BSJT, produced by Yang Ming Film and TV Productions, Inc. (www.ymtvgroup.com.tw) and set up the booth with Feng Lian Technology, Ltd. (FT) who will be in charge of its local marketing. At present, TV rights are still under negotiations.

The producers have only high regards to Director Cai. Currently, the company has already imposed no restrictions to let him work freely.


WHEN IS THE INITIAL BROADCAST?

The receptionist said that it would be sometime on February or March next year (2006). This is because Director Cai is still shooting the series. Moreover, many post-production processes are still to follow.

I like this couple. Confirmed facts about Jerry & Lin:

1. They both admit openly that they knew each other before either of them were famous - hard working young models.

2. They both openly admit that they are "good friends" - many many times on different occasions in print media & on tv.

3. They both openly encourage each other's careers - Lin's "Jia You3x!" to Jerry (very sweet & funny ), Jerry's comments about Lin's good figure Azio tv interview last year, Lin congratulate Jerry on his award in Shanghai early this year (Jerry did not attend) etc.

4. They have gone out with each other many times:
- watching movie: both explained that they were with several other friends,
- Lin was photographed with Jerry late at night & leaving his place at 8.00 am the next morning - both did not deny & just explained that they just spent the time talking & watching dvds (can believe / not ?!)

5. When Jerry was asked to explain the relationship last year, he said: "We are good friends. But I don't want to say anything more, because if we are photographed again together, people will say we are lying" - meaning he is not admitting or denying anything more than friendship at that point. This also means that he won't give up meeting with her ! In a tv interview last year, Lin also confirmed that she & Jerry have been good friends for a long time, and she won't give up seeing him just becoz fear of gossip. I like their loyalty - as friends, if not boyfren-gurlfren .

Conclusion: I think they're kinda unique becoz of this long-standing loyal friendship thru the years. I hope they always maintain it no matter what. About this recent media-fuelled gossip on Lin's accident, my personal opinion:

1. I think Jerry did go to the hospital. Reasons:

a. The photo of him from the back, wearing white shirt/dark brown pants/black bag/black cap walking into the hospital room is clearly recognisable (Most Jerry fans know his back & his walk http://asianfanatics.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/lmao.gif ). Some reports have suggested that it is a pic of him walking into a hotel room, but anyone can tell from the door & surroundings that it is definitely a hospital & not the posh look of a hotel!

b. Secondly, the fact that his best mate Tang Guo Zhong was there in a black shirt which they later switched. I saw another photo today in Star of a guy walking OUT of the hospital room in white shirt & brown pants - altho blurred, can tell that this is NOT Jerry. They had already switched shirts. Guo Zhong has the same height, broad shoulders, long hair of Jerry. They look so alike at first, I thot he was Jerry's older brother. But Jerry is a little slimmer than Guo Zhong.

c. The conflicting statements of Lin's Mama - if she had said firmly outright from the start that Jerry never came, I would believe her. But she said no, then when reporters showed her Jerry's pic, she changed & said: " I was busy in the room & did not notice this person" - pretty funny when you know even a first class hospital room is not very big & can definitely see all visitors in the room no matter what you are doing ! Obviously, she is not an "experienced" media manipulator! Poor Mama.

d. Thirdly, Jerry's management said that he was in Korea. There are no direct flights from Taiwan to China becoz of the politics. He would have to transit either at HK / Seoul / Tokyo to go to China. The most common way is via HK. So the media immediately assumed that Jerry would fly to Dalian, China after returning from his fans-event in Cebu on 15th July, via HK. But he is too smart to be so obvious. So instead Jerry returned home to Taiwan on the 16th July - there were fans waiting for him at Taiwan airport. I think he took the flight to Seoul and then to Dalian from the 17th - 19th (when he went missing & his own management / the White Tower crew couldn't find him).

e. White Tower re-started filming again on the 20th July. Jerry's management confirmed that he had been to Korea. This is perfectly true - he HAD been in Korea, but what for? (We know what for !). Jerry never explained / commented / answered. Only said : Wu liao la, and smiled.

In other words, it's his business what he wants to do on his off days! Jerry = 1, media = 0 http://asianfanatics.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/loool.gif !!!!

