The Hospital OST appears to have many errors
that HIM International will had to totally recover and put it back again

Summary

The Hospital TV serial emphasizes fine quality. However, there are fans who reported that the audio print quality of the OST was repeatedly erroneous. HIM International Music Corp. frankly took the blame that the lyrics and the CD both created many unintentional flaws, and finally will take the responsibility to exchange every product which the fans brought. According to those indicated, the erroneous cuts are Track No. 1 “Never Say Goodbye” with a wrong lyrics and Track No.14 with a strange sound quality. But that is not all. The composer of Track No.18 is Liang Hong Zhi but was erroneously written in Track No.14. Track 17 had no guitar sound but it was noted in the flyer that it had. Fans criticized that it even included Jerry’s cut of the opening song at the “cover package with Jerry’s drama photo” However, upon careful scrutiny at the back cover, one can find that Jerry’s opening song is not really included. In addition, every track’s “Teaser ad” music and the previous ads are not seen. Fans resented that these advertisements are not really true.

Just they other day, HIM had already produced the mother CD. Producer Huang Yun Ling confirmed they will shortly announce on how fans can easily exchange their copies with the corrected version, with about 5000-6000 unsold copies still in the market to be taken out because of its errors. In addition, it should not take credit of the opening song. HIM regretted that although Jerry had discussed it with SONY BMG many times already, they still didn’t got authorization. Yet, the OST cover sheet is in accordance with the contract with the drama producers of the poster. HIM really won’t maliciously mislead the fans.

Jerry Yan Losts his way while visiting friend, Playing Hide & Seek at the hospital, Friday September 15, 2006 Taiwan

In July last year, Jerry Yan went to China to see Lin Zhi Ling who was injured there. When the news came out, reporters were dying for thirst when they merely saw a backview of Jerry. The night before, the scene repeated itself at San Jun Zhong hospital. Even though he knows the media was following and taking pictures, he still ran straight to the wards. Asked who is he visiting ? He replied without answering, "Are you guys filming a pictorial ?" His assistant Fenny explained that he was there to see a male friend.

At 10pm on the 13th, Jerry walked out of Jin Hua hotel with his friend. As Zhang Ziyi, Zhou Xun and Daniel Wu who was in Taiwan to promote their movie were all staying at that hotel, shocking Jerry when a huge group of media cut in front of him suddenly. However, he still kept calm and autographed for a male fan. He, who was in a rather good mood even told the fan on his own accord, "I think i've seen you before."

When Jerry left on the car, the car first turned to Taipei's Lin Lin Bei Road and waited till his other friend drove another car here before he switch to go on the other car, seemed to want to get the reporters off his back.


The moment he reached Nei Hu's San Zhong hospital, he rushed straight to the wards. Along the way, he covered his face, laughing and bending to see his way and said, "This is so exggerating." Asked who is he visiting ? He answered without refferring to the question, "You guys are filming a pictorial." And with the escort of the hospital's security, he disappeared in the wards.

Jerry's assistant, Fenny, yesterday expressed, Jerry haven't gathered with his friends for a long time. The night before, he met up with his friend to Jin Hua hotel to eat and later went to San Zhong to visit his friend. However, he didn't expect a whole load of media to follow him when he came out of the hotel.

Fenny said, seeing so many media, of course he had a shock. As it was a private gathering, he didn't had any preparation at all to see so many media and didn't know what to do but felt that, "It's hard on everyone!" As to the funny scene of Jerry bending at the hospital, Fenny said, "It's jerry's way of shooting back, no other meanings to that." Midway when he changed cars, was to stop the media from following. However, according to what is known, Jerry bended because he wanted to see his way clearly.

