ERIC and HYORI's 2005 CF- 'ERIC YOU'RE MY HERO!

"Hyori, can you dance like me?"
Topstar Eric (26) and Hyori (26), who are now labled as the 'Dancing Couple', have finally revealed the story of their new cellphone CF 2005.

Hyroi commented that her CF with Eric "will be almost identical to a music video." The producers of the ANYCALL phone CF also informed the media that the concept of the CF is to show Eric and Hyori's unforgettable dancing skills. The composer of the CF MUSIC VIDEO has been chosen as Park Geun Tae and the director will be Cha Eun Taek.

The story/music video will first start when Hyori tries out for a (dancing) audition. When it is Hyori's turn to dance, she does not do well and is on the verge of dropping out from the audition. In order to help out Hyori, Eric hints out different dance moves to her through his camera phone. This scene is when Eric shows his own dancing skills to the viewers. Thanks to Eric, Hyori is able to make the audition successfully.

The new ANYCALL CF featuring Eric and Hyori is already stirring a lot of interest among the viewers and netizens. With the producers promising wonderful and breathtaking dance performances by Eric and Hyori, everyone believes that these two topstars will make the "perfect dancing couple".

Bi and Eric, singers who're willing to take a challenge at acting!

In spring, Bi is getting ready to flim his new MBC drama, 'Cruel Love' with an undecided actress.

Up till now, Bi has been acting in KBS's 'Sangdoo yah! Let's go to School!' as a father who earns his money by seducing older women and in KBS's 'Fullhouse' as an arrogant actor named Young Jae. So far, he has played a funny, heart warming role in all of his dramas. However in his new drama, Bi is planning to go down a new road by playing a serious, cold character.

In 'Cruel Love', Bi plays a serious man who meets a woman that looks exatly like his dead mother. As he falls into a 'cruel' and difficult love, Bi is planning to show his cold side to the viewers.

However he is not the only one that is going through a major transformation in acting.

Shinhwa member, Eric, will take his place in the transformation by acting in MBC's new spring drama, 'The New Employee."

In his debut drama, 'I'm Running', Eric played a serious, yet caring role. In the hit MBC drama, 'Boolsae', Eric's character as a romantic, 'good manered' guy allowed him to enter the world of stardom. Through this drama, Eric was able to gain incredible amount of popularity, being named 2004's CF Star.

However in his new, anticipated drama 'The New Employee', Eric plays a rude, funny, and outgoing character that is going to display the 'Brand New Eric'. His new role will be extremely different and surprisingly good, as he tries to lose the image of always being serious and perfect.

Many Shinhwa fans agreed that Eric already proved to the world that he can play a funny role because of the irresistible charm and comedic attitudes he showed in programs that he appeared in. Many people are also excited to see Eric's transformation in his upcoming drama, which will air on March 23.

Lee Hyori and Eric filmed a scene at a nightclub for their widely anticipated CF/MV called, 'Anymotion', at Australia. At the scene, many Australian female models, present at the club, were not able to take off their eyes at Eric, who was showing off his powerful dance moves.

Eric gained 6kg during his activities with Shinhwa and has promised to lose 4kg and become a 'BODY JJANG' (몸짱. haha sorry i didn't know to translate that ^^). Eric has been getting back into shape with a personal trainer; he has also lost weight due to his tight, busy schedule last month.

Eric has also started to learn jazz dance because in his new drama, 'The New Employee', he gets a job as a dance teacher. Through this, he was also able to lose weight and make his body more 'fit'.

Last year, Eric shined through the MBC drama 'Boolsae' and was acknowledged as an actor. This year, Eric is moving up a step in his acting skills, with many people, including a colleague, to help him.

From a good for nothing person to a high ranking employee, he learned to act in “I Am Running,” and rose to stardom in “Fire Bird.” Eric, no Mun Jung Hyuk returns to TV on MBC’s “New Employee” which airs on the 23rd.

Because Eric had given up his US citizenship for acting and wants to be called Mun Jung Hyuk when he’s acting, one can see that he is very interested when he has to play the role of “Kang Ho.”

Even since the trailer for the drama came out, the drama gained popularity. With Shin Jung Hwan’s hairstyle and sweats, a shabby suit…you can see from just the outfit that Eric is taking a 180 degree change from the luxurious concept from “Fire Bird.”

