The success of F4 included F4 World Exhibition Tokyo which achieved the interest and was praised very much. The F4 World Exhibition was formally open since April 29, 2005.

On April 28, there was the press conference and interview which was attended by Ken Chu and Rainie Yang ,the couple leaders of the Meteor Garden drama.

Host : First of all, would you mind greeting to everyone, please?

Ken : Hello everybody. (Da Jia Hao). I’m Ken...Ken..F4. I’m very glad for attending in this event. At this present,we all are so busy, especially before this time (we were so busy). I feel thankful to everyone for coming here today. I hope that everyone would see the Meteor Garden Exhibition . Thank U.

Rainie : Hello Everybody (Da Jia Hao). I’m Yang Cheng Lin. Because of ‘Meteor Garden’, I come to Japan this time. I feel so good and very happy to meet U all. I hope that I would meet everyone again. Thank U.

Host : Is this first time that you come to Osaka?

Ken : Yeah,this is first time that I come here (Osaka). GuanXi too. (GuanXi=Ken’s Manager??)

Rainie : (replying in Japanese). When I came to Japan at first time, I like Tokyo. Anyway, coming to Osaka this time, I like it and feel very delighted.

Host : What is your impression on Japan?

Ken : Even this time isn’t my first time coming to Japan. But I still feel very impressed with Japan about the cleanness and tidiness of the city...and the gentleness of the people here. I feel that the people in Osaka have the good temperament/disposition. Because of work , this time, I am able to come to Japan. And it made me know/meet a lot of people. I feel so excited. Because Japanese people have the proficient skills in thier work very much until they are widely praised. So working here is my luck.

Rainie : This time isn’t my first time coming to Japan too. Recently, I came here for shopping and eating the delicious food. I’m very impressed with Japan. I feel that Japanese fashion is very cute. The buildings are very gorgeous/beautiful. The weather is
clean. There are many good things here. So i hope if I grows old, I will have a chance to stay here. I came to Japan very often. And every time , I felt that the people here are so cute . So do this time. I feel that people here are more cute.

Host : What U would like to tell to Japanese people who are learning/studying in Chinese language now?

Ken : The culture in each area of China always make the impression and attraction on the visitors. I’m very proud to be Chinese. When I am in Japan, I can see our TV’s brand and hear that people here are learning/studying in Chinese language; I’m very glad. Chinese language isn’t difficult. Jia You ba.

Rainie : Knowing that Japanese learn/study in Chinese language, I’m so glad. Since 5-6 yrs ago, Taiwanese who learn/study in Japanese language have been increased. I wanna study in Japanese too. I think that learning in language make us learning and understanding the culture of each country . If we can learn (and understand) each other, there would be the friendship between Taiwanese and Japanese
people.

Host : What did U both receive/get from working together in Meteor Garden series?

Ken : Meteor Garden enabled me to meet/know Yang Cheng Lin. (laugh,giggle ^o^^o^) We did work together for 3-4 times. I feel good very much. Yang Cheng Lin is like my sister. Having her together with me , make me felt very good and happy . Meteor Garden shooting in Japan achieved the high response. I feel very glad.


Rainie : Receiving praise from Ken make me very glad. I’m very glad to meet/know Ken. Meteor Garden was my first performance. I felt sonervous. But meeting/knowing Ken make me relieved. We
work together for 3-4 times. I think, in every time of filming in each scene, we have got the development. Meteor Rain is the Special episode of Meteor Garden which presents the special relationship
between the two persons. Ken had a role as Ximen. But in Meteor Garden, he never presented the bore. Everyone, please follow our performance.

Host : what is your most challenging role ?

Ken : Since the first until present time of my works, I usually had the roles as the cheerful and kind man. I would like to try playing in the diffirent roles such as a man being discouraged or loss of hope .

Rainie : For me,every roles are all dare to fight. I hope that I would recieve the good role. This is enough. Please follow my performance/work.

Host : what would U like to say to your fans?

Ken : Coming to Japan and meeting with fans make me so delighted. I, as the representative of F4 , thank to everybody. Because of everyone's support us. So we will work hard in order to present the good result/outcome of performance/work to everyone. Thank U.

Rainie : Because of Meteor Garden, I’m able to come to Japan. Meeting fans here make me so glad. I will intend in working in order to present the good outcome of performance/work to everyone. Hope

After the press conference had finished, both of them atttended the Exhibition event. They were interested in the huge painting very much. Ken looked very happy all of this trip. And on April 30, Ken will go to the CD/tape shop in order to meet fans. Moreover, he will attend the press and join the activities with fans for promotion of his solo album.

I think the interview in this magazine was taken from their interview in FM Osaka since some questions (and answers) are alike to Unjung's post (the FM Osaka Translation/Transcript).

