From yesterday’s episode:
KM = Kapitan Min
JD = Jang Duk
MD = Mang Dukgu
JG = Jang-Geum
SB = Shin-Bi
YY = Yeul-Yee
KM: how could this be?
JD: actually, governor Park Su-Bok asked me about you so I told him. And people who heard of your story have made petitions to him. And the governor has made an appeal to the king.
KM: the governor did?
JD: yes. I’m taking care of his mother’s health right now.
MD: yes of course! Now things are turning out right.
Villagers: sir! Sir! We ran here thinking you might’ve left already.
KM: what is it?
Villagers gives something to KM
KM: what are these?
Villagers: actually, we didn’t have much so we brought the best of what we have. Don’t they look that pretty? We collected these from everyone in the village.
MD: These are precious things
KM: I can’t receive them
MD: but it’s their wish
KM: Just think that I’ve received them and cook them for the people here.
Villagers: Oh no!
KM: no, ginseng should be good for you now that you’ve been healed. Isn’t that right? (looks at Jang-Duk)
JD: yes…ginseng after an illness is very good.
KM: so go ahead.
Villagers: oh no, you take one pocket of these and the other can go to that physician lady. Yes, please! We’ll go now. (puts the bags of ginseng roots in the table). Bye!!!
Tonight’s episode
Will get the two bags but have left the ginseng root in the table.
KM: I’ll only take your heart. Let’s go.
KM and JD walked ahead while MD tries to get a piece of the ginseng root…funny!
MD: it might get stolen.
Meanwhile, in the palace…
Head nurse 1: Yuel-yee didn’t pass on the order of evacuation to you?
JG: no
SB: if she had received the order why would she go back to the town?
Head nurse 1: and you clearly gave the order?
YY: yes. Jo-Dong and Cho-Bok were at the same place. Jo-Dong and Cho-Bok came at the given time.
Head nurse 1: is that so?
Jo-Dong: yes. Though the three of us didn’t hear it together, JG came while the order was being given, and she gave the order to JG after we left.
Head Nurse 2: did you hear the order that was given to JG?
Jo-Dong & Cho-Bok: yes
JG: She only told me to bring medicines from Yong-Je town.
YY: That’s not so.
Nurse: What’s going on here? She says she told her and yet she says she didn’t hear it.
JG being helpless.
Jo-Dong entered the library and saw YY there.
YY: what is it?
Jo-Dong: I think I did hear something about Yong-Je
YY: listen to me carefully. You can remain here only if goes to the civilian office. So zip your mouth.
YY left the library…
Jo-Dong: I was doubting it, really doubting it. When you wanted to bet.
SB: let’sgo.
Jo-Dong: To where?
SB: we should tell the head physician.
Jo-Dong: no! I’m scared.
SB: what about JG?
Jo-Dong: it’s because you didn’t see her eyes when she told me, "zip your mouth". Please don’t get me involved in this.
SB: Jo-Dong!
Jo-Dong: I don’t know…even if the head physician lady asks me, I will say I don’t know, ok?
SB: no! you have to tell her.
Jo-Dong: oh no! I can’t do it! I’m scared!
Jo-Dong was being dragged by Shin-Bi going to the head physician.
Yung iba, ire-relate ko na lang. Ang haba kasi eh. Marami pang mga intervening scenes pero ang pinaka-hightlight ng scene tonight I guess will be…si JG papupuntahin sa public hospital. YY requested na paghiwalayan sila ni JG dahil lagi na lang daw silang nagtutunggali! Then the head physician decided to let JG go to the public hospital. When JG’s about to leave the palace, nakasalubong nya sila KM at Dr. Jung. She was asked where’s she’s going. Sabi nya, she was told to go to the public hospital. Tinanong ni Dr. Jung who gave the order, must be the head physician. KM said, "come follow me…just follow me without any words." So they went to the meeting place in the pharmacy. Sabi nung Head Nurse 2, "JG, why are you still here? Didn’t the head physician tell you to go to the public hospital?" But then, KM came and said, "she’s not going there!" nagulat ang lahat. Sabi nung head physician na di daw nya jurisdiction ang pharmacy kaya wala syang karapatang pangunahan sya sa desisyon. Banat naman ni Dr. Jung, "KM has been promoted to be the 2nd in rank in the pharmacy. So mega gulat ang lahat…yes including tarsier! Hahahaha!!! So KM said, "putting what she’s done aside, she has taken cared of the sick while she was sick herself and people have given her a gift out of gratitude. How much more of caring for other people is she to learn?" whahahahahaha!!! Wala silang nagawa kundi ang pabalikin si JG.
I don’t know to where the episode tonight will be. Kaya, watch outtttttttttt!!!

