24번째 생일을 맞은 비(23)가 중국, 대만, 홍콩, 일본, 필리핀, 한국 등 2000여명의 팬들 앞에서 깜짝 이상형을 공개했다.

지난 25일 오후 7시 30분 서울 월계동 광운대학교 문화관에서 열린 비의 생일파티를 겸한 팬미팅에서 그는 "좋은 옷보다는 길거리에서 파는 옷이라도 내추럴한 것이 좋다"면서 "청바지와 티를 입어도 나한테는 최고"라고 밝혔다.

또한, 비는 깜짝 이상형을 공개해 팬들을 설레게 만들었다. 비는 뱃살이 있는 사람, 생머리에 청바지를 즐겨입고 오징어볶음을 만들 수 있는 여자를 이상형으로 꼽았다. 이어 그는 "안았을 때 내 가슴에 들어올 수 있는 여자를 좋아한다"면서 "그래도 이 세상에서 나를 가장 사랑蠻獵?사람이 이상형"이라고 말했다.

Korean pop star Rain celebrated his 23rd birthday Saturday with a party attended by more than 2,000 passionate fans not just from Korea but from China, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong and the Philippines.

The party, held at an auditorium of Kwangwoon University in Seoul, started off by showing images of Rain as he emerged from the stage following the performance of his song "Nan" from his first album. After his enthusiastic performance cooled down, Rain introduced Yoon Jeong-soo, saying that "he is probably the guy who has helped me the most in my life. He often gives me advice when I am in trouble."

Yoon, a gagman who emceed the event, joked, "He picked one of my hundreds of useful experiences and ideas and manipulated it really well. Especially dancing, I taught him three-level popping. I am very proud of his performance and its success."

Rain, fresh from his recent Asian tour, received a glass bottle filled with different kinds of coins made in 1982, the year he was born. Yoon joked again, "Coins are from different nations, but there is not one Japanese coin, because they don't put dates on their coins."

Also at the event, Rain revealed that an ideal girlfriend for him would be actress Song Hye-kyo, surprising many fans in attendance.

Unlike the most other singers, his fans are not limited to a certain age group; they range from 4-year-olds to old ladies.

"I love Rain so much that I even want to marry him. I never missed a single episode from his drama, 'Full House,'" said a 48-year-old lady from Hong Kong. "He is a hard working kid, too."

Other fans also praised him for his perseverance and effort.

Not only he is a big star, but Rain can also be a catalyst in promoting cultural exchanges among different Asian nations.

In July, Rain is planning to make his first trip to Hong Kong for three days and hold a press conference about his album "It's Raining." He is also scheduled to meet one of the world's biggest stars, Jackie Chan.

"About 1,000 people are going to the Hong Kong airport to welcome Rain," one of the Hong Kong's Rain fan club members said.

*A review of the RAIN's 24th birthday party (24 by Korean age)*

June 25, 2005
5:30 pm. Arrived at the party venue, cued up for seating instructions.
6:00 pm. Enter the building, met Kitlam when she was in the hall for rehearsal of their performance. Her and her friends looked very excited about the event.
7:00 pm. Enter the Munhwa Hall, and seated.
An announcement about RAIN's being late. He was held up by a press conference.
7:30 pm ~ The party started in the following order:
1) RAIN showed up through a star shaped entrance, singing Na (I; My Way).
2) An mc was introduced. (Yoon, Jeongsu is the name)
3) Birthday cake cutting. The cake represented the shale of cloud, thus meant RAIN is surrounded/protected/loved by CLOUD.
4) opening the presents.
RAIN got permission to open the presents if he gave correct answers for the questions. The questions were quite easy. RAIN randomly chose the presents: 2 from Japanese fans, 2 from HK fans. Some from Korean fans. HK fans presented a traditional Chinese top (black and green inner lined one). RAIN tried it on: nice, of course!
5) Looking for an ideal woman for RAIN
some of the fans were chosen to meet RAIN on the stage. The selection criteria were plumpy tummy; long straight hair; good at cooking a cuttlefish dish; looks good in a jeans; a rather cuddly woman; with a nice long fingers; only loves RAIN. Several number of ladies were chosen by the mc, and went up to the stage, got a handshake and a hug. A group photo of RAIN and the ladies on the stage.
6) Fan talent time
Dancing and singing performance by fans from different countries: HK (Kitlam's team), CHINA (one man was there and looked very nervous), Taiwan, Japan (The famous Kansai dancers) and Korea (We actually have a near professional dancing team. They are so good and make a parody of RAIN's dance. Three little girls (one yr 9, two yr 10) = 3LG ?, named themselves as ¡ "hailstones"
7) Videos from fans of overseas
Messages to celebrate RAINs birthday. I remembered the words from the fans of the Philippines.
RAIN singing Almyeonseo (Though I knew; You know)
9) Fan reads her love letter to RAIN
A lady came up to the stage and read her ¡ "love letter" in front of RAIN. (Recording of this can be found from #3140 by "cloud9." First one is what RAIN said after he listened to the fan letter, the second one is RAIN's letter.
10) RAIN read his letter to all of his fans.
11) RAIN singing It's RAINing.