With “Fire Bird,” there were hard times with acting, but with being a good-for-nothing person and an elite employee, Eric feels even more pressure to act the role of Kang Ho.
For the moment, Eric has been successful. Already filmed with two episodes, the director said “More than once a day, I am surprised at how good Eric is with the role.” His acting partner Han Ga In also said “He has both the image of a rich man’s son and a lazy person and it’s amazing how Eric can pull it off.”

Even so, Eric is not 100 percent firm about acting. “I still think singing on a stage is more comfortable, but because I think I can’t act well, I want to put more effort into it. I want to be accepted as both singer Eric and actor Mun Jung Hyuk.”

To be a better good-for nothing person, Eric is doing all he could. After being cast into the drama, he and a fellow senior from his school played for two months. Without any album performances, Eric wore sweats, reading comic books and lying around the house for a couple of months, which helped him understand what ‘baek soos’ do. Eric is usually found playing around with the other Shinhwa members and people think that Eric will do this role naturally without a problem.

Kang Ho, who can do everything except studying, differs from Mun Jung Hyuk’s almost being an elite student during his high school years. When he went to high school in US, he had a high grade point average and because he had interests in graphic design, after he graduated high school, he got accepted into an architecture school. If he wasn’t a singer, he might have been architectural designer Mun Jung Hyuk.

But why did Eric pick the role of Kang Ho when he was offered a role from three other dramas?

“I wanted to show the viewers that even though someone doesn’t have a job or someone is an workaholic, laughter can be found and I also wanted to focus on the problems in our society, portrayed in this drama.” He then thanked Lee Sun Mi, Kim Ki Ho, and the other staff members that he really liked the synopsis.

Did Kang Ho’s characteristics already influence Eric? When asked what he predicted for the ratings of the first episode, in a loud voice, Eric yelled “At least 80-90%!”

2005 03 30 (wed)/ Episode 03

After Kang Ho (Mun Jung Hyuk) has passed the test, starting from the morning Kang Chul (Pak Chil Yong) and Hae Sook (Pak Hae Sook) receives many phone calls congradulating their son on his success. The couple tries to be modest while thanking them but they cannot hide the happiness they felt. Hae Sook gives KangHo, who just walked out of the house after finishing breakfast, money to buy a suit.

Hyun Ah (Lee So Yeon) calls BongSam (Oh Ji Ho) to a meeting for heirs to corporations introducing him as "S group's 2nd son." Flabbergasted, BongSam greets them and tries to fit in when Hyun Ah tells him to wait for her somewhere else. Feeling insulted, he gets angry and leaves when she arrives after a long while.

Kang Ho, who went to get his father's new shoes visits Kwon Ma Dam's (Kwon Ki Sun) bar when e meets Mi Ok (Han Ga In) who was looking after the store for her and then BongSam who was drunk comes in. After asking each other their relationship with Mi Ok, in the end BongSam throws a fist towards Kang Ho.

All the while, Chief of Department Goo sees Kang Ho's application and test results and becomes perplexed eventually going to check the answers with the answer sheet. Kang Ho, who is unaware of all this goes to the job interview with confidence.


2005 03 31 (Thurs)/ Episode 04

BongSam (Oh Ji Ho) was dumbfounded and laughed when he heard of KangHo's entry into the company from HyunAh (Lee So Yeon) but when he heard that he got perfect on his test he loses his smile and frowns. Hyun Ah becomes amused at BongSang's reaction and how he cannot understand the situation which clearly shows on his face.

Back at KangHo's home, a feast takes place to celebrate his success. KangHo who still cannot believe that he passed feels uneasy but since he cannot share this with his family, he goes back to get a confirmation. KangHo asks whether there was a problem with the machine and its system leading to his success and to this the executive director (Lee Gi Yul) loses composure asking if he really has no confidence.

Now KangHo who believes he succeeded greets MiOk (Han Ga In) warmly when he meets her by coincidence at the front of the building. However MiOk, remembers what happened at the bar with BongSam and disappears after a short greeting.

Later in the evening, MiOk meets KangHo and asks him to pretend that he does not know her even when they bump into each other during work so that people do not misunderstand. KangHo, once arriving home cannot sleep but thinks about MiOk and her suspicious actions so he becomes late for work the next day which is his first.