anyeonghaseyo!! ;D a little bit of trivia lang sa lahat.... alam nyo bang isa sa mga naging predictions ni mr rene mariano <sikat and super galing na fortune teller...as in nagkakatotoo halos lahat ng mga hula nya!> for year 2005 eh may darating daw sa phils. na foreign soap na tipong ka-level daw ng "marimar" sa sobrang ganda and sikat ,,and it turned out to be (VERY OBVIOUSLY)........JEWEL IN THE PALACE!!!!....super duper intriguing noh?!?....;D

Sayang, nakatulog ako kagabi. Namiss ko ang mukha ni Lady Choi, yong expression niya pagmatatamaan ng mga sinasabi sa kanyang kalaban. I miss the confrontation of her and Jang Geum. It's good that there are comments here and brief summary of episodes. I am still able to have a glimpse of what happened last night. Thanks a lot . . .

Yehey!!! Let's celebrate and drink soju. Buntis na si Yeon Sang. Kahit ano talagang gawin nila "Madam" Choi, hindi sila magtatagumpay.
Akala ko kagabi hihirit na naman si No Chang at sasabihing "Lady Min, bakit niyo na naman ginagaya si Lady Han?" kasi di ba dati nung pinadala sina Lady Min sa labas ng palasyo para magluto nung kakahirang pa lang kay Lady Han, ginaya niya kung paano magsalita si Lady Han. Mukha siya tuloy kagalang-galang.
Buti nga sa mga tagapaglingkod na yan. Akala mo kung sino eh mas magaling naman sina Yeon Sang at Jang Geum sa kanila. Ngayon sisipsip sila dahil may kapangyarihan na si Yeon Sang.
Naku, gagawa ng paraan si Yuri para masira si Jang Geum dahil hindi sila nagtagumpay ng una. Technically di ba hindi naman alipin lang si jang geum dahil anak siya ng kapitan at tagapaglingkod sa palasyo kaya walang issue pagdating sa maharlika at alipin na relationship.
Abangan ulit natin mamaya.:D

that could be three things... syempre dahil kumalat ang balita na buntis siya.. so unang nagpakita eh ung mga servants niya...

Talaga? Nagsusuka na si Yeon Sang? Alam ko hindi niya din yung masyadong sinasadya kasi di ba ganun ang nagbubuntis pero the best pa din yun kasi maiinis sina geum young pero wala silang magagawa. Hahaha!!! Tiyak nga na matutuwa sina Madam Jung at Lady Han sa mga nangyayari sa kanilang 2 although si Jang Geum eh medyo madami pang pagdadaanan.

yun-saeng is recognized by the king (she is pregnant) and all the servants and maids are trying to get on her good side. yun-saeng's servants come to apologize to yun-saeng about their rude treatment toward her in the past. yun-saeng is about to say all is forgiven but min sang goong interrupts by scolding the maids on yun-saeng's behalf. young-roh arrives w/ present from jae-jo-sg (choi-sg) and herself. young-roh brings up how they grew up together and such but yun-saeng brushes her off and tells her to leave politely.
jewels tanong ko lang. dito sa nabasa ko. yun-sang was recognized by the king, she is pregnant. pero parang hindi pinakita ng GMA iyon last wednesday kasi eh. inaabangan ko pa naman ang part na iyon.

