This is translated from above article (pls pardon the grammer mistakes. done in a rush ). Coverage of same events as earlier report but this is from Oriental daily (highlights in blue are love rain's comments):

Red hot idol Rain hits HK like a typhoon and disappears in a flash. Yesterday he held 2 events with his fans up close and personal. Before he came, there were fans who queue for 3 days for the tickets and spent thousands (HKD) to buy black market tickets. In the end, they only saw Rain for 20 min. For the event in tsuen wan, Rain only stayed for 11 min, disappointing fans. (they mentioned something about fans booing but not sure whether they really booed him during the event. I don’t think any true fan would do that to him?).

Yesterday at 5pm (i.e. 4th Jul), the event “It’s Raining in HK” started formally, with 2000 fans from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, S’pore and HK fans all gathered together. They greeted Rain with screams that can bring down the sky and sang a b’day song for his belated b’day. He spoke to the fans in canto “Hi everyone. I am Rain. Thank u. I love u”. And the whole hall responded with Korean “I love u” (sarang hee??).

Next part is on whether he is like his character in Full house. He says he is gentle like the character but will not be rude to girls. Rain also disclose he wishes to have a concert in HK. The fans went screaming again upon hearing this.

He then sang “It’s raining” but the mike was not working. He sang a few lines and there were no sound so he was forced to change mike. He opened his jacket to show his strong shoulder while dancing and the fans scream again. (ha ha, who wouldn’t?). After the song, he threw the towel he used down to the audience and created a frenzy. It was chaos for a while. As the event only lasted 20 min, the fans scream for encore but Rain already walked off. Some fans complain that it was too short and they were upset.

7pm in the evening. Rain changed into a LV brown color jacket for the tsuen wan event (I think this is the bathrobe mentioned earlier). There were 5000 fans this time and the situation was very chaotic. The MC has to ask the crowd to calm down many times. When Rain appears, the fans screamed crazily.

During the event, one of the winners from the game gets to take a photo with Rain. Rain was very nice. He removed his sunglasses, and took the girl’s shoulders and and gave her a warm hug. This makes all the girls faint (hahaha, many of us here faint too). When the MC announce the event has ended, Rain walked to the side of the stage and bow/wave to all the audience from all side. Then he went off. As he only stayed for 11 min, the 5000 strong crowd booed.

A fan, Jenny, complained: “I was here 3 hrs before the show to get a good position, and the event is so short. I was so disappointed with the arrangement”. Another fan say “I took a taxi to rush here. The event is too short”. Regarding fans’ complaints, the spokesman for Universal says they can only respond after a meeting

[From mingpao] In order to have a look at their idol, HK fans waited more than 48 hrs on the street to take part in "It's Raining in HK fans get-together". But Rain only appears for 20 min, sang more than half of the song "It's raining" and left to rush to his other event at tsuen wan.

HK's universal music originally had only plan for Rain to appear in the tsuen wan event but after fans complain, they add in another event for the fans at the exhibition hall. Anyone who has bought his new album "It's raining" can exchange for an entrance ticket. To see thir idol, some fans has waited outside the office of universal for at least 48 hrs to get the ticket. The even is supposed to start at 5pm yesterday, but Rain appears at 5.15 and greeted the fans in cantonese "Hi everyone. I am Rain". Then they cut a cake and sang a b'day song to celebrate his b'day on 25th June. This makes Rain very happy and he say his b'day wish is to thank all his fans and he will continue to work hard singing and dancing. He even say "I Love u" to his fans (in canto), resulting in his fans screaming their heads off.

Then he talked about whether he is like his character in Full house (this qn again!!! Dun they get tired of it?)? Anyway, he says he is gentle like YG but won't be that bad/harsh to girls. He hopes to have his concert in HK soon. He went on to sing "It's Raining" but there was a problem with the mike so there was no sound at the beginning. He has to use a hand mike instead. And he left after the song, so his fans only heard half the song. Although the event ended very fast, his fans did not boo him. but they complain it's too short.

GH: This is a greeting using Chinese.

Rain: I like kind girl who can cook.

Rain: Too busy, I’ve always wanted to, but no chance to eat.

Originally, Rain was supposed to leave Hong Kong yesterday, but he played the same trick again and sent out a 'fake Rain' to cover his face and leave Hong Kong secretly. The goal of this plan was so that Rain could have a tour of Ocean Park.

To the outside, they announced that Rain would only stay in Hong Kong for 3 days and the flight would leave in the morning. But 23 year old Rain with his childlike innocence told his manager to keep his extra stay in Hong Kong a secret and had his personal tour.

Yesterday, 'fake Rain' went into action to lead the reporters away. At approximately 10 am, people were sent to pick up Rain. When the car stopped infront of the hotel, 24 minibuses tagged along. The car that was supposed to have Rain in it finally arrived at the air port and when 'fake Rain' got out of the car and entered the special channel to his flight, he kept his head down and avoided all the reporters and fans.

The plan to avoid the fans was a success. Yesterday afternoon, with the accompaniment of his manager, Rain went to the Ocean Park to play. But yesterday evening, some people posted pictures of Rain in Ocean Park online for sale.

