The main role of drama is to focus on giving a deep impression and fun. At this point, yet, due to produce only for fun, most of the dramas make audiences unsatisfied and even them away from screen. Being produced as a special drama program for 80’s birth of Korean Broadcasting System (KBS), ‘Several Questions that make us happy’ organized by three omnibus episodes would give an opportunity to point out main role of drama becoming faint. May it give you hope when you have none, may it inspire you when you most need it, and may it remind you to take things lightly and never be so serious that you forget to laugh. Wish you love, joy, courage and the strength to persevere.

Inspire audience having volunteer for community service is pleasure and responsibility required.

It is produced for the purpose of Crusade against the international illiteracy abandon-child (also volunteer for North Koreans) since all those staffs belong the drama production make contribution to ‘Korean JTS’ in the UN-designated NGO Federation. It is not only to accomplish the in-depth drama but also to point out a serious meaning of volunteer service.

Produce a drama obtaining the publishable, valuable, humorous and socially restoring meaning of broadcasting.

In the story, through the inside of the characters having relationship as colleague and junior and senior in a company, it draws distorted but impressed pictures of our real life such as miscommunication in our society, property of human raised with unhappiness, and shift blame on others without recognizing ourselves. Thus, it tends to ask a question seriously ‘Why am I unhappy now? Can I really persuade happiness?’. Being all too aware of the stresses and pressures you are under, it has worked diligently to give you a drama that will offer you the inspiration, motivation, insights and comic relief you will need for living these days.

Omnibus 1: Why do we feel lonely?

The real happiness we can actually feel with.

The manager Kim, Na-yoen, and Suk-joo, they all think each of them is a good person. Yet, why do they feel lonely? A pretty good-looking but still not being married over middle-40s woman Na-yoen, a very much masculine middle 20s man Suk-joo, early 50s man sudden suggestion of legal separation from his wife. The others can recognize why they are unhappy, but they cannot. Living in the worst period in the life, what is the keyword they find out?

Getting off from taxi, Sun-je is totally lost due to being too drunk last night. By the way, where is it? The driver says “Tong-yeong! You asked me to take to Tong-yeong.” He never understands why he did so. He cannot find out any relationship of Tong-yeong with himself.
By the way, once he looks at the blue bridge (named as Tong-yoeng Bridge), her memory jumps into the past of one year.
A sexual relationship with some woman and some images, handing up like flying high in front of the bridge are passing as the flash cuts in his head. Who was the woman?
Sun-jae sets in front of the bridge and opens his arms just like the time, and then recall the memory.
Start remembering as looking the neon lights undersea tunnel. The woman was running away as being chased by someone. He met the woman at the police station. At the snack stall, being under the anger because of the news, his name was left off the promotion list, he persists stubbornly to not to pay for only one piece of chicken. He finally was pulled along to the police station. Once the woman pays for him, he could get out of it, however, he start running away and stealing into the tunnel because of some man who seems like a Mafioso. He kissed the woman in the tunnel and go into a motel to hide them.
Finally, he realized that he is under some relationship with Tong-yoeng. By the way, what happened to her after that? He couldn’t see a motor scooter due to many serious thoughts. Both of the yellow scooter and him are felled down. Then, he meets her, Han Soo-ji, so similar with, yet so different from the woman in 1-year-past.

Omnibus 3: Family

Check up the tenacious love among our family.

One day, Hyun-ji causes an accident while drinking with Jung-wook. It happened to her, treating with contemptuous and scornful attitude so far, she tries to push out the memory. As long as searching for all the sites related sex, she is getting more nervous and despair among the wild people’s comments and rumors, and it is too hard to go to the pharmacy to buy the pregnant-tester, moreover, going to the bathroom is extremely contempt for her. The final place she finds out through wandering from the school area and the downtown is the public bathroom deep in the mountain in the town. However, she meets her father wearing a suit and shoes.

If i'm not mistaken BW is up to 60 episodes...sa August kasi may papalit na new drama sa BW sa Korea...since delayed tayo ng 1 month...maybe mga August pa matatapos ang BW sa KBS World

Summer...what happened sa ending ng Here Comes Ajumma? kasi may pasok ako nung last episode niya....nung nanood ako last Friday bago na pala and pumalit...I loved the series as well...

Yung ending ng Ajumma, Meet na dapat family nila Uchan and Onim to discuss the wedding. Last minute, she decided to go with Jaegwang on a trip, bawi daw kasi si Jaegwang sa kanya because he did not give her a proper honeymoon and life. Sumunod si Uchan but umuwi then after. Nabuko na din ni Uchan na may relationship aunt and dad niya. Initially, di niya ma-take ( ako din, lol!) but as usual, natanggap na din niya. So ang plan nung dalawa, they will live overseas and iwan na business kay Uchan. Nagbati na din si Junseok and Uchan, pati sa dad niya so they took him again in the business, and si Hyoju, pumayag na din na i-try na silang dalawa nila Junseok.
Nung initial telecast ng TV show ni Onim, Jaegwang was rushed to the hospital pero naabutan pa niya. That was then she decided to break with Uchan and alagaan si Jaegwang. Uchan told her he can only wait for a year so they're supposed to meet after a year dun sa fave beach nila. Pero Jaegwang eventually died, but before this, binilin niya si Onim and Sarang kay Uchan.
One year after, successful na si Onim and met up with Uchan.

