docirine, actually sis, dali lang magdownload sa youtube, pero i still prefer yung direct link kasi kahit naconvert ko na sya, basag yung itsura lalo na kung LQ ang ginamit na video pero in fairness carry na yung mga nakaHQ file... maganda lang ito kung talagang walang maguupload sa yo, and like mo talaga ang clips na yon,heheh sana magawa mo na...:)

MYX has included SAD TANGO and FREEWAY MVs in their playlist. I personally saw FREEWAY at POP Myx just a few minutes ago. this is sad, considering that the timeslot was moved 30mins earlier and the plot is getting thicker and better, the story/suspense is building up. where are the pinoy BiErs? i think we have improved 2wks ago but last week's rating was the lowest. i mean from mon to thu, it went down to a low level, muich lower than its korean ratings last year. oh well, i just wont let the ratings and the negative criticisms of this series affect me. i love it just the same no matter how many times i've seen it. what's most impt for me is i know that rain has given his best shot in the acting department here. it's just so sad, that's all. i still support him no matter what.

question: AGBNMR is hired by gma for the ratings. how abt abs? tlga lang lagi tayong mbb dito sa l2k compared sa lotch kht mas mgda story nito?

hi fab! miss ko na mga posts mo sa abscbnforums sa jung ji hoon and L2k threads dun. ako si koreannovelaaddict dun. kokonti na tayong bi defenders dun. didnt know na LDW fan ka pala. nagput up nga sila ng poll dun siyempre mahina naman si rain among kapamilyas kya what do you expect? nanalo siyempre si LDW sa polls. kaya lang si rain multi talented unlike yung ibang mga korean actors hanggang drama or film lang sila. sorry no offense meant ha? just stating a fact. dati nga si kwon sang woo #1 idol ko kc i didnt know rain was a singer when i saw FH. but after watching his rainy day cncert dvd and listening to all the songs in his cds, i became a huge fan na. triple media superstar ika nga and the only korean actor who can excel in 3 fields (singing, dancing and acting). ok lang naman yun to admire another actor aside from bi. ako nga me top10 list na pero si bi nga lang #1.;) dont worry. sana magpost ka uli dun, ha? sige see you.

hello lang muna sa inyong lahat mga sis!!! :) wala na namang ijuksa tom.. i'm going to miss bi na naman... :(

that's right. napansin ko lang parang ang haba ng MG this week. mga 10:20-10:25 na nagstart ang L2k tapos ang bilis naman nito matapos at puro cmcls. parang unfair sa ating mga nagpupuyat for this series. sana sulitin naman ang hba. pirming b10. tapos to worsen things, 4 weekdays lang. hay naku. kya ako ppag habang kaya, sinisingit ko sa pagrereview ko magwatch ng 1 epi/day nung dvd ko nito. actually 2 lang nga pinapanood kong shows pag weekdays: house hsband while having my lunch; and L2k at nite. when i tke my short pm naps to rest my eyes and brain, i make sure to listen to the osts of L2k sa ipod ko. very soothing.

Singer Rain will tour 11 Asian nations, holding a total of 35 concerts to mark the release of his fourth feature album. The tour is expected to be his first step toward becoming a world-famous star after he was named one of the ¡°100 Most Influential People in the World¡± by U.S. weekly magazine TIME.

StarM Planning, the organizer of the tour entitled ¡°Global Project 1st Concert in the World - Rain Asian Tour,¡± said Wednesday that it will spend 40 billion won (40 million dollars) on the 2006/2007 Rain Asian tour.

The agency added that staff members for Rain¡¯s tour will include prominent stage designer Mark Fisher, who has worked for Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, U2, and other famous artists, and choreographer Jamie King, who has helped Rickey Martin, Britney Spears, and Madonna with their performances.

In addition to state-of-the-art video and audio equipment, special lighting and effects technologies will be utilized to insure perfect performances.

Rain is expected to draw more than 1 million audience members during his tour to the 11 nations of Korea. Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Singer and actor Rain has been selected one of the 100 most influential people in the world by American magazine TIME.

Rain is the first Korean entertainer to make the annual list, announced on Sunday morning, local time.

The 23-year-old singer-actor was also voted online as the second most influential person next to Oscar-winner film director, Ang Lee, in the "Artists & Entertainers" section.

The magazine held online voting for three weeks in April via its website.

Thanks to his killer body and dynamic dance moves which exude masculine charm, Rain has ridden the hallyu crest, the Korean wave, and has been looking east to the United States, working hard on English.

