Here are the pictures that I took from the red carpet. I got to shake Bi's hand, oh my god! that moment I almost faint...his hand is a bit sweaty, I can see that he's nervous. I can't believe he looked at me. Also after the event, I got to stand next to him seeing him being interview with MBC, this is so crazy, I never expect I can see him so up close. I can't fall asleep the whole night, my mind can't stop thinking about those moment. I miss him so much.

Famous film producer Jerry Bruckheimer, P.Diddy and Will Smith paid close attention to Rain.

The party commenced at 8.30pm on the 8th May. Jerry Bruckheimer who was sitting beside Rain had a two hour conversation with him, analysising his entry into the market.

The JYP staff who was Rain expressed, "Jerry Bruckheimer asked if Rain was interested in going into US movies market. He left Rain with a contact and hope to keep in contact after the party."

Jerry Bruckheimer introduced Rain to the movies he made, as well as the TV series "CSI", and the movie which he collaborated with Chow Yun Fat. Jerry Bruckheimer said, "Through working with Chow, I got to realised that Asian artistes are very serious in their work, and are very humble."

"I was asked to be in a TV documentary about me by Rudy Bednar, an executive producer at ABC," Rain said during a meeting with South Korean correspondents in New York on Monday.

Rain (or Bi in Korean), attended a party here for people selected as the 100 most influential figures by Time magazine.

yup if i may quote rufa mae: TODO NA TO! and bianca: GRABE NA TO! he is really asia1s # 1 superstar. no doubt abt it. come to think of it, from past articles, the korean wave came abt bec. of BAE YONG JOON, mainly be.c of WINTER SONATA. that was years back when FULL HOUSE wasnt aired yet. i also read from a post in one of the yahoo korean fan groups that Rain was #55 in the top 100 list. that was abt a year ago. wow, he is now the korean artist to beat, being the 2nd IN TIME 100 among the artists/entertainers group.

i am overwhelmed. i am proud of bi and proud to be a BiER. his efforts have paid off. hope he wont change esp. his humility.

StarM Planning, the organizer of the tour entitled ¡°Global Project 1st Concert in the World - Rain Asian Tour,¡± said Wednesday that it will spend 40 billion won (40 million dollars) on the 2006/2007 Rain Asian tour.

The agency added that staff members for Rain¡¯s tour will include prominent stage designer Mark Fisher, who has worked for Michael Jackson, The Rolling Stones, U2, and other famous artists, and choreographer Jamie King, who has helped Rickey Martin, Britney Spears, and Madonna with their performances.

In addition to state-of-the-art video and audio equipment, special lighting and effects technologies will be utilized to insure perfect performances.

Rain is expected to draw more than 1 million audience members during his tour to the 11 nations of Korea. Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia.

Singer- producer JY Park commented on Rain getting nominated one of Time 100 Most Influential People in the World. "Honestly, this is something we didn't anticipate", "Going forward, we need to develop according to strategy" he reveals future plans unhesitantly.

I'll like to share my experience of seeing Bi at SOHO street (This is my favourite part)
We went down to the most hip and trendy part of New York on the 7th - The SOHO Street. That's where you can find the trendiest, most unique fashion. We had intended to walk along the smaller lanes (looks more private for him), but a girl's scream distracted us, so we went over to have a look. It's not Jihoon, but as if given a sign, we agreed to stroll along the main streets instead.

We're really like clouds...drifting along aimlessly. But we were unspeakably nervous and excited (it's really funny when we think about it now. We had no info no thing, and yet we were so confident)

Suddenly, my companion shouted "yellow shirt". I looked over...hmm...much shorter than Bi. I held my cool and gave her a smack, "trying to kill me". She jumped on me too, and we were both feeling down, then she pointed at another direction, "yellow shirt"! I immediately replied "Jihoon! Jihoon!" She said, "Impossible". "It is, it is!" Jihoon is too prominent to be missed, especially those shoulders of his! "Yes, it's him! it's him!" My friend started shouting too. This time, it's my turn to be doubtful. "Really? Can it be possible. We just bump into him like that?" (We're further down the streets, so he cannot hear us) [Translator: Are you sure? ]

We hurried to that end of the street, pulling and reminding each other to "calm down, calm down. Don't let him notice us!" There he was, right in front of us, laughing and chatting with two companions, looking really excited . He's really tall and was a head taller than most people around him. We were laughing secretly, then suddenly they started walking in our direction!!

My companions are so professional. In a blink of the eye, they disappeared altogether. My heart started beating really hard and I ran into the Armani Exchange store. his face was filled with a child-like smile. Suddenly they're on the opposite side of the road (gosh he walks really fast!). Through the glass, we saw him twisting this body, like beating to a rhythm (Translator: I don't get this part). I wonder what happened to make him so excited (Translator: probably amused discovering his stalkers? Or euphoria from being able to walk on the streets freely? ) he hopped along the streets on one foot, then made a little hop like the movements in "Dancing in the Rain". I'm shocked he was making such big movements on the streets, and nobody bothered him!!! New York is indeed New York (Remembering the Beijing people in New York) Jihoon must have felt free to do all these big movements because nobody would pay him any attention here. Come more often, Jihoon! Walk on the streets. SOHO comes alive because of you...

He was playing happily, using his long arms to push his companion playfully. But perhaps it's a slight push to him, but his companions were all pushed to one side. He started laughing again....this memory is a killer...

They've probably come to an end to his shopping. He looked here and there, then started talking. Suddenly he started jogging . His broad shoulders and figure, suddenly disappeared like that at a bend.

I finally saw him again, but he was really too fast. He suddenly turned into an entrance. I walked across the street and went up the adjacent building, hoping to see him in the other buidling. It was a car park and his companions were holding the ticket along with some bags (things he bought, I suppose?)

He walked out again. I got nervous and turned around, so i didn't see anything. I went downstairs, walked to the front and looked back. he was looking at his camera and making a phone call at the same time. Just like a kid, can't stay still for a moment.

People, we can breathe easy now. Jihoon, how is it possible not to love you, especially the relaxed you when you offstage?

Talking about about clothes, he was wearing a yellow t-shirt but take-off long sleeve (translator: ??). Can't imagine where he changed his clothes *confused*

He changed his cap. it's a green army cap. probably bought and wore it immediately...like a kid...

Thinking back, he was only wearing a yellow t-shirt, well-defined arms, hands in his jeans back pockets, walking onthe street...he looks so suave!

