Vickai...wala pang thread and Seven Princesses/Infamous Chill Sisters dito sa Tsinoy...I was thinking if I should make one or not pero kung wala pa, kahit tayo-tayo na lang magumpisa ng thread pwede...I gave up on making the summaries for the drama kasi busy ako sa work pero when I have the time I still get to watch it...ang story niya is about 4 sisters with Chil or Seven in Korean sa mga pangalan nila sina Dukchil, Sulchil, Michil at Ttengchil tapos yung mga pangyayari sa mga buhay nila

Kainis, akala ko Great Inheritance and ipapalit but yung pinalabas pala kaninang umaga was a different drama, "Back to the right places" ata ang title at di ko talaga kilala yung mga bida. Automatic yun ang ipapalabas tonight di ba? Yikes, am not sure why... :(

I just watched yung replay ng Entertainment Relay and kasama pala dito si Jo Jung Rin! In fairness, she lost weight nga and ang ganda din niya ngayon! Fave ko kasi sila ni Minwoo sa NONSTOP 5. Happy naman ako, yung cast ng Nonstop 5 are moving on, yung bida dito si Hyejun, galing din duon saka yung bida sa Spring Waltz si Hyojoo.
If only for Jungrin, try ko panuorin ito. Hirap kasi daily drama. Guys, pasabi naman dito kung malapit na matapos ang Bizaare Bunch! :)

no probs summer...pareho pala tayo...I don't know but just 2 years ago, KBS had the best dramas on TV until last year but now, not all their dramas get high ratings (if you're a ratings type of person, you'll get what I mean) but anyway I guess pana-panahon lang yan...but I love thier variety shows like you do

Unfortunately, didn't get to watch the ending of Bizaare Bunch, hehehe. Saw some episodes nung Pure Love, so siya pala ang "the other" Lee Minwoo :D Funny the senior cast parang na-ramble na Farewell of Tears. Familiar ako sa ibang leads kasi nasa nonstop 5 sila, sina Haesun and Jungrin.

Kindergarten Love is OK naman, getting better for me. Biased ako kasi I like KimJaewon. Clean cut na siya uli, mas bagay talaga sa kanya! But mukhang kambal na sila ni Nam Goong Min :D

in my case, siguro sa tagal ko na ring nanonood ng Korean dramas, may mga simple Korean words akong naiintindihan pero pag nanonood na ako ng any Korean drama na walang english subtitles...nawawala na ako...in reading Korean text or Hangul, gumagamit ako ng website translator na kahit masakit din sa ulo basahin yung translation, medyo nakukuha ko naman somehow pero I can read some words in Hangul pero hindi ko alam yung meaning hehe

Yup, yung Pure 19, ni-recycle nga cast ng Farewell to Tears tapos parang trying in the mold of Bizaare Bunch pero yung mga naaabutan ko na episodes oks naman.
Si KJH nga of UN and GOONG. Anong oras ba ang replay ng Drama City pag Sunday? Magaling din yung girl na na ka-partner nya dun sa episode na yun.


May nanunuod ba sa inyo ng Mr.Goodbye? Considering na I didn't have much expectation in this drama, ito na ang sinusundan ko ngayon. After watching episode 1, na-intrigue ako kasi first time ko makapanuod ng isang korean series na may same-sex marriage. Ang cute ni Ronnie,yung brother ni AJW dito. galing niya umarte. Then natuwa na ako kaya til episode 4 (ti-nape ko para mapanuod ko na) napanuod ko na! Nasilip ko na nga din pati spoilers and the story will get more interesting.
Ang galing ni AJW, LBY. Grabe, parang super sikat naman ni LBY ngayon. Di ba siya partner ni Jo Insung duon sa movie na kapapalabas lang then I read na siya naman ang partner ni Joo Jin Mo sa next soap ng MBC. Lucky girl :D
Magaan dating sa akin ni LBY. Nung mapanuod nga siya dito sa house sa My Sweetheart My darling before, Rhea Santos na tawag nila kasi kamukha daw. Pero ngayon, I think she's a cross between LJ Reyes and Rhea (I hope walang magagalit, :D)

