Last week, boy band F4's Ken Chu made headlines when a woman accused
him of threatening to beat her up. Not that he seems to care... Meet
the Asian Brat Pack - young stars who are successful and brash

IT IS all about star attitude these days.

While old-school celebrities like Andy Lau and Chow Yun Fat carved
their showbiz careers out of being savvy PR machines and immaculate
role models, the new school of pop idols are embracing attitude with
a capital A.

Why pander to anyone when you can just be yourself?

Why suffer in silence when you can easily retaliate - either verbally
or physically?

No wonder then that an Asian Brat Pack has emerged.

Its notorious members: Nicholas Tse, Edison Chen, Shawn Yue, Ken Chu
and Dylan Kuo.

They are young, cute and rich enough to make girls go ga-ga. But they
also have enough bratty attitude to make girls flinch.

Gorgeous, no doubt, but these outspoken bad boys will not hesitate to
hurl insults or berate fans in public.

Some, like Nicholas, will even bash up the paparazzi in a fit of
anger - only to face the music later.

Who cares about image any more?

Unlike their picture-perfect predecessors, these young ones revel in
being brash, impetuous and volatile.

They make headlines for all the wrong reasons - like Nicholas, who
apparently slammed a Chinese New Year song put out by his juniors
last week; Ken, for giving the cold shoulder to a middle-aged woman
who later accused him of threatening to beat her up; and Dylan, for
allegedly hitting a woman's scooter and speeding away in his car.

For them, it is always act first, think later, observed Lianhe Zaobao
entertainment correspondent Ang Meng Hwa.

'Today's stars are not as smooth and savvy as the older generation,'
noted the veteran journalist of 14 years.

'Much like today's youths, they are more direct and self-centred and,
for them, it's attitude and freedom of _expression that counts.

'If they are angry or frustrated, they will show it, even if they are
in the wrong.

'The older generation, however, will keep it bottled up. They may
come across as superficial, but at least they are more courteous and
considerate.'

Old conservatives may scoff, but the new generation of fans like
their bratty idols just the way they are, thank you very much.

BLIND SUPPORT?

It seems like the days of pop idols being role models for the young
have gone with the wind.

Today's youths have such resolute faith in their idols that you
wonder if their support is blind.

'We accept them as what they are. They're only human, not saints,'
said F4 fan Nicole Poi, 23.

'Some of my friends have been ignored by Ken when they call out to
him, but they're not surprised because that's the way he is.'

Added Ken supporter, Miss Diana Chng, 23: 'Ken has a thing about
privacy. If you disturb him during his private time, he'll give you a
black face or may even scold you.

'If his friends or family are around, he may even lose his temper.

'We have learnt to respect his privacy, and we'll remind each other
to behave and not get too carried away around him.'

But Miss Chng draws a line at physical violence.

'If Ken was to hit someone, I'd be disappointed. But so far, he has
not gone overboard.'

Even if an idol errs, a public apology will do wonders to salvage his
rep*t*tion.

5566's Jason Hsu, for instance, won sympathy votes from fans when he
broke down on TV while apologising for bashing up a reporter two
months ago.

Zaobao's Mr Ang said: 'In the old days, arguing was deemed petty. You
have to be polite.

'But now, as long as you don't kill someoneor start a fire, just
come out and apologise, and your fans will forgive you.

'Just don't let it become a habit or your career will suffer.'

hello hello sa inyong lahat! :) new lang po ako sa thread... hehe :p pro matagal ko na napapanood c Shawn.... nagustuhan ko sya sa isang drama show nya... TOMORROW yata yung title nun... ang gwafu nya doon! :D

pa-share lang po ng article na nabasa ko from Teenage Magazine (Singapore Mag).. its an interview....

Q: Why have you put off recording your Mandarin album till now?

Shawn: I spent a terribly long time preparing for it. In the past, I never had enough time to do another Mandarin album. So rather than do a slipshod job, I'd rather hold back until further notice. I won't release an album just for the sake of doing it.