But there are a few little extras on the bottom part... So just read down.

**Each number corresponds to it's position/paragraph on the magazine.

1. After conversation with F4 in Tokyo,
Ken went to Osaka. And he participated in a "Meteor Garden" event with Rainie.Ken was a gentleman. Rainie was cheerful and a good Japanese speaker.

2. Interviewer : Have you been to Osaka before?

3. Ken : I've visited Japan sometimes, but it's my first time in Osaka .I think Japanese people are polite. Osaka is an energetic city.

Rainie : It's my first time to visit Japan. I think it is comfortable to live here. When I am older, I'd like to live in Japan. The services in the shops are very good and it makes me want to buy many things.

Ken : The staff that we have worked with in Japan are very professional, so it has been a pleasure to work here with them.

4. Interviewer :This drama was first done in Taiwan, which resulted in people wanting to learn about Taiwan to study Chinese.

Ken : I'm glad to hear that. I'm happy that Japanese people are wanting to know more about China.

Rainie : It's lovely that people here are wanting to learn Chinese.

Interviewer : In this drama, you two appear a lot together. Can you tell us about any interesting experiences?

Ken : Meeting Rainie was a wonderful experience, because she is very cute, like a little sister.

Rainie : I'm so happy that you complimented me. I'm also so happy to have met Ken.

5. Rainie : This is my first drama. I was very nervous at first, but Ken was so kind and supportive that my skill improved.

Interviewer : After this, is there any character that you would like to play?

Ken : I always play the good guy, so I'd like to play someone different in the future.

Rainie : This is my first drama, so I cant be picky at this stage. I must first learn more as an actress.

7. Interviewer:In this drama, you come across as a "playboy", but you are actually very kind. You are always calm and have a kind smile. You seem the most trustworthy of all the F4 members.

Ken: That's not true...(laughing...) I try to do the work that is given to me. If you think that, it is probably the influence of the Japanese staff. The Japanese staff really have a passion for their work, and I appreciate that spirit.

8. Interviewer: This was the first time for you to play a central role in a drama. Were you worried about anything?

Ken: Before doing this drama, I had two previous drama roles. So, I didn't feel nervous at all. I had confidence. Before doing this drama, I only memorized the script. But this time the director, Mr. Sai, told me to express the emotions of the character. Then the words of the character will come more naturally.

first time kasi nya mag-celebrate ng bday with his fans. Jan 15 kasi bday nya and album launch nya Jan 7... fans from different countries stayed in taiwan during this time .. he was so touched by this ... ang dami nyang regalo natanggap hehe tapos may higanteng bday cake siya and may konting games with fans (isa sa game yun limbo). may performance din ang mga fans from different countries and syempre nagperform din si papa ken. may handshake session pa nga ata siya with the fans during that day and he cried while saying his "thank you" speech :) kakatouch! :)

During the filming in Mainland China,
Ken's accomodation is list as top secret.


Terrified by prior experience, Chu Xiao Tian decided to take proper measures. Last year, the intimate pictures of “Tian Bing Lian” taken from a Mainland China hotel were widely circulated. Learning from this incident, Chu Xiao Tian specially request to rent a house elsewhere when he arrived Beijing for filming at present. The place he stays has been list as top secret. On the other hand, Chan Guan Xi also being interrupted by female strangers during his filming in Shanghai. He was scared to change rooms with Wang Jing.

Due to F4’s publicity, Chu Xiao Tian attracted close attention from a lot of fans during his filming in Mainland China. Last year, during his collaboration in “City of Sky”, he stayed in a 5-star hotel in Beijing. Tapings from surveillance camera were being smuggled, unveiling his romance with Lee Bing Bing. Last week, he arrived Beijing to cope with Tsang Chi Wei and Lin Xi Lei in a new movie ““Yuan Dong Guo Ji Dai Shen Pan” (International Great Trial at Far East). During the 2-month stay, he turned down 6-star hotels’ offers. He’d rather rent a house.

Chai Chi Ping, producer of “City of Sky”, expressed, the incident of “Tian Bing Lian” pictures has moved into legal proceedings. Yet the management of some hotels in Mainland China has to be enhanced. She also revealed, “I probably will go the Beijing to visit Xiao Tian, giving him some encouragement.” This time security and safety measures are tightly monitored. No media is allowed to approach for interviews. Everything is highly confidential leaving no possible loopholes.

Chan Guan Xi also chased by many female fans from various mainland cities during the filming of his first TV drama “Ba Dai Hao Jie”. Even tight securities of Sheng Qiang Studio cannot stop the trespass. Chan Guan Xi admitted, “Many girls come to knock at my door or phone in everyday. Someone from Sanxi kept insisting to meet with me for the last time. I finally clarify that it was because she had to return to Sanxi the next day.”