Ngayon lang ako na-hook sa isang morning drama, ganda kasi eh pero ayoko na ata! Ang haba naman kasi.

maganda itong drama na to. nakaka touch yung gestures ni song il kook kay han ga in... sigh. the eldest sis of han ga in (bida in emperor of the sea) is magaling din sa acting niya dito. this is one of the few long dramas that i really liked next to wooden carousel and ariyoung.

Taesop and Jiyeon coincidentally meet in front of the hospital and they just greet each other and leave. Eunji gets her cast taken off and in order to celebrate that President Choi holds a family party. President Choi invites Jiyeon and President Choi suggests that Junho and Jiyeon get back together.
Taesop and Jiyeon tries to forget about their breakup and go on with their life. Saejoong feels happy with Taesop.
Lady Byun sends a present to Jiyeon's family for Junho and Jiyeon's remarriage.

JY saw the news while she was at JH's house after she & EJ had dinner with the family ... she could not hold her emotions, that she run out of the house, presumably to be with TS & t'was here that JH with EJ in his arms saw her leaving ... *** end of the drama.

The ending was open ended you decide what had happen did she go to TS or JH in the end **** those writers !!

I really don't like the ending...I don't like a cliff hanging ending...it seem the writer got a problem how this series will end...the title HAPPY WOMAN...didn't give justice to the lead actress..because until the end...she is not a happy woman. How can you call a series Happy Woman when the series didn't end the lead star to be happy. Unless the writer have different connotation or meaning of being a happy woman.

I surveyed some of my Korean students as what is their favorite TV station, almost 2 out of 3 say they love MBC programs over that of KBS.

One of my Korean students even say that KBS shows lack the excitement and the attraction. Koreans are not really watching KBS because KBS is run by the government of South Korea. Most Koreans go for MBC.

The move to have MBC TV on Global Destiny Cable is actually an advantage to its Korean subscribers, who number more than those who are hooked to Sky Cable. It also reinforces Global Destiny's focus on original Asian television content.

I first noticed KBS World's transition to MBC TV last Wednesday. My immediate response was, now we lovers of domestic Taiwanese TV are not alone anymore in terms of getting original domestic programming.

Korean-Filipinos too for the first time, can now view domestic content of their TV shows through MBC TV @ Global Destiny 60. Even I, who knew little or no Korean, is now monitoring the channel.

My only wish is that Global Destiny can add their cable TV bandwidth soon, but I guess that can only be done when it totally digitalizes its cable infrastructure, which Sky Cable already has. Then and only then, we might be able to see KBS World on Global Destiny again. (Or, they simply knock out Formosa News Channel 61, which is laden with pixelating video for the most part of its broadcasts, and have KBS World move there instead. We are content with just TVBS News.)

Those of us plain Korean program lovers couldn't help at all with the change, because with KBS World's change to MBC TV, Global Destiny's Korean subscribers had just become happier. And Global Destiny has for its Korean subscribers, some of the most influential leaders of the local Korean-Filipino community.

Grrrrr! "restrictions in market situation in the Phils"? I just hate it why they have to do business this way. Yes, greediness to the max!

So Destiny is pushed to the wall again. Admittedly if you're Korean or understand Korean, the current situation is advantageous. But honestly, I don't have the patience to watch a series without subs. My dilemna is I'm really looking forward to the upcoming daily series and the new weekend drama which are not usually subbed. Oh well :(

In this case,we really have to be afraid if a Global Destiny cable channel will appear on Sky, because sooner or later, it might get axed out on Global Destiny. Look what happened to AXN before, and now KBS World. Your suspicions that Sky is the real suspect is the same here with me.

FYI, Home Cable still exists. However, since 2005 they are now known as Sky Cable Silver. Ergo, its just Sky and Global Destiny that are the major cable TV providers in the Metro.

However, I maintain that Sky and Global Destiny hold different markets, and in no way, they are directly competing against each other right now ever since the STAR TV fiasco. And I hope the Destiny programming people would squeeze a tighter rein on the acquisition of Asian channels particularly those from Taiwan and Korea, so that these channels won't be acquired anymore by Sky, and eventually become exclusive to Global Destiny.

I haven't been watching any shows this week sa KBS World pero most probably recent ung shows/episodes na pinapakita nila. No time to do subs plus Chuseok Festival kasi sa Korea kaya puro specials gingawa nila.

BTW, I Am Sam will air an hour late sa Monday so 10pm siya. Heads-up lang ^-^

I surveyed some of my Korean students as what is their favorite TV station, almost 2 out of 3 say they love MBC programs over that of KBS.

One of my Korean students even say that KBS shows lack the excitement and the attraction. Koreans are not really watching KBS because KBS is run by the government of South Korea. Most Koreans go for MBC.