MANILA, March 30, 2006 (STAR) By Pearl de Jose - Jewel in the Palace
fever surely has swept the land, but no one was more overwhelmed by the
popularity of GMA Network’s top-rating primetime Koreanovela in the
Philippines than the stars of the show themselves, Mi-Kyung Yang (who
plays Lady Han) and Jeong-Eun Cho (who plays the young Jang Geum), who
visited Manila from March 22 to 24.
"I’ve heard that Jewel in the Palace is popular in the Philippines, but
when I went here, that’s when I really felt it," an ever-smiling Ms. Cho,
10, gushes to Tess Bomb through an interpreter during her interview for
the GMA 7 morning talk show SIS.
"That’s why we’re here, to thank the Filipinos," says Ms. Yang also
through an interpreter during the interview she did for the showbiz talk
show Startalk. She and Ms. Cho said that learning of the show’s popularity
in the country was what made them decide to visit. "I would like to thank
the Filipinos for supporting the show and making it No.1," continues the
actress as well-loved Lady Han, the wise and compassionate mentor of Jang
Geum (Lee Young Ae), the show’s lead character.
Little did they know that they would experience the intensity of the
Jewel in the Palace fever in the country first-hand, when they were
surprised and overwhelmed by the throng of supporters that attended the
Koreanovela Day last March 23. Over 8,000 fans flocked to the Market!
Market! Activity Center at Fort Bonifacio to see Lady Han and young Jang
Geum in the flesh. Some of the fans even wore hanbok (traditional Korean
clothing) to the event. The crowd enjoyed the mini-show that GMA 7
prepared for them as they patiently waited for the appearance of the
Korean stars. Ms. Yang and Ms. Cho happily shared to the GMA staff
afterwards how happy they were that so many Filipinos came to the Fans
Day.
Friendly and accommodating, Ms. Yang and Ms. Cho were as charming in
person as they were in the hit drama series. They gave warm, easy smiles,
and gamely and sincerely answered the questions thrown at them during the
interviews for GMA 7’s talk shows. Ms. Yang is so beautiful and still
young-looking in person, even at 44. And while Ms. Cho has grown so much
since she did the series three years ago, she still looks very much like
the cute little girl who fed her dying mother wild berries in one of the
most memorable and tear-jerking scenes from the series. Both actresses
wore the fine-looking traditional Korean outfits for most of their
interviews.
Jewel fans would be delighted to learn that Ms. Yang and Ms. Cho find
their characters in the series similar to how they are in real life. "I
have many similarities with my character in the drama (Lady Han). In fact
that’s really pretty much how I am. The only difference is Lady Han lived
then, while I live in the present, and I am not a palace girl," Ms. Yang
imparts readily. Likewise, Ms. Cho says, "I am outgoing and persistent,
just like young Jang Geum in the series."
Both also love cooking. Ms. Yang often cooks for her family, and even
offered Tess Bomb during the interview for SIS if they would like her to
cook for them. Ms. Cho also feels she is already old enough to cook, and
in fact enjoys doing so. She can cook simple dishes like noodle soup. Ms.
Yang herself couldn’t help but serve Nelson Canlas a la Lady Han when he
was letting her sample traditional Filipino dishes during a coverage for
24 Oras. She herself put adobo, sinigang, seafood kare-kare and bibingka
on their plates, and even cut the meat for Nelson and put bagoong on his
kare-kare before they sampled the food together. She found adobo and
bibingka delicious and sinigang interesting, for she has never tasted
anything like it. She particularly enjoyed the seafood kare-kare because
of the bagoong and because she loves seafood.
Meanwhile, the series’ lead actress, Lee Young Ae, wanted to join her
co-stars in visiting the country but was unable to do so due to other
commitments. Yet hosts of GMA 7’s talk shows where her co-stars appeared
like Startalk, S-Files, SIS and news programs 24 Oras and Unang Hirit
wasted no time asking them what Lee Young Ae is like in person. Ms. Cho
imparts, "She is nice and kind to all and her skin is as fair and pure as
her heart." Meanwhile, Ms. Yang shares, "She is beautiful inside and out.
Jewel in the Palace is the third series in which we acted together, but we
became even closer after we did this, and that was already three years
ago."
According to Ms. Yang, she and Ms. Cho are also here to "serve as envoys
to strengthen the relationship between two countries," in commemoration of
the 15th anniversary of the dialogue relationship between ASEAN and the
Republic of Korea, in coordination with the Korean Embassy. In line with
this, they also visited an orphanage in Quezon City and made a courtesy
call to the Department of Foreign Affairs.
Both Korean stars said they would surely like to come back to the
Philippines soon. "I would love to come back here with my son and the rest
of my family for vacation, to see the famous beaches," says Ms. Yang. She
says what she loves best about Filipinos are the warm, bright expressions
on their faces and the energy they exude. Meanwhile, what Ms. Cho likes
about Filipinos is how they are always smiling and are very kind. "I would
love to come back here and meet some friends," she says.
It seems Ms. Yang and Ms. Cho have fallen in love with the Philippines
and its people in the short time they’ve been in the country, just as much
as Pinoys have fallen in love with the characters they played in Jewel in
the Palace. And while viewers no longer see their characters presently in
the series, the mark they have left in the hearts of viewers remains, as
proven by the warm welcome they got during their visit. It would surely be
more of a delight watching the Korean series on GMA 7’s primetime block
now that Pinoys have seen their much-admired stars in the flesh.