Mainland fans are quite crazy. Other than strengthen securities, idol artists have to play tricks on changing rooms. During filming and promotions in Mainland China, F4 members never stay in their registered rooms. Now, Chu Xiao Tian does not even want to stay in hotels. It clearly indicated how serious these disturbances have caused by crazy fans.

It is not easy to recruit on male leads in Taiwan lately. New movie “Love in Venice” was originally planned to couple the rumored lovers, Lin Xin Ru (Ruby) and Su You Peng (Alec) in the cast. Unfortunately, the cast timing cannot fit into Alec’s schedule. Now they are considering Chu Xiao Tian instead. Despites, Chu Xiao Tian is also very busy. The final decision is still under a lot of changes.

The production budget of “The Love in Venice” is set to be NT$3,000,000 per episode. The cast planned to fly to Venice for an on-site survey in July. Filming will then be officially rolled out in September. This will be an unusual production with vast investment in recent.

The female lead has been decided to be Ruby Lin for “The Love in Venice”. However, the male lead is still pending on decision. Ruby Lin and Alec Su were the initial choice. Many speculated to look for magic sparkles to ignite between these rumored lovers. Unfortunately, Alec’s tight schedule cannot meet this plan. It was told that Chu Xiao Tian will most likely be the alternative.

Nevertheless, the producer clarified that numerous artists are under their consideration. They include Chu Xiao Tian, Huo Jian Wah, Wang Lei, etc. Since the timing has not been fixed, final decision is yet to be determinated.

“Love in Venice” will be a very romantic drama taking a legendary Venice love story as its core. According to the legend, two lovers kiss while the church bell is ringing, their love will last forever.

Ruby Lin will play as a clever girl who has to look for an entrepreneur to be the foster parent of an orphan. She will face a miserable life, a role that Ruby will be good at. Although the girl will fall in love with the entrepreneur’s son, they will be separated.

Chu Xiao Tian’s role is intended to be a reporter. When Ruby try to get away from her lovelorn, they arrive Venice together. It will be a coincident that the two fulfill what the legend told. They fall in love with each other yet their love will face a lot of challenges.

Lin Xi Lei and Chu Hsiaot'ien acts as lovers, fearing that it is
regarded as the "jie di lian", she strictly monitors her appearance
and is very afraid she resembles the Japanese star "Song Dao Cai Cai
Zi" in the drama "hundred years language" and looks too old
mannishly.

Lin Xi Lei and Chu Hsiaot'ien were shooting "The Far East
International Big Trial" in Beijing. Lin Xi Lei acts as a Japanese
reporter in the movie who has a long transnational love with Chu
Hsiao t'ien who acts as a Chinese reporter. Lin Xi Lei is older than
Hsiaot'ien by several years, in order to does not let the person
think is the "jie di lian", she strictly monitors her appearance.

When the drama team designs for her clothes which imitates "Song Dao
Cai Cai Zi" antique looking clothes in the drama "hundred years
language" with the loose hairstyle accompanied by the great-circle
skirt, Lin Xi Lei asks: "Is this really "Song Dao Cai Cai Zi's
clothes? Is it too old mannish? People in that era really wear
clothes like this?" With great speed she rushes away to see how Chu
Hsiaot'ien's clothes look like, just for the fear of being
misunderstood that in the movie is showing a "jie di lian". Luckily
Chu Hsiaot'ien's role has a more mature appearance, letting her
breathe sigh of relief.

At present, having signed up with agency, Lin Xi Lei plans to do well
in the acting career. As soon as she arrives in China, the manager
receives invitations from various events and companies to act as
representative for them, out of which most are for jewelry
accessories. Besides "The Far East International Big Trial" show,
Lin Xi Lei simultaneously shooting "Wen Que" which is directed by Du
Qifeng, and has to fly between Hong Kong and China unceasingly.

The major content of this VCD Bonus is Ken’s HK Showcase on 23 April 2005 but do not expect the whole showcase! But for you who can’t attend the event, this VCD should be one of your collections.
The VCD capture XiaoTian sang: LaLaLa, Fu Guo, Sha Qing Ren continued with Games with Fans. He sang “Love Will Keep Us Alive” on second session and a song with Candy Lo “True Colors”.
This VCD also showed an interview with Candy’s comment on working together with Ken and Ken’s interview.

This VCD is in a good quality, clear video and fine sound.
Plus … watch XiaoTian smiling and enjoying the event … would kill every die-hard fan. Awesome!

i THINK the reason is Ken's album is not qualified because of the RELEASE date. this is the 2004-2005 awards. maybe he will be included in the 2005-2006 awards.
