Meteor Garden" Japanese version, F4 stirs Asia
Tao Tai Lang remakes TV series, to be broadcasted next month

Taiwan's "Meteor Garden" was very popular after broadcasting in Japan, making the Japanese have the thought of remaking the 21st century "Meteor Garden." TBS TV station took the first step and already decided that in October they will broadcast Japan's version of "Meteor Garden" starring Matsumoto Jun, Oguri Shun, Matsuda Shota, and Abe Tsuyoshi as "F4." Taiwan's "Meteor Garden" stirred up Asia, the charm of Japan's F4 is something to look forward to.

Matsumoto Jun, from the group Arashi, will be take on the role of Dao Ming Si. Matsumoto Jun expressed that because of his sister's influence he had watched this anime before. At that time he really liked the story and thought that Dao Ming Si was really handsome. He hopes that he'll have a breakthrough performance this time. Matsumoto Jun was one of main figures on the highly rated Japanese drama "Gokusen I." TBS believes that with Matsumoto Jun's experience and popularity he'll be able to bring out the leadership to play the role in "Meteor Garden."

Japanese anime/manga artist Yoko Kamio's famous campus anime/manga "Meteor Garden" had sold 4,800,000 copies. In 1995 it was made into a movie starring Uchida Yuki. Taiwan's super idols F4's "Meteor Garden" shot to fame in Asia, making Japan energeticly prepare for the new version of the drama. This drama will be broadcasting starting next month on the 21st at 10pm on channel TBS.

I strongly recommend fans not to take these figures seriously. First of all, The East and Orisun Newspapers in HK are under the same organization. The information of these two news articles copied from the news article on Xing Bao by AC's reporter friend, the famous Liu/Zhan Cheng Yu, who is famous of her exaggerating style. Most Chinese fans know that her information is not even 50% reliable. She is the one who always helps AC to promote her dramas and artists, by indirectly attack Jerry on occasions. She was also the one who reported that NT$280,000 the first day and NT$400,000 the second day, and her information was denied on the third day by the HK production company which co-produced the drama.

I agree that how come a reporter knows about the actual figures, as these nos. should be confidential? Not mentioning that the figures may not be true, what good does it do to F4? If you can read the article by Liu/Zhan Cheng Yu, it is so funny. It mentions that Jerry earns the most but Zai's earning is only down to NT$20,000 in difference. As she is AC's reporter friend, I can't help suspecting her purpose of writing this article? As she reported that the difference was only NT$20,000, why didn't she write "F2 has earned smiliar"? To create conflicts? For F3 fans to hate Jerry? For telling that although Zai's earning is no. 2 but the difference is small? For telling that Vanness/Ken has earned the least? Now is only September. It is not the end of the year. What is the point of releasing this kind of comparsion article, given her relationship with AC? All I can say is that it is shameful for AC to keep telling the world that she is F4's agent when she goes around promoting her own dramas, and now use F4 like this.

A few days ago, reports announced the Japan TBS new series on ¡°new age guys¡± to match Taiwan¡¯s original version of ¡°Meteor Garden¡± will commence on October 21 at 10pm time slot. On the 4 rich high school guys, ¡°F4¡± production team already selected Jun Matsumoto, Oguri Shun, and Abe.

Meteor Garden¡¯s main story is about a poor young girl Shan Cai entering a super-classy school and the 4 Shao Ye who ruled the campus. Originally adapted from a classic manga which has sold over 4,800,000 copies since 1995, it has already been made into an anime movie. In Taiwan, because of this series, F4¡¯s Jerry Yan, Vic Zhou, Ken Zhu and Vanness Wu also became famous Asian idols. Last summer, they went to Japan for a pictorial for which anime fans gave them a huge welcome.