fyi lang, JITP topped the monthly Evening Programs for January 2006 (got a share of 59.6%) besting among others Search for the Star In A Million the Final Showdown and Search for the Star In A Million Grand Presentations (40% and 35% respectively).
For the record, JITP has never been dislodged from the top rank. JITP/YMK fanatics are diligently doing their share huh?;)

Jang-Geum goes around looking for Yuh-Ri. The soo-rak-gan maid says she could be with Lady Choi. Jang-Geum heads toward Lady Choi’s corridor. Inside Lady Choi’s chamber, Yuh-Ri tells Lady Choi and Geum-Young that Yun-Saeng’s drink will eventually cause her to be paralyzed and the baby will not survive. Jang-Geum is outside and overhears this statement.
Yuh-Ri goes back to nae-ee-ohn and she’s told teacher Doctor Shin wants to see her at lady sook-won’s room. Yuh-Ri arrives and sees all the doctors and nurses examing Yun-Saeng. The other nurses report to the doctor their finding which agrees with Jang-Geum’s, not Yuh-Ri’s.
Lady Min asks what’s going on. Doctor Shin asks Lady Min what lady sook-won’s been eating. She reports shrimp and lots of greasy food Yuh-Ri ordered. The staff go back to nae-ee-ohn. Doctor Shin demands Yuh-Ri to explain why she ordered such health-deprivating food for lady sook-won. Yuh-Ri insists she didn’t know it was harmful since she diagnosed Yun-Saeng differently. Doctor Shin and Doctor Jung don’t believe Yuh-Ri because she’s very skilled and she couldn’t have not known so they ask her what her real motive is. Yuh-Ri continues to say she’s innocent and the head doctor bails her telling the staff to forget the incident since Yuh-Ri made an honest mistake.
Alone, Yuh-Ri confronts Jang-Geum. Jang-Geum tells Yuh-Ri that Lady Jung and Lady Han will not forgive someone who uses food to harm people and neither will she. Jang-Geum warns Yuh-Ri if she let’s this happen again she will not be forgiven. Jang-Geum gives detailed instructions on how to take care of Yun-Saeng to Lady Min and Chan-Ee, and tells them Yuh-Ri is Lady Choi-sg’s spy.
Jang-Geum goes to see Min Jung-Ho to update him on Lady Choi’s activities. Jang-Geum states she wishes to look into the incident that caused the king to faint, which eventually led to Lady Han-sg’s jailing and death. Jang-Geum believes Lady Choi and Right Prime Minister Oh were behind the reason and she wants to dig out the truth to prove Lady Han’s innocence. Min Jung Ho says that’s impossible since she can’t examine the king’s health as a woman nurse. Jang-Geum says there is a way, which is to look into the king’s health records which can only be accessed by the king’s closest servants.
Jang-Geum goes to see the head guard who told her he can help her whenever she needs help. She asks him to help her get to the records but he says that can’t be done since those are sacred. Lady Min gets a blessed shirt for Yun-Saeng from the Kang Duk Gu and wife so Yun-Saeng will have a smooth labor. Jang-Geum goes to see Doctor Jung for permission to enter the sacred room where the health records of the royal family are kept, with the excuse that she wants to look into the background of the lady queen, just to make sure she’s giving her the best care. But Doctor Jung says that’s not necessary.
Lady Choi tells Geum-Young to decide how to deal with Jang-Geum. Jang-Geum tells the lady queen she has a request. The nae-ee-ohn staff find out Jang-Geum asked the lady queen for permission to go inside the sacared room and gets upset since the room is forbidden to someone at Jang-Geum’s ranking. The doctors tell Jang-Geum to withdraw the request from the queen. Jang-Geum asys she can’t and begs them to allow her to go in just this once.
Jang-Geum arrives at the record room. At first the guard forbids her from entering but the officer inside says to let her in since she got permission from the lady queen. Inside, the officer tells Jang-Geum she is only allowed to look at the lady queen’s records and she is not allowed to take anything from the room. Jang-Geum steals the king’s record book and runs back to nae-ee-on. Just as Jang-Geum is about to pull the stolen book from her stockings, Yuh-Ri arrives asking what she’s doing. Jang-Geum leaves and brings the book to Jang-Duk. Jang-Duk copies the contents of the book so Jang-Geum can return the original to the record room tomorrow.
Next day Jang-Geum brings the book back and steals another one so Jang-Duk can copy it and study it.
Geum-Young goes to see Min Jung-Ho and asks him to see her in private. Geum-Young brings him to the room where she prepared food and wine for him. Geum-Young tells him she always wanted to do this for him and asks him to remember her as the palace maid who was forbidden to love him but could not stop caring for him. Geum-Young states tomorrow she must put a stop to all her lingering love but one thing troubles her heart which is that she was never able to serve him food, and begs Min Jung Ho to eat.
Jang-Geum sneaks the last record book to Jang-Duk who tells her she’s making progress in determining what may be the real cause of the king’s illness at warm springs. The king is sick. The head doctor of nae-ee-ohn examines him and discovers a cold sore in the king’s mouth. When alone, the head doctor suddenly remembers something about the king’s health and goes to the record room to look up something. After the head doctor leaves, the guards from the record room tells the doctor to follow them. Then Jang-Geum arrives at the record room to put back the last record book she stole.
After she leaves, the guards from the record room catch up to her and takes her to a dark room to ask her to confess her reason for stealing the king’s record books. Jang-Geum tries to deny it, but the guards say the record book was missing from the time the head doctor was at the room but it reappeared after Jang-Geum arrived so she is definitely the one who took it.
Head doctor tells Lady Choi about Jang Geum being under investigation. Lady Choi suspects if Jang-Geum’s trying to look into the king’s faiting incident and orders Young-Roh and Choi Pan Sul’s messenger to investigate further.
The palace head guard tells Jang-Geum she should’ve listened to him when he told her not to go into the record room but Jang-Geum begs him saying the matter is not only about Lady Han’s innocence but it also regards the king’s health.
The head guard tells the other guards Jang-Geum made the mistake due to her over-blown curiosity. The guards let her go and Jang-Geum is escorted out by the head guard. Lady Choi catches up to the head guard and Jang-Geum, and asks the head guard if he wants to betray the king.

