Welcome to Miami~

Never thought I'd be getting fans from Miami hittin me up~ Thanks for all the love and support, God is good y'all~!

Funny, my only experience of Florida was a really fun time at Disneyworld, and a really bad sunburn at the water park when I was a little tubby boi~

Only thing to say is that I'm in Japan right now, in the hotel room, with the hotel towel wrapped around my waist, thinking whether or not I should paste/post pictures from before, thought once then twice then it became a bore, so instead, I'm just going to let my fingers scramble, words ramble, my mind's example of pure boredom to write just to write, with no insight or meaning. Simple random...can't even fathom who would even want to read this anthem of nothing, nothing of nothing,
but still something...no not likely.

His dance OK la....but a bit nervious during the begining....

First F4 Concert

We had gotten back to the hotel the night before at around 3am, and had to be downstairs the next morning at 9am.. So needless to say we we're all crazy tired.



Got to the arena at 10am, and did a full dress rehearsal until 1pm. Then had lunch, and seperate rehearsals for the rest of the day. Finished around 6, changed into our 1st set outfit. Then at 7, showtime..


And our first show was WAY better than our rehearsals. I love it when it works out like that. It proves that all our hard work is paying off.


I'm curious to see what the press said about Van's part of the show. I felt like it was incredible. One of the best shows I've ever been a part of. But I wonder if the Japanese audience feels the same way..


I'll post some pictures when I get my computer from off the stage.. I always keep it on stage so I can Skype my parents while we're performing.

bukod sa fans and family very supportive ng friends niya. ang tagal din nila mag stay sa japan. paano kya compensation arrangements nila .curious lang ako. gratis ? hindi siguro, matagal sila doon at 7 shows.si vanness kaya magbayad sa kanila ?

just got off the phone with my dear friend jme whose in japan right now...

super ganda daw ng concert, astig yung paglabas nila sa balloon sa opening hirap daw indescribe paano nila ginawa at saan lumabas f4 in 4 different areas sa stage...

of course Van Ness' solo was great...singing with GABE & his band and performing new songs na dun pa lang narinig ng mga fans... nice din yung Mama acapella...

being a ken & wuchu fan, jme loved wo bu shi f4 lalo na ang never let you go, lalo na yung last part where Van Ness & Ken played the guitar...

tapos they sang show me your love na para daw silang nagdadance revo....hahaha

super sulit daw yung show which lasted almost 4 hrs

Sing Tao Daily -outside the concert venue, nearly 100 huge baskets sent from all over the world by F4 fans were placed to congratulate them. With regards to the most numbers sent, Jerry Yan had the most, but the most innovative was Vanness Wu's Fans. They had 2 portraits of their idol, a giant cartoon version of Vanness , which was very very eye-catching.


In addition, Zai Zai and Zhu Xiaotian had also alot of flowers, among them are sent from "friends of Zai Zai and Da S" . As there were more than 10,000 Fans who watched, organizers took special measures to enhance security and to prevent taking videos, the audiences must open their bags for checking before admission.

...What to say? AMAZING! Just a yoyful concert. Yes, full of joy. Everybody was happy, relaxed and excited at the same time. There was a sense of joy in all people. I think it has to do with the fact that Van Ness does pray loudly before starting singing and he blesses everybody before and after. It is a fact I heard it.......


here was half of the AnD community on stage with Van Ness. Of course the best star introduction was reserved to Terry Lee. He sang with Van Ness, and he stayed on stage with him. He got at least a couple of "primo piano", big screen camera pointed at him. He sat on the opposite wings and sang. I am not sure but I think Gabriel Lee sang a rap for Van Ness while he was dancing. Well, it is true that Van Ness does promote artists and give a place to other artists on his stage. One more note: Van Ness does dance and sing really good . He was very good and professional . High Quality performance. He know his job

Next song was from Meteor Garden, then Vanness' 2 songs and in the 2nd song, he removed his singlet (sando) and boy! he got a very good sculpted body, on all sides his waistline was small, so curvaceous one might think it's a female waist and is abs and biceps are well-developed, much to the delight of the Japanese fans (of course it's much well-appreciated) and not only that, he can dance moonwalk sideways, he's really greater more now in his dancing prowess......

