Bao Long being blocked, Bored filming, leaves

The day before, Bao Long Jerry Yan was filming The Hospital on the streets with a good mood. At first, he was still talking and laughing with female actress, Xu An An. When he accidently realised that reporters were following, the filming team quickly helped to protect the screen. However, Jerry was still not feeling good and left halfway, leaving the filming crew not knowing what to do!

Taipei's weather have dipped. The day before, as the weather was extremely better, The Hospital's filming team arrived at Da Ren Ai Lu Tuan Lu at around 65 plus to flim a scene of a opposit scene of Jerry and Xu An An. However, it started raining at 7pm. The filming team who wanted to start filming had to dispatch everything in a rush. When Jerry and Xu An An arrived, the rain couldn't stop.

Although the skies weren't nice. Jerry was in a good mood when he arrived at the filming scene, laughing and talking to Xu An An. However, when he realised reporters were taking pictures, he had an alert and became bored. The filming crew also came out and helped to block the cameras.

This scene was supposed to be Jerry driving Xu An An. However, after both of them drove out, we only saw Xu An An coming back alone. Reporters saw the filming crew asking Xu An An where is Baolong. Xu An An said, "Left!"

Male lead have left first and the leftover filming team didn't know what to do. Adding that the big rain didn't stop, the team left and went home to film another day!

Regarding this, The Hospital in charge says, " Bao Long is not unhappy and we didn't film at Ren Ai Yuan Huan. That's only a place where the filming team gathered. When everyone is here, they'll start filming the conversation of Jerry and Xu An An in the car."

As to the car that Xu An An drove back alone, she said it might not be Jerry who have left first. But, it's that he have already ended filming and left for home and did not return back to the place where the filming team met. Bao Long is very compromising when he is doing filming. He won't leave because he is unhappy.

(tyo ung nakukunsumi e...whehehe:p) but seriously he should really take care of himself coz' were not literally by his side to take care of him... so he should do that by himself and with his mom.... I remember he once said that everybody should take care of himself and now he's the one that's not obeying himself... I hope he will not have gastric pains anymore... coz based from from experiences that really hurts so bad..:(

There is a news at UDN site today about Jerry's kind & generous heart. The reporter says that he is an artist who has remained simple from the old days until today no change, despite gaining more money & fame - still uses his old motorbike & simple house. But where frens and family are concerned, he is SO SO SO generous http://67.18.37.15/html/emoticons/wub.gif . He gives money to his mom all the time, she is also a simple person & does not want to spend on herself, so she says "i'll save the money in case he needs it one day"... When he plays games with his mother he will purposely lose so he has to pay her a "fine" http://67.18.37.15/175/66/emo/haha.gif . He donates a lot to charity but mostly anonymously. Whenever a friend is in trouble / mentions that they need or like something, he will quietly give money or buy the thing without any fuss. He is so kind that he has sometimes been deceived by friends who know of his kind heart (aaaahhhh!, how could they??)

Jerry Yan can also be known as a Santa Claus, sending gifts to people throughout the years. Rumoured that he bought a house for Lin Chiling at Ba De Road is nothing, even his friend's wife alimony fees, other people girlfriend dream bed, he is willing to fork it all. He was also cheated by his trusted friend of his money.

Being a Capricon, Jerry Yan is known for his thrifty nature. He is now still driving a 10 yr old car, sometimes still rides his bike. But no doubt, this nature only applies to himself and not to this friends and mum. That is the reason why alot of people will make use of this character of his, as long as he sees you as a friend, he will believe whatever you say.

The most absurd would have to be he being nearly cheated off his money by this trusted friend. Initially he wanted to buy a Benz and hire a driver so as to facilitate transport for his mum. But his mum reprimaned him saying that he is being wasteful. Being a filial son, he didnt buy the car, and left the relevant documents with his friend. In the end, his friend ran off with his money. This was settled only when a rather influential manager in the entertainment industry help him settle this.

Another time he wanted to buy a small house for his mum. Close friend introduced him his relative to be his agent. However the agent quoted him a price much much higher than the market rate forcing him to buy. Luckily this scam was seen through by another friend, preventing Jerry from falling into the trap. Previously there was this friend that cried that he has no money to pay alimony fees, Jerry gave him a sum of money, the last heard was he bought a new house.

Last year, Jerry went shopping with old army friends at a furniture store. His friend spotted a bed and said:" My girlfriend loves this kind of bed."Jerry didnt respond on the spot. But on Christmas eve, the bed was delivered to his friend's house. That bed was worth almost 5 times more than Jerry's own bed! In the end, the friend's house was too small, the bed can't get in, he exchanged for a smaller bed and with the leftover, he bought new furnitures.

This is is way of loving his friends. Action speaks louder than words.A primary school friend who was good to him, but in dire states now, he helped him by employing him to be a driver. Jerry's assistant was with him for three years, working hard without greivances, he gave a 50Èf big red packet during new year. Gifts that he received from fans, he would spend time aranging and sending them to charitable organisations, he also uses other names to adopt many kids.