Other than that, over hundred fans went to the airport to send Rain off. They were unable to see the real Rain. They were only able to see 8 staff leave and the airport staff announce that Rain has already left. A group of disappointed fans said unhappily, "Do they have to be so sneaky, we should sue the record company." The fans had not lost heart and waited into the night and wouldn't disperse. They happened to meet a South Korea reporter arrive to Hong Kong for an interview and the fans requested to send a telegram back to the company of Rain's manager to ask about Rain's whereabouts. The reply was that Rain was already back to South Korea, but some one informed the reporter about Rain's decision to keep his stay in Hong Kong a secret to secretly play in Hong Kong.

annyoung haseo mga sis!!! it's so sad to know that he had to escape just to enjoy for a couple of hours...that's the price to pay kasi sikat na siya now...grabe i can't wait for him to come to the philippines and have a concert here..sana naman eh major concert yun and not just an appearance like what happened in HK..medyo disappointed nga mga peeps dun kasi super short nga lang yung appearance niya..sgro if i was there...i will just be thankful nalang that i saw him in the flesh...for sure i will go gaga tlga...di naman cgro ako masyadong maging wild kasi dalagang pinay..dapat maging mayumi...:Dbwahahaha..yeah right...ibng level tlga!!!!

hello mga sis!!! grbe na tlga kamandag ni bi!!! as in nawindang ako sa mga magazines and sa mga news bout him and the HK photographers..they can be such pests tlga..and eto pa yung sa eastweekly na mag,sabi dun na may pumunta daw na girl sa room ni bi sa HK...as in marami tlgng naggalit na sisters sa news kasi hilig daw tlga siang gumawa ng kwento bout the stars..eto pa,after sa isang practice ni bi sa isang perf niya eh may nakita siyang reporter and he recognized her kasi she interviewed him before so he stopped and shaked her hand and naloka tlga ang rep!!!

7/5/05 – The production company “DNT” of the drama “Cruel Love” concludes that it is impossible to have the drama to be broadcasted within this year, thus the drama would be indefinitely postponed. Bi has busy schedules in summer including performing in the Tokyo Yoyoki National Stadium on 7/28 at the pre-match show of the game between the British team Manchester United and Japan’s Kashima Antlers and holding a live concert at Osaka on 8/3 and 8/4. The hotel proved to be the problem, though, coz the only available hotels which are near the venue were the expensive ones. We just opted to get a hotel that's far from the venue but cheap (we're on an economy trip. hehe). We just have to be sure that we will be in HK that day.

Sunday, my friend called up Universal Music HK to confirm about the tickets. The girl who answered said we do have tickets (for 4 people coz that was the original plan) and she also apologized for the confusion that happened before when our HK contact claimed the tickets. For that, I would like to apologize to Universal HK for whatever I said before out of anger to them. So anyway, the girl then asked my friend if we would like to join the presscon as well. I was like, "OF COURSE WE DO!!" and started jumping like crazy (good thing it was just a phone call and the person on the other line couldn't see me bouncing around in our hotel room. hehe) But my friend, the calm one, admitted that we are not from the press (if we ended up not getting the presscon access for that, I would've killed her) but we would be glad to join the presscon anyway. After she hung up, I called up my other friend who was doubtful about the entire thing and told her we're not only going to the fan gathering but to the presscon as well. Well, guess what. She flew in Monday morning and attended the event with her luggage in tow.

At the presscon, we were the only ones who are not carrying bazooka-like lenses so we just pretended that my friend's luggage contained photographic equipment. Also, we were the only ones there who are neither Chinese nor Korean. So during the presscon, for some reason Bi was always looking at our direction (we were at the front row even if we were told those with PHOTO press passes were supposed to be at the back; no way, man! My camera can't compete with bazooka lenses plus this is the closest I can get to Bi as I can). I don't know if he was always looking at us coz (1) he noticed we look different from the rest of the press; or (2) he noticed we don't know what the heck was going on and was just staring at him blankly the entire time. The presscon was in Korean and Chinese, and since we understand neither, I can't tell you what they talked about there. The only word we understood was "SEXY".

Since all we can do was ogle at him, we were able to take note of his every move while he was onstage, and I can say that contrary to what the nasty media wrote, the guy is definitely NOT GAY. Terminally shy, yes. Gay? No way. He looked adorable up there especially when the 'sexy' thing came up. At times he looked like a kid who's so overwhelmed with the attention he has been getting. It's like he's thinking, "What am I doing here? Why are they giving me all these attention?"

During the photo op with him holding the gold award, the press had to tell him to smile and he gave this really embarassed smile and he even blushed a little bit. I swear, he looked like a teddy bear that I wanted to hug. It was a very very short presscon, though, only about 15mins with only four questions asked. Bi must really have a hectic sched that day.

Too bad it was very short - he sang only one song, and it even had tech problems. But through that short number, I was able to feel what Bi is as a performer. When his headset conked out, I felt his frustration even if I was relatively far from the stage. He didn't falter despite the tech problems; he still went on with the number and sang and danced his heart out. Any lesser artist would've either walked out or gave a half-hearted performance. But he didn't. His face on the pic above demonsrates the kind of intense energy he gave in that one number.

We heard there's a mall thing that came after the fan gathering (and the venue is actually near our hotel!) but we just decided against it coz we were told it's gonna be crazier there as it's open for the general public. Up to now, I still can't believe the events that transpired. For me, it's like a TV show that I just watched. The only proof I have that I really saw him were the photos that I took and the presskit I got from Universal HK. It was all a wonderful memory that I certainly hope will happen again.

Asian Star Rain had a surprise meeting with Alan Tam in Hong Kong for 2 hours.

Rain got back home July 5 after 2 nights and 3 days of visiting Hong Kong. In the evening of July 4 the day before coming home, Rain had Alan Tam visiting in person and had 2 hours of meeting with each other in a pleasant talk.

One of Rain's attendants in Hong Kong said,July 4th night when Rain's official schedule in Hong Kong was all finished, the staff and Hong Kong Universal persons had a wrap party in a club in the city of Hong Kong. Alan Tam came to the closing party and had a surprise meeting with Rain.

There, Alan Tam greeted with the words "I wished to meet you!". And Rain replied "I am happy to meet the idol whom I liked very much as young. " Alan Tam stayed for 2 hours and had a lot of dialogue with Rain before leaving.

