i think he can understand, read and write english. kaso when he talks, it's kinda different. actually i think, adny speaks better english now. Eric and Jang ShinYoung, received 50 million won in advance to star as the female and male lead in the blockbuster drama 'Sun at full speed.'

This drama which is produced by Flanders Media, will start filming in mid-July in Malayasia, Philippines, Taiwan, and Japan making it a drama which was 60-70% filmed overseas, and will air in October.

'Sun at Full Speed' is a drama which outlines the lives of car racers. In the world of car racing, where victory can be determined even with the difference of 0.01 second, it is the story of 5 women and men and their lives in which they go through love and betrayal, and outlines the passionate young people's ambition and their suffering.

To film various car racing scenes including car eplosions, overthrown car scenes, they will be filming at AhnSan, where World Camp Car Series takes place in October.

First, if i had a girlfriend, i would have revealed the news but as of now, we are at the stage of building a careful relationship so hearing the scandal has shocked me a bit. Truthfully, i dont feel that it's time for me to reveal the news, but since it's been revealed, i want to tell you truthfully in my own words.

First, i feel kind of apologetic and cautious since I'm a person who's eating off love right now. We're not dating yet and because it's hard for me to date right now, it's the truth that we are building a good relationship but I'm not mistaken that she's a girl that i love so much.

And as for my company's denial before getting in touch with me, I think they probably thought it was best action to perform. I thought it might startle the fans and Shi Yun, so I decided to write in my words what's really going on.

I'm sorry for the people who had a lot of expectation for me but on the other hand, I'm happy that in the midst of all my hard times, I was able to meet a good person.

It's kind of straightfoward, but I'll be even more happy if you fans would be happy for me. If you would just think of me as an older brother, younger brother, or even a friend as a person who met a wonderful person and is just starting out a careful relationship, I would be so thankful.

In the future, I pray that harmful words or negative feedback won't ruin our love and we can meet beautifully.

Eric Mun Confesses His Feelings for Park Shi-yeon


"I have no doubts that I love this woman," wrote Shinhwa member Eric Moon regarding 2000 Miss Korea and model Park Shi-yeon on the group’s official website on May 14.

In a message titled “Long time,” Moon wrote, "We are still being careful with each other but I thought I should tell you about this frankly, as our relationship has been publicized to some extent already. At the 41t Baeksang Arts Awards Ceremony, Eric has received the New-coming Actor and Popularity award, proving his success in his career change from singer and actor.

Eric expressed his thoughts when winning the New-coming Actor award, "I will take this as a message to work harder so I can stand here every year." Then when he stood up to as a winner of the Popularity award he cannot hide his happiness as he says, "I am honored to receive an award which, I have never thought of receiving."

All the while, since there were many winners for the Popularity award, there was a mishap where the trophy and their owners did not match. There were 6 actors and actresses in total; Kim Tae Hee, Eric, Jo InSung for the Television category and Kang DongWon, Kim RaeWon, Lee DongGun for the film category.

Due to this reason, after the awards ceremony the managers were very busy trying to find the right trophy owner. Hello. This is Eric.
Were many of you guys suprised at my post on the homepage? I am sorry to all those who received it badly and even too those who received the sudden news warmly.
I don't know how you guys will take this, but I will still tell you what i think.
You all knew that the director of my first drama, 'I am Running', was Park Sung Soo, right? Truthfully, while i was filming that drama, my perspective and way of life changed. Instead of learning more about acting from director Park Sung Soo, i learned more things about life from him.

From that script, I learned that i could be happy in many ways without being rich, that my dreams were not very important to other people and that even if i don't put money and fame as a priority, wealth would slowly find it's way back on the top of my goals list. I've always believed that my job was just work. Happiness was playing and taking a vacation; i always separated happiness and work into two different categories.

Every since i debuted as a Shinhwa member, the famous, actor Eric always truthfully wrote about his feelings toward acting, "Compared to all the other Shinhwa members, I was extremely nervous and afraid to expose myself on TV for the first time in a drama. It was because of my director who made decisions in 0.5 seconds! Although i needed to take on the responsibility of carrying myself well even though i didn't do too well, i was more afraid of the camera!"