Rain to Launch Asian Tour in Time for 4th Album

Korean pop star Rain is planning a series of Asian tour concerts to coincide with the release of his 4th album. On the tour entitled, 'GLOBAL PROJECT 1st CONCERT in the World / 'RAIN' Asia Tour,' Rain will perform 35 concerts to be held in 11 Asian countries beginning from the end of this year. On May 10th, the organizer of the concerts Star M Planning announced, “About 40 billion won will be invested in Rain’s Asian tour concerts. Internationally renowned stage designer Mark Fisher who has fashioned concerts by top pop figures such as Michael Jackson, the Rolling Stones and U2, will participate in the tour. Also, Jamie King, the choreographer and stage director for Rickie Martin, Britney Spears and Madonna will be on staff for these concerts.” The Asian countries that Rain will visit are Korea, Japan, China, Thailand, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Singapore, Vietnam, the Philippines, Malaysia and Indonesia. Organizers predict the 35 concerts throughout 11 countries will attract an audience of about 1 million total.

It's 11am in the late morning of 11th May. Rain appeared like a ray of sunshine on the rooftop balcony of a certain building in Seoul Gangnam. His appearance made a beautiful complement to the blue sky of Seoul. He has just came back to Korea on the 10th from the Time 100 party. Although it has been 4 days 3 nights, the trip was very tiring. Yet, you can't see a bit of that tiredness on his face. This day (11th May), he will need to rush back to Pusan later at 8pm to continue the filming of his movie.

Every time I see Rain, a thought will flash across my mind, "Is this really a young man of 24?" Looking from emotional age, he is like a 40 year old who has gone through the sweet and bitter of life. "You can't succeed without experiencing the hardship", "First and foremost, you need to be a good person", "I don't despair when looking up at a mountain; neither do I feel proud when looking down". It's with these principles in mind, no matter what he experiences (like being famous now, or being a nobody), he will quietly work towards his target. This is how he treats others too.

From the "I want to be number one in the music show" Rain in 2002 who has just made his debut, to the soon-to-be global star that he is today, in the Time 100 party where he met up with the rest of the 99 Time Most influential people in the world, Rain brought along his confidence with that killer smile; his target is becoming bigger. It is still a question mark as to how far this young man is can go...

Carrying the responsibility of 60 million people
Rain, who suddenly has the world looking at him, has unforgettable memories of the Time 100 party. "I've never expected to be chosen by Time. It was until I got there and met all these people did it begin to feel real to me. There were many well-known people from all over the world, and the emcee introduced each and every one of these 100 people. The speaker said, 'All 100 of you need to be responsible for 6 billion people, so each of you are responsible for 60 million people. You will feel the burden on your shoulders even as you drink a cup of tea.' At that time, the famous movie producer, Jerry Bruckheimer was just sitting beside me. He said that the era of Asian artistes is here, and that he is currently in a project with Chow Yun Fatt. He gave me a namecard, told me that he has an office at LV, and asked me to drop by when I'm free. I'm surprised that he take such initiatives with me." Rain then went on to discuss the NY article that said he was imitating Michael Jackson. "That journalist who wrote the comment has never seen my concert before. He merely wrote his commentary based on watching my DVD. Later he wrote a correction and called me to apologise. I told him that my idol is Michael Jackson, and that I'm not perfect."

Rain, who grew up with a impoverished family background, saw dancing as his only way out. The story about his mother who suffered from diabetes, yet asked JYP to put all the money into grooming her son rather than spending them on her hospitalisation bills, as well as the Rain's love for his family, has become very famous.

He attended the Time 100 party with his father. "This is a good present for father. Father usually do not comment on my affairs, but this time, he said to me, 'congratulations'. I think I'm still not doing enough for father. In future, when I have time to rest, i will spend more time accompanying him. If mother is still around, I would act more childishly with her, throwing coy tantrums. Mother changed my life. It would nice if she is still around. But then, such thoughts have run through my head too many times."

He talked about his family and some other related stuff: "During high school, my school results were very bad. Jin Young Hyung said he won't let me release my album if I don't make it to the university. So I went through 2 mock questions everyday and memorised all my math formulae. AT that time, my mock exam results average was about 200 (over 400 points). I clenched my jaws and made a 314 during my exams, finally making it to the university.

I asked him why he work so hard towards his goals, he said he'll like to be an adult. "For a happy family. I work so hard now so I can be an honorable person. I want my children to see all these. After I get married, I want to be able to gain respect from others. Just like how I wanted to be like daddy, it will be nice if my son can have such thoughts too."

Ever thought of getting married after coming back from the US? "I like pretty and kind girls who can cook well. But even if i have a girlfriend now, it wouldn't last. I've forgotten how to treat a girl like one. I used to arrange for activities...although I've brought this up with my assistant before: 'I want to hold my girlfriend's hand, want to go on a honeymoon trip with her...but it's not possible within the next 3-4 years. I need to work hard."

Going back to 6 years ago
"Starting from now" he looks trustworthy. His trip to NY this time has given him new understandings. "The truth is, nobody in the US knows my name. Only some contacts know about Rain. I have never had any promotional activities in US before. This time to NY, I wrote the words "back to 6 years ago" on the wall paper of my handphone. At Times Square, I took my camera and got someone to help take a picture of me. I want to my actions to speak for themselves."

His merit is to be able to pin down his goals, and move towards them steadily. "This year, I want to master my English, then appear in US next year with a new look. Their music is a little like our folk songs. I need to learn that kind of singing technique and create our "spicy R&B". Responses from relevant people are positive."

He pointed out "I have a bigger weapon. Every time I have a new idea, I write it down in my notebook. Running Away From The Sun was borned like that. Some time ago, I looked at my lastyear worth of notes and I had some scary thoughts. This year probably won't do. Next year when I release my album in the US, there will be some earth-shattering stuff. Please look forward to them.

He talked a little about the "Cyborg" movie. I'm learning so much from Director Pak now, and it's very comfortable working with him. This movie is a journey of new discovery for me. I don't harbour too much. I play Ilsun, a patient in a mental hospital. He can steal people's special characteristics. Ok, that's it. I can't say anymore." i love the way he handles his interviews. everytime there's sthg new to learn from rain, the man of the hour. he is so overwhelmingly huge now but still overwhelmingly humble. i would love to see him with a girlfriend he can really love and who will lvoe him in return. still wishing it would be shk. but whoever makes him happy is fine with me.

