hi!! ei, sis ( can I call you sis?) thanks for introducing me to sang doo… just finished watching….waahhhh!!! cant help but laugh with his antics and cry with him in his miseries….it’s what you said, it’s worth buying the series…..so good and a lot more!!! Although I thought near the ending they were both….(mali pala ako!!).. thank you again….



Abt sang doo.. after watching the series that it hit me that this story is not just any other stories, it talks about all kinds of love as in ( love forgives, it hurts, sacrifice, giving up even if it means hurting you just to see someone you love happy)..yung lahat ng defintion na nilalagay natin sa slumbook natib dati swak din… (read the poem, love is…. Sa bible ata yun not sure.. and listen to the song of nina, yung love moves in mysterious ways) that’s the best description of sang doo… the cast is just perfect…and although hindi maganda yung lead na girl ang galing pa rin nya umiyak….



Scenes I liked the best…. Yung kumanta si sang doo ( I did my best…).. yung ginugupitan nya si bori… yung part kinompronta ni sera si mother… yung pinipigil nyang umiyak sa harap ni min-suk…yung sa umpisa yung inagaw nya ung music box sa humahakot ng gamit nina eu hwan..



Didn’t like much… yung ending mismo, how come na parang they live so faar away? Away from their family.. di ko matnggap na medyo ilag pa rin sila sa isat isa up to the end

Cruel Love to be aired by SBS in September

With the main leads as Multi Entertainer Bi & Go SoYoung, Cruel Love is going to be aired by SBS in September. Kim Jong Hyuk PD who produced SBS "Bom Nal" is going to produce this drama.

On Go SoYoung's side, they said "Bi & Go SoYoung are going to start filming the drama sometimes this month or early next month." According to them, Bi & Go Soyoung are going to go overseas together to film Cruel Love sometimes during July.

It has been decided that Kim JongHyuk PD who produced "Bom Nal" will taken on Cruel Love. SBS Cruel Love will air in September.

Bi met with NewsEn in Tokyo Hall and talked about the making and airing of Cruel Love.

On May 29th, the VMAJ2005 was held at Tokyo Bay NK Hall. Bi gained lots of popularity in Korea & Asia so at the VMAJ2005, BI recieved the Best Buzz Asia from Korea Award. The next day after he recieved the award, he met with a Korean news reporter at the Tokyo Hotel. During an interview he said "There is a possibility that i will come out in drama this fall. If i do a drama, there is a big chance that i will do 'Cruel Love.' "

Even after "Cruel Love" went through several problems because of casting, Bi still had a strong attachment to the drama. The reason was "First of all, the script is really good. I like the character i'm playing. Through this role, i think i can show a different side of me, i never showed before."

Regarding Bi's partner Go SoYoung, he had said "I had several meals with Go SoYoung, she is really a great person."

"Cruel Love" was planned to air in May by MBC but due to several problems, it was canceled. Now it is going to aired by SBS in September.

RAIN wins Japan MTV awards, eyes US

Seoul --- Rain (Justin in Full House), who received an award at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2005 on May 29, said in an interview on May 30 that he is now poised to establish his presence in the US, a KBS Global news report said.

Rain gave the interview at the Capital Doku Hotel in Japan, where he has been staying to participate in the MTV VMAJ 2005 and promote his new album.

"I received an award at the MTV Asia Aid in Thailand earlier in February, and this time at the MTV VMAJ 2005. My next goal is to win an award at the MTV China Awards in August. I hope this 'MTV Grand Slam' will serve as a springboard for my advancement to the American market," said Rain.

Rain won the "Favorite Artist of Korea" award at the MTV Asia Aid, which was held Feb.3 in Thailand, and the "Best Buzz Asia from Korea" award at the MTV VMAJ 2005 on May 29.

"MTV Asia awards are highly regarded in the US. I heard it is much easier to make inroads into the US market after completing the MTV Grand Slam, which will be possible if I win an MTV China award as well," said Rain.