Aptly called F4, these group is composed of 4 strong-willed men including the brave Dao Ming Si played by Jun Matsumoto, who is also an anime reader. He said, ¡°Originally, I was influenced by my older sister to read the anime and I thought it was rather good! So from then on, I learned to like it a lot. I also wished I could portray it, and now, as I film the new version, it¡¯s a completely different work.¡± Just opposite to the hot tempered Dao Ming Si is Oguri Shun portraying the young, cool, depressed and handsome Hua Ze Lei, already an experienced actor, as a restrained juvenile in ¡°Neighborhood 13¡± and as a rebellious student in ¡°The Great Teacher Onizuka¡± said, ¡°To me, these very big opportunities come and go so I¡¯ll do my best.¡±

Besides the four handsome men is the female lead Mu Ye Shan Cai, played by Mao Inoue who spoke,¡± Finally, how can I play Shan Cai? Now I¡¯m very excited.¡± Most likely, the production team expressed their wish they could handle these young people very well, in all aspects of life, as well as raise them to become handsome campus heartthrobs, with a strong F4 image to carry on.

(Singtao Daily news) Coming from Taiwan and Korea, thousands of fans, F4 and Rain were all invited to come to attend to Disney Hongkong¡¦s opening ceremonies, with the Disney team wishing to fetch them through a chartered plane when they invited them to come to Hong Kong, and for which all of them are entirely busy with work, a few days ago, they formally declined the invitation.. At one time they went to Disney USA, F4 said they won¡¦t forget that wonderful experience.

Disney Hong Kong will formally open late next evening with anime performance, the heads leading the rites and a Disney concert. Originally invited to attend the performance, F4 and Rain were among those in the list of famous artists, and according to sources, the Disney side had done it in very good faith. Earlier, they expressed that they wished to invite F4 and Rain to come to the opening event via a chartered flight. Jerry Yan in his latest drama serial ¡§The Hospital¡¨ went over with huge pressures, that in order to maintain his persona, resorts to sports to keep fit. Due to the problems on the delay of the drama shoots he wasn¡¦t able to go to Shanghai for the Elite Model Search as a judge!

This month, he was about to go to Shanghai for the Elite Model Search, because international focus will be given, and the winners will go to New York for further training to be able to enter the international arena and join the international ad models or maybe enter showbiz. Host units really tried to invite models with good backgrounds to compete and Jerry to judge this year, who was then a crown holder in his time in Taiwan although he wasn¡¦t able to bag the crown when he competed in the mainland. However, it was a rich experience for him, plus the fact that during the past several years, he grew to be one of entertainment circle¡¦s most sought after performer, and being the a judge should have been fairly appropriate for him, but because of his shooting schedules, the host unit has already invited another to replace his post.

Jerry Yan, with his fame and charm and his legion of fans was followed by the mainland media. Resident reporters heard rumors that Jerry was about to go to Shanghai to judge and even felt excited to come. Slowly asking though Taiwan media and passing though his management, they found out he could not go and was a bit disappointed. This month, he will go to Hong Kong to participate in a Pepsi Event and immediately after, he would return for his drama shooting, which would make him incapable to attend the model search.

Recently, even though ¡§The Hospital¡¨ shootings have been catching up with its time schedules, Director Cai still wishes to attain a ¡§safe range¡¨ target. Thus he also wish that all actors would cooperate and catch up with the shooting speed. Jerry Yan together with Wu Meng Da and other performers all agreed to cooperate. Expressing to get the Director¡¦s attention and with very huge pressures, Jerry¡¦s inside persona somehow dictates o keep himself fit and his style is to call on a few friends for a basketball or for a quick jogging. On the other side, a drama staff smiled and said, ¡§He even builds team pairs and takes this very seriously. We never knew that this kind of sports could really make him relax and keep fit.¡¨

F4's Ken Chu has always taken the-boy-next-door road. But boys will grow up and their appearance will change also. Nowadays it's not only just a moustache and beard, but they smoke too! Last night Ken was a photographer for his friend's wedding party, letting the decadent "bearded Ken"'s appearance to be exposed. Durring the party, he smoked one cigarette after another. F4's clean image is disappearing!

A few nights ago at 6pm Ken went to Jing Hua Hotel to attend Photographer Xu Pin Shi's wedding party. He not only went to congratulate him, he was also the wedding party's photographer. But once he appeared, everyone stare dumb-founded.

What reporters saw wasn't just that he gained weight, but he also has a beard and moustache. Halfway through the party he started smoking. Sometimes he smoked with his legs crossed and sometimes standing, looking decadent and making it hard for one to imagine that he's a member of the handsome and fresh F4.