Q: You've gone from being a model to a singer and an actor. Was it tough getting used to the limelight?

Shawn: It is okay for me now. When I first started out, I definitely wasn't used to the demands of showbiz. Many times, I did wonder whether or not I was in the right line. But now, since I've decided to make entertainment my career, I've put my heart and soul into it. I no longer worry about what the critics think of me because I can't do anything about it. In every movie, I just have to outdo myself, through real actions, to convince them.

Q: After Infernal Affairs II, many have likened you to a young Tony Leung. Share your thoughts.

Shawn: I'm flattered! I think I'm just okay... Most importantly, my success was only possible because of the people around me. They are the real heroes in the background who have given me the much needed training and support. Without them, I would never have improved so much.

Q: How about your onscreen characters? How do you like them?

Shawn: The screen characters are so carefree! They have freedom to do whatever they like. They hardly ever get distracted and nobody comes to disturb their peace. That's so different from my real life! There are many restrictions for me to deal with. For example, I can't concentrate on acting alone. I'm not saying that I don't like my job, but that's just the way are.

Q: The moustache that your character Takashi Nakazato sports - is it real or a stick-on?

Shawn: Hey! The moustache is real! (Laughs) The director wanted to see something different in me, to create a new visual effect. Besides, I don't want all my movie appearances to look alike. That would be so boring.

Q: Initial D must have fired up your passion for cars even more!

Shawn: I have always loved cars! I always make it a point to study the different makes and models. When I flip magazines, I'd go, "Wow that's great! That's wonderful!". However, I'm content to just admire them; I don't have to own each and every model! That'd be too expensive a hobby for me! Also, just for the record, I'm not as obsessed as to give my own a set of wheels a pet name!

LINDA CHUNG IN NEW MOVIE WITH SHAWN YUE
Thursday July 5, 2007 Hong Kong

Linda Chung Ka Yan is currently filming a movie with Shawn Yue Man Lok and Chan Kwan. The movie is directed by Ma Chor Sing.

Yesterday, Linda filmed a scene with Shawn until the early AM hours in Central district. In the scene, Shawn wanted to impress Linda by driving her in his Beetle car full of fresh flowers. However Linda was unfazed and started arguing with Shawn on the street instead. Chan Kwan acted as the middle man for the couple.

When Linda accepted reporters' interviews in the morning, her voice was hoarse. "I was already sick. After filming the crying scene from last night, I truly lost my voice!"

"However it was worth it because Shawn, Chan Kwan, and Director Ma were very kind to me, teaching me many useful things!"

DAREDEVIL SHAWN

THE explosive scenes in The Invisible Target are massive enough to scare the wits out of a daredevil like Shawn Yue.

“They (the explosions) did give me some stress,” the Hong Kong actor admits. “You just don’t know when things are going to explode on the set.”

Just like his co-stars Nicholas Tse and Jaycee Chan, Yue had to do his own stunts for the movie. “It’s better that way. The actions will look more real.”

Has he ever been afraid of getting injured?

“Every actor in an action film will injure himself,” says the experienced actor, citing that he is lucky to have just sustained cuts and bruises on the set of The Invisible Target. “That’s part and parcel of the job.”

But given the choice, the soft-spoken Yue says he would rather do a drama than an action flick.

“I somehow got swept into it. But then again, I’m not that kind of an actor who picks and chooses his roles.”

“Besides, Hong Kong is well known for its intense action flicks. It’s a good enough reason for me to jump on the bandwagon.”

POLICE LOVE STORY SHOT IN HONG KONG

A new police love story, "Hua Hua Xing Jing 《花花型警》 " featuring Hong Kong heartthrob Shawn Yue and Chinese mainland actor Aloys Chen Kun, has started shooting in Hong Kong.

The action comedy is about two playboys-turned-policemen, from Hong Kong and the Chinese mainland, who compete for the love of a girl, who is played by Hong Kong actress Linda Chung.

It's the first time for Aloys Chen to shoot a film in Hong Kong. He is also the first mainland actor to take the leading role in a Hong Kong film.

