.... The latest issue of One Weekly further revealed that Leehom Wang seeks Pepsi's next endorser post, and gravely threatening original endorsers Jerry Yan and Jay Chou's superstar status.


...According to the report, the reasons for replacing Jerry and Jay are not the same. However, both of them are reported to be "difficult to handle." A staff said that in 2002, when the company took F4 as endorsers, each of them was paid an average of NT$2.5 Million. Last year, the company thought that F4's charms has subsided, and only wished for Jerry's market power in the renewal of the contract. Jerry however, considered to renew with a NT$3.5 million contract, causing added headaches for the company, Furthermore. Jerry had other ideas on the appropriate theme and costumes for the ads, and requested meetings with the company, which has also caused the company felt hard to settle.


..... Leehom's endorsement fee is a little over Jerry's NT$2.5 Million, but is much lesser than Jay's NT$4 Million. Pepsi Media Spokesperson FION expressed that Jerry and Jay are presently still in contract. Will there be a new member? She is not yet at liberty to disclose.

Regarding the Pepsi news, firstly, it was not confirmed yet, so basically it was released as rumor. However, there was also rumor a few days ago saying that Jay wouldn't renew the contract and he might sign a contract with Coca Cola instead as he wanted to avoid further awkward moments with Jolin. Interesting!

Regarding the talent fee mentioned in the article, I think there is no need to take it too seriously. We all know the amount published on the newspapers usually is not the amount the star is really getting in reality.

Regarding the "difficult to handle" part, yes, being difficult is not a negative term anymore. However, even if it was true, it wouldn't be that much of a concern, as throughout the last year, Jerry had only limited responsibilities. Basically, Jerry just took some pictures once and then Pepsi used the pictures on advertisements and bottles. How many meetings did it take? I am sure Jerry is not the most "difficult to handle" star among the Pepsi stars, as there was report that the Korean star brought 80 staffs to HK for his concerts produced by a HK company, although his popularity has decreased gradually in HK since last year that hundreds of tickets were given out free to fans. When thinking about that, at least when F4 had concerts in HK in March 2006, it was a full house for all 4 concerts, and a lot of fans/people tried to buy the tickets but they were sold out. More accurately, if there was a Pepsi star who really said anything, he/she should say "it is difficult to meet their high standards" instead of "difficult to handle".

Jerry has endorsed for Pepsi for 5 years, and Pepsi's creativity is getting worse and worse. If Jerry and Jay really had problems with the program and costumes, it is very reasonable. I sweated when I saw the Circus costumes!

K: I think this is subjective. If you think it’s good then it’s good, if you think it’s bad then…

Kisses between good looking men and beautiful women may seem romantic and beautiful, whenever the audience watches screen kisses, it may cause their heart to beat rapidly and become embarrassed. However, behind all these romantic and beautiful images, the actual situation between the male and female artistes is actually very difficult to relate it to other people.

However, yesterday, on the 21/1/2007, Rainie Yang had said that filming scenes that require actors to forcefully kiss the actresses are the most disgusting. This is because whenever those scenes are being filmed, her whole face would usually be “covered” with saliva. She even said that there was once, while she was filming an idol drama, the actor had actually smoked right before they filmed the kissing scene. Until today, those kisses that felt like as though she was kissing the tobacco ash cylinder, is one that she is still most afraid of.

Because Rainie was endorsing for Oral B electric toothbrush, she, who had filmed a total of 13 idol drama, would definitely had kissed no less than 10 male idols. Just who is it that had actually smoked before filming a kissing scene?

Rainie refuses to name who is the male actor, but under the media’s guesses and scrutiny, the answer seemed to be vivid.

Firstly, Mike He, who has worked with Rainie twice, was named. Rainie shook her head and said, “Kingone and him are all obedient babies. They would always brush their teeth before filming such scene.