부모님 전상서 (My Precious Family) worked marvelously because of the acting, and of course Kim Soo-Hyun's great writing, but I wouldn't say production was much of an asset (not that Weekend Dramas focus on that anyway. Production is almost always very simple). And despite being one of the many PDs who worked on 학교 (School), what sticks out is last year's horrible 웨딩 (Wedding). Let's be honest, Yoon Seok-Ho can't tell a story to save his life, but at least he makes his Dramas pretty decent eye candy until the horrible writing and predictable pacing butts in. But Oh Su-Yeon's usual mess wasn't the only thing to blame (along with putrid acting from Jang Na-Ra and Ryu Shi-Won). Production was also incredibly inconsistent, with gaps in continuity that looked quite surprising for an experienced professional like him. And coupled with the story, things don't sound too exciting, to be honest.

Another writer going back and forth between Chungmuro and the TV World of Yeouido. Problem is her works aren't too good on either side of the fence, so it doesn't make much of a difference. She worked with Kim Dae-Woo in her early years, collaborating with him on 투캅스 3 (Two Cops 3) and 깡패수업 (Hoodlum Lessons) -- she also wrote the script for 돈을 갖고 튀어라 (Millions in My Account) and 행복한 장의사 (The Happy Funeral Director). That was the good part, but from 2000 on she pretty much did nothing right, from 줄리엣의 남자 (Juliet's Man) to 첫사랑 사수 궐기대회 (Crazy First Love) and last year's horrible 건빵 선생과 별사탕 (Hardtack Teacher and Star Candy). Get ready for the worst.
CAST: HOT
Yoo Oh-Sung, Chae Si-Ra, Choi Yeo-Jin, Han Yeo-Woon, Jo Yeon-Woo
And here's what could save the show. Yoo Oh-Seong has had a difficult career after 친구 (Friend) as he always seems to pick the wrong projects, but he and Chae Si-Ra are very good actors, so if melodrama antics are kept in check things could be watchable. Choi Yeo-Jin and Jo Yeon-Woo have improved a lot in the last year, so with a few good veterans it should be quite a good cast.
OUTLINE: WARM
Another 시한부 인생 (Time-Limited Life) Drama a la 장밋빛 인생 (Life in Pink). Only difference is the Super-Hit from last year had actually a good -- if a little too predictable -- writer in Moon Young-Nam. So another Human Drama, as Detective Choi Jang-Soo learns he has very little to live, and spends his last days trying to make his life worthwhile. There's been fantastic Dramas with outlines like this, like 네 멋대로 해라 (Ruler of Your Own World), but the key is how you treat those 'last few moments'. Life in Pink was as over the top with melodrama as you get, but it compensated with great dialogue and characters, and some of the best acting seen last year. I can expect good acting from Yoo and Chae, but as for writing and production... hmmm.
WEATHER: Quite chilly. Could get ice cold in the second half, especially if the ratings go up. Keep your expectations very low.

Duh! Kainis as if may K sila to say that on our English, grrrr!

Happy Sunday was moved to 5pm instead of 6 about a month ago. But weird, last sunday it started at around 530 (obvious na addict, hehehe).
It's just a week late and so this sunday na yung episode ng SHINHWA! :D

Actor Hyun Bin has been casted to be the leading actor of the KBS 2TV drama series 'Noon Eui Yeo Wang (Queen of Snow)' which is scheduled to air this coming November.

'Noon Eui Yeo Wang (Queen of Snow)' is a sad fairy-tale like love story about a genius boxer fighting against a terminal disease and a daughter of a wealthy family that meet and fill each other's hearts. Hyun Bin has been casted for the role of the lead male character Han Tae Woong.

Tae Woong used to be labeled a boxing genius, but is now a high school drop-out that works as a sparring partner at a third-class boxing gym. Lackluster and without a dream, he one day meets a woman and feels destined love.