Rain also added that he once again felt how talented Korean artists are at the MTV VMAJ 2005, saying that artists such as Hui-sung and Park Hyo-shin have strong potential to receive recognition from MTV.

Rain, who is riding high in popularity in Japan, China and Thailand, has emerged as a rising "world star" and is soon to record songs with "hip-hop queen" Lil' Kim.

"I am still making first steps toward becoming a globally renowned artist. Fortunately, audiences like my songs. And I feel the urgent need to speak English fluently. Strong English skills would be of great help in terms of communication and my career," said Rain.

드라마 ‘태왕사신기’의 투자ㆍ배급ㆍ마케팅을 담당하는 투자전문회사 SSD의 자료에 따르면 백제 아신왕 수 역에 비가 유력한 것으로 전해졌다.

주인공 광개토대왕 담덕 역에 배용준의 캐스팅이 확정된 상태에서 백제 아신왕 수 역을 과연 누가 맡을 것인지에 대해 이야기가 분분했다.

수는 극중 담덕의 라이벌로 담덕과 같은 비중의 주연급 인물. 귀족적 이미지의 수려한 외모를 갖춘 배우로 비가 수 역에 가장 적임자로 거론되고 있다. 비 측도 “제작진으로부터 출연 제의를 받았으며 결정을 고민하고 있는 중”이라고 밝혔다.

여주인공 수지니 역에는 현재 김태희와 하지원 혹은 신인급 여배우가 물망에 올랐다. 아직까지 결정된 사항은 없지만 수지니 역은 스타급 연기자가 아닌 신인 연기자가 맡을 가능성 또한 높다.

I look like my mom, but I was a daddy's boy when I was a kid.
My dad used to teach me how to ride a horse. The horse was really big,
but I was not afraid of the brown animal. (See? I was smiling on the horse.)

I also enjoyed wrestling with my dad. "Dad, I think I should become a pro wrestler. My name will be Black Shark," I told him. My dad and I were like good friends.

But my happy days didn?t last that long. My dad was a businessman.
When I was 17, his company went out of business.

He then had to leave for Brazil to make money for our family.

After my dad left for Brazil, I tried to keep my promise to my dad
that I would take care of my mom and younger sister for him.

At that time, I also entered Anyang High School of Art to dedicate myself
to learning more about singing, dancing and acting.

When I was a teen, I was really eager to be a singer, so I made my first debut in 1998 as one of the members of "Fan Club," a hip hop boy band.
As you can see my picture below, I was a small, cute boy without much muscle (laugh).

Unfortunately, when I debuted, my mom's health was getting worse.

About that time, I met Park Jin-young.

When I met Park Jin-young, he suggested that I join his company as
a singer trainee. I accepted. After that, I started to learn more about singing, dancing and even acting.

At that time, my mother was getting worse. Park really worried about my mother and my family. He even paid money for my mother's medical care. He was my teacher, big brother, and my friend. When my mother passed away in December 2000, I decided to become a top singer to honor my mother.

I started my career as a backstage dancer of Park Ji-yoon. After two year of training, I finally made my debut as "Rain." I chose that name, because I love a rainy day (smile). When I debuted, some people told me I wouldn't be a big star because of my small eyes. But, most people loved the way I danced and sang.

I really appreciate all my fans. I have to leave you guys now. Bye, all my Junior Herald friends.

Rain's Tokyo Concert Sold Out In 30 Seconds

Korea Superstar, Rain, has achieved a "30 Seconds Miracle" in Japan.

Rain will perform on July 30th and 31st his "Rainy Day Tour" at the Japanese Tokyo International Center. The admission tickets were to be sold officially on June 11th at 10 AM, and after 30 seconds, the concert was sold out.

In reality, the admission tickets were under pre-order at the end of May and were gaining great popularity, and the admission tickets for the two performances were sold out officially 30 seconds after the 10 AM, which surprises many people.

A Japanese staff member excitedly said that, "Including other Korean stars who are popular in Japan, many other international superstars has performed in Japan. But selling out after 30 seconds was the first time for me."

