Beyond Our Ken Synopsis:
After being dumped by her boyfriend KEN (Daniel Wu) a month ago, CHAN (Gillian Chung) found out that Ken has posed her nude picture on the internet, causing Chan losing her job. To take revenge, Chan decides to line up with ZHOU (Tao Hung), Ken's existing girlfriend, to steal back their nude photos from Ken's home. Friendship starts to grow between these two namely "rivals" during the search. However, what they do not know is two girls for one man is always too crowded and the two are destined to be rivals for the rest of their lives

i saw a dvd of Beyond Our Ken already but i didn't buy, takot na ako baka kasi di maganda... daniel is known to take projects kasi kahit not so good...

Hello everybody!

Yes, long time no write. It has been an extremely busy and exciting past few months for me. I have been working very hard but have also managed to get some time to relax as well. I was able to take a break and go to Japan and do one of my favorite sports, snowboarding! I have snowboarded since I was sixteen years old and have tried to go at least once a year, even while living in Hong Kong. Unfortunately, I was not able to go last
year because of my knee injury but this time my knee was fine. A little sore, but no pain and I had lots of fun.

I want to say thank you to everyone wishing me well for the Hong Kong Film Awards and also thanks to everyone who offered me support even though I did not win this time. I am OK and I am not upset. Of course it would have been nice to win but I am just happy that I was nominated with so many other great actors. Life is a struggle and things do not always go your way but that is what I enjoy about life. The most important thing is to never give up. You must fight for what you want! When I was young I used my all my blood, sweat and tears while practicing Kung Fu. I would repeat things over and over and over until I got it right. It was so hard and difficult but I would not let myself give up because I knew if I worked hard and put my heart into it I would succeed. When I studied architecture it was the same, I put so much time and effort into my projects. Sometimes I would not sleep for two or three days but I was putting my heart and soul into it and that was what kept me going. All that struggling enriched my life and made me what I am today. It's not important to be "number 1" or "the best" for others but it is very important to be the best for yourself. I know I did the best for myself. You should all remember that when I first came to Hong Kong, I did not know how to speak Cantonese, I did not know how to act, I did not know anybody in the movie business, I was alone here. It has been a long and difficult struggle but I have enjoyed every minute of it! I have learned the language, I have
made many good friends, I have learned to act and don't forget… I won the Golden Horse! Yes, maybe I will have a chance to win next time. I still have many years of opportunities ahead of me so I am not worried because I know in my heart to keep on fighting.

OK, I must get some sleep. I am leaving tomorrow for Shanghai to finish shooting "Chang Hen Ge". I am excited to back to work on this project because I think this film will be really special. Stanly Kwan is one of the great Hong Kong directors of this era.

just watched Divergence this week... Daniel Wu with Aaron Kwok and Ekin Cheng... he played the killer, a really good one! :) rugged looking siya pero super handsome, very manly! :D

the writer did a good job naman in giving the 3 big stars exposures... i just love hk films kahit na i know that they are not on top now, i hope to see more great hk films pa rin... :)

HK's 'F4' for free

HONG KONG - They are cute and their music is free of charge.

Touting themselves as Hong Kong's answer to F4, actors Daniel Wu, Andrew Lin, Terence Yin and Conroy Chan have formed a band known as Alive.

And instead of releasing records, they have offered their songs for free downloads on their website, alivenotdead.com

Wu said at a press conference on Tuesday that though they spent more than HK$1 million (S$210,200) to record songs and make music videos, 'we're in it for interest, not money'.

He added that they would turn to advertisers and sponsors for monetary support.

Ngayon iniisip ko, sayang tlga!! Buti nalng malapit lng sa work namin, kaso di pa kami ulit bumalik to look around...

Director Feng Xiaogang, famous for making the most popular new year films in China, such as Big Shot's Funeral, has just started filming Banquet, with a budget of over US$ 20 million, a joint-venture between Media Asia and Huayi Brothers. Touted as a Chinese version of Hamlet, the film stars the two hottest actresses in Mainland China: Zhang Ziyi and Zhou Xun, as well as Best Actor award winner Ge You and the ever-present Daniel Wu.
Collaborating with Feng for the first time, Zhang Ziyi will play an ancient beauty in the Tang Dynasty. I just watched Divergence a couple of weeks ago, it was a great movie!

