Habang ipinakikita siya nagsasalita siya at nagtatawa(voiceover) sa background.

F4 and Louis Koo hang on wires to be blue bird men

Last year F4 went to Jordan to film a commercial for Pepsi. This year they have another breakthrough image. They assisted Louis Koo as "blue bird men" to film a new commercial. The advertisting company also used Hollywood special effects. They invited a group of manufacturing specialists from South Africa to supervise and direct the shooting. The cost this time is even higher than the trip to Jordan.

In this commercial entitled "Birdman Rescue," F4 and Louis turned into "blue bird men" by using computer graphics. Louis had quite a few scenes where he hanged on wires and scenes that were similar to explosivions. He had endured a lot of pain, shooting until his entire body was bleeding. When talking about this experience Louis said, "The director needed me to be trapped and hanged in a cage. My entire body was locked up, my neck, legs, arms, and waist were all locked by 7 metal rings. And I also had to be connected to a bunch of air tubes. Those metal rings were really heavy and could only be opened with a 6-angled key. The most miserable thing was hanging for 10 hours, causing many parts of my body to get wounded and bleed."

ZZ: Commecial is really shocking
The most difficult scene was when all the metal rings on him burst apart. Because of its difficulty, there were many NGs. Louis laughingly said, "When the director said cut everyone applauded. Although the scene was a bit exaggerated, but what I had to go through was real. My body ached after we were done filming so the expressions are absolutely realistic!"

As for F4, they had very deep impressions. Vic Chou (Zai Zai) said, "The first time I saw the commercial it was really shocking, it was amazing. It's been a long time since F4 worked together. This time there was less messing around though because the seriousness and diversity of the manufacturers created a tense atmosphere. The 4 of us concentrated on getting into it. It was only in the end when we filmed with Louis did the 5 of use mess around, it was really fun."

Vanness Wu said, "I never thought that our wings would come out so realistically. The 4 of us prepared seriously. We strived to be healthy for the commercial, it's the first time." And Ken Chu said, "This time we didn't hang as high. When hanging down we wouldn't get seriously injured. So it wasn't as frightening. One part of it talks about ZZ and I getting attacked by the fire bird and Jerry and Vanness saves us. It's very special." As for Jerry Yan, he had attempted to guess who the fire bird was. When he knew the answer he was very surprised.

Followed on Pepsi’s 9-stars commercial in Jordan last year, 5 top artists, Louis Koo and F4 allied first time for this year’s brand new Pepsi commercial, the Birdman rescue.

In order to exhibit the Flaming Hell and the Blue Birdman world in this rescue episode, trillions has invested in this commercial. The current production is even in a much larger scale than the 9-stars venture. The 5 super stars confronted with new challenges that they have never come across. The most advanced computer visual technology is being adapted, turning them into the super charm free flying birdman. A globally well-known production company from South Africa, and the famous director Ou Yang Zhi Wei jointly produces the entire advertisement. The South African experts even traveled to Hong Kong to supervise the shooting.

The South African expert expressed, “Pepsi’s commercial episode, the Rescue, adapted the most advanced technologies which specialized on sci-fic shooting from Hollywood. There were only two movies ever used this technique before even for Hollywood productions. One of them is the latest showing named “Sin City”. The application on commercial shooting is believed to be a breakthrough premiere attempt. The design and computer graphics on the Flaming Hell, Blue Birdman family and the Blazing Eagle alone had spent for six months to complete. Most surprisingly, all 5 Pepsi super stars took part in all the action and birdman flying filming. That was a difficult challenge to the artists, especially for Louis Koo and his role Lan Wu Ji. It was a real challenge on his acting skills and endurance. I was deeply impressed looking at him suffering from wounds yet insists for perfection. Vanness’s responses are as good as the top-class action stars.”

Taking the role of Land Wu Ji, Louis Koo comment, “First time shooting Pepsi Ad, I won’t say it’s over exhausted but rather feel hurting a little bit. In this story, I was trapped in a cage. Entire body is being fastened by pipes and hung in a birdcage. The neck, the limbs, the waist were being chained by 7 groups of metal-cuffs that were connected to several air pipes. The metal-cuffs are very heavy and can only be opened by 6-angle key. Moreover, I have to hang in the middle of air for 10 hours, causing numerous wounds and bleeding. In one of the shoots, all the pipes around me had to be broken. Unfortunately the shooting did not go smoothly. I have to re-take for so many times. Finally, we succeeded to take them down satisfactory. We all applauded. That was really exaggerated. Did you notice my facial expression in it was so real? In fact I was in real pain. I had worked on a movie that adapted with many stunts. However, it seems quite different from this assignment which accomplished 100% by computer effects. That is very difficult. I learn that only two movies has attempt in Hollywood. One of it is Sin City.”