His friends feel that its easy for him to earn money, making use of his gullible nature, its easy to cheat him. At the end of the day, only his mum can be trusted. Jerry Yan said:" I work hard only to give my mum a better life" However his mum will always help him to save the money that he gives her in order for his marriage in future. Jerry Yan said he can only resort to playing dices with his mum to purposely lose to her, only then will she take the money.

On New Year's Day (Jan. 1, 2006) is Jerry Yan’s birthday. He will be 29 years old. In the same day, he wants to film the series "WhiteGreatTower" and must pass in the work. His fans pray for him and hold a charitable walk who will help the child which in need. Jerry Yan’s fans were greatly touched. Jerry makes a series when he witnessed in the hospital many case of illness and make a document which he has a deep experience in life frail and changes in life. He hoped everybody treasures life, and health is the most important. He promised to complete the series as a traditional Chinese doctor's role, and wishes everybody a good health and happiness next year.

The charitable walk to raise funds

Last month, Jerry attended an activity in Malaysia, and once pumped out and visited in the hospital a burned-3-year-old the child. He hoped in his own strength can help the child. Jerry Yan Fans from Hong Kong and Taiwan thereupon hold a charitable walk and write blessing words and expressions in the balloons. The funds will be donated in Hong Kong? Fans also has opened the donation registration address for him, and facilitates the donated money as necessary.

A group of fans will hold a "Charity Walk" and prays for good luck. Jerry Yan was very appreciative.

On January 1 each year, Jerry says that it has a double significance. This day does not only start the new year, it is also his birthday. He is turning 29 years old, and on the same day, he will spend his birthday working, shooting Cai Yue Xun's new drama "The Hospital" because it is nearing its finishing stages. For this reason, given that excellent part, all havent got any vacation. However, a group of his fans then held a "Walk-For-A- Cause Competition". In additon to this, they would pray outside for his good fortune on the eve of his birthday. Jerry Yan is rushing to flim The Hospital and he can only spend his 29th birthday and his romantic christmas day with fliming. His close friends revealed, his christmas wish was that "the people he loves" would be healthy. This made people think of Lin Zhi Ling. At her 31 years old birthday last month, he wished that she will be healthy. His birthday this time, he don't wish for anything, hoping that she'll be healthy, filled with emotions.

Jerry have been fliming The Hospital for half a year and is predicted to be ending fliming during lunar chinese new year. On his birthday, he would be spending it with the fliming crew. The person in charge laughed and said, "We will celebrate his birthday secretly, at least prepare a cake. We will celebrate birthdays for the crew and actors and actresses every month, it's very warm." Lin Zhi Ling would be hosting the countdown show at Gao Xiong, performing with Leehom. Thus, the two of them might not be able to meet up.

Recently, the main script of the show has been placed on Jerry. He have been fliming day and night, eating and sleeping little. Under the big pressure, he will run at the stadium or work out when he is free. Although he has slimmed down on 5kg, his health condition is still not bad. It was Director Cai who didn't have his 3 meals properly, spoiling his gastric.

Jerry gave his birthday wishes hoping that "people he loves" will be healthy. Around the circle of course includes Director Cai and Lin Zhi Ling. Lin Zhi Ling spent her birthday in November, Jerry wished her "Hope she will get well soon, healthy." One month later, Jerry still hopes she will be healthy for his birthday wish. Lin Zhi Ling's brother was quite happy to hear Jerry's concern for Lin Zhi Ling.

It's actually a very good report, especially coming from China Times Weekly, who used to write very negatively about Jerry. In their 1323 edition (some time in 2004 before Jerry's album was released), China Times Weekly reported that Jerry got mad in the recording room, threw the microphone, and yelled at the production crew. This report was totally untrue. Just because the reporter didn't know Jerry well, he/she shouldn't irresponsilibily point fingers at him. In this article, the reporter apologized to Jerry for their previous misreporting and for causing him grievance.

The rest of the article is pretty much a recap of the reports written earlier this month. That Jerry is much more relaxed these days and even joked with reporters (he said he has thick skin which is why he doesn't have skin problems regardless of what he eats). He doesn't use the web and hasn't use his e-mail account over a year. He only got his I-pod recently. The craziest thing he did was going skimpy dipping in a villa in Bali. That Jerry is extremely popular overseas. It's no doubt he is the respresentative of Taiwan stars overseas. His products are the best selling among F4 in Japan's HMV chart. On the topic of the [The Hospital], Jerry said he still has room for improvement and wants to work with Director Cai to change his image. Filming [The Hospital] has also taught him to appreciate life. He's very happy to be working with great actors such Leon Dai, Saya, and Da Su. Working with them gives him a lot of pressure, but it's also very challenging. With their guidance, Jerry has improved greatly on his acting skills. There was one scene that Jerry and Leon Dai filmed for 4 to 5 hours until daylight and Jerry was determined to film until the director was satisfied even though he had to fly to China that very morning. Sometimes after the director called "cut", but if Jerry was not satisfied with the work, he would ask to take another round. Jerry is indeed a good and professional actor.