Earlier night, Yan Cheng Xu (jerry) suddenly went out from the Grand Formosa Regent Hotel, and fans who found him had a good view on him. He went out in a high mood as he showed his bright smiles to fans who asked for autograph, and also made handshakes to thank them. Soon after, he drove quickly to the car towards Tri-Service General Hospital (TSGH), and under a security escort, he vanished inside the Bai Se Ju Ta. hi LuvJerry sis! korek ka if i'm not mistaken 5x na nag-visit si jerry dito sa pinas, first time sa BENCH, sa La Pavillion that was the time din yata na nagpunta siya sa malacanang, then yung happy 50 TV the concert, tapos yung F4 concert sa ultra, Bench & Jerry sa nbc tent, and lastly yung Bench event sa cebu, yan yung naaalala ko....sana tama hehe hayy medyo matagal na siya di balik dito sa pinas, 1 year & 2 mos. Buti na lang at na-career pa namin mag HK to watch their concert & able to see JERRY real close kung hindi malamang nito di na kami makausap hahaha:p ...We're all praying for that sis na bumalik na siya uli very soon.....;)


ofcourse babalik ang babe natin dyan, i was in the phil the first time jerry visited the country...just watched him on TV though...i remember that time he looked so shy....and so shuai hehehe...then always on the net ko nalang sya nakikita after that...

Hello sa iyo, Did you watch the episode 24? Grabe yung mga scene ni Jerry at janine. Gustong gusto ko siya doon parang batang nagulat, ang pula ng lips at bagay sa kanya ang magulong hair.

Today, there are not much people lining up
when I arrived at about 11am
Then, the more the start of the event nears
the more people are now coming
and the related items on sale are just very few
and really selling well.

People passing by all asked if Jerry is coming
we also wish that Dr. Su will come
but he won’t be attending
Still, there a few cast who will come
And today Taichung is very lucky
that the drama group will present Dr. Su and
Guan Xin’s coffee cup as prize in the event
and friends got excited to get it.

They changed the set of questions
Yang Jin Hua asked what TV network did she represented in the drama
and contestant replied BTV.

The host tried to look for a male who will win Guan Xin’s cup,
Guan Xin asked what place did she and Su Yi Hua
went together to study medicine
the answer should be Pu Li
but when the male contestant didn’t seem to know the answer,
everyone already answered for him
and he answered it back to the host when he heard it.

He said the Yan Lin Hua just told him she wanted something to eat
That is why he called her and told her to eat these sun cookies
and that caused me to feel suddenly shy.

Because that is a famous Taichung delicacy,

CTV’s The Hospital enters to a high gear on its plot as it now screens its power struggle and conflicts in the hospital. To express his thanks for fans’ support, Director Cai Yue Xun brought the cast Leon Dai, Janine Zhang, Yang Jin Hua, Tang Zhi Ping, Xui Jie Kai and Huang Teng Hao in the south for a fans gathering promo tour.

The most regarded was Leon Dai when he asked a fan to check if they know The Hospital well, “do you think Qui Qing Cheng is a good or a bad guy?” A male student from Taichung University named Zhang You Yu quickly and smartly answered, “You are not a man at all” As Leon Dai who played Qui Qing Cheng heard it, he was overjoyed and started laugh out loud.

Similarly, there were numerous fans of Janine who were asked,” Where did Su Yi Hua and Guan Xin started to study together?” At the stage was a nervously shy male fan who didn’t seem to know the answer but a number of fans below the stage started to shout at him the right answer “Pu Li” and was later allowed to be with “Guan Xin” for a souvenir photo.

At the event, Jerry and Janine’s coffee cup used in the drama was also given away as prize, as well as Tang Zhi Ping and Xui Jie Kai’s hospital IDs and doctor jackets and Yang Jin Hua’s BTV reporter’s ID for the benefit of “The Hospital’s” faithful fans.

