as always nasa glorieta kami ng mga friends ko para sa aming YAN CHENG XU DAY which falls on every saturday. may napagtripan cna jerriel and jerrina...di namin to alam kc nagpaalam cla na pupunta dao ng CR so naiwan kami nina jerrymi and jerelyn. maya mya e2 na c jerrina at inaya kami na pumunta sa AUTOMATIC APPLIANCE CENTER. go kami syempre....at ano ang ginawa ng 2 dun? di naman cla buy ng appliance noh. aba, gulat namin kc humingi cla ng favor sa mga sales person dun na iplay sa wide screen TV nila yung trailer ng WHITE TOWER. kaya pumila na kami at nanood....ang ganda kc ang laki kaya nung TV pati sounds din. maya pati cla dun naki watch na din hehehehehe......may i ask pa yung isa kung bagong movie ba dao yun hahahaha. ang nagagawa nga naman ni JERRY sa buhay natin .....kung anu ano ang kaYANg gawin para sa kanya.pero behave kami dun ha....alang sigawan o ano pa man, beahave as in. WE'RE PROUD OF JERRY YAN AND FOR BEING A TRUE JERRY YAN FAN!!!

Bao Long and ZZ are very refined

Bao Long Jerry Yan and Zai Zai Vic Chou's relationship isn't bad because recently when Jerry was filming "The Hospital" and ZZ was filming "Silence" they visited each other on the set. One day they also concidentally were filming in the same building. Jerry bought some food to go see ZZ and played around with him, "Please let me be a passerby."

Jerry is simply like the ancient men, with no internet, not going away, not reading the papers, mailbox for 1 whole year has not been opened, and finally, his account number was chapped and dropped by the telecom company. Still, his walk to fame earlier has not died down, only because he’s afraid to be lonely, thus, a man hating going on a trip, finally would not go on with the trip. He did the unexpected and craziest thing “swimming naked in an island ”and also inside a villa. Always with an assistant to remove his blush, however, in going with him for a talk, he could be a very bold speaker.

In a night out at the Mei Nan riverside, Jerry Yan felt sleepy, tried to open his drooping eyes under the dusky lights. Earlier night in Kaosiung, he was shooting “The Hospital” he felt not good, and catches a cold because of the rain drenching scene. Catching up to return to Taipei, he only squint for an hour and had to get up at once to fly to Bangkok. Assistant Fanny was already at the gate for quite a while ringing the doorbell and trying to wake him up.

Now arriving in Thailand, coming to talk for Jerry is later replaced by his team “Star Jerry”, his first new venture, also a test. Ever since “Meteor Garden”, he hasn’t done any new TV serial. Competition came such as Korea’s Rain coming with the equally popular “Full House.”, and again with his remarkable song and dance acts. Jerry faces this with his own phase, not to be compared to his usual caution and seriousness. Results prove that when he is overseas, he still enjoy extra-high “drawing power” actually moving a multitude of focus in his every act, from entering to close the airport mistaken as a rebellion, arriving to speak for an ad product producing high amount of sales, and press conference attendance reaching as much as 130 media men. Thus, in Jerry’s mind, he would think all the time,” How can I be better?” Most often, he watches DVDs to gain experience, watching Zhang Dong Jian’s “Tai Ji Qi” until he is moved to tears, watching Guo Fu Cheng’s “San Cha Quo” and watching Mo idols on how to change their skins. Jerry is reputed in the entertainment circle as a very hard worker. In spite of being tired, plus catching cold because of shooting a rain scene that led him with a hard voice, he went down to enjoy the relaxing Xun night. Reporters praised Jerry for not having dark sores in spite of having no sleep and catching colds. He joked,” Its because I’m thick-faced!”. He continued that it was probably just his nature. Eating spicy and sour foods have not affected his skin at all.

Fan Account - Oral B Thailand

the meet & greet with Jerry is already finished.It was filled with what you can imagine, fun, joy, happiness, laugh and touching. Jerry is so cute as ever, just a little problem with his horse voice. Anyway, he managed to sing two songs; One metre and Wo Shi........ to Thai fans.Jerry spoke in Thai as many as he could, and we were very very impressive.

After Jerry was invited by the host, "Tin" the same guy in F4 concert in BKK, the first game was started. Five lucky names were randomly picked to be on the stage. They all are requested to sing One Metre and Jerry acted as a judge.The winners were all of them as Jerry said they were all good at singing. All were rewarded with Oral B pillow with Jerry's pic printed on it, Jerry signed on the pillow one by one. Then a group picture with Jerry was taken.

After the first game, Jerry sang One Meter,Thai fans sang along with him. The second game was like putting up nine boxes together to display a picture of Jerry's Oral B. Twelve fans were divided into three groups. Winner got pillows,the runner ups got Oral B tee, all items with Jerry's autograph. Then came a group photo-taking of all participants. Jerry was very helpful with all groups, he gave them a hand in finding and putting up the boxes.The first group took almost five minutes to get it done. The host jokingly said that those who was playing the game didn't mind the boxe but kept gazing at Jerry's face that's why it took longer time. ha ha ha Or it could be a trick that the longer they were on the stage, the longer they could be up close with Jerry. ha ha

Then there came the interview part about the way to take care your teeth, of course using high qulity product like Oral B.