Jung Ji-hoon, Rain to his fans, must have believed that if he can make it in New York, he’ll make it anywhere. The 23-year-old South Korean actor and singer performed at the 5,600-seat Madison Square Garden, New York, on Feb 3 and 4, which was dubbed as only a prelude to his real US debut later this year.

Rain is learning English, but is not yet confident enough to speak the language spontaneously. When I asked him at a press conference in Bangkok recently what was the next step for him after the Medison concerts, he did not need a translation although he answered in Korean.

“It feels great to be the first Asian artist to have a concert in Madison, it makes me feel very proud. I hope that this will be the start for more opportunities in the United States,?he said.
Rain’s next step, as he gears up for the US market, is to make a movie. At least two have been reported to be in the can for him: One to be directed by Old Boy’s Park Chan-wook and the other, a remark of John Woo’s A Better Tomorrow that would co-star fellow Korean Jang Dong-gun (Taegukgi/ Brotherhood) and hong Kong actor Louis Koo. These movies are meant to expand Rain’s pan-Asian appeal.

When asked what he likes more, singing or acting, he had a hard time choosing. He believes that both are vehicles in his bid of bigger stardom. He noted that before him, it was not common to be a singer and actor at the same time in south Korea. He was the first to be both.

He acknowledged that the Korean drama Full House ?where he played a spoiled, but lovable character ?provided a significant boost to his career. But he said his being a singer has made a difference and set him apart from the Won Bins and the Bae Yong-joons. During his Bangkok concerts, Rain’s spiels were scripted in English. The pressure for him to master the language is increasing as he prepares for his first all-English album.

He wants to be Asia’s ambassador of pop music to the Western world, a dream that has remained elusive for those who tried to cross over before. The plan is to strengthen Rain’s base first in Asia before conquering the US charts.

“I want to be a representative of Asia and Asian people regardless of whether they are Japanese, Taiwanese, Chinese, Singaporean, Filipino,?he said in an interview with CNN’s Talk Asia.

His popularity in the region grew with Full House, which has been aired in Taiwan, Hong Kong, China, Malaysia, Viet Nam, Thailand, Japan, the Philippines, Indonesia and Singapore. But his journey to success was not easy. He was rejected 12 times in auditions in Korea and was told to undergo cosmetic surgery to look more Western. He started out as a back-up dancer for several singers, including Park Jin-young, his manager.

Park saw a certain hunger in him. The same hunger which he says creates superstars. Part of Rain’s hunger came from losing his mother a year before he made his debut. He vowed to work hard in her honor. Park has described Rain’s lifestyle as similar to that of monks. He steers clear of vices and girls and sleeps only two hours when he is working. “Only monks, reverends and Rain live like that. That is why I think he can make it anywhere in the world,?Park said.

However, Rain is facing criticism that his music does not sound Korean, but only mimics Western songs. His style has been likened to Michael Jackson, Justin Timberlake and Usher. He also has to guard against being a passing fancy in the West just because he looks and sounds different. Park explained that the reason why previous attempts of Asian singers to cross over failed was because there was no “Asian Color?in their albums. He said the songs in Rain’s forthcoming album were written by Korean songwriters to ensure that such Asian flavor will be present.

Rain himself has acknowledged that he needs to emphasis his roots if he were to become a real ambassador of Asia’s pop culture. He said an Asian artist has better chances at getting recognition in Western shores if they stick to their culture. This is why, he said, he incorporates martial arts into his dancing to add an ethnic flavor into his performance.

He is not the only one to do this, however, Taiwanese singer Jay Chou blends traditional Chinese musical instruments into his songs, and has also employed martial arts in his choreography. But Rain’s edge over Chou is he willing to learn English and is open-minded about the sacrifices one has to make to break into the US market.

“Being a singer and actor teaches me to set bigger goals and climb higher steps,?he said. That is why, even when there are other Asian countries awaiting his performance, he is working towards his goal to hit the United States because in his words, it is the “dominant?music market. “I would really like to see an Asian make it there. And I would like that Asian to be me,?He said.

Rain, will fly his own chartered plane for his world tour.

For his 2006-2007 world tour, Singer Rain (24) is planning to have his own chartered plane. The world tour will start in December of 2006 and the chartered plane will be for all his concert staff members.

JYP Entertainment's (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/showthread.php?p=420405#) representative Hong Seung Sung said "we are considering the option of chartering a plane for Rain's world tour that will start in december." In addition he mentioned "If they do charter a plane, the plane will have a picture of Rain and his name on the outside of the plane and they will use this plane to bring all the staff members to the various cities in which the concert will take place."

JYP is negotiating with an airline company for a deal with the chartering of a plane for Rain.

Rain's world tour will include China, Singapore, Malaysia, Japan, and Thailand... about 10 nations in asian and the United States. About 5 concerts in China, about 3 in Japan, and others in other countries which will add up to about 50 concerts in total. Every concert requires many people including the manager, the coordinator, dancers (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/showthread.php?p=420405#), producer and others which add up to about 110 people.

Representative Hong mentions "to transport all of these staff members separately is not economical. It would be more economical to charter a plane because as Rain's popularity grows, the venues get bigger and the amount of concerts get greater."

Many foreign pop stars often have their own chartered planes when they are touring the world. Last month Lee Hyo Ri was about to charter a plane to hold her showcase with the sponsorship for Bugs (a korean music site).

When Rain releases his 4th album in September, he will release them in about 10 other asian countries. And at this time, he will hold his showcase in the stadium in which the Olympics took place.

Borned on 25 June, 1982, Single, 24. Yet every movement of Rain is not only closely watched by people in Korea, but are also of concern those in many other Asian countries. It's like a miracle getting chosen as one of the Time 100. As a Korean, and as an artiste, I am very surprised I got nominated. I also feel a great sense of responsibility. We heard that your Asia Concert Tour (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/showthread.php?p=423289#) will start end of this year, consisting of 35 concerts in 11 Asian countries with a total investment of 40 billion won in production fee.
I plan to kick off the Asia Concert Tour at the end of this year after I've released my 4th album in October. This concert tour holds a lot of meaning to me. I guess it will be of the standard of of a global artiste, and it will be my chance to build a firm foundation based on my Asian performances. I'm looking forward to it.

Going beyond Asia and becoming a world-reknown global artiste. What do you think is the force that fuels your rapid growth?
I think it is the credit of serial dramas that allows me an opportunity to show my singing and dancing performances. I'm not handsome but is loveable. That could be one of the reason *laughs*. Most importantly, I try my best to show the real me.