He sold out two shows at Madison Square Garden in New York in February.

According to Rain's agency, JYP entertainment, the American magazine said people for the list were chosen mostly based on the opinions of TIME staff and a jury, with online results being only a minor element.

Consequently, at an official invitation, Rain will attend the "TIME 100" Party at New York's Lincoln Center, May 8. Also invited are others chosen for the list including Nigerian Archbishop Peter Akinola and DaimlerChrysler chief, Dieter Zetsche.

kumusta na po ba ang A Love to Kill sa pinas ?? maganda naman po ba ang reception ? siguro bubulusok un pag dumating sya sa pinas....at siguro mapupuno ang airport at lobby ng ABS CBN sobra...

aside form Road for Rain DVD (na di ko mabili kasi mahal..pag-ipunan ko pa ....heheh), may bago po ba syang series? magmomovie kaya sya ? at ano po ang pinagkakaabalahan nya aside from the Asian Tour nya ?

hitad! hindi ko napanood yung interview eh.. talaga sinabi nya yun?? ang tactless talaga! siguro lamang lang si LDW kay Bi in terms of flawlessness (is there such a term??) i think lang ha, mas flawless si LDW kay Bi. pero naman, ang bawing bawi naman si Bi in terms of talent, hotness, sexyness, his being a total performer etc! i'm not sure din kung what episode na kami, kasi its the 1st time to watch it. pero yung story now is that Bi is asking Shin Min Ah if its okay to love her. something like dat. and malapit na yung engagement party..

sabi nga nag comment si kris ng ganun...napaka irresponsable niya naman..being a host..parang out of topic..kasi even sa korea LDW is not considered a competitor of RAIN...cute nga si LDW (and i admore him too) but mas sexy & super sikat naman si RAIn..at mas oozzzing ng sex appeal...

At Lee Dong Wook’s presscon, as related in an article at Philippine Star, he was asked who he thinks is a better actor, him or Rain (a very tacky question, if you ask me). Of course, Mr. Lee was smart enough not to glorify the dumb query by saying there is no point in comparing him with Rain.

On his interview with ABS CBN’s showbiz talk show The Buzz, The Queen of Tactless Remarks, Mrs. Kris Aquino-Yap, even had the nerve to tell him, “Rain is super-famous, but you’re more handsome.”

I certainly hope ABS CBN will NOT be the media partner should Rain comes over for a concert. While I commend them for being good at promotional hype, there are two things that I know will certainly happen if they will be given control over Rain’s visit:

a. They will make Rain’s fanmeets exclusively for their employees and their employees’ cohorts; and
b. Their hosts will molest Rain in public. And I mean literally.
I wouldn’t want that to happen.

GMA 7 may have some of the most incompetent hosts handling their interviews with foreign guests (please, enough with those StarStruck teens already!), but at least, they don’t attach themselves like leeches to their guests. I mean, we don’t remember anyone stealing a kiss from Lee Dong Gun in front of the camera when he was here, right?

my opinion:

lest we forget, that the only true broadcasters that did a fine job in interviewing korean stars and featuring korean dramas/location shoots are GMA people. the likes of the respectable MS. JESSICA SOHO and PAULO BEDIONES & MIRIAM QUIAMBAO. rmber the famous interview of JS with BiKYo? that was a good one, backed up by research. she really went to see FH in sido island,a ferry ride away from incheon. then she also featured the famous nami island, the loctn for winter sonata. did you see how she interviewed rain and song? it was a very nice, substantial and respectable interview. then she also did the same with lee young ae (jang geum of JITP) when she went to singapore for lya’s LG presscon. then the new travelogue show of paulo and miriam featured JITP and went on an actual palace tour (but w/o the interview, i think. sorry wasnt able to finish the pilot epis of that when my hubby called my intention to my winning in arirang’s showbiz extra pop quiz.

so as you can see, never trust just a showbiz personality in handling the interview for foreign stars. trust the broadcast journalists to handle that if you expect a substantial and respectable interview. this is why in foreign press junkets, we send the likes of ricky lo , the famous philstar entertainment editor. they have a good research team to back them up with reliable info. shouldnt the same be done for rain, when his time comes? if he is still with abs till next year (but L2K will finish this year, even b4 nov. for sure), then dont assign kris anymore. and pls no guesting on variety shows. put him in a talk show like SHARON or even news and public affrs like KONTROBERSYAL (boy abunda can do far more intelligent intrvws than kris, who is so maarte and a flirt with foreign guests) or RATED K. if he’s with gma, there are a lot of competent broadcast journalists in that side of the fence.