After that, it was a game again.This one was very amusing even Jerry couldn't help to join it. This could test your lung on how long you can hold your breath and gradually let it out when kept saying B.......... The participants came in a pair, one had to say "Get healthy smile, get Oral B...." and at the same time, the other had to find the toothpaste in the box provided in time before their partner stopped saying Bbbbbbbbbbbb. Jerry prpared himself by making a noise like ahem..umm..to warm up his voice before saying B as long as he could. He even bent his back down to drag his voic last longer.Same as the previous two games, pillows and tee were given to all participants. Then taking picture. All games are finished.

Then three fans were picked and brought to the backstage for no reason. The host asked fan to give Jerry a little break. Jery went to the backstage.

Another girl was invited to the stage,the host asked if she knew why she was invited to the stage. She said No. Then surprisingly came Jerry brought a birthday cake to that girl. It turned out that December 3 is her birthday. All in the hall sang Happy birthday (in Englighs) to birthday person.Jerry even put his arm around that girl when taking photo.

Sorry this two happenging i couldn't remember which came first and after.

It happened that the three fans who were brought to the backstage showed up again with a surprise birthday cake for Jerry. We sang happy birthday song to him in Chinese.

The host said it's about time to say goodbye to Jerry and let Jerry sang one more song, Wo shi...

In my opinion, the highlight of this event was toward the end of the show when the host mentioned that Jerry was very impressed by one person who wrote a book about him. (i guess you guys know who that person is) She was invited to the stage and talked about how she adored him. She said she never fell for any other artists... "you are my puppy love". She talked about his hardhip in the childhood, had to start working when he was only at 11. How he loves and cares his mom. How determined, devote and persistent he is to his work for the perfection.She also asked Jerry to take care of himself,as fans would rather see his muscular body than his skinny body.The host told Jerry that the money raised from her book about Jerry amount 200,000 baht was presented to HRH Siridhorn. Fans were shouting "Hug her" (in Thai). When the host heard that so he told Jerry. And Jerry never hesitated to hug her. Jerry showed his respect to that person by escorting her to downstair. I am so touched with this scene,some fans even were crying. Then Jerry was standing in the middle on the stage. When i looked at the big screen, I couldn't believe my eyes, Jerry was almost cried. I think he was so touched.

Before the funcion was over, Jerry whispered to the host and he transtaled that "I was goosebump when he told me this. He will be back to Thailand again...with F4" we screamed our heart out.

Well, I have actually spoken to my friend from ABSCBN and she said that it is NOW safe to announce it.. jst a little story.. when the talks on the acquisition on WT’s rights was still ongoing, my friend would send me SMS every now and then as she is a BIG Ah Xu fan like us (although she has to remain low because she had to.. hehehe!); she was very anxious abt the negotiations as Ah Xu’s management then was the same usual demanding party.. besides, we can all jst imagine how much the rights would cost.. however, when it was FINALLY granted to ABSCBN, and signatures were already inked into the papers, she sent me a very long SMS with all the rejoicing and the likes.. I think she mentioned something like it has to remains secret then as everything has to be put under wraps before the actual announcement so as not to cause any problem, however small it may be.. but now, I got a goi-signal..

WHITE TOWER will surely be shown in Channel 2 in 2006.. as to the details, if I would be able to squeeze some, I wld surely advise you, guys.. am just happy, the Philippines would be part of WT’s success come 2006..

Primary School Teacher , Crazy Fan

The true feelings of fans, will be hard if it doesn't touch the idols. A 58 years old Thai primary school teacher often put Jerry as her role model during teaching. After which, because of him, she retired 4 years earlier and wrote a book, "My Jer-ry". Many fans who wanted to get his tickets for the meet the fans session, bought 800 sets of toothbrush in which he endorses in. They even went to pray to the 4-faced buddha before the balloting. When they won the tickets, they went back to the buddha and sang the whole Jerry's album.

Jerry Yan isn't in Bangkok yet, but fans from all over the world are already waiting for him at the airport. When he appeared, the whole scene was so crazy that it almost created chaos. Near to 30 securities couldn't help at all, only seeing the tall Jerry Yan being pushed around. Just a short 1 minute walk didn't complete even after 10 minutes. When the group left, shoes were left around, the scene was interesting. When they were going on the roads, they even needed the Thai police to help open up the way.

Pan Ah Yee, whom retired early, even specially went to learn how to use the computer and Photoshop in order to write the book,"My Jer-ry". In the thick book, there were rich articles and photographs selling for thai dollars 360 and everything would be donated to charity. Why does she like him ? She said shly, "He is warm, and good heart."

There were also fans from China and Hong Kong who awaited at the airport overnight. The hotel in which Jerry was staying was being fully booked as well. Speaking about her idol, a fan from He Nan Zheng Zhou who migrated to Thai said, they know he has bad habits and knows he has "good friend", Lin Zhi Ling, "All of us accept this and hopes he will get married early, when he's settled, he can work better."