Zaizai (Vic Zhou) said, “When I watched the ad yesterday, I was so shocked. That is excellent. F4 have not been worked together for a long time. This time we gathered for Pepsi. Because the production is so serious and complex, we seldom frolic around and worked in a tense atmosphere. All four of us were so serious getting focus into the job. It was only on the last part when 5 of us shoot together. It was very funny fighting to each other.”

Vanness’ (Wu Jian Hao) interpretation, “ We did not expect the wings would be graphic so real. All four of us are so serious to get ready for it. That was the first time all of us going for body training for the purpose of commercial shooting.”

Jerry (Yan Chen Xu) added, “I believe no one can get a perfect guess on who is the Blazing Eagle. I was so shocked when I first found out. I believe it will draw broad attention. Pepsi is really amazing. Soon, the Pepsi family will have a new brother.”

Ken (Chu Xiao Tian) expressed, “This time, the wires are not set too high. We won’t be seriously injured even we fell. So it is not that scary this time. In one of the scenes, Zaizai and I were attacked by the Blazing Eagle. Jerry and Vanness come to save us. That was very special. Unfortunately, we have to film it separately and get them combined by complex techniques. I don’t quite understand it. I heard the motions, the bodies and the heads cannot be perfect combined. So it won’t be shown on the film. That’s too bad.”

The stunning full version of the commercial will be premiered June 24 at 8pm on CCTV channel 1 and major TV channels nationwide simultaneously. A mysterious role, the Blazing Eagle who guarded the Flaming Hell and imprisoned Louis Koo, has been introduced on the 615 premiere episode. Who will that be? Will the Blue Birdman family be able to rescue the Blazing Eagle which had been corrupt by the Flaming Hell and free it from the evil power? This mysterious story is awaited to present its next surprise!

Many people have speculated that F4's relative staying power can be attribute
in part of each individual's capability of having different musical styles.
From ballad, hip hop, R&B and dance music. From my previous article, only
Zai zai and Vanness have the style in singing, but we cannot simply outcast
Jerry Yan, he also got the nicest lyrics of his songs & nice tempo. His songs
mixed with ballad of Zai zai are both midtempo that fared best on radio formats.

meanwhile, vanness's upcoming album done at the end of the year (?) with which
he contributed and co-produced embraces more of the influenced rhythms and textures
that makes Vanness mature as an artist.

There are no Christmas concerts this year! Reportedly, Joseph Koo, Joey Yung, Hacken Lee and F4 were all after the Christmas time slot. But based on our information from a reliable source, Hong Kong Coliseum has approved this year's Christmas time slot to an ice skating show!

Publicist for the organization in charge of Joseph Koo's concerts says, "We are disappointed in not getting the Christmas time slot, we will have to move the concerts to early December." The publicist for East Asia Entertainment in charge of F4 concerts says, "We are disappointed, but it's arranged by the government. F4 will reschedule and hold the concerts in March of next year. They win by real strength. It doesn't matter when their concerts are held!"

Emperor Entertainment Group's publicist says that Joey Yung will hold concerts in October, George Lam in November, Twins in January of Next year, and Hacken Lee concerts are to be held during the Chinese year.

AHHH- just found out... not long ago... that Wang Leehom's younger brother goes to my school. and he's my year. :confused: how could i not have met him?!?!? i had no idea that a taiwanese pop star's bro was @ my school!! apparently everyone knows! but he doesnt like to be associated with his bro (of course)... good thing he's at our school then b/c theres not a big taiwanese pop star fan community here. but can u even imagine?! he's connected to Wang Leehom, and Wang Leehom and Vanness know each other... peach girl, ai cuo, AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH... the possibilities... i can't even think about this right now.

BSCS The Televison magazine - Aug 2005, published on June 24, 2005

On Tokyo streets, F4 show their fascinating on and off sides. The first photo album for them in three years is finally coming on to market.