Regarded as one of the biggest 8 pm drama, The Hospital drama has a fictional TV news network BTV but it has taken TVBS’s location spots. The other day, CTV’s high ups shielding a huge product logo to avoid an advertisement became suspicious. But executive producers Yang Ming Productions and CTV equally stated that they don’t know it. At the time of the filming, Yan Jing Hua once trained for a month at the CTV news department. But at the 23rd episode shown last week, the TVBS entrance was shown. That is why it was rumored that CTV higher ups were dissatisfied. Producer Yu Xiao Hue said,” This is Director Cai’s usual practice la! If he would be shooting a TV network, he would usually borrow the TVBS entrance because he believed that it was a pretty nice location spot. “ Yu Xiao Hui explained that the setting required a night view. But CTV’s entrance gate at night only had one light, as opposed to resulting effects of TVBS’s bright lights at night at its façade. The drama group only went to the TBVS management to borrow the entrance view for this serial, “We wanted to come out with a different world in the drama, and we had not actually tied up with them. The inside of the BTV office is actually shot in one of CTV’s offices. CTV then thought that the drama group can just avoid the use of its home station but should not make too much video footage of TVBS.

In addition, in the scene when Leon Dai and Yang Jin Hua had a big product ad as a background, the scene was apparently shortened. It is reported in the contract, it was stipulated that the drama group must not focus non-sponsors in their drama scenes. But CTV expressed, “It’s not very clear. We just thought that advertisements had to be light.” Meanwhile, Yang Ming said,” It’s not very clear. We would have to ask CTV on that.” Both sides don’t want to admit that it is to avoid being penalized from exposing the big logos, and it seems avoiding again to be penalized for too much sex exposure ads. Producers and TV networks are especially careful when handling trademarks.

Summary of Episode 22

Last part of Episode 21 shows a lot of media at the hospital. This is bcos a police officer was shot dead & he's a organ donor, so operations for the transplants of his organs will be carried out. Dr Qiu saw this as a chance to wrest power from Dr Tang & his team. Also, his lover, Ms Ma the reporter, told him that she will direct questions to him during the presscon so that Dr Qiu will be the focus. All the different surgical teams are ready for the harvesting of the organs & doing simultaneous transplant, its a very huge & difficult operations. Dr Qiu manage to intimidate 1 of the doc to give way to him in the OR & took over the operations. Dr Tang is furious. Dr Lai pushed him out to the presscon room as Dr Tang wants to be the one replying to the media, to show that he's the Head of Surgical Dept. & deny the Dr Qiu the chance to be known to the media. But Dr Qiu has already gone to ED Hsu's office abt Dr Tang wanting to be at the presscon. ED Hsu is angry & decides to change the venue of the presscon & that he will be the one presiding it. Dr Tang & Dr Lai is on the way to the new presscon venue & ran into Dr Qiu. Dr Tang was very angry at Dr Qiui for being an ingrate. There was a struggle & Dr Tang fell from the wheelchair, even though Dr Qiu wanted to help, he was pushed away. Dr Su arrived at the scene & help to carry Dr Tang up.

The presscon brought great prestige to Dr Qiu as head of the surgical teams that carried out such a complex operations. Dr Su watched the presscon & walked away disgusted. Mrs Tang reproached Dr Lai & the female doc not to use Dr Tang anymore, to acccept the fact that Dr Tang can no longer protect them. Mrs Tang wants Dr Tang to go back to the US with her but Dr Tang refuses. Mrs Tang went to plead with ED Hsu to at least allow Dr Tang to stay on as a lecturer.

Dr Qiu was suprised to see lots of fruit baskets in his office. His secretary explained that its the norm for patients to send gifts to Head of SD. When Dr Qiu opened the fruit baskets, besides fruits, he finds envelopes with cash in it. Dr Su visits Dr Tang, at 1st Dr Tang was hostile to him. Dr Su told Dr Tang he cant bear to see how Dr Qiu is treating Dr Tang, how it hurts him to see Dr Tang & Dr Qiu are fighting, all the hate & enmity between them, who once used to be mentor & favourite student. Dr Tang is touched & patted Dr Su's head to comfort him.

