Kim Rae Won, who partnered with Kim Tae Hui in the beautiful and romantic TV series ‘Love Story in Harvard’, has agreed to perform in an action comedy. The male character in ‘Mr. Socrates’ (Director: 최진원) lived an aimless and rotting life until he met some rival in life and changed for the better.

At first glance, this movie has qualities of an action movie, but as a whole it is a mixture of comedy and action movie. Kim Rae Ron will play an adorable but tough guy. His youthful playfulness will surely be irresistible.

According to his managing agency, Blue Dragon, Kim Rae Won has always hoped to play more masculine roles in his works. As his former works are mainly romantic dramas, he hoped the coming movie will bring laughter to and impress audience.

<이혜인기자> “We’ll surely meet again in Taiwan,” Kim Rae Won said sincerely to reporters coming from Taiwan.

On March 9, 34 Taiwanese reporters interviewed Kim Rae Won and Kim Tae Hui, who costarred ‘Love Story in Harvard’. At the venue of the press conference, Coral Room of Seoul Hilton Hotel, there were a crowd of Korean reporters in addition to those from Taiwan.

Kim Rae Won greeted the reporters with bright smiles and said, “I’m not good at remembering faces but now I remember you all.” He then greeted them with Chinese in short and that caused a round of applause.

Kim Rae Won, who had visited Taiwan before, appeared very pleased throughout the interview. He was very happy to receive a traditional Taiwanese scarf as present, and he told reporters that he still kept the pottery that he got when he was in Taiwan last time.

Responding to reporters’s question: Kwon Sang Woo of ‘Stairsways to Heaven’ and Kim Rae Won of ‘Love Story in Harvard’, who is your ideal type of guys?, Kim Tae Hui answered with a great smile, “You all came for ‘Love Story in Harvard, so surely I have to say it’s Kim Rae Won.”

She added that her ideal-type-of-guy should be kind, humorous and can make one feel secure. She did not respond to questions regarding boyfriends.

Looking at his partner in the drama, Kim Tae Hui said, “I became his fan after watching ‘Attic Cat’. I was so happy that we worked together in a drama.” She also said, “The filming process in the US was a very pleasant experience. A lot of interesting things happened.”

Kim Rae Won told reporters his thoughts about Kim Tae Hui, his partner in the SBS drama series ‘Love Story in Harvard’.

Responding to reporters’ question on how he felt about Kim Tae Hui on their first time working together, Kim Rae Won said cheerfully, “I like Kim Tae Hui very very much. She’s really pretty.”

Kim Rae Won, who partnered with Kim Tae Hui in the beautiful and romantic TV series ‘Love Story in Harvard’, has agreed to perform in an action comedy. The male character in ‘Mr. Socrates’ (Director: 최진원) lived an aimless and rotting life until he met some rival in life and changed for the better.

At first glance, this movie has qualities of an action movie, but as a whole it is a mixture of comedy and action movie. Kim Rae Ron will play an adorable but tough guy. His youthful playfulness will surely be irresistible.

According to his managing agency, Blue Dragon, Kim Rae Won has always hoped to play more masculine roles in his works. As his former works are mainly romantic dramas, he hoped the coming movie will bring laughter to and impress audience.

3/25/05 - Kim Rae Won will leave for Japan on 4/17 and stay there for 10 days. He will have his fan meeting with about 800 fans in Japan on 4/24 and be interviewed by Japanese news media.