Followed after, one reporter after another named other actors like Ken Zhu, Shawn Yue, Roy Qiu and etc, but Rainie denied all of them, and finally, after she couldn’t stand it any longer, and wailed sorrowfully, “Stop asking me who he is, I will not name him because after I talked to him about it, he had also apologised to me.”

Rainie had said that she had only acted in one drama with him, and in that drama, she had only one kissing scene with him. She had also not been contacting him after filming, and also disclosed that he was no longer part of the entertainment industry, and that there is no news of him recently.

Based on all these hints, all these seemed to be pointing to a Mainland actor (Not too sure. Might be China actor)

After following in the lines of investigation, there were discovery that when the both of them were filming, Rainie had indeed, resisted the kissing scene. However, the reason cited was because that period was during the SARS period, and the artistes themselves are afraid that if there are kissing scenes, the viruses would be spread to them.

Rainie said that actually, she hates those scenes that require kisses to be forceful because one they film it, her mouth would normally be “filled” with saliva, and she really finds it very disgusting.

And among all the male artistes that she had worked with before, the one that she feels most relaxed with is Mike He because she had filmed with him so many kissing scenes, there were no more feelings and all she feels is numbness. To her, Mike He’s lips only feels like “two pieces of flesh”.

Not long ago, rumors revealed that Yan Cheng Xu refused to join the endorsement for Taiwan Tourist Bureau on their Japan and Korea promotion project. That is why he kept dragging on signing the contract and caused the backlog for 3 months. Since he does not take part in the Bureau's idol drama, others further accused him for not being supportive. Being Yan Cheng Xu's spokesman, Ge Fu Hong expressed that Yan Cheng Xu was not part of the plan in respect to the idol drama from the very beginning. That is really unfair to hold him liable. Ge Fu Hong further explained that Yan Cheng Xu is unable to join the act due to scheduling problem. Nevertheless, he will take part in series of subsequent events in regardless of remuneration.

In respect to Yan's delay in signing contract, Ge Fu Hong explained that Yan was aboard for promotion but he has signed the contract immediately on his return to Taiwan. F4 planned to go to Japan and Korea for oversea press conferences in early March. The idol drama will start filming around April.)

Oh..Burger King's cheese bacon burger, my favourite! Actually that is also someone-else's favourite. In this bacon king, we met with Chu Xiao Tian, Ms. A's "obba". The instant I spot him, my heart was pounding. But..don't take it wrong. He's never meant for me but for Ms. A. We planned to go home together. If she was with me, she'd be able to share this very moment with me, only 10cm apart for 5 minutes. I couldn't help calling Ms. A who was in Hong Kong. After I went home, Ms. A and her fans-sister gang "interviewed" me and we had a presentation for which I skipped my Korean class. (Honestly, I am only too lazy.)

I wanted to take a picture with Chu Xiao Tian but I heard Ms. A mentioned that he would show a straight to his fans. Well...in that case why should I get upset with a straight face from someone I don't like? However, this time, meeting Chu Xiao Tian himself improves my impression on him. In fact, he is tall, very stylish and felt quite different from seeing him on TV. No more heavy make-up, nor unrefined clothes. He's a bit untidy and got some "baby fat".

How did I find him? When I stood by the Russian ice-cream shop, I suddenly noticed that someone is starring at the ice-cream in my hand. I glimpsed. Wow....a person with unshaved face and tangled hair. Then I realized that is Chu Xiao Tian. Later on, I lined up with him at Burger King. I believe I was the only one who recognized him. When we were in queue, I hesitated to go forward requesting him to have a picture together. On one side, I can show-off to Ms. A. On the other side, I truly wanted to show her this incident. Before Chu Xiao Tian left, he turned around and glanced. Seems like he wanted to ensure there were no reporters and no one recognized him. He looked at my camera and smiled. Just a simple smile, nothing harsh. I finally decided to go forward to take a photo but he left quickly, too late to catch him. Yet, his friendly smile totally altered my impression on him. Lastly, a word for him and myself, being cautious on our weight, it's better not to eat Burger King ~