Recently, there have been discussions in Korea about Hallyu losing its effects. What kind of strategy is needed to keep hallyu going on?
Going totally localised is the best strategy. I also feel that close interactions between artistes in Asia are very important as well. As an artiste who goes overseas very often, I feel that the support from my local fans are really important.

You made an income of US$6 million between July 2004 and June 2006
Really? I'm not too clear about these money matters, and not too concerned as well. I think as long as you put your heart in your work, wealth and fame will come naturally.

You started living in Pusan since late March to film Director Pak's "I am a Cyborg, is that ok?" What are your thoughts on this?
It's going to be an interesting movie. You'll be able to see a very different me in this movie. Director Pak is well-known to all as a master in his trade. I have a lot to learn from him when it comes to acting.

There were rumours of "10 billion won contract signing fee". Everybody is very concerned about whether you will continue your contract with JYPE.
I don't think it is time to think about the contract yet. I still put work as number one, as usual.

What are your secrets to relieving stress and maintaining your energy level?
I don't have much stress. When I'm tired, I like to play Starcraft. This invigorates me. And of course, eating well and working out to increase my stamina.

What's your ultimate goal in life?
I want to be a good father who can command respect, just like my father, because family is very important to me. If tomorrow, I meet a girl who can tolerate me when I'm angry, and whom I can tolerate when she is angry, I think will get married immediately. Come to think of it, if I get married, I may work even better (laughs). In my work, once I begin, I work give my best, just like breaking into the US market.

Rain and Song Hye Kyo are leading actor and actress of KBS summer hit in 2004, "Full House". Through a recent bid, Rain has successfully acquired a bunglow located in a high-class residence area that is located in Seoul, Samseongdong, near Gyeonggi High School. This effectively makes the two neighbours because Song Hye Gyo's residence is located just 100m away from Rain's new place.

A neighbour living in Samseongdong, near Song Hye Kyo said on the 18th, "Somebody was moving in yesterday (17th). Upon asking, I got to know that the new owner of the house, Rain, will be moving in." She also said, "Superstar Song Hye Kyo also lives nearby, so now that even Rain is living in Samseongdong, this is really great!"

Rain and Song Hye Kyo plays an interesting couple in "Full House", a hugely popular serial drama in Korea and the Chinese-populated regions. Rain has become a huge Hallyu star because of this, hence the news of two becoming neighbours has attracted great interest.

On the 16th, Rain successfully bidded for the house which was formerly occupied by comedian actor Seo Se-won and his wife Seo Jung-hui with 3billion, 107 million and 4 thousand won (3,107,004,000 won :sweatingbullets:). In 2002, the Seos bought the house taking up a total area of 157ping (5652 sq ft), building measuring 97ping (3492 sq ft). There after, the place was rented to celeb couple Lee Jae-yong and Yu Ho-jung in 2003. They paid a guarantee deposit of 800 million won. In 2004, the rights to the house was transferred to someone else. However, when Lee Jae-yong and Yu Ho-jung wanted to move out and claim back the deposit, they had an argument with the homeowner. Hence, this house was up for bidding since last year September.

Would you pay $500 to see Rain here?

Not the typical downpour, of course, but the strapping Korean hunk whose sizzling wild dance moves are know to reduce fans to puddles.

Most wouldn't fork out such a big sum for an Asian concert - the highest in recent years is $198 for local songbird Stefanie Sun's January gig - but die-hard Rain fan Stephanie Loh would.

"Yes, if I can get super good seats like the first two rows," said the executive secretary, 33.

"Some poeple will say, siao (Hokkien for crazy) ah? But you really have to see him perfrom live to see what's so captivating about him on stage.

"Every concert is different and to see him in Singapore would be a totally different feeling because it's our home ground."

The reason we're asking is this: In a press release sent to Taiwanese media, rain has just announced his intentions to tour 11 Asian countries and hold 35 concerts from December to mark the release of his fourth Korean album.

Singapore is on the list of countries he intends to perform in, as well as our neighbours Malaysia and Indonesia, and the usual suspects HongKong, Taiwan and Japan.

But while the news is exhilarating - if it happens, it will be Rain's first concert here and the first time a Korean artiste breaks into the concert circuit here - the reality is not so rosy.

It is common for an artiste to announce he is going to tour in a particular country even before a contract is signed - which seems to be the case here.

The New Paper checked with three major local concert organizers - Unusual Productions, Hype Records and VizPro - but not could confirm plans yet for a Rain concert here. All declined to talk about the feasibility of bringing the K-popster in, but we understand from industry sources that is will be a mean feat.

The main reason: Rain, 24, is deemed too expensive.

Being the top star he is, he will probably command top billing too.

Ticket prices depend largely on production costs and the artiste fee. And that's not including special requests.

For instance, fellow K-popster BoA's managers asked for a private jet as part the tour package, said one insider.

Rain's upcoming Global Project 1st Concert In The World - Rain Asian Tour, which boasts world class performance, equipment and stage effects - is expected to cost 40 billion won ($64m) to produce and attract over one million fans, reported Yonhap News Agency.

A quick calculation shows that each of the 35 shows would have to seat at least 20,000 to 30,000 people to keep ticket prices low.

Since our biggest venue, Singapore Indoor Stadium, can only accommodate 10,000, the concert promoter will have to carefully juggle production costs and sponsorship and estimae how much the audience is willing to pay.

Enough fans?
Whether all the seats can be filled is another challenge.

The Rain Singapore fan club here has just 2,800 members and Rain's last album, It's Raining, shifted only 5,000 copies here.

However, it is believed Rain's drawing power extends far beyond these figures due to his constant media exposure - he was just in New York as one of Time Magazine's list of the 100 most influential people in the world and will release a new Japanese single next month - and his credible efforts in acting.

He is now in Pusan filming his first movie - a cyborg love story by Old Boy director Park Chan Wook - and his new drama serial, A Love To Kill, has just been release here in VCD.

Still, The New Paper decided to play devil's advocate and throw the question to Rain fans: How much would you pay to see your idol perform here?

Now, we understand that the most-pit rate for Rain's last concert tour is about US$150 ($235), higher that the $198 top-range ticket to local songbird Stefanie Sun's concert here in January.

The reaction we got was mixed.

Only one die-hard fan, Ms. Loh, who has travelled to Bangkok and HongKong to see him perform, would fork out $500, while others gave lower figures.

Administrative executive Gina Wong, 30, said that $350 is reasonable.

