The above countries will be able to see Jerry Yan brushing his teeth. Mr.Chi from Jerry’s management revealed that the fee for this commercial is 7-digits HK dollars, when converted to NT(Taiwan Dollars) it will be more than 10 million. Jerry’s only task is to maintain his teeth to be healthy whole year round without any decay, for just brushing his teeth he already earned more than 10 million.


From what we know, Jerry is very proud of his teeth, because it is very straight, very clean and very white and that his teeth are all real without any denture. Aside from that Jerry also has four contracts: with an apparel company in HK(S and K), Philippine Apparel company(Bench), milk candy(UHA), softdrinks company (Pepsi). Mr. Chi revealed that in every commercial, Jerry’s fee always started at 7-digits HK Dollars and that is more than 10 million each, so when you add the above four commercials, it is more than 40 million already, so to add all the above commercials for this year with the new toothbrush commercial, Jerry already earned more than 50 MILLION this half year alone.

F4 holds a Film Festival in Japan

Taiwanese band F4 succeed in opening their Japanese market. Starting 3 days ago, a F4 Film Festival is held in Japan for more than a month. Other than showing Jerry Yan’s “Magic Kitchen”, Vanness Wu’s “Star Runner” and Ken Chu’s “Sky of Love”, their first Taiwan concert “Music Party” will also be broadcast. F4’s Japanese Pictorial album “F4@Tokyo” will soon be released on July 21. Each album is selling (Japanese dollar) $4,515 yen (about HK$325). The responses are extremely good. So far, pre-orders received from Japan and China have exceed 10,000.

I met Jerry last year in December when he was sitting next to me on the plane from China to Korea. [But at the time I had no idea who he was....]

He was sitting in the aisle seat when I got on the plane, but stood up and helped me put my bag in the compartment under the chair and then let me slide past him to get the window seat. I was surprised at an Asian guy with such good manners~!

He fell asleep just about straight away so we didn't talk. But then when they were serving icecream he took the vanilla one and the flight attendant said to me that there was only strawberry and chocolate left. I was like "oh...so there's no more vanilla? Oh well, I guess I'll have strawberry then". I put my tub of icecream on the tray in front of me and was just putting the napkin on my lap when I notice a hand reach out and take my icecream. I thought that Jerry was stealing my icecream~~!!! and the look on my face must have been priceless! But then I noticed that he was holding the vanilla icecream in his other hand and offering it to me looking really worried and saying "vanilla?". I guess his English mustn't be so great as he seemed to struggle just to say that one word! I was so happy and Jerry's face went red as I kept saying "Thank you! Really, is it OK if I eat your vanilla? You're so nice~!".

After that I asked "Why are you going to Korea?" and he said something about a music award show. I still didn't click that he was a singer and thought he must work as a reporter or something. And that was about all there was to it. At the end of the flight he gave me his box of chocolates that we were all given in first class (I'd already eaten half of my pack!). And he said "Have good time in Korea" and then rushed off the flight with a guy who I guess was his manager.


.....oh, and by the way....I just realised that my username is not original at all~! Who is sunflowerxbaby? I'm sorry for having such a similar name....oops!

Model Lin Zhi Ling went to a court in Taipei with her lawyer on the night of the 29th because in February when she sent her cell phone to be repaired, pictures of her and Jerry Yan in robes were exposed. Because Lin Zhi Ling's status is special, she's considered a well known public figure, under the request of her management company the court is handling this case in low-profile. Lin Zhi Ling is scheduled to go to court after work, she is treated with high respect.

Lin Zhi Ling arrived at court exactly at 7pm on the 29th and was there for about 2 hours. Regarding the management's request, no laws were broken because when the prosecutor has a special identity, to avoid unnecessary troubles, CPPCC is used to make things easier for the prosecutor.

In February Lin Zhi Ling forgot to delete her picture with Jerry before repairing her cell phone and the pictures were sold to a magazine by someone. Besides protesting to the repairer the management company hired a lawyer to charge the repairer, the media and the person who sold the pictures for copyright and invasion of privacy.

Taiwanese band F4 succeed in opening their Japanese market. Starting 3 days ago, a F4 Film Festival is held in Japan for more than a month. Other than showing Jerry Yan’s “Magic Kitchen”, Vanness Wu’s “Star Runner” and Ken Chu’s “Sky of Love”, their first Taiwan concert “Music Party” will also be broadcast. F4’s Japanese Pictorial album “F4@Tokyo (http://mail.yahoo.com/config/login?/ym/Compose?To=“F4@Tokyo)” will soon be released on July 21. Each album is selling (Japanese dollar) $4,515 yen (about HK$325). The responses are extremely good. So far, pre-orders received from Japan and China have exceed 10,000.

changing mods from time to time is good and healthy, i wont tell how many mods here are angry with me when they hear/read this. i've been a lurker in this site since last 2003 .. i have seen alot of troubles, maybe caused alot of troubles.. but i wont talk about something from the air .. or something i dont feel about it.

so playing fair the GAME is good healthy. giving chances is good, but being bias, the person will look like a TANK full of nothing but empty and shallow.

F4 Japan Emergent Press Conference was held on April 27, 2005. The reason of their visit was to shoot photos for the upcoming F4 photo album, scheduled to be released in July.