2005.07.08 Rain’s house in Seoul was invaded by Hong-Kong’s paparazzi

The popular singer Rain ‘s privacy was under threats by a Hong-Kong magazine (一本便利)
Their reporters flew to Rain’s house in Seoul. His family photos, home address got exposed which should not be revealed to the public. Rain was furious about this rude intrusion.
Rain’s Korean agency JYPE and the record company “Universal Music” in Hong-Kong were considering laying an accusation against the magazine company.

The magazine (一本便利) posted photos of Rain’s apartment on the north side of한강 (Hang-river) and revealed the indoor- decorations as well.
They also forced Rain’s father and sister to answer their questions.
Under this circumstances, Rain’s father and sister had been mentally disturbed by the reporters of 一本便利.
The reporters pretended to be Rain’s fans and rang the bell. When Rain’s sister answered the door, they just squeezed inside the house and took pictures without permission.
Rain was really worried and angry when he heard the news in Hong-Kong coz he would like to protect his family and privacy from being disturbed by the rude paparazzi.

The broadcasting of KBS drama “Full House” had successfully brought good names for the singer/dancer/actor Rain in Taiwan, Japan and Hong-Kong.

His latest album “It’s Raining” was debuted last Friday in Taiwan and already became the No 1 album on the East-Asia chart of G-MUSIC.
His album had also won out the group Back street boys on the mixed- main chart.

Rain’s manager- right in Hong-Kong had been signed to miss Chen-cha-Ying (the same manager as Fay-Wang). He might hold his Hong-Kong concert end of this year. Fans in Taiwan are also requesting Universal Music for his second -visit to Taiwan.

From the TV series to the stage, Rain is always active. His character is much more like the double characters of "Gemini".
In the afternoon at 3/7, I've got the percious chance to interview the so-called "most valuable Korean artist", the Korea superstar singer Rain.
There is 60 seconds before the interview, and this 23 year-old big boy Rain appeared in front of us. His talking and behaving, is much more shy than I imagine.
He always makes us laugh by his talking, and sudden humour.

1. It's the first time you meet your HK fans, how do you think of them? Are there any difference between the HK fans and other fans?
Rain : I never imagine that they will be so hot to me! I can't express the touching feeling by words! In fact I am a person who don't know how to express myself, but I will work more harder on my job, I think they will understand me!

2. What's your feeling on HK?
Rain : I hope to visit this beautiful place when I was young. Now I am here, it's really beautiful!

3. What catches your interest most in HK?
Rain : The "Little dog team"(Kit Lam : we call the reporters who always disclose artist's private and secret the "little dog team", the artists don't like them at all.) There are so many "little dog team"!!They are so cruel!(Rain also can't control himself and laugh out!) I want to ask you a question , do I have the right to call the police to take them away in HK?(he laugh with pain) (The interviewee: I am sorry, I can only give you a word"No"!)

4. Are you now preparing for your 4th album?
Rain : The 4th album is planned to release next year. Now I am working hard on the promotion of << It's Raining >>!

5. Have you ever think of directing an album by yourself? What will this album be??
Rain : Ha, I really thought of this before! However, I have to bear the role of actor and singer and dancer, so I perfer to do my own job well.

6. What makes you keep going ahead, stay active and charming? Can you show this to our << TAE >> reader?
Rain : I think just let the past pass. The most important thing is this moment. If you want yourself happy, you better don't focus on the thing in the past. Try your best to do your job with your greatest effort and avoid to have the sad things with you. I usually think of something hopeful, and the days will become active and happy(smile with his cutie face~~)!

7. What is the thing you haven't done before and you think you will do it some day?
Rain : I feel interest in being singer and actor, in the future I might try to direct other singer's album! As I hope there will be better choices after 10 years, I want to do my very best now. A ja a ja!

8. You dream to be...
Rain : humm....there are many ambitions and dreams. I think at this moment, I will do what I planned to do. I know there surely will be difficulties and problems, but I am ready to deal with them! At first, my first target was to be a singer, and I've already acheived it. The second aim was to be " the best new singer", I had also acheived. The third aim is to get "the best artist award", and I am now steping forward to this direction. Within 10 years, if I can get everything I want, then I wish to be a fashion designer.

‘Asian Treasure’ Rain, to Concentrate on Singing Activity This Summer

Drama ‘Bad Love’ Failed to Produce...Nominated in MTV China Music Award...Exclusive Concert in Japan from Coming 30th

Asian Treasure’ Rain is expected to be centering on singing activity this summer. The drama ‘Bad Love’ he put most emphasis on failed to produce and so his summer schedule is concentrated on the activities as singer. Rain is both an invited singer and a nominated awardee in ‘MTV China Music Award’ held in China July 24. If he wins the prize, he will be achieving ‘Grand Slam’ who has swept all the awards MTV held in Asia this year in succession to MTV Korea, MV Asia and MTV Japan.

Rain is known to have a congratulatory performance in the goodwill match with Kashima Antlers Japan at National Yoyogi Stadium Tokyo by being invited by the Manchester United of England Premier League, and is known to be on arrangement for a meeting with Park Jisung. In sequence, he proceeds with his first exclusive live concerts in Tokyo August 30~31 and in Osaka August 3~4.

The reason why Rain endured the busy schedule as a singer is because he has became a stable sure international star who enjoys a hot popularity in such various countries as Korea, Japan, China. Last first of July before his release of music album, he visited China and found local fans’ love for Rain by being called by the pet name of ‘treasure.’ An office-head in JYP Entertainment, Jung Wook said “Rain was more popular than we had expected, as far as paparazzi holding onto him even in the Airplane moving from China toward Hong Kong.”

When he was staying in Hong Kong from 3rd~5th after China, Rain was treated as a ‘national guest’ because of the telecasting of drama ‘Full House’ and the popularity of the June-25-released album. Hong Kong TVB made a decision to rebroadcast the ‘Full House’ after televising ‘Sangdu, Let’s Go to School.’