ED Hsu told Dr Qiu that now that Dr Tang is out of the pix, its time Dr Qiu do something abt the reshuffling of personnels in SD. Dr Qiu recommended that Dr Kwan replaces Dr Lai as Head of Anaesthetic (note: Dr Lai is Dr Kwan's superior, he's the one that in earlier episodes pressurize Dr Kwan to accept the rap for the botched operation. Dr Lai is also a staunch supporter of Dr Tang & had earlier called Dr Qiu a "dog").
ED Hsu asked Dr Qiu to go ahead with his reshuffling of personnels of SD.

Asst. Ming, Dr Qiu's asst., present Dr Qiu with incriminating evidence of Dr Lai making money out of hospital supplies, a copy of this evidence has been put on Dr Lai's table. Dr Lai is frantic. Dr Qiu showed the evidence to Dr Kwan to expose Dr Lai's misdeeds & told Dr Kwan that Dr Lai's time is up. That he wants Dr Kwan to take over as Head of Anaesthetic. Dr Qiu said that SD & AD are closely related when it comes to work, he wants to have a good working partner. Dr Kwan is not keen as she's not interested in power & position. Dr Qiu asked her to reconsider, not for the sake of the position but for the fact that Dr Kwan can reorganise the dept so that her ideals can be carried out.

Dr Lai paid a visit to Dr Qiu's house bearing gifts of money. Dr Qiu rejects it & sneered at Dr Lai. Dr Lai went down on his knees to beg for mercy, that Dr Qiu dont exposed his wrongdoings, as he still has a family to support in Myanmar. Dr Qiu said he's not a evil person, he accepted the gift.

Ms Ma called up Dr Qiu & insisted on meeting Dr Qiu. Dr Qiu met her but is annoyed as he has a lot of work to do. Ms Ma then told him she's pregnant with his child.

Summary of Episode 23

Ms Ma, on seeing Dr Qiu's reaction, told him that she will take care of things. Dr Qiu told her i f she needs anything, just call him. Ms Ma's colleague asked her what she intends to to. Ms Ma said she's disappointed with Dr Qiu's reaction, she didnt expect that he wld be unhappy abt it. As Dr Qiu dont want the child, Ms Ma has decided to go for an abortion. Ms Ma was told by her gynae that she's 8 weeks pregnant. Ms Ma said she wants an abortion, the doc said to her to reconsider as he found out that she has low fertility level, its not easy for her to get pregnant. Ms Mai is shocked & called Dr Qiu, saying she wants to discuss something with him. Dr Qiu said he will turn up after he finished his work, no matter how late. Ms Ma waited & waited but he didnt show up & also switched off his cellphone.

Ms Ma showed up at the park where Mrs Qiu was accompanying her daughter. From Mrs Qiu, Ms Ma found out that Dr Qiu loves kid, that he loves their daugher very much & theirs is a happy family. Ms Ma wants to do an interview of Mrs Qiu from the perspective of a doc's wife.

The lady doctor, who with Dr Lai, is a staunch supporter of Dr Tang, told Dr Tang that's she been transferred out of the OR. Dr Tang is angry with Dr Qiu for getting rid of his supporters. ED Hsu praised DR Qiu for his quick & ruthless handling of SD personnel reshuffling. But he was not happy when Dr Qiu said he wont be attending the coming Head of Dept. meeting for this time. Dr Qiu said its bcos Mrs Tang asked this favour of him, so as not to further hurt Dr Tang. ED Hsu advised Dr Qiu to consider properly, whether he wants to give priority to his career or priority to emotion. When Dr Qiu asked for his official letter of confirmation as Head of SD, ED Hsu said the letter is not ready as the secretary is away on leave.

Dr Su invites Dr Kwan out for a date. Dr Kwan agrees.