The 31-year-old Aloys has recently recovered from throat surgery, and said the shooting will be "quite a challenge".

余文樂出席電影<男兒本色>祝捷會, 因為開畫四天過二千萬票房, 樂仔表示, 在戲中他要打到飛起, 雖然辛苦不過現在有這個成績, 他覺得一切也是值得的, 他又說, 媽咪亦有捧場看戲, 不過她看完覺得十分心痛, 因為他經常被人打, 又見到他受傷, 媽咪忍不住問他為何接拍這些片, 其實他還有很選擇, 但他回答媽咪是他要供樓 又要供車, 還要供妹妹讀書, 所以他要繼續拍下去。

POLICE LOVE STORY WRAPS UP IN HONG KONG

A new police love story, "Hua Hua Xing Jing," featuring Chinese mainland actor Aloys Chen Kun and Hong Kong heart-throb Shawn Yue wrapped up on Tuesday in Hong Kong, Yangcheng Evening News reports.

The action comedy, directed by Ma Chucheng, is about two playboys-turned-policemen, one from Hong Kong and one from the Chinese mainland, who compete for the love of a girl, played by Hong Kong actress Linda Chung.

It's the first time for 31-year-old Aloys Chen to shoot a film in Hong Kong. He is also the first mainland actor to take a lead role in a Hong Kong film.

According to Yangcheng Evening news, Aloys Chen went through hard times during the one-and-a-half-month of shooting.

Ma Chucheng chose Alloys Chen in mid-April because he considered the way Chen concealed his pride under his calm appearance suitable for the role. But Chen was not very confident, as he had never taken roles in action movies before.

"I wanted to try something new," said Aloys Chen, who was confused about his future when his last movie called "The Door", was not successful and many people expected bigger breakthrough from him.

During the shooting, he had to learn Cantonese. "I felt very sorry every time when we had to shoot again because of my fault," said Aloys Chen, who would recite even his partners' lines in the past. But it did not work this time, as the director was prone to changing lines and adding new plots on the spot.

Aloys Chen also felt bad about hurting his Kungfu trainer's head on porcelain accidentally, hurting him badly.

Chen was a bit afraid at that time, confirmed Shawn Yue, who said that Chen's performance was not bad.

As for Yue, the report says he was very afraid of some of the weapons used in the movie, like electronic saws and glass bottles. As a productive actor with 30 movies in last five years, Yue said he never wanted to compete with other actors, like Chen Edison, popular Hong Kong star.

Asian stars are drawn to the "Rain"

HONG KONG—Thriller “I Come With the Rain” has a cast that packs a major punch across Asia.

In addition to Josh Hartnett, who stars as a private investigator in Tran Anh Hung’s English-lingo psychothriller, pic also has Japanese megastar Takuya Kimura [“2046”], Korean superstar Lee Byung-hun [“A Bittersweet Life”] and local star Shawn Yue Man-lok [“Infernal Affairs”] on its roster.

The US$18 million high-definition pic is about a private detective who, haunted by a past encounter with a serial killer, heads to Asia in search of a missing heir who has the power to heal with his touch.

Pic started shooting in Hong Kong two weeks ago and should be done by the first week of October, said Chu Chen On, producer at October Pictures who is handling the Hong Kong portion of the film’s shoot. Cast will spend most of that time on location, but also do two to three weeks of interior work at the Shaw Studios.

About 80 percent of the pic will be shot in Hong Kong. Thus far, pic has been battling summer rainstorms and typhoons while shooting here. “The weather has been unpredictable…it’s been hard to plan,” Chu said, but added that the cast has been in good spirits.

Cast was previously shooting in the Philippines for a week and will return to LA after their Hong Kong stint to wrap up filming, which is expected to be in November with a summer 2008 preem.

Pic is fully financed through French paybox Canal Plus, the British fund Aramid and several French Sofica funds. It’s produced by Fernando Sulichin’s Paris-based Central Films and Jean Cazes with John Kilik executive producing.