Bi's gonna be at Angels Stadium on July 30th!!!

There's going to be a baseball game with Korean celebs vs American celebs and he's coming!!! I don't know if he's actually gonna play or not, but he's going to be there. I heard this from my dad who heard it from the guy who's organizing it! And since he's my dad's friend, he might let me hang out with them in the dug out thing during the game! I'm so excited

Singer Rain has been invited to perform at the pre-match show of the game
between the British premier league team Manchester United and Japan's Kashima
Antlers on July 28 at 7 p.m. at the Tokyo Yoyoki National Stadium. Some 50,000
spectators are expected to attend the match.

Manchester United, which comprises some of the world's top players such as
Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney, recently came into the spotlight when
Korean soccer star Park Ji-sung joined the team. Rain is likely to meet with Park
at the match.

Both the match and the pre-match show will be broadcast live throughout Japan by
Fuji TV. The match is expected to record high viewer ratings as Manchester United
created a sensation during its previous visit to Japan.

"It is quite rare for Manchester United to hold pre-match shows at goodwill
matches. Many top Japanese artists expressed their willingness to perform at the
match, but the players and the team's senior officials chose Rain," said JYP
Entertainment, Rain's agency.

Rain said he is honored to have the opportunity to perform at the match of
Manchester United, as he is a fan of the team, and will do his best to stage a
superb performance that will be broadcast to Japan and Europe.

The singer will hold his first solo concert in Japan, entitled "Rain Day In Japan", on
July 30-31 at the Tokyo International Forum and Aug. 3-4 at the Osaka Pension
Hall.

Singer Rain has been invited to perform at the pre-match show of the game
between the British premier league team Manchester United and Japan's Kashima
Antlers on July 28 at 7 p.m. at the Tokyo Yoyoki National Stadium. Some 50,000
spectators are expected to attend the match.


"It is quite rare for Manchester United to hold pre-match shows at goodwill
matches. Many top Japanese artists expressed their willingness to perform at the

The singer will hold his first solo concert in Japan, entitled "Rain Day In Japan", on

Hello everyone! I saw this posted at the GMA thread, was just excited to share it with you guys. Hay, sana next time visit na sila dito di ba?

Kararating lang nina Jessica Soho at Joey Abacan mula sa Korea. In-interview ni Jessica sina Song Hye-kyo at Rain, mga bida ng Full House at sinamahan siya ni Joey. Isa sa mga araw na ito'y, mapapanood ang nasabing interview sa two of the hottest stars of Korea kundi sa Full House ay sa Kapuso Mo, Jessica Soho.

Malalaman natin ang reaction ng dalawa't kahit malayo sila'y sikat na sikat sila sa bansa at marami silang Pinoy fans. Mas maganda sana kung dadalhin ng Channel 7 ang dalawa rito kahit matatapos na ang kanilang show dahil may bago namang K-drama si Rain entitled Cruel Love.

After the performance of South Korean actress, Lee Young Ae, the recent hottest Korean idol, Rain, yesterday began his album promotion tour in Hong Kong, sparking a 'Korean Downpour.' Even before arriving in Beijing, his Chinese fans were already in great awe and excitement. Despite the fact that this is the fourth visit to the capital, his fan base has increased greatly over time.

Upon arrival at Beijing airport, he was greeted by hundreds of adoring fans. Although he appeared smiling in his trendy sunglasses, he was not as friendly as his usual self. Nonetheless, at the signature event later in the afternoon, he was overwhelmed by the enthusiasm of thousands of his passionate fans and once adapting to the burning Beijing weather he willingly shook hands with his fans, whom were immersed by his presence.

Prior to Rain’s arrival

Rain had initially planned to arrive in Beijing, at 10.40AM, but because of delays in the flight schedule, the fans, most of whom had arrived at the airport at 9AM, could only wait impatiently for his arrival.
