i think so naman...parang supervisor yata siya sa Bench or whatever...ask kasi ako kung wala pang bagong collections si jerry eh so yung salesman tinanong yung visor dun so yun nga ang sabi niya dapat nga march or april DAO kaso may concert nga ang f4 kaya postponed so let's just hope it's really true!


there were rumors before that jerry will be replaced by Rain. ilang beses ako tumawag sa bench to confirm sana pero i didn't get any answer.

magkatotoo sana yan, jie.. my friend & i talked about it already na next time pag my event si papa jerry uli with bench, matutulog talaga kami near the venue... or kung pwede kahit sa loob mismo! para maka-una naman kami dba. juice koh, 4 sure feeling nasa heaven ako non!


natawa naman ako dito, talagang matutulog ka na sa venue ha? Pero tama ka sis, ganun talaga may kasamang sacrifice..Kami nga sa hk march 21 kami dumating diretso na sa venue, at that time rehearsal pa lang ng f4, around 1pm andun kami, do you know up to when? well ,up to the next day mga 3am na kasi nun lang natapos si JERRY siya yung last na lumabas but then sulit naman ang lahat!;)

Real life drama “The Hospital” with Jerry Yan (right)
Saya and Liang Xiu portraying roles caught up in a struggle for
doctors’ self-interests, presidential daughter and president.


Because “First Family” Fu Ma Ye (head presidential son) Zhao Jian Ming was exposed in the “tai kan an” scandal recently, it happened that Golden Bell awardee for Best Director Cai Yue Xun produced and directed a TV series “The Hospital” which is somewhat in the same view, because institutional resident doctors cohorts with pharmaceutical companies, and in the process struggle to fight for their own interests. Finally, can the First Family still foresee “The Hospital” coincidences as merely accidental?

Taiwan TV stations have been urging Cai Yue Xun to release the series as early as possible, since this is Jerry’s trump card and also building on the Fu Ma Ye’s issue. The first daughter will follow the issue on the fried hot TV series. However, Director Cai still insisted and stressed the “The Hospital” theme story isn’t insinuating anyone and according to the original author where this story was adapted, Hou Wen Yong, it’s human greed, corruption and anger were the only focal points, and the hospital setting was only used as rhe human package.

Hou Wen Yong actually wrote “Bai Se Ju Ta’ many years ago. Among the characters in the drama is presidential daughter SAYA, who was hospitalized for cancer, that agitated factions inside the institution to fight over on its regulations, and fighting to snatch the patient. There is a scene where the president went to the hospital to visit the woman, causing a commotion scene with his presidential security and the president angrily rebuked the hospital chief to cure his daughter, or else he will be responsible for the consequences. All its plots let the viewers think of it’s similarities to what is actually happening.

The most miraculous scenes written were for Jerry Yan and Leon Dai, two doctors belonging to two different factions fighting each other. Not only did the professors and students who joined forces, as even more complex struggles went behind. Jerry finally gave up her beloved girlfriend, and chose to marry the hospital president’s daughter while Fei Xiang’s role gave up all his ideals for fame and fortune. As a righteous doctor, he was finally alone in the world, as each own plots revealed were all the same.

The Hospital” was originally planned for simultaneous release all over Asia on July, but there are also people who says its September. Recently, discussions began to center on the true book version of “Bae Se Ju Ta” and the TV version “The Hospital” similarities and differences. Jerry fans even more supports Jerry’s brilliant trailer scenes. Because Zhao Jian Ming issue is already in the drama, most likely it will become the TV series with the most attention this summer.

The three top male stars were Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou and Vanness Wu. The top 3 female stars chosen were Da S, Chris Lee and Lin Zhi Ling. Apart from being rumored in “Yan Lin lian” and the “Da Zai Lian, the two top listers are also closely watched by the mainland Chinese viewers , where many are still supporting Taiwanese idols.

The “Ten Biggest Male Stars are: Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Vanness Wu, Ken Zhu, Huang Xiao Ming, Pgest Male Stars” respectively are: eter Ho, Jay Chou, Nicholas Tse, Richie Jen and Bowie Lam. The “Ten Biggest Female Stars” are Da S, Chris Lee, Lin Zhi Ling, Ella Chen, Zhang Han Yin Yun, Ruby Lin, Liu Yi Fei, Gigi Lai , Charlene Choi and Gillian Chung. In on-line voting was only limited to mainland Chinese residents. After filming “The Hospital”, Jerry’s world vanished into thin air, and many fans had begun asking, how is he now? Answer: studying English! Jerry may look cool on stage but he is actually quite warm privately. When he was having dinner at Dong Qu's Le You Kao Rou, as he was very interested in language, he constantly chatted with his friends using english and japanese. When he was being corrected on his english, he even brought out his Meteor Garden's DaoMingSi's famous line, "My english is bad ? I think i have sense!" However, to make people happy, he said size.

Jerry is busy with learning english and japanese, preparing for his personal website and doing some last preparation for The Hospital.

According to what is known, the original novel had 2 bed scenes but his flesh was compared to gold, the scenes were easily brought over during acting. A scene of visiting the prostitute, another person subsituted him. Another intimate scene with female lead, the biggest action was only kissing and unbuckling the shirt. Fans who wants to see his body might only go dissappointed.

When Jerry is acting, does he write the principal of not stripping ? Person in charge of this drama said, it is not Jerry's problem. "I forgot he didn't say anything about not revealing. After filming “The Hospital”, Jerry’s world vanished into thin air, and many fans had begun asking, how is he now? Answer: studying English! The other day, he was spotted with the MV director Guang Cheng waiting for a friend in Dong Qu for a dinner, and talking to each other in English. He surprisingly said,” I also have much size (what he meant is: sense!)” causing a customer suddenly distracted. After his assistant tried to explain it, he then actually said “sense”, purposely joking just to make everyone laugh and feel happy!