The popularity of "The Great Jang-geum" is skyrocketing in Taiwan, taking the 2nd place in all TV ratings. It is the highest popularity rating since Korean drama was introduced to Taiwan. "DJG addictive syndrome" has been sweeping across Taiwan and is driving many Taiwanese viewers to do nothing but thinking of DJG all day long, 24/7.
Beside the drama, the novelized DJG is also taking the third place on Taiwanese bestseller list. DJG original soundtrack CD ranked the 6th on g-music Asian chart. Surprisingly, you can find an unauthorized cookbook titled "The healthy diets of The Great Jang-geum" which is jumping on the bandwagon though it has nothing to do with the Korean drama at all.
Floods of viewers are now requesting on the DJG's Taiwanese website that the shows dubbed in Taiwanese are so terribly cut out in many parts that they want to watch the original Korean version from the frist episode. Even some people appeal for their addictive symptoms, saying "My brain is occupied by DJG all day long"
According to the DJG official message board, a Taiwanese family fell to DJG so much that even the mother is calling her daughter "Jang-geum". Her daughter says, she shook herself together after getting a message from her mother saying "Cheer up! Jang-geum also went through all these challenges."
The daughter also added she has learned Korean by herself and now memorizes all the lines in DJG scenario in Korean as well as in Chinese. Furthermore, she is now studying a medical book which was quoted in the drama and keeping her calligraphy diary as Jang-geum did.
Her father is now concerned she may say some day she will marry a Korean guy and live there.
Her mother cooks Korean ramen(noodle) if she is hungry and the family eat out at a Korean restaurant as often as possible. They are planning a tour to Korea down the road. They say they are willing to join a DJG tour if any travel agent develops such a program.
DJG related phrases are also in everybody's lip, in the office or everyday life. "Lady Choi" became a synonym for bad-tempered person. "He/She is like Lady Choi" is also spreading quickly among Taiwanese viewers.
With its reputation getting around, The Great Jang-geum is gaining momentum for more popularity. It is now airing the part where Jang-geum has returned to the palace as a female physician for her revenge, and has 20 more episodes to go. It is now a matter of interest whether DJG can overtake the current number 1 program "The Taiwan Tornado".