Reporters who went with Jerry to Bangkok were given the chance to check out his rucksack & hotel room (See? If they ask nicely Jerry doesn't mind at all becoz he has nothing to hide. Compared to the HK paparazzi who "raided" his & ZZ's rooms / who broke into another actor (was it Gigi Leung?) hotel room etc).

They call his rucksack "the Dalian rucksack" - another attempt to connect it to his alleged trip to Dalian to see u-know-who! Haiya, he's been using this old bag since we all first fell in love with him ma, waaaayy before Dalian!

Wanna see Jerry Yan's appearance when he was young ? Shooting here, shooting there, handsome hunk, Jerry Yan can already be seen as a electrifying eye hunk when he was young. He has huge eyes when he was young and look like a healthy baby.

Jerry Yan, who is titled as Bao Long has another nickname, Xiao Bai Tu. However, he says he is very disobedient when he was young and ever mix into bad company.

Jerry said, he has ever mix into bad company when he was young and learnt how to be bad from his friends, very mischevious. Things he do included running to a cab and throwing a "bomb" in.

He said he only knew his character couldn't be like the past only when he entered showbiz and his group of friend still gives his beer and being brothers still. He keeps in contact with them and would look them up to chat too.

Jerry said he was once high profiled person in school. Because of him being a capricon, his character made him have conflicts with his class monitor. Now, he still does crazy things at times. The craziest thing he has done was to go skin dipping with a friend at a villa in Bali.

Reporters who went with Jerry to Bangkok were given the chance to check out his rucksack & hotel room (See? If they ask nicely Jerry doesn't mind at all becoz he has nothing to hide. Compared to the HK paparazzi who "raided" his & ZZ's rooms / who broke into another actor (was it Gigi Leung?) hotel room etc).

They call his rucksack "the Dalian rucksack" - another attempt to connect it to his alleged trip to Dalian to see u-know-who! Haiya, he's been using this old bag since we all first fell in love with him ma, waaaayy before Dalian!

They note that the bag is quite worn-out (i like a guy who loves his old stuff & will keep using 'em until they fall apart, like me)

There are pictures of its contents. If anyone's interested:

-an ipod (an mp3 music nut? )
-a mobile samsung dvd player (obviously a movie nut / izzit research?! )
-a dvd, i can't figure out the movie title
-2 books on medical practice (Woah! He reads this stuff )
-lots of health supplements (no wonder he's a big healthy boy )
-at least 3 different caps (wow, can tell he really likes his privacy )

Other observations:

-they note that his clothes are very simple and plain (in Jerry's case, it's not the clothes that make the difference la )
-that he sleeps in a pair of basketball shirt & pants (a TOTAL basketball nut )
-he keep all the things that fans give him (aaaaaawwww, we know that )


This is in all the main papers: Liberty Times etc including pics. Sorry its not a word for word translation. I'll leave that to the experts!

Jerry said, he have ever mix into bad company when he was young and learnt how to be bad from his friends, very mischevious. Things he do included running to a cab and throwing a "bomb" in.

He said he only knew his character couldn't be like the past only when he entered showbiz and his group of friend still gives his beer and being brothers still. He keeps in contact with them and would look them up to chat too.

Jerry said he was once high profiled person in school. Because of him being a capricon, his character made him have conflicts with his class monintor. Now, he still does crazy things at times. The craziest thing he have done was to go skin dipping with a friend at a villa in Bali.

Apparently a mod temporarily closed it down for maintenance.
as a fellow member and also a moderator, i feel it is important for me to say that there are reasons naman why we are now strictly implementing the signature rules.
as a member, we are using this forum for free and because we are using someone else's time, money and efforts while enjoying this forum. it is only fair that we abide by the rules that are laid down by the people behind Tsinoy.com, and i do keep in mind that rules have been laid down long before nagkaroon ng ganitong issue tungkol sa oversized siggies.
avatars and signatures are additional features that we enjoy, let us keep in mind tho that there are guidelines.
as a moderator, is it a job to monitor any violations happening in the forum. even as a moderator, we are not in absolute liberty to delete or edit out any posts just because we feel like it. we follow rules as well. we as moderators are also monitored by fellow moderators to make sure we are not abusing our authority as well. this is why our names are shown as well as reasons behind any deletion or edits made.
we understand that in the past we have allowed oversized signatures, and it is now that there is an auto-deletion of any oversized signatures. we have never been this strict, but now w have to take nto consideration the fact that not all members who enjoy the forum have dsl or any other quick connection. if large signatures and large quotes and large pictures are slowing down the page load, then we have to do something about it.
i guess changes like this do receive unpleasant reactions, but take into consideration it took a lot of thought behind the auto-delete feature. in the long run, this will benefit the majority.

Let me just clarify this if I got your point correctly.

So the thread was closed down for maintenance... But why was it the ONLY thread in Tsinoy that was locked? You mean, there are instances when one specific thread has a problem, independent of all the other threads?

Moreover, if the moderator felt the need to temporarily close down the thread for maintenance, why didn't he/she give any warnings to the regular members of the thread? We also find it suspicious that the thread was locked in the midst of a controversy between a member who is just posting her feelings and a moderator who can't respect such feelings.