According to BS Fan (a Japanese magazine), Feb. 06 issue, WT will be broadcasted in TW next February.

WT will have two versions:

International version: 38 episodes with 60 minutes per episode
TW version: 25 episodes with 90 minutes per episode

This created a stir to Jerry and his management. The management thought that these were somewhat not true, and should not cause prejudice for Jerry. Those who wouldn’t know will just accuse Jerry right away and so there shouldn’t be a need for more complete query if it will not cause harm to persons involved. This earlier news indeed got wrong to Jerry and expressed apology.

Later walked to huge fame all over Asia, Jerry Yan even more strived hard for perfection, spending a lot of brain-storming and discussions with the staff, but sometimes getting very worried that on his face he undeniably looked upset. Letting himself to have high aspirations on this aspect, Jerry first rises up his spirit to avoid heartaches. But ever since he worked together with Andy Lau and Sammy Cheng, he learned other deeds, and recently, he has been laughing more and more and also let his mood gradually improve

Jerry accepted an interview appointment that day, and started to play jokes, that someone acclaimed to tell him, “You have colds again, also had not slept and eaten well, and you unexpectedly didn’t have small pox!” We haven’t thought that Jerry would respond without hesitating, “Because I am thick-faced, a!” Jerry possesses a natural beauty, and whether he eats spicy or eats sour foods, both would unlikely affect his skin, allowing the women in the area to feel envious again and again.

Jerry Yan and Leon Dai once had a single scene in the drama that took an entire 4-5 hours to shoot.

If Korea has Bae Yong Jun, Taiwan's counterpart would have no other else than Jerry Yan. His arrival in Thailand tested young spirits, resulting not only to airport chaos, the press conference even attracted as much as 130 press attending, and with its impressive look quite astonishing.

In this year's HMV charts in Japan, it ranks among the top 10 in the audio-visual products reservations. Taiwan's F4 is tucked in rank no. 3. Vic Zhou and Vanness Wu ranked 6 and 9 respectively, but Jerry's performance ranking is best. . He had 2 entries with ranks 2 and 5 defeating Korea's rank no. 3 of Bae Yong Jun and rank no.10 of Song Seung Hun. However, Jerry is a strong Rank 1 super man overseas. but instead of allowing F4 fans feel nervous, he was able to break away to develop each of their own careers but Jerry only wanted the fans to feel relieved and on taking care of 4 individual careers, each of them had long been quite busy. He is now busy finishing "The Hospital" and still can go to meets and do pre-schedules for future promo events.

It was mentioned that he was recently caught up with shooting "The Hospital." Jerry felt and sent out his words, " I still need to develop my own acting skills. In working with Director Cai Yue Xun, even if he wishes that I must do new changes, I shoot everyday until I'll be moved to cry half-way along the shooting and "The Hospital" made me learn to value life."

This time, Jerry is together with Golden awardee movie king Leon Dai and Golden Bell awardee movie queen SAYA. Also, a power cast of senior stars Wu Meng Da and others doing a lot master performances, his pressures are rather huge. But yet, he also felt rather craving for more because there were veterans in the drama that is making Jerry's acting skills advance into great excellence, that every next scene of working together all allows his "quiao" to leap endlessly.

So as not to fail everyone's expectations, Jerry and Leon Dai, for the drama once shot a single scene for a whole 4-5 hours. barely managed to separate very early and then left the location set every other day to travel, actually until dawn waiting for the Director to accompllish his next scenes later and only then he could stop working.

The drama eats most of Jerry's time. Daily shooting lasts all day, reporting at 3 early morning and stops very late at night. Staff said that rumors continue to spread that Jerry is very difficult to handle. However, while he respects the business side, he also joins the filming of the performers. With regards to looking at Jerry, they also observed substantial changes, because he did not only demanded perfection. Sometimes, the Director shouts "Cut" and he thought the Director might have not been satisfied. Yet, he was able to require himself to come first again , and be good specialized performers.

The Hospital - Jerry Yan Looks for Perfection

When he wasn't popular, Jerry Yan was afraid of lonliness, thus, he doesn't like to go out alone. To avoid such feelings, he decided not to go out and stay home. He was always quiet when he is with friends, making people misunderstand that he is someone with a very bad temper. However, friends around him knows, Jerry was only afraid of spoiling things. So, to minimise misunderstandings, he choose not to reply.

Earlier on, on our magazine issue 1323, we reported rumours that he got angry in the recording studios and slammed the mike,scolding the producer, causing his management company and he himself to feel frustrated. The management company feels that, details were unreal. They cannot push the blame to Jerry just because the outside world is bias towards him. They should have full prove so that it will not cause him pain. The magazine now apologizes for his suffering pain.