"I’ve heard that Jewel in the Palace is popular in the Philippines, but when I went here, that’s when I really felt it," an ever-smiling Ms. Cho, 10, gushes to Tess Bomb through an interpreter during her interview for the GMA 7 morning talk show SIS.
"That’s why we’re here, to thank the Filipinos," says Ms. Yang also through an interpreter during the interview she did for the showbiz talk show Startalk. She and Ms. Cho said that learning of the show’s popularity in the country was what made them decide to visit. "I would like to thank the Filipinos for supporting the show and making it No.1," continues the actress as well-loved Lady Han, the wise and compassionate mentor of Jang Geum (Lee Young Ae), the show’s lead character.
Little did they know that they would experience the intensity of the Jewel in the Palace fever in the country first-hand, when they were surprised and overwhelmed by the throng of supporters that attended the Koreanovela Day last March 23. Over 8,000 fans flocked to the Market! Market! Activity Center at Fort Bonifacio to see Lady Han and young Jang Geum in the flesh. Some of the fans even wore hanbok (traditional Korean clothing) to the event. The crowd enjoyed the mini-show that GMA 7 prepared for them as they patiently waited for the appearance of the Korean stars. Ms. Yang and Ms. Cho happily shared to the GMA staff afterwards how happy they were that so many Filipinos came to the Fans Day.
Friendly and accommodating, Ms. Yang and Ms. Cho were as charming in person as they were in the hit drama series. They gave warm, easy smiles, and gamely and sincerely answered the questions thrown at them during the interviews for GMA 7’s talk shows. Ms. Yang is so beautiful and still young-looking in person, even at 44. And while Ms. Cho has grown so much
since she did the series three years ago, she still looks very much like the cute little girl who fed her dying mother wild berries in one of the most memorable and tear-jerking scenes from the series. Both actresses wore the fine-looking traditional Korean outfits for most of their interviews.

"I have many similarities with my character in the drama (Lady Han). In fact that’s really pretty much how I am. She found adobo and bibingka delicious and sinigang interesting, for she has never tasted anything like it. She particularly enjoyed the seafood kare-kare because of the bagoong and because she loves seafood.
Meanwhile, the series’ lead actress, Lee Young Ae, wanted to join her co-stars in visiting the country but was unable to do so due to other commitments. A kitchen maids hears noises in the jar room and reports to Lady Min. Jang-Geum arrives at the jar room to face Lady Choi. Lady Choi raises her arms to slap Jang-Geum but Jang-Geum grabs her hand and states if she doesn’t turn herself in Geum-Young will take all the blame instead. Jang-Geum tells Lady Choi to turn herself in then leaves. Outside Lady Min and Chan-Ee scold Jang-Geum saying they can just call the guards but Jang-Geum says she wishes Lady Choi to turn herself in.
Lady Choi steps out and begins to walk, with each step she remembers the way Lady Jung and Lady Han begged her to do the right thing before they each passes away. Lady Choi kneels in front of Myung-Ee’s grave to talk to Myung-Ee. Lady Choi wonders how life would be different had Myung-Ee never saw her putting poision in the queen’s food, and how things would be if Myung-Ee and her switched lives. She remembers her childhood laughters with Myung-Ee and Lady Han. Outside the cave, she sees a red ribbon hanging on a tree like when she was little and she tries to get the ribbon. Lady Choi gets the ribbon but slips and falls off the cliff. She grabs a twig hanging on the side of the cliff and remembers a similar time when she was little. Back then Lady Choi was scared to jump off but Myung-Ee and Lady Han caught her, so Lady Choi smiles and lets go of the grip on the twig and Lady Choi falls into the cliff of open forest.
Min Jung-Ho tells Jang-Geum where Lady Choi’s body was found and Jang-Geum replies that’s near her mother’s grave. Lady Min and Chan-Ee are saddened by the news of Lady Choi dying but Yun-Saeng reminds them how Lady Jung and Han died. Right Prime Minister Oh and Choi Pan Sul are given the death penalty. Geum-Young is to be banned from the palace forever. Before Geum-Young leaves, she sends a child messenger to get Jang-Geum. yes indeed, magkaka-anak sila Kapitan at Jang-geum and syempre, the life of Jang-geum didn't stop when she finally discovered how to do surgery di ba? her life went on till she went home with her Maker. but then, the director decided to just end the story there.
it deservers a sequel though but that will require another time to spare, another budget to keep and another artist to choose. we won't know, kung sakaling meron man sequel eh baka di na si LYA ang gumanap...di ba? oh well, let's just hope na meron nga...but don't expect para di ka ma-frustrate, ok?