‘Bad Love’ in which Rain was scheduled to co-appear with Go Soyoung was virtually not to be produced, with the conclusion of being unable to produce this year by the outside supplier DNT Works. The ‘Bad Love’ DNT Works produces was expected to be broadcasted by MBC from March only to fail. Afterwards other broadcasting stations like SBS wanted to program it. Finally, it came to the conclusion that the ‘Bad Love’ is unable to broadcast this year.

A person in charge of Rain’s relevant company JYP Entertainment responded “We were thrown off balance by the sudden unexpected news that putting it onto the program of the broadcasting station is difficult.” In the interview in Japan around end of May, Rain once said “I like such as the script and the cast of ‘Bad Love’ and I can show what I haven’t shown yet. So I would like to participate.” Failing to be produced of the much-expected drama, there is this following cautious expectation rising up at the part of entertainment world “Rain might aim at advancing onto the movie.”

BoA said on the 9th at 'MBC MUSIC CAMP' that she's not feeling well and wouldn't be doing her poppin' dance feeling that she might get hurt.

And that same night at 7 o'clock , BoA attended the 2005 i-concert.
She showed another powerful performance, performing 'Girls on top' and 'Moto', but she didn't look too well. Her face was dark and she looked sick.

Her manager from SM suggested from her illness, that she doesn't do the 'Ending Performance' with the other stars, but BoA refused and told them she'd finish the concert and then go home.

Another popular star, Bi(Rain) has been kept up with illness himself. On the 9th, he finally went to the hospital. The JYP Entertainment says he's been overworking with busy schedules in Japan, China, and Hong Kong and he should be okay soon.

Ziel was kinda plastered on the bus window and she was squealing Bi’s name. The next thing I know I was alone in the bus and Bambie and Ziel were nowhere to be seen. So I alighted the bus only to see that both of them were hoarding magazines in the newsstand, and the bus driver was asking me if we had luggages stored in the compartment. They totally forgot about their "maletas" (luggages) and I was wondering if I was the only sane person around hahaha :lol: …since we didn’t have any Bi stalking activities that day we went around mongkok, bought j-pop stuff for Willow, Camille and Rabs at Sino Center, went to Tsim Sha Tsui, watched the “Amazing Lights Show” :

at the Avenue of the Stars and bought every conceivable magazine, photobook, calendar that had Bi’s face on it. Went back to the hotel to finish the Philippine banner in hangeul, packed the gifts for Nicole and Kit of Rain HK and got ready for the next days event. Bi’s arriving tomorrow!!!! Can’t wait to see baby BI!!!
July 3 –

It’s Raining at HK Airport

We woke up early, earlier than our alarms hahaha, had our breakfast and went straight to the airport to see Bi arrive. The very very pretty Kit of Rain HK called us to say she’ll meet us at 9. Rode the MTR got lost and confused looking for the Airport express line,
finally arriving at the airport 30mins later than our scheduled meeting time with Kit. The airport was already teeming with fans and reporters but we were still able to get a good position to see Bi come out. It was fun mingling with the HK fans, and they were surprised to find out that we flew in just for Bi. We got our CD’s from Nicole, tickets to the fan meet and the Rain HK shirts which we had to wear for the TVB-JSG live show later that day. We were sooo excited to see Bi that everytime those automatic doors opened the fans would scream.

Everyone was dodging reporters, cameramen and photographers who were there to record the days events, when someone (a girl in green) tapped me on the shoulder and spoke to me in Cantonese. I said I’m sorry I don’t speak Chinese and then she goes:

“Where are you from?”
“I’m from the Philppines” I said, and then suddenly out she whipped a microphone !!! Hahaha and then everyone beside me started covering their faces Bambie and Ziel included.

The reporter turned out to be from TVB the station airing JSG, the live show Bi was appearing in later in the afternoon. She asked how long I’ve been a Rain fan, what I liked about him, if we only went to HK to see Bi, if there are other Filipinos who flew in, if I thought he was handsome etc etc. Haven’t seen the interview but we already saw the part after I was interviewed in one of the TVB clips laughing and looking at the flag and banner hahaha

It’s BI any moment !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So we were just waiting for Bi to come out. Nicole and Kit said there are two flights coming in from Beijing either 10 and 11 I think. We knew he was there because security was beefed up near the passenger exit and the automatic doors. Passengers from other flights were fairly amused by the number of fans that came out, and they’d take pictures of the crowd. By 12 noon we were still waiting and suddenly waaaaaaaahhhhh!!!! we saw BI’S DANCERS coming out from the right side!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We started screaming ‘cause we knew he’d be out any moment!!! There was a slight commotion behind the automatic doors and when it opened we saw the cameramen and security people coming out but most of them were looking behind. *Screams!!!!* THIS IS IT RAIN IS HERE!!!! OMG!!! I cannot believe it there was this tall composed gorgeous man in shades walking out of the doors, he was in black with a burgundy scarf!!! “BI oppa!!!!” …”RAIN!!!!!! BI!!!!!!!!!!” I don’t even remember what I called him, I think I just screamed, clicked my camera got a total of four blurry pics hahaha :lol: . Everybody was pushing to get a good view and screaming to get Bi’s attention. He stood for awhile near the Travelex booth where the media were stationed. Had his pics taken, smiled but rarely showed his teeth. He seems to be overwhelmed by all the attention he’s getting. He was like a little lost boy standing there, he looked vulnerable but at the same time strong enough to face the media and his fans. He looked bewildered but grateful for all the adulation. He waved a couple of times and was whisked off to the lifts (not sure if he really took the lift).