Ni Shi Wo Wei Yi De Zhi Zuo (Zai + Jerry) zai appeared on centre stage with doctor's rope with group of nurses. then jerry appeared from the side stage and attracted the nurses to his side. zai looked sad, then Ken n Vann appeared to comfort. In the end, Jerry and Zai rested their heads towards each other. kawaii~~~

7 Oct: Zai used the to listen to Jerry`s heartbeat with the stethoscope. In return, Jerry gave Zai a stalk of pink flower, hold his face and acted as though to kiss him. Zai happily placed the flower in his front pocket

Summarization of the what happened to F4 @ the concert:

the Tokyo Nippon Budokan F4 held their 1st concert in Tokyo with a lot of unexpected accidents happened to them.

1st is THE TAI CHI MASTER_ Zhu Xiao Tian fell off from the stage
@ rehearsal 2 hours prior the beginning of the concert.
Due to the change of the stage Ken did not realize
there were steps when they finished the singing.
He walked backwards then fell down to the steps.
@ 1st he thought he dislocated his right shoulder.
He was asking to put it back on the site.
He was send to the hospital in Chiyoda.
After X-ray exam the injury was found to be just pulled muscles.
Thank God no bones was broken.....
Ken only took some pain medication and rushed back
to the venue to start the concert on time.

2nd, 40 minutes into the concert
while ZaiZai singing his solo song"Mask_Ma Sai Ke"
The raising stage got stuck in the middle of the performance.
ZaiZai finished his performance without showing any sign of been disturbed by what was going on.
The organizer announced need to stopped the show
in order to fix the mechanical problem of the stage.
After about 8~10 minutes the problem was solved.
ZaiZai did another complete version of "Mask" all over again.
On the stage he can't help
but laughed quietly during his 2nd time of singing "Mask"

3rd is Jerry tripped down the stairs when he walked down from the stage @ 1st Encore.
But he did not get hurt.
And he asked the audience pay more attention to Ken's injury.

VanNess is the only one finished the concert
without anything unexpected happened to him.

ZZ : The personality of all four of us, is like how we were introduced on the video – East, North, West, South. (super love ZZ’s cute pointing action here). Many varied personalities. And it is also because of this that when we get together, we are able to exude out each of our different development and action to match the fans who like us (sytwo : Hope I got this last part right. ZZ’s words a bit tough for me.)

Towards the end, when F4 came in from their last encore, I like how ZZ was doing the “thumbs-up” sign over Jerry, Ken and Vanness to praise their performance. Ken then said that he is very high and excited and probably can’t sleep that night. Jerry said that he has look forward to this for a long time and have been thinking how great if they can hold a concert here. Now this dream has been fulfilled. Then all four of them gave their last greetings to the audience (Super duper Cute!! They were all so HIGH! ).

Van Ness is THE most professional artist I've ever worked with in my career. I hope this don't offend anyone cause it don't mean you are not professional. Differences in Osaka 17th show from Yokohama & Tokyo:

- during entrance to concert hall, each audience were given a round paper, supposed to hold up when Zai sing Wherever U are
- During 1st F4 segment, they did not change to the gold color outfits.

- When left with Vann on stage, after singing So Ba Ni I Ru Ne, he took off his top & tore off his pants and showed the gold pants.

- After Ken's 1st segment, he said "obviously my arm is okay now". And he heard from i-ken that 1 of his fan had to go for operation but will come for Osaka concert. He asked the audience to clap and encourage her.