International sales are being handled by TF1 Intl.

Kimura appeared in Wong Kar-wai's mood romance "2046," but "I Come with the Rain" will be his first English-language pic. He also starred in Yoji Yamada's period drama "Love and Honor," a major hit for Shochiku in 2006.

現實中的余文樂為人處世都很低調誠懇。 他喜歡安靜, 也很喜歡建筑設計, 曾經坦言很希望能在巴黎蓋個房子。 除此之外, 法國還有很多余文樂喜歡的設計師和家具。 每每提起那些中古時候留下的名設計師作品, 他總是一副很陶醉的樣子。 在曾經生活拮據的時候, 他每日奔波於學校和各個攝影棚之間, 賺錢貼補家用。高中時, 余文樂已被星探看中簽約當了模特, 之後他更是毫不猶豫地向著演藝圈進軍。 “我想盡快讓自己獨立, 讓家人過得更好一點, 在經濟方面幫到家人, 這是我當初腦子裡整天盤算的事情。”

人們會質疑, 這樣的兩個人會有共通點嗎? 其實這隻是一種期許, 不服輸的個性也讓余文樂用實際行動証明著自己的“實力”, 在沉默中向自己的“明燈”飛奔, 因為他心中有數, 就像他身為處女座所擁有力求完美的特質一樣, 他不屑外表賦予他的優質偶像型, 而始終致力於成就演技派的追求。


事業: 不做偶像 只做演技派

型男對他來說是個一概的評價。 帥氣的外型和清秀的氣質是與身俱來的明星范兒, 和大多數明星的入行一樣, 余文樂也是在與朋友逛街時被模特兒公司星探發掘, 開始模特兒工作, 對於當時的他來說無疑是個驚喜, 隨後開始了自己的演藝事業。 隨後憑借自己俊俏的外表成功晉升為偶像派演員, 出演台灣偶像劇 《愛情白皮書》 而備受大眾所矚目。

當人們再去看 《男兒本色》 裡, 余文樂再次出演的警察時, 他不是 《無間道》 中是飾演梁朝偉的青年時候的青澀男孩, 你可以明顯地感覺到他的變化, 余文樂在刻畫人物的同時以在動作戲上打斗的變化令人印象深刻, 他在影片中的動作難度以及身體要求上明顯更進了一步, 在動作表演方面上也有著不小的變化。 而余文樂的成績也被看在眼裡, 記在心裡。

也正是這樣的肯定讓他從眾多同樣有著外表和演技的人群中脫穎而出。 與內地當紅小生陳坤“再戰” 《花花刑警》, 並一舉加盟陳英雄的 《伴雨行》 頂替了吳彥祖早前的角色。


戀情婚姻: 事業有成後的目標

推陳出新, 也許這是對於余文樂感情生活的一種現象。 出道至今, 不斷和合作的女星傳出緋聞, 雖然事實與否還未來得及証實, 但緋聞的出現無疑讓他在娛樂圈中的地位繼續升溫, 對於這些女星們, 余文樂少有回應,無暇顧及的依然忙碌於自己能不能成為演技派? 對於他的感情生活也有模有樣地傳著, 但余文樂卻有著自己的想法, “如果我有想結婚的女友, 會公開, 我不是偶像, 我想做演技派, 喜歡我的人一定可以接受的。”

眼看著好友“鋒芝戀”終成正果, 他對於婚姻的向往卻在心裡自有杆秤, 說自己也非常向往婚姻, 但希望能夠自己在事業有成後再結婚。 而談到喜歡女孩的類型, 他說喜歡活潑開朗並且是圈外的女友。 因為他覺得工作很辛苦, 而在娛樂圈裡生存充滿著壓力, 不想自己心愛的人受傷, 信任非常重要。