Mad Dash and Hasty Scramble Part 1:

After Bi started moving to right everybody started to run!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was a stampede, a pandemonium of sorts!!! Ziel tugged my hand and we were running towards the exit that leads to those famous staircase where F4 always exits. I was looking for Bambie who was with Kit running to God knows where, and Ziel told me “Forget about Bambie she’ll call us!!!” Ziel didn’t want to let go of my hand because she didn’t activate her roaming service :lol: and I was her only link to the world if she got lost!!!! So we went running down those famous staircase (was so scared to trip http://tsinoy.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif ) but Bi already left when we got to the doors hahahaha it was sooo much fun and we were laughing so hard in the end :lol: . We saw Bambie and Kit a little bit later & swapped stories with HK fans waiting around. We were all pink, flustered and sticky afterwards (yeah HK was really warm that weekend :sweating: ) but most of all we were sooooooooooooooooooooooo ECSTATIC to see our baby BI finally!!!! How did I feel when I finally saw him? I’m not really sure but you know when you get this feeling like your heart wants to burst and you're kinda nauseous :? it was something like that plus a lot of tummy somersaults!!! :lol: :lol: :lol:

Mad Dash and Hasty Scramble Part 2:
After seeing Bi for the first time, I think I had a silly smile plastered on my face the rest of the day. We ate lunch at the airport, the McDonalds manager asked if we saw Bi….we did!!!! hahaha. Rode the Airport express train again and MTR went back to the hotel for a catnap and shower and then headed off to far off Tseung Kwan O station to meet Rain HK fans for the JSG show. We were suppose to be there before 5PM but our hotel shuttle left in 30 min intervals so we had to wait for the 4 pm shuttle. So needless to say it was another mad dash on the streets of Mongkok and at the MTR cause we had no idea how to get to the studios from the Tseung Kwan O station. We asked the concierge if we just take a cab how much would we pay, he goes 700 HK dollars!!!!!!!!!! That’s Php 4,900!!! shoot forget about the cab we’re taking the train.So we’re running and walking very fast, changing trains like crazy and I guess we were a funny site wearing our Rain HK shirts, digging for coins in our pockets and worrying because we still needed 1 more ticket to get into TVB!!!
Worried, hopeful and expectant
So we arrived at Tseung Kwan O station we were running from the train and had no idea where to go next. Good thing we saw a couple of girls in Rain HK shirts running to the left so we just followed them. When we got there, there were about 100 fans waiting, they were kinda looking at us cause they still hadn’t worn their shirts and we were all over HK in them hahaha. There were 2 girls who kept looking at us who turned out to be Malaysian fans, Liz and Miao. We were grouped together along with Rain China and Singapore I think. Nicole just advised us that she can only give 2 tickets to us, the tickets were hard to get according to her. The tickets were like the most prized possession of a Bi fan that time, to get in the TVB show was the ultimate HK experience . So were already a little bit down by this time, cause who would want to be left out? When the fans started boarding the double decker buses to take us to the TVB station they still gave us three boarding stickers so we got hopeful that they’d allow one more Filipino fan to get in. It was at this point that I told Bambie “if worse comes to worse ako na lang (I’d be the one to give up)” – in a very soft whisper but I wanted to cry. I wanted to tell her I’d give up my spot in a louder voice but I just couldn’t say it. Bambie said she’d be the one to decide. It was a short bus ride to the station and finally TVB!!!

The Wait for the tickets…
When our buses finally entered the gates, we were not allowed to alight from the buses. We had to wait for the TVB staff to allow us to enter. There were 4 buses all in all. Two buses for Rain HK fans, 1 bus for Cloud Japan and another one for the media and the press. They were so strict that a staff from TVB entered each bus to brief us of what and what not to do using a megaphone too hahahah. Couldn’t understand a single word the Filipinos were the only fans who can’t speak Chinese in our bus. So we brought up our concern about the tickets to one of the Rain HK girls in charge, and she said she’ll see because according to her the issuing of TVB tickets were so “messy”. In the end they didn’t ask any questions as long as you were in the bus I guess they’d give you a ticket. We were soooo happy (again the word I think is ECSTATIC) that’s the first time I got teary eyed cause I knew all three of us were seeing Bi really close. I said thanks to Bambie for all the trouble of getting us to HK, and she said to stop it hahaha cause she wanted to cry because of Bi not because of anything else. So a guy from TVB comes up again to warn us not to lose those precious tickets, to keep them in our “body” at all times. If we were going to the washroom to bring them along, cause they won’t let us enter if we forget. I was not going anywhere even if I have to hold my pee for the next 5 hours hahaha. The guy also warned us that cameras video or still is strictly prohibited (one girl was mercilessly sent out of the studio after attempting to snap pics of Rain http://tsinoy.com/forum/images/smilies/frown.gif and this was before he performed :cry: ). So the studio staff announced again that due to the number of fans they decided to just let the fans sit on the floor. He then ripped our tickets slightly he said this is the sign from him that we can enter the studios. We went down the buses, one bus at a time and entered the studio!!!!!!!

It was really a tiny tiny set. It looked huge in the clips I downloaded the other day, the platform where Bi stood for the first time was really small but in the clips it looked big. Rain HK got to sit/stand by the stage in front, the international fans got to seat (we had chairs) right beside the platform. I kidded Bambie if Bi performs in this platform I am just going to die!!! Cloud Japan was seated at the elevated audience stand at the back beside the press and media people but since they’re Cloud they really are privileged. They were transferred right in front of Rain HK near the stage. The show started with 2 HK duos “Twins” and “I Love You Boyz” and a Caucasian band. While Twins were singing we suddenly saw Bi (his hair actually) on the wings being interviewed by someone and this was simultaneously shown while Twins were singing (not sure my memory’s kinda vague on this). Poor Twins no one was paying attention everyone’ s eyes were riveted to right side of the studio and screaming for Bi to come out.