- Vann told the audience: "when i say O, u say Saka"

- Ji Yi Pin Tu: Jerry was disguised in pink bunny outfit - 5 animals appeared on stage instead of the usual 4. Jerry was pushed down and his bunny head fell off, revealing it is Jerry. After walking 1/2 of the stage, bunny costume was tore off and Jerry was in a red suit.

- During Qing Fei De Yi, Zai tried to kiss Ken again but Ken strongly resisted.

- For Love Love wave, left with Jerry and Zai to play again. And the conversation btw both of them was so funny... Jerry didn't say start when he signalled to begin the wave, Zai said Jerry does not follow the procedure ("cheng xu" in mandarin), Jerry followed by saying: Yes, I am Yan Cheng Xu.

Ho, Wu to voice HD toon 'LaMB'
Actors to provide both English, Chinese dubs

Singer-actress Josie Ho and Taiwan singer-actor Van Ness Wu are to star as voice actors in "LaMB," the first original high-definition animation production for Sony's Animax Asia.

"LaMB" is a future-set actioner in a prison camp where high-tech suits keep prisoners restrained but productive.

In production at Singapore animation studio Peach Blossom Media and concept arthouse Imaginary Friends Studios, "LaMB" is directed by Ryosuke Tei, with storyboards by Yasufumi Soejima. It will be released in 2009 on TV, online and mobile platforms.

Wu, part of the hit Mandopop band F4, previously starred in "Meteor Garden," the live-action TV series adaptation of bestselling female-skewed manga comic "Boys Over Flowers."

He will provide English and Mandarin dubs for the lead male protagonist, while Ho ("Exiled"), voices a villain in English and Cantonese. She previously provided Cantonese voices for "The Simpsons Movie" and "Kung Fu Panda."

19 Oct - F4 Forever!

Overall - today's last show is the BEST of all 7, a number of surprises, the guys performances and fan's participation and today's seat was quite good.

- Before singing La La La, Ken said today's the last show, u got to enjoy it.

- After Vann's 1st solo segment, he took a bottle of red wine and drank a few gulps.

- Ji Yi Pin Tu, Jerry was in lion costume today instead. And an uncle was chosen on stage. The uncle was holding a Jerry fan. When Jerry saw the uncle on stage, he said: "eh... nani... ojisan?", laughed and brought the uncle around the centre stage.
Then gave the uncle a Hello Kitty soft toy.

- Zai introduced that Director Cai was present today, calling him "Cai Tou"

- As usual, Jerry and Vic played Love Love Wave with audience, zai asked the audience, "Jerry kakkoi (handsome�jdesu ka" and Jerry asked "zai kawaii desu ka" and zai made a kawaii face. today Zai was high and ran around the centre stage following the flow of the wave. After a few rounds , he said tsukareta (tired) and stopped the wave.

- After singing 1 metre, Jerry spoke few sentences in Japanese, thanked and bowed the audience.
Jerry's performance today can be considered his best compared to other 6 songs.

Thank u message:
Ken (spoke in Mandarin): Today's the last show, after today don't know when will be the next time F4 will reunite. I wish the other 3 to have their own successful path and I believe the next time when we reunite, each person will have their own genuine "sky".

Zai (in Japanese and Mandarin): .... thank u, I would like to thank my 3 other frens. Thank u...

Vann (in English): thank u Jesus, thank u lord... other F3... everybody present... his family and frens. He ended saying "F4 Forever"

Jerry (in Mandarin): .... In my heart, the other 3 are the best brothers. No matter what happened before, we are the best. Thank u Ken, thank u Vanness, thank u Zaizai

Ending of U are my only persistance, Jerry held Zai's head and turned him in circles.

During Ai Bu Hui Yi Zhi Deng Ni, Vann suddenly disappeared and when he re-appeared on stage to lead the audience to wave the F4 flash light to the beat, he was dressed juz like the person in the below pic:

After that he threw the hair, shirt, sunglasses.. to the audience.