'SORE-THROAT EXPERIENCE'
"Every show is a new experience, and we've been waiting for a year for him to come already."

Events manager Tan Wei Wei, 30, who has seen Rain's concert DVD five times, said she would pay a maximum of $200 to see him perform live.

"It will be a sore-throat experience! Watching the DVD alone makes me feel like moving to the rhythm," she added.

"HIs dancing is great and the whole stage design and special effects really boosted the ambience. There's also his six-pack abs and his cute, romantic, sexy and masculine persona."

As for Secondary 2 student Lim Heng Xiang, 14, she said she would save for two weeks to set aside $150 for Rain.

"He dances very well, so I will go (see his concert) no matter what."

Every day, I train myself non-stop. I have been lacking enough sleep for a long time, when I'm not working, I am gymming, rehearsing my dance or practising my singing. It's the same when I'm filming. If I don't do it well, I won't be able to sleep. Whether as a actor or a singer, I want to do my best. Don't worry about me not having enough sleep, because after I'm dead, I'll have plenty of time to sleep.

He said, "I can dream while sleeping, but I can also dream without sleeping."

He said, "For the stage, I have given up so many things: Love, college life, drinking with friends...all these are things I've never done in a normal way. In particular, I didn't do my duty as a son...and many other countless things which I have not been able to take care of."

He said, "Nobody can lead a life getting what they want without making some sacrifices. I feel that when you sacrifice some, you'll also gain some. For example, it's nice meeting with friends. But you can't be meeting your friends and be practising your dancing at the same time. I think sometimes you can't help but sacrifice some things that are important to you to achieve ongoing improvement. But this doesn't mean I'll give up my friends. It's just that in life, you just have to sacrifice some enjoyment in excahnge for other things."

He said, "Actually, viewers are very cruel. Because they will not think, 'It's because he's sick, so he didn't practise; it's because he's too tired, so he didn't practise. We can understand all these, it's ok'. No, they will not understand...No...I'm not saying it's not good...no matter how much pain I'm in or or how tired I am, because it's a promise I made with all of you, so I must keep my promise. There are also many people waiting for me. This stage is my promise to everybody. I do everything to keep this promise till the end."

He said, "I will always remember the promise I made to my fans on stage. If I cannot fulfil this promise, I will not be able to sleep."

He said, "Sometimes I'm so tired I just want to fall to the floor and sleep. But after I win the battle against this hardship, I can feel myself grow up a little more."

Jihoon visits Vietnam on 8th of June, at a stadium in Ho Chih Minh to participate MNET and some Hallyu performance put together by local entrepreneurs. He'll also hold a press conference on that day. JYP said, "Rain has received many invitations, but none worked out eventually. This is the first time he is meeting Vietnam fans. Rain has been running on a hectic schedule lately because of his filming commitments in Korea and Single promotional activities in Japan. He departs for Vietnam on the morning of 8th June and returns the next day. He'll be going to Japan on the 13th of June, having his fan-meeting on 15 and 16th. Tentatively, he is set to return to Korea on the 19th.

The movie classic "Colors of the Hero"by John Woo(the director) casting Chou Yunfat, Chang guoyong and Dilong(sound translate) had been reported earlier to be intended to be remade by korean film makers. Popular star Chang dongken, Rain and hongkong hunk Gu tianluh(sound translate) will play the main roles where Gu plays Mark hyung, Rain plays Chang guoyong's role Song Tseje and Chang dongken plays the role Dilong played, Song tsehow(sound translate).
But only news of the remake and not the real thing was seen.

The film production company established by korean famous director Park hunchun(sound), Fingerprint Pictures has successfully bought the films remaking rights from Star media release production company limited. Yesterday the remake plan was announced and will start movie shooting in 2007. Whether or not the previous casts in mind Gu, Rain and Chang dongken will be casts has been kept secret and Fingerprint pictures claims the casts are in selection.

Ahead of advancing onto the steady stage in the world, the singer Rain appears in the screen as the movie actor Jeong Jihun in a short while. Only with the influence and status, Jeong Jihun is a hot rain to fall down upon the Korean Movies 2006.

It was ‘Rain’ on the stage, but call him ‘Jeong Jihun’ now in front of a camera. Rain regained his real name in the movie of the director Park Chanwook . Chosen by the Time magazine as one of the most influential 100 persons in the world a while ago, Rain is showing a better movement forward than expected. Just as the director Park Chanwook, who won the best award of judges in the International Cannes Film Festival through , is in the van of the Korean world of movies, so is Rain a great advanced entertainer who’s directly outgrown the common senses and limits of the popular singers’ circles. This means, he is even beyond the existing Korean wave limited to mostly Asia. In that sense, there is a special meaning in , in which the two hottest vanguards from both worlds of movies and popular music met.

What are mostly the questions asked at overseas?

First of all, they are amazed that I am a Korean entertainer, not Japanese or Chinese. They asked how I felt, considering I am one of the first Asians to come this place. I was very pleased because they knew somewhat a lot about the trend of Korean wave. It seems the Korea’s own uniqueness different from Japan or China’s has been little by little acknowledged. Since few were ignorant of the film director Park Chanwook, they showed a heated interest in me, knowing that I would appear in his new piece of work. On the other hand, how should I be greeted with all the shower of abuse later on, if a nice one doesn’t come out? (He smiles.)


When did you felt something being actualized about the dream of advancing to the stage of America which you had dreamt since long ago?

Even if you may be chosen as Time’s 100 and meet the press or relevant persons in America, the advancement to America isn’t actualized right at the moment. The thing is, if there is many a chance and if somebody had set the table to eat, like senior Hwhang Jeongmin said (he smiles), you should eat it deliciously. But may I digest it nicely? That’s what I am afraid. In that sense, my personal biggest homework is language barrier. If I prepare myself well for English, I guess I might let you have great news through label sources that I have contact with by the time of next year. “The time has passed by that Asian actors performed in action only in Hollywood,” said the persons concerned there. I heard them saying in their compliments they wanted Asian actors and actresses performing in melodrama, or furthermore in other genres. Of course, it won’t be easy for the flow to change at a swoop, but the marketability seems to have been being allowed for little by little.

At the party of the Time magazine, it became a topic that you met Jerry Bruckheimer.