After Bi’s interview in the wings we still watched a little bit of the performances and the interviews. There was a commotion coming from the back and suddenly THERE HE WAS!!!!!!!!!!!!! BI WAS STANDING BEHIND US!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WAITING FOR HIS CUE TO COME IN!!!!! Everyone started screaming again and craning their necks towards the back. We sort of had a semi-clear view of him through the railings of the elevated audience seats. He was soooo cool standing there flashing his shy sweet smile(ahhhhhhhh!!!!) looking at his dancers, looking like a baby but he ain’t no baby I swear, smiling at his fans, looking gorgeous and sexy in his plaid burgundy vest, he still had his shades on. Bi was in his performance mode…he looked a little nervous according to some people but you can see he was anxious to go out there and show HK what he can offer , how he wanted us to be the proudest BI fans ever!!! The security people were strict but they gently reminded us to please sit. When Bi got his cue to enter I thought I was just going to pass out!!! He was going to pass beside us!!!!!!!!!!! He was stepping on the platform he was like 2 meters from us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! OMG I never imagined seeing him in the flesh this near, I thought the nearest I can get to him was like in the concerts, he is sooo tall so big in real life!!! He has the nicest tan I’ve seen, Bambie will laugh at me again for this, they’ve been kidding me about a certain fixation I have for Bi ….but those armpits, sheeeeeeeessssshhhh!!!!!!! Ok back to baby Bi…so there he was he started to dance the intro he uses for “Instead of Saying Goodbye” and then stops…gets interviewed elicited screams from the fans and went on to to perform “I Do” on the platform next to us!!!!!!!!!!!!! He was soooooooo near and when he turned our way wahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh all you can do is SCREAM!!!! Next he transferred to the stage in front and performs It’s Raining!!!
Call me weird I got a kick out of screaming Jung Ji Hoon! Jung Ji Hoon! in the instrumental part of “I Do”!!! I’ve always wanted to do this hahaha…ever since I started watching DBSG (TVXQ) and the way the fans scream their names in unison waaaaaaaahhhhh now I’m here screaming Ji Hoon’s beautiful beautiful name!!!! I have this (once again) vague memory of Bi’s It’s Raining performance, I guess I was too hyper ‘bout the whole thing. So I just watch his performance in the clips I’ve downloaded and basically my memory is everyone else’s memory.

Rain Rain don’t go away!!!!
When the show ended Bi started walking towards the platform again and at first we thought that he was exiting the same way he entered so we rushed towards the platform again. Then he stopped in the center just right before the platform and suddenly turned to his left (our right). OMG this is it!!!! He’s exiting right beside us!!!!!!!!!!! As in he will be just an arms length away (ok more like two arms length)!!!!!!!!!! Waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!! So to the right we went but there was a sort of an enclosure for the audience that I didn’t dare cross, we could if we want to. Bi started walking towards us (aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhh!!!!!) he bent to pick up something which turned out to be a gift thrown at him (I thought he dropped something) walked a little then STOPPED aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhh right in front of us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Ok sorry I know this is all written but the words look so loud hahahaha. So he stops and faces us!!!!!!!! Sheeeesssshhhh he had the most beautiful expression, he had the most beautiful face, shyly smiling, tired but looking triumphant in a way, his eyes just wandered over the sea of eager faces looking at him screaming his name and acknowledging all of us by simply nodding his head and giving us that childish dreamy grin we all love!!!!! He stops to look at us and we knew, he stared at the Philippines banner that was written in Hangeul, we knew he wouldn’t miss it, we were just an arms length from Ji Hoon, we knew he now knows he has fans in the Philippines!!!! He exited to the right of the studio waving and bowing slightly and then he was gone…
I don’t really care what happened next, I was so stunned by being that close to him I wanted to cry but I was dazed. I sat on my seat next to Ziel and when I looked at her she was literally sobbing, I grabbed my phone called my sister in Manila, stuffed my head inside my bag and just cried while talking to her. Bambie was on the phone too, talking to Liezle her head stuffed inside her bag too. When I finished talking on the phone Nicole and another girl from Rain HK was standing beside us laughing and asking us why all three of us where crying? They kinda answered their question “Oh they’re sooo happy!!!” hahaha everybody started to look at us with amused expressions but I guess they knew. We were all that close to Bi, and even for a moment we all had a little taste of heaven...aaaahhhh!!!!

After the JSG show we were still on cloud nine hahaha…felt like I had clouds stuffed in my head and RAIN just kept pouring in. On to the fans meet, don’t actually remember what time we left the hotel. We met Kit at the Mongkok station went for a bit of shopping at the Ladies Bazaar then headed to the Hong Kong Side where the convention hall was. From the station it was a 10 minute walk through the sky bridges. We entered the hall to happily find out we had fairly good seats, 15 rows from the stage!!! Took pics of the stage and pics of us posing with the stage as our backdrop.

It was a short wait when Bi came on stage... he was wearing a black trimmed white Louis Vuitton coat that looked really good on him. The fans really went wild when he came out waving and again flashing that sweet smile of his (aaaahhhhh !!! can't get enough of his smile). He still had his shades on but eventually took them off...and those eyes gently disappearing when he laughs, smiles and grins. Can’t imagine how a guy can look this gorgeous. It was hard for us ‘cause we didn’t understand what they were talking about. Kit was generous enough to translate but of course it was impossible for her to do it all. They brought out a cake, we sang happy birthday and proceeds to cut the cake. Bi performed “It’s Raining” again and I even if I’ve seen him a thousand times performing “It’s Raining” in all the clips I’ve downloaded and live the night before, he just performs it as if he’s performing it for the first time. ALWAYS! It’s always different, I guess he wants to make each performance special for each fan watching. He had some technical problems with his mic at the start, they gave him another and it wasn’t working either. The dancers stopped dancing and resumed when BI tested his mic by saying “Yo! Yo!” ~~so cute!!! Even if the fan meeting lasted for around 20 minutes it was worth it! If you’re a Bi fan a drop of Rain would quench whatever longing you have for him…but then again wouldn’t it just make you ask for more ? hahahaha