During Liu Xing Yu, most of the audience waved blue lighsticks as planned. it was a beautiful sight...

At 2nd encore, when F4 came out to thank the crew and waved goodbye, fans held up pink/red paper flower. and F4 was caught by surprise.

Fans refused to leave and kept shouting for F4. But that was the end. Had to leave the hall unwillingly when repeated annoucements that there will not have any more encore.

Vanness Wu and manager look alike; fans go crazy, Thursday October 23, 2008 Taiwan
Vanness Wu's manager Lan Jun Tian who has superstar looks, looks almost exactly like him. Recently F4 was in Japan holding a concert, and Vanness arranged a 'reflection' trick that let japanese fans see how similar the two of them look. For only a few minutes, Vanness manager got a taste of being famous - when he got down the stage, he got mobbed by about 200 fans.

Lan Jun Tian is a boss of a Hong Kong company, but he followed his good friend Vanness Wu to build a music company, he himself is moving towards the entertainment circle. When Vanness and the other F3 were in Japan to hold a concert, Lan Jun Tian came along as well, even going upstage with Vanness to perform a mirror reflection trick - two identical people jumped out from a mirror, the effect was marvelous. Backstage, the two of them agreed that one would leave long hair, the other short, to show a difference.

Lan Jun Tian revealed that while organising, he already asked Vanness to think of an idea to let him go on stage, later on they would use the mirror trick, having stage effects and bringing out Vanness's dance team. This also had the effect of letting him be mobbed by Vanness's fans.

What is F4? What does that mean.....Well to some people...nothing.....to others...a boy band....
that's right mofo~! I said it....a F*KIN BOY BAND~!

A Boy band that has lasted for over 7 years, with some people, some...not all....saying over and over that, we wouldn't, we couldn't, and WTF...are they really....STILL????

Well....to all the people talking smack.......I could talk back with negative remarks....but I won't. It's not needed...for our track record speaks for itself...and honestly.....we've just been doin "us".

Vanness Wu to voice Animax film

MANILA, Philippines - Taiwanese-American superstar Vanness Wu of the pop group F4 has agreed to lend his voice to an Animax full-length animated movie based on the script written by Carmelo S.J. Juinio, a Filipino, Inquirer Entertainment learned.

“LaMB” is the first-ever animated movie to be produced under the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and SPE Networks-Asia Joint Production Fund. It will premiere on the Japanese animé TV network Animax across Asia early 2009.

Award-winning actress and singer Josie Ho, daughter of casino tycoon Stanley Ho, is also on board as voice actor for the villainess Keiko Suzuki. She will dub the movie in English and Cantonese.

Wu will dub in English and Mandarin for the protagonist Jack Griswold, according to a statement sent by Animax to the Inquirer.

“LaMB” follows protagonists Jack and Eve’s struggle against planet Cerra’s ‘Lamination’ system of imprisonment, where criminals called ‘LaMBs’ are kept in laminated suits to remain productive but not free members of society.

Eve is an ex-scientist convicted of murder during an experiment gone wrong. Jack is a visiting scientist immersing himself in work to get over his wife’s death.

Eventually, he gets pulled into the political system of ‘Lamination’ and a romance with Eve ensues.

“LaMB” is based on the work that fist-time scriptwriter Juinio submitted to the Animax Pan-Asia scriptwriting contest in Japan last year.

He lost to Hayato Takamaga (Japan, “Takane no Jitensha”). Over 3,000 entries were submitted.

“It’s great that Animax has asked Vanness, who is popular in Taiwan, to join the project. This will bring in not only animé fans but enthusiasts of Taiwan drama,” Juinio told the Inquirer on Tuesday.

This is Wu’s first venture into acting for animation.

“I am very excited about my involvement here. This is like reaching out to Asian youths in a big way,” said Wu. “Jack is a very complex character with many facets and strong emotions. I am looking forward to meeting the challenges to bring him to life.”