hmm..nag start cia November 7, 2005 bali bukas..5 months na ciang pinapalabas..grabe 5 months na tayong adik sa JITP..at 5 months na tayong puyat!!haha...nako pag nawala ang JITP mamiss ko tlga yan..huhuhu chka mamimiss ko un puyatan moments ko kasama ang buong tao d2 sa bahay..mamimiss ko lahat!!huhuhuhuh..sana wag muna matapos JITP..

22일, 포트 보니파쇼의 한 마켙에 필리핀 인기 TV 드라마 대장금의 한상궁과 어린 장금역으로 출연한 탤런트 양미경(45)씨와 조정은(10)양을 보기 위해 인산인해를 이루었다고 태국의 교민신문 코리안 포스트는 전했다.
당시 마켓 바깥쪽의 플레이그라운드에서는 한국을 상징하는 청사초롱들이 달려 이색적인 분위기와 함께 한국음식 축제가 마련되었으며, 마켓의 중앙홀에 한국음식 페스티벌을 알리는 프랭카드와 대장금의 한상궁의 사진 함께 걸려있는 무대가 준비되었고 무대를 중심으로 대장금 팬들이 모여들기 시작했다고 전했다.
이날 “행사장에 많게는 10000여명이 모여들 것으로 예상, 행사장 주변에 경찰과 경비원들을 배치 만약의 사고에 대비하여 엠불란스와 경찰차 등을 준비했었다” 라며, “많은 인원이 참석할 것으로 예측던 것은 필리핀에서 대장금은 시청율이 50%를 상회하는 인기를 끌고 있기 때문”이라고 지적했다.
“각 업체들로부터 대장금을 보느라 업무효율이 떨어진다는 불평에 필리핀 방송은 오후에 방영하던 대장금을 저녁시간으로 옮겨 방송해 필리핀 내에서 대장금의 인기가 얼마나 높게 일고 있는 지짐작할 수있는 자리”였다며, 7시에 행사를 시작할 계획이었으나, 오후4시경 부터, 모여드는 인파는 한국식품업체들과 식당에서 준비한 한국음식들을 접했으며, 한국음식에 대해서도 상당한 관심을 나타냈다고 전했다.
한국의 전통문화를 선보이는 사물놀이 공연과 현지인들에게 유명한 댄서들의 춤, 각 한국 드라마의 사운드트랙(팝송)이 게속 선을보이며 중앙에 마련된 대형스크린에서는 내 이름은 김삼순과 각 드라마들의 하이라이트 장면들로 이 나와 한국의 정취를 물씬 풍겼다.

hello ginia! sorry kung medyo di kami nakakapag-post lately. bianchie's network connections are really down kaya di sya nakakapag-internet. i'm busy naman with my work. yes indeed, magkaka-anak sila Kapitan at Jang-geum and syempre, the life of Jang-geum didn't stop when she finally discovered how to do surgery di ba? her life went on till she went home with her Maker. but then, the director decided to just end the story there.
it deservers a sequel though but that will require another time to spare, another budget to keep and another artist to choose. we won't know, kung sakaling meron man sequel eh baka di na si LYA ang gumanap...di ba? oh well, let's just hope na meron nga...but don't expect para di ka ma-frustrate, ok?