未來: 自己主宰 自己規劃

如今的余文樂已經不是剛出道時青澀的陽光大男孩, 他的沉默不是內斂於羞澀, 因為他在頻繁地思考: 他會在沒有學院派演技的情況下, 憑直覺、靠模仿去演戲的, 一邊學一邊做﹔ 他會為了讓自己脫離偶像, 他會去紐約的一個羅伯特 • 德尼羅開辦的演技學校專門進修, 嘗試不同的角色狂拼演技﹔ 他會去規劃自己繁忙的時間, 寧願少賺點, 多休息、 多看世界﹔ 他會和黃秋生、吳鎮宇這樣的好戲之人聊演技, 為自己提出更高的要求。 但他知道 “好演員需要時間、 空間和機遇。” 他只是靠自己對自己的要求讓自己繼續在被定為是終身職業的道路上繼續前行。

余文樂心裡也一直有一個規劃: 20多歲的時候打基礎, 30歲左右事業成熟, 如果遇到好女孩就結婚, 組建家庭, 遇不到再等。 但是40歲則一定要結婚。

娛樂圈裡, 余文樂不屬於異類, 但被一並看好成為周潤發, 梁朝偉, 劉德華三位影帝的繼承者卻鮮少。 余文樂曾說表演是他的第一份工, 希望這也是最後一份工。 如此對演藝事業情有獨鐘的他會否眾望所歸成為下一個影帝呢? 只有主宰自己他給我們答案。

國際籃球巨星高比拜仁 (Kobe　Bryant) 響九月五日展開為期五日既亞洲之旅, 而且響今日[七日]達香港出席 Celebration　Party, 而余文樂亦有幸與呢個超級巨星進行表演賽. 樂仔話佢基本上每星期都會打籃球, 佢話平時工作已經好忙, 如果唔做運動, 點都對健康會有影響. 講到工作, 樂仔話宜家手頭上仲有二部電影, 有感自己今年忙不停, 所以佢計劃完成手頭上既工作後, 會去旅行休息.

【本報訊】[記者 李慶全] 驚慄片 《塚愛》 前晚舉行煞科宴, 演員余文樂、鄧麗欣、新人俞蓉融、導演彭發及老闆林小明均有出席, 席間彭發上台送禮物給演員, 鄧麗欣收到藥丸, 俞蓉融收到戒指, 阿樂則接到一大盒蟲, 阿樂即時作狀向鄧麗欣倒過去, 伊人被嚇得大叫後逃到台下。

余文樂指拍戲時也有接觸真蟲, 有場戲要他吻向已死去的女友俞蓉融, 屍蟲沿他口中爬進去, 他苦笑說, 當時感到好嘔心, 不過拍了 8、 9 Take已沒感覺,且他並沒咬下去, 一入口便吐出來, 也不知蟲蟲是甚麼味道, 他笑說: 「拍了幾次之後, 我跟蟲仔都成了朋友, 知道是在演戲。」


曾經腳踏兩船

戲中阿樂一腳踏兩船, 其中一位女友更是罹患絕症, 三角關係著實難以平衡。 他在入行前, 曾經試過與女友情海翻波, 都是為了一位給他感覺相處得很舒服的朋友, 最後他仍能清醒過來, 至於入行之後, 也沒再同時愛上兩個女人, 因為他根本沒時間去拍拖。

阿樂不停口讚鄧麗欣純品靚女, 更是少男們心目中的女神, 那鄧麗欣又是否他心目中的女神呢? 阿樂表示也喜歡純品的女孩子, 卻覺得對方並非他喜歡的類型, 最重要是一起的感覺。 阿樂透露最近在搜狐網開了 Blog , 試過在三小時內有五十萬人瀏覽。

一見血即暈低

鄧麗欣被阿樂用蟲蟲嚇到調頭走, 她不諱言好怕蟲類, 拍戲時阿樂已經常用蟲嚇她。 鄧麗欣戲中演一位癌症病人, 頭髮甩光, 由於帶頭套時間太長, 以致頸後敏感腫起來, 最後要看皮膚醫生。 她又指拍戲時經常受傷, 試過不慎一手拍爆玻璃血流如注, 她一見血即嚇至暈低, 要工作人員扶她入房休息。 獲阿樂讚賞是少男的女神, 卻非他所愛的類型, 鄧麗欣不敢認做女神, 她反過來取笑阿樂已是「中男」非少男, 所以不合她的口味。 兩人於戲中有親嘴戲, 但她卻投入不到。

Award-winning film-maker Kelvin Tong starts work on new horror film 'Rule #1'

SINGAPORE: Filming has started for Singaporean movie director Kelvin Tong's new US$2 million horror flick 'Rule # 1'.