The drama has also gathered attention due to the participation of writers Kim Eun Hee and Yoon Eun Gyeong who were part of the team of 'Winter Sonata' as well as the producer and director Lee Hyeong Min of 'I'm Sorry, I Love You.'

Lee Hyeong Min commented as the reason for casting, "I thought Hyun Bin would be the perfect fit for the role of the 'unsfortunate genius' Han Tae Woong who, while possessing pureness, must also be able to express childish rebelliousness. Ryu Soo Young will be acting in KBS drama "Sting" in mid-september after Vineyard man ends.

The drama is based off of a bestseller Japanese book written by Watanabe Junichi.

It's about a a guy named 'TaeWan' (RSY) who couldn't become a doctor because of poverty. The drama will show the process of TaeWan pretending to be a doctor and how he tries to accomplish his dream of being a doctor.

yan nga rin ang gusto kong malaman kasi in the Skycable Premium package merong MBC pack where you get to watch MBC, KBS' competitor pero I think walang english subs yung MBC sa Sky kasi alam ko KBS pa lang talaga ang nagbranch-out, gusto ko rin sana sa MBC kasi may pinapanood ako ngayon sa kanila pero I'll still stick to KBS World because of the english subs pero sana hindi siya premium sa Sky

dabin ~ napanuod ko na kasi yung ending ng Mr. goodbye and I must say one of the best sad endings, (aside from MISA) if there's ever such a thing. Mas iniyakan ko though yung episode 14, nung nalaman ni Bookja na may sakit si Hyunseon. My gosh, naiyak ako suon sa scene na they were lying in bed and umiiyak siya habang discover niya yung stitches ni Hyunseo. Ang galing nilang dalawa!

OT: natawa nga ako kasi sa ILNY, si Marvin eh may sakit din sa puso tapos ayaw niya ding sabihin kay Jolina, hehehe sounds familiar :D

hi. naligaw ako dito kasi i discovered that Arirang TV was no longer on Ch. 75 when I turned on our TV this morning. KBS World na pala siya. :(

I checked the link to the KBS website here to download a schedule pero June 2006 pa yung sked na nandun. Does anyone have any idea kung saan makakakuha ng updated sked?

Also, can you recommend any good shows to watch out for sa KBS? Salamat!

3 days nang nagkakaroon ng intermittent audio signal loss ang kbs world ah, (on destiny) ganoon din ba ang nagyayari sa skycable? ngayon ko lang naexperience kasi yung kahit sobrang ganda ng signal ng kbs sa video, yung audio naman yung wala, hindi kaya sabotage to ng skycable? hihihi.. *sorry for speaking ill to skycable*

At least ok naman KBS. Ung ibang shows nga lang walang subs. May napanood ako Sun night. It's a comedy show na may guest celebrities. Si MC Mong andun and ung guy sa Mr. Wacky (ung iba di ko na kilala). Nakakatawa rin ung show kahit di ko maintindihan. :D

Re: Pure in Heart ~ Di talaga brother ni Gukhwa si Ugyeong. She came from China, supposedly fiancee ng uncle ni Ugyeong (old na din) ang kaso pagdating niya sa Seoul, namatay yung uncle sa accident. Eh orphan na siya and she married din talaga for financial reasons (yung mga blid date/arranged type of weeding). So she wanted to work in Seoul so the family took her in. Ang kaso, na-in love sa kanya si Ugyeong, ayaw ng mom kasi nga technically aunt na siya nito. So nagkakagulo sa house, She decided to move out na lang.
Si Yunhu, dati kaaway niya kasi mayabang. May fiancee siya si Shinyeong pero di niya talaga gusto pero friend niya and gusto ng parents niya. Dati, secretary si Gukhwa ni Yunhu kaso may kapalpakan siya kaya she was fired and buti na lang nakuha ulit to work as janitress, I think thru the help again of Shinyeong yung gf ni Yunhu.Kaya lang nayon, na-in love na sa kanya si Yunhu.
Akala ko din dati mas bida si Ugyeong pero mukhang they're going to pair him with Yunjeong, yung bratty sister ni Yunhu. Napansin mo ba, siya yung princess sa Goong, tapos yung elder sister nila dito yung queen? Hehehe, can't get over her transformation, sobrang pasaway kasi siya dito.