When Jerry is in the limelight, he looks very straight , but actually in private, he is rather lovable. When he was eating in Dong Qu’s “Le Ye Grill”, because he was very interested in their chats in literature and language, he was continuously using English and Japanese with his friends. When his friend was joking on him having bad English, he also then moved to act as “Meteor Garden” Dao Ming Si’s famous oral call “What bad English? I think I also have size”, simply teasing happily for everyone, and purposely saying size”(measurement.) Jerry when not busy studies English and Japanese, preparing for the opening of his official website, and also coordinating with
the post-production of his new TV drama “The Hospital.”

Jerry Yan Has Meat with English, Plays around & claims to have "size"

Ever since The Hospital completed filming, Jerry vanished into thin air. When a group of fans asked him where excatly is he ? The answer is, "learning english!" Earlier on, he was seen having dinner at Dong Qu with MV Director and friends. In between, he started speaking a little english and a sentance came out of nowhere, "I'm a person with size (explain - sense) !", suprising people for awhile. He actually wanted to say sense but changed the word to make people laugh.

Jerry may look cool on stage but he is actually quite warm privately. When he was having dinner at Dong Qu's Le You Kao Rou, as he was very interested in language, he constantly chatted with his friends using english and japanese. When he was being corrected on his english, he even brought out his Meteor Garden's DaoMingSi's famous line, "My english is bad ? I think i have sense!" However, to make people happy, he said size.

Jerry is busy with learning english and japanese, preparing for his personal website and doing some last preparation for The Hospital.

According to what is known, the original novel had 2 bed scenes but his flesh was compared to gold, the scenes were easily brought over during acting. A scene of visiting the prostitute, another person subsituted him. Another intimate scene with female lead, the biggest action was only kissing and unbuckling the shirt. Fans who wants to see his body might only go dissappointed.

When Jerry is acting, does he write the principal of not stripping ? Person in charge of this drama said, it is not Jerry's problem. "I forgot he didn't say anything about not revealing. It's the Director who didn't allow him to do so!" She said, bed scenes were all discussed by Director Cai, Jerry and Hou Wen Yong before filming. As the scene of visiting the prostitue was too real and hot, they were afraid that the audiences might not be able to accept it and it went thru along with the script.

As to the female lead, although it might be only kissing and unbuckling the shirt but the scene already looked very hot. At the filming scene, she was red from the face to the ear. She need not strip. Currently, there are some arguments within CTS and the Director of the broadcast date and time. Even though the first episode have been edited and done, they still cannot confirm the broadcast date.

Zaizai reveals working crew's MSN burst

When Zaizai started to talk to his girlfriend on, Megan Lai on MSN in Silence, the address was being written down by audiences, hoping to talk to Zaizai. However, how can that be Zaizai's ID ? It actually belong to a working crews'. In the end, she had 80 people who added her at once. Jerry had the same situation when he was filming Meteor Garden.

When Meteor Garden started broadcast overseas, the working crew even recieved a sms from Malaysia saying, "Missing you everyday, Bao Long!"

"Chinese Stars Exhibit Fair", and attracting waves of people.


F4 is really exploding with fame in Japan! Not only in the Parco Mall, Shibuya, Tokyo does the 4's huge mural photos are painted in its outside walls, but since May 19, Parco has also been conducting the 18-day " Chinese Stars Exhibit Fair" inside, attracting people who come for its huge collection of F4 product ads. F4's walk to fame has caused Taiwanese idol dramas to be given extensive attention.


F4 leads the pack and opens Japan's century of ideas


Inside the venue's entrance following the actual booths are Sakura ladies fully concentrated in watching F4's own lead role idol drama scenes. In addition, Zaizai and Da S love affair had also crossed the foreign seas and reached Japan, and both of their photos seems to be like " linked babies" appearing side by side together. Zaizai's idol drama "God Mars" photos included the one he was wearing a safety helmet and Da S's cosmetics book cover "Beauty Queen Look" which are also displayed together inside the same shelf.

Moreover, "Chinese Stars Exhibit Fair" used their product advertisment posters to make a single message board, providing their fans with something to write on for their idols. The area of "Jerry" messages are among those with the most lively words, and fans packed and filled up many love messages for Bao Long. A person exaggerated and wrote, " Jerry, you must come quickly to Japan, I think you know that I'll have stomach ache and wants to die. " Also, there are fans who used Chinese in writing, "I really love F4 very much", so seriously touchiing.

The ongoing "Chinese Stars Exhibit Fair" is for the stars' own idol drama. However, on Peter Ho 's "East" chinese character name, there were surprisingly Jay Chou fan messages found, and hoping Jay would come to Japan for a concert. Beside's F4's murals outside the mall, inside the venue are photo displays of Rainie Yang, Mike Ho, Joe Cheng, Eddie Peng, Alan Kuo and King One.

Inside the venue are not only F4's projects are on exhibit. Numerous items of F4 curios are also on sale. Apart from F4 notebooks, keychains, DVDs, postcards and stickers, there are also bags written with "F4 You'll be Dead" . There are also Zai Zai-endorsed products and Jerry's milk candies from Mainland China. There is also an F4 portrait in the cover of the Chinese Males Stars Directory. As Jerry endorsed and appeared in a jewelry ad poster, many fans went to its booth to buy their gift items. It seems that as long as the product is stamped with "F4" , no matter what item it is, somebody will fish out money to buy them.