Tama ka....Mas Exciting Talaga ang MBC kaysa sa KBS...Lalo na ang KBS2.

Humhina na ang Ratings ng KBS2...Kasi naman Hindi na nagugustuhan ng mga Tao ang Commercialization Concept ng 2TV,Dapat Non Commercial ito,Just like KBS1.

Kasi naman sa Hirap ng Buhay ngayon,Sino ba naman ang Gugusthing Magbayad para sa Isang Government-Owned Commercial TV Staion?

^ thank you for your wonderful insight...actually when I go to a Korean online community like Soompi, more members there prefer MBC over KBS mainly bcoz it is a government station and like you said most of their programs are entertaining as well since I started to watch the channel for over a week now, the disadvantage nga is KBS World has English Subs while the MBC that we have is directly linked to Korea...with the greediness of Sky Cable, I think though the initial reaction would be KBS is a big loiss to Destiny, hopefully other subscriber who miss KBS World would appreciate MBC as well, I'm purely Filipino but I'm now starting to like the channel...though I still miss KBS World

Actually,MBC is Also a Part of The Korea's National Government,They own 70% of The shares of The Network,So MBC is also Considered as a Public Broadcaster...

But the Difference is that yung sa KBS,100% nito ay pag-aari ng Gobyerno ng Korea,Samantala,30% ng shares ng MBC ay Pinatatakbo ng isang Private Owned Cultural foundation.

Television viewers are reacting angrily to a decision by the Korean Broadcasting Commission to allow mid-program TV ads on the nation's three major TV stations. Since the panel made the decision Friday, civic groups have launched a signature-collecting campaign to call for the scrapping of the commission's plan on these commercial breaks.

It is regrettable that the panel voted for the plan without reflecting viewers' strong opposition. The commission has come under criticism for ignoring the rights of the audience who have already complained about the growing number of commercials aired by the key three TV broadcasters. The three are the state-run Korea Broadcasting System (KBS) and two commercial stations ― Munhwa Broadcasting Corp. (MBC) and Seoul Broadcasting System (SBS).

Especially, the broadcasting panel is being slammed for allowing the public channel KBS to air the mid-program commercials. The move came after the broadcaster in July decided to raise its monthly subscription fee by 60 percent from the present 2,500 won to 4,000 won. Critics ask a question: How can KBS function as a public broadcaster when it is allowed to make more money by airing more ads?

The public has accused KBS of trying to collect more subscription fees without making any efforts for badly needed managerial restructuring. KBS officials claimed that the fee increase is necessary to help viewers in remote areas have easier access to the airwaves. They also said that the rise is inevitable to finance a project of completing the transition to digital broadcasting by 2012.

In return for the fee hike, the broadcaster has promised to cut down the number of commercials on its KBS-2 TV to improve its image as a public channel. On the contrary, the broadcasting commission's decision, if implemented, would allow the KBS-2 channel to increase the number of ads by taking advantage of the mid-program commercial breaks. The government-run station cannot avoid criticism that it is more focused on moneymaking. No country around the world allows mid-program commercials for public broadcasters.

In South Korea, mid-program commercials are only permitted for some sports and show programs in which adverts are aired during the breaks in a limited way. Other mid-program commercials have been banned since 1974. It goes without saying that such in-between advertising disturbs comfortable TV viewing. The two commercial TVs ― MBC and SBS ― are also required to refrain from bothering the audience with such commercials.

Media industry experts predict that the three TV stations could rake in a combined 530 billion won in additional ad revenue from mid-program ads. They pointed out that the broadcasters would prefer such commercials because they are much more profitable than ordinary ones. The broadcasting commission, most of whose members are pro-government, claimed that mid-program commercials are required to help the three broadcasters improve their service quality and strengthen their competitiveness before market opening. But their claim is not persuasive.

Cable TV channels and other media, including newspapers, are worried that their advertising revenues might decline as more advertisers are expected to prefer mid-program commercials due to their greater effect. They urged the broadcasting commission to withdraw its decision in a move to ensure the balanced development of different media. Some analysts raised suspicions that the commission is trying to wield influence on the three TV stations by easing the advertising rules before the Dec. 19 presidential election.

meron pa namang palabas sa kbs d2 sa amin as of now eto nga at nanonood ako sky ang subscription namin. nde ko nga amsyadong nabasa yung flash nila nakita ko na lang na tatangalin hanggang april 30 a lang yata, sana nga mali ang basa ko at sana talaga nde nila tangalin.

Dito sa maybunga,pasig nawala ang kbs world sa sky cable gold,tumawag ako sa skycable sabi nila nagupgrade daw ng line d2 pero yung ibang area dw may kbs pa tapos sabi ko ano gagawin ko eh adik ako sa mga korean dramas sbi nila magkabit na lang daw ako ng digibox 1,500 lang para makapanood pa rin ako ng kbs kaya no choice ako kundi magsubscribe nito nang dahil yan sa ayaw ko mamiss ang ending ng hong gildong at upcoming dramas ng kbs.