Mad Dash and Hasty Scramble Part 3:
When the fans meeting ended, I was still packing up all my things and I just saw Kit and Bambie hastily leaving the hall. I just threw all my things inside my purse with Ziel helping me and we hurriedly followed them. We had very little time to get to Discovery Mall, it was on the other side of Hong Kong and Kit decided that we should just take the MTR because she wasn’t sure of the congestion at the street level. So from the Convention Center it was another mad dash through Hong Kong’s Sky Bridges. This time around I really thought I was going to get a cramp, I already had a stitch on my side that was poking painfully. I was all sticky and sweaty and out of breath and to top it all when we were getting our single journey train tickets (hindsight really has 20/20 vision – we should’ve gotten the octopus card from the start!!!) we ran out of change!!! We emptied all our pockets, coin purses, wallets and only to find out we were $5.40 short!!! God Bless Kit…she used her charm and borrowed change from the guy who was getting tickets beside us hahaha. That was soooo hilarious!!! God bless that Hong Kong stranger too for helping poor tourists like us !!! So we got to rest in the long train ride to the mall went down 4 stations from our real destination and took a cab from there.
When we got to the mall, the place was just packed to the rafters!!! If you wanted a good view of Ji Hoon its either you had tickets for the mall event, was there early or like what other very resourceful fans did buy anything that you can stand on! So I tried in vain to get good pics with my digital but he was just too far, got fairly good ones blurry and dark though. I tried with my SLR at least it was equipped with a zoom lens, although I’m tall the angle was really bad. There was this group of girls beside me who went out and bought a pail to stand on hahaha, I asked her ‘cause at least she had a clear view, she took pics with my SLR but I haven’t had the chance to have it developed ~~18 shots to go. So the mall thing was actually quite uneventful, he didn’t perform, saw him a bit far, but enough to make me happy ‘cause I know he was there and we were breathing the same stale mall air hahaha. It was still worth the stitch, the cramp that almost happened, the short change and the pushing and little shoving, I still saw BI albeit the distance, and that’s the most important thing. It was still an experience, and no real fan would just give up!
A good send-off for Baby Bi =)
[color=darkblue]We left the mall Kit told us she’d treat us with authentic Chinese food. So there we were walking in the sky bridges looking down at the street and there was a commotion of sorts near the intersection. It was Ji Hoon’s van plus another car that was leading his van, fans were running to see him off. Although we were on the sky bridge, his van had the curtains shut we still waved and yelled like crazy!!! It was a good send-off for Bi and it also signaled the end of our crazy Hong Kong experience stalking the most gorgeous, most lovable, adorable, gifted, accomplished, savvy and brilliant man in the world. Interview with Bi in Australia:

Part 1:

Is this your first time in Australia?
This is my third time visiting Australia.
The first time I came here was for my music video, then I came here again because of CF’s, and I’m here again for another CF and sort of like a vacation.
We filmed my first album in Australia, but no one noticed.
I was sort of upset about that. When we made that music video it was difficult, and it was really cold.

What do you feel about Australia?
My first expression was that it was clean and that it was warm. They’re really nice.
This is my third time here, but I didn’t see any Koala’s or Kangaroos.
I only saw a lot of horses, cows, and sheep.
So I felt like something was lacking.
It feels a lot like the first time I came here. It’s peaceful and it seems like a nice place to live.

When you’re in the airplane what do you do the most?
I usually kill time by playing games.
When my fans recognize me I usually give them my autographs.
This time I took a night plane so I slept most of the way.
Because of my tight schedule I couldn’t sleep that well, but in the plane I took a really long nice nap. And you know, those naps are the best.
I also enjoy eating the food they give out.

When you get on and off of the plane, whom do you call?
Of course it’s my family. But there are sometimes when I call my friends.
I usually call my dad, my dad always tells me to take care of myself, eat a lot, and he tells to come back safely.
I usually use roaming service; I call so often that it doesn’t really feel that we are apart.
The funny thing is that when I’m overseas family and friends always ask, “Did you eat?” They always have to make sure. Just, that just made me curious.

What do you usually pack in your bags?
I always pack my own bags. There’s nothing in particular that I pack.
Even though the vacation is long I don’t take that much clothes. Countries like Australia that are hot I usually wear white sleeveless shirts.
One shirt, sneakers, jeans, training pants, sunglasses, and my hat are a must.
The rest of the clothes I need I buy it on the vacation, so I usually just by my clothes then and there.

Do you get comfortable with unknown places easily?
Even on vacations I sleep and eat pretty well.
Beside me there are the steps that are like older brothers and sister so even though it’s uncomfortable I usually get used to it.
Everything is how you deal with and take it in really.
“Even though I die, I have to do this.” Those things I always do. But things that you have to give up I give up, but I usually don’t give things up easily.
The truth is my character usually changes often like at different places and at different times.
There is also a tempered side of me, even though we were really close if our personalities don’t match I usually cut that person off.

Part 2:

Is there a vacationing place that is memorable?
I like all cities. My favorite city is La because they have lots of clothes.
I go to LA because of work but after we finished filming, shopping is my greatest pleasure.
Also in LA there are a lot of Korean people but they don’t recognize me.
All this time and all the places I’ve gone Paris has the most beautiful scenery and buildings.

Then so far what city fits with you the best?
Mmm, I think Soul fits me the best.
I like our country the best. Even though they have good stuff, I looked around at other countries nowhere is as free and peaceful as Korea.
Of course when I go abroad and people don’t notice me and I feel free, but still Soul is the best.
Lately I’ve been out of the country and spending most of the time away from home, I could have gotten homesick.
Anyway, the place I lived for 20 years fits me the best.

When you’re on a vacation, what do you have to buy?
First I have to buy sneakers. Almost on every single vacation, I think it’s a habit
Also, I also buy a lot of clothes that are out for donation, used clothes.
I like things that are intresting and unique so I usually buy accessories that easily come to the eye, so I usually just buy those.
The truth is, I never buy anything expensive, because I won’t wear it. When I give gifts to my family I give them simple shirts or something like that.