Bearded Ken smoking is surprising, but the bridesmaids Su Hui Lun and Xu Ru Yun (Xiu Xiu)'s performances were both competent. They both wore a light coffee colored elegant dress along with the best men. Su Hui Lun laughingly said, "It's the first time Xiu Xiu and I acted as bridesmaids!" Xiu Xiu commented on Ken, "His new decadent image and his serious expression when taking photos is very handsome!"

Ken's former assistant Lin You Hui exclaimed in surprise when she heard about this, "He doesn't smoke!" His current assistant Zhou Jun Yi said, "He usually doesn't smoke but if someone gives him a cigarette, he'll smoke." He also said that Ken was probably bored while waiting and plus his friend offered so he smoked. As for his untidy appearance, he also explained, "He doesn't shave when he doesn't have a drama to film. Artists have times when they relax too, but he didn't gain weight lah."

It happens that there is another similar case. Another member of F4 Jerry Yan took advantage of the free time he had from filming and also went out late at night. But he didn't smoke, he drank. His also didn't grow a beard or moustache. Although they are both F4 members, they spend their free time differently.

Lin Jia Qi loves hangovers

A few nights ago model Lin Jia Qi, born on September 10th, held a birthday party at the Plush on the 12th floor of Jing Hua Cheng. Another model Lin Zhi Ling's rumored boyfriend Jerry Yan (Bao Long) especially showed up at to celebrate. She said, "I didn't notify Bao Long because he was filming and the party was late but he suddenly appeared and said that he planned to give me a surprise for a really long time!"

To avoid talking about her friend, Lin Jia Qi said that hangovers have an "amusing" taste, "I haven't drunk or danced in a long time. I want to go a bit crazy, it's my birthday!" However, the result was that she was drunk and didn't wake up until 4pm yesterday.

Last March 2 a story in One Weekly featured the former model and F4 member Jerry Yan (Bao Long) and Taiwan's First model Lin Zhi Ling are both suspected to be sweetly involved in intimate robe pictures, and created a momentary noise. Now, on Lin Jia Qi's birthday, Bao Long was not absent when she held her party and unexpectedly came over, making her pleasantly suprised and even joined the evening night party for Lin Jia Qi. In addition, while media eyes rested for his drama shooting break, this mysterious male knight drove a car to join the party.

To celebrate her 28th birthday, Lin Jia Qi at about 10 pm on September 9 went to Bali Club in Yan Ji Street for her party. Almost all her model friends came over, and everyone was joyously celebrating up to 2 am. When the party was about to round up later, a mysterious male guy drove to catch up and greet Lin Jia Qi. She was with Cai Shu Zhen about to get into the car when this person quickly rushed though after the red light and arrived at the Jing Hua Cheng building later. Lin and Cai both continued to walk and this mysterious guy also quickly disappeared.

She said, "I didn't notify Bao Long because he was filming and the party was late but he suddenly appeared and said that he planned to give me a surprise for a really long time!"

This morning, August 31, while walking at Taipei's Pine Road (towards the intersection) I almost fainted when I saw in a taxi door a familiar ad of a person whom everyone loves. Just in time, the taxi stopped at a red light. After a little shock, I ran and chased it quickly while bringing out my pocket camera, hurriedly taking two shots. In a clear,bright day, Jerry's picture also showed itself nicely.

Jerry Yan in his latest drama serial ¡§The Hospital¡¨ went over with huge pressures, that in order to maintain his persona, resorts to sports to keep fit. Due to the problems on the delay of the drama shoots he wasn¡¦t able to go to Shanghai for the Elite Model Search as a judge!

This month, he was about to go to Shanghai for the Elite Model Search, because international focus will be given, and the winners will go to New York for further training to be able to enter the international arena and join the international ad models or maybe enter showbiz. Host units really tried to invite models with good backgrounds to compete and Jerry to judge this year, who was then a crown holder in his time in Taiwan although he wasn¡¦t able to bag the crown when he competed in the mainland. He called Lai Wei Kang in Taiwan because he is the MV godfather. He has made more than 2000 MVs to date, almost all are filmed in Taiwan and Hong Kong and a line of celebrities he has worked with.

The manager was very sensitive and I can feel that this person haven¡¦t handled an actor with a special nature and condition, as she barely started with him (Jerry) and still has no signed contract (referred to as the silent agreement) but already providing him with projects.