A "Chinese Stars Exhibit Fair" also put up a booth for a sticker machine. As long as they have 400 Japanese Yen to spare, fans immediately made their choices on the idol list whom they like to be photographed with in a "group picture sticker. " Even if the idol is far in Taiwan, they are already contented with to these small photo frames, which can somewhat satisfy the fans' imaginations just the same.

The interesting "Meteor Garden 1 & 2", "Love Scar" and "God Mars" are some of the much awaited Taiwanese idol dramas, which are all adapted from Japanese anime. Nowadays, Taiwan depends on these few idol dramas to "counter" the Japanese market and also depend on every kind of curio products which are madly scraping out money from the Japanese Sakura ladies' wallets. As feng shui would say, "make money" in return!

Jerry : I’ve been through it. When I think about it now I get very mad, initially we were renting a room when we came to Taipei. Then do you know . . . you know. . . The place I rented was how small? It was not even ‘one ping’ (3.3 meter square) in area, it was an extremely small room. We had to co-rent it with others. I will always remember once when I came back from work and I was exhausted. So I got off work early and whilst asleep I heard there a person . . . When I’m sleeping someone . . . I heard someone on the other side of the door complaining that we were poor. Saying that we rented such a small place for so little money. I had left some food in the fridge for them to eat and then they commented . . . that I didn’t pay for it and yet took space in their fridge.

Jerry : Do you know? I was furious at that moment and you would feel that way. I feel you cannot view many things in terms of money or judge a person by his outward appearance. Although we had no money but others needn’t look down upon us.

Fang : I feel that you need something in your house, you need to put that . . . what’s that called? For boxing practice . . . ‘punching bag’.

Jerry : Really thinking about it.

Fang : It’s because you need to release.

Jerry : Yes!

Fang : I feel that . . .

Jerry : That’s why I said that I like exercise. In fact exercise is a form of release.

Fang : are there some that you are not telling us?

Jerry : No . . .

Jerry : Like I said my present girlfriend will be my wife, I won’t treat her as my girlfriend. Basically whatever she wants me to help her with, I should be able to do it for her!

Fang : I am rather curious if any guy ever showed an interest in you?

Jerry : (Laughs)

Fang : It’s just showing an interest, no big deal right? So has any guy showed an interest in you?

Jerry : Not that they show an interest but that they are . . . how should I put it. I don’t know, I just feel that no matter whether they are or not. I feel that they are very talented people.

Jerry : For example . . . reporters might recognize me. When I just started out, I had hardly met any reporters yet I have heard so many . . . If they had any opinions or whatever, You will feel that . . .

Fang : Don’t you get scared of meeting strangers everyday.

Jerry : Not that, you will feel that it is ludicrous, I don’t even know what I did wrongly or whatever and these reporters have started to spread that the person is scary!

Fang : Every time I see you with a big haversack, can I see what is inside? . . . Why are there so many things . . .

Jerry : I can’t say no right!

Fang : Don’t!

Jerry : Then you will say . . . Then I . . .

Fang : Can I or can’t I ?

Jerry : It’s up to you!

Fang : There seems to be a girl’s picture! Can I see? Can I or can’t I!

Jerry : (Laughs) As you wish!

Ah Juan : He is known to be very filial then if he . . . As he has to act and record so his time for rest is very little. When he has a break he will definitely go home to accompany his mum. One would feel this mother and son relationship is rather good. He will tell a lot of things to his mum. His main purpose for being so hard on his acting is to make his mum happy when she sees it. And he will feel so comforted by his achieving this.

Ai Le Fen : Like that last time F4 was working in Singapore and Malaysia. We were flying from Singapore to Malaysia and back to Taiwan. Usually after we finished all our work, we would often browse around the Duty Free Shops. Then Bao Long . . . I shouldn’t say Bao Long, it’s Jerry. He told me that he wanted to buy something for his mum. I replied, ‘Are you sure?’ And I was thinking in my heart he is such a filial son. How could he be so obedient in wanting to buy something for his mum? So I asked him what he wanted to get for his mum . . . just a bag he replied. And by the side there happen to be a few bags. Then he asked me for my opinion of a bag. ‘How does your mum look like? I’ll choose a suitable one for you.’ He said that his mum is like a country folk. So I chided him for saying that about his mum. The he replied what he said is the truth. Then I relented and asked him what his mum would use the bag for? . . . Does he hope that his mum might use it for? . . . Maybe going for a dinner or something so that she looks grand for the occasion. His reply was negative, he just wanted her to carry the bag to go to the market. So I told him not to waste money.

Fang : I heard that when you go home, you will just stay at home.

Jerry : Yes! Because . . . Yes! Especially being in this line, it’s actually not convenient to be in the public so I tend to just lounge at home and also . . .

Fang : you are the only one getting bored.

Jerry : I don’t even dare to open the windows cause I am so scared that I will be photographed or something might happen, yes right!

Fang : You didn’t do anything so why should you be scared.

Subtitles on Screen : Intrusion of Strangers

Jerry : Not that I didn’t do anything but I just feel uneasy! Furthermore the old place that I used to stay is . . . that you can climb into the house. If I forgot my keys, I would climb into my house. So I was very frightened and feel that it is very dangerous. Would there be one day where one might suddenly find a lady lying on your bed ( Fang laughs ) and say, ‘Hello!’ to you. Yes!

Fang : Let me tell you, it is a possibility in his case . . .

Jerry : Really I rather look forward to it. No! No such thing!

Fang : Let’s talk about this situation . . .