There are increasingly more F4 activities in Japan. As Early as July 20, the 2nd album "Fantasy 4ever" will be released by Sony Music Japan International. Photo album, "F4@Tokyo" will go on the market at the same time. It's a newly shot photo album with an "on and off" theme. "On" means they will express themselves in roles of actors and models. "Off" is where they show their true selves as real-life young people.

The photo album contains carefully selected photos. One of those photos is pre-published here. On the opposite page is a studio shot of the four of them gathering together, full of star aura. The 128 pages of the photo album are full of such charms. The special DVD has recorded all the details. Can hardly wait for it to come one the market!

Jerry Yan

Theme of Jerry's individual photos is Tokyo in the eyes of a grown-up. Those smart looking photos of Jerry's were taken at clubs in the Tokyo metropolitan area.

Vanness Wu

Vanness was photographed at his favorite place - a hotel which is now a ruin. He also got to experience the foreign atmosphere at exotic Shinjuku and the domestic side of Tokyo at Kabukicho.

Ken Chu

Ken was interested in various spots in Tokyo. His theme is the daily aspect of Tokyo. He enjoyed the traditional retail-store streets in Roppongi. His photos are full of various expressions.

Vic Chow

What Vic experienced is what Japan looks like. He was photographed on streets where young people gather such as the Center Street in Shibuya. Besides that, he also got exposed to Japan's good old days and was photographed in Japanese rooms and gardens in truly Japanese houses.

It has been a long time since I've posted. Honestly, It's not that I don't have time to post but it's more of a choice not to. Can't cope with the thread anymore, kinda dizzy whenever I browse...too many backlogzz and repost.:p
I tried to do Long Juan Feng Post but I guess it's not worth doing it anymore. It is not that do not want to do it because I still do. But the problem is ..for whom?! DAYNUH, CROOKZ, BEILING & PRETTYSARA JIE YOU KNOW WHAT I MEAN.

For all the sistahs here, I know sanay na kayo sa akin na magpost kung ano man ang gusto ko ipost and what I am really feeling. Okay, So everyone has reminisced the lines? I hope you guys were able to relate to them, remember the times and stuff we talked about from my replies…

If you may notice, some stuff are not really necessarily “Vanness”. I mean, some were mixed with personal stuff. But that’s how the Vannatics really are. You may not notice it but each and everyone here has become parts of your lives that it’s more than the F4, Vanness fever type of Sisterhood but also REAL Life Sisterhood. And I believe, we should know better. Being Vannatics that we are we should somehow address our thread problems. For those of you who may be totally clueless, here’s what I mean…

A lot may not know me, BabyA or Prettysara well. I hope that this post would enlighten YOU and EVERYBODY else. For me, and my close buddies here, the thread is actually having some troubles. At least for us, not for everyone. Still don’t get it? You will, soon enough just be patient… I’ll explain further.


Whenever I visit the thread nowadays, it’s feels weird. I feel like an unknown person/stranger when I post. Yeah, I may not be at the PEAK of my Vannatic surge but really everything felt different. That’s one reason why I’ve been missing in action.

How do I say this? There’s no other simpler way so I’ll just get to the point alright?

As called “Madam Prez” It’s sort of my duty to say these, to address this to everyone to maintain peace and order.... I think the thread is actually divided into two groups. Let’s say the seniors… and the newbies.

The seniors… That includes me, babyA, prettysara, peachblossomz, beiling, senorita and lots of other people. But okay, I’ll only include 3 people in my speech. Me, BabyA and prettysara. WE are part of the seniors group. We’ve been here since the peak of F4 mania. Some of us who are still active here started early June-August 2003. Personally, I’ve been lurking around August to September and finally joined October 2003. I can proudly say that is was on our batch where we started this whole TIGHTLY BONDED thread, along with the help of the Keniacs, Daoists and Zaichos. We were the active members here then. But those were the times. Not too Sadly, but absolutely honestly and in reality, we have to deal with our lives as well and not just the fanaticism here in this thread. We had school, we had work, we had other priorities. So we are actually on the lie-low mode. Where everyone is busy with their own stuff and doesn’t have much time to spend on the thread unlike what we were able to do back then. That’s why most of the people here now, aka the Newbies, doesn’t know us well.