Ho had also worked as voice talent of the Asian versions of the Hollywood animated movies “The Simpsons” (2007) and “Kung Fu Panda” (2008).

“Being always on the lookout for edgy and unusual acting roles, I am thrilled to take on the role of Keiko, which offers me room to be creative and expressive,” said Ho.

A whopping $6 million is allotted to produce “LaMB.” It will be showcased on “three screen-TV, online and mobile,” a campaign that is expected to run for six months, the statement said.

I'm very grateful for both these opportunities...it's a first for me on both occasions. It's actually quite amusing how this all came to be....

Time: 2 weeks before I was heading to Tokyo to prepare for the concert I received a phone call from a co-worker asking if I was interested in opening for Kanye West...I jumped at the chance...So I told them I would, the orginal concert date was mid Sept. where my rehearsals for the concert time was running short as is. But this is the man who wrote "Jesus Walks".........nuff said people...well he also wrote some other songs that weren't too shabby...I jest~! the man is one creation sensation with an endless imgination.Looking back now...I was cutting it pretty close...but I thought I was able to handle it....

But then there were some complications on the date, and the concert was pushed back. God knows all......he really does......this was his way of telling me that I needed more time...and I am cutting it close....looking back...he was right...i was. God's grace~

So the concert was postponed till further notice. Days later, I was asked by my Pastor, Jon, if I would be interested in performing at a crusade on Nov. 1....now I've never done this...so I was a bit nervous at first...for some reason it felt like a lot of reposibility...but something in my heart said..."do it"...so...I did.

Few days later after I had alrady agreed to the date of Nov.1 I received a phone call....this phone call told me that Kanye's concert has a new date now....(que dramatic music) the dates are...Nov.1 in B.J. and Nov.3 in S.H...... WTF???........and it started off as such a wonderful morning too..........I told them that I had to get back to them...man this really suck'd ballz....I even called my pastor and asked him what I should do? I didn't want to upset God......he told me God wasn't going to be mad and whatever my decision is, it's all good. God understands...and it's all Love.

So I thought about it and thought about it....even asked God about it........."Why!?!" "why is this happening, I thought this opportunity was given to me from you"......but, I already knew the answer..............I just needed a little time to realise it..........I realised that no matter how I spin it.......if was performing at the Kanye West Concert instead of the Crusade. That no matter how much I said that this is for God etc etc.......I'd be lying...I would really have been performing for myself...my own pride...my own ego........I have to put him before everything....that's just how it is................and how it is............it's Awesolicious~! Trust onto him......

I told them that I wasn't able to perform on the 1st because of my prior commitment to the Crusade, but I would still really loved to perform on the 3rd.................they told me they had to get back to me, because originally they had planned to have same performers on the 1st and 3rd. More sensable, I concurr.

I left it at that and told myself to just pray about it...so it did....I said to God " God...I'm not going to worry or think about this anymore...for what ever happens, happens. Alll I need is your Love, and I'm all good." Trust onto him...

And by God's grace...few days later...they called back and agreed to the date.........and to top it all off....the group that's performing on the 1st is none other than my Home-town homeboys MACHI!!!

So to re-cap...

I'm performing at the Franklin Graham Festival in Taipei Taiwan...it's my first time to ever do this...God I pray you humble me...take away my pride....let me be me for you....to serve you for your purpose and your purpose only. Lord.in your name..Amen....

Kanye slot has Wu jumping

Vanness Wu -- one member of the boy band F4, will open at Kanye West's "Glow In The Dark" concert in Shanghai on Monday.

Wu told media that he felt extremely flattered by the invitation.

"I was so excited I jumped in the air when I heard the news," he said.

Wu said he had long admired West and had been to two of his concerts in Hong Kong.

"Kanye West is always surprising audiences. He's filled with passion and endless creativity," Wu said.

The two hip-hop stars will talk about singing together in Chinese and English as soon as West reaches Shanghai.