The nervousness i felt during a close-up... I was really embarr***ed to admit that i was afraid of being in front of a camera when i had already debuted for six years. I was able to understand the fact that I couldn't act-only because I was new in the acting business. However, i couldn't bear the butterflies that were in my stomach; i was very nervous.
During this time, the 'brand new' Eric needed to find a solution to solve his 'nervous' problem. "After many days of thinking, i sought a solution book to help me out. Then the answer came to me: GET NAKED. I decided to strip away all the 'fakeness' and show the staff members the real me. After i told the older staff members, my manager, and my coordinators that i was embar***ed to be afraid of being in front of the camera, people started to help me out. They stood by my side and monitored me to make sure i was ok."

Although this was revealed later on, James Dean was also so nervous during a party scene that all the actors unzipped their pants and pee-d in the swimming pool in front of all the staff members. I don't really know if this is true though..

I consider this situation as the same as right now. After 'Boolsae' i gained a lot of popularity and truthfully, i wasn't sure if i could take it. While i was having a hard time accepting my new position and status in the entertainment world, i had go on pretending to be a real human being again. It didn't matter if i wanted it or not.. it was a 'bubble' popularity.. and inside my heart, i really believed that.. That really hurts you know... Every day I suffered, thinking that the 'bubble' could burst any minute. I started putting on a mask, pretending to be happy.. It didn't matter anyways...if i had to pretend to be another person in order to support myself/make a living, i didn't have a problem with it.. I knew my popularity and love life would also be a heavy burden on me. i didn't want to risk my job and my happiness so that i could be rich. I tried really hard to incorporate my work and my happiness together. I want to truthfully tell you that this is thetype of person i am. I'm not perfect and i still avoid many things in life because i'm afraid to face them. I want my values to be tested and even if i'm not satisfied with the results, i want to go through life knowing that i've worked hard, not only depending on other people and good luck.

Were you happy when Choi Min Shik got married? Then were you happy when the previous Eric didn't get married? (?)

Were you happy when i went solo? For the past seven years, i lived hard, holding onto my profession, thinking that that was the only thing i excelled in and i practically lived according to the m***'s (public) wishes. However, it frustrates me when the public tells me whom i can and cannot love. I've always wanted to be a role model- a leading model that everyone can look up to. To me, that goal of becoming a leading figure is a promise from me to you. I believe that my goal is more important than any dreams of being rich. I want to neatly wrap myself up and present to you my faults because i am too an ordinary person. I want to slowly gather my good lucks and pile them up. When a star, that is ***umed to be nice and ordinary, gets caught by the paparazzi doing something wrong, the public automatically disowns them. All the hard efforts that they've (the stars) piled up comes crashing down. I don't want to be that kind of star.

It doesn't matter when it is revealed- I want to be able to talk about my love live confidently and be a role model to you.

Obviously, there will be a lot of downfalls in the future. Future fans might leave me, disappointed by my actions and decisions. To those fans i want to say this: 'I am sorry that i wasn't the type of person you thought i was, but i'm hoping that you can stay by my side until the end to see the results- to see what i can offer you.' To all those fans that have been standing by my side till now, i really want to thank you guys and treat all of you guys out to dinner. i really do. I was able to understand the fact that I couldn't act-only because I was new in the acting business. However, i couldn't bear the butterflies that were in my stomach; i was very nervous.
During this time, the 'brand new' Eric needed to find a solution to solve his 'nervous' problem. "After many days of thinking, i sought a solution book to help me out. Then the answer came to me: GET NAKED. I decided to strip away all the 'fakeness' and show the staff members the real me. After i told the older staff members, my manager, and my coordinators that i was embar***ed to be afraid of being in front of the camera, people started to help me out. They stood by my side and monitored me to make sure i was ok."

Although this was revealed later on, James Dean was also so nervous during a party scene that all the actors unzipped their pants and pee-d in the swimming pool in front of all the staff members. I don't really know if this is true though..

I consider this situation as the same as right now. After 'Boolsae' i gained a lot of popularity and truthfully, i wasn't sure if i could take it. While i was having a hard time accepting my new position and status in the entertainment world, i had go on pretending to be a real human being again. It didn't matter if i wanted it or not.. it was a 'bubble' popularity.. and inside my heart, i really believed that.. That really hurts you know... Every day I suffered, thinking that the 'bubble' could burst any minute. I started putting on a mask, pretending to be happy.. It didn't matter anyways...if i had to pretend to be another person in order to support myself/make a living, i didn't have a problem with it.. I knew my popularity and love life would also be a heavy burden on me. i didn't want to risk my job and my happiness so that i could be rich. I tried really hard to incorporate my work and my happiness together. I want to truthfully tell you that this is the type of person i am. I'm not perfect and i still avoid many things in life because i'm afraid to face them. I want my values to be tested and even if i'm not satisfied with the results, i want to go through life knowing that i've worked hard, not only depending on other people and good luck.