That’s why we or now I’m saying, I, think that we ARE divided. Honestly, we can’t connect to the newbies. It is as if you guys have your own world. Yeah you talk about vann, post lots of new pics and updates, and lately have been on reminisce mode and plastered tons of old stuff, but ya know how we are feeling? We’re feeling left out. We are trying our best to keep up with the new fast-paced thread, really we are, but we are feeling our efforts are wasted and taken for granted by many. I don’t have to mention your nicknames, because you’ll know who you are when you read and understand this.

You can say this is ranting, you can say this is filled with bursting angst, but you still have to continue, I’m telling you.

Me, personally, It’s been a while since my so-called ‘Long Juan Feng’ aka Novel post. Out of respect for Lark, I’m really pretty embarrassed that I cannot keep up with my novel post character anymore because of what’s happening here. I’m not exactly accusing people, but hey, I talked and ranted about lots of stuff but NOT MANY answered me. It’s like,

“I wanna post a lot so many would answer me and then we’ll get the surge going…”

But NO! Only the Seniors people answered me. Peach, Lark… Same old people I’ve been with for the past year. And now, I dunno where to start my post again because I feel so off your topics.

If you would like to know, we weren’t like that. Everybody would have somehow answered even if it’s just a line or two. That’s how the Vann thread used to go. And that’s also the reason why the thread was so much fun. But now? It’s nothing compared to what we had before. Where did we all go wrong? I don’t know… The lost for words to say makes the seniors group disappear little by little. As if the thread is creating a sub-world we cannot understand.

Next, now, I’m not used to everyone using the posting option “quote”. Yaknow, where one has to quote what the other said and then just answer it by a word or two. I mean, Hey! What’s the sense of repeating the line your trying to answer? If you’re really a follower of the thread, you wouldn’t have to quote because you already know what you guys are talking about, AND EVERYBODY ELSE WILL CONNECT TO IT BECAUSE THEY COULD HAVE READ THEM TOO. I mean, “When 2 people are already chatting, and another wants to join in and share a thought, she’s just gonna address, ‘hey about the blah blah…. I think… I mean, Yeah, You know….’ That’s how it normally goes.” Vannanas are naturally smart to understand them that quoting wasn’t a necessity. We’d just go answer them right away.

Please don’t misunderstand. Yeah you may quote if you want, it’s just that we are probably aren’t used to that. Ako, I really hate when pictures are quoted. Lalu na pag paulit-ulit? Kasi napag-uusapan naman yan ng hindi na kailangan i-quote eh, and the conversations would go on and on until that picture’s issue dies down. Pasensya ha?!? Hindi ako naka-DSL eh, but that’s how it was. And really, it was way easier for both DSL and NON-DSL users to open the thread.

One more reminder, All the personality threads then were given warning by the mods not to flood pictures. Would you believe that we had a rule then that we cannot post more than two pictures in one post? Kaya mga pasaway pa rin ang ginagawa, two pictures per post nga, lahat nag-oopen din. We had a rule then na after two pictures of the same event, LALU NA PAG MALALAKI, we were only allowed to post the link. Para hindi overloaded ang tsinoy. Now, after all this ranting, it’s not about FORCING or FORBIDDING anyone to post pics… It’s just that, asan na ba yung rule na yon ngayon which to me and probably to everybody else would sound a little much more to appreciate the thread di ba?

I mean, come on, lalu na pag reminisce mode tayo, Kaya nga reminisce diba? We’ve seen them already. We probably all have files of them on our PC na pero, to post them up SUPER LARGE pa? I’m like, ‘What’s the sense? I’ve seen that already’ Okay, it’s anybody’s freedom to post what he/she wants right? Pero the sad thing about the thread now, magpopost nga, iquo-quote tapos kapiraso lang ang sagot?!?

That’s what disappointed me the most eh, not many ANSWERED ME OR BABYA JIE like we were expecting… It must be our fault too that we expect so much, but hey you can’t blame us, We are used to the Vann thread to be like that but it doesn’t seem that way anymore.

Take nalang the VIV-VANN issue, BabyA jie posted her long juan feng advice because she cares a lot for this thread and she doesn’t want us ALL to feel sad about such things. Well, yeah, me and babyA jie might be over the issue kaya namin nafi-feel na it’s not worth crying for anymore. Yeah we shed tears about it, too, but that’s why we are here nga eh. To cheer each other up and talk about good stuff. But what happened to her post?! NOT MANY, AGAIN, ANSWERED HER. Wala man lang masyadong feedback if you guys felt better after it, or you felt sinking deeper into $hi+. Except for some siguro, like Peachblossomz who answered in a litany as well.