There was this symbolic scene from their childhood days just before Lady Choi died. When she climb the tree to get on the branch to fetch a red ribbon, Lady choi told Mingyi and Lady han in fear that she was afraid to fall.
Lady Han and Ming yi reassured her na hindi naman siya maaano...pero naghesitate parin siya, when both of them told her sasaluhin ka namin, Lady Choi finally agreed. When she finally let go of her grip, they did not catch her, she fell hard on her butt, but Lady choi was fine.
May conclusion ako doon na ewan ko lang kung tama. When Lady choi fell of that cliff, Mingyi and Lady Han cannot be there to catch her from falling. Lady choi may have died, but it doesnt also mean that she isnt safe. She came back to Mingyi ang Lady Han's. :o

I dont care much kung Jang Geum only existed in the mind, meaning kagagawan ng vivid imagination ng writer. But what i complain is yung parang impossible naman ata yung last episode where she operated that lady na manganganak (cesarian), waz naman ako full knowldge how they operate in the past, so hindi rin aq siguradong sigurado sa case ko.... eheheh, criticism is good in some way kasi it means ininasapuso ng audience mo yung palabas, at iniistimulate nito ang mind para mag-isip...

naaalala nyo noong mga bata pa sila....geum-yong already made her goodbye obeisance to kapitan min since her family forced her to become a palace girl. when she said goodbye already, that means tanggap na nya na di talaga sya para kay kapitan. then now that kapitan is inloved with jang-geum, kay JG sya nagagalit at naghihiganti eh wala namang kasalanan si JG. di rin naman kasalanan ang magmahal ah...it's just that, bawal silang magmahalan dahil pareho silang palace servants. pero naglakas loob silang aminin sa king that they love each other. although they were separated for a time, but it's the test of time that made them stronger. ganyan katibay ang pagmamahalan nilang dalawa! very inspiring nga eh!!!

huhuhu. awang awa ako kay GY kagabi. hindi ko naiwasan malungkot para sa kanya. totoo nga iniibig nya ng lubusan si kapitan. touching ang line na ito. Huwag mo kalimutan ang mga luha sa gabi na ibinigay para sa kaligtasan mo. Sayang na sayang, sana dalawa na lang ang kapitan para wala ng nasasaktan. hahaha. sayang hindi sya nagpakita kay kapitan pakatapos ito habulin at hanapin. curious ako kung ano nais ni kapitan bakit nya hinabol ito. kung nagpakita sya baka naging maayos ng mabuti ang lahat.
Ngayon naman curious ako kung ano ang plano nya, pagkatapos nya umamin. Diba, sabi nya sa tiya nya, "bahala na sya kung ano gusto nya gawin sa kanila, hindi ako na lang ang gagawa"-geum young.

Ako muntik nang maiyak nung namatay si Madam Jung, at si YMK...gosh...kung di lang dyahe (kasi nanunood buong pamilya ko, alangang umiyak ako sa harapn nila!! para akong sira,,,baka pagkaisahan nila ako, wawa ako.) Yap, ako rin, mamimiss ko ang JITP, para kasi part na siya ng evening ritual ko...!
Oo nga, ehehehe. I dont know kung gaano ka powerful si Joey until pinili siya ni MAmanim....Hindi ko gusto yung pinapili nila yung batang JG kina mark @ etc... ano ba yun!?! baka na ofend yung bata, di lang nagpahalata... pero, ehehe, pinili parin niya si mark....:D
nako sinabi mo pa..haha ilang beses nako umiyak because of these TV series..ewan ko ba dalang dala ako sa kanila..wala na nga ako pakialam kung makita ko ng buong pamilya ko including our maids na umiiyak..haha feeling ko nga nasanay na sila sa akin..chka oki lang un cla din naman umiiyak..haha..nako nung death scene tlga ni Madam Jung nagamit ko tlga un kumot ko pangpunas ng luha..grabe kasi..lalo na nung namatay si lady han..1 week akong pumapasok ng maga mata ko..haha tawa nga ng tawa blockm8s ko haha:) madami pa kong iniyakan jan..hagulgol pa kamo..nung napalayas pa lang un mom ni JG at binabasa niya un letter ni Lady han..dun nag start ang paka baliw ko sa JITP..haha:)

hmm..nag start cia November 7, 2005 bali bukas..5 months na ciang pinapalabas..grabe 5 months na tayong adik sa JITP..at 5 months na tayong puyat!!haha...nako pag nawala ang JITP mamiss ko tlga yan..huhuhu chka mamimiss ko un puyatan moments ko kasama ang buong tao d2 sa bahay..mamimiss ko lahat!!huhuhuhuh..sana wag muna matapos JITP..