Ever since he became popular in Asia, he have been looking for perfection. He spend many efforts to talk to the crew. However, he would be so anxious sometimes that his face reveals a frustrated expression, allowing others to make big articles. At first, it hurt Jerry alot. But, after working with Andy Lau, Sammi Cheng, he was enlighten. Currently, he is smiling more and his spirits have gone higher.

When Jerry was recieving this interview, he initiated jokes to warm the place. Someone praised him, "You're sick and not having enough sleep, but you don't have any pimples !" Jerry actually replied in a un-fake tone, "That's because i have thick skin !" So, that's Jerry, no matter how spicy, sour food he takes, it will not affect his skin, making the girls there all so jealous.

To reward everyone for their praises, not only Jerry was very humorous when talking, he even revealed his own privacy, changing impressions that people who used to be distanced from him. Jerry describes himself as a ancient. As he doesn't go online, don't go out, don't read newspapers and have not check his email for a year, he was being killed off his phone by the telephone company. He only started using ipod recently. His private life wasn't like of a young person.

In Japan's HMV chart, Jerry's album sold the best, beating Bae Yong Joon and Song Cheng Xian. Before he head to Thailand, Jerry who was bored seemed to be in a good mood, he kept talking about cold jokes to make everyone laugh.

This time in his trip to Thailand, someone asked him what was the craziest thing he have done before, he admitted for the first time, "Skinny Dipping in a resort in Bali." This answer came as a suprise to the girls there, seeing the superstar charm that was growing from Jerry Yan.

If Korea's representative is Bae Yong Joon, Taiwan celebrities title would be given to Jerry Yan. Going to Thailand to try a little popularity, it almost created chaos in the Thailand airport. His press conference had more than 130 medias attending, suprising people.

This year, at Japan's HMV chart, his music became part of Top Ten. Taiwan's F4 had 3 members who squeezed into it. Among, Vic Zhou and Vanness Wu were in the 6 and 9 slot. Jerry's was the best, he had 2 on the chart, being on slot 2 and 5, beating Bae Yong Joon at No.3 and Song Cheng Xian at No.10. However, Jerry's popularity overseas bothered F4 fans, afraid that he would develop on his own without F4. However, Jerry wants his fans not to worry. Although the 4 of them are busy with their own stuffs. They would be getting together for promo after he finishes fliming The Hospital.

Talking about rushing fliming for The Hospital recently, Jerry said, "I still have much to learn for my acting skills, I want to have a change that is why i work with Director Cai Yue Xuan. I often drop tears during fliming because i'm so touched. The Hospital taught me to learn to cherish and protect life." There's much pressure too but he feels great. With the elders, Jerry Yan's acting skills changes each time he work with them.

In order not to let everyone down, there was once for a scene with Dai Li Ren, they took for 4-5 hours. And he had to proceed to China for work early next morning. He held on till morning and left only after Director Cai was happy with him.

Jerry, who holds heavy scenes always have to flim for a whole day. He'll report in the morning and only finish at midnight. The crew expressed that outsiders gossip that Jerry is hard to deal with but they could see his professionalism in his work. Actors who were involved, have a huge change of impression of Jerry. That's because he calls for perfection. Sometimes, when the Director shouts CUT, he would ask for another time if he finds that it's not enough, he is a good professional actor.

Falling Artists - F4's Imaginations Burst

F4, who have been very popular last year have been progressing on their own this year. Many a times, there were even rumours of Jerry Yan setting up his own company. This year, when the 4 of them came to HK, although they had fans recieving them, the craziness level was unlike before.

All 4 of them had gossips flying around, like Ken Chu having intimate secret meet-up sessions with Li BingBing and his other girlfriend, Mayi cried and pointed out that he was stepping on 2 boats. Vic Zhou is going steady with Da S, leaving the girls imginations burst. Vanness Wu's Dragon Squad movie in the HK box office didn't do as well as expected and Jerry Yan is only busy fliming The Hospital. Adding to korea's Rain new popularity, fans have a change of heart.

Oral-B Meet and Greet with Jerry in Thailand

After starting the special campaign with the handsome presenter, Jerry Yan Cheng Xu, a former member of F4, in Hong Kong, Oral-B arranged the Meet & Greet Activities with Oral-B and Jerry in another 2 countries i.e. Malaysia and Thailand. Knowing about this activity to be held, his fans spared neither effort nor money in sending Oral-B packages to participate in the lucky draw. This was only for seeing his smile closely. As a result, there were more than 70,000 Oral-B packages sent for participation in the luck draw, which has 1,090 tickets for Meet & Greet Activity as a prize. There were winners and losers. Nevertheless, as expected, the ones who won several tickets sold some tickets for profit. The highest price was more than 10,000 Baht while the lowest as posted in the internet was 3,500 Baht. This proved this handsome presenter be still really hot.