I actually felt bad for her [babyA] the way she opened her speech eh. SHE HAD TO HUMBLY INTRODUCE HERSELF TO EVERYBODY AS IF WALANG NAKAKAKILALA SA KANYA. When truthfully, she is supposed to be very well known here. And her advice, na tipong milyon milyon ang halaga kapag sa psychiatrist mo hiningi eh, PARANG alang pumansin? Yeah wala nga sigurong nanghingi or nagsabi na magpost siya ng advice nya but hello? Sana man lang na-appreciate yung sinabi niya. A simple recognition man lang sana na “Hey BebeA, thanks sa advice mo, it helped me…” Or “bebeA jie, hindi ko pa rin maiwasan to feel pain…” or a simple “Thank U” might have done it eh…





Isa pa, one more matter I wanna bring up seriously… Napapansin niyo ba si Prettysara? You see her often here diba? May I ask how many times have anyone greeted her here? Like say hello man lang or appreciate her short messages of “Welcome, Huan Ying!” She is Bumper Queen for Vann’s sake, but it is as if people are taking her for granted. Wa mang Hi or Hello?!







It’s like the Seniors are talking to fellow seniors and Newbies talk to newbies. Kanya-kanyang worlds? Parang natutulad na tayo dun sa isang thread na weird… (*get what I mean seniors?!*)

I do admit my shortcomings. Not being here for quite some time now, being pre-occupied with other stuff, koreanovelas, school and a boy to be specific. Sorry, ‘coz that where my old post ended. That post is actually the second part of my then “WHIRLWIND TSWUNAMI” Post where I reminisced almost all of our posts the past years. I tried to rethink a million times what it is I’m finding in the wrong place. So I didn’t post my aches then.

But now, finally finding the issue out in the open, it turned out that NOT ONLY I felt that way, not so long ago. VANNATICS that we are, it turned out we ALL felt the same, the SENIORS to name in general. AND I CAN FEEL, ONE BY ONE THEY’LL BE FINALLY EXPRESSING THEIR FEELINGS AS WELL.

This isn’t about ranting personal aches, it’s about strengthening the bond.
INUULIT KO: THIS ISN’T ABOUT GETTING SCARED AND LIMITED TO POSTING. IT’S NOT ABOUT BEING UNDER WHOM OR WHAT GROUP. NOT ABOUT “KAMPIHAN”, NOT ABOUT WHO’S THE STRONGER GROUP. IT’S NOT ABOUT ALIENATING NEWBIES FROM THE SENIORS. IT’S NOT ABOUT NOT WELCOMING THE KENIACS, DAOISTS AND ZAICHOS FROM THE VANNATICS.

Even though we don’t talk much or post much to connect with each other WE ALL THINK THE SAME. SAME WAVELENGTHS! Vannatics are known for thinking JUST LIKE VANNESS. Each and every one has her own priorities to take care of but NEVER FORGETS ANYTHING ON THE LIST. So WE might be MIAs (*missing in action*) AT TIMES, But WE Don’t MISS A SINGLE FEELING the others have. Remember that Jian Hao doesn’t want his/F4’s fans to miss out any part of their work/responsibilities just because of the fanaticism…

To the NEWBIES, LURKERS, FOUNDER OF THE RELATED THREADS, I really wish you’d feel at home here just like how you do on your own homes. You may dominate the thread now, but I’m hoping there’d still be open doors and windows if not for doors, for US SENIORS to climb on and reach the warmth of the inside. I’m wishing that when we enter we won’t be lizards or mice that would be ignored even though you welcomed us for co-habiting. Vannatics are very much known for being ONE and being TIGHT. I don’t intend to ruin that image right now and not anytime soon. I don’t mind if you guys won’t be able to remember us AS MUCH AS WE ARE EXPECTING, but I do wish nalang u keep us in your hearts, too. Then we'd all be happy. Compromise, and grant some simple requests.

AS for the sisterhood, I couldn’t have said it better than BabyA jie. This isn’t about KNOWING VANNESS as much as the other fans know him. It’s about being true to the DIVINE Sisterhood of knowing one another through a good medium: Vanness.

