although i never noticed the resemblance naman.. kung hindi nya pinoint out haha :D siguro kasi pagnanjan si wheesung sya nalang tinitignan ko ahhaha :D

Well on 4-14-05... Jinusean, Tablo, and Tim were guests on Happy Together. As many of you may know, the issue over the Dokdo Islets is really flaming up right now. Well they sang the song "Dokdo Neun Oori Ddang" that night and apparently, the guests didn't do a very good job. Their pronunciation was bad and they didn't really know the lyrics nor the history behind te song.

Well it's not normal for guests to know the lyrics on that show, right? Nor the mc's for that matter. And in this case, the guests grew up in the States or Canada... so it's even more unlikely for them to know the song. I was at the Happy Together site at KBS and I just wandered by the Viewer Opinion section and noticed that many people were bashing them now saying they're a disgrace and they should give up their careers and what not... it's pretty sad.

I just thought I'd post this cuz it bothered me. I understand that as Koreans they should know a little more about their country especially if they're living there and working there... but still. I don't think it's something that they should be getting such harsh criticism for...

What do you think?

Brief Summary:

On the 15th May, Yang Hyun Suk from YG Entertainment has released the latest news regarding Wheesung, Gummy and Lexy.

Lexy will release her 2nd album in July 2005 and will go to Africa to film her music video. Lexy will bring a fresh new musical direction that few artists in Korea will have. Like her first album, she will have a lots of songs that hopefully will become popular (like her first album). She has been practising for a long time for her dance choreography and her singing for this new album.

Besides Lexy, Wheesung and Gummy will be the producers of their own new albums. They will apply their own musical ideals in their albums. Wheesung and Gummy albums will release around autumn this year. YG said both of them have p***ionate and wild (?) feelings towards music. Therefore, letting them be their own producers will bring the best in themselves to the fans.

as far as i know hindi sya ganun ka galing magenglish pero madami din syang english songs e.. i guess he's learning since dba frens sila ni brian (FTTS), jinusean etc :D sna nga matuto na syang magenglish ng mabuti para mabilis nyang maintindihan ung marriage proposal ko hahah :D

Rcently, yang hyun suk has been saying "You've gotten prettier" to gummy alot~ she's been working out alot as well as recording

YG Entertainment, the agency of the female group "Big Mama," reported on June 28 that the U.S. R&B group "Boyz II Men" had made an offer to Big Mama to perform together. Boyz II Men, who will visit Korea this coming October to promote their new album, chanced across Big Mama's album and were impressed by the group's outstanding vocals, according to the agency.

"Boyz II Men also offered to include songs that it will jointly perform with Big Mama as bonus tracks in its new album. The album will be sold in Korea and Japan," said YG Entertainment.

Famous for innumerable hits such as "End of the Road", Boyz II Men has become a benchmark for many R&B musicians and a capella groups all over the world.

"We have been fans of Boyz II Men since childhood. We grew up listening to their songs. We are happy to receive such an offer from them, but we're also worried if we will perform well," said Big Mama. YG Entertainment has finished major negotiations with the representatives of Boyz II Men, and is currently discussing the details. The official contract will be signed soon.

If Big Mama signs a contract with Boyz II Men, their joint performance is likely to take place in mid-October. Big Mama will visit the United States in August to record the songs with Boyz II Men.