Jerry : Situation?

Fang : When you open the door and a lady is lying in your home . . .

Jerry : You are just supposing right?

Fang : Yes, just imagine now . . .

Jerry : Imagine . . .

Fang : A person lying in your bed, then . . .

Jerry : Yes.

fang : Wearing very little.

Jerry : Yes.

Fang : How about maybe she has changed into your T-shirt, it that enough! Lying on your bed then what will you do? Why are you tugging at your socks? Do you want to run away?

Jerry : Most probably . . . I think . . . I will . . . I will tell her, ‘Sorry I am rather tired.’

Exciting Preview
Jerry : Whilst asleep I heard someone . . . I heard someone on the other side of the door complaining that we were poor. Saying that we rented such a small place for so little money. I had left some food in the fridge for them to eat and then they commented . . . that I didn’t pay for it and yet took space in their fridge.

Jerry : Most probably . . . I think . . . I will . . . I will tell her, ‘Sorry I am rather tired.’

Fang : When you say that you are a little tired, I can’t provide for your wants!

Jerry : I most probably won’t have thought so much . . .

Fang : (Hitting Jerry’s thigh and laughing)

Jerry : Everyday I am really . . . After filming when I go home . . . I am already so tired. Sometimes when I go home, I don’t even remove the make-up or wash my hair, just fall back and sleep. Just like that.

Fang : All those hard times are all over!

Jerry : Not that! It’s just that . . .Yes! Don’t really want to think back too much Jerry : Not that! It’s just that . . .

Fang : But do you know? It’s because of all these things happening to you that’s why you are so eager to win at everything.

Subtitles on Screen : Must be Stronger than You

Jerry : When I was young, many a time I love to ‘snatch’ things from people, what I mean is . . .like in sports to compete or for something . . . I would want to get the very best results. You could say that it could be because of family influence, one would want to fight for it. And I feel now at work too, this has influenced my work attitude. Similarly, in the many things that I do I want to let others see that for a certainty I am putting in my very best.

Fang : You feel that all this while since your childhood you have actually been ostracized and bullied.

Narration :
Jerry Yan cherishes his mum, he wants very much to lay a firm foundation in the Entertainment Industry. So that she can lead a comfortable life. He might already be famous all over but his room still has a hole left by the earthquake of 91-92. (Subtitles: A Fridge that can Electrocute.) The fridge has been in his family for 20 over years and one day it finally short-circuited.

Jerry : Frankly speaking, I was certainly very insecure before. We may have become famous and everyone thinks that we have earned a lot of money but . . .

Fang : Very limited right?

Jerry : Yes! So . . . I have no sense of security at all.

Subtitles on Screen : To Build a Safe Haven

Jerry : I do not have sense of security myself. I am so horrified that I might not be able to let my mum know what we have accomplished something this far. And have a little saved so she needn’t suffer anymore.

Fang : Who is staying with her?

Jerry : Now it’s my sister. As I was saying just now, my sister is also very. . .This is my family situation. My sister works in the day a secretary and at night she works at a shop as a waitress. So she is still having it hard you know? We are all so, just hoping that. . .we can quickly save some money and lessen the burden of my family.

Fang : Wanting to get a house as soon as possible.

Jerry : Of course I hope so . . . In 91-92 there was . . . an earthquake and the cement from the walls of my room fell off.

Fan : Oh! . . .

Jerry : It’s true, it wasn’t patched up before and when I went back . . . So sometime ago when I was slightly better off, I asked my mum to get it repaired. As it is just above my bed, when I go back to my room, I am afraid that it might fall on me.

Fang : ( Expressing great disbelief )

Jerry : There might be a day when I wake up and my whole face will be as swollen as a pig’s.

Fang : Look, this picture looks like the everyday Jerry Yan.

Jerry : Actually it is still ok! I feel that my mum did give us so it is very . . . Do you know our fridge spoilt in a few days ago? It has been with us from young till now that we’ve grown. If you knew it’s quite funny. I heard my mum said that one morning my sis woke up to wash her face. Then as she was washing, the electricity leaked and she was electrocuted.

Fang : ( Laughing with her mouth covered )

Jerry : Do you know why this happened? It’s because the fridge in my family is too old. You can imagine how old it is as we had since I was young. That fridge is already 25 years in use. I am now 24 and it is even older than my sis. So it’s been around till a few days ago it spoilt. Then my sis said that it was because that the fridge was too old and it caused the leakage. She was angry that she got electrocuted.

Fang : ( Kept laughing)

Jerry : Yes! When I heard it, I felt that it was so funny.

Fang : In fact . . .

Jerry : Right!

Fang : You should use this mentality to face Life.

Jerry : No I really hope that I could bring her. At least my mind would be at ease that I know what has been wrong with her lately. We can find out the reason for the cause of her illness . . . because my mum is . . . I have to tell you even this my mum wants to save. She dare not see a doctor, do you know why? Since young we are very afraid . . . to see the doctor. If you have to operate and spend money as we couldn’t afford . . . So you become very frightened of anything unforeseen that may harm your body then you . . . you might to bear the burden of medical expenses. It would be too much for us. So because of this till now, my mum still thinks this way. She is so unwilling to go to the doctor’s. That’s what makes me so angry, you know? Like yesterday after what I saw I was very angry, yet with my mum . . . I kept trying to persuade her, ‘Why don’t you go and see the doctor? It is very normal to see a doctor. How can you just buy medicine off the counter and think that it will cure you. All right even if it does, don’t you think that it would have some side-effects? Could it cause more harm to your body in the future? We don’t know right so I rather we go to the doctor’s.’ Then my mum . . . So I truly hope that my mum sees this because . . .