They arrived one by one at the Narita Airport, Jerry and Vanness on April 23, Ken and Vic on April 24. On April 27, except for Ken who stayed in Japan, the rest of them left Japan hurriedly. The press conference was held on the morning of their last day in Japan. After entering 2005, indeed F4 have increasingly grabbed a lot of attention.

It was their first encounter with Japan media, so quite a lot of press members attended the gathering.

They have lots of zealous fans since their debut in Japan. Many people must have thought: "Finally, the day has come!"

Nicholes Tse joined the Pepsi family. The new ad he shot with F4 and Louise Koo was planned to broadcast in mainland first. However, Hong Kong audience has not yet seen it. So he requested the producer to have it broadcast earlier in Hong Kong. The full version will be air on TV tomorrow evening as a special privilege even-though another promotion is currently in progress. The full version lasts for one minute. It will fulfill the audience longing all at once.

Something happened during the shot. In one of the scenes, Nicholes had to be hung on wires in the middle of the air and dash towards the ground. Staffs worried he would get hurt so did not exert on full strength. Despites, Nicholes reminded the others not to hold back. Just do what it had to be. Hence, he ended up being a “Ta Sheng Yu”(a smashed piece). He was being thrown a few times yet without even gave a groan.

F4 to occupy Hong Guan next year in March

The F4 heat wave will be attacking Hong Kong. Following their "reunion" in Thailand, next year in March the four will step onto the stage of Hong Guan to quence HK fans' thirsts. It's already been decided that Dong Ya Yu Le will be hosting this concert.

According to what's known, Dong Ya originally wanted to hold the concert this December so that like their concert 3 years ago, they would be spending Christmas with fans. However in December is already scheduled for an ice skating event, pushing back the date to F4's concert. It's already been 3 years since F4 held a concert in HK so tickets will surely be in high demand. Therefore F4's manager Yao Yi Jun said, "It's still not 100% certain because we're afraid that it'll affect filming schedules but there will definitely be a concert. It's only the time that isn't fixed yet." On the 21st F4 will be releasing a pictorial in Japan with Tokyo life as the theme.

The columnist said it was raining and she was bleeding coz the $HK25 umbrella but when she arrived she found lots of fans getting ready there. The highlight was the attending of superstars, not only Louis Koo but also Jerry and Zaizai.



After the function was ended, Zaizai's fans were not satisfied the ticket's distribution since the postioning of the seats were too bad. The spokeperson of pepsi said the event was especially for the press so they provide the better position for the media. The fans gathering in the venue was only to show their support. It didn't mean they were unfair. Zoning of the tickets was arranged by the organizer, not their responsibility.

I remember tuloy that day sa ULTRA, iba pa rin yung feeling pag apat sila, sama-sama. The F4 wave will soon hit Hong Kong. After their reunion in Thailand for concerts a while ago, the four boys will soon come over to the stage of Hung Hom Stadium in March next year so as to meet Hong Kong fans¡¯ longing aspirations. Far East Entertainment has confirmed with the organization of this upcoming F4 Concert in Hong Kong.

According to the sources, Far East planned to have the concert in December, just like the same concert held 3 years ago. So they can cerebrate Christmas with the fans. However, the time slot in December has been grant for a skating show, caused the delay of the F4 concert. F4 did not hold any concert in Hong Kong for the last 3 years. Therefore, the tickets for next year¡¯s performance will definitely be in hot demands leading to a ¡°ticket-hunt fever¡±. In respect to this, F4¡¯s Taiwan manager Yau Yi Jun expressed, ¡°This is not yet 100% assured. Their shooting schedules may have implications on it. Nevertheless, the concert for sure will be held. Only the timing has not been affirmed.¡± On 21st of this month, F4 will launch their pictorial album in Japan. Taking Tokyo live as its theme, the photos will be very lively.

Other than that, Jerry Yan (Bao Long) started shooting the Taiwan drama ¡°The Great White Tower¡± in recent. Since the original writer is a general surgeon, surgical procedures are required to be handled precisely when shooting. In order to let Jerry takes on a life-like role, he went in person to observe surgeries in the operation room on top of learning from series of surgical reference tapes provided. He described the experience as ¡°very very striking¡±. He further denoted that living in good health is so good.

hello, hello DAOists!!! am back after 10 years.....

sorry for neglecting my posting duties recently. been really really busy this week.

am hoping this political crisis would end soon. grabe, palagi na lang ba tayong ganito? i had to endure sitting through a meeting a couple of days ago where my bosses (all foreigners) have openly questioned the wisdom of wanting to invest more in this very politically and economically unstable country.

on a more trivial matter, the likelihood of the bench event being cancelled or postponed is getting higher by the minute. these are very uncertain times and i would rather that jy not risk coming here. but am still hoping and praying that everything will turn out ok in the end (ang hirap yata magpa-refund ng plane fare sa travel agent, no :p ).

lastly, sorry guys for bringing this up again but just can't help but reply to this post.....

ok guys, i hope to see nothing further regarding deleted posts. if you notice the posts now are just all about to offend a co-forumer so please enough of it ok? if this will not stop, i think this would cause a bit of trouble in the forum so quit it alright? mods are here to moderate posts to minimize bandwidth which would help in not slowing down the forum. so to all, kindly watch out for your own posts so any of us won't have an issue like this. you guys, i hope to count on you. thanks!