And yesterday, while on a bus on my way home, a movie of his was being shown. I didn't get the title, kse halos kalagitnaan na nun nanood ako. But he played the role of a detective investigating the whereabouts of a woman's daughter (I think she was kidnapped when she was a little girl). By that time, this daughter had already become an assassin.

Maybe some of you know the title? Ang gwap niya sa movie na yan!!! ;)

Re: Naked Weapon, talaga pinalabas sa bus? Kung di lang nandyan si Daniel di ko siguro matatapos yun. Kainis nun, 2002 ata ginawa yan eh obvious naman na Intramuros yung parang scenes nila na supposedly nasa Spain ata.

I know he's not as young as most popular actors now but he is as hot as hell! Plus he is one of the most in-demand actors in Hong Kong! He makes 3 to 7 movies a year and he appeared in various commercials and music videos. Award winning actor din sya and he was voted as the Sexiest man in Hong Kong last 2004! O di ba! Actually lately nya lang ako naging fan! Dati ko pa sya napapanood pero I was smitten by him when I watched New Police Story. He was amazing as Jo Kwan (The extremely sexy and deranged leader of a group of rebels in Hongkong) Dun ko nakita na he's not just a pretty face but a brilliant actor as well. And he also won Best Supporting actor because of that role. Kaya nung pinanood ko ulit ung ibang movies nya iba na tingin ko sa kaniya!

Grabe nag-iisa lang ba ako dito? Sis ko din big fan nya pero mas type nya si Edison Chen. Okay lang hawig naman sila ni Daniel. They even played the roles of brothers in Princess D.

Hi! Thanks kay summer for pointing me to the right direction! Grabe hindi pala ako nag-iisa d2! Sobrang obsessed kami ng sis ko kay Daniel Wu. Pero recently lang kami naging avid fansa nya. Nag-start un nung napanood namin sya sa New Police Story. Nabanggit ko un dun sa isang thread. Sobrang galing nya kasi dun at pinaka-astig na antagonist na nakita ko. Like I said before he won a Best Supporting Actor Award because of that role. Sa mga fans nya grabe panoorin nyo un! Sobrang nag-iba ung tingin namin kay Daniel dahil sa movie na un, pinanood tuloy namin lahat ng movies nya na available at maski ung napanood ko na dati pinanood ko ulit.

Ay san nga pala makakahanap ng Daniel Wu movies? Gusto ko ring panoorin ung ibang nasa Filmography nya e. Especially ung Princess D (Kasi kasama nya dun si Edison Chen) at ung Bishonen (Kakaintriga kasi gay silang tatlo ni Stephen Fung at Terrence Yin dun). Please kung may alam kayong mabibilhan ng DVD ng mga movies ni Daniel o kaya mga site na pwedeng pag-downloadan post nyo naman d2! Thanks!

I'm not quite sure where this term originated and I really don't understand why you would tell someone that before going out to do a show. Does anyone know the history?

OK here is some serious news that I have been holding back on until everything was under control. Remember my blog entry on June 22nd about my skateboard crash? I should have taken that as a sign and stopped right there but it really was so relaxing and fun pushing through the streets. Well on Tuesday June 12th I was skateboarding to school early in the morning. My trucks were a bit loose and I had been meaning to fix them for a long time but I didn’t have the proper tool. On a perfectly straight and flat bit of road I got a speed wobble while pushing and lost balance. I put my right foot down to catch myself but my left foot was still on the board and unfortunately it twisted outwards as I fell. Usually when one rolls their ankle, they roll it inwards and this in called inversion. Not much happens, you get a sprain or tear some ligaments. Eversion is when the ankle rolls outwards and this is what I did. When you evert your ankle you not only tear ligaments but it puts an extreme amount of pressure on the fibula (the small bone next to the Tibia) and it breaks. So to make a long story short…I broke my ankle. I knew it the second it happened because like when I injured my knee several years ago, I actually saw it flip outwards. Very nasty.