His arrival was 12.15 p.m. on Dec. 2, 2005 by CI693. This was informed to the media and fans. It was also informed that he would come out from the gate via a normal route. So surprised! This was because in the past, when F4 came to Thailand, they have always used the VIP route or had a car to pick them up from the plane. It could be said that no one could see even their shadows at the airport. Thing changed for this time. Therefore, there were many reporters and fans going to welcome him at the airport. To be well-prepared, Jerry took off from CKS International Airport, Taipei, Taiwan in Oral-B clothes, a light blue linen shirt and white trousers, the same clothes as those worn during the activity in Hong Kong. With the temperature of lower than 10 degree Celsius in Taipei, those kinds of clothes did not protect him much from such a cold temperature. It was seen that Jerry hold himself all the way since entering to the airport.

After the plane landed, Jerry with sunglasses and staff came out from Gate 44 as the last group of passengers from that flight. When they appeared, the area became full of flash from cameras, screams and shouts of his name "Jerry". Some of his fans even went to welcome him in the immigration area. This handsome guy smiled all the way. After finishing the immigration procedures, they faced another group of fans. Jerry said "Sawasdee Krab" to them with a Thai greeting gesture. Similarly, when he came out from the arrival gate, he greet with a Thai gesture nicely (also stood still) and said "Sawasdee Krab" very clearly. After that, all the media ran to him to take photos chaotically. This made more than 10 security guards and under-covered polices working very hard to protect him. When Jerry walked pass the groups of his fans who tried to give him gifts or shake hand with him, he tried his best to accept the gifts and shake hand with everyone with smile. After struggling to successfully enter into the van, Jerry took off his sunglasses, opened the shades, made a Thai greeting gesture, waved his hand and smiled to his fans. This deeply impressed all his fans, especially his diehard fans. Then, Jerry and his staff checked in at Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. They stayed in a suite room on 21st floor. It was heard that this hotel was selected because of its excellent security. Especially, it had many entrances and exits, therefore, it was very difficult for fans to chase. As to the activities on that day, it was rumored that he went to Sri Racha Tiger Zoo to shoot a short movie for Thailand tourism promotion arranged by Oral-B. However, this rumor was not confirmed. But, it was confirmed that he went to somewhere around the Peninsula Hotel to have a Thai dinner on the boat drifting along the Chao Phraya river. It was reported that he tried several Thai dishes. He liked sour and hot dishes like Tom Yam Goong (sour and hot shrimp soup), Pad Thai (Thai-style fried noodle). He was asked whether he was afraid that hot foods may not be good to the skin. He replied that he was not because his skin was highly resistant. He was happy with foods and with drifting along the river in the boat. Even though he was very full and sleepy, he tried not to let himself fall asleep. This was because he would like to appreciate the night view along the Chao Praya river.... It is like a child finding a right place to travel… Therefore, Jerry and his staff came back to the hotel almost midnight.

On the next day, the scheduled activities were full throughout the day. This started from recording a TV program "Tee Nee Mochit" at 12.20 p.m., following by another TV program "Siam Square" at Grand Hyatt Erawan Hotel. Only the staff from the TV programs were allowed to enter into the recording room. If you would like to know how they were, please follow up on those TV programs when they were on air. After finishing those two TV programs, Jerry and staff went to Horwang School to held "Oral-B Healthy Smile Secrets" Activity at Main Hall of Horwang School at around 14.30 p.m.

When the team arrived at Horwang School, there were about 500 fans waiting outside the school walls. Some even climbed on the walls. They all hoped to see their idol. Jerry seemed to know his fans' minds. When he got off the van, he turned to greet his fans with a Thai gesture and waved to all the fans outside the walls. This made his fans feel impressed again. As to the activity inside the Main Hall of the school, there were about 500 lower secondary school students selected to participate in this activity. Once Jerry entered into the Hall, the Hall was full of screams. He also walked through the aisle of the Hall to the stage. The security guards had to work very hard. Nevertheless, he could safely get on to the stage. He said "Sawasdee Krab" with a Thai greeting gesture and smiled very sweetly to the children. The screams came up again. In this activity, Tin Chokekamolkij was both the host and the translator himself. At the beginning, during a standard interview, Jerry was so shy that he picked up the tooth model to play. He said that during his school years, there was no singer or actor coming to the school like this. Then, the interview went on to the topic of oral care. After the interview, he joined a game with 10 students who were selected by the dentists. Jerry said that the game was called "Yi Er San.... Nueng Song Sam (1 2 3)". His Thai when saying the numbers was very clear. The game required the players to put their hands on their heads when the host said 1, to put their hands on their shoulders when the host said 2 and to shake their waists when the host said 3. Before the game started, it was requested that Jerry show how to make each gesture as an example. He showed very cutely as requested. (Screams... again) After the game proceeded for a while, only one out of the total five teams failed. The host, then, decided to call the numbers himself. (Before that, Jerry was the one who called the numbers in Thai). As a result, Jerry was the one who failed (as he also joined the game). So, Jerry pretended to walk down from the stage. This raised a lot of laughter in the Hall. As awards for all the participants, Jerry gave pillows with his autograph (signed right on the stage) to all the participants. After that, they all shot the photos together. Jerry was so playful that he pinched the cheeks of the girls when taking the photo together. This made other students very jealous of those two girls.