Dr Qiu is worried when told by his wife abt Ms Ma wanting to do an interview of her at their house. He went to meet Ms Ma. He told Ms Ma that he's not avoiding her, just that now he's very busy fighting his battles in the hospital to secure his position. Ms Ma asked Dr Qiu to accompany her for her abortion, Dr Qiu agreed readily. And promptly asked Ms Ma to cancel the interview of his wife, he wants his family to stay private, etc, etc. Ms Ma realises that Dr Qiu is not concerned abt her, he just wants to settle the problem of her child & dont want her to come near to his family.

Dr Tang is practising hard on signing his name, Mrs Tang is very angry that he's not resting but is pushing himself too hard. Dr Tang said that as long as he can sign his name, he can still function as Head of SD. Mrs Tang told him to give up & return to the US with her, Dr Tang got angry with his wife & said she dont understand how hard he has to work to achieve his current position & he's not going to give up. Mrs Tang cried & said that Dr Tang has never considered her feelings & what she has gone thru all these years. All these years, Dr Tang spends most of his time in the hospital in order to achieve his ambition & hardly spends time with his family. Mrs Tang was the one who took care of the family & their 2 sons, at the same time has to run errands for Dr Tang re hospital's things. Since Dr Tang finds the kids too distracting, Mrs Tang took them to the US when they were young kids, since then the family has hardly been together. She has a tough & lonely time all alone in the US bringing up the kids & hardly gets to see her husband. When the kids had high fever & nearly died, she was with them in the US hospital. Now the kids are already adults, all she wants now is to spend her old age together with her husband, for once having her husband & children all under one roof, to be together as a family. She told Dr Tang that no one knows how much time they have left to be together , they are both already old, its their last chance to be a family. She pleaded with Dr Tang to give in to her for once, all along in the past is that she gives in to his wishes. Dr Tang agreed to go back with her to the US.

Summary of Episode 24

The meeting of the Head of Department is on. Mrs Tang has already packed all Dr Tang's luggage for the trip back to the US. She went out for a while for some errands. Once Mrs Tang left the room, Dr Tang got up & manage to dress himself in his doc's robes even though it was with great difficulty. He then wheeled himself to the meeting room. The meeting is in progress & Dr Qiu is standing next to ED Hsu. Dr Kwan is also present, she is now Head of Anaesthetic, taking over from Dr Lai. Dr Tang arrived, everyone is in shock. Dr Tang said he's the head of SD & his place is where Dr Qiu is standing. He got up from his wheelchair & with great determination starting walking by using the conference table to support him. All those present got up so that he can pass. Dr Qiu looked at his teacher's painful progress, took out his own name tag & put in his pocket & pushed a chair for Dr Tang so that he can sit & use the chair's which has roller to reach his destination. Unfortunately, Dr Tang collapsed at that moment. Mrs Tang, whose in a taxi & have been calling Dr Tang's cellphone which he has left in his room, felt something is wrong & tried to rush back to the hospital.

The SD department is having a meeting, Dr Qiu is not in a good mood. Dr Su came in late with a sombre face. Everyone in the room is quiet.

Dr Qiu bumped into Ms Ma at the door of his house, Ms Ma has just finished interviewing his wife. Dr Qiu is uspet, he thought the interview has been cancelled as what he has told Ms Ma previously.

Dr Su & Dr Kwan are at her house, he had bought food, wine , etc for dinner at her house. Dr Su's celebrated Dr Kwan's promotion. Dr Kwan thanked Dr Su for the food, the wine, the music. Dr Su asked Dr Kwan to dance, Dr Kwan said she dont know how, in the end they ended in each others arms in a slow dance. Dr Kwan wish that they can always be happy as they are now. Dr Su said if Dr Kwan wld let him be close to her, he will try to make her forget abt the unhappiness in her past. Dr Kwan said the past is the past, it cant be changed. Just as Dr Su & Dr Kwan is getting intimate, Dr Kwan recollected her past with Dr Zhong, their affair, his marrying another lady whose father is of high position in a hospital, her abortion, the necklace he gave to her which she's still wearing. Dr Kwan started to cry & cry, shocking Dr Su who tried to comfort her.