Wu said he would play new songs and also perform his old songs in new ways.

Inthe Philippines alone, he became a household name as a member of theAsian boy band F4 whose TV series " Meteor Garden " and Meteor Rain"became phenomenal hits as their shows invaded nationwide Pinoy TV.

Whilein Asia, the Taiwanese-American artist is also a recording star as wellas a movie actor whose most recent movie was "The Three Kingdoms:Ressurection of the Dragon." There’s more to expect from Van Ness Wu ashe is working on a number of projects and one of them "LaMB," AnimaxAsia’s first multimedia, multiplatform (for online, mobile andtelevision) and HD original animation production.

Ina phone interview with select members of the Asian press, Vanness saidhe didn’t know how he was chosen to be a part of a big Asian animatedproject like "LaMB" but is nonetheless pleased he was cast. Fortunatelyfor him they were looking for someone who could speak fluent Englishand Mandarin because "LaMB" is going to be dubbed in those languagesamong other versions.

"I’m just very grateful itfell on my lap...when they approached and asked me about it, I waslooking at the artwork and I was looking at the story and I decided itwas a great project to climb on board. It was such a big animationproject," explained the actor who was handpicked for the role.

Hissecond time in voice acting in "LaMB," it is also his first voiceacting in English. So how different is voice acting from regular acting?

"Well,you don’t have to worry about camera angles as much because there’s nocamera," he kidded on the phone. "Sometimes the simple lines like Ilike to get a cup of water. You have to do a couple more takes just toget the proper effect because it is animation. Some of the simple throwaway lines instead you have to be a little bit more specific in the wayyou say it."

He added that one of the biggestchallenges for voice acting was that the artwork was not yet finishedwhen he started dubbing for it.

"There were noactors or actresses that were picked at that time. So pretty much theonly other sound I was hearing was from the vocal producer at the otherroom. She really helped me get into the character and helped get me getmore details of what’s going on the room and things going around andGod Bless her for being so professional," he said.

VannessWu plays Dr. Jack Grisworld. "LaMB" is about the protagonists Jack andEve’s struggle against planet Cerra’s Lamination system of imprisonment— criminals called LaMBs are kept in laminated suits to remainproductive. Yet they remain imprisoned inside their laminated suits.Eve is an ex-scientist serving her sentence in the suit havingaccidentally taken innocent lives in an experiment gone wrong, whileJack is a visiting scientist immersing himself in work to forget hisdead wife. Inadvertently, Jack gets pulled into the political system ofLamination and a romance with Eve.

So does he relate to his character being a pop star or a matinee idol?

Vanness Wu could actually relate to his character since he considers himself, like Dr. Grisworld, a nerd.

Heexpounded, "Growing up, me and my cousins, my cousin is like a bigcomputer engineer guy and we are all into animation and the geekystuffs that some might say but I find it very cool. I was able torelate with him a little bit and I kinda got my cousin’s personality inmy cartoon character."

Though he could notdescribe how he would like himself interpreted if he was an animécharacter, he is simply thrilled to be working in "LaMB."

"Iam very excited about my involvement in Animax’s inaugural animationproduction as it looks set to reach out to Asian youths in a big wayacross multiple media platforms. Jack is a very complex character withmany facets and strong emotions, and I am looking forward to meetingthe challenges to bring him to life in LaMB," said Vanness Wu in aninterview with Animax.

Directed by Ryosuke Tei,from the storyboards Yasufumi Soejima, "LaMB" is slated for a 2009opening. Other international artists involved in "LaMB" are Canadianpop punk band Simple Plan and American rock band The Click Five. Theformer’s "I Can Wait Forever" is the show’s title track.

When asked who is Vanness Wu’s favorite cartoon character, he mentioned a lot but what came to mind was Naruto.

"Because of his heart. He has a great big heart and he believes in something hedreams and he pursues and goes after that no matter what and he doesn’tlet anyone stand on his way," he concluded.

