Jerry Yan was the Second Men's Uno Supermodel Contest champion

ELITE MODEL LOOK 2005 World trials gets off a lively start. In Taiwan, registration is now accepted.Before, the attention is limited only to women but now the men
also have an exclusive and famous supermodel contest.Men’s uno magazine conducts the 2005 International Chinese Male Super Model Contest which now starts to accept registration. If you think you look like Jerry Yan but your starlight appeal is not recognized, this is the right opportunity time to explore.

The 8th session of the 2005 men’s uno super male moldel contest was first held in Hong Kong and expanded to mainland China Men’s Uno. In all previous years, the contest has hauled quite a number of stars, including F4’s Jerry Yan who was the second session champion. Topaz glory’s Li Shao Siang, inspite of his career odds, joined this contest and now makes a happy debut which is slowly stepping off on his way to stardom.

The popular model’s short contract will be hot. It can change course in his performance in the circle to develop into an idol,and actually surpassing their female counterparts. Last year's male supermodel winner Xu T’engfang bagged many ad contract like thick soup, bank, Pizza,fashion magazine, etc and modelled mens uno’s many fashions products pictorials.

The super male model contest finals will be conducted this September in Shanghai,as always. In an appointed time, Taiwan will select it’s winner and next is Hongkong.Together, both winners will will march to Shanghai to compete. Yan Cheng Xu observed surgeries and his appetite was severely affected! Because of the filming of White Tower, Yan Cheng Xu and other main actors needed to observe some surgeries on site. Yan Cheng Xu who used to have a big appetite has lost it recently, and he has even stayed away from the steaksI

After joining the filming of White Tower, Yan Cheng Xu has to attend some medical classes rencently. In order to let the actors act/work more comfortably inside the hospital, they even need to observe the bloody scenes of some actual surgeries inside the hospital. Furthermore, artificial skin was prepared, and it allows the actors to practice how to operate a scalpel and how to sew a wound closed, etc...

During the continuous observation inside the surgery room, all Yan Cheng Xu could say was, "E...E...!" He sat there without a word. He did not feel right sitting down. He did not feel right standing up neither. He used to have a big appetite but recently it has been affected. Yan Cheng Xu's assistant joked, "The doctors told us that we might feel uneasy the first time, but we should feel nothing after watching it the third time, and there should be no problems with the steaks. However, Yan Cheng Xu's appetite has not recovered yet. "

Because of this new project, Yan Cheng Xu's attitude toward life has changed a lot, especially after talking to some doctors and he realized that their no. 1 difficulty is how to handle when facing "death". This understanding allows Yan Cheng Xu to treasure life more, and his attitude toward others has become nicer. He even initiates contact/conversations with Da Li Ren and his actions have changed a lot of people's impression on him. He said, "By filming this drama, I have learned the most since I joined the show business."

sa MG1 naman ang pino-forward ko dun yung scene ni San chai at nung HILAW niyang BF forward to death ako.Regarding sa fiance ni DAO dun mas na-take ko pa siya...

Hindi ko kasi talaga matiis hindi bumisita dito sa kingDAOm eh! Ito, buhay pa naman ako, despite the very hard first week na pinatikim sa amin sa law school. Kakaiyak nga coz last week, average of 2 hours per day lang ang tulog ko, kasi sobrang dami ng readings. Nakakatuwa last night, actually nakakaiyak... Hmmm.. Magulo ba? You'll find out in a while.

Kasi, diba yung super heartbreaking scene sa MG? The sink scene? Sobrang nakakaiyak diba, coz the way Jerry acted out the scene, you can really feel the raw pain he's feeling. Sobra.. Naiyak ako ulit, coz I don't want to ever see him like that..

Anyways, ang nakakatuwa doon, nabuhay yung ibang DAOists - nagkatextbrigade dahil sa scene na yun. Wala lang, nakakatuwa lang. Nakakatuwa how we can still be affected by a scene from a series that we've probably seen several times, and yet, we're still very much affected by it as if we're just seeing it for the first time. Kakatuwa talaga.:D

I got my pass already. Bad trip lang walang available photobook. Tatawagan na lang daw ako.. super dun pa man din ako na excite! Tapos yung pass.. I was expecting a ticket na parang hard paper lang.. nagulat naman ako card type pala sha. So cool!

Now.. pag iisipan ko na lang mabuti kung pupunta ako ng Cebu :confused: . Hmpft! Ang layo naman kasi.. at ang gastos pa!