Rather, the person I sure hoped to meet in the party was George Lucas who was my idol since childhood. Luckily I saw him in the face, but couldn’t greet him due to a tremble. (He smiles.) In a liberal atmosphere of the spot, I shared greetings with Will Smith. And I meet a lot of America’s significant persons. By and by, I happened to be seat by seat with Jerry Bruckheimer. Actually, I didn’t know who he was at first. The conversation with him started like this: Where are you from? I am from Korea. What do you do? I am a singer and participate in a movie, too. What do you do then? As I couldn’t recognize him either, he was somewhat at a loss in his expression, “Don’t I know you?” (He smiles.) To hear he was Jerry Bruckheimer, I felt honored, thinking he is a maker of many blockbuster films of Hollywood I like, such as . I introduced myself as ‘Rain.’ He looked pleased too, telling me he heard of me a lot. “Are Orientals originally as big as you?” he said, “You feel different, compared with my usual thinking of an oriental image only of Bruce Lee and Jackie Chan.” And he handed over his name card saying, “Your physique and voice is sure great. I wish we may have any opportunity to have contact at any earliest.”

In , you appear as the man who thinks that Lim Sujeong is a cyborg but is okay, and you too as kind of a psychopath who believes can steal other person’s personality or specialty. How closer do you think you are to the character?

I might have felt myself up to par and somewhat deep in the character. But exchanging talk with the director, I feel below par at times. So I keep searching. There are times when the character the director thinks and mine are different. But he would listen attentively to my opinions. Pretending to be listening, which cuts he will actually use, I don’t know, though. (He smiles.) I am interpreting in my own way. Having been in previous three dramas in TV, I believed I had some kind of my own philosophy of acting. This time, much of it went to pieces. Like soybean paste, acting seems better as it is older and older. However hard I try, I cannot seem to beat the annual rings of a tree, or the wisdom of age. Accordingly, I feel much ashamed of being told the ‘actor Jeong Jihun.’ Even if not adding the words ‘I did try very hard this time,’ ‘I’d like to be such and such an actor,’ I’d like this work to be a long-remembered one. Meanwhile, I am at least as convinced as I can receive compliments of ‘well-done.’

What is your own philosophy of acting you have had?

Ashamed to say my philosophy of acting, yet if I looked at the script given, I just thought I should be that character myself and then tried hard. Therefore, each chance I got, I would jot them down on the memo, what the character’s peculiarity is, what habits he might have, his way of talking, his style of dressing, and such forth. This time is different. Because he is a psychopath and sometimes comes to senses like a normal person. And he is very mild and good-natured. If others don’t understand them, they have their own world. They are a little distant from the fixed ideas with which people look at a psychopath.

Which scenes, not film titles, do you think are the scenes you’d choose, in the films directed by Park Chanwook yet?

There are two that occur. (He smiles.) In , senior Shin Hagyun was going home. Because of a certain device senior Song Gangho set up, he got electrified and fell on the ground while opening the door, and flopped along. The scene might have been just gone by, but I remember I laughed for a while. Such a strange scene of emotion occurred to me. In , out of confinement, Choe Minsik showed a long action scene in a horizontal long take, at which I was really amazed. I know because I practiced exercise. Such a long take is not easy either physically or emotionally. I was greatly amazed.

In this movie, do you have a desire to be remembered as such scenes?

Everybody might have such desire. But there is the continuity that the director wants to draw along. So there if one has his own greed, things will go astray. Certainly, there are good scenes for me this time. So, each scene each cut, I shall try harder to be left in people’s memory. At times if what the director thinks is different from mine, I feel I was overdoing myself. In so doing, I have been adapting myself. The more I do acting, the harder it seems to be.


This time too, is there an odd humor that is hard to be differentiated between if one should laugh or if one should cry?

Yes. It is an intriguing scene. However, it goes very indifferently. There are times of very difficult acting in which you shouldn’t make them either laugh or cry. At first, I was sometimes at a loss, but compiled, it was more often a better answer. In this movie too, the color of the director’s seems to be very clear.


Despite that, are you getting adapted to the movie called ‘romantic comedy’?

In fact, I have little comprehension yet. (He smiles.) Once, I asked of the director, “How should I answer them to the question of this film’s genre?” He said, “How about calling it kind of romantic comedy?” The other staff members have all thought that way yet. The movie is interesting. Not that I do well, but that if I look at the good assistant actors and actresses like senior Oh Dalsu, just their mere remark of words makes us laugh and my partner Lim Sugeong is looking fun and cute. Each of the characters is positive and sure very fresh.


In this coming movie, I was told you hairdo may be like a container for boiled rice? which looks amazing.

I’ve given up on myself. (He smiles.) I am devoted to the movie. I want to be out of the previous person Rain who I was and to be only into that given character. I do acting because I really like it. After the movie, I think I might find myself more matured. If I recall my days of debut, I never thought I would come this high up here. On those days, I merely imagined I wished I were to get any single award, regardless of first prize, encouragement award, or just any whatsoever. (He smiles.) Now that I’ve completed all those and am in front of a bigger one, I’ve gotten fearfulness about how to get along at the corner of mind, too. The director said, “Isn’t it marvelous for us to meet on each different path from other?” If one thinks he or she is up to somewhere, there is another one up there to go each time. Hoping there awaits us a good result ahead, I am positive things will turn out better.

yup i live near festival mall. i saw this 3 mos ago and i had some uncertainties abt the standee. i know he endorsed a certain ice cream brand but it doesnt look like kissweet at all. and then i rmbr that the pic of bi holding that ice cream cone used for the standee was photoshopped . i have that pic in my hard drive, no ice cream cone. anyways, i was really looking for sthg sweet that time so i told the saleslady that i would only buy the P70 scoop (quite expensive) if i can have my pic taken beside the standee. good thng my hubby brought his mms cf w/ camera. hahaah. funny i had to delete the image at once bec. i was dwarfed by the standee. it was a lifesize image of rain. he seems to be 6ft, just like my hubby. we were all laughing. that was a riot. but good thing to know the vanilla (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/showthread.php?p=438425#) and choco chip flavor was superb. next time ill buy another flavor. strawberry perhaps? i wonder what's rain's favorite!

According to many papers in Viet Nam , Rain will have a "S-Phone concert ", which is hold in Quan Khu Bay Stadium with 20.000 seats , with the other Korean ( Chae yoen,Jewelry, B-Boy dancing group) and Vietnamese singers on 6/8. He will properly performance 6 songs ( 5 korean and 1 English ) and he will also sing " we are the world " or "we are champion " together with the others at the end of the concert.