2. But a lot of the other stuff is rubbish created by media (I think!): buying a house for Lin, buying a dog for Lin, buying KiKi Lala etc - obvious that people trying to cash in on Jerry-Lin mania !

I like this couple. Confirmed facts about Jerry & Lin:

1. They both admit openly that they knew each other before either of them were famous - hard working young models.

2. They both openly admit that they are "good friends" - many many times on different occasions in print media & on tv.

3. They both openly encourage each other's careers - Lin's "Jia You3x!" to Jerry (very sweet & funny ), Jerry's comments about Lin's good figure Azio tv interview last year, Lin congratulate Jerry on his award in Shanghai early this year (Jerry did not attend) etc.

4. They have gone out with each other many times:
- watching movie: both explained that they were with several other friends,
- Lin was photographed with Jerry late at night & leaving his place at 8.00 am the next morning - both did not deny & just explained that they just spent the time talking & watching dvds (can believe / not ?!)

5. When Jerry was asked to explain the relationship last year, he said: "We are good friends. But I don't want to say anything more, because if we are photographed again together, people will say we are lying" - meaning he is not admitting or denying anything more than friendship at that point. This also means that he won't give up meeting with her ! In a tv interview last year, Lin also confirmed that she & Jerry have been good friends for a long time, and she won't give up seeing him just becoz fear of gossip. I like their loyalty - as friends, if not boyfren-gurlfren .

Conclusion: I think they're kinda unique becoz of this long-standing loyal friendship thru the years. I hope they always maintain it no matter what. About this recent media-fuelled gossip on Lin's accident, my personal opinion:

1. I think Jerry did go to the hospital. Reasons:

a. The photo of him from the back, wearing white shirt/dark brown pants/black bag/black cap walking into the hospital room is clearly recognisable (Most Jerry fans know his back & his walk http://asianfanatics.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/lmao.gif ). Some reports have suggested that it is a pic of him walking into a hotel room, but anyone can tell from the door & surroundings that it is definitely a hospital & not the posh look of a hotel!

b. Secondly, the fact that his best mate Tang Guo Zhong was there in a black shirt which they later switched. I saw another photo today in Star of a guy walking OUT of the hospital room in white shirt & brown pants - altho blurred, can tell that this is NOT Jerry. They had already switched shirts. Guo Zhong has the same height, broad shoulders, long hair of Jerry. They look so alike at first, I thot he was Jerry's older brother. But Jerry is a little slimmer than Guo Zhong.

c. The conflicting statements of Lin's Mama - if she had said firmly outright from the start that Jerry never came, I would believe her. But she said no, then when reporters showed her Jerry's pic, she changed & said: " I was busy in the room & did not notice this person" - pretty funny when you know even a first class hospital room is not very big & can definitely see all visitors in the room no matter what you are doing ! Obviously, she is not an "experienced" media manipulator ! Poor Mama.

d. Thirdly, Jerry's management said that he was in Korea. There are no direct flights from Taiwan to China becoz of the politics. He would have to transit either at HK / Seoul / Tokyo to go to China. The most common way is via HK. So the media immediately assumed that Jerry would fly to Dalian, China after returning from his fans-event in Cebu on 15th July, via HK. But he is too smart to be so obvious. So instead Jerry returned home to Taiwan on the 16th July - there were fans waiting for him at Taiwan airport. I think he took the flight to Seoul and then to Dalian from the 17th - 19th (when he went missing & his own management / the White Tower crew couldn't find him).

e. White Tower re-started filming again on the 20th July. Jerry's management confirmed that he had been to Korea. This is perfectly true - he HAD been in Korea, but what for? (We know what for !). Jerry never explained / commented / answered. Only said : Wu liao la, and smiled.

In other words, it's his business what he wants to do on his off days! Jerry = 1, media = 0 http://asianfanatics.net/forum/style_emoticons/default/loool.gif !!!!

2. But a lot of the other stuff is rubbish created by media (I think!): buying a house for Lin, buying a dog for Lin, buying KiKi Lala etc - obvious that people trying to cash in on Jerry-Lin mania !

Jerry Yan returned to the Philippines for a quick gig in Cebu. All too briefly, we sigh.