Vanness Wu's long-awaited challenge

Taiwanese heartthrob Vanness Wu's dream has come true with his new role, lending his baritone voice to an animated character in the soon to be released Animax Asia flick, LaMB.

"I've wanted to have a part in an animated film for so long. I love the feeling of creating something beyond your imagination.

"Up till now the closest experience I have had was singing on the soundtrack for Walt Disney's Lilo's & Stitch with F4 and dubbing Pixar Studio's animation Cars in Chinese. But now I can fulfill my dream by filling the voice of Dr Jake Griswold in English," Wu told The Jakarta Post in an exclusive teleconference Tuesday.

Wu is loved and remembered by fans here mostly for his role as Mai Zuo in Meteor Garden, the melancholy drama of friendship between four rich boys, which screened on local television in 2001.

A huge fan of anime, Wu said he did not want to waste the opportunity to do a voice-over when it first came to him.

"I'm a big fan of animation. I love watching Naruto, Astro Boy, Dragon Ball, Akira, Ghostbusters, Robotech, Evangelion and other anime. And I really enjoy Finding Nemo for it's funny and touching story. That's why I am so excited to be involved in LaMB."

Wu, who has released solo albums - including Body Will Sing (2002) and V.Dubb (2007) - and collaborated with international pop artists such as Beyonce Knowles, Coco Lee and Wang Lee Hoom, spent a lot of time practicing with his vocal coach to be able to deliver Jake's voice perfectly.

"Doing an animated character's voice is so different than singing or acting. There's no camera around you to capture your emotion, so you must be able to deliver your character's emotion through your voice.

"And sometimes, whether you like it or not, your body instantly follows the lines you say for the character," said Wu who also starred in the latest Daniel Lee's movie,

Three Kingdoms: Resurrection of the Dragons, with Mandarin famous actors and actress Andy Lau, Sammo Hung and Maggie Q.

"The producer and team from Animax are very good at their job. It makes it easier for me to be in Jake's complicated character."

The main character of LaMB, Dr Jake Griswold, is well-known for being a genius. But after the unexpected death of his wife, the characters starts to breakdown.

This sci-fi anime tells a story of Dr Jake Griswold (Wu) and Keiko Suzuki (Josie Ho), who become prisoners on planet Cerra. Dr Jake is sentenced to prison for losing his mind after the death of his wife. And Keiko is accused of committing multiple murders due to failed laboratory research.

The next thing we know, they are sent to Planet Cerra for an unlimited time.

In this place, all prisoners must use specialized laminated uniforms with shields, which limits their ability to socialize. That's why these prisoners are called LaMB, shorthand for Lamination process. The story depicts the relationship between Dr Jake and Keiko and their struggle to survive.

LaMB is the newest production from Animax Asia, a specialized teen channel from Japan that only screens animation and anime.

"Animax Asia is very proud to have Wu and Josie Hoe as part of the cast of LaMB, which I believe will attract a young audience.

"Launching LaMB in this region with different languages was the reason we chose to involve these two Asian stars in the project," Gregory Ho, Animax Asia vice president and general manager, said.

The projected started in 2007, with Camelo Junio winning a Animax Award for his script. LaMB is the first animation project funded by the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB) and SPE NetworksAsia. It has a US$6 million budget.

LaMB, directed by Ryosuke Tei, is currently in production at Peach Blossom Studio Media with the artistic concepts being handled by Imaginary Friends Studio.

The anime is set to be released at the end of this year. But in the meantime, Wu's fans should not be discouraged as he remains to be seen.

"This November I will open for Kanye West performance in Shanghai and then I will do some collaboration project in Taipei with Christian Crusade," he said.

And what about a career in animation in the future?

"I definitely will do some more because I love making funny voices, especially crazy voices; high and low voices.

"It would be very exciting and challenging for me to do it all over again."