When you went shopping is there a story you would like to tell?
I like the Marc Jacobs fragrance a lot lately.
It’s perfume but I really liked the smell of it, usually I use that one.
So when I first knew about this smell, it was in an American gay shop.
Coincidentally I went in there and a black man had on the smell, so I asked him what it was.
After that I bought it and kept using the perfume.
Oh, please don’t misunderstand. ^^;

You really enjoy driving, right?
Yes! I really like to drive. When I touch the handle I have to go for a quick ride, then I’ll be satisfied.
I really like sports cars. Because they look cool! But I don’t want to have one right now. Later when I’m 50-60, I think that’s the right time.
At first you think it’s going to fit you really well, but that’s just what people think.
When grandpa’s where jeans don’t they look better? That’s why I tell my dad to wear jeans.

Right now, do you get along with the people well?
Right now I don’t think I’m on the close side of the people.
But I get along with the models I’m shooting with pretty well.
From my side if I go open-heartedly and I’m comfortable around them, I think they come open-heartedly too. Even though my English isn’t that great it was ok?
If I just smile really big they smile back at me.

Part 3:

Before you became a star what was the most memorable vacation?
I went to the Dea Jun Beach with a couple of my friends. But this is actually a sad memory. We didn’t have any money so we couldn’t eat correctly and we didn’t have a place to sleep.
Maybe it was because it was the vacationing time one ramen was about $8 - $9 and the dwean jang jee kea was about $14 - $10. At the end with my friends we ate ramen but we were still really hungry. It is a bad memory, but after all if you think about it, it is a memory. Now, when I travel I can travel really bountiful.
Hahaha~~~maybe because of that now when I go to a nice hotel I’m really happy.

Then after you became a star what was the most memorable vacation?
Before I was with Dream Team and I really liked the group.
The Country KoKo Hyungs, Sang Jin Hyung, and some other people and I have a really fun memory of that.
That was while I was becoming a star, and I had less time on my hands then.
Right now I don’t have the time in my heart, which is kind of a loss.

Did you ever go on a vacation by yourself?
Never, not once. I don’t even have in mind going on a vacation by myself.
When I’m on a vacation I always have to have someone to talk to.
Because if you go by yourself you’ll be lonely. If I did go on a vacation I would like to go with my closest friends.
You can cuss when you want to, just a friend that you can speak freely too. Right now friends that I point out, I have other than celebrities, are three people. With those three friends I want to go on a trip.

Do you have any past memories about the ocean?
Yes, probably because I really enjoy swimming.
If you say the ocean, I have many funny memories about it.
But out of those before I drank beer with Jin Young Hyung and swam.
Uh, this isn’t good for kid’s~but anyway the water was really cold and it felt good.

You enjoy fishing too?
I really like it. When I go on a fishing trip with my dad I just sit there for three hours without moving.
During the time we wait together we just talk about this and that. After you wait along time and you catch a big fish, you feel really proud.
After we catch the fish we just let it go. My dad says that if you’re not hungry you should just let it back go.

When you go on a vacation, what do you feel the most?
Lately I’ve been feeling I’ve been spending too much time abroad.
It’s because I spend so little time, but of course I always feel like I should spend more time with my family.
Going on trips are fun, but I always think about my family.
Maybe it’s because I’m the oldest.
I especially want to take care of my little sister.

Right now what position would you rank yourself?
Right now, I think I’m right at the middle.
My 2nd album did make a success; I still have a long way to go. I still have things I want to practice and I still have a lot of things to learn.
Anyway, I don’t care how other people rank me. The most important thing is that if I’m satisfied. I still have a ways to go.
Because you’re busy are there times when is it hard or tiring?
Even after the 2nd album shows my schedule was really tough, I had no time to rest.
But that doesn’t mean I was tired, but that’s really me. From one day even though I met my friends or new people it was no fun.
Right after I finished working I feel complete and satisfied.
Don’t misunderstand me! That doesn’t mean I’m a workaholic.
The real workaholic is Jin-Young Hyung.
At least I’m lazy once in a while. Sometimes I do more than I should, sometimes I don’t.
Sometimes I oversleep and that’s when I’m lazy.

In the future where/how do you want to go?
I always want to be truthful and life confidently.
I also want to live with lots of effort.
I don’t want to become lazy, but that doesn’t mean I want to be a workaholic, I just want to keep going.
Like right now I want to work enjoying it.
I want to show a more truthful me from me.

Is there one country you would like to go to?
Japan. I really want to go there. The truth is, I went there a couple of times but I still want to go again. I don’t want to go to Japan to shop.
I think there are lots of interesting things in the country. First the scenery and the culture are unique.
Next year I’m planning to go to Japan next year to promote my album. I hope that time hurry’s up and come. I’ll just have to wait.

How well do you think your English is?
I know the basic that you need to go on a vacation.
When I order food or when I go shopping I’m pretty good, but I can’t get into anything more complex.
Japanese is a little easier to communicate for me. Because I study it, Japanese is at first easy but then it get harder and harder.
But I can do it. Before I made my 2nd album I even had a Japanese tutor, but now I forgot most of it.
But from now, I’m expecting to study it again.

What is your personal dream vacation?
If I have a girlfriend I want to go to a resort with her.
Like the Phillippines. First because I like things that are hot, and I like the ocean.Also because there are things that I like shrimp, fish, and food that came out of the sea. But out of all, mostly the beach. I want to go water-skiing with my girlfriend.
A lot of people are saying that I stay away from girls and I like guys.
But that’s not true, I LIKE GIRLS!

After you finish the job in Australia where are you going?
First I’m going to Beijing and meet up with Jin-Young hyung. I think we’re going to open a showcase there. We’re going to show the promotion. Probably in the middle of April I’ll be probably be overseas to the different Asian countries