Were you happy when Choi Min Shik got married? Then were you happy when the previous Eric didn't get married? (?)

Were you happy when i went solo? For the past seven years, i lived hard, holding onto my profession, thinking that that was the only thing i excelled in and i practically lived according to the m***'s (public) wishes. However, it frustrates me when the public tells me whom i can and cannot love. I've always wanted to be a role model- a leading model that everyone can look up to. To me, that goal of becoming a leading figure is a promise from me to you. I believe that my goal is more important than any dreams of being rich. I want to neatly wrap myself up and present to you my faults because i am too an ordinary person. I want to slowly gather my good lucks and pile them up. When a star, that is ***umed to be nice and ordinary, gets caught by the paparazzi doing something wrong, the public automatically disowns them. All the hard efforts that they've (the stars) piled up comes crashing down. I don't want to be that kind of star.

It doesn't matter when it is revealed- I want to be able to talk about my love live confidently and be a role model to you.

The news is saying that the Japanese TV is going to buy Super Rookie, the contract is in processing now and price is under negotiation. It may break the highest price of drama exporting to Japan.

It's assumed that the contract price will be 2 or 3 times higher than normal Korean drama.

The related staff states that the oversea buyer has been paying high attention on the popularity of the hottest Korean star "Eric". In addition, with Eric's high popularity, Japan's young generation is welcoming and expecting the another Korean-wave from of "this hottest star ERIC" comparing with other Korean-wave stars.

On May 9th, Super Rookie was just sold to Taiwan breaking the highest price among those Korean dramas which were exported to Taiwan. As such, Super Rookie will break the record again.

What are three reasons why you don't like mosquitos? ;;;

First...just because. (note: his first response was a pun with the word mosquito in kOrean...**)

Second...because mosquitos are nasty (note: he used another pun here...but I dunno if it's just a typo or if he really said it....*0_o*) And third...because mosquitos don't like me either!

A while ago, you found your girlfriend through [TV Neun Sa Lang Eul Shid Go]. How did you feel when you first saw her?

It was weird. Her face was just like before, it didn't change...but she got a lot taller.. In any case, it was very strange.

Suggest a song that is nice to hear in the summer time...

You seem to really like swords. Is there any specific reason?

It's the best stress reliever. When I get really stressed, I take a box and stand it up so that I can cut it and pierce it with a sword. I also have a throwing double-edged sword, which is very fun, too. (I Love Star's comment: He really is like a bizarre curiosity seeking king?! ^^)

You're gaining a lot of popularity these days through your imitation of a recent sock commercial. Is it something that you practice separately?

It was just something I made up while traveling from place to place, so when they suddenly asked me to do it, I was kind of shocked. Well, it's not something that I practice separately. I just do it naturally...

What do you think brings ShinHwa so much popularity?

DongWan's muscles, Eric's *^^* airplane hat, Jin's reggae hair, Andy's sunglasses, MinWoo's blue hair, and HyeSung's....wouldn't it be HyeSung's hairstyle! The end!

Before our 3rd album, I did post a couple messages. But these days, we're so busy that I can't even post messages anymore...

What do you think of when you hear the word "pure"?? And who is a person you know that you think is very 'pure'...

When I hear pure, I oddly think of the color white. And a person that I think is very pure is "Mister Bin". You know who I'm talking about, right? He seems like he's not all there, but is at the same time very funny. He seems like a very pure person...

If the Earth was about to blow up (which would never happen ^^;;) and everyone had to go to a different planet, where would you want to go?

Yes, I really like it. And a hairstyle that I really want to try is the cricket hairstyle. Can you imagine that?

I have a lot, but my favorite is "GON".

The character that I've been nicknamed after..."GON"!

When you have children later on, what are you going to name them?

If it's a son, Jae Ah, and if it's a daugher, Uh Gong Ju *^^*. And since my last name is Mun, their names would be Mun Jae Ah and Mun Uh Gong Ju. (note: Eric has once again used puns. 'moon jae ah' in Korean means "a problem child" and "moon uh gong ju" means "mermaid". **)

What do you think when you see ID's like "so and so's wife"?

I don't really pay attention...but the homosexuality part is kind of...weird. ^^;;

I'm enjoying listening to some freestyle rap that my friend Young Bae gave me, and as for books, I enjoyed reading "Mut Ji Dah, Mah Sah Soo"