Nagtatanong sa kin saleslady kanina kung super fan daw ba ako.. hehe. She gave me 2 posters.. one for each shirt.. pero mga luma na posters na e.. well at least meron.

oo nga eh. dami ko kasi errands esp. during weekends. but of course, nai-singit ko pa rin ang pag-punta sa bench - glorietta the other day to avail of the photobook/pass. medyo nawala ako sa aking lucid interval nang makita ko yung bagong pic ni jy na naka-pink shirt at dahil na-aliw rin ako sa bading na sales clerk kaya anim na t-shirts ang nabili ko :D. pero tinanggihan ko na yung posters kasi luma naman.

Sabi ko nam,an oo nga! Then sabi ko sa saleslady, Miss bakit walang photobook? Then asked niya yung isang saleslady kung kasama daw ba sa JY collections yung 2 shirts na binili ko. Then dumating manager napagalitan pa yung saleslady sabi nung manager," sabi ko naman sa inyo basahin niyo muna yung memo eh, sige kumain ka na nga muna!" Jerry is fully involved in screening the female lead, who will be paired w/ him and expected to be complete until January 2006.

[2005/06/16 ] Yan Cheng Xu, Zhou Yu Min, Gu Tian Le transforms into blue birdmen

Following the Jordan trip of the 9 stars of Pepsi to film a commercial, Pepsi’s newest breakthrough of 2005 is awaited with much anticipation. The first volley of the 2005 Pepsi Blue Storm gathers 5 of Taiwan and Hong Kong’s hunks, Louis Koo and F4, to film the all-new Pepsi commercial. On June 15, Gu Tian Le, Yan Cheng Xu and Zhou Yu Min gathered together in Hong Kong to attend the 615 Pepsi Blue Storm Overture presscon. Over 200 reporters from mainland China, Hong Kong, Taiwan, Japan, and the rest of Asia were present. To thank those fans who have always supported Pepsi, Pepsi specially invited 600 fans to the presscon to share with them this unusual all-new commercial. During the presscon, Gu Tian Le and Yan Cheng Xu even celebrated Zhou Yu Min’s birthday, creating a very moving scene.

The stage of the Overture presscon was larger in scale than the one of the Pepsi 9 stars last year, just the cost of the production alone reached a 7-digit amount. Both sides of the stage were costumes and major props from Louis Koo and F4’s commercials. Among them is a large metal bird cage that due to its complexity to assemble, took Pepsi 5 days to re-assemble in a place specially-leased for that and then transport it to the venue of the presscon. In a very mysterious entrance, Gu Tian Le, Yan Cheng Xu and Zhou Yu Min appeared onstage with a brand new look. After they appeared atop the mechanical elevated stage, the metal wings behind them opened spontaneously. It’s because in the commercial they are not common or human at all, but are members of the clan of blue birdmen. In the commercial the metal wings of each of the Pepsi superstars were created using computer generated imaging. Pepsi made a model of the wings using metal and custom made these mechanical metal wings for the 3 Pepsi stars especially for the presscon. The cost of the metal wings plus the newly assembled iron cage reached 500,000.

ZaiZai also thought that filming was an extremely meticulous undertaking this time, with almost no room for errors. “Before filming, they used computers to simulate the entire commercial digitally. I heard it was so they could calculate the length and speed of every frame and every shot. It was very difficult to imagine because we were filming against a green screen. Before filming on the set, they used preliminary computer images to show us the background that will be used for every shot.”

At the presscon, the 3 Pepsi superstars personally introduced and demonstrated their weapons. The metal cage was in fact where Gu Tian Le was trapped in. His whole body was imprisoned by heavy iron clasps. He let F2 experience what it was like to be handcuffed during the presscon. F4 on the other hand had it much easier. They all had a mini-weapon on them, they use this to store ice-cold Pepsi. These 4 bottles of Pepsi plus the united spirit and strength forms the blue storm and becomes the key element of the rescue plan.

Praised by F4, Gu Tian Le was indeed very happy. But he was also very humble when being interviewed. “I’ve watched “Meteor Garden”! They’re very young, very direct, not like us before. They’re full of life and also fun to work with. The day before filming we were hanging by cables for the whole day. Even though we haven’t know each other long, the atmosphere when we were working together is excellent. I hope there are more opportunities to work with them in commercials or movies.”

At the presscon, Pepsi gave each of them miniature metal wings as souvenirs. The 3 Pepsi superstars unveiled the all-new Blue Storm themed bottle packaging, and the all new image products will go on the market nationwide soon. The most important part during the press conference is of course being able to preview this new, much anticipated commercial. A 615 special edition premiere clip was shown during the presscon. The full version will premiere on June 24 at 8:00pm on CCTV1 and will also be simultaneously broadcasted on other major stations nationwide. In the 615 special edition premiere clip, a mysterious character was revealed – the one who trapped and guarded Gu Tian Le’s character, the“Phoenix”. Who is the Phoenix? Will the Blue Bird clan be able to release The Phoenix and let him fight against the evil power so he could be reborn? Certainly everyone will be pleasantly surprised again!