He will arrive in Tan Son Nhat airport at 14 h on 8/6. About 30 guards will take him to his Hotel in oder to have a press conference there. Right after that Rain will be at Quan Khu Bay Stadium to practise , prepare and performance for the concert on that night.

After the concert he will be back Korea at 1a.m on 9/6. They said that Rain would have only 9 hours to stay in Vn without a rest.

When I watched his It's Raining concert DVD(in Korea, right?) ay halos napuno ang bahay namin sa kasisigaw ko. As if I was there ! Kilig at hanga talaga ako sa moves at charisma nya ! Iba talaga siya magperform !

Anyway, I wanna ask if anybody have news on his Asian tour ?
Here in Singapore, medyo pinagtatalunan pa ang price ng tickets..
Although kahit USD1,000 pa yan ay bibili pa rin ako! Haaay, sana tuloy na

Jihoon visits Vietnam on 8th of June, at a stadium in Ho Chih Minh to participate MNET and some Hallyu performance put together by local entrepreneurs. He'll also hold a press conference on that day. JYP said, "Rain has received many invitations, but none worked out eventually. This is the first time he is meeting Vietnam fans. Rain has been running on a hectic schedule lately because of his filming commitments in Korea and Single promotional activities in Japan. He departs for Vietnam on the morning of 8th June and returns the next day. He'll be going to Japan on the 13th of June, having his fan-meeting on 15 and 16th. Tentatively, he is set to return to Korea on the 19th.

According to many papers in Viet Nam , Rain will have a "S-Phone concert ", which is hold in Quan Khu Bay Stadium with 20.000 seats , with the other Korean ( Chae yoen,Jewelry, B-Boy dancing group) and Vietnamese singers on 6/8. He will properly performance 6 songs ( 5 korean and 1 English ) and he will also sing " we are the world " or "we are champion " together with the others at the end of the concert.

He will arrive in Tan Son Nhat airport at 14 h on 8/6. About 30 guards will take him to his Hotel in oder to have a press conference there. Right after that Rain will be at Quan Khu Bay Stadium to practise , prepare and performance for the concert on that night.

After the concert he will be back Korea at 1a.m on 9/6. They said that Rain would have only 9 hours to stay in Vn without a rest.

oh no, im very sorry to hear that. but on the other hand, it makes me proud of Bi that he also has lotsa vietnamese fans, which is great.

waaahhhh... i just saw the teaser for IJUKSA of ABS...

they said bi is the biggest star in asia, one of time's most influential people, singer and superstar... rain is finally home ( becoz ABS' rival GMA showed FH and SD here in the phil)...

sa yesasia dati upon preordering nun, mga P7100+ ang orig price. so parang sa lagay na yan eh bumaba ng knti w hmv japan. mejo out sa budget ko. pasukan na naman. pero mganda tlga, collector's item. sana rich ako para no prblme. anyways.....what i did nga out of frustration, i chose 45 pics from my rain files, yun mggnda tlga, then i d/l it to my flash drive and brought it to digiprint, festival mall. bale P6.50/print and dineliver pa ng lbc after 3 days. grabe di ko maexpress gano ko kasaya. ang lalaki at sarap tingnan paulit ulit mga Bi/BiKyo pics 4R size. di nga kung tutuusin mbbyaran ng pera yung joy na nadama ko nung dumating yung courier. so paunti unti ako na lang mismo ggwa ng photo album. imagine at P6.50. ilang pics ang kaya iprint ng P7100? 1092 pics. grabe. ang dami. eh kung ang budget ko let's say is just P1000, total of 153 pics din yun. lampas pa sa kaya ihold ng 100-pic photo album. madami na din kung tutuusin. so pwede ka na mgenjoy sa self-made fotoalbum. ang kulang na lang eh yung mga dvds na incl. sa package.

so far, wla ako makita so i just made my own. if you have W-XP, just go to display properties, click screensaver, then choose my pictures slideshow from the pulldown menu, click settings, then choose the folder where you stored all the rain pics that you saved in your pc. presto, meron ka na. tapos sure ka pang gusto mo mga pics kc personal choices mo.

dunno why but i shed tears while watching the trailer. i've been waiting for this for quite sometime now.it is so beautiful, the words that the voice over talent used to describe rain. i felt touched. he truly deserves all this recognition. the abscbn forums is up again after going site reconstruction. i had my shares of uncertainty and doubt bec. we know there's not a lot of rain fans among kapamilya viewers but i plead all filipino rain fans, let's support rain on this local telecast. let's not mind the network war. we just love rain and we want this series to rate high in the phils the way that FH did (actually the highest rating koreanovela aired here). after all LOVE TO KILL or IJUKSA is rain's best acting performance to date.

ABS CBN mabuhay kayo sa trailer na ito at sa magandang promotion not only for this series but for his rain world tour next year, sana nga ay madala nyo sya dito.

hello! oo naman nawatch ko na yan 3x, nung jan. pa. ;) ako pa? super fan ako ni rain. as in rain4ever. anyways, tlgang mgling siya dito. at type na type ko sya maging bodyguard like you said. talagang protective. gnda pa mgdala ng suit, complete w/ leather shoes. tapos laging naka sukbit yung bluetooth earpiece. very uber rich ang dating pero sa story eh pobre nmn. kaya lang mejo nainis ako dun sa part na me torrid kiss binigay si rain ke shin. smntlang sa FH, nakapatong lang tlga yung lips niya ke song, as in....walang kalatoy latoy. kulang. dpt next time, mas matindi na kissing nila ni shk, yung feel na feel. sbi nga ng husband ko ni hindi man lang yumakap si song ke rain dun sa tent kissing scene as in naku, sad tlga, pangit ng kiss na yun. kulang tlga. mas masarap pa nga yata yung kissing scenes sa MNIKSS.

tlga, me movie silang 3? ang alam ko shin and LBH worked in the drama BEAUTIFUL DAYS, na di ko masyado ngs2han kc di ko type mga bida except for CJW. pansinin nyo lang dito sa ijuksa. di kasing ganda ni shk si shin pero me mga paminsan minsang angles siya na para siyang si kris aquino. in fairness. di naman pangit. di rin striking ang ganda. tama lang. sabi nga ng friend ko, mas matindi pa din si gong, partner ni rain sa sangdoo (all for love dito). tlgang di pretty. after FH kc , ito ang sinunod ng gma ipalabas, di kcng highly r8d as FH. layo kc ng looks ng female lead. but the thing is sa tutoo, mas nauna ito than FH. but rain's role is so much different and deeper sa sangdoo. mas humagulgol ako dito kesa sa ijuksa. cant 4get yung very dramatic crying moments ni rain dito. feel ko yung pain nya as a father to cha bori, kc magulang din ako and hidni madali yung situation. diyan ko nga parang na gauge na magiging mabuting ama si rain in the future and good husband din siyempre.