Fang : Just give me your mum’s phone number.

Jerry : Do you know? There was once my mum, straight away I . . .

Fang : Ask someone to fetch her.

Jerry : My mum . . . what really makes my blood boil is when my mum goes . . . What I mean is not that it isn’t good but it’s being too superstitious. Like my mum will go to the medium and then maybe the gods will tells her how her body was. And she will do accordingly. She believes in this and she won’t make use of medical help. However I feel that consulting a doctor . . . it is very scientific! You can’t say you don’t believe in it! Of course I am not against your religion as I feel this . . . I can accept. But you cannot because of this neglect what’s modern. So do you know? When I think of this my heart aches, do you believe what others call ‘gathering herbs from the mountains’? I have ever done it for my mum before.

Fang : (Very astonished look in her eyes. )

Exciting Preview : The Modern Example of Filial Piety

Jerry : He(the medium) said that it must be picked from there. I don’t know the name of it but it’s like a root. Then you have to pull it out. My mum could only take that.

Jerry : It was so exaggerating. . .that was in 91 or 92 (according to Taiwanese Independence) . . . earthquake . . . the cement fell right off my wall.

Jerry : I was very scared then and felt that it was very dangerous. Perhaps one day there might suddenly be a lady lying on my bed.

Jerry : That kind of mountain, I swear I’m not lying. Not that I say it is so funny really. Maybe everyone won’t believe it, could it be . . . is it real because . . .

Fang : Who gave you the prescription?

Jerry : It’s from the place that my mum goes to then the medium said that my mum’s illness can’t be cured by the doctor. He said that my mum must eat this kind of herb and you can’t buy it from the shops. At a so and so mountain, I forgot the name but it is close to Tao Yuan. It’s that mountain by the side of the expressway. That’s very dangerous you know? Then he said that the herb must be picked from there. I don’t know the name of it but it’s like a root. Then you have to pull it out. My mum could only take that.

Fang : So did she recover?

Jerry : Ok I suppose not that she recovered. I don’t know if she was better or not just that she. . .

She didn’t mention it anymore.

Fang : If she uses this way then it is all right.

Jerry : But I am very fearful that . . .

Fang : At time it is a psychological problem . . .

Jerry : Yes it is a psychological problem. Everyone says that the medium is very accurate. So when you hear that you will believe it. Of course I am all for going to pray. All we ask for is to be sincere and hope that we can find some treatment. So both should go hand in hand. My mum was so then and as a result. . .When I was new in this line, I had time so I would pick the herbs for her. Then the more I did it the more I worry that she is only relying on this, do you understand? Just felt that my mum can’t go on like that.

Fang : If you keep worrying it won’t help at all, you should quickly do something about it quickly.

Jerry ; I did! As I’ve said . . . I told my Company yesterday that I didn’t want to come. But I hadn’t thought that others might misunderstand or whatever.

Fang : No, not at all . . .

Jerry : I was very naive like I was telling them how I want to bring my mum to see the doctor’s later. So I can get the Company car to send . . . I don’t have a car, I still ride my motor bike so I don’t want to pillion my mum. That’s why I was asking my Company to send me and my mum there. Yes, I feel that . . .

Fang : I have a car, I have a car, I have a chauffeur to get you there . . .

Jerry : No, it’s ok! My Company will. It’s just that I mean that I hope my mum can see this program. To let her know that I don’t want to quarrel over this. Because I feel that what I have said today is for her own good. Not that I don’t want her to go but whatever . . .

Fang : It’s not that you letting her enjoy luxuries.

Jerry : Not that I want to let her . . .

Fang : You merely want her to take care of her health.

Jerry : Yes and also to have the right attitude not only just . . .

Fang : So you got to tell your mum that ‘you are not well, I am the one in trouble. Cause I won’t be able to work. Then everyday I will have to be by your side hoping that you get better. And if not then I worse off.’ You should tell her, ‘I can’t work then I won’t be able to earn a single cent. So even if you scrim and save, what good is it? ‘

Jerry : (Nodding his head. )

Fang : Use this to scare her.

Jerry : Yes! I did tell her before that is she still . . . nothing really. I said that if she like so I won’t picked herbs for her. I won’t help her anymore.

Fang : That’s the way . . .

Jerry : Because my mum knows that when I go. . .in fact it is very dangerous to pick that. I don’t know whether if the herb is sold elsewhere. Maybe it is very special and that place is very dangerous. My mum knows it so because I help her, she feels bad about it too. So I feel that she should. . .

Fang : Your mum is rather like a kid.

Jerry : She is very childlike, in truth she is like a very small kid.

Jiao Zi : Talking about he and his mum, she is actually. . . very pleased with Ah Zhen (Jerry’s real name is Liao Yang Zhen) has accomplished. A kid from a poor family having carved a niche for himself is really something. Frankly they still keep reminding themselves that is. . . according to what I know Ah Zhen’s mum is always telling him, ‘Now that you have earned a little money, don’t be anxious to show off. . .’ As most artistes will be so, since it is money easily earned so I can spend it just as easily. His mum is constantly reminding him, ‘You must maintain your present lifestyle and character’ so as what I’ve seen he is a very thrifty person actually.’

Make-artiste Ai Le Fen : Whenever he has the time, like maybe he is free for a few days, he will go back to Tao Yuan to be with his mum. He will tell me, ‘I am going back to Tao Yuan to keep my mum company’. So I was thinking to myself this kid is so filial, so I asked him how he was going back. I thought his Company will send him there or something like that. He said, ‘No, I will ride my scooter.’ I was astonished as it was very far. He said, ‘Not at all, sometimes it is very fast.’ I mean I drive too but to me driving to Tao Yuan is such a distance. And he was riding there by scooter. You really have to give it to him. Mr. Yan, you are something else.

