this is a good thing for the viewers. After China has joined WTO, external cultures and ideologies will gush in. This is very normal. The Korean TV/Movies had expanded swiftly in the last two years, they have their own reasons for them. Their earlier productions were really rigorous, strict and compact. They are willing to invest heavily too. One Bae Yong Joon alone gave their country tremendous economy benefits. I reckon that neither an artiste or any Mainland film producers should be ¡°envious¡± of the Korean wave/craze. Our focal point is how to produce a good film/show; develop and promote vigorously national TV/Movie productions. Also, Da Chang Jin was also a hot favourite in Hongkong and Taiwan. I didn¡¯t like it. Only gave a few glances and was disinterested le. On the other hand, I could hum the theme song after listening to it twice.

Reporter: What is the difference between filming abroad and in the Mainland?

Alec: Filming abroad enabled me to understand the local human and environmental conditions, e.g. in Korea, the director lords over. In the filming unit, all would be reverent and respectful to the director. Moreover, traditionally, rookies will watch by the sides when the veterans are acting.

IMO, they should've used the original 'Legendary Twins', mas bagay sa theme ng story, mas 'wuxia' ang dating, un 'Outstanding' parang modern ang dating hehe.

I agree with your choice of title. Outstanding Twins aounds odd. Anyway, that's one of my favorite TV series kaya aabangan ko ang paglabas nito sa TV. Airing na pala ang Love of the Aegean Sea? Wow! Love ko talaga si Alec sa Aegean Sea. Love the tan, the hair, and the way he dresses! Love the buttoned down style! Akala ko di ko mapapanood yung scene where Andrei invited Michelle for a date and di sila nagkita! Pinalabas pala kagabi. I don't get to watch Aegean Sea on TTh kasi may class me. Anyway, I really like that scene! I'm glad that the background song wasn't replaced. Yung song na yan, hanggang ngayon, di pa rin ako nagsasawa.:)