naku thx naman sa post mo. touched ako. my family also toler8s me for my Bi/BiKyo addiction, actually koreanvela afficionado na nga. since i didnt marry young, so i dont consider rain na pwede ko na anak kc 17 pa lang yung sa kin. there is sthg i want to share. for 15 yrs, i was an avid tom cruise fan. siya lang tlga wlang iba except when SNF and Grease were shown, fresh from hs, i liked JT for his dancing. then 6 yrs ago, nadiscover ko si Keanu Charles Reeves (para namang di pa siya super sikat nun, ano?)when i popped in The Matrix dvd in my nephew's giant wega trinitron while i was in OZ. so shift gear from TC to KR. pero puro hollywood.up to now i still am an thx to the internet, it was my 1st time to join fangroups. i own and co-own 2 KR groups and moderate for 2 more. yun lang nga ibang iba ang mga caucasian fans kesa sa atin. there's the common asian ties that bind us kya mas me pakiramdam at preno tayo unlike them, they say what they feel regardless if they step on anybody's toes.

came 2003, taiwanovela MG came about. hayan na F4, most esp. JY, of w/c i was addicted to the way that im addicted to Rain now. kya sanay na mag-ama ko sa kin. kaya lang sabi nga nila pabata daw pabata ang mga hinahangaan ko. tukso nga nila baka magmukhang cradle snatcher na ko. hehehe. but go check the concert vids of rain, fans come from all ages. bkt masama ba humanga pag middle aged na? of course not. in his Rainy Day Concert in Korea, 2005, the girl who was chosen to be onstage (he gave her flowrs, a ring, a stuffed toy, a hug and kiss--grabe nakakainggit), she is Nami, 40 y/o. kitams? why is she watching rain in the 1st place? bec. she's a fan. just like us. so here's looking fwd to watching him perform live in manila next year. sana kita kits.

oo juice nga yun. parang mga fans yata yun na nandun sa location shoot nila pero siyempre pagdating sa actual telecast, naeedit out naman yun. me ganung scene din sa 105 roses ba yun inside FH mismo pero sa labas, ang daming naunood ng shooting or taping. pero di na natin nkta sa series. sa pics oo.

parehong abala ang 2 sa respective careers nila and they dont have any form of communication whatsoever. sayang nga. dapat sana kundi lang nag pictorial si shk for her photobook sa abroad, ngkta na sana sila ni rain sa CTH wedding

this is a post i made at raintalk just awhile ago:

i just wanted to vent and share. thinking abt the teaser with the greetings, i cried after watching the jessica soho feature on fh this am (in my pc); she went to the actual FH in sido island and then interviewed BiKyo last year. of all things, gma could have made rain say HELLO TO ALL MY FANS IN THE PHILS, THIS IS RAIN, YOUR KAPUSO. and his 2 drama series were aired there. but they never did. they know they acquired the series but they didnt acquire rain. rain is not any local network (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/showthread.php?p=446647#) property or hired talent. he is a JYPE talent after all. now all the BiKyo fans who had been waiting for gma to air the replay telecasts (after endless requests) seem to w8 for nothing anymore. i cant imagine how gma can do that when abs made rain state/say/claim that he is a kapamilya. why cant i get over this? so bothered and so sad. but i still thank abs for giving that nice intro trailer for rain esp for the benefit of those who have snubbed him in FH and called him names in their forums. now rain and us, fans, have been vindicated. thinking back, i would have supported rain anyway no matter what. i dont want to be in this mess of the so called network (http://www.tsinoy.com/forum/showthread.php?p=446647#) war anymore. all i care abt is rain and ijuksa. so im watching it and i hope they do justice with the dubbing and wont try to "chop chop" the series just like what they're doing to some of the korean series they're airing now, accg to the forumers. and one more thing, this is another thg. i find hard to imagine. if there'll be FH 2 in the future, it would still be best to air it on gma, since FH1 was aired there. weird if not.

thx for the info. i will bookmark this one. i went online yday and read very ugly posts/remarks/basing/criticisms on rain over at abscbnforums. i was heatbroken and i had to say my piece. i was so hurt bec. i love bi so much and i think any bier wont like ppl to be saying anythg nasty abt him. i knew from FH days that ppl in their forums hated bi and kept comparing him to other asian actors, making it appear that bi is inferior to all of them, discrediting all his projects. i told that person that if the network cares for its viewers like them, knowing that they hate bi, then why would it have bought ijuksa for airing? but obviously abs doesnt care abt such trivialities. they know rain is very bankable. reason i cried whn i saw the teaser of rain with his greetings that he is 'KAPAMILYA' bec. a few months back, i posted , in defense of bi, that ppl who hate him dont know a lot abt him bec. they dont read so much abt him. and i said he is the #1 asian superstar, the worlds 2nd most influential artist in TIME100, a total entertainer (singer and dancer), a great actor, and most of all, a great human being. it was if i were speaking the same words (save for the last description).

i am praying and hoping that the kapamilya viewers would shift gear once they see this rain special (if this indeed turns out to be sthg that could give a full picture of our bi, showing how great a human being he is, behind the superstar). this morning, i got a PM from that person (coz i called him rude and told him here in soompi forums, ppl are allowd to praise their idols to the highest heavens but not at the expense of another. meaning, no bashing of other idols ). he kept on comparing rain with JY and making insinuations, starting on many threads that supposedly try to bring bi down, calling him an ugly squid, OA, and some ppl even called him "snail looking". if you were me, wouldnt you be hurt as well? i went to the review center yday feeling bad, i was dampened. i even went home with the flu 8 hrs later. i am sick today. the thing is this: if you are a fan, you care so much what other ppl say abt your idol. and if it's bi, you cant keep from being hurt bec. he is such a good person and he definitely deserves so much respect. anyways, his PM said he apologizes and for my sake, he wont criticiize again. he also said that the reason why he does that is to make rain more famous and his ijuksa would get the hype. in other words, he concluded that it's just reverse psycholgy. DUH??? i hope he realy keeps his promise. if he keeps on doing that, i dont think i like to visit that forum again. so shallow.