Fang : I feel that everyone has something that is from deep in their hearts that they want to say and it is something actually. . . how shall I put it. I can’t say to share with others but if given an opportunity, I feel that to you yourself it is a very good release. In your case, you have been through such hard times and as you have said before. With work, financial situation at home, family, all these are things we cannot push away. Our relations with our family and between our parents, there are also something we cannot choose. However besides these we have the pressures of work. So in withstanding them it will form our character in the future. Like how you love your mum, you are definitely aware of how much hardships your mum had gone through right?

Xu : (Nodded his head)

Fang : So in this year you’ve worked very hard and of course you were always very filial. Was there anything that made your mum very proud?

Xu : The most proud. . .should be that I have entered this line! Yes, in fact since young I am not . . . It’s that everyone feels that I will not amount to much or something like that, so you will. . .truthfully be looked down upon by others so in that environment it is difficult to say. Like when I had to choose whether to continue with my studies. I was very sad because I could only work, do you know? Because I want to study but my family and the environment does not allow you . . .to carry on . . . My mum is a seamstress and everyday I see her making clothes and earning so little. In my heart I was very sad so I chose to enlist in the army then. . .

Fang : To quickly enlist, to quickly enter society, to quickly support yourself so that you could help her out . . .

Xu : Yes!

Fang : But your mum’s lifestyle has improved a little now?

Xu : It is much better now! It’s just that I worry about her health. My mum is really very thrifty and over works herself. No I should say. . . It’s her thriftiness. At times I get very angry because I am already very thrifty and she is more so than I am. For instance, if my phone bill exceeds a few hundred Taiwan New dollars, she will. . . I will get a scolding from her.

Fang : But does your mum foot your bill?

Xu : No, she doesn’t but it will be sent to my home address.

Fang : Then don’t send it there!

Xu : I can’t do that cause my mum will ask to see it. Yes! I know that my mum has no security. Since from young we are so, often because of money, it has been so all this while. . .

Fang : That is quite a problem.

Xu : Yes a big problem, then when I see my mum so I can’t bear it! To my mum it has become a habit. Even nowadays, many a times, she won’t buy clothes for herself. This is true! During New Year I won’t go overseas for a holiday. I will stay at home and mostly I would stay at home to be with her. So I want to get better things for her, though now we do not earn a lot but I have the ability to let her live slightly better off. Of course I hope to. . .But my mum will say that it’s better to be thriftier or whatever. . .She will just constantly be by the side. . .

Fang : Nagging.

Xu : You will be very. . .you know?

Fang : You will get very angry at times, why don’t you treat yourself better.

Xu : Yes, in fact I am very angry with my mum at times. But she just isn’t able to treat herself this way. I frequently tell her that you can eat better and you can dress better, it is ok. I mean now. . .though I am not very well off but I’m still quite fine. Not like before it was really. . .before it was really pitiful. Before it was really. . .to the point of worrying about the next meal. Then mum had to borrow money from others and when you see her borrowing from others, you will feel. . .Frankly you feel very pathetic, you have caused your mum to borrow from others, right!

Xu : Now your mum . . . like you’ve said. . . you really did ride your scooter home?

Xu : Yes!

Fang : From Taipei to Tao Yuan, how long will it take?

Xu : Actually it is about. . .when it is faster. . .30 to 40 mins.

Fang : When you ride back before you return will you tell your mum?

Xu : Most of the time I will say! I will tell her beforehand!

Xu : Then will she prepare a sumptuous meal for you?

Xu : I know my mum’s character . . . If I am not around she will be very thrifty. Eating leftovers everyday, I know that my mum will be like that. So I will . . . feel that conversely. . .I have always thought that I should change her viewpoint and not let her continue to be like that. She isn’t healthy I also feel that it’s all because she has not been eating nutritious food. Not letting her body absorb anything good, that’s why health isn’t good. I often feel this way then she won’t go to the doctor’s when she is sick. So because of this I want to change her way of thinking and have always. . . always had squabble of this kind with her . . . Yes! I hope that my mum won’t make me sad. Like yesterday when I went . . . I was home yesterday because . . .

Jerry : I was very late last night and when I went home my mum was not feeling well.

Fang : In what way? Did you bring her for check-up?

Jerry : I very much want to! But I don’t have much time and it’s not that I am unwilling. Like today I’m not sure if the Company told you but I didn’t want to come today. I have a very valid reason that is when I saw my mum like that I was very sad. So I wanted to. . .Do you know I went yesterday cause I wanted to get some materials and then rush back for a meeting. When I got back my mum wasn’t around then she came back. But the look on her face made my heart ached. She said that lately she has been. . . having diarrhea and vomiting. Even her voice was very hoarse due to the excessive vomiting. So when I was home yesterday I wanted to bring her to the doctor’s. But the staff in the hospitals will be off work since it was late. That’s why I thought I could bring her today because I feel that this is very important to me. Yes that’s it but my Company felt that this might offend you. But my intentions are really so.

Fang : (nodding)

Jerry : It’s because I feel that I . . . at that moment I was very worried about my mum. In fact regarding this matter I was very sad about this.

Fang : Actually there is a way, you needn’t go personally I will tell you later. . .Because you would have to queue at the Hospital right! And there maybe many check-ups so definitely someone has to help you.