Ms Ma is viewing the tape of her interview of Mrs Qiu, she is much saddened when Mrs Qiu said how Dr Qiu will try to squeeze time out to spend with her when she was pregnant, how he comfort her during her pregnancy, how much he loves their daughter, etc, etc,

Dr Qiu is accompanying his wife & daughter for their daughter's appt at the optician. Mrs Qiu said that now that their daughter is already 10 years old, she wants to work again & have another child. Dr Qiu said to discuss it another time as he's now just too busy.

A lady suicide patient is bought in, according to her records, this is not her 1st time.

ED Hsu telephone Dr Su to invite him for dinner at his house & for a chat & told Dr Su not to inform Dr Qiu.
Dr Su & Dr Qiu are discussing abt dept. affairs, after that Dr Qiu invited Dr Su for a business dinner, Dr Su said he already has a prior appt. & revealed that he has been invited by ED Hsu to his house for dinner. When Dr Qiu asked further, Dr Su said he has no idea what's the dinner is abt.

A nurse is calling the the name of the suicide patient to wake her up. Dr Kwan heard the name & is greatly upset. She rushed to check out the registration record of the patient, losing control of her emotions. She read the name & remember the face of Dr Zhong's wife, at the same time Dr Zhong arrived to see his wife. Dr Kwan is devastated & she started to cry. Dr Zhong saw her & called out her name.

Dr Su arrives at ED Hsu's residence.

Dr Kwong is sitting waiting for his wife. Dr Kwan sacarstically asked whether he is now ED of his father-in-law's hospital. Dr Zhong said he's not ED yet & that his father-in-law has just passed away. Dr Zhong remarked that Dr Kwan dont looked happy, Dr Kwan said she's too busy with work. When Dr Zhong asked her whether she's married, Dr Kwan said no. Dr Zhong said he guess so as Dr Kwan is not one that give herself away easily. Dr Kwan replied that she's glad Dr Zhong knows she's not the frivolous type.

Dr Hsu' daughter opened the door for Dr Su & showed him in. Mrs Hsu came out to greet Dr Su, Dr Hsu is in the kitchen preparing dinner, Dr Su is very surprised abt that. Mrs Hsu said that her husband only cooks once a year, during chinese new year, so its very rare this time that he's cooking for tonite's dinner.

It's good that he didnt, too much focus will be on him. it will arouse resentment, however much the other parties dont want to but its a very natural human feelings. Jerry understands this very well. one can see fom the example of TH charity screening, the focus was on Jerry. the media did try to "provoke" Fei Xiang with this when he was back in TW during 9/06, hinting thats why he didnt joined TH charity screening in 8/06, fearing that Jerry will overshadow him.

i recalled 1 incident posted by a Jerry's fan, it was long ago, during a F4's event in 2001/2. this fan was seated very near to the stage, can see very clearly. when it was Jerry or ZZ up the stage, there was so much screaming & applause. this incident occurs after Jerry has finished, it was the turn of another member of the group to come out, the reactions were much quieter. according to this fan, can see the expression changed on his face. its just a very natural human feeling, its in all of us.

At the start of the program, The Hospital preview scenes were shown, and even if it was only in black and white and with no sound. audience intensity were completely overwhelming. The cast didnt only gave in pictorials with everyone but also gave away Su Yi Hua, Guan Xin and Qui Qing Cheng's coffee cups used in the drama as prizes to fans, by answering questions on how well the audience knew facts about the drama.

It was surprising to see that fans knew every detail and every dialogue in the drama, especially when it was Dai Li Ren's turn to ask, Is Qui Qing Cheng a good or a bad man? The lucky contestant chosen promptly answered, "He is not a man!" Besides creating a roaring laughter in the whole venue, it even allowed Leon Dai to praise and commend on this man's reply.