The film, set in Hong Kong, is co-produced by Kelvin's Boku Film, MediaCorp Raintree Pictures, Fortune Star Entertainment, Scorpio East Pictures and Dream Movie Entertainment.

It stars Hong Kong actors Ekin Cheng and Shawn Yue.

Singaporean actress Fiona Xie plays a supporting role in the film.

In the show, Ekin and Shawn are cops in charge of dealing with hotline calls to the police about supernatural happenings.

Their job is to convince people of 'Rule # 1' , which is, that there are no ghosts.

Director Kelvin said that despite his record-breaking success in Singapore with his horror movie 'The Maid', he is under no pressure to replicate that achievement.

He said: "I actually wrote the film for Shawn and Ekin. I knew I wanted them from day one, but of course, the big question was whether they would want the film. But I was very pleasantly surprised because as soon as I finished it, I got it translated to Cantonese.....sent it to Shawn, sent it to Ekin. They got back within a week and suddenly, I had a cast. So I think they were very attracted to the script, and they saw potential in this very strange mix of cops and ghosts."

Ekin Cheng said: "I believe he saw my previous movies. I think he understands that I crave for new roles and directions. It's a great opportunity for me." - CNA/ir

Rule #1 scores two perfect leads

HE wrote the script four years ago with two actors in mind.

Singapore director Kelvin Tong then hoped Hong Kong actors Ekin Cheng and Shawn Yue would agree to be in his movie, his biggest production to date.

Kelvin, known for movies like The Maid (2005) and Men In White (2007), sent the script to both actors four months ago.

Within a week, both replied 'Yes' to him.

Kelvin told reporters in Hong Kong: 'I didn't expect to get the both of them.'

Why them?

He said: 'I looked at Shawn and he's totally believable as a cop that's out of control. I really liked that dangerous quality about him.'

For Ekin, Kelvin said he admired his heroic performances in movies like A Man Called Hero and The Young And Dangerous series.

He described his experience of working with both actors in the first two days of filming as 'excellent'.

He said: 'They're both instinctive actors who know the script inside out.'

Kelvin has mostly worked with Singapore actors such as Benjamin Heng in Eating Air and Shaun Chen in Men In White.

Rule #1's cast is a big jump for him.

Yet the 34-year-old former Straits Times film reviewer appeared unfazed.

He said the stars are just Detective Wong (Ekin) and Detective Lee (Shawn).

He said: 'When it comes down to the basics, they are the same creatures. They are romantic, idealistic, insecure and talented.'

Rule #1 will be shot entirely in Hong Kong - a first for a Singapore director.

Deep Water Bay, where reporters gathered for the movie's press conference, is the backdrop against which Ekin's character and Stephanie Che, who plays his ex-wife, meet at a beach pub.

Kelvin's last movie, Men in White, did dismally at the box office.

So is he under pressure to emulate the box-office success of Singapore director Royston Tan's 881?

If he is, he isn't letting on.

Kelvin said: 'I just stick to doing what I do. There's no theory that if I do this, I am set to get more at the box office.'

He celebrates the successes of filmmakers like Royston and Jack Neo because, 'when you have a success like that, people outside of Singapore take notice and financing comes in... it benefits the industry all around'.