Xu : Yes, actually I treat my mum like . . . my ‘younger sister’, it’s like . . . no . . .what I mean is that I don’t wish that, I frequently hope that she will not feel that she is getting old or anything like that. So I often play with her, just having fun, then. . .

Fang : What do you play with your mum?

Xu : What do I play, like when I get home I will pinch her face. Like this then it is very. . . very like that! Do you understand? Like I will catch hold of my mum and just clown around with her. So that she will feel that she is still very young. Because at times I am very worried about my mum being alone. And then she like that at home. . .

Fang : When you were schooling, you changed a lot of schools, was it because you were weak in studies?

Subtitles on Screen : Supporting the Family since Young

Xu ; Actually when I was schooling it was because that my studies were . . .

Fang : Were your studies good?

Xu : That’s right! Didn’t I tell you . . . I was the Monitor of my classes since young?

Fang : oh.

Xu : I was in the Best Class but because of family circumstances, I had no choice but to work.

Fang : How old were you when you started work?

Xu : I worked since about Grade 5.

Fang : What can a Grade 5 do?

Xu : Like the kind for child worker, packaging things.

Fang : Really?

Xu : Of course it is true.

Fang : Those piece by piece and the pay is based on that.

Xu : Yes, but when we were young it was . . .right! I remember that it was like $500 a month. Then earning $500 was not bad since we are just child workers. Right!

Fang : Do you need to earn money then?

Xu : It should be so! Right!

Fang : So all along the way, I feel that your growing years . . .

Xu : That’s why, I should put it this way. Like there was once I was in a program and the host asked me, if being in this line I was unhappy, would I be willing to leave. I said that I would not be willing to leave. It’s because. . .

Subtitles on Screen : Besides Work There is Still Work

Xu : Because I know how I’ve come this far from then so like when I talk about the past. . . I could have thought of going to the University but my family situation wasn’t very good. I could not go and then I wanted to learn. . .In fact, I really wanted so much to learn the piano then. Do you know that I too felt that I had varied interests? When young, I was already writing lyrics, it was but a kind of interest, however I do not have the time to learn it properly. . .

Fang : There wasn’t an environment?

Xu : Yes, no such environment. So my impression of my childhood is that I must study non-stop and work non-stop too. And my work took up most of my time. Can you imagine how wretched it was? Even if I had a rather high post but my home is in Tao Yuan. Everyday I have to go to school in Taipei. The time spent traveling on public transport takes about 3 to 4 hours. So can you imagine? Furthermore after school I had to work at ATT. I was working at the ATT bar counter thus after work it would be almost 10. Reaching home it would so late. Moreover I was in the top class and the monitor so I had a lot of responsibilities.

Xu : Yes, right! There wasn’t much time left for sleeping at that time. That’s why I felt that it was so. . .yes, right! Very hard. . .

Fang : Could I give you a hug? Come, a little hug!

Xu : It’s not that! No matter how many trials or whatever happens, I can go for drama and music classes. I am very happy that I have this opportunity now. Because I want to record my album, I can go for singing lessons. But before I truly have a lot of interests, I like to dance very much! I like singing very much but due to the lack of learning environment to inspire me towards. . .

Fang : How about your sister? She has also suffered too right?

Xu : My sister is still having a hard time, at present she is . . . right!

Fang : Do you hope that I won’t continue anymore? Seeing you this way, my heart really aches. But you said just now right! If when seeing your story everyone could. . . those watching the TV would feel that I want to be like Jerry Yan too, true? Do you feel sad for your mum? Or because of what you had gone through, do you feel sad for yourself?

Xu : ( Doesn’t answer just shaking his head )

Xu : Actually it should be put this way because Big Brother Jacky is my idol! Whenever we go to KTV we sing his songs. . .

Fang : Can’t stop singing.

Xu : Yes, I would felt that when such a person is before me today, I respect him so much yet the result is that the media wrote about how I treated him. Then to me, it is smearing his reputation and I felt that it is to me it is a form of injury. Furthermore that was the most hectic period since I had entered this line. I talked to my Company before that I was extremely bothered by that report. . . It wasn’t so and just because of what they have said I felt that what I have put in, all the hard work was not noticed by them. And then they used such, I know that it is all very superficial. The trials I had encountered when I entered this line and those kind of. . . How you would feel about this environment as a whole and how I dealt with it. How I had worked hard at doing certain matters. People won’t know about the going-on in between, the setbacks. I mentioned it in the book too that I would like to share with everyone. You know how everyone needs to be encouraged and to be. . .Just like I like to read motivational books very much. When at times I feel daunted but as you read these books you, yes, sometimes when I’m having troubles. But when you read of how the disabled are able to move on courageously, when you see their photos, do you know? That is a kind of string within that can touch the soul. You would feel that the society is such that everyday you are faced with a lot of bad news. A lot of negative reports. So why don’t I allow myself to be like those who have fought on with gusto. Also, those people are pitiful, (it is amazing) how they have endured the hardships, that is why i feel that if i am able to have the influence people the same way, i would want to....i hope to achieve this.

Jiao Zi : What I know is that at a very young age, what I mean is. . . Firstly his family situation isn’t very good and that’s the first! Jun : He was very concerned about his performance on screen like for ‘Meteor Garden’. Later he was filming ‘Come to My Home!’, he plays ‘Yi Ye’ who is an excellent pianist. But he doesn’t know anything about playing the piano. So in order to get into the role, he went to his friend’s place and asked his friend to teach him.