Finishing the "Healthy Smile Secrets" Activity, Jerry went for the press conference held at Bangkok Convention Center, 4th floor, Central Department Store, Ladprao at 16.30 p.m. Before, Jerry appeared, Tin, the host, invited Mr. Chalermpong Mahawanichwong, the director of Gillette Thailand, to talk about this handsome presenter and the activities. After that, the host introduced Jerry to the press. He changed his clothes to a black suit with a white shirt. He looked very formal and still very very...handsome. He came out with his "close friend", which was a mascot (a tooth with toothbrush). Jerry introduced the mascot that "This is my best friend...Oral-B". The room was suddenly full of flash from cameras and sound of shutter clicks. The interview then started with the questions, most of which were pre-arranged by the organizer. Answering the first question, Jerry revealed his feeling in coming back to Thailand after more than a year that he was very glad to receive a warm welcome from his fans and the press. He also said that this visit changed his impression of Thailand. He felt that Thailand was more beautiful than he imagined. He was also very impressed with the characters of Thai people. When being asked the girl from which countries had the most impressive smile. He replied with an unbiased answer that "I think that when we smile to each other when we met, it is like we would like to make friends. Among several countries I've been, I think the girls from each country have their own unique smiles." Then, the press was given a chance to ask 3 questions. There was a question about "Star Jerry". Jerry refused to answer gently by saying that as this issue was sensitive, he would not like to talk too much about it. Then, there was a question whether there would be the next F4 concert in Thailand. Jerry replied with a question to check his popularity that "if it is held, will Thai people go to see?". The press seemed to temporarily forget their status as the press and answered as one voice that "I will". Jerry smiled very sweetly after hearing that. When being asked about the new TV drama "The Hospital", Jerry said that it was now 60% completed but he still did not know when it would be fully completed. He said a joke that if you would really like to know, you had to ask the director. Tin, the host, took a joke and said that "So we have to call the director now". All the people there laughed very loudly. When being asked about his skinner figure, Jerry said that he tried to eat more to raise his weight. He also said that he was now working very hard and put very large effort in it, he hoped that his fans would still encourage him. Then, it came the fans' long-waiting activity, "Oral-B Smile Party with Jerry" at Bangkok Convention Center, 5th floor. The door was opened about an hour late from the schedule. But this seemed not to discourage Jerry's fans, which consisted of both Thai and overseas e.g. Hong Kong, China, Japan, Vietnam. The fans gradually entered into the hall and were very eager to see their idol. About 19.00 p.m., the host, Tin, appeared and greeted with fans. He said that it had already been more than a year that we had not met this guy. Then, he urged the fans to shout "Jerry, Jerry, Jerry". When Jerry appeared on the stage in a black turtle-necked sweatshirt, black trousers and a brown leather jacket, the hall was full of screams. He greet the fans with a Thai gesture and said "Sawasdee Krab", following by a sweet smile, the smile by which many ladies said they were almost melt down. This made the screams continue for quite a while. Tin greet Jerry in Chinese "Jerry, Ni hao" and turned to the audience asking "It's been more than a year that we have not met him, hasn't it? Do you miss him?". Everyone answered "miss him". Unexpectedly, Jerry replied in Thai immediately that "I also miss you". This reply not only raised another wave of the screams, but also won the hearts of all young and old ladies in the hall. Then, Tin said that on that day, Jerry did not feel so well, his voice was a bit lost. This was because recently, he had to shoot the TV drama all the days but he split the time to join this Meet & Greet Activity with fans. The first activity was inviting the fans to sing a song "One Metre" in his first solo album. It was rumored that the fans who joined this singing were pre-selected by the organizer because all of them were representatives from each of Jerry fanclubs. Anyway, all 5 of them could sing Jerry's song (although some may a little bit be lost in some part) and did not disappoint Jerry who stood beside to encourage them with a big smile. Especially, a pretty long-haired girl with very fair skin, one of the five, obtained a special encouragement from Jerry, who walked to touch her arm and said "fighting" in Thai to her. The screams were so loud that it seemed that the hall would collapse. After singing, all the participants received pillows with autograph from Jerry as a souvenir. All of them also took photos together. After listening to the singing by the fans, Jerry, the original singer of this song, sang this song "One Metre" for fans. Even though his weak health somehow affected his voice, Jerry still expressed the feeling of the song very well. Fans also sang along very loudly.