It's been two years already since we first saw him on local TV. We're still in love with him.
When Bench head honcho Ben Chan brought Jerry Yan (Daoming Si to eternal fans of Meteor Garden) back to these shores, this time for a one-night only engagement in Cebu, it seemed like F4 mania all over again.

Jerry arrived the night of July 14 and stayed at the Waterfront Hotel in Lahug, Cebu. The event dubbed as "Dali! Na-a si Jerry in Cebu" ("Hurry! Jerry is in Cebu!") was scheduled at 3pm the next day at the Pacific Grand Ballroom of the hotel. Thousands of fans flew in from Dumaguete, Davao, Baguio, Manila and even from neighboring countries like Japan, Korea, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, China, Singapore and Taiwan just to get a glimpse of Jerry.

Unlike his past visit though, thiis time, Jerry came and went in a flash. He was on stage for a brief 20 minutes, sang two songs (one of which is his latest hit Gravity) and agreed to an exclusive interview for ABS-CBN with Amy Perez.

Jerry, with the help of an interpreter, disclosed that he missed his Pinoy fans as much as they missed him. Through an interpreter he said, "It's the warmth of the Filipinos. They're so friendly." He also would have loved to go shopping and hit the beaches if not for this busy sked. And he has absolutely fallen in love with native dishes like sinigang ("It's unique. The soup is something else.") and chopsuey. Visibly amazed tha Meteor Garden reruns are still doing well in the ratings, Jerry tries to explain why his character in the phenomenal series continues to prove irresistible to viewers: "Maybe it's because the real Jerry Yan has similiarities with Daoming Si. We're both childlike."

Jerry hopes that debut album Jerry for You and the new Taiwanese series he's finishing at the moment, White Tower where he plays (gasp!) a doctor will be as warmly accepted. "It's fresh...It's something new but it's really fun to play a doctor," he says. His future plans: to do more live concerts. Which could only mean we'll be seeing more of Jerry Yan in the future.

In working together for the drama (Ba Se Ju Ta), Jerry and his co-star uncle (Wu Meng Da) didn’t initially discussed matters relating to work at the guestroom. Only when work has started to become difficult that Jerry decided to come to Uncle’s room to consult him on the drama scenes.

Ever since Jerry worked for Cai Yue Xun, the highly acclaimed director of The Hospital, it seemed that he changed himself and the change was rather a good one, that he even spoke of cold jokes in front of reporters grilling him on various issues, nor did he showed a bad face like the ones he did before. Instead, he revealed a shy smiling face. Then, he spoke frankly on the huge pressures on working with experienced actors for the first time and the high caliber production team of The Hospital.

“I was even nervous to forget my lines.” Jerry spoke. In the drama, the real strength of the group includes Zhang Guo Zhu, Qian De Men and Wu Meng Da. They and Jerry prepared hard for the pressures - always reviewing the scripts and exchange ideas on how to make the scenes better, comparing them from previous scenes, taking off whatever scenes that had bad taste, and looking at them several times. With Wu Meng Da in particular, he can’t help giving praises for Jerry on his way of internalizing his role. “Uncle’s skill on playing his role is really very deep and refined! However, “the highly praised” Jerry started very disappointed, forgetting one or two lines, that increases his disappointments. In between takes, while other performers rest their way. Jerry goes to see Wu Meng Da in his room to consult some skills in the next scenes. Wu Meng Da feels that Jerry is exerting too much pressure on himself. Actually, he had already improved well, fairly keeping up with his role as Dr. Su Yi Hua. To make Jerry relax a little, Wu Meng Da pats his shoulder and smilingly says, “Don’t feel depressed, you can still call me Uncle or call me Elder Brother.” But its not only Wu Meng Da that Jerry regards most. For him, even Liang Xiu Shen, Qian De Men and Zhang Guo Zhu are endless “thumbs up” praises.

There's not a single negative article that came out during MARS filming. We know that ZZ has many NG scenes but Director Cai was just amused by those unlike now that he's filming WT. It was reported that he scolded JY after NGs which he definitely didn't do to ZZ. Probably ZZ is so lovable and adorable in those NGs & just laughed it off.