Jiao Zi : He’s really something. There’s no need to wake him up in the morning. When the time is up, he will get out of bed by himself. Then he can continue to shoot for the whole day. ‘So after a day of filming, one would think that’s it, right? No, he goes back, he would rewind the tape to review his performance that day. Xu : It’s not that I’m afraid I don’t have, I should say, because I have all these that is why I am working very hard to show how I appreciate having them. Because there is a chance now, everyone is presently giving us a chance to perform. So I want to do my very best. It is better than in the future. . . Honestly speaking, there may come a day when others might not be bothered about you. Then they won’t give you a chance anymore. Fang : Do you feel that you had not gone through a very long and arduous time or wait before you found fame. And when you became famous so suddenly, you were at a loss as to how to handle it. Xu : You can say that. Yes, actually I did not have the intention of entering this line. But there were some opportunities later and so I came in. Then . . . yes! Just feel that I have so much to learn in so many areas! Because I will feel inadequate as I feel like I am lacking in some things! Like for instance : during acting I would meet some seniors or peers. You would feel that so many people are so confident and are able to do their own stuff.

Fang : Do you know where their confidence stems from? ~ Being relaxed.

Xu : Maybe!

Fang : It’s like we were having a meal that day, you told me, ‘so many people are waiting to see how we F4 will fade away.’ When you mention this, it shows your pessimistic view on matters. I would rather say, ‘everyone really, really wants to see since Taiwan has such a group, how such a group or such a person like you in Taiwan, how long would all of you be able to sustain?’ It is the same matter but you would think, ‘they are watching to see my downfall’ so. . .

Xu : That’s right!

Fang : I feel that it is important to be validated. But I feel that how you adjust psychologically once you’ve entered this line is more important than to learn dancing or playing the piano. From the start you weren’t able to adapt and so was misunderstood by others, right?

seeing the Cover Page interview with jerry totally broke my heart. ang dami palang pinagdaanan ni jerry since he was a kid until his shot to fame sa Meteor Garden. im glad that he has surpassed all these obstacles and it's evident naman sa kanyang disposition. before he was so pessimistic and he lacked confidence. now he smiles and laughs a lot and you know na he's appreciating everything he has right now. im so happy for him. lam mo naman tayo, pag sad siya, sad din tayo. pag happy siya, nakikirejoice din tayo.


so he's living pala with his mom.that's good. i heard kasi na nakikitira daw siya with his friend. pero not sure. can anyone confirm this? may news din ba kayo about him?

It's not a concert. It's a short performance of him singing on SAND's 1st Anniversary Celebration.

SAND is the biggest executive club in Indonesia. Other international artists such as vicky zhau n others (sorry cant remember), hv also performed there.

SANDS sells around 1600 - 2000 seats.Price is between Rp - Rp 500.000 - 1.500.000. It's a gala dinner celebration.

Besides Jerry, SANDS will have one local star and i heard it's Agnes Monica.

Let me introduce to you the youngest fan of Jerry Yan. Show him a picture of F4 and he would easily recognize JY. Named after of course, Jerry, and simply added a Nicholas...Jerry Nicholas is a healthy, active and smart little one. Fast songs would make him dance instantly. He loves listening to music too and his top faves includes Twinkle, Twinkle Little Star and JY`s Gravity which always make him smile upon hearing it. He`s also interested in watching cartoon shows like Barney, Garfield and Mickey Mouse, but he loves Stitch the most. Jerry Nicholas is the nephew of Jerry`s Kingdom moderator, Heidi. Jerjer, that`s how they address him, is the son of Heidi`s cousin. This little boy is a product of an early pregnancy, his mother, being so young could not carry the responsibilities, good thing, her aunt Heidi, is always there to carry all the loads...even when he was still in his mother`s womb, Heidi treated him like her own, she even called him her " Little Miracle" ...I witnessed how Heidi worked hard just for him, how she cried when he was brought to the hospital because of bronchial problems, how happy she was when he learned how to clap his hands, how she wakes up in the middle of the night to fix milk for him, and how my tears fell when I saw them sleeping, embracing each other.
Jerry Nicholas is my godson, my "inaanak", and I am so honored and at the same time very proud of this young thing..I do pray that he grows up to be a good individual, and may God bless him in every step of the way...

Eversince Wu Yu Sen announced that the role of "Xiao Quiao" in " Chi Bi Zhi Zhan" will be given to her, Taiwan's First Model LZL then got caught up into all sorts of different rumors whose truth cant be distinguised anymore. After her "horse fall" incident, it later sank and then again reached its peak along with it.

She plans to go abroad to study, and to film naked in a drama, she dropped a hint of the break up. But are all the recent LZL rumors actually false? News sources yesterday afternoon said that reporters called up LZL's manager Fan Qing Mei. She clarified all these rumors for LZL.


Break-up? Their relationship hasn't changed

Jerry and LZl rumors are that which can stop quickly that people can then easily forget. Recently, because LZL's popularity again rised, people began to remember. A Singapore media exposed yesterday, that when LZL attended a watch event in China recently, she no longer used the word "good friend" for Jerry, and also hardly expressing that both of them are "not familiar" anymore. Media then concluded: LZL hinted that she and Jerry's "feelings are already over." In addition, media also checked to verify that Jerry and LZL had broke up for two months now. As for the cause of the break up, it is reported that its because both "are each busy."

" Before, they had some relationship, but now they still have that reltionship. " said Fan Qing Mei yesterday. LZL and Jerry's relationship "havent changed." The words are somewhat vague ---- actually that some relationship hasnt changed. Is it a companionship or a friendly relationship? Fan Qing Mei clearly indicated : "They are still friends." As for their getting along present situation Fan Qing Mei said, " Since they are friends, it only natural that they would keep to get in touch with each other."