I am deeply wounded by how you reacted to me in the Vann-Viv thread. How in the world can you have done that to someone who is part of a family that gladly accepted you into their home? People have shortcomings and mistakes. I know a part of what I said is a mistake. But that’s how I am. I am Imperfect. Where is the true acceptance (of who someone is) now just like the one I/WE gave you when you came in here and became part of us? I’m not making you feel guilty, I’m not asking/forcing you to make an apology for I respect what you want to say. You don't have to do anything about it. It's done. And it's nothing to what the sum total of feelings are right now. It’s just that my question is: where was that respect for me?

Not being TOO MUCH OF A BIGHEAD AND ALL, But as far as how my sisters have reacted to it. I’M MORE HURT SEEING THEM UNABLE TO TAKE WHAT A CONSIDERED SISTER HAD SAID TO ME THAN BE HURT READING WITH MY OWN EYES WHAT WAS INTENDED TO BE MINE. So, BabyA jie, Crookz Jie, Prettysara Jie. Here's what I can say about this issue:

As other Vannanas mentioned on their respective post (boon mei, thanks sa support, maasahan ka talaga :) ) this isn't about whose being under with whom or with what group. It’s about making this thread homey, like it used to be. Call this broadcasting event of posting our sentiments but i just can’t simply ignore what's happening and i don’t want to see anybody here being hurt.

I treasure this thread very much; I am one of those few people who were lucky enough to met wonderful people. This thread had so many stories to tell. It has been my comforting shell whenever i want to detached myself from work and other personal problems. This thread propagated strong knot, not only to those who are pure Vann fan but to those half like sisters. I can’t bear to see that the efforts exerted here by Vannatics would go into waste.


Sayang kung ang mga newbies and seniors ay hindi magiging magkakakilala. Hindi natin malalaman kung anu-anu ang mami-missed natin. Malay nyo, may cute soul pa dyan sa tabi tabi na naghihintay lng ng pag welcome. Hope naiintindihan nyo ako.

Since there’s a threat of martial law being declared here, I better say my piece now.





As I was saying, I was trying to understand the issues. It appears this was all triggered by a discourse in a related thread and unfortunately the so called newbies and a few so called seniors were “damay”



I really find it a no- issue, newbies having fun among themselves talking about Vann. Everybody could join in as was done by some seniors who blended well with the newcomers. It’s really a choice to make and having time to post or chat or merely greeting others is a factor too. I’m more than a 6month old newbie.I don’t really care about the labels. What I care about is I’m a Vann lover and I love spreading Vannews. I’m more of a poster than a chatter. Some are born the other way around.. Some just love to drop by. Others are content to lurk. Some make reposts for some valid reasons: missing Vann when there’s not much fresh news about him or recapturing together the good old past, or simply just to get the thread moving. Others feel a need to quote to make sure their replies are addressed to the specific or correct person asking info considering that most questioning and answering are done hours apart unlike in a more spontaneous face to face conversation .Yes, people are different .We should have some allowances and flexibilities



Rest assured there is not a bit of intention to takeover the thread.. As recent developments show a few have taken leaves.

doubleVs… I think I should tell you a little background on this thread.


This thread was created sometime around August 2003. Vannatics have come and gone, some have moved on, pero yung ibang mga Vannatics dito have been around up to the present since the creation of this thread… daynuh jie, prettysara jie, vanness jie, and me, just to name a few. Well, time went by and pretty soon, hindi lang si Vanness ang nakilala namin ng mabuti. We got to find out more about each other as well. In simpler terms… NAGKARON KAMI NG BOND. We made great friendships. Kaya nga SISTERHOOD eh. We treated each other as real sisters, and not just Vanness fans. Actually, gusto naming pasalamatan si Vanness because if it weren’t for him… Walang Vannatics.



…AND THAT’S WHAT WE’RE ASKING FROM YOU AND THE REST OF THE NEWBIES AS WELL. TO TREAT US LIKE REAL SISTERS, AND NOT TO IGNORE US. Because this isn’t just a thread. This is our HOME. That’s the reason why we say ‘Hi’ to everyone in this thread.

hi all-

though i have not been posting, i've read through everything that's been happening in the past few days. i know i've been a bit sparse in posting, but that is simply because i was not really sure of what to say, if my opinion would hurt the thread more. however, i've decided to just post my thoughts on this, because i would really like for the thread to just get past this roadblock.