I'm glad KBS World is on in SKY, mas marami akong napapanood na Korean Dramas. I just started watching Vineyard Man last Tuesday, it's on EP. 4 na. Sayang di ko naumpisahan. It's a cute romantic comedy napadaan na ako sa thread nila sa soompi and the progress of the story's good. They'll be showing the last 2 episodes next week in Korea. Kakatapos ko lang panoorin yung Goong, so when I saw YEH in this drama I started watching it - buti na lang. Nakakatawa yung mga scenes niya last Tues. (especially when she was doing her business in the field and she sat on it-haha!) Sayang Mon./Tues. lang ang palabas niya, can't wait for next week. Mas marami pa daw nakakatawa na scenes in the coming episodes. The leading man isn't drop dead gorgeous (some say he looks a lot like Eric) pero as the drama progesses you'll get to like him. He's a good theater actor - he gets to sing in some of the episodes and he has a good voice. Sabi pa nga daw he has a funny accent - but I can't distinguish it.

yup. Yang Mi-kyung's Love in Asia airs every Saturdays at 1 pm with English Subs, as for her other program, I'm not sure of its schedule. Seven Princesses is on every Saturdays and Sundays at 7 pm and Sundays and Mondays at 2:30 am

Walang bang replay Yunyega sa gabi? Napapanood ko din Chill Princesses every weekend. I'm glad nakuha na ng GMA ito. Isa sa mga bida dyan is yung bidang babae sa Yellow Handkerchief.

I hope GMA also gets The Vineyard Man. It just finished airing in Korea. Cute yung story and nakakakilig. There also many hilarious scenes, matutuwa talaga kayo sa mga bida. The leads are Yoon Eun Hye and Oh Man Seuk. Many of the viewers thought the ending was great, hindi ka mabibitin.

I want to watch yung Cloud Stairway because of Shin Dong Wook :D Gusto ko kasi siya from Farewell to Tears.

I read in Soompi, si Sung Yuri pala ang leading lady ni Hyun Bin duon sa bago niyang KBS drama. Kaya lang I hope it's not a sad ending.....

9/18/06 – On 9/18, the production company “Yoon’s Color (윤스칼라)” announces that Sung Yoo Ri (25) and Hyun Bin (24) will lead the drama “Queen of Snow (눈의 여왕)” scheduled to be aired by KBS2 around Christmas. This drama attracts attention because the PD is Lee Hyung Min (이형민) who produced and directed the popular drama “I’m Sorry: I Love You” and the script writers are the duo Kim Eun Hee and Yoon Eun Kyung (김은희, 윤은경) who wrote for “Winter Love Song”.

SYR plays the role Bo Ra (보라) who behaves arrogantly and cynically like an icy princess. She falls in love with her destined love Tae Woong (태웅, played by Hyun Bin) who lives in a third-class boxing gymnasium. The filming team just returned to Korea after the initial shooting in New Zealand. The PD Lee Hyung Min states, “Currently, the scenery in New Zealand is beautiful. I am amazed by Hyun Bin’s performance in his transformed role. I anticipate seeing what image SYR would present to TV viewers in this drama. I believe that it would be an unquestionably big surprise.” SYR’s previous drama was “One Fine Day” while HB’s was “My Name is Kim Sam Soon”.

summer...yup si Choi Soo-jung ng Over the Green Fields ang bida....sadly wala siyang suba pag pinalabas sa KBS World kasi historical dramas from KBS 1 in Korea pag pinapalabas na nila napapansin ko walang subs lagi, engrosses pa naman ako ngayon sa mga historical dramas nila kaya wla rin pala akong choice