The second activity was a puzzle box game i.e. to sort the boxes to form a Jerry Oral-B picture as shown on the selected picture card. When selecting the participants via lucky draws, Jerry requested to make a draw himself and read the lucky seat numbers in Thai by himself. This raised a lot of laughter. There were 12 participants divided into 3 teams. The first team had Jerry join the team with his full effort but it became the team that took the longest to complete. The host joked about it that this was because the team members only looked at Jerry's face most of the time so they proceeded very slowly. Therefore, he did not allow Jerry to join the second team and let him stand beside for encouragement only. Jerry, nevertheless, held the picture card for them. But, he could not help directing the team how to sort. As to the last team, after holding the picture card for a while, he could not help joining the team in sorting the boxes. The result was the second team was the winner and received pillows with Jerry's autograph. The other teams received T-shirts with Jerry's autograph. All of them, then, took the photos together. The third activity was to find Oral-B toothbrushes in the large box, which was filled with small pieces of foams. Jerry continued to be the one who made a draw and read the lucky seat numbers. In this game, a team consisted of 2 members. One had to say "Oral-B" and draw the B sound as long as she could while the other would find the required Oral-B toothbrush in the large box before the B sound finished. In this game, the last lucky seat number drawn was the luckiest one because Jerry would join a team with her and be the one who made the Oral-BBBBBB sound for her. Even though he had a sore throat, he tried his best to draw the B sound as long as he could until he almost sat on the floor. This, again, won the hearts of the fans. Furthermore, Jerry was also brought to both sides of the stage in order to be closer to the fans. Jerry greet the fans with "Hello, Sawasdee Krab, I miss you" (in Thai). Another wave of the screams came again.

After that, Jerry went down the stage for a rest. A girl was called to come on to the stage. Her nickname was "Pang". She got a birthday surprise as that day was her birthday. Jerry brought a birthday cake to the stage himself and sang the birthday song together with all the fans for her. After surprising the girl, Jerry was then surprised by 3 lucky fans, who brought a birthday cake to the stage to celebrate his birthday in advance. (His birthday is Jan 1, 2006.) Everyone in the hall sang the birthday song for him in Chinese "Zhu Ni Sheng Ri Kuai Le, Zhu Ni Sheng Ri Kuai Le, Zhu Ni Sheng Ri Kuai Le, Zhu Ni Sheng Ri Kuai Le". The hall was full of the sound of the birthday song. There were also small pieces of colorful papers showering from the ceiling. It could be noticed that Jerry smiled very happily. The last surprise was Jerry asked the lady, who wrote a story about him, to come on to the stage. Her pen name was Auntie Pan. All the Jerry's diehard fans knew she was the same person as Khun Yay Ood Jung (Granny Ood). She revealed that her intention in writing this book was to let the people know the story about Jerry's life and take him as a good role model. This was because Jerry was born in a poor family but was very patient and worked hard to make his life better. He experienced many difficulties before he was as he was today. Jerry concentrated on what the translator translated for him all the time. Finally, he gave a pillow with his autograph as a souvenir to Auntie Pan. There were shouts from downstage requesting him to hug Auntie Pan. He followed the request right away with love and thank. Then, he walked along with her to send her down from the stage. His gentleness and warmth could be apparently seen from his manner. Then, the host said that the event came to the last part. Jerry, then, sang the last song for his fans, "Wo Shi Zhen De Zhen De Hen Ai Ni", which means "I really really love you". His fans would also like to send this message to him. Therefore, everyone in the hall sang this song together. When Jerry realized this, he also stretched his arm to send the microphone to the fans. The very loud and united sound of the song from all the fans there made him so touched that his tears were in his eyes. (If anybody could take that shot, it was quite apparent.) After singing, he said thanks to the fans and told the host that he and other F4 members would come here soon before he went down the stage. Unsurprisingly, some of fans cried while the other smiled happily. But all were very touched by their idol.