just to get this out of my chest. nanahimik si rain so yang kataklesahan ni kris sa mga comments niya has no room when interviewing a foreign guest. kung siya kaya sabihan right to her face na di naman siya magaling compared ke korina or even ke boy, ano mararamdaman niya? she thinks by wearing those flashy gowns would give her class? NO WAY! she's not even an inch close to the classy style of ms pia guanio. she definitely knew how to carry herself when she did the hosting job for Jerry yan's meet and greet at the le pavilion years ago. i was there, an arm's throw away from jy himself. so i saw it all

STILL RAIN ISSUE??? HAhahaha. When you think about it, if ever this leaks out to rain's camp then it might play a very gud role 2 us(i mean more to the kapuso'z) and not that much to those passive/just love rain and definitely a bad sign to abs's worshippers... Think about rain's prodction going back to GMA? Then he'd surely be in a much more and more (emphasize!!) professional hands. Maybe the productions just thought abs cud market rain more in terms of the Myx and their hold in places further Luzon, but heck he's performing in Manila, right?

i do hope na they'll not harrass Rain when he comes here. pero i have a feeling that abs-cbn will be the media partner. ang lakas ng hatak nila kay rain eh. and they aired the rain documentary pa.. sana ang mag interview na lang si korina (just like what she did sa lovers in paris "vivian" and "carlo". diba ang ayos naman ng interview?) sana hindi maging O.A. ang pagiging hospitable na ipapakita kay Rain (and to other foreign stars who'll visit us). and i do hope na hindi i-compare si Rain sa other artists coz he's way better than them. :D

Ano po ba sinabi ni Kris? I know na di nyo na gustong pag-usapan pa but what did she say about Rain? Kailan daw pupunta si Rain dito? Kala ko ba december pa yung promotion ng new album nya and yung world tour nya?

I hope Kris will not be doing the interview if andito na si Rain kasi kinakabahan ako 'pag sya ang mag-iinterview bka anong gawin pa niya! Hehehe.... That is if ABS-CBN yung makakuha ng rights! Pan-Asian star Rain will soon announce a duet song with American pop star/actor Omarion.

After finishing the filming of his first movie early this month, Rain left for the United States on June 10, where he discussed the duet song with Omarion and met with the organizers of his Asian tour.

Omarion is a former lead vocalist of the hip-hop group B2K and a solo R&B singer, who starred in the movie “You Got Served” in 2004. Rain met Omarion when his producer, Park Jin-young, wrote a song for Omarion’s new album.

Rain’s agency, JYP entertainment, has already mentioned the singer’s plans to sing in a duet with Omarion, who danced to Rain’s song “Bad Guy” at Rain’s concert at Madison Square Garden in New York in February.

At the time, JYP said that the two artists became friends after the concert and would probably soon record a song or star in a movie together.

In a telephone interview with Yonhap News on June 4, JYP said the two singers will record their duet song during Rain’s next visit to the United States and announce it as a digital single in Korea and America. The agency also added that Rain will discuss his 11-nation Asian tour slated for December with tour organizers.

Rain’s Asian tour will involve stage designer Mark Fisher, who also participated in tour concerts of such high-profile artists as Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones and U2, and producer Jamie King, who produced and choreographed the concerts of Ricky Martin, Britney Spears and Madonna.

Rain has recently filmed a TV commercial for Pepsi Cola alongside American pop star Christina Aguilera. The commercial will air in Chinese-speaking regions and feature a duet song performed by the two singers.

Rain will release his fourth album in Korea in October and hold a large-scale showcase for JYP’s Asian partners, Asian media and fans. JYP said the repertoire of the showcase will include songs from the singer’s new album and a preview of his Asian tour.

Sa palagay nyo, magkano kaya ang concert ticket ni Rain pagpunta nya dito? kailangan ko nang mag-ipon ngayon pa lang, baka kasi more than 10K pesos ang front seats (gaya ng F4 concerts na pinanuod ko)! Di pa naman ako kuntento ng malayuan, gusto ko nasa stage!