This tickets will be very high priced in the black market. And additional performances at Osaka on August 3rd and 4th will likely to be very popular as well.

From this popularity, Rain's representative company, JYP Corporation, will prepare for other large-scale concerts in Japan.

This year, Rain had performed in "MTV Asia Aid", and won at Japan's MTV Video Music Award and Thailand's Channel V Thailand Award. And his stardom is gaining in Asia.

Furthermore, RAIN has planned to attend the promotion of his new CD in Beijing, also attending China's MTV Award and on the 3rd he will be visiting HONGKONG to promote his new CD.

Rain Gets Ready to Pour It On
June 14 2005

Having gone from just another dancer backing up singer Park Ji-Yoon to become a superstar performing in his own right, for the last three years Rain has shown K-pop nothing but nonstop action. His first song "Bad Guy (Nabbun Namja)" was a sensation that took him to all the local major award ceremonies, many of which honored him with the best new artist awards.

His following recording efforts didn't fail to deliver. "How to Run From the Sun (Taeyangul Pihanun Pangbob)," his first single from the sophomore recording, and "It's Raining" from his third album of the same title dominated the charts at No. 1 for weeks. So it is pretty much safe to say Rain's career has been heading in only one direction up.

Geographically, the situation is a bit more complicated as his career has taken the singer everywhere. With Korea pretty much covered, last year Rain officially started to make his way into Japan to the east and China to the west. Just last month Rain performed alongside American diva Mariah Carey and Japanese superstar Amuro Namie at the MTV Video Music Awards Japan 2005, held at the NK Hall in Tokyo.

Not only was he invited as a performing artist but the 23-year-old singer was there to pick up the "Best Buzz Asia from Korea" award. With the exception of J-pop outfits, Rain was the only other singer from the Asian region. The line-up that night included Ashanti, Hoobastank and Jamiroquai.

Rain sang and danced to "It’s Raining," the title track from his most recent third album. Hong Kong-based daily 'Mingbao', reported in April that the results to an online poll showed that Chinese Internet users ranked Rain the fifth most popular South Korean celebrity. Actors Song Seung-hun and Bae Yong-joon were among those ranked ahead of him.

"What I've learned from my experiences performing is that I can’t be performing lost in the thought that "Oh. I am hot," he told the Yonhap News Agency in an interview backstage of the recent MTV Video Music Awards Japan. "What I do is try to get the party started by working with the audience."

Rain had already been honored with a guest spot at MTV Asia Aid earlier this spring. Having pocketed two MTV honors already all he needs is to score at next month’s MTV Music Video Awards China to be the first Asian performer to have achieved a grand slam.

Rain said that he plans to work hard but his hopes are high.

"Being the first Asian MTV grand slammer would guarantee my popularity here. My chances of making appearances on American MTV would then be greater," he said. Rain is currently recording his next album, set for release November according to his agency JYP Entertainment.

The album will be released in South Korea and in Japan simultaneously. However unlike his Japanese debut album, which happens to be the same as his third domestic release, with the only addition of the Japanese version of "I Do." His second Japanese album up for release will include some different tracks from the one that will hit local record stores. (Korea)

In the meanwhile Rain will give concerts in Tokyo on July 30 and 31 and August 3 and 4 in Osaka. All 11,000 tickets to the Tokyo leg of his "Rainy Day" tour sold in under 30 seconds when the ticket box opened on the morning of June 10. His Osaka concerts look as if they will sell out soon said JYP Entertainment. Rain, who has given impressive performances in two TV dramas ("Sangduya Haggyo Kaja" in 2003 and "Full House" in 2004), has chosen his next role.

Rain will star opposite Ko So-young in miniseries "Motdwen Sarang," which is slated to premier in September on MBC. Given the fact that both his performance in Full House garnered him with the Best Actor Award at the KBS Acting Awards, already fans are wondering how Rain will go about playing the rich pompous Yong-ki who falls in love with In-jong (Ko).