Finally, on Dec. 4, 2005, Jerry had to fly back to Taiwan to continue shooting his TV drama in Kaoshiung by flight CI 694 at 13.35 p.m. Actually, the flight was not publicly disclosed. But, with their efforts, the fans knew. There was also a rumor that Jerry would check out from the VIP route pre-arranged by Oral-B staff in Thailand. However, around 12.55 p.m., Jerry arrived at the departure terminal 2 at the airport in a Mercedes van, followed by a large group of the security guards. About 500 fans waiting at the airport stood in a line orderly on both sides. However, once Jerry entered through the door, the chaos started. Some foreign passengers were shocked and asked each other "who is he?". Due to the chaos, Jerry had a little accident but he was still in good mood and waved to the fans. After he struggled to successfully enter into the immigration area, the airport officers outside complained that this was the most chaotic situation at this airport. During waiting for the flight, Jerry and his staff took a rest in the China Airline lounge. It was told that actually there were the seats in a hidden corner prepared for him and his staff. But, he requested to take the seat in the area that people outside the lounge could see him easily. I did not want to think for my own favor but I really felt that Jerry knew what his fans wanted. At first, he sat on the seat that people from outside could see his face easily. However, he was then asked by his staff to change the seat so people from outside could then see only his side. His appetite was quite good. After 6 small pieces of sandwiches, he had Mama Tom Yam Goong flavored cup noodle. He had the noodle and the shrimps first then drank all the soup. He really enjoyed it. After that, he also had watermelon, then was back to sandwiches again. He also read the newspapers and chitchat with his staff happily. The fans waiting outside also enjoyed looking at him. Five minutes before the plane taking off, Jerry and his staff walked to the Gate. Jerry smiled and waved to his fans who called his name all the way to Gate 44. Before, he entered the Gate, he turned back and looked at his fans for good bye. All the fans also looked at him until he walked out of their sights. It was reported that he left Thailand with a good impression. In the eyes of several overseas fans who came to join this activity, they viewed that from his smile and manner, Jerry looked very happy. If this is true, his fans will be very happy because they have also waited for this day for so long.

According to Jerry's friends, his birthday wishes were uninteresting. It's always hoping that people around him would be healthy and happy. This year, with his friends around, he made 3 funny wishes of being healthy and happy.

Jerry's first wish was to see The Hospital's director Cai Yue Xuan get angry, scream and shout. Jerry says Director Cai's temper is too good and he have not blown his temper before, he wants to see how he loses his control.

Jerry, who loves playing basketball, has a wish to it as well. His second dream is to make basketball his career. He said, "If i'm not a artiste, i'll play basketball." Let me tell you first that Jerry made this trip to Thailand as an Oral B smile ambassador. Not only he joined the promotional activities with schoolgirls, an up close meet & greet party was also organized for those lucky fan clubs.

Schoolgirls of Horwang school beamed a smile with pleasure as they were the first group who had participated in the first activity with a gorgeous Jerry. Do we have to report on the atmosphere outside the hall as the place was also packed with some fan clubs.

Jerry : In fact, all possess a beautiful smile. Each country has a unique smile, like Thai girls has an appealing smile in a way. (smile) I think that smiling is a good approach to attract each other. Smiling is somewhat a way to build up a friendship. I can only say that the smile of Thai girls is as attractive as many countries. (smile)

Spicy : So Thai fans will get a chance to see Jerry again in next year?

Jerry : Absolutely (smile).. and may be I will come back with F4 members. I mean if we come up with another album, Thailand will be one of our stops for sure as there is bunch of fans here who love us. Every single trip is very striking. There is a possibility that we will hold a concert for Thai fans. If there is no change, by mid-year, we will get to meet again. (smile)

Spicy : Upon hearing that, I am so excited for them. Lastly, do you have any message to Thai fans?

Jerry : Yes. A big thank for a warm welcome given to me. I can say it is really really a warm welcome. (smile) both at the airport and today. Seeing lots of fan here I am so moving. Hope to see Thai fans again in an album promotional activity next year. See you again. (smile)

His popularity continues to be strong, jerry one of F4...a phenomenon which was created and recorded in the Thai entertainment industry is Meteor Garden. No one doesn't know "Dao Ming Sue" played by this guy, Jerry Yan.
In addition, being an endorser of several commercial ads, Jerry is the only Taiwanese star in Thailand whose popularity has never dropped. His latest work is the shooting "The Hospital" drama. With the right timing, he is now in preparation recording new songs with his F4 friends. The launching of new album under F4 is likely to be true and so we can expect to listen to their songs from their new album by 2006.

Another year has passed to our life, and whatever challenges that 2005 brought to us, we strongly faced it and survived. Now, 2006 will be another episode to our life... new hopes... new challenges...

Earlier on, Jerry Yan seek for help from his manager, Liu Wei Ci to help him on settling his going solo arrangements. However, their working together have secretly ended last week. Liu Wei Ci said, "I merely helped him for a period of time at first. My company is really busy and i really can't cope. I don't wish to hold him up because of that, so i shifted it."

As a popular one is Asia, every move of Jerry is being watched. First, he started the office of Star Jerry and got Liu Wei Ci to help out. However, such things are still sensitive, as they didn't have time to communicate, Liu Wei Ci decided to withdraw and shifted all the work back to Jerry. Liu Wei Ci said, "At first, we said we'll wait till he finish fliming The Hospital. But, looking at the situation, they won't be able to finish even in Jan, adding that i have many things to settle in my company, we have to compromise one another."

Liu Wei Ci expressed, a management job actually needs lots of communication time and you need the same idea. However, they don't even have time to meet up, causing the difficulties in their job.

Currently, Jerry's jobs are handled by his good friend, Mi Ya. She said, "We are also only helping for the time being, he'll do a change and hand up something after he finishes fliming and does it on his own, to see if he'll allow the office to help him set up his future road."