Just a little backgrounder sa presyo ng concert tickets ni Rain, para me idea tayo:

Supposed to be, standardized lahat ng concerts ng Korean and Japanese artists. USD80 lagi sya, malayo man o malapit. Naiba lang ang sistema nung nag-concert si Rain sa HK, nagkaroon ng price levels, pero USD80 pa rin ang pinakamataas (sinwerte akong naabutan ko pa 'to). Roughly php4,500 ang conversion nun sa PH peso. Pero simula nung Rainy Day Beijing, doon nag-shoot up ang presyo ng tickets ni Bi. USD150 ang pinakamahal. Wala kasing major sponsor ang Rainy Day noon kaya inabot ng ganon ang presyo. Pero inadopt un pricing scheme na un sa succeeding Rainy Day concerts (Taiwan, NY and Bangkok). Nakakagulat pa nga na na-sold out pa rin ang Rainy Day NY despite the fact na di hamak na mas mahal ang tickets ni Rain kesa sa mainstream US artists. U2 nga, USD110 lang ang pinakamahal.

Now unless samantalahin ng mga abusadong local promoter dito (tulad ng producers ng F4 concerts), I'm assuming na nasa USD150 pa rin ang pinakamahal na tickets ni Rain. That's roughly php8,000++. May major sponsor na naman si Rain in Pepsi, so baka sakaling makatulong para hindi masyadong tumaas ang presyo ng concert tickets nya.

basta, para kau Oppa Bi..kahit 20 thou ang tiket bibilhin ko mahalikan at mayakap ko lang sya at mapunasan ang pawis nya..tapos ipapalaminate ko ung panyo...kunan ng DNA at viola !!! may anak na kami...hehehe...

pero seriously, bibili ako ng front seat tiket kahit mahal kasi feeling ko hindi ko na sya makikita ulit sa personal...nabalitaan kko ung F4 event...and hindi ko sure kung maganda ang nangyari dun pero sa kin, makita at marinig ko lang sumayaw at kumanta si oppa ay ok na ko...for sure, mula umpisa hanggang huli ay tili ako ng tili...hehehe,...minememorize ko na nga mga kantya nya e kasi feeling ko mga local dito e memorized na naiintindihan pa ung kanta ni Rain......dami ko nga nagiging faves kasi ganda beat e....specially it's raining, sad tango and freeway...yang masasayaw ko ... =)

Yung USD150, yun ang pinakamahal. Meron pa shempre mas mura dun. :D Unless you won't be settling for anything less than a front seat ticket, ok na din kahit sa upper box ka manood or something. Basta makapanood lang.

I know some people na ang ginawa nila sa Bangkok, bumili ng isang mahal at isang murang ticket para mapanood nila pareho. It's really all about the experience of being there.

e yung panoorin pa lang sa DVD ang concert nya e sigaw na ko nang sigaw e sa totoong buhay kaya ??? haaay....sana kantahin nya lahat ng fave songs ko..tsaka sana 1 tagalog song kahity excerpt lang kumanta sya..taksa englosh song din...hehehe..dami request....sana nga tuloy2 na ang Asian Tour nya....

Yung USD150, yun ang pinakamahal. Meron pa shempre mas mura dun. :D Unless you won't be settling for anything less than a front seat ticket, ok na din kahit sa upper box ka manood or something. Basta makapanood lang.

I know some people na ang ginawa nila sa Bangkok, bumili ng isang mahal at isang murang ticket para mapanood nila pareho. It's really all about the experience of being there.

I think kasama pa rin ang Pinas sa official list ng JYPE for the Asian Tour. Let's just keep our fingers crossed.

Docirene, am so glad to hear from you again. You said that you were not able to see Showbiz Extra last Sunday but I take it that you've viewed the replay? All of us are delighted that Rain topped the poll but I was hurt by the treatment accorded by SE to Bi. It is always my practice to check on SE's web to see if its line up of news is worth watching. I was really excited when I found out that their Hot Issues No. I is about Rain having been included as one of Time's l00 influential people in the world, since they're covering the first half of the year's hottest showbiz happening in Korea. I was glued to my seat and watched intently but this Rain issue was never shown, instead it was just mentioned in passing before the show ended. I was very disappointed and felt that Rain was unjustly and unfairly treated by this show of the global TV station of Korea. In this connection, this is the comment I posted on SE's message board this morning . . .

"I've watched your summer special edition and its replays and I was disappointed to note that you did not feature Rain as your Hot Issue I - re: his being in the list of Time 100 most influential people in the world. I waited for his clip to be shown but to no avail, instead it was just mentioned in passing before the show ended. I hope you guys are aware of the fact that many people become interested in Arirang and it's entertainment shows esp. Showbiz Extra because of Rain. We watched your show faithfully just to catch a glimpse of Bi and know more about him. Give us more of Rain because he is world class. By just topping your poll alone, he should not have been treated shabbily as you have done and now you are telling us that you are airing 5 x a week - how can we patronize your show when you do not give us what we want?