i didn't know what to say, how to respond to the conflicts that have built up earlier -- but honestly i think that its just many little misunderstanding ... innocent ones. and i would really hate for people to leave the thread because of it. i do not think that the newbies were at all deliberately trying to make the seniors feel out of place-- all i know is that when i joined this thread, i joined because i was amazed at how alive, friendly, and bubbly everybody was- how recent the news on vanness was, and how there is such a great community of girls that share in the same interest as me. i didn't realize something like this would happen from some seemingly innocent posts that i and other newbies made.

when i began posting, i wasn't aware that greeting every single person who is a part of the thread is what was expected- or wanted. the reason why i opted out of that is out of fear that i would leave somebody out by accident. ...such as the people who are a part of the thread but who haven't come by lately, people who used to be very active but lately were really busy, or just people i wouldn't be aware of unless i went to, say, page 25 of the thread. while i respect the people who have built this thread and who are seniors here, i didn't realize that there were "rules" and that seniority dominated- i thought of the thread more of a bunch of girls sharing in a common interest.

at the time when i joined, perhaps the newbies were just a lot more active at that specific moment. when i posted and only mentioned a specific set of people that i talked to on YM that day, i didn't mean to make anyone feel out of place. that was not my intention at all - i was just simply trying to express my joy at being able to find fellow vanness lovers. i'm here to enjoy vanness and to read recent articles about him, maybe converse with people on the side... making friends was great too. if you are upset because i didn't say hi to you when i joined or because i was a part of that newbie scene that made u feel out of place, i apologize. i don't want anybody to leave this thread because of what happened-- i do not think it was intentional on anyone's parts, and i hope that soon this issue will be resolved.

and with that, i am glad that i have met the people i have through this thread, and i hope to meet more cool awesome people. to the seniors, thank you for building a great community-- but i hope that you will accept us newbies as is, that newbies, seniors, and passerbys alike can settle on a good medium... that we can all come to terms with each other. and that we can grow to just have fun sharing our adoration for our amazing vanness.

let me tell this story....early this week as i was busy minding my own business (read crazily trying to catch up on work despite putting in twelve hours daily plus holidays), i suddenly overheard auditor A whispering to auditor B, "look, vanness ang wallpaper niya" this brought an involuntary smile to my face although syempre deadma lang ako - busy nga eh. aba, after an hour, they came back and auditor B gathered enough courage to ask, "ma'am xxxx, may iba pa ba kayong wallpaper ni vanness" natural kinilig ako sabay abot, as in instant and presto, ng diskette containing vann's recent pepsi blue-hair look. even our batang-batang mokong na officemate couldn't resist making kantiyaw to me and my officemate, who of course is a vann fanatic as well, dumadami ang tribo ninyo! soon thereafter, my officemate borrowed the same diskette, which i had to ask back from the auditor, and replaced her winnie-the-pooh wallpaper with what else! this delighted me coz medyo lie low din siya ever since may nakitang bagong papa!

recently, i posted a screencap from vann's my friend mv. i was feeling cocky pa nga, "ha!" i thought, "naka-post din ako, no matter that the pic was old so long as it expressed my sentiments...." then this evening, as i was editing some calling cards for one of my bosses, i thought to drop by tsinoy and was truly saddened by what i read -

di po namin ininfluence yung mga tao...we just wanted to meet new friends...di po namin kayo binabackstab or anything...basta laman lang ng conversation namin ay halos si vanness...

A sunny person.

He got along very well with the staff and was a mood maker lightening up the scene.
And he is an athletically active type of artist.

There is a robot for children on the small playground at the Tokyo tower. It is too small for an adult to get inside the small robot. He insisted on getting inside with his big body of 180 cm and smiled smugly. Later on, Jerry had to rescue him.

He moved constantly, the photographer was exhausted chasing after him.

Taiwanese band F4 succeed in opening their Japanese market. Starting
3 days ago, a F4 Film Festival is held in Japan for more than a
month. Other than showing Jerry Yan's "Magic Kitchen", Vanness
Wu's "Star Runner" and Ken Chu's "Sky of Love", their first Taiwan
concert "Music Party" will also be broadcast. F4's Japanese
Pictorial album "F4@Tokyo" will soon be released on July 21. Each
album is selling (Japanese dollar) $4,515 yen (about HK$325). The
responses are extremely good. So far, pre-orders received from Japan
and China have exceed 10,000.