香港電影節開幕 《男兒本色》 三型男現身掀熱潮

2007年 10月 23日, 日本, 第二十屆東京國際電影節 (20th Tokyo International Film Festival) 的一個重要活動 — 香港電影節, 在澀谷的文化村影城開幕。

《男兒本色》 3 位主演 - 謝霆鋒, 房祖名, 余文樂 - 一同出席了開幕式, 型男現身, 現場影迷反應熱烈。

余文樂於電影 《 軍 雞 》 演邊緣少年, 由於片中不乏打鬥戲份, 阿樂更花整整兩個月時間, 跟私人空手道及格鬥師傅上堂 。

該片於明年三月才上映, 但已入圍即將舉行的台灣金馬獎三項提名, 分別是 「 最 佳 攝 影 」 、 「 最 佳 動 作 設 計 」 及 「 最 佳 改 編 劇 本 」 , 阿樂更獲邀擔任 「 最 佳 動 作 設 計 」 頒獎嘉賓, 他笑言若屆時能把手上的獎項交給 《 軍 雞 》 片的動作指導, 定必錦上添花 !

HORROR IN THEATER


A half-romance, half-horror movie directed by Hong Kong-based filmmaker Danny Pang opened in theaters on the Chinese mainland on Tuesday, January 8, 2008.

"IN LOVE WITH THE DEAD," starring Shawn Yue and Stephy Tang, continues Pang's unique style in a chilling, yet thought-provoking, thriller.

In the film, a young female cancer patient (Stephy Tang) and her partner (Shawn Yue) experience supernatural occurrences after their love fails.

Director Danny Pang and his brother Oxide established the Pang Brothers, which produced the 2002 hit horror film "The Eye." The film has since inspired a Hollywood remake.

HARD WORK FOR A HEART-THROB


Hong Kong heart-throb Shawn Yue is rising to fame quickly with hard work and talent.

He started out as a model and in 2001 made his film debut in an independent film called "Leaving Sorrowfully." Yue then won acclaim after he took on a variety of roles in the "Internal Affairs" trilogy, "Initial D" and "Isabella."

Now Yue and mainland actor Chen Kun are in Shanghai to promote the latest Hong Kong police film "Playboy Cops" directed by Jingle Ma.

In this action-packed film, an extremely brutal armed robbery case brings two very unusual young detectives together.

Director Ma says Yue's acting is very good. And, as a bonus, not only is he tall and handsome, but his knowledge of martial arts helps."

"This is the fifth time I have played a cop," Yue said. "But this time the cop is very rich and likes to show off."

余文樂: 輪我當一哥


在陳冠希因慾照風波宣布退出幕前, 謝霆鋒因妻子張柏芝慾照曝光而大受衝擊, 吳彥祖則因興趣與個性問題還在選擇未來究竟該以幕前或幕後為發展方向之際, 原本聲勢不如他們的小生余文樂已快速竄出。

余文樂這兩年接拍的港片, 不但數量穩定且質佳, 他都能透過片中角色展現自己的演技實力, 這也讓越南大導演陳英雄決定啟用他在新片 「I Come With the Rain」 中挑大樑, 這部電影有可能入選今年坎城影展的正式競賽單元, 若真如此, 余文樂將是首位踏上坎城紅地毯的新生代小生。

除了全力發展亞洲市場外, 余文樂還試著往好萊塢闖, 雖然他的英文能力比不上從美、加回港的陳冠希、吳彥祖等人, 但他非常努力的學, 且在造型上完全沒有顧慮, 在好萊塢眼中可塑性極強。

也正因余文樂被認為在華人影壇與好萊塢都大有發展, 現傳日本艾迴正努力要簽下他的經紀約, 欲安排他前進東瀛。

港日合作電影 《軍雞》 上周六在日本開畫, 男主角余文樂昨日在涉谷及新宿等戲院連走三場宣傳。當日上午阿樂與合演的格鬥手魔裟斗及原作橋本以藏現身新宿造勢, 他自爆與魔裟斗演出一場打戲時, 被對方猛拳打到暈頭轉向倒在地上, 30分鐘不能動彈, 但導演不知情還大讚他演技好, 令他啼笑皆非, 此話引得哄堂大笑!
